February 22
1h 2m

Episode Description

We’re diving into the incredible story of Madam C.J. Walker, a woman who overcame unimaginable adversity to become America’s first self-made female millionaire and build a legacy that is still alive today. From her groundbreaking impact on Black entrepreneurship to the creation of the iconic Walker Theatre in Indianapolis, we explore how her vision, resilience, and determination helped create opportunities for generations of Black Americans.

Inside the historic Walker Theatre, staff and attendees report shadow figures, phantom footsteps, and a powerful presence that many believe is Madam Walker herself, still watching over the space she dreamed into existence.
