Clichés abound in this life, we love and hate hearing them at certain moments of joy and suffering. Love because the idea of someone else understanding you in the gravity of a moment brings camaraderie and togetherness, a shared and empathetic understanding that is not abused or made fun of.

Hate because many humans do not fully understand the depth of our words, and when we use them carelessly in a cliché it not only wreaks of disrespect but it also reveals a lack of mature understanding. Let these ways become old and dying ways, and look deeper still.
