Life Got in the Way (So We're Taking a Mini Break)

Episode Description

It's summer break, so Pint-Sized Logic goes short and solo. Paul's on his annual landlord pilgrimage through the student houses - Paul has a mini existential crisis about why he's still doing this manual labour himself when every business book says he shouldn't be.

The theory that emerges: Chris is at home managing prototype teenagers, Paul's here managing the finished product - and both of them are really just chasing the same thing. The illusion of control. Fixing a broken table is simple, satisfying, finishable - unlike the messy, grey problems of actual life. Maybe that's the real reason neither of them delegates the fires they don't strictly need to put out.

Full-length episode back next week, with Chris, debating whether humanity has actually improved since the 1980s.
