Some Republicans as well as Democrats are expressing deep concern about the unprecedented $1.7+- billion pot of money the president plans to dole out to people he calls "victimized" by the federal government. Democrats tried to get more information from the man in charge of it, Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, who will appoint the commissioners who will decide who gets paid. He just wrapped up about three hours of testimony to the Senate Appropriations Committee.
