Episode Transcript

[SPEAKER_12]: Hello and welcome back to another episode of Mage Hand High Five.

[SPEAKER_12]: I'm your dungeon master, Casey Pappas, and with me, ranked least to most likely to spank a mango.

[SPEAKER_07]: Sure.

[SPEAKER_12]: I'm excited.

[SPEAKER_05]: We're very excited.

[SPEAKER_05]: We're the bottom of the barrel of these.

[SPEAKER_12]: The lore behind this one is that it's been sitting for so long in our documents.

[SPEAKER_12]: I'm finding it.

[SPEAKER_02]: Because nobody knew what it meant.

[SPEAKER_01]: Next, did you write this?

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, we were just kind of shooting.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, what's it mean?

[SPEAKER_02]: What doesn't it mean?

[SPEAKER_01]: What doesn't it mean?

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_01]: What doesn't it mean?

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's like a spank mango.

[SPEAKER_02]: And like in this situation, what is a spank and what is a mango?

[SPEAKER_02]: That's such a good question.

[SPEAKER_12]: Rains purely on vibes, least the most likely to spank a mango.

[SPEAKER_12]: First, Rowan McStay.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah.

[SPEAKER_05]: Rowan McStay, play in solid my briar and you're so right.

[SPEAKER_05]: My mangoes deserve gentle caresses because they're beautiful fruits.

[SPEAKER_05]: Honestly, my anthropomorphize inanimate objects and like fruits.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's like just everything so much that I would spank it and then feel really bad.

[SPEAKER_12]: Next, Max Weinberg.

[SPEAKER_12]: Oh, I'm surprised to be in the middle.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Max Weinberg playing Wyatt Forsyth and Wyatt absolutely spanks his mangoes.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God.

[SPEAKER_01]: I hate all of this.

[SPEAKER_02]: All right, it could be whatever you want to.

[SPEAKER_12]: And last and certainly not least, Robin Lengen Hop.

[SPEAKER_07]: My name is Robin Lengen Hop and how did I get here?

[SPEAKER_07]: I'm done.

[SPEAKER_07]: What?

[SPEAKER_07]: I'm step time I take in on my journey to leave me to this place.

[SPEAKER_12]: listen, the mangoes know what they did.

[SPEAKER_05]: You can spank my mangoes any time you like.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know how you turned into a sex thing.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think it started that way.

[SPEAKER_02]: No one has said it's a sex thing.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: You're the one who's made it a sex thing.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_05]: Who's ready to play?

[SPEAKER_05]: Who's ready to spank the proverbial mango of this episode?

[SPEAKER_05]: You'll remember where we left all right.

[SPEAKER_05]: How are we going to get back to that from this?

[SPEAKER_05]: It's actually so dire, but yeah.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, one hundred percent.

[SPEAKER_12]: Well, that's that dire with that let's dive right in to the man goes Last time on major and high five [SPEAKER_12]: The group continued through Facts' labyrinthine library.

[SPEAKER_12]: After finding Liesander strapped the table of a dissection theatre, Solomon drimped her way back stage.

[SPEAKER_12]: Only to find herself perilously dangling above an abyss.

[SPEAKER_12]: Wyatt sang a bridge into existence to save her, aided by Hayden on Maggie's drums.

[SPEAKER_12]: However, they were interrupted by the arrival of facts, who demanded the group's fealty, while Barabas, unbeknownst to facts, began freeing licender.

[SPEAKER_12]: A fight broke out, and when we last left off, facts was dangling white above an abyss.

[SPEAKER_12]: Where you are now?

[SPEAKER_12]: Wyatt, you are paralyzed.

[SPEAKER_12]: As Fax used his telekinetic rate to pick you up and move you out over the abyss.

[SPEAKER_12]: Solomon Hayden, you see Wyatt dangling over the open air as Fax moves to drop him.

[SPEAKER_12]: Solomon, it's your turn.

[SPEAKER_05]: Shit.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to make for that spiral staircase.

[SPEAKER_12]: The spiral staircase is fifteen feet away, so you exit the anti-magic cone by going to it.

[SPEAKER_05]: Why it is dangling over in a bit?

[SPEAKER_12]: Uh-huh.

[SPEAKER_05]: Great.

[SPEAKER_05]: We can't have that.

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_05]: I am gonna use my action to take out ironwood and cast thorn whip on Wyatt.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's cool.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's great.

[SPEAKER_05]: We're trying to try to, like, last moment.

[SPEAKER_02]: You have advantage.

[SPEAKER_05]: Are you giving me?

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm paralyzed.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, he's paralyzed.

[SPEAKER_02]: So you get advantage on a paralyzed target.

[SPEAKER_02]: You also auto crit.

[SPEAKER_02]: I think if you do auto crit.

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_05]: That's fine.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's better than having a dead and fallen over in a best.

[SPEAKER_05]: Sorry, kid.

[SPEAKER_05]: That's a twenty.

[SPEAKER_05]: five to hit.

[SPEAKER_12]: Great, roll, crit damage.

[SPEAKER_05]: Fourteen damage?

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I think you saw the major reaches for Ironwood like tries for the first time to last a while in with a Thornwip successfully draws him ten feet toward her, but now he's bleeding.

[SPEAKER_12]: Technically he is in the grip of the beholder, so I will need you to make a strength contest against the beholder.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, hell.

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_05]: Fifteen.

[SPEAKER_12]: You pull, you pull, and why it pulls ten feet closer.

[SPEAKER_12]: He is still dangling over the abyss.

[SPEAKER_12]: However, he is out of the beholder's grasp.

[SPEAKER_02]: Great.

[SPEAKER_02]: Just fall.

[SPEAKER_02]: You do fall.

[SPEAKER_12]: You look a fishing line.

[SPEAKER_12]: You do fall like fifteen feet and hit the side of the stage.

[SPEAKER_12]: And so you are just hanging over the abyss right now.

[SPEAKER_05]: Sorry, kid.

[SPEAKER_12]: Love this for me and be cut anything else on your turn.

[SPEAKER_05]: I I guess start going up the staircase as much as I can.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: Drag it with drag it.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_12]: The thorn with wraps around the spiral staircase as you go.

[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_06]: Great.

[SPEAKER_12]: You keep it as a paralyzed-wise, smacks each step that's well-billed with solomates.

[SPEAKER_05]: Perfect.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_12]: Uh, cool.

[SPEAKER_12]: Anything else?

[UNKNOWN]: Nope.

[SPEAKER_12]: Great.

[SPEAKER_12]: Have an IRA.

[SPEAKER_05]: Permit?

[SPEAKER_12]: Just for you.

[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, we're still saying it through.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, we're at fun.

[SPEAKER_05]: How does a twenty-five treat you?

[SPEAKER_12]: You feel, you feel that same, roiling, feeling in your gut, and you're able to suppress it again.

[SPEAKER_05]: Facts, do you have a bathroom in this dream library?

[SPEAKER_05]: and like ten minutes.

[SPEAKER_02]: You might want to.

[SPEAKER_02]: You might, I would kind of recommend you getting a bathroom for her.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you might want to, just for your own library, say, because I feel something in me.

[SPEAKER_07]: I know I'm paralyzed, but I'd recommend it.

[SPEAKER_07]: Something's cooking.

[SPEAKER_07]: You should spend your turn contraing a toilet.

[SPEAKER_03]: I will burn this place with you in it.

[SPEAKER_02]: There's a toilet.

[SPEAKER_02]: And it is very safe.

[SPEAKER_02]: And it's very safe.

[SPEAKER_12]: Oh, why it is your turn.

[SPEAKER_12]: So what can I do?

[SPEAKER_12]: You actually need you need to make another constitution saving throw.

[SPEAKER_02]: Is that at the beginning or the end of my turn?

[SPEAKER_02]: That is at the end of your turn.

[SPEAKER_02]: But I get blessed and oral.

[SPEAKER_05]: Correct.

[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I'm not ten feet from you anymore.

[SPEAKER_05]: So just bless.

[SPEAKER_05]: All right.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's a not one.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, shit, Wyatt.

[SPEAKER_02]: You stay paralyzed.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, honey.

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of nice not having to worry about anything.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, Wyatt.

[SPEAKER_05]: You know, honey.

[SPEAKER_05]: Somebody get him.

[SPEAKER_12]: Hayden, it is your turn.

[SPEAKER_08]: All right.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm gonna start running up the stairs as soon as I get close enough to reach Wyatt.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm gonna extend one hand out, touch Wyatt's hand, and cast lesser restoration.

[SPEAKER_05]: Do we have to pull Wyatt up or is Wyatt back up on a platform somewhere?

[SPEAKER_12]: Wyatt, you ran up the staircase a little bit, which wasn't enough to pull Wyatt back onto solid ground.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh great, okay.

[SPEAKER_05]: That's such a funny image.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, the reason I did so much damage to him is because I just dug into him and dragged him across a stage.

[SPEAKER_05]: So why?

[SPEAKER_08]: I grab Wyatt's hand.

[SPEAKER_08]: breathe some life back into him with my magic.

[SPEAKER_08]: And I say, hey kiddo, we're not done with you yet.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, thank you.

[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_02]: All right.

[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I said, no, no.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, we'll get there.

[SPEAKER_12]: No, I'm just anything else hidden.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's all I can do.

[SPEAKER_12]: Great.

[SPEAKER_12]: Have an eye ray.

[SPEAKER_12]: Roll a deck save.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't like that you do this.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's very nice.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm giving gifts.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, and you're next to me, so you get a plus tens of that.

[SPEAKER_05]: Or a plus five to that.

[SPEAKER_08]: Twenty-three plus the blast makes it a twenty-four.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh my god.

[SPEAKER_12]: Fine.

[SPEAKER_12]: Take eighteen points of force damage.

[SPEAKER_05]: I would prefer not to.

[SPEAKER_05]: What's this Ray do, Casey?

[SPEAKER_12]: I'm not telling you.

[SPEAKER_05]: Find out.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm asking for a narrative description.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm asking you to skip your hand you button.

[SPEAKER_12]: Okay, fine.

[SPEAKER_12]: You see a you see a deep gray ray form around you and then you hit you [SPEAKER_12]: You take less damage because you're able to shrug out of the way at the last second, but you still take half of its damage.

[SPEAKER_05]: All right, I'm not feeling good friends.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, if anybody's got any kind of like mass heels, I think now it'd be the time.

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, my mass heels are not good, but I can do them.

[SPEAKER_12]: Great.

[SPEAKER_12]: And now, the layer, you see for the top, for the top fifty feet of the spiral staircase, the ground sticks around your feet.

[SPEAKER_12]: You feel it, you feel it a struggle to walk with each step.

[SPEAKER_12]: And that becomes difficult terrain for the next round.

[SPEAKER_12]: Uh, next knee order is Winona.

[SPEAKER_12]: Winona peeks out from behind the chair and says, uh, do I draw critter?

[SPEAKER_05]: Can you draw?

[SPEAKER_05]: I gave you that.

[SPEAKER_05]: You don't even have to draw a critter.

[SPEAKER_05]: Just use the book.

[SPEAKER_12]: Are you sure?

[SPEAKER_12]: Use it.

[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, make something.

[SPEAKER_05]: Make something that could squeeze him.

[SPEAKER_05]: Stop him from moving.

[SPEAKER_12]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_12]: Draw up the bar.

[SPEAKER_01]: She's a big old snake.

[SPEAKER_12]: opens the, she opens the snake book.

[SPEAKER_12]: She concentrates on the book holds it above her head.

[SPEAKER_12]: Ugh.

[SPEAKER_12]: And then you hear Faxco watch as a snake wraps around his body.

[SPEAKER_12]: The snake does not hit.

[SPEAKER_12]: And we're known to hide again.

[SPEAKER_08]: Well, name is Sasha.

[SPEAKER_08]: After the grass, dude.

[SPEAKER_12]: Great.

[SPEAKER_12]: It is Barabas's turn.

[SPEAKER_08]: Barabas, where are you?

[SPEAKER_12]: Barabas does not appear yet.

[SPEAKER_12]: However, you hear a chorus of...

And then, from the cracks between the pillars, from all directions, swarms of bats.

[SPEAKER_12]: Just...

Begin swirling around facts.

[SPEAKER_12]: And he shouts, what is happening?

[SPEAKER_12]: Fly puppies!

[SPEAKER_12]: He lures and says, you would call her men to your fight, you roaches.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, that little one looks like it's foaming at the mouth.

[SPEAKER_05]: You might want to get that checked out.

[SPEAKER_02]: Now known to carry rabies.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: You're really old.

[SPEAKER_02]: Can you hear that high pitch sound coming from them?

[SPEAKER_02]: And by the way, he's on the ground.

[SPEAKER_02]: Because it's kind of really annoying.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's all about what happens to him.

[SPEAKER_05]: You can hear that either?

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, hell.

[SPEAKER_12]: Solomon, he focuses his large central eye on you again.

[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, I'm at all.

[SPEAKER_05]: All right.

[SPEAKER_12]: And bless is suppressed once more.

[SPEAKER_12]: Along with your aura.

[SPEAKER_12]: You can't stop my aura.

[SPEAKER_12]: So this is going to be two against Hayden one against Wyatt.

[SPEAKER_05]: Damn.

[SPEAKER_12]: Why it?

[SPEAKER_12]: I need you.

[SPEAKER_12]: Ooh, do you have something against charm?

[SPEAKER_12]: Yes, I do, baby.

[SPEAKER_12]: Hmm.

[SPEAKER_12]: It's advantage.

[SPEAKER_12]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_12]: Make a wisdom saving throw.

[SPEAKER_12]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: With advantage.

[SPEAKER_02]: What I'm good at.

[SPEAKER_12]: Hayden.

[SPEAKER_12]: Make a dex save and a strength save.

[SPEAKER_12]: Whew, all right.

[SPEAKER_12]: Why it?

[SPEAKER_12]: Twenty one.

[SPEAKER_12]: the one you for a moment, look at facts and you're like, oh, he needs help.

[SPEAKER_12]: He's being sworn by critters.

[SPEAKER_05]: I could fix it.

[SPEAKER_12]: And then you're able to shake it off.

[SPEAKER_12]: Who's that?

[SPEAKER_02]: This is, this is a, with what Solomon is doing and what I'm feeling, this is a room of weird sensations.

[SPEAKER_02]: What are you doing?

[SPEAKER_05]: A room of weird sensations is the episode title.

[SPEAKER_05]: Fox is a room of weird sensations.

[SPEAKER_07]: What did the children series never took off?

[SPEAKER_07]: Starring Alan coming.

[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like that might be an Alan Rickman kind of guy.

[SPEAKER_02]: You're sorry.

[SPEAKER_02]: Hayden, how'd you do?

[SPEAKER_08]: decks, twenty-three.

[SPEAKER_12]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_08]: Strength, ten.

[SPEAKER_12]: Great.

[SPEAKER_12]: On a decks, you take twenty-two points of necrotic damage as a black beam hits you.

[SPEAKER_12]: And then the strength was how much?

[SPEAKER_04]: Ten.

[SPEAKER_12]: Ten.

[SPEAKER_12]: You suddenly freeze up as you are restrained.

[SPEAKER_12]: And then you are pulled off of the spiral staircase.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh shit, okay.

[SPEAKER_12]: Facts grins and moves you thirty feet so that you are at the edge of the stage.

[SPEAKER_12]: You're not over it, but you're right there.

[SPEAKER_08]: What do you at HP was?

[SPEAKER_08]: Basically nothing.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm at eight.

[SPEAKER_12]: Great.

[SPEAKER_08]: So happy now.

[SPEAKER_12]: Facts is feeling good.

[SPEAKER_12]: Solomon, it is your turn.

[SPEAKER_05]: All right, is there a way to continue up the spiral staircase while getting out of this anti-magic gaze?

[SPEAKER_12]: You are in difficult terrain.

[SPEAKER_05]: So you're using my whole movement.

[SPEAKER_12]: If you use your whole movement, you will move the fifteen feet to be at the edge of the cone.

[SPEAKER_12]: It lasts fifteen feet.

[SPEAKER_12]: I say you are at the edge of it, but you're still in it.

[SPEAKER_05]: All right.

[SPEAKER_05]: Sure, then I will take a full dash action to get to I don't know does that bring me to the top of the spiral staircase or near the top?

[SPEAKER_05]: It gives me out of the range, right?

[SPEAKER_12]: It gets you to the top of the spiral staircase because it's sixty feet.

[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm like out of eye with facts now.

[SPEAKER_12]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_05]: To odd, to odd, to odd, to odd.

[SPEAKER_12]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_05]: Great.

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_05]: Then in that case, if I'm out of the anti-magic sort of area at that point, I will then cast sanctuary on Hayden, if I can, that's thirty feet away.

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, you can sure it will be very helpful.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I'm gonna get to, this is not a concentration spell, so concentration's still up on blast.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to cast sanctuary on Hayden, which means that when anyone targets Hayden with an attack or harmful spell has to make a wisdom save on a failed save, they have to choose a new target or lose the attack or spell.

[SPEAKER_12]: Great.

[SPEAKER_12]: Anything else?

[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, Facts, is this fight getting boring for you?

[SPEAKER_05]: You want play game?

[SPEAKER_03]: He says this is a game.

[SPEAKER_03]: I peel your flesh off your bones.

[SPEAKER_05]: Sounds good to me.

[SPEAKER_05]: What about we play twenty questions, too?

[SPEAKER_05]: Can I ask you some questions?

[SPEAKER_05]: You can answer him while we're playing?

[SPEAKER_12]: He looks genuinely confused and says, ah, a man such as yourself should love to share his knowledge.

[SPEAKER_02]: If you think this will distract me, you are wrong.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know at all.

[SPEAKER_05]: I just got some questions I'm curious about before you, you know, skin me a love.

[SPEAKER_03]: Bye.

[SPEAKER_03]: Ask.

[SPEAKER_05]: Where would I find a book about a gunslinger who killed their partner?

[SPEAKER_03]: You ask for one grain of sand on a vast beach.

[SPEAKER_03]: Clarify, Roach.

[SPEAKER_03]: I've read a lot of those.

[SPEAKER_05]: True story, name of the famous gunslinger.

[SPEAKER_05]: Partner was a shopkeeper.

[SPEAKER_12]: Why it, it is your turn.

[SPEAKER_02]: I haven't read any of those, Miss Solomon.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, let's see if we can get your read them.

[SPEAKER_02]: How's Fax looking?

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Fax is looking bloody.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: Why it's gonna start singing?

[SPEAKER_02]: That says, there's a bright light in your eye.

[SPEAKER_02]: There's a bright light which casts the sacred flame cantrip right in fax's eye.

[SPEAKER_02]: Great.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I'll leave a day from fax.

[SPEAKER_05]: Why, do you should get out your harmonica?

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, maybe on my next song.

[SPEAKER_02]: That fails.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: So because of one of my abilities, it's three D eight.

[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, seventeen.

[SPEAKER_12]: Oh, that's a big hit.

[SPEAKER_12]: Flames erupt in front of him and he.

[SPEAKER_02]: And then I will use a fourth level spell slot to cast healing word.

[SPEAKER_02]: I hate you.

[SPEAKER_02]: Which is going to be I hope you're feeling better because this song will help you.

[UNKNOWN]: You're feeling better.

[SPEAKER_05]: Maggie's gonna be so proud of you.

[SPEAKER_02]: Because this song will help you.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's seventeen health to Hayden.

[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, Kylie.

[SPEAKER_07]: And that's my turn.

[SPEAKER_12]: Great.

[SPEAKER_12]: Uh, Fax is going to take a legendary action against you, Solomon, and he is going to bite you twice.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, oh, damn.

[SPEAKER_05]: I didn't know you could do that.

[SPEAKER_05]: Shit.

[SPEAKER_05]: Ow.

[SPEAKER_05]: It was wrong with you.

[SPEAKER_12]: That is a twenty one and a twenty three.

[SPEAKER_05]: Hmm.

[SPEAKER_05]: All right.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm gonna cast shield on myself so at least the twenty one doesn't hit the twenty three does.

[SPEAKER_12]: Great.

[SPEAKER_12]: You're going to take thirteen points of piercing damage.

[SPEAKER_12]: That's long hooked teeth.

[SPEAKER_12]: Stab into your flesh.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, ew, don't bite me.

[SPEAKER_05]: You have rabies.

[SPEAKER_05]: You have rabies?

[SPEAKER_05]: Facts has rabies.

[SPEAKER_05]: Look, he got bit by a bat.

[SPEAKER_05]: That little one's foaming at the mouth.

[SPEAKER_05]: I told you.

[SPEAKER_02]: Winona, do you know that Facts has rabies?

[SPEAKER_12]: Winona peaks out and goes, I didn't even know his kind could get rabies.

[SPEAKER_12]: And then ducks.

[SPEAKER_12]: And all eleven of Facts' eyes roll.

[SPEAKER_05]: You're out of the oil.

[SPEAKER_05]: The anti-magic cone moves.

[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_12]: Hayden.

[SPEAKER_12]: So you're still restrained on your turn.

[SPEAKER_08]: All right.

[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, your attack rolls have disadvantage.

[SPEAKER_08]: My attack rolls have disadvantage.

[SPEAKER_08]: All right.

[SPEAKER_12]: Because you're restrained.

[SPEAKER_08]: I'm going to use Glitter Baby for my first attack to undo that disadvantage.

[SPEAKER_12]: This fight's crunchy y'all.

[SPEAKER_08]: Truly the lucky shots out of bullets.

[SPEAKER_08]: So I'm gonna pocket that for now.

[SPEAKER_08]: Pull out the crossbow and fireray with that.

[SPEAKER_12]: Great.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's sixteen to hit.

[SPEAKER_12]: A sixteen does not hit.

[SPEAKER_08]: All right.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's a big fleshy eyeball.

[SPEAKER_08]: Fire and again with disadvantage.

[SPEAKER_12]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_08]: Go to town.

[SPEAKER_08]: That is a thirty to hit.

[SPEAKER_05]: With disadvantage, that's crazy.

[SPEAKER_08]: With, I got a net twenty and an eighteen.

[SPEAKER_05]: Whoo.

[SPEAKER_12]: Oh my, they are at.

[SPEAKER_12]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, that hits a little bit.

[SPEAKER_08]: And I will use my dreadful strike ability to add an extra defore of psychic damage to that attack.

[SPEAKER_08]: that is fourteen damage.

[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_08]: And for my bonus action, I'm going to cast Misty Step and get out of Fax's grip.

[SPEAKER_12]: You do as this.

[SPEAKER_12]: This is slightly whiplash moment.

[SPEAKER_12]: Do you teleport straight to the ground?

[SPEAKER_12]: Yep.

[SPEAKER_12]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_12]: You up here on the ground perfectly fine.

[SPEAKER_12]: or at least as fine as you can be with your health.

[SPEAKER_05]: I love fighting, if y'all is always so excited and unpredictable.

[SPEAKER_05]: I really miss you when I die of rabies.

[SPEAKER_08]: Don't die of rabies, I need someone to heal me.

[SPEAKER_12]: God, I have an IRA.

[SPEAKER_12]: Make a constitution saving throw Hayden.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm actually on the wisdom save.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm immune to disease actually.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think I can get rabies.

[SPEAKER_02]: Wait, roll a wisdom save.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, oh.

[SPEAKER_02]: Wisdom's actually.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, hold on.

[SPEAKER_08]: Does my attacking undo the sanctuary?

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, shit.

[SPEAKER_08]: Damn.

[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, come on.

[SPEAKER_08]: So constitution.

[SPEAKER_12]: Constitution.

[SPEAKER_12]: Twenty-two.

[SPEAKER_08]: That has been rolling.

[SPEAKER_08]: Hot today.

[SPEAKER_12]: Uh, you take a eleven points of poison damage.

[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_12]: On a success.

[SPEAKER_08]: I will cast Absorb Elements.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: That spell.

[SPEAKER_08]: So that makes it a five?

[SPEAKER_02]: Is that what that does?

[SPEAKER_02]: Absorb Elements have the damage.

[SPEAKER_02]: And then charges up their next attack.

[SPEAKER_02]: You took five damage.

[SPEAKER_05]: Fine.

[SPEAKER_12]: All right.

[SPEAKER_12]: All right.

[SPEAKER_12]: Here's a little thing for you on the Layers turn.

[SPEAKER_12]: Hayden.

[SPEAKER_12]: You are on the ground so you're the one who sees this happen actually why it you also see this because you're at the foot of the staircase you see three figures pull themselves up from the cracks in the floor these figures where dark clothes they are hooded [SPEAKER_12]: But when they look up, you see that their faces are white masks.

[SPEAKER_12]: All three of them have mouths curved into a deep grin.

[SPEAKER_12]: Their eyes are big and dark in upside down crescent moon shapes in comedy drama masks.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh God, he's got techies.

[SPEAKER_12]: and all three of them nightmares, Casey, not dreams.

[SPEAKER_12]: And all three of them attack you, Wyatt.

[SPEAKER_02]: That first one, warding flame, disadvantage.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: There's a flame in your eye.

[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, that's a Nat to one, he and it failed.

[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_12]: God.

[SPEAKER_12]: What is your AC?

[SPEAKER_12]: Seventeen.

[SPEAKER_12]: The first one does not hit.

[SPEAKER_12]: Yes, they swing their fists at you.

[SPEAKER_12]: And miss.

[SPEAKER_12]: Can't touch this.

[SPEAKER_02]: The second one.

[SPEAKER_12]: The second one fails both his attacks.

[SPEAKER_12]: Both, oh no.

[SPEAKER_12]: And the third one crits with a mat, twenty.

[SPEAKER_02]: You wouldn't punch a child.

[SPEAKER_02]: Weird, faceless person.

[SPEAKER_02]: I bet my dad would hire you.

[SPEAKER_02]: Do you need a different job?

[SPEAKER_12]: That is ten points of bludgeoning damage and ten points of psychic damage.

[SPEAKER_12]: Okay, he's from one punch, from one out of two punches.

[SPEAKER_05]: Why, I hate to break this to you, but your daddy's actually really adamant about supporting the arts being kind of unnecessary.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh.

[SPEAKER_02]: No wonder he never came to any of my concerts.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, darling.

[SPEAKER_05]: Why remind me to give you a hug when this is all over?

[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, I'll tell you what, we're picking up ant mags.

[SPEAKER_05]: We're all coming to the next one.

[SPEAKER_12]: The staircase is no longer difficult terrain as that previous layer action ended.

[SPEAKER_12]: Great.

[SPEAKER_12]: Uh, it is one known as turn.

[SPEAKER_12]: One out of peaks out and goes, uh, you want to reload my gun?

[SPEAKER_12]: Can I do that?

[SPEAKER_08]: I'll show you how.

[SPEAKER_12]: Hold on, I got to think.

[SPEAKER_08]: You wanna draw a giant, on the train, just crashing into facts?

[SPEAKER_05]: You could drop a piano on his head.

[SPEAKER_05]: Drop a piano on him.

[SPEAKER_12]: She's gonna roll a performance check.

[SPEAKER_05]: This is theater.

[SPEAKER_05]: We might as well get a little theatrical about it.

[SPEAKER_05]: Like, drop a piano on him.

[SPEAKER_02]: Could it be a chandelier?

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, he's in the mirror on his head though.

[SPEAKER_12]: I'm not joking that failed.

[SPEAKER_12]: No.

[SPEAKER_12]: That chandelier only failed.

[SPEAKER_12]: I did not shoot it down.

[SPEAKER_05]: Does the snake get to try again?

[SPEAKER_12]: The snake gets to try again.

[SPEAKER_12]: The snake also fails.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_12]: The snake is like, eh.

[SPEAKER_12]: Like, trying its best to squeeze facts.

[SPEAKER_12]: In fact, it's just isn't paying it any attention.

[SPEAKER_12]: Facts are too big for the snake to get all the way around.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, I can do something with this snake.

[SPEAKER_12]: Great.

[SPEAKER_12]: Uh, the Solome, at the top of the order, you feel a f- Oh, no, actually, what happens is you see one of the bats of the swarm flap away from the others.

[SPEAKER_12]: Lans next to you and then turns into Barabas.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, well, you are a rare bird, ain't you?

[SPEAKER_12]: How do you do that?

[SPEAKER_08]: I believe the bats are technically mammals.

[SPEAKER_12]: He grins and then unslings his sniper rifle or his long rifle from his back.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh is that the bard's brother?

[SPEAKER_02]: Barabas, we can have a concert together.

[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe that could be the next concert.

[SPEAKER_12]: Barabas raises an eyebrow at you, and the swarm of bats swoop in, and get a bunch of bites in on facts.

[SPEAKER_12]: And he's not looking great.

[SPEAKER_02]: Mr.

Fax, the longer you wait before seeking treatment after rabies increases the likelihood of it being fatal.

[SPEAKER_12]: He turns to you and goes, and shoots an eyebrow at you.

[SPEAKER_02]: Is it the water ray from his inability to swallow now?

[SPEAKER_02]: Why didn't he scare the water?

[SPEAKER_02]: Why didn't they contact saving throw?

[SPEAKER_02]: Don't know.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, don't say what happens.

[SPEAKER_02]: But does a fourteen do it with with bless Max with bless it is a fourteen I wrote a ten [SPEAKER_02]: at it a three and have plus one.

[SPEAKER_02]: The reason I ask is if it fails, I will use my fortune of the many ability, which lets me turn my embarrassment into additional points, I might save.

[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, that's so good.

[SPEAKER_02]: Which is how I've flavoring it.

[SPEAKER_12]: A fourteen would fail.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, why it starts to feel the effects of this ray.

[SPEAKER_02]: Isn't it like a blast?

[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, it is a black beam.

[SPEAKER_02]: Why it feels the reticle of Facts' eye, just like Q in right on him and goes, oh no, I'm killing my friends down.

[SPEAKER_02]: And uses his fortune from the net fortune from the many ability, which if I miss with an attack roll or fail a saving throw, I can gain a bonus to the roll equal to the number of allies I see up to three, which so I nap becomes a seventeen.

[SPEAKER_02]: A seventeen saves.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_05]: You can never let us down, honey.

[SPEAKER_12]: You take twenty-two necrotic damage.

[SPEAKER_02]: There's still a problem with that, though.

[SPEAKER_02]: How much health do you have?

[SPEAKER_02]: Twenty-two?

[SPEAKER_02]: No.

[SPEAKER_12]: Why it?

[SPEAKER_12]: You fall.

[SPEAKER_12]: Everything happens in slow motion as your body collapses.

[SPEAKER_12]: And you feel your heart stop.

[SPEAKER_12]: No dropping to unconsciousness.

[SPEAKER_12]: No death saves.

[SPEAKER_12]: The moment this ray hits you, your heart goes still.

[SPEAKER_12]: As this is fact's death ray.

[SPEAKER_12]: the world fades.

[SPEAKER_12]: And the last thing you hear is facts growing in victory.

[SPEAKER_12]: That was the legendary action on Barabas' turn.

[SPEAKER_12]: It is now Facts' turn.

[SPEAKER_12]: Facts, smiles, turns to you, Salme.

[SPEAKER_12]: and says, one, roach, down, three, two, go.

[SPEAKER_12]: And then he is going to bite you twice.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so I'll always just been staring horrified at Wyatt, and as soon as Vax starts toward her, she turns to face him with Briar's already growing about a first sword.

[SPEAKER_12]: That is a twenty-eight to hit on the first one.

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_12]: And a nineteen to hit on the second one.

[SPEAKER_05]: The nineteen because I still have field up will miss.

[SPEAKER_12]: He sinks his teeth into you and you take thirteen points of piercing damage.

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_12]: He grins and then drops thirty feet down the spiral staircase.

[SPEAKER_12]: Solomon, it is your turn.

[SPEAKER_05]: I look at Barabas and say, Barabas, I have heard stories.

[SPEAKER_05]: I think I know what you are.

[SPEAKER_05]: You have a way to save him.

[SPEAKER_05]: You have to do it.

[SPEAKER_12]: He has one eye in the barrel in the scope of his long rifle.

[SPEAKER_12]: He says, I ain't doing that to the boy.

[SPEAKER_05]: Barabas, you have to.

[SPEAKER_05]: We have no other way to help him.

[SPEAKER_05]: We cannot lose him.

[SPEAKER_05]: We will figure it out.

[SPEAKER_12]: He shakes his head and says, [SPEAKER_12]: I ain't cursing him.

[SPEAKER_12]: He's better dead.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, sure he would even want that?

[SPEAKER_05]: It don't matter.

[SPEAKER_05]: We will figure it out.

[SPEAKER_12]: He whirls on you.

[SPEAKER_12]: You see his teeth, lengthen his canines.

[SPEAKER_12]: And he looks demonic.

[SPEAKER_12]: And he says, you can't tell me what to do.

[SPEAKER_10]: You don't know.

[SPEAKER_05]: Salmi stares down Barabas.

[SPEAKER_05]: As he starts to change, and for a second, it looks like she is about to physically fight him on this.

[SPEAKER_05]: And then she says, I don't have time for this.

[SPEAKER_05]: I will fight you on this later, Barabas.

[SPEAKER_05]: And she runs down the spiral staircase, tears streaming down her face, and goes to attack facts for whatever that is worth.

[SPEAKER_12]: As you descend, [SPEAKER_12]: I'll give you this one.

[SPEAKER_12]: Roll a persuasion check.

[SPEAKER_12]: But the check will be high.

[SPEAKER_05]: In that case, then I'm going to use my channel divinity to give myself a plus five to persuasion.

[SPEAKER_08]: That's the time.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's only a sixteen.

[SPEAKER_05]: I rolled a two.

[SPEAKER_12]: Barabas returns his eye to the scope.

[SPEAKER_12]: Solomon, as you descend, the world craze.

[SPEAKER_12]: You see a figure.

[SPEAKER_12]: With tassled hat.

[SPEAKER_12]: Moving towards what?

[SPEAKER_05]: V, please wait.

[SPEAKER_05]: Just wait a second, please.

[SPEAKER_12]: V does not heed what you say.

[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to try to help him, please.

[SPEAKER_12]: Is that the end of your turn?

[SPEAKER_05]: No, I attack Vx.

[SPEAKER_12]: Attack Vx.

[SPEAKER_05]: That is a...

fifteen and a twenty-six to hit.

[SPEAKER_12]: The twenty-six hits.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't have blessed on me so I can't make that better.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I'll throw a second level smile onto it.

[SPEAKER_05]: Thirty damage.

[SPEAKER_12]: Facts begins to falter in the air.

[SPEAKER_12]: You see his tentacles wave erratically.

[SPEAKER_12]: His eyelid droops and his breathing becomes haggard.

[SPEAKER_12]: And he says, this is not my end.

[SPEAKER_05]: I grab facts by the nearest eye stalk, drive a sword into him, briar starts scratching at the courty as of his eyes and up into his eyelids, and with every intention of catching these attention, I say, before you die, the story of the gunslinger and the shopkeeper, where will I find it?

[SPEAKER_12]: You see the freeze.

[SPEAKER_12]: And facts.

[SPEAKER_12]: rolls his eye to you and says, if I die, you will never find it.

[SPEAKER_12]: For it is here.

[SPEAKER_12]: His eye stalks justured broadly.

[SPEAKER_03]: In my library, in my world of dreams and what do you think happens to a dream world when the dreamer dies?

[SPEAKER_05]: I guess we'll have to find out.

[SPEAKER_12]: You see.

[SPEAKER_12]: Facts.

[SPEAKER_12]: Freeze.

[SPEAKER_12]: His eye twitches.

[SPEAKER_12]: And you think it might be fear.

[SPEAKER_05]: Good.

[SPEAKER_05]: We will find out what happens to a dreamer when it dies.

[SPEAKER_05]: Roach.

[UNKNOWN]: No.

[SPEAKER_12]: You see one of his eye stalks turned to you and fire a beam.

[SPEAKER_12]: Make a deck safe.

[SPEAKER_00]: Twenty one.

[SPEAKER_12]: How much health do you have?

[SPEAKER_00]: Twenty one.

[SPEAKER_12]: You take eighteen points of force damage.

[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_11]: He says we shall see who dies here.

[SPEAKER_11]: Why it?

[SPEAKER_11]: It is dark.

[SPEAKER_11]: And it's cold.

[SPEAKER_12]: And as you sit, you're not quite sure how you got here.

[SPEAKER_12]: You try and think back, but you're not.

[SPEAKER_12]: You're not sure.

[SPEAKER_12]: And then you feel a heat.

[SPEAKER_12]: Growing.

[SPEAKER_12]: Until it almost becomes unbearable.

[SPEAKER_12]: It's behind you.

[SPEAKER_12]: Do you turn?

[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_12]: look.

[SPEAKER_12]: And before you is a lion.

[SPEAKER_12]: The lion is at least twenty feet tall.

[SPEAKER_12]: It towers over you.

[SPEAKER_12]: It's tail flex wildly.

[SPEAKER_12]: Sparks fly from the end.

[SPEAKER_12]: It's fur courses and waves of heat.

[SPEAKER_12]: yellows and oranges and reds course through its body, but its mane and its head are not there.

[SPEAKER_12]: Instead, there is a brilliant fire where its head and its mane would be.

[SPEAKER_12]: and it looks at you, Wyatt.

[SPEAKER_12]: Sorry, he looks at you, Wyatt.

[SPEAKER_12]: And then slowly he whoop.

[SPEAKER_12]: Collapses to one side and then whoop.

[SPEAKER_12]: Collapses to the other, and he lays in front of you, and he is eyed eye with you, where he to have lives.

[SPEAKER_12]: What do you do?

[SPEAKER_02]: Um, hello?

[SPEAKER_12]: You hear, [SPEAKER_12]: of breath, but he says nothing.

[SPEAKER_02]: Do you, do you know where I am?

[SPEAKER_12]: The beast looks down at a massive paw the size of your head.

[SPEAKER_12]: You see, it's talent's extend, and it scratches the floor in front of you.

[SPEAKER_12]: But says nothing.

[SPEAKER_02]: Did, did I die?

[SPEAKER_12]: You see him begin to move his head towards you.

[SPEAKER_12]: As he does, the heat becomes intense.

[SPEAKER_12]: And then, he tenses up.

[SPEAKER_12]: He rocks back and roars, and the roar is cuckophonous.

[SPEAKER_12]: You see him turn [SPEAKER_12]: and smash one of his paws into his side.

[SPEAKER_12]: You see him slam his head around into his side.

[SPEAKER_12]: You feel, it's as if a, it's like when an animal has an open wound and they bite at it and they claw at it as if that will help.

[SPEAKER_02]: Wait, let, let me, let me help.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I reach out a hand to try to, he was too, he roars in you.

[SPEAKER_12]: He makes no move to stop you, but he roars out of fear.

[SPEAKER_02]: As Wyatt touches the beast in front of him, he starts to release just a flow of the soothing heat of his healing magic into him.

[SPEAKER_12]: You place your hand on his side, and as you do, you look, and you see a place [SPEAKER_12]: that stands out in his flesh.

[SPEAKER_12]: About a foot away from your hand, you see a place that looks like cracked earth.

[SPEAKER_12]: The glorious fur no longer grows there.

[SPEAKER_12]: It is parched, it is cracked, and at its center is an amulet.

[SPEAKER_12]: And as you go to heal the flame, you hear a voice, and the amulet pulses.

[SPEAKER_12]: And it says, wait.

[SPEAKER_12]: Don't die.

[SPEAKER_10]: How?

[SPEAKER_04]: Use me.

[SPEAKER_04]: And together.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, live safely forever.

[SPEAKER_04]: You will go home.

[SPEAKER_12]: And as it says that, Hayden, it is your turn.

[SPEAKER_08]: Hayden, watching this kid die, [SPEAKER_08]: Watching another kid die is starting to well-up with panic.

[SPEAKER_08]: Looks up at Barabas and says, it's about, I don't know what's all the mace talking about.

[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know what she's saying.

[SPEAKER_08]: Do you have a wave helping the kid?

[SPEAKER_05]: He's lying to you if he says he doesn't.

[SPEAKER_12]: Barabas, I and his scope says nothing.

[SPEAKER_08]: If it's worse than being dead, I believe you, just say it.

[SPEAKER_08]: Is it worse?

[SPEAKER_12]: He sighs, and you almost can't hear him as he says, I wish I were dead.

[SPEAKER_08]: Guess I've only got one option then.

[SPEAKER_08]: Jack, I want to make a deal.

[SPEAKER_12]: Your voice echoes, and you hear I, [SPEAKER_10]: So quick to come crawling back to me.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, you know I just want to see a pretty little face again.

[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, like you don't want nothing.

[SPEAKER_08]: Of course I want something.

[SPEAKER_09]: I tell you, that's all people want from me these days.

[SPEAKER_09]: No, no, no, no.

[SPEAKER_09]: Nobody just calls to say hi.

[SPEAKER_08]: Look, I'd happily bend to back and forth with you any other time, but I don't know what kind of time I got right now.

[SPEAKER_08]: So just let me put an off on the table and you tell me what you think.

[SPEAKER_08]: All right.

[SPEAKER_09]: Do it.

[SPEAKER_08]: I've seen too many kids die in front of me.

[SPEAKER_08]: Do you even have the power to bring him back from the other side of the river?

[SPEAKER_10]: My feet are fleet child.

[SPEAKER_10]: All right.

[SPEAKER_10]: You think all V can stop me.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh.

[SPEAKER_08]: And here's my offer.

[SPEAKER_08]: You bring life back.

[SPEAKER_08]: The new crew, why it?

[SPEAKER_08]: Look, I would have made a promise to you, and to solemnly, to the bad lands, to deal with this roader problem that we got.

[SPEAKER_08]: And I know you want me to stay on that mission.

[SPEAKER_08]: But I promise you, that if you bring why back, you will have another pet.

[SPEAKER_08]: By the time this is all over.

[SPEAKER_10]: You promised me your responsibility.

[SPEAKER_07]: You don't want it?

[SPEAKER_10]: I do want it.

[SPEAKER_12]: Roll a persuasion check.

[SPEAKER_08]: All right.

[SPEAKER_08]: I rolled a six plus sixteen for a twenty two.

[SPEAKER_12]: Jack chuckles.

[SPEAKER_12]: And says you dare ask me for the old Jack special.

[SPEAKER_08]: All about a good, right?

[SPEAKER_10]: Uh...

Sweet in the pot.

[SPEAKER_10]: I want a favor.

[SPEAKER_10]: Blank, check.

[SPEAKER_10]: Done.

[SPEAKER_10]: He he he.

[SPEAKER_10]: Done?

[SPEAKER_10]: Blankjack and Pit.

[SPEAKER_10]: That's right.

[SPEAKER_10]: One Jack special coming up.

[SPEAKER_10]: Ooh, I'm gonna have to remember how to do this.

[SPEAKER_12]: I've only ever done it once.

[SPEAKER_12]: It is the layers turn now.

[SPEAKER_12]: Hayden, you see the three.

[SPEAKER_12]: Let's call them phantoms.

[SPEAKER_12]: with grinning masks, stare at why it's body and then turn and look at you.

[SPEAKER_12]: God, I forgot about them.

[SPEAKER_12]: Get the techies.

[SPEAKER_12]: They run you.

[SPEAKER_12]: And they're going to attack.

[SPEAKER_08]: This is bad folks.

[SPEAKER_12]: I shit you not.

[SPEAKER_12]: All three of them miss.

[SPEAKER_06]: You see.

[SPEAKER_12]: them all swing at you and miss each punch.

[SPEAKER_12]: And as you do, you watch their smiling masks collapse into tragedy masks.

[SPEAKER_12]: Okay, that's kind of fun.

[SPEAKER_12]: Roll it for a set of check.

[SPEAKER_09]: Eighteen.

[SPEAKER_12]: With an eighteen.

[SPEAKER_12]: Hayden, you're close enough.

[SPEAKER_12]: You watch as their masks change.

[SPEAKER_12]: They aren't masks.

[SPEAKER_12]: These are their faces.

[SPEAKER_12]: Pale, white, skin.

[SPEAKER_12]: Deep, black eyes.

[SPEAKER_12]: And the ability to change their features at command.

[SPEAKER_12]: You know who they are.

[SPEAKER_08]: Wait, wait.

[SPEAKER_08]: Ah, and if you name Q, I know Lala Braia.

[SPEAKER_12]: They look at each other.

[SPEAKER_12]: And you don't see recognition in their eyes.

[SPEAKER_08]: Fat spawn players.

[SPEAKER_08]: Anything.

[SPEAKER_12]: Something's weird.

[SPEAKER_12]: They aren't acknowledging what you're saying.

[SPEAKER_12]: As if they've been told not to.

[SPEAKER_12]: It's what it's when owners turn.

[SPEAKER_12]: When owner looks at you Hayden says, what'll it be?

[SPEAKER_08]: Winona sees, just bewildered desperation in their eyes.

[SPEAKER_08]: And they say, I don't know girl.

[SPEAKER_12]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_12]: I'm gonna try and imagine something.

[SPEAKER_12]: She takes the paintbrush, drops down, and then thinks, and you see a piano appear above facts.

[SPEAKER_12]: And facts, and facts, looks at you, Solomon, and says, I will rip the lives of your buddies.

[SPEAKER_03]: I will kill all of you, and then when I harness rodus power for myself, I will know what I am.

[SPEAKER_12]: and then a piano smashes.

[SPEAKER_12]: You, you just beat once, I want second.

[SPEAKER_12]: He's there next second.

[SPEAKER_12]: You just see something crash through him.

[SPEAKER_12]: He smashes to the ground and there is a piano on top of him.

[SPEAKER_12]: Is he still alive?

[SPEAKER_12]: That's a good question.

[SPEAKER_02]: How much damage does a piano do?

[SPEAKER_08]: Fifteen D ten.

[SPEAKER_02]: Fifteen D ten?

[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_02]: Twenty D twenty.

[SPEAKER_07]: Robert's making this up.

[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_07]: Why did you think that was genuine?

[SPEAKER_02]: I was so scared.

[SPEAKER_06]: I was so scared.

[SPEAKER_02]: Casey, here's the thing.

[SPEAKER_02]: If it's a Yamaha electric keyboard, it's only sixty-six, but if it's a Steinway grand, it's fifteen.

[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, that's cool.

[SPEAKER_12]: Quit it.

[SPEAKER_12]: The piano smashes.

[SPEAKER_12]: There is a pile of piano bits on the floor.

[SPEAKER_12]: It lays motionless.

[SPEAKER_12]: You don't know whether facts is dead.

[SPEAKER_12]: It's Barabas's turn.

[SPEAKER_12]: On that, he sees the piano appear and smash through facts.

[SPEAKER_12]: He leaps from the top.

[SPEAKER_12]: of the spiral staircase and boom, hits the ground next to why it.

[SPEAKER_12]: Looks up at you, Solomon.

[SPEAKER_12]: And tips his head.

[SPEAKER_05]: I just make eye contact with him.

[SPEAKER_12]: And then he starts striding to the back of the room.

[SPEAKER_05]: Barabas.

[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to figure out how to bring this kid back, but I want words with you.

[SPEAKER_05]: You coward.

[SPEAKER_12]: He stops.

[SPEAKER_12]: for a moment, and then continues.

[SPEAKER_12]: He exits out the back of the auditorium with the bag of holding slung around his neck.

[SPEAKER_12]: Solomon, it's your turn.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm a little worried that he's holding an action, and I have three HP.

[SPEAKER_05]: I think I walked on the staircase and get [SPEAKER_05]: not quite within range of facts.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I kind of just want to crouch on the ground and look to see if his eyes are moving.

[SPEAKER_12]: Without a perception check, he lays still.

[SPEAKER_05]: On, no matter.

[SPEAKER_05]: I guess I gotta do everything around here.

[SPEAKER_05]: I look at facts and pull out Thaddeus's gun.

[SPEAKER_05]: Say you took our boy from us.

[SPEAKER_05]: Do you think we care if you find out who you are, I already know what you are, you are a tyrant, you are a coward, and you are a fool, and you will die in your den of dreams, meaning nothing to know what.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I shoot him twice.

[SPEAKER_12]: You fire.

[SPEAKER_12]: and at the last moment, facts emerges from the rubble to roar at you.

[SPEAKER_12]: All of his eyes flare up and glow.

[SPEAKER_05]: That is a thirteen and a twenty-seven to hit.

[SPEAKER_12]: What happens?

[SPEAKER_05]: Do I just kill him?

[SPEAKER_12]: For the record he had two HP.

[SPEAKER_05]: I think in this moment, it's all they really actually just hates him.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I think that she hasn't felt this much rage and fury and just like desperation at someone since killing that.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I think as she pulls the trigger, she feels the exact same way as she felt when she killed him.

[SPEAKER_05]: And all of that rage comes pouring out of that gun.

[SPEAKER_11]: That energy, that [SPEAKER_11]: anger.

[SPEAKER_11]: You feel it again.

[SPEAKER_11]: And it feels good.

[SPEAKER_11]: It feels so good.

[SPEAKER_05]: I have Hexblades curse on him too, so I think as he dies, Solomon literally stands there and watches the light leave his eyes and takes in life from his death.

[SPEAKER_12]: Your bolt passes through him, oring a hole through his being.

[SPEAKER_12]: His eye stalks scream and rise.

[SPEAKER_11]: And as I looks at you, as if this never occurred to him.

[SPEAKER_12]: With an anti-climatic thump, his body hits the ground.

[SPEAKER_12]: Squalches a little.

[SPEAKER_12]: His eye stalks slapped the ground uselessly.

[SPEAKER_12]: This jaw hangs open slack, and the Lord Magister and High Archivist of Echo lays dead.

[SPEAKER_11]: Why it?

[SPEAKER_11]: The Amulet speaks to you.

[SPEAKER_02]: why it takes his hand away from where it was on the lion and puts it over the amulet.

[SPEAKER_02]: And to wherever that voice says, I am the flame [SPEAKER_02]: and the flame is eternal.

[SPEAKER_02]: And starts just blasting fire into...

Yeah!

[SPEAKER_02]: The amulet.

[SPEAKER_12]: Do you shout as you do it?

[SPEAKER_12]: Like, oh, absolutely.

[SPEAKER_12]: As you scream, the lion roars in harmony with you.

[SPEAKER_12]: And you feel goose prickles go up and down your spine.

[SPEAKER_12]: You feel the amulet heat up and the heat [SPEAKER_12]: turns it red.

[SPEAKER_11]: You hear the amulet say, and you feel sadness from it, as it says, [SPEAKER_12]: As you blast it with heat, you see for grow in that cracked earth around it.

[SPEAKER_12]: And the lion begins to move to its feet.

[SPEAKER_12]: And as it does, why you hear a voice in your ear that says, hey, we got to take it out of here.

[SPEAKER_12]: You open a board?

[SPEAKER_02]: Are you gonna be okay?

[SPEAKER_12]: The lion turns its flame to head to you.

[SPEAKER_12]: You see the fur has regrown around the amulet, and you know that you have not defeated it.

[SPEAKER_12]: But you've delayed.

[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go, Jack.

[SPEAKER_12]: Jack winks at you.

[SPEAKER_12]: And why you awake in your body at the riverbank?

[SPEAKER_06]: Ah!

[SPEAKER_12]: Solomon.

[SPEAKER_12]: You see that V is still going towards Wyatt.

[SPEAKER_05]: Even after?

[SPEAKER_12]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_05]: Jack brought him back because his soul is supposed to go over.

[SPEAKER_12]: His soul is not meant to be here.

[SPEAKER_05]: I do my ever-loving damn best to get to the riverbank and bodily shield Wyatt from V.

Solome, your eyes roll and you are at the riverbank.

[SPEAKER_12]: You stand before Wyatt [SPEAKER_12]: And you hear from behind you.

[SPEAKER_12]: Step aside.

[SPEAKER_05]: No.

[SPEAKER_04]: I have a duty.

[SPEAKER_05]: So do I.

If you look at him, he's just a kid.

[SPEAKER_05]: He doesn't deserve this.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, we need him.

[SPEAKER_05]: Please, just let me talk to the river.

[SPEAKER_05]: Let me try.

[SPEAKER_05]: She wouldn't want this.

[SPEAKER_05]: He's just a kid.

[SPEAKER_05]: Please, V.

V size.

[SPEAKER_12]: and their hand goes to their revolver.

[SPEAKER_05]: Don't fight me on this honey, please.

[SPEAKER_05]: Let me speak to the river.

[SPEAKER_12]: Why it?

[SPEAKER_12]: Next to you, Jack appears and says, shit.

[SPEAKER_12]: Hi, breaching her on place.

[SPEAKER_05]: Jack, get the hell out of here.

[SPEAKER_05]: Take the kid and run.

[SPEAKER_05]: Where am I?

[SPEAKER_12]: Why it?

[SPEAKER_12]: For the first time you see V.

[SPEAKER_12]: Outside of Solomon's memories, you see them truly.

[SPEAKER_12]: Long, duster, glove hands, a satchel.

[SPEAKER_12]: a wide-brembed hat with layers of veils and tassels containing items and trinkets.

[SPEAKER_12]: And beneath all of that two piercing blue flames of eyes, and they look at you and answer you saying, you're where you're destined to be.

[SPEAKER_12]: and they turn to you, solemnly, and pull their revolt for.

[SPEAKER_12]: And that is where we'll pick up next time.
