In this episode of the Top Surgery Podcast, Ioannis (he/him) is joined by Myrto (they/them), the first Greek patient he treated in this Athens practice, and a trans feminist artist and scholar.

Together they discuss their shared experience of returning to Greece after living in the UK, many people’s difficulty in distinguishing gender from sexuality, and the representation of life outside of the gender binary in ancient Greece. 

The two also share what is being done outside of the confines of academia and the need to develop literature on trans lives in languages other than English.
