Ep. 298: $500 Million Worth Of The Most Exotic, Rare & Desirable Super Cars - 2025 Quail Monterey!

Episode Transcript

[SPEAKER_07]: Hey guys, welcome to the Quail, probably one of the most prestigious auto shows in the world.

[SPEAKER_07]: And as always, all right, not always, but sometimes I'm here with my man, Mono Man.

[SPEAKER_07]: So good to have you finally back at Pebble.

[SPEAKER_07]: After like, thirteen years, my first time since we drove to Tetra.

[SPEAKER_04]: See, what everybody, you tell these people that you're like the normal guy, but really you're a fancy kind of a guy, and that's why you're here.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, I'm more of a truck guy, you know that.

[SPEAKER_07]: But here we are, it probably, how much, how much in terms of money and cars is here, you think?

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, you kind of lose this count.

[SPEAKER_07]: Half a billion.

[SPEAKER_04]: What's important about this whole thing is this Scottsdale and maybe one other auction a year sets the collector car market for the entire year.

[SPEAKER_04]: So think of this as like one big Bloomberg terminal that's a party in California.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, when this car came here, it was for sale.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: This morning, it was for sale.

[SPEAKER_04]: No, it wasn't even for sale.

[SPEAKER_04]: It was a demo.

[SPEAKER_04]: And then it was going to ship the dealers.

[SPEAKER_04]: But some guy literally walked up, not making this up with a credit card.

[SPEAKER_04]: Went to that guy over there and said, here's my credit card.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'll take this.

[SPEAKER_04]: I want two point six.

[SPEAKER_04]: Two point six three million dollars.

[SPEAKER_04]: I bought it.

[SPEAKER_04]: Now, why is this two point six three million dollars?

[SPEAKER_04]: What is this?

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, this is not a valor.

[SPEAKER_04]: Most people think it's a valor.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is a valiant, not a limit.

[SPEAKER_04]: So basically, it starts life.

[SPEAKER_04]: Really, it was based on advantage.

[SPEAKER_04]: They ripped out the eight cylinder engine.

[SPEAKER_04]: They shoehorn a twelve cylinder engine.

[SPEAKER_04]: Then, they ship it to Multimatic.

[SPEAKER_04]: Now, I thought it was a Canadian car.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is built in their facility in the UK.

[SPEAKER_04]: So all of the body work is carbon fiber.

[SPEAKER_04]: It has the multimatic dampers which, fun fact, a lot of your trucks have your GM trucks have multimatic hands.

[SPEAKER_07]: And so do the four mil one cars.

[SPEAKER_04]: And then the most important thing here, hopefully I don't get murdered for this.

[SPEAKER_04]: Look at that.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's a manual transmission, but Roman, take a look at the linkage.

[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, it's exposed and just beautiful.

[SPEAKER_07]: Look at that.

[SPEAKER_04]: So that's like from the day of the spike, and that's why the car is so rare, or one of the things that makes it so rare.

[SPEAKER_04]: Now, for those, your audience probably looks at the front, especially the unique front end, and they say to themselves, well, the Valor, they only made a hundred and ten of those, and they brought a fraction to the US.

[SPEAKER_04]: That is the case.

[SPEAKER_04]: This one was made for the race driver, and he wanted more of a sport version, excuse me, sorry sir.

[SPEAKER_04]: I just...

[SPEAKER_04]: I bumped into one of the Ashton Martin guys, they're not making a good impression.

[SPEAKER_04]: So apparently one of the race drivers wanted a more sporting version of that.

[SPEAKER_04]: So this is tuned differently, and as such they base the series of cars on a heritage Ashton Martin, hence they're only making thirty eight of these.

[SPEAKER_04]: They brought seven and I think it's seven or twelve into the U.S.

[SPEAKER_04]: This was the last one.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think it was.

[SPEAKER_04]: And they decided that they're going to demonstrate this car by shipping it around the dealers, but someone here wrote a check and said, no, you're not saying that.

[SPEAKER_07]: You know why that is one, man?

[SPEAKER_07]: Because everything here at the quail is about being one of one.

[SPEAKER_07]: And this is the only jet-black one of one that they made.

[SPEAKER_07]: And so you could see why somebody would be like, hey, I don't want my neighbor to have a jet-black.

[SPEAKER_04]: And that kind of answers the question of why would just spend two point six million dollars on a rebodied vantage?

[SPEAKER_04]: It's because no one else can have.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's the point.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's something cool.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, this.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, this is the machine guns.

[SPEAKER_04]: The Aston Martin that's like one eight scale.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you can get that for Tommy.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, I think he is a little too old down for that.

[SPEAKER_07]: So let's talk about what's next here.

[SPEAKER_07]: We are in Ferrari Land, of course.

[SPEAKER_04]: So this is registering as a percent.

[SPEAKER_04]: of production of Ferrari F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F- [SPEAKER_07]: I guess I'm more of an F- I'm more of an F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F-F- [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, um, I prefer this one.

[SPEAKER_04]: I do too.

[SPEAKER_04]: But out of all of them, maybe these many of these special edition like super duper Ferrari's, I still impartial the two ADHDO.

[SPEAKER_07]: Was this the last one that was built under Enzo Ferrari's?

[SPEAKER_04]: It's not the Renzo Ferrari's.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so this is if you want, you want the real Ferrari.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: Now let's look at today.

[SPEAKER_07]: Let's go over here.

[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, look at this.

[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, my my.

[SPEAKER_04]: So Ferrari, I feel like, you know, fortunately got this going on here.

[SPEAKER_04]: We've got to make it through.

[SPEAKER_04]: So these are fascinating, because Ferraris, they did these f-forties at f-forties every like couple of years, every like ten years.

[SPEAKER_04]: You had a car like this.

[SPEAKER_04]: Porsche kind of did the same thing.

[SPEAKER_04]: Now the pace is so fast because they have different derivations of these.

[SPEAKER_04]: Now they have like the F-AD at the same time.

[SPEAKER_04]: So the question is what would you do with your four million dollars to buy a car?

[SPEAKER_07]: You know what I would do?

[SPEAKER_07]: And I got to say this is my generation.

[SPEAKER_07]: I would buy the testarose over there.

[SPEAKER_07]: I love testarose over there.

[SPEAKER_04]: Is it five over there?

[SPEAKER_04]: No, that one with the other.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's a TR.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's five to all TR.

[SPEAKER_04]: Same thing.

[SPEAKER_04]: Same thing.

[SPEAKER_07]: So where the testarose over there is that testarose?

[SPEAKER_04]: That's a testarose.

[SPEAKER_07]: So what's the difference between that?

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, so they changed some bodywork, they changed the output of the car.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is why they had to change a number of the safety equipment in this car.

[SPEAKER_04]: So if you look, unfortunately, this one has those crazy belts, remember the belts that I had.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh my God.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's where they'll forget that.

[SPEAKER_04]: This was a small car, mate.

[SPEAKER_07]: Right out.

[SPEAKER_04]: Where this car was prior to that.

[SPEAKER_07]: And it only has one mirror.

[SPEAKER_07]: Look, you're only getting one mirror, dude.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: My guess is this is a euro market car.

[SPEAKER_04]: You look at this one here.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, let me ask you this my learning friend.

[SPEAKER_07]: We're kind of talking about this before.

[SPEAKER_07]: We'll get to these cars a second.

[SPEAKER_07]: But why are Gaiardo's like the Idkara now?

[SPEAKER_07]: Why are Gaiardo so hot?

[SPEAKER_07]: Doug has a Gaiardo, man has a Gaiardo.

[SPEAKER_07]: Why?

[SPEAKER_04]: No, you're telling me to Kuntas.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not going to go out.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not going to go out.

[SPEAKER_04]: The Kuntas.

[SPEAKER_04]: I want to make a point about a Guardo.

[SPEAKER_04]: So you know when you depreciation, that's where the Guardo is with the bottom.

[SPEAKER_04]: They're only going to go up Guardo.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's a really good question.

[SPEAKER_04]: Let's actually go this way, so we can see some of the race cars lined up.

[SPEAKER_04]: Very good question, and I'll tell you why.

[SPEAKER_04]: Class of cars, really any cars, anything.

[SPEAKER_04]: You never buy the actual item itself, you're buying a store.

[SPEAKER_04]: And when it comes to classic cars, it's all a function of what did people have covered when they were young.

[SPEAKER_04]: And if you think about like, two, fifty series Ferraris, those guys would die in off.

[SPEAKER_04]: Doesn't mean those cars are going to go to zero, but the value of two, fifty Ferraris are going down.

[SPEAKER_04]: But Kuntosh is there.

[SPEAKER_04]: Those people now have disposable income.

[SPEAKER_04]: They can afford a toy like that.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's why they're growing up without you.

[SPEAKER_07]: So our Diablo's and Mercilago's gonna follow you think are they already follow?

[SPEAKER_04]: Diablo's already following.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, the mercies are they've bottomed out.

[SPEAKER_04]: They're going up as well.

[SPEAKER_07]: Hey, did you see the company here?

[SPEAKER_07]: It's just over here actually that re-imagine the Diablo.

[SPEAKER_07]: Have you seen that company?

[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, whatever.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's so terrible.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, let's go look at that.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: Look, there's a car in a box.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, these are actually my buddies from the airport.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, these are my airport buddies.

[SPEAKER_04]: They do this luxury rally club thing here.

[SPEAKER_04]: And you can see some of the guys will make our way through here.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's a coin exam.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: Actually, this guy is Dutch and he owns a car called the Donkervort and we're going to shoot his Donkervort in about a month.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_04]: Although, he has bad taste of hats.

[SPEAKER_07]: Well, it's very interesting.

[SPEAKER_07]: I know what the dunk of all this is.

[SPEAKER_04]: This guy really has, this guy was like employing number five at Nike.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: Well, that's still pretty amazing.

[SPEAKER_07]: You still wear the shoes?

[SPEAKER_04]: Of course.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, all right.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's the audience, what's your name?

[SPEAKER_06]: What's my daily?

[SPEAKER_06]: I drive old cards every day.

[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I literally, I have new cards that I don't like.

[SPEAKER_06]: So I just drive old cards.

[SPEAKER_06]: So what's your favorite?

[SPEAKER_06]: hard to say, but the one I'm actually rallied up here with was a nineteen fifty two Mercedes two twenty.

[SPEAKER_06]: No, this is an old car.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: Actually, it's because it's a it's a it's a completely what's called them.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's amazing, but it's super stiff.

[SPEAKER_06]: It goes through curves really well.

[SPEAKER_07]: All right, let me ask you this.

[SPEAKER_07]: Let me get Howard on you.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, what?

[SPEAKER_07]: I guess you have a lot of cars too.

[SPEAKER_07]: But if you can only keep one car.

[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I already, so my, my always question says, Earth can say the same thing.

[SPEAKER_06]: That the, the, my always thing is, what's my favorite car?

[SPEAKER_06]: They go, no, when everything goes to shit.

[SPEAKER_06]: Of course, all the expensive cards disappear because you have to pay for shit.

[SPEAKER_06]: So what being the last card keep is exactly that card.

[SPEAKER_07]: There you go.

[SPEAKER_06]: If you do Mercedes.

[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you, Mr.

and Ronnie.

[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_07]: What you doing, Nike?

[SPEAKER_06]: I was everything that I was pretty much.

[SPEAKER_06]: I became the whole all the products that went in the line.

[SPEAKER_06]: I was like I that made the final.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, you know about manufacturing in China.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so I didn't know I didn't know.

[SPEAKER_06]: He's very like this.

[SPEAKER_06]: At twenty one.

[SPEAKER_06]: I got put in charge of a thirty thousand person factory.

[SPEAKER_06]: I just got out of college.

[SPEAKER_06]: I go, I have fucking no idea what I'm doing.

[SPEAKER_06]: My boss goes, neither do I.

Good luck.

[SPEAKER_07]: Well, it was nice to eat you.

[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, buddy.

[SPEAKER_07]: I'll see you back at Hangar.

[SPEAKER_07]: All right.

[SPEAKER_07]: Let's keep going here.

[SPEAKER_07]: Wow.

[SPEAKER_07]: That's some Nike royalty there.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's he is Nike royalty.

[SPEAKER_04]: He literally, for those of you that know running, this guy used to run was Steve a pre-fontein.

[SPEAKER_04]: Really?

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: Like that's kind of the world.

[SPEAKER_07]: You see it?

[SPEAKER_04]: I still run for that much.

[SPEAKER_04]: You can imagine I'm switched it up by now to kickboxing.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, interesting.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, come on.

[SPEAKER_04]: Launchio O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O [SPEAKER_04]: I'd say so, where people decide, and while this car is, it basically is built on the bones of a basic lansia beta coupe.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's what this was.

[SPEAKER_04]: The goddo design, but effectively they put this crazy engine of the back foot.

[SPEAKER_04]: It just turned it into a monster of a car, but then unfortunately, Audi came and ate their lunch.

[SPEAKER_04]: with the all-wheel drive cars.

[SPEAKER_07]: And they haven't done a lot since then, like I say, boom, I'm sorry, I was a hot dog.

[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, but it's kind of true, isn't that hurts?

[SPEAKER_07]: Can I point something out?

[SPEAKER_07]: Can I say something before you get off the outie?

[SPEAKER_07]: I'm going to make a hot take.

[SPEAKER_07]: I think that the R-H was the high water for outie.

[SPEAKER_07]: That's when the outie was really hitting hard.

[SPEAKER_04]: Do you realize that [SPEAKER_04]: You're right.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think I hate to admit you're right, but it's true isn't and it's not just me telling you this the collector car market agrees Yeah, try look at the values of a ten cylinder outie with a manual or it with a manual Oh, before we go over here.

[SPEAKER_04]: Look at this this is special seven eight seven B the only Laman winning master I actually saw this I saw this in the [SPEAKER_07]: In Japan, I saw this car in Japan in the Mazda Museum, or at least a version of this car.

[SPEAKER_07]: They have built two of them.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: The one that floats around, mainly is one like a kind of a knockoff of the US.

[SPEAKER_04]: The one in Japan is the limon winning car.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's the one I saw.

[SPEAKER_04]: And, oh, is there?

[SPEAKER_04]: If you see it, there's always the guy that lives with it, that sleeps next to it.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's never out of its sight.

[SPEAKER_04]: Can I show you the LFG?

[SPEAKER_04]: Before we do that, let's go over here.

[SPEAKER_04]: I wanted to point something out while we're here.

[SPEAKER_04]: All right, let's go.

[SPEAKER_04]: So this is the beauty of the quail.

[SPEAKER_04]: People think it's a snooty car show, but look, Ferrari, Corvette, and Dotsons, and then another sixties error, Ferrari.

[SPEAKER_04]: of course.

[SPEAKER_04]: So look at what we've just shown you here.

[SPEAKER_04]: We've shown you three and a half million or four million dollar Ferraris, but then look, a lemon-winning monster, and then dots in that slave these guys back in the seventh.

[SPEAKER_07]: And then look at the only Chinese car here at the Carmo.

[SPEAKER_07]: We're going to a carmo?

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's what your guy from Ferrari is now a carpenter.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's really nice.

[SPEAKER_07]: Hey, let's come on.

[SPEAKER_07]: Let's go look at this guy, the LFG, which stands for, let's f and go.

[SPEAKER_07]: So this is a cooperation between the Myers-Banks and Tudhill.

[SPEAKER_07]: You know, Tudhill, right?

[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_07]: They do, they reimagine horses in the UK, and Myers bought Myers-Banks recently.

[SPEAKER_07]: And so this is a flat six, putting out three hundred horsepower.

[SPEAKER_07]: And it's the ultimate boom buggy, really.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's a real looking at here.

[SPEAKER_04]: That is beyond the ultimate, dude.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's probably beyond the ultimate buggy.

[SPEAKER_07]: You want to head over to Coding Zag or you want to keep going away?

[SPEAKER_07]: We can't.

[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know much about Coding Zag except that they're very quick.

[SPEAKER_04]: So, Kunigsegg is an interesting business.

[SPEAKER_04]: There are two companies here that have a very similar business model.

[SPEAKER_04]: Kunigsegg and Singer.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, well, Kunigsegg is a little bit later.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know how to pronounce your check.

[SPEAKER_04]: You should know how to pronounce that.

[SPEAKER_04]: These guys basically are in their defense contracts.

[SPEAKER_04]: They make money with a very high-tech defense contracting.

[SPEAKER_04]: And then they do this car business stuff on the side, which I find fascinating.

[SPEAKER_04]: And they do it to a level that is both art, breaking barriers of technology, but also look at some of the timelessness going on.

[SPEAKER_04]: Like for example, a carbon fiber arm for the wiper.

[SPEAKER_04]: And then notice, not a screen.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's a gauge crossing.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, thank God, huh?

[SPEAKER_07]: It's very pegany, it's just a little bit of pegany to it.

[SPEAKER_07]: And they're here, by the way, as well.

[SPEAKER_04]: So Roman, I recently shot Bugatti Turbino.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: And I called Turbino because it's basically that with a little place swiss, swiss, swiss, swiss, swiss, swiss, swiss, swiss.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's a watch.

[SPEAKER_04]: And it's made of rubies and sapphires.

[SPEAKER_04]: And talk about timeless.

[SPEAKER_04]: It is the most exquisite thing I've ever seen.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's not here, though.

[SPEAKER_07]: I haven't seen a Turbion here.

[SPEAKER_04]: Now, the Turbion is not here.

[SPEAKER_04]: Bugatti is here, but the Turbion.

[SPEAKER_04]: The last run of their W-X-Teen is here.

[SPEAKER_04]: The Turbion is a V-X-Teen, and it has three electric motors, no turbochargers, eighteen hundred horsepower, and the electric motors are made in house.

[SPEAKER_07]: You can hear the race car starting up.

[SPEAKER_04]: So we're about to start the award ceremony.

[SPEAKER_04]: So if you look at the why the clocks, we're at two forty, this goes to about four o'clock and you and I have been here since one eight eight thirty.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, probably earlier I got here at seven.

[SPEAKER_04]: Seven.

[SPEAKER_04]: Wow.

[SPEAKER_07]: That's nice.

[SPEAKER_07]: There's nobody here.

[SPEAKER_07]: Let's go over here.

[SPEAKER_07]: Get some ice cream.

[SPEAKER_07]: Is there?

[SPEAKER_07]: We're going to get some ice cream.

[SPEAKER_07]: Let's get some ice cream.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, come on, look at this.

[SPEAKER_04]: So I think it's a knockoff XJ-III.

[SPEAKER_04]: Look, so this was a Jaguar, believe it or not.

[SPEAKER_04]: Let's see if it's real.

[SPEAKER_04]: Do you think it's a knockoff?

[SPEAKER_04]: It's not real.

[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't expect it to be real.

[SPEAKER_04]: It was real to be worth a hell of a lot more.

[SPEAKER_04]: So this was a super rare kind of project concept car.

[SPEAKER_04]: I would turn it to a race car for Jaguar.

[SPEAKER_04]: Never really made it.

[SPEAKER_04]: Before you blow by this.

[SPEAKER_07]: This is the Mustang of the UK.

[SPEAKER_04]: Again, the beauty of Kuel.

[SPEAKER_04]: If you get these unusual cars set amongst super fancy cars, and can we show them the other beauty of Kuel?

[SPEAKER_07]: What's the other beauty of Kuel?

[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, buddy.

[SPEAKER_04]: Andy, good to see you.

[SPEAKER_04]: So you guys don't know Andy.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is Andy.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not going to embarrass his father right now.

[SPEAKER_04]: His father is like one of the grandfoul guys at Kiel.

[SPEAKER_04]: And we met on a drive one time, in terms of his father is big into cigars and problematic for savings.

[SPEAKER_04]: That is a way to describe your father.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, exactly.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_04]: So let's go look at this.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is the other reason why you want to come to Quill.

[SPEAKER_04]: Do you want some ice cream?

[SPEAKER_04]: No, I want to keep building.

[SPEAKER_04]: Let's keep building.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, so I want to show you something super cool.

[SPEAKER_04]: So check this out.

[SPEAKER_04]: So you know I'm a Porsche guy, but I'm more about design, tactile, feel, color and trim.

[SPEAKER_04]: Look at the color and trim of this.

[SPEAKER_04]: The wood is not just on the dash in the doors, it's on the back of the seats.

[SPEAKER_07]: Very nautical themed.

[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I'm surprised it's not wood back here.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm beautiful.

[SPEAKER_04]: I do like the rear of the vanquish a bit better.

[SPEAKER_04]: And then on the DB-Twelfth.

[SPEAKER_04]: And then you have this over here, which is, it's basically our spaceship made of carbon fiber.

[SPEAKER_04]: This one has an upgraded carbon fiber in terms of the tub that it's made of.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's basically a race car.

[SPEAKER_04]: It is a race car.

[SPEAKER_04]: It is a race car.

[SPEAKER_04]: It takes my height and I have to ask the Martinist doing.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's a tough slog to compete against Germans.

[SPEAKER_04]: And with these cars, still trouble.

[SPEAKER_04]: But the fact is doing these one-offs, I think that's the way forward.

[SPEAKER_04]: So what is this one called?

[SPEAKER_07]: It's not the Velhola, is it?

[SPEAKER_05]: No.

[SPEAKER_07]: The Velhola is a little bit different.

[SPEAKER_07]: There's no name on it.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's so one of one that they don't even have any of them on it.

[SPEAKER_07]: Is there any name on the back?

[SPEAKER_07]: Velhola.

[SPEAKER_07]: I said it was the Velhola.

[SPEAKER_07]: All right, bro, I'm in good swing right.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, bro, I'm in good swing right.

[SPEAKER_07]: You know, after I called the Kuntags de Guardo, I kind of, I hope I kind of...

[SPEAKER_07]: came back strong.

[SPEAKER_07]: All right, let's keep going.

[SPEAKER_07]: Let's see what else there is.

[SPEAKER_07]: You know, this is my first time here.

[SPEAKER_07]: And I am a maze.

[SPEAKER_07]: I was just a good wood.

[SPEAKER_07]: And there are a lot of cars there.

[SPEAKER_07]: What?

[SPEAKER_07]: This kind of even out.

[SPEAKER_07]: Good wood.

[SPEAKER_07]: Good wood.

[SPEAKER_04]: Of course.

[SPEAKER_07]: Because I mean, over here, Bugatti.

[SPEAKER_04]: I want to show you what we can look at that.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's just a model seen right now.

[SPEAKER_07]: Well, like the dog is a person.

[SPEAKER_07]: That's a real purse dog.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's another thing about the monster rate finish.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's a car week.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're going to see a lot of dogs and Louis Vuitton bags.

[SPEAKER_04]: So a couple of things to point out here.

[SPEAKER_04]: A lot of unique details in the glass.

[SPEAKER_04]: You like the horse in the early months of the horse park?

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know the horse park.

[SPEAKER_04]: But something for guys has been doing as a way to describe you roots.

[SPEAKER_04]: So they do this as an option and they did it in the charan.

[SPEAKER_04]: They're doing it in this kind of one-off and they're also doing it in the Turbion.

[SPEAKER_04]: So the Turbion, the doors the way they open, it'll actually open up the airiness.

[SPEAKER_07]: So can I get you a little bit of Bugatti trivia?

[SPEAKER_07]: Sure.

[SPEAKER_07]: You see this elephant?

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: Right there?

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: You know where that comes from?

[SPEAKER_04]: Tell us.

[SPEAKER_07]: So, Atari Bugatti had a brother, who was a sculptor?

[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_07]: We sculpted it.

[SPEAKER_04]: Awesome.

[SPEAKER_04]: So, there you go.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, actually, comments below, who was the famous artist that was written related to Atari?

[SPEAKER_04]: Don't know who.

[SPEAKER_04]: No, I put it in the Capitol.

[SPEAKER_04]: Put it in the Capitol.

[SPEAKER_04]: Put it in the Capitol.

[SPEAKER_04]: Alright, yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: So, we were talking about the...

Roman will send you his media pass.

[SPEAKER_04]: That as a gift.

[SPEAKER_05]: We'll talk about it.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'll be here.

[SPEAKER_07]: I've got to show you a car.

[SPEAKER_07]: We get reimagined.

[SPEAKER_07]: We'll never get here again.

[SPEAKER_05]: We'll show you another two.

[SPEAKER_07]: So this looks familiar to you.

[SPEAKER_07]: Looks very familiar.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_07]: Tell us what it is.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's a Lamborghini that's been reimagined.

[SPEAKER_07]: And it's a, it's before the mercy, it was before the mercy of the upload.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's a reimagined, the upload.

[SPEAKER_04]: The market is already gone up on regular Diablo, so I think this is odd that they're doing this whole singer thing.

[SPEAKER_04]: But then again, everyone's doing this singer thing because they saw the rate success that they've made with horses that are reimagined.

[SPEAKER_04]: It was a water deck world.

[SPEAKER_07]: I have to say, that's very good wood.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's very good, yes.

[SPEAKER_04]: All right, what is going on?

[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's going to blow the scope here and check out a car.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a near and dear to me.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, let's go check it out.

[SPEAKER_04]: What we look like is a little Bentley.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's old Bentley.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's not a blow or Bentley.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's a twenty eight four and a half later.

[SPEAKER_07]: But it's no longer, well, let's pass that music.

[SPEAKER_07]: We've got to keep away from the music.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, you can't write that song.

[SPEAKER_07]: Can't do that.

[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, speakers are so loud.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're going to have to cut that anyway.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, look, there's a joe me.

[SPEAKER_04]: Do me a favor.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're going to have to cut the balance out.

[SPEAKER_04]: Hala and I screwed up the dates on the Ferrari.

[SPEAKER_07]: So say the dates.

[SPEAKER_04]: The dates are midnight.

[SPEAKER_04]: I said today.

[SPEAKER_07]: That's all right.

[SPEAKER_07]: We're all human.

[SPEAKER_07]: We make mistakes.

[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, you want to hear something near and dear to us?

[SPEAKER_04]: The Jobi?

[SPEAKER_04]: Do you know who works for this guy?

[SPEAKER_04]: Eric Adams.

[SPEAKER_04]: Who's Eric Adams?

[SPEAKER_04]: Who's our writer extraordinaire?

[SPEAKER_04]: It was a fundraiser going all the trips.

[SPEAKER_04]: He now works for this Jobi company.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, well they're building an electric air taxi, basically a drone.

[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, here comes the engine.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's a great shot room.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_04]: As a pilot, I can officially tell you that was highly legal what they just did, but I love it.

[SPEAKER_04]: And it's a rule of airspace.

[SPEAKER_04]: What they did, you can only do what's called echo airspace, meaning you have to be at least five hundred feet above people, animals, and structures.

[SPEAKER_04]: So, way we're definitely lowered in five hundred feet.

[SPEAKER_07]: So, here's a Celestique, you like the design of this thing?

[SPEAKER_04]: You know what, I like the concept of it, but I don't like the execution that it's a hatchback.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's kind of a funny looking car, isn't it?

[SPEAKER_04]: I love the proportions.

[SPEAKER_04]: I would have loved it more if it was some sort of like a twelve cylinder plug in hybrid.

[SPEAKER_07]: Oh my god, this music is kind of like the music itself.

[SPEAKER_07]: I just terrible.

[SPEAKER_07]: I get it, so that's our coming, yeah, I get it.

[SPEAKER_07]: Do you want to stop?

[SPEAKER_07]: No, you can keep going.

[SPEAKER_07]: No worry, this makes it pretty good.

[SPEAKER_07]: Just keep away from the black speakers.

[SPEAKER_07]: And speaking of singer, there's Gunther.

[SPEAKER_07]: I think you picked the very worst time to do this.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, the bird almost got in the location.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, at least they're going to hear us from Kenny Login.

[SPEAKER_07]: I hope it works.

[SPEAKER_07]: What do you think of Gunther?

[SPEAKER_04]: You know what?

[SPEAKER_04]: From an engineering, they're actually not far from me in Huntington Beach.

[SPEAKER_04]: From an engineering point of view, I think they do a great job.

[SPEAKER_04]: In terms of them against the singer, I like the reinterpretation singer does more than these guys.

[SPEAKER_07]: Well, these guys are a little bit more like performance oriented and singers more classic.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's more than that.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: Come here, let me show you.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: Like, look at the interior of this car.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's not performance on a glass tile.

[SPEAKER_04]: The details of the carbon-fibes that they'll reinterpretation of a recarro seat with a carbon fiber literally structure and then they put these beautiful leather details in it and then they have a carbon fiber reinterpretation of the dash.

[SPEAKER_04]: Why do you think those are not real?

[SPEAKER_01]: We just let anybody in while we're working right now.

[SPEAKER_07]: I think it's waiting though.

[SPEAKER_07]: Alright, let me ask you this.

[SPEAKER_07]: Why is there this Renaissance of these reinterpreted, you know, nine elevens, Lamborghini's, right?

[SPEAKER_07]: Why is all this happening now?

[SPEAKER_07]: Is it just a lot of tech bro money?

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, the answer is not really about cars.

[SPEAKER_04]: The answer is a lot of dollars chasing fuel resource.

[SPEAKER_04]: So you have these cars.

[SPEAKER_04]: People like, for example, you could buy this, right?

[SPEAKER_04]: It's like a height of eight to one hundred grand.

[SPEAKER_04]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_04]: Or you could buy like a one off nine eleven that you decided to create completely on your own.

[SPEAKER_07]: By listening to our sex.

[SPEAKER_04]: What do you think?

[SPEAKER_04]: I think I'll get it.

[SPEAKER_07]: I think these mirrors will never make it into production.

[SPEAKER_07]: That's what I think.

[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know why designers love those old camera mirrors.

[SPEAKER_04]: Tell me what you see here.

[SPEAKER_07]: I see no grill.

[SPEAKER_07]: What am I supposed to see?

[SPEAKER_04]: the Lotus Amitah.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, electric.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, you are.

[SPEAKER_04]: Electro.

[SPEAKER_04]: Electro.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, exactly.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: I see the electric, you're right.

[SPEAKER_04]: So, back to what we're saying.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's too many dollars chasing, too few resources.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's, I think we're going to start changing up the system as the economy changes.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's what it takes.

[SPEAKER_04]: Most importantly, as economic policy change.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's really what's going on here.

[SPEAKER_07]: I also think, you know, we started this by saying one of one.

[SPEAKER_07]: I think people just won.

[SPEAKER_07]: the one thing that nobody else can have.

[SPEAKER_07]: I think there's a sense of that right now.

[SPEAKER_07]: So these are the new Myers-Manks.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so these things, they come in a couple of different flavors.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is the electric model here.

[SPEAKER_04]: They just introduced this like four cedar one over here and then you probably know Matt.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is Matt's car.

[SPEAKER_04]: He bought this, I watched him [SPEAKER_07]: There he is.

[SPEAKER_04]: I literally watched him place the order last year in this very spot with Jennifer Plank.

[SPEAKER_04]: No exaggeration.

[SPEAKER_04]: And for those who don't know Jennifer Plank, very good friend.

[SPEAKER_04]: She ran forward coms for many years.

[SPEAKER_04]: She was the CEO of the mix.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_04]: So she bought the car from her and was delivered six days ago.

[SPEAKER_04]: He trailered it with a Bentley ventega up here.

[SPEAKER_04]: And it was at Motorola.

[SPEAKER_04]: What's up?

[SPEAKER_01]: I was so sorry.

[SPEAKER_01]: I was so sorry.

[SPEAKER_01]: I was a being a bad friend of the camera right now.

[SPEAKER_01]: I know you want to tell us further about the car for the record.

[SPEAKER_01]: I was at motor looks very distracted and I was very rude to you.

[SPEAKER_01]: I was rude to you.

[SPEAKER_01]: But your life was nice to me.

[SPEAKER_01]: It always does that.

[SPEAKER_01]: She acts me up.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's such like a brazil distracted.

[SPEAKER_01]: You can make it up to the heavens to go.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, man.

[SPEAKER_01]: I've got two cigars under that blanket for the rollout for when I drive it out.

[SPEAKER_01]: I have the black pads.

[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see.

[SPEAKER_01]: I get to try the car off the lawn.

[SPEAKER_04]: So I just told him the story that I watched you buy this car in front of Jennifer Flake last year.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hundred percent.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's true.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's just got it six days.

[SPEAKER_01]: But it's almost true because they tried to swipe my credit card for the fifty percent deposit here and I said, nah.

[SPEAKER_01]: I said, look, I'm getting the car but I'll bring it.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think Hannah should probably do that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hannah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hannah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hannah, guess what?

[SPEAKER_01]: This is the better hand.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is my wife, Hannah.

[SPEAKER_04]: My better half.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is really an accessory.

[SPEAKER_01]: Tell George about the ship knob.

[SPEAKER_08]: Ah, best for the whole car.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's London, sir.

[SPEAKER_01]: And you picked it out.

[SPEAKER_08]: I didn't pick it out, per se.

[SPEAKER_08]: But we gave them some ideas around what we might want in there.

[SPEAKER_08]: If you can have something just floating, free floating.

[SPEAKER_01]: Free floating.

[SPEAKER_01]: What happens is, when you, as I'm sure, like you know, George, Hannah has a, how does, Hannah has a collection of hot dogs with iconography, memorabilia in this bathroom now.

[SPEAKER_08]: Let's get into my neck.

[SPEAKER_01]: And in our back in this bathroom, and it's like overflowing with hot dogs.

[SPEAKER_08]: That won't go in there anymore.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, because there's no room for me to poo.

[SPEAKER_04]: I've seen this.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you've been there.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: So, but what happens is when people find out that you have a collection of things.

[SPEAKER_01]: They then start getting you more of that thing and just spirals that.

[SPEAKER_08]: Which is great on every level.

[SPEAKER_01]: So Brenda, who is in charge of styling it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks, learned about Hannah's hot dog thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so we have we can pay a hot dog shift.

[SPEAKER_01]: Which is she made an answer or something?

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_08]: No, that's not true.

[SPEAKER_08]: We talked with her about it.

[SPEAKER_08]: But it was her idea and the best part about the whole thing was like, [SPEAKER_08]: The prototyping that had to happen and like sometimes there was air bubbles around the hot dogs and it was just Brenda in her kitchen at night trying new and different things.

[SPEAKER_08]: It was amazing.

[SPEAKER_08]: It's super cool.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, she handles right like we did talk about it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but the final product that was the pay of her.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.

[SPEAKER_01]: That was her initial.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: But we did get surprises.

[SPEAKER_01]: Literally panel wanted heated seats and I wanted sport bucket seats and those are not the same thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: And they literally surprised us by doing the very first heated sport bucket seat for Hannah.

[SPEAKER_04]: So we didn't even have to get a chance for them to show them.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's what I thought.

[SPEAKER_07]: You're going to get the microphone.

[SPEAKER_01]: So that there's that which no I won't get a check.

[SPEAKER_01]: We did get them for free, but we did.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm getting, I'm going to get a royalty for the Matt Farad dead pedal, which I had them make because they had the floor high beams, which suck.

[SPEAKER_01]: So I said dead pedal, trigger high beam.

[SPEAKER_01]: is what I want and made and now they're offering that as a thing for other people.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, most people who buy a manks, they start with a love for like Volkswagen's or something, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: And this is just an extreme version of that.

[SPEAKER_01]: I approach this from the radial engine backwards.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't really care that much about Volkswagen's.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's at the point where I would buy a Volkswagen powered manks, but this is a totally different thing.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is the Advice Special.

[SPEAKER_01]: Ah, it's crazy.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's a three-cylinder two-liter radial.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's a hundred and fifty horsepower, a hundred and seventy torque.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's a billet block and a billet pump.

[SPEAKER_01]: Australia.

[SPEAKER_01]: Radio motion is the company in Australia, but banks owns them now.

[SPEAKER_01]: So it has the fins, but it's water cooled.

[SPEAKER_01]: The radiator is behind here.

[SPEAKER_01]: And it runs Motek, it's got a four-speed Porsche gearbox and all kinds of good good stuff.

[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, sir.

[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, sir.

[SPEAKER_01]: You guys.

[SPEAKER_01]: We'll catch him.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm later.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to go to the Porsche party tonight.

[SPEAKER_01]: Sam and fire pits tomorrow.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_01]: All these fire pits.

[SPEAKER_01]: All right.

[SPEAKER_01]: There you go.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_01]: There you go.

[SPEAKER_07]: You got up on the horse's mouth.

[SPEAKER_07]: He said that they wander on the credit card.

[SPEAKER_07]: That's because [SPEAKER_07]: As cute as AR, there are north of a hundred thousand if you get the radial engine.

[SPEAKER_07]: Pretty much.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: It is the most expensive one.

[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, once upon a time, you would buy the minks, fiberglass body, you would get a Volkswagen, people as a donor car.

[SPEAKER_07]: Just get away from that by that.

[SPEAKER_07]: And then you would build it yourself.

[SPEAKER_07]: And now of course, it's become a lifestyle vehicle.

[SPEAKER_07]: Which is fine, but yeah, you got to have money.

[SPEAKER_04]: So that's what I was saying about a lot of dollars chasing too few resource.

[SPEAKER_04]: And these guys, I think, hit it perfectly, kind of at the tail end of all that money in the financial system.

[SPEAKER_04]: And so they early on, they sold a lot of cars.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what they're doing right now.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's the big question.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we have to say we want to see this.

[SPEAKER_04]: So the ring brothers.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so the ring brothers are a company out of Wisconsin where I used to work as a TV reporter.

[SPEAKER_07]: They're known for going to see.

[SPEAKER_07]: We're in Wisconsin.

[SPEAKER_07]: We're in Jamesville.

[SPEAKER_07]: And they're known for building incredibly [SPEAKER_07]: Kind of like Liberty Walk in Japan, right?

[SPEAKER_07]: So they're known by these incredibly beautiful sea map builds, but they decided to do like a seventies aston.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's a huge departure, yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: It is a huge departure, yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: It do.

[SPEAKER_04]: Buelics.

[SPEAKER_04]: Camaro.

[SPEAKER_07]: Well, they do Mustangs, and yeah, exactly.

[SPEAKER_07]: And now they've done this and it is absolutely gorgeous.

[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, look at this.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's, you know, [SPEAKER_07]: It's like a senior level bill.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's like a senior level bill that when I love about it, the temptation would be to put screens, but he's mad.

[SPEAKER_04]: Look at the interpretation of the Raston Martin logo.

[SPEAKER_04]: That is, I love it.

[SPEAKER_04]: I can smell all of it.

[SPEAKER_04]: No exaggeration.

[SPEAKER_04]: Look at what I'm standing.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I can literally smuggle that.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I can also smuggle the cigar.

[SPEAKER_07]: No, no, you can still just go in.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: I love it.

[SPEAKER_07]: I love it.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I just say hi again.

[SPEAKER_07]: Good to see you again.

[SPEAKER_05]: Good job.

[SPEAKER_05]: Thanks, Eric.

[SPEAKER_05]: Cool.

[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, guys.

[SPEAKER_05]: Russell, dad.

[SPEAKER_07]: Russell, we have many years of Volvo.

[SPEAKER_04]: He basically put Volvo on the map.

[SPEAKER_04]: So when they basically reinterpreted Volvo's modern day XC-N-E-N-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E- [SPEAKER_04]: That was one way.

[SPEAKER_04]: That was my coup de gras.

[SPEAKER_04]: That was it.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's also a great friend.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to tell you a little story behind the scenes.

[SPEAKER_04]: When I was in the hospital after I got mowed down by a Tesla, we're both from New York.

[SPEAKER_04]: He brought me some pastrami on rise.

[SPEAKER_04]: And Matsubo.

[SPEAKER_04]: And Matsubo.

[SPEAKER_04]: And Matsubo.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's like my Jewish one.

[SPEAKER_07]: No Matsubo.

[SPEAKER_07]: No Matsubo.

[SPEAKER_07]: Just a Matsubo.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: Is the Matsubo.

[SPEAKER_07]: What else is there?

[SPEAKER_07]: True there.

[SPEAKER_07]: All right.

[SPEAKER_07]: Here we got Fagani, of course, of Huaira.

[SPEAKER_07]: Huaira.

[SPEAKER_07]: And yeah, these are different.

[SPEAKER_04]: So these are so rare.

[SPEAKER_04]: Same with the Koenigseks.

[SPEAKER_04]: They're so rare.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, they're like four of them here.

[SPEAKER_07]: They're one of them here, dude.

[SPEAKER_04]: Like how rare can that be?

[SPEAKER_04]: This is the official used car dealership.

[SPEAKER_04]: Like this is the certified pre-owned pagani dealership.

[SPEAKER_07]: So how much is it pre-owned?

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't even know where you start doing half an million, formerly enough.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, something like that.

[SPEAKER_07]: You know, these blew up when top gear profiled them.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: I know me knew what a choir I was, all of a sudden, a choir up.

[SPEAKER_04]: But the beauty of these things, you're buying something so rare and it could be sold anywhere in the world.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's kind of like a blue chip investment.

[SPEAKER_04]: So we're talking about too many dollars chasing too few resources.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is like a gold.

[SPEAKER_04]: There's just enough to satisfy the world demand.

[SPEAKER_07]: I kind of feel like these guys park the cars the wrong way.

[SPEAKER_07]: Am I wrong?

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not wrong, am I?

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I mean, if you're Greek you like it that way.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, man, I'm Greek.

[SPEAKER_04]: Wait a minute.

[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, you're angry.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, okay.

[SPEAKER_07]: Wait, wait, wait.

[SPEAKER_07]: You guys must know.

[SPEAKER_07]: Look left.

[SPEAKER_07]: What's your take on this?

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, God.

[SPEAKER_07]: This is the.

[SPEAKER_07]: How much is the Jaguar double O concert?

[SPEAKER_04]: How are you?

[SPEAKER_07]: How are you?

[SPEAKER_07]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_07]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_02]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_02]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_02]: Are you?

[SPEAKER_02]: Are you [SPEAKER_07]: I saw it a good one, dude.

[SPEAKER_02]: I saw it in Miami.

[SPEAKER_02]: Did you buy the case?

[SPEAKER_02]: The master car.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: A good one.

[SPEAKER_07]: The guy said the same thing.

[SPEAKER_07]: You're the second person saying that.

[SPEAKER_04]: The classic guy.

[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you, sir.

[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_07]: All right, so double up on that.

[SPEAKER_04]: Wow, we were about to say negative things.

[SPEAKER_07]: No, that's a negative.

[SPEAKER_07]: I like it.

[SPEAKER_07]: So here's the thing, let me show it.

[SPEAKER_04]: I said on camera when the car came out, I went to the launch in Miami.

[SPEAKER_04]: You got to see it in person to understand.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: When you see it in person, you understand the proportions.

[SPEAKER_04]: And I want to clarify something here, go down our record.

[SPEAKER_04]: Everybody, like you look on the internet, when he's crap on Jack, where they only sold like three cars in all of two thousand, twenty-five.

[SPEAKER_04]: The whole focus was, we were going to stop building cars.

[SPEAKER_04]: Do I think that was the way thing to do?

[SPEAKER_04]: No.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think you should have kept building cars, had something in the internet to sell until you do this.

[SPEAKER_07]: So, you know, Jerry McGovern is, you know, how did this I for JLR?

[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_07]: And he's done the latest range rover.

[SPEAKER_07]: He's done the defender.

[SPEAKER_07]: He's a talented designer.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's very talented as I did this, I think, to a larger extent.

[SPEAKER_07]: And I like this, my only complaint, a very simple complaint is, they completely like cut the heritage off, right?

[SPEAKER_07]: You can draw a line from an e-type, or to this.

[SPEAKER_07]: There's nothing, there's a cast in between this and that's a shame.

[SPEAKER_04]: There's a cut, come on over here.

[SPEAKER_04]: There's a couple of things going on here.

[SPEAKER_04]: Number one, I think it's a great interpretation of proportions.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's crazy with and there's crazy look at this, dashed to axles.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's how much space between the foot compartment and the rear of the wheels.

[SPEAKER_04]: Now, that's what changed the proportions.

[SPEAKER_04]: The thing, I spoke with Jerry, the chief designer's car, when he launched it.

[SPEAKER_04]: The one thing he said that it's two things, he said it's coming to production, the wheels, both size and design, as well as the proportions.

[SPEAKER_04]: Now between us chickens, he was telling me it's really going to be like a five door.

[SPEAKER_04]: Now the question is, is it going to continue to be a whole electric car?

[SPEAKER_04]: What do you think?

[SPEAKER_07]: You know, Jaguar just replaced her long standing CEO with the CFO from Taka, which is a parent company.

[SPEAKER_07]: And I think as a guy who probably counts pennies and sees which way the wood is blowing, I think they'll do the same thing that Porsche is doing and other the manufacturers are doing and that's back off the electric.

[SPEAKER_07]: and put some kind of electric, put some kind of a dandelion electric engine.

[SPEAKER_07]: Like you don't like the charger, right?

[SPEAKER_07]: Same thing.

[SPEAKER_04]: They're going to put, they're going to put, it's not much smart enough to engineer that program to accept an engine.

[SPEAKER_04]: You know, the question is, did they engineer this, to accept a gas engine?

[SPEAKER_04]: Probably not.

[SPEAKER_04]: Because they're right.

[SPEAKER_07]: I guess that's what they're working on now.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, they're all in it, I like it, right?

[SPEAKER_04]: The other huge piece that I would share with you.

[SPEAKER_04]: They're coming to the market too late.

[SPEAKER_04]: By the time that comes to market in twenty seven, which is what they told us it's coming, that car will be competing against a totally new generation of Mercedes Electrics, which are going to be fantastic.

[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, let's come over here.

[SPEAKER_04]: Morgan, one of my favorites.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is a Morgan plus four.

[SPEAKER_04]: Now you're looking at Roman and I saying, it looks like any other plus one that came before it.

[SPEAKER_04]: That is where you are wrong.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is no longer a steel frame and a wood, a steel chassis and a wood frame.

[SPEAKER_04]: This, it's not all wood.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's an aluminum top.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's literally built like a modern day like Corvette.

[SPEAKER_04]: I like the three wheeler better.

[SPEAKER_04]: We just shot an episode.

[SPEAKER_04]: Tell Robin you want the episode.

[SPEAKER_04]: Tell Robin you want the episode with Nathan of the free wheeler.

[SPEAKER_04]: Anyway.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is a whole aluminum tub.

[SPEAKER_07]: Did you guys go on like a date in the three wheelers?

[SPEAKER_04]: No, they did a comparison of that with the Polaris and this was so much fun.

[SPEAKER_07]: I could see you guys going to do it.

[SPEAKER_07]: We had a great surprise drive and die there.

[SPEAKER_07]: We did go to a concert together.

[SPEAKER_07]: True story.

[SPEAKER_04]: Totally went to a concert.

[SPEAKER_07]: Nathan wants the cheeseburger and I want the onions.

[SPEAKER_04]: His wife and my girlfriend ditched us.

[SPEAKER_04]: All right.

[SPEAKER_04]: So this is now a tape it's an aluminum tub.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's a BMW engine.

[SPEAKER_07]: You got your wife these speakers.

[SPEAKER_07]: This is my favorite car here.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's an off-road nine eleven.

[SPEAKER_04]: We have to get to know.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I'm going to show you a favorite.

[SPEAKER_07]: If you want a more if you want a more about this head and over to all TFL, I did a complete video on it.

[SPEAKER_07]: No, we're heading to.

[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, can I show you something cool?

[SPEAKER_07]: Of course.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's a electric car going.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, the forget that the Lincoln future.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is one of our neighbors down the airport.

[SPEAKER_04]: So this car comes to airport.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think the Batmobile.

[SPEAKER_04]: Because it was the Batmobile.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is the car that George Barris took and made into the Batmobile.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is the Lincoln Futura concept.

[SPEAKER_04]: So come over here.

[SPEAKER_04]: Now this one's been reinterpreted a little bit.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's got a totally different updated interior, but you can still see the Lincoln Gages on there.

[SPEAKER_07]: Cool.

[SPEAKER_07]: That's right cool.

[SPEAKER_07]: Look at the size of this.

[SPEAKER_07]: Is it a trick?

[SPEAKER_07]: What's under there?

[SPEAKER_04]: It's supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to be supposed to.

[SPEAKER_07]: Alright, let's go look at the coordinates then.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, so two weeks anybody that follows my show knows I go to [SPEAKER_04]: The cars in my yard departing in Detroit every year.

[SPEAKER_04]: And I am a very good friend who is the chief designer of Chevrolet.

[SPEAKER_04]: His name is Phil Zach and he was there and he's like, you're going to dwell on us at yes.

[SPEAKER_04]: He says I'm bringing something special.

[SPEAKER_04]: Not this.

[SPEAKER_04]: However, this is special.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is the fifth-nine sting-right concept.

[SPEAKER_04]: This was designed by none other than Peter Brock, the same guy that raised those gottsons we saw earlier.

[SPEAKER_04]: So basically, he's the one that brought out the concept of what became the C-two.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, come on over here, let me show you something.

[SPEAKER_04]: Excuse me?

[SPEAKER_04]: Look at the interpretation of that design, and now a concept car that will become, I'm not going to say a C-nine, come here, let me show you something else.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, we're getting each other's shots!

[SPEAKER_04]: For us, come here for us for life.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we're live.

[SPEAKER_07]: We're not live.

[SPEAKER_07]: We're recording but it's like the sea man.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is the one and only for us.

[SPEAKER_04]: I thought you hate personal congratulations on mind you kid.

[SPEAKER_04]: Number three.

[SPEAKER_04]: Number three on the way.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know that.

[SPEAKER_02]: For us.

[SPEAKER_02]: For us.

[SPEAKER_02]: For us.

[SPEAKER_02]: For us.

[SPEAKER_02]: For us.

[SPEAKER_02]: For us.

[SPEAKER_02]: For us.

[SPEAKER_02]: For us.

[SPEAKER_02]: For us.

[SPEAKER_02]: The video is awful, it's about a million cropped in, but the pictures are great.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so I really just use it for the pictures, but I don't think it's worth videos.

[SPEAKER_07]: You know, I used it for listening to podcasts.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: All right, let's go back to work.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's okay.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's worth.

[SPEAKER_04]: I've never been this guy.

[SPEAKER_04]: He was like this.

[SPEAKER_04]: He was just like, he's twelve years old now.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's grown up.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's a fairy.

[SPEAKER_04]: I was the same size.

[SPEAKER_02]: He is not okay.

[SPEAKER_07]: So he was in Texas back there.

[SPEAKER_07]: I've known him since he was like this tall before the hair.

[SPEAKER_02]: I think but you know before the kids now he's an old way.

[SPEAKER_07]: We're at long air.

[SPEAKER_07]: Me and him go way back.

[SPEAKER_07]: We went to Japan together with his lovely wife by the way.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that Japan.

[SPEAKER_07]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_02]: What was that right when we went to the underground car me to go like shut down?

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that was so cool.

[SPEAKER_07]: So cool.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, they're like a whole ten minutes.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, so it was like being in the fast and furious movie.

[SPEAKER_02]: And Lexus took us there out of all people when they were.

[SPEAKER_02]: I know.

[SPEAKER_02]: They were the one day of the one, too, like, we're like, let's go.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was even us.

[SPEAKER_02]: And it was Roman that ruined it for everybody, right?

[SPEAKER_02]: It was.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was like being super obvious in the cops were like, no.

[SPEAKER_07]: You know how to get rid of people in Japan, they just turn the sirens on.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's just keep them out.

[SPEAKER_02]: Right?

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they come on for like quarter-by-minute.

[SPEAKER_02]: Good.

[SPEAKER_04]: You guys should look at the accuser and come and deal with your ass.

[SPEAKER_02]: The accuser.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's not like Japanese money.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: We just showed our age there.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: Get back to work first.

[SPEAKER_02]: Bye.

[SPEAKER_04]: So look at this.

[SPEAKER_04]: I want to show you was [SPEAKER_04]: It's not a C-Nine, this is an interpretation of what could be the C-Tent.

[SPEAKER_04]: And C-X get it, get it?

[SPEAKER_04]: So take a look at the daylight opening.

[SPEAKER_04]: What they've done here is they've made it like, remember the arrow head back in the day of the set of the arrow head?

[SPEAKER_04]: That's what they've interpreted.

[SPEAKER_04]: This one is all electric.

[SPEAKER_04]: This one is all electric.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's got a clam shell that opens up here and you climb into it.

[SPEAKER_04]: And the pedals and the steering wheel go forward and backward to let you in and out of the car.

[SPEAKER_04]: That car is not electric.

[SPEAKER_04]: That car is a plug-in hybrid race car that has three electric motors and it get this a two-liter V-eight, sixteen thousand RPM, and then check this out.

[SPEAKER_04]: So what they've done with the diffuser, look at how far the diffuser goes down there.

[SPEAKER_04]: So this is something they've stolen from the four point six million dollar Bugatti terbion, where they put the diffuser in here for downforce.

[SPEAKER_04]: So on the street car, it doesn't need the wing in order to create a higher top speed.

[SPEAKER_07]: So two cool things, we said two liter V-A, right?

[SPEAKER_04]: Two liter V-A.

[SPEAKER_07]: The person's gonna be like that big.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: And I like this no step.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's your favorite thing.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, let's show them what you want to come on over here.

[SPEAKER_04]: You want to come on over here.

[SPEAKER_04]: You want to come on over here.

[SPEAKER_04]: You want to come on over here.

[SPEAKER_04]: You want to come on over here.

[SPEAKER_04]: You want to come on over here.

[SPEAKER_00]: You want to come on over here.

[SPEAKER_00]: You want to come on over here.

[SPEAKER_00]: You want to come on over here.

[SPEAKER_00]: You want to come on over here.

[SPEAKER_00]: You want to come on over here.

[SPEAKER_00]: You want to come on over here.

[SPEAKER_00]: You want to come on over here.

[SPEAKER_00]: You want to come on over here.

[SPEAKER_00]: You want to come on over here.

[SPEAKER_00]: You want to come on over here.

[SPEAKER_00]: You want to come on over here.

[SPEAKER_00]: You want to come on over here.

[SPEAKER_04]: Now, why is Carmen so cool?

[SPEAKER_04]: She is cool because what did your dad do for living?

[SPEAKER_04]: He flew seven, four, seven.

[SPEAKER_04]: All right, he was a he-low pilot.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's meeting her.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's not fun.

[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, we'll talk later.

[SPEAKER_07]: Come on.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, thank you.

[SPEAKER_07]: Bye.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, come here.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, Roman doesn't like that.

[SPEAKER_04]: I was trying to give you guys.

[SPEAKER_07]: I'm trying to teach you that being pervy dude, that's what I'm trying to do.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, here we go.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is the racing, okay, let me get step back for that.

[SPEAKER_04]: This, you see this here?

[SPEAKER_04]: It looks like car.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I love your watch.

[SPEAKER_04]: Love the watch.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, thank you.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is carbon fiber, but the whole concept of the racing.

[SPEAKER_04]: This isn't like high in the sky like design deal.

[SPEAKER_04]: What they've done here is they've tested this with a racing team in North Carolina.

[SPEAKER_04]: So it's not just something that is, oh my god, this will be good.

[SPEAKER_04]: make the car look like this is all based on what kind of top speeds they could hit and this actual arm here can create some balance.

[SPEAKER_07]: Let's show my car that you can actually buy.

[SPEAKER_07]: Well, if you can, but it's close so you could see this is the ZR-IX, the Quail Silver Limited Edition over here.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's the Quail Edition.

[SPEAKER_07]: That's the Quail Edition, yeah.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: So, um, hundred and, uh, two hundred and seventeen thousand dollars in ounce of price, and it just set the American production car number record.

[SPEAKER_04]: So, question for you.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: Do you think that's too much money?

[SPEAKER_07]: No.

[SPEAKER_07]: No.

[SPEAKER_07]: Compared to a GTD, which is going to be twice that?

[SPEAKER_04]: That's not too much.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, GTD's stick of wise is not going to be twice that much.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's like they're like three, fifty.

[SPEAKER_07]: So, a hundred and fifty more.

[SPEAKER_07]: And it's a slower of these around the remembering until we're doing.

[SPEAKER_07]: What do you think of this?

[SPEAKER_07]: A one-off one-ridden.

[SPEAKER_07]: Why would you want a one-off one electric car?

[SPEAKER_07]: They sold it for one seventy-five.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think that's a good investment.

[SPEAKER_07]: No, probably not.

[SPEAKER_07]: But, you know, it went to a charity.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: So something important here.

[SPEAKER_04]: Back to that zero one X.

Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: I spent some time talking with Phil.

[SPEAKER_04]: And I asked him, I said, are you guys gonna limit these cars?

[SPEAKER_04]: Are you gonna make a number edition here?

[SPEAKER_04]: He's like actually technically they're not limited edition.

[SPEAKER_04]: But they are supply constraint.

[SPEAKER_04]: So basically, you know how cumbersome it is to build the answers in our cars?

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: So instead of being able to say we're gonna make five hundred.

[SPEAKER_04]: They're limited by how many of the engines they can build by hand or bowl and drink it up to you.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sports and racing all tonight.

[SPEAKER_04]: And then you're sure to Lamborghini.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, we're talking about the gruntas.

[SPEAKER_07]: So I drove because it was your own contact.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, we can't see out of it.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you can't fit it.

[SPEAKER_03]: I can't.

[SPEAKER_03]: You can't back it up.

[SPEAKER_07]: You can't.

[SPEAKER_03]: You can't do much with it.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but I still love judging process by which.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna I'm gonna know how to take okay?

[SPEAKER_07]: So this is a total typical Lamborghini right this is what establish the DNA of the brand Yeah, I'm here always a little bit less over the top right this was this was like over the top super car But at the time they were a douchey [SPEAKER_07]: which is a, you know, a word for my generation.

[SPEAKER_07]: But like, if you're, if you're like, you know, really indoor and gold chains and turned up collars, this would be the car you would have bought back in the day.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is, this is where I disagree with.

[SPEAKER_04]: They're right there because I think there are two, there's a tail of two Kuntai.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, there's this one, the eighties which people associate with Manny, which you just described.

[SPEAKER_04]: So you're not wrong.

[SPEAKER_04]: However, there is also what's called some very special occurrence.

[SPEAKER_04]: Now people think of my Manny life, I think of Karla and Johnson.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's the same, he had a Ferrari, but the idea was, the contemporary on the Ferrari, but there was also Adam, although Adam's [SPEAKER_04]: He was the marketing director of the Peterson for many, many years ago.

[SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, so the Paris couple was a totally different car.

[SPEAKER_04]: Paris couple didn't have any of this bodywork, no wing.

[SPEAKER_04]: And it had, like, drivers almost a tunnel in the room where instead of having a rear view mirror, you looked for a telescope.

[SPEAKER_04]: to see the back of the car.

[SPEAKER_04]: That car looks very different than this, even though the body is the same.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's the one I think is the same.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's the one I think is the time.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I agree, but so they've got the difference over the years here, right?

[SPEAKER_05]: But they're all kind of the same people, right?

[SPEAKER_05]: Except that one, which doesn't have the wing.

[SPEAKER_07]: Look at how much more mature this looks in that car.

[SPEAKER_03]: How different are it?

[SPEAKER_03]: All right, well let's wrap this up here.

[SPEAKER_04]: We've been going almost an hour.

[SPEAKER_04]: You want to wrap up on NSXT and Ashton Martin?

[SPEAKER_07]: Well we started with Ashton.

[SPEAKER_07]: Wouldn't it be fitting to finish with Ashton?

[SPEAKER_07]: I think so, yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: Especially like the muscle car Ashton Martin.

[SPEAKER_04]: The James Bond Ashton Martin.

[SPEAKER_04]: Or late James Bond.

[SPEAKER_07]: This isn't V-H-A-D-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H-H [SPEAKER_04]: Actually, we should be there with a question.

[SPEAKER_04]: What's your favorite James Bond cars?

[SPEAKER_04]: Doesn't have to be an astronaut.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's a seven series game.

[SPEAKER_07]: I'm kidding.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, wait a minute.

[SPEAKER_04]: We end up in that.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, we've got to show him a typo.

[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I don't know anything about the tip of it.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, my God.

[SPEAKER_04]: Look at this.

[SPEAKER_04]: The interior of this car is worth the extra time, Roman.

[SPEAKER_07]: So Alfa Romeo does have a stand here, which is cool.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, they had standing with this car.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is one of these kind of like one offs.

[SPEAKER_04]: They made, you know, don't coat me on this.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think they're making thirty of them.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's like two point seven million dollars.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, my God.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's effectively a mazerati.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's an MC-twenty with a stunning body.

[SPEAKER_07]: Well, first of all, it's got this beautiful.

[SPEAKER_07]: What's the Ferrari Red?

[SPEAKER_07]: It's Rosso Corsa, right?

[SPEAKER_07]: That's the Ferrari Red.

[SPEAKER_07]: Rosso Corsa.

[SPEAKER_07]: But what's the?

[SPEAKER_07]: What's the?

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what the alpha color is, but that is the same red you saw on the ATC, which was also a special car back in the day.

[SPEAKER_04]: And you know what here's the top tip.

[SPEAKER_04]: In the collector car market, believe it or not, you lost money if you bought one of those cars new.

[SPEAKER_07]: I heard the ATC isn't drive well, but it's a little great.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's garbage.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's actually, it doesn't drive as well as your modern day for oil, the contemporary for oil.

[SPEAKER_04]: But when you consider that it's more rare than the contemporary for oil, that's the thing.

[SPEAKER_04]: All right, let me ask you this.

[SPEAKER_07]: Before you show me interior, what color does that remind you of a me outer color?

[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, crystal, crystal.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, crystal, so metallic.

[SPEAKER_04]: And you shave yourself two point six five million dollars.

[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, the interior is gorgeous.

[SPEAKER_04]: But look at the details.

[SPEAKER_04]: Number one, look at how this is exactly out of the original tip row.

[SPEAKER_04]: But then everything, you have a screen, yes, there.

[SPEAKER_04]: And they have a screen, yes, there.

[SPEAKER_04]: But look, they still render the gauge is almost mechanically on each side of the IP.

[SPEAKER_04]: And then there's toggle switches on the top over the driver, like an airplane.

[SPEAKER_07]: Or like, [SPEAKER_04]: Raptor or a Bugatti Turbion, which this is half the price.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, or any of those printed ear.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, very cool.

[SPEAKER_04]: You had one.

[SPEAKER_07]: I had one.

[SPEAKER_04]: Did you lose money on that?

[SPEAKER_07]: uh you know we probably lost we've I think you pay like eighty two for it and we had up selling it for like seventy five so but we really had it for two months we made all that sweeter and we made all that sweeter that's right yeah all that sweet and it's got the same effect is power what is it with all for me how can they can build this and then the same company comes out you know and does their crossovers [SPEAKER_04]: You know, I've got an answer that's not fact.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's just my interpretation.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think this is the vision of one person.

[SPEAKER_04]: And the Alpha Rameo is a vision of many different people in many different boardrooms and many different countries.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: That is the problem with philanthropists.

[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, too many brands going to do many different directions.

[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, the Tonale, you know what I mean?

[SPEAKER_07]: I didn't say the other word that a lot of Americans are thinking, right?

[SPEAKER_07]: They didn't do any research like, hey, [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: You know, it might sound a little bit like something else that's on your phone.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's a weird name, yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's very strange name.

[SPEAKER_07]: And the studio's okay, right?

[SPEAKER_04]: Actually, the point of fact, what does it have a well-tone name?

[SPEAKER_07]: Isn't it a bowl of finding bowl, right?

[SPEAKER_07]: Every language.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's a finding bowl that means agitated.

[SPEAKER_04]: But what they didn't realize, it also means scrambled eggs and spattish.

[SPEAKER_07]: And Tonale and what was the other one I'm going to give it now?

[SPEAKER_07]: A studio, right?

[SPEAKER_07]: Those are named after Italian mountain pass.

[SPEAKER_04]: Mountain pass, yes.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's unfortunate.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's unfortunate because it's a great brand and I'd love someone to be a better steward of it.

[SPEAKER_04]: But here's a big question for you.

[SPEAKER_04]: Let's say for the sake of discussion tomorrow, it's for you to buy it, not that they would.

[SPEAKER_04]: But let's say they did and they threw their resources at it.

[SPEAKER_04]: Do you think there's enough of a market outside of BMW Mercedes and Audi that people would consider a good [SPEAKER_07]: You know, Mark Ioanyi, Mark, you know, the old CEO of Stellantis.

[SPEAKER_07]: He said there were three brands that were crucial to the company.

[SPEAKER_07]: It was cheap.

[SPEAKER_07]: It was, what was the other one?

[SPEAKER_07]: Alfred Mayer was one of them.

[SPEAKER_07]: And I think it was Ram.

[SPEAKER_07]: I think those are the three brands.

[SPEAKER_07]: So yeah, Alfred Mayer is worldwide.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's well known.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: Formula one.

[SPEAKER_07]: But they just can't seem to get like their mojo back from pre-war.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's because they have too many things going on.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's kind of like, do you remember?

[SPEAKER_04]: That's what Ferrari left.

[SPEAKER_04]: Left, Alfa Romeo, right?

[SPEAKER_04]: That was to float the company and make money.

[SPEAKER_04]: That was a money grant.

[SPEAKER_04]: Do you remember Alan Molly back in the last four years?

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I remember what you just mentioned.

[SPEAKER_04]: That should probably shouldn't go that close.

[SPEAKER_04]: Let's turn around.

[SPEAKER_04]: He came in and famously said, we're showing all these brands.

[SPEAKER_04]: What do you think of this?

[SPEAKER_04]: I love this.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is a this real experience.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's a Ferrari.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's a third brand.

[SPEAKER_04]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_04]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_04]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_04]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_07]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_04]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_04]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_04]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_04]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_04]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_04]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_04]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_07]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_07]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_07]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_07]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_07]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_07]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_07]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_07]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_07]: It was a third brand.

[SPEAKER_04]: So Marke only came in.

[SPEAKER_04]: He was focusing on things, but the island was already a Ford, a decade, not a decade prior.

[SPEAKER_04]: He came in in, when the company still had the Premier Automotive Group, and they were selling Lincoln as an astronaut, and the land rovers.

[SPEAKER_04]: And he said, you know what?

[SPEAKER_04]: We're getting rid of all the extraneous brands.

[SPEAKER_04]: We're only focusing on two, Lincoln and Ford.

[SPEAKER_04]: And people looked at him like, are you crazy?

[SPEAKER_04]: Turns out, Marke's there.

[SPEAKER_04]: Look at him.

[SPEAKER_04]: Because he focused.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's basically, that's life advice.

[SPEAKER_07]: The other thing he did, which was smart, was he, you know, said one forward, one row, one car, you know, so he built the same car for Europe, the focus, the Fiesta, and got rid of the kind of those kind of clumsy, like the Taurus, right?

[SPEAKER_07]: These cars that were just old school American, they did [SPEAKER_07]: Resonate anymore, but unfortunately, you know, we're kind of back to that.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's always, and Ford.

[SPEAKER_04]: Especially companies like BMW, they slice the pie so much.

[SPEAKER_04]: But now they're starting to roll it back.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, because you don't need it too serious, Grant.

[SPEAKER_07]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's too much.

[SPEAKER_04]: So basically, we thought we'd start talking about cars, but really, this is life's advice to old men.

[SPEAKER_07]: To that.

[SPEAKER_07]: All right, guys.

[SPEAKER_07]: Older man right here.

[SPEAKER_07]: Old man.

[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you guys for watching.

[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you, Motorman.

[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you for joining us.

[SPEAKER_07]: And where's people going to want to see Orban?

[SPEAKER_07]: Motorman TV on all the socials.

[SPEAKER_07]: And we'll see you next time.

[SPEAKER_07]: Ciao.
