Episode Description

Episode 14: This week in the pub we're lucky enough to get a double feature from author and audiobook producer Antoine Bandele. We start the episode by diving into his work with African Folklore then switch gears and get into the nitty gritty of audiobook production for indie authors.

Antoine Bandele is the author of The Kishi, By Sea and Sky, the TJ Young and the Orishas series as well as many other works. He’s also the founder of the audiobook production company AB Book Services.

Here's what Antoine thinks you should be checking out right now.

Indie: The Underrealm Series by Garrett Robinson, Starlion by Leon Langford, The Shadow Sovereign Series by Vona Stewart, and anything by G.L. Thomas

Everything Else: Squid Game on Netflix

Our Drink for this episode is the Moscow Mule. Vodka, gingerbeer, lime, perfect.

The Moscow Mule

2-3oz Vodka

8-12oz Ginger Beer

Juice from 1/4-1/2 Lime

Add ice to a copper mug if you have it (trust us, it's just better. The slight metallic taste adds a lot to this drink.)  add the vodka, lime juice and ginger beer and stir slowly so you can chill the drink without wrecking the carbonation. Rub the spend lime peel on the rim and drop it in for garnish. Enjoy.
