Episode Transcript
[SPEAKER_02]: We're well done, we're past championship week and everything and is it kind of surprising that we haven't heard anything on Coach J.P.
yet.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I find it pretty surprising, especially, you know, with Patrick Sertan senior being the first guy at Fortosate, let's go and there's no other announcements after that.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then we'll get in the day of a Johnson, but you know, Fortosate isn't necessarily making a decision here.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's really him making a decision to go ahead and head over to the SEC and join Arkansas after six seasons at Fortosate.
[SPEAKER_01]: But there are some guys on this coaching staff at Fortosate, they have to make a decision [SPEAKER_01]: obligated to make a decision on.
[SPEAKER_01]: And John Pappucius is one of those guys along with Tony Tokars, Chris Thompson, and I believe Odell as well.
[SPEAKER_01]: All four of those guys will have their contracts expire on February 28, 2026.
[SPEAKER_01]: So there's going to be something coming out on those four ideally pretty soon, whether that's four to state retaining them for another season or parting ways and looking for a new [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I would imagine in the case of John Pupuchas at this time, it's just kind of hard to justify why he would be retained on this coaching staff.
[SPEAKER_05]: Hey guys, it's Tersten Ann.
[SPEAKER_05]: You're listening to hear this beer presented about no game day.
[SPEAKER_05]: Go Dose.
[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, what's up?
[SPEAKER_06]: This is piece of work.
[SPEAKER_06]: A.K.
[SPEAKER_06]: He does.
[SPEAKER_06]: In the house.
[SPEAKER_06]: So we're listening to hear this beer.
[SPEAKER_06]: He's in about no game day.
[SPEAKER_06]: Go live.
[SPEAKER_06]: Go nose.
[SPEAKER_00]: Hi, this is Charlie Ward, and you're listening to hear the spirit, don't know.
[SPEAKER_06]: This is Torrell Fuckley, he's listening to hear the spirit, doesn't it find no things they know, bloody.
[SPEAKER_06]: But perhaps better known as the greatest corner that ever stepped in a football field, beyond crime time sanding.
[SPEAKER_06]: Great, it's beyond selling my focus.
[SPEAKER_06]: Let's cut open, man.
[SPEAKER_06]: I can wake up to that ingredient every day, man.
[SPEAKER_05]: That was awesome.
[SPEAKER_05]: Hello, those fans, this is former Feminist Derek Brooks, the year listening to Here's The Spear, presented to you by no game day.
[SPEAKER_06]: James Wilder Jr.
[SPEAKER_06]: What's going on, James?
[SPEAKER_06]: It brings perhaps me on F-R-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T [SPEAKER_02]: What's happening, guys?
[SPEAKER_02]: This is Logan Robinson, here at The Spirit, presenting to by nogamy.com with your live, wonderful fantastic Monday after noon.
[SPEAKER_02]: And we've got a lot to talk about.
[SPEAKER_02]: Fourth State, just hired a new past rush assisting coach, also to David Johnson, Florida State's running backs coach, is headed to the SEC and going to Arkansas.
[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to give him our thoughts on what [SPEAKER_02]: That means for Florida State and that current running back room going into 2026 of us go also have a little bit more further on Tommy Castellanos that waiver getting denied.
[SPEAKER_02]: uh...
for him minor vell spoke on it we touch on a little bit and last week's show but there's more to talk about what this with florist a pursuing or at least in contact with a divisional two quarterback or i was going to speak on uh...
florist a declining to play in a ballgame they were a handful of teams that had the opportunity with five ones to go play in a ballgame but for state denied that they did not want to get involved [SPEAKER_02]: So we'll give our thoughts on that along with two pasts or tan who is just recently let go by the seminals he had a strong response to that and then we've got a big transfer port of my opinion who I was high on a freshman defensive end has entered the transfer portal for Florida State.
[SPEAKER_02]: So we've got a handful of things Dilo here for our Monday episode of the week up everybody has had a great weekend [SPEAKER_02]: As we always say, yes, the season's over and it's sadly over earlier than usual.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, not usual, but we're starting to get used to this for the season ends early for Florida State which sucks, but man, the new cycle and staff changes and transfer portal and retaining players.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it just goes on and on.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's a very, very busy December in January for this coaching staff.
[SPEAKER_01]: It never slows down.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think the real break begins late January, early February, but I mean, like you said, even with Florida State, no longer having any football games scheduled for the rest of 2025, they're still gonna be a lot of activity.
[SPEAKER_01]: We've already seen some of it with coaching changes as far as guys being like, oh, or now I do addition to Mike Norville, Staff, and Tallahassee.
[SPEAKER_01]: The transfer portal action is gonna heat up as well.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, guys can, [SPEAKER_01]: declare their intentions to enter the portal right now, and then I'd officially get started.
[SPEAKER_01]: January 2nd when that 15 day window opens up.
[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, stick with us.
[SPEAKER_01]: It is not going to slow down here.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I got to feel on this week is going to be a pretty busy one.
[SPEAKER_02]: Dustin, you know, we're just talking before we live.
[SPEAKER_02]: Usually, you know, you're the one that sleeps in a little bit.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm a little bit earlier and such, but you take care of definitely the big.
[SPEAKER_02]: big hitter news like this now we got to set that alarm a little bit earlier man.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is how busy it's going to be here the next couple of weeks going in the January.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's just how it goes but Dustin and the team do a great job at nogany.com so if you guys want to read into some of this stuff further feel free go right ahead but here on the show let's go ahead and get started if you're here with us on YouTube smack a like button also to if you have any comments or topics you want us to go through.
[SPEAKER_02]: though I'm here in the chat and we'll try to get to as many as possible.
[SPEAKER_02]: But let's get started here.
[SPEAKER_02]: Florida stayed a lot of questions already and the comments about the new hire, their past rush coach, Nick Williams coming from Syracuse.
[SPEAKER_02]: It was announced today per ESPN's P.
Tamil that he would be joining the Florida State Seminoles.
[SPEAKER_02]: He spent the last two seasons at Syracuse.
[SPEAKER_02]: And he actually was able to develop [SPEAKER_02]: But deal digs who ended up being a seventh round pick of the 2025 NFL draft.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think he only had one year to work with him.
[SPEAKER_02]: Is that correct?
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but it was interesting because, you know, we'll get into all of his previous stocks, but he had worked at Texas A&M for a couple of seasons.
[SPEAKER_01]: That was where he originally, you know, met digs.
[SPEAKER_01]: He was a defensive analyst at the time.
[SPEAKER_01]: And whenever he went to Syracuse, ahead of that 20, 24 season, digs in enter the transfer portal, he was able to convince him to transfer from ANM to Syracuse.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then digs has a career year.
[SPEAKER_01]: And like you said, Logan goes on to be selected in the seventh round of the most recent NFL draft.
[SPEAKER_02]: So going through a little bit of his career as coaching background, he actually began at Georgia as a student assisting actually played at Georgia for the Bulldogs and also was a grad assistant from 2019 to 2020.
[SPEAKER_02]: He was on staff and Dustin can give a little bit more some details on this, but helped Holland a lot of recruiting.
[SPEAKER_02]: Guys, a lot of proven talent that he was able to bring into the class something that I mean, it's it's been a theme through, you know, Norvell's 10 year with his assistants, you know, there's top tier talent that can probably come in and make an immediate factor for you and they put themselves in the top three.
[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes a top two, but when it comes down to early signing day, [SPEAKER_02]: it just does not go right for Florida State, but his time at Georgia he was able to be very successful there held the number one recruiting class in 2018 and 2020 number two class in 2019.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like you mentioned, defensive analyst at Texas A&M in 2021.
[SPEAKER_02]: Whenever the Aggies had the number one recruiting class in 2022, he actually worked with Deon Sanders at Colorado in 2023, [SPEAKER_02]: there and like I mentioned he actually played at Jordan also to transferred over to North Alabama.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now the situation here, you know, you have Terrence 9 as your defensive lines coach, but this is primarily going to be coming off the edge there and that will be his primary focus moving forward.
[SPEAKER_02]: But like I just mentioned though, Dustin, I mean, I think [SPEAKER_02]: fans of course they want to see development there most certainly at your edge position and we'll talk a little further about what they have in that room where you're excited to see development happen hopefully with Williams coming in but also to the recruiting side of things is something that for state has lacked heavily and that department of missing out on some guys.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now you're hoping that Nick Williams can come help you on that front with the recruiting of the high school but also too in the transfer portal too as well.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think, you know, on paper, it's a high upside hire for Florida State.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Nick Williams doesn't necessarily have a ton of experience.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, only three years as a position coach at the FBS level.
[SPEAKER_01]: But like we've said, you know, he's already produced an NFL drap pick.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's done some pretty impressive things on the recruiting trail.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, there were two defensive ends and Sarah Q's 2026 class, you know, that just signed.
[SPEAKER_01]: last week, three star defensive in Jerry's Rogers and three star defensive in Cameron Wilson and those were both two guys out of the Sunshine State who four to state offered four to state pursued and they ultimately signed with Syracuse and Nick Williams was their primary recruiter at the time.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, just shows, you know, he went up against four to state on their courting drill.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm still able to get those guys over to the orange four years working at Georgia [SPEAKER_01]: Under Kirby Smart, I mean, that can only be very helpful to someone's coaching career, then going over there and continuing to stay in the SEC under Jim Boe Fisher at Texas A&M.
[SPEAKER_01]: Finally, got his start as a position coach in 2023 with Deon Sanders first staff there.
[SPEAKER_01]: at Colorado.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then like we've talked about, he's been at Syracuse for the past two seasons.
[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see how this goes.
[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, I think Forta State was looking for another guy to come in and help with those defensive ends, considering the lack of production and lack of consistency we've seen the last two seasons.
[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, with that continuing in 2025, even with Terrence Knight and coming over to Coach.
[SPEAKER_01]: the entirety of the defensive line, and the interior, you know, I thought that was for the most part pretty solid for FSU throughout this season.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, maybe that'll just help that defensive front with two guys, putting their focus up there, and you're also still going to have Odell over their shoulders with his boom and voice, you know, even with him, moving to an off-field roll.
[SPEAKER_01]: He was still heavily involved this past season.
[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see if this higher can out four to state make a resurgence on that defensive front.
[SPEAKER_01]: But I think this guy has shown, you know, he's a developer of talent.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's able to get in recruits years and he's also a Georgia native.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, we'll see if all of these ties can help four to state.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's got to help as well.
[SPEAKER_02]: And also two was involved while at Texas A&M getting Walter Nolan and there who ended up being at first round pick number 16th overall who was, uh, [SPEAKER_02]: selected to go to the Arizona Cardinals there as well.
[SPEAKER_02]: So he's able to do some good stuff on the recruiting trail for you as well and not that it's going to be a fact there at least at the high school level this because the class is practically already wrapped up for you.
[SPEAKER_02]: But now you really look into what he could do potentially for you in the transfer portal.
[SPEAKER_02]: How is that enticed?
[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I immediately think of because Florida State still needs to find help there.
[SPEAKER_02]: What they grabbed this last [SPEAKER_02]: As Ben A bust for Florida State, I think, yes, you feel strongly about some of these younger guys do you?
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we do.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the this year twins and what you have there, and maybe you could throw in a Mario Williams in there as well, but they are going to look for a veteran guy with hopefully a lot of efficiency when his last stop or where he comes from and that transfer portal at Ed.
[SPEAKER_02]: that it's going to start bumping really quickly here with a lot of player meetings happening across the country.
[SPEAKER_02]: So there's going to be potential guys out there and hopefully you would hope that Nick Williams can help jump that forward for you because that's something Florida State desperately needs going into this next season because yes, I think from the inside with Terrence Knighton, he did not have a whole ton to work with.
[SPEAKER_02]: You can say it was, [SPEAKER_02]: then also to what you have a Daniel Lyons, but they did not have a guy's back there behind those two, then God, you know, Darrell Jackson was able to stay healthy, Daniel Lyons, able to go throughout the season as well.
[SPEAKER_02]: If that weren't, there'd be the case for a state's offensive line would be a major, major concern.
[SPEAKER_02]: It was a major concern for us going into the season.
[SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't a phenomenal group.
[SPEAKER_02]: but they still got to do a better job across the board across that whole entire defensive line and bringing in some talent and it's going to be a lot on the shoulders of nickwims off the edge moving forward this off season.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I think last year, you know, for the state, they simply didn't a poor job and [SPEAKER_01]: their evaluations and you know, they also got unlucky with some injuries there as far as guys they brought in on that transfer hall, but, you know, that relationship between Terrence Knight and Tony White, that was a big reason that they brought James Williams over to Florida State.
[SPEAKER_01]: There was a belief he could develop from [SPEAKER_01]: a past rushing specialist to an every down defensive end and you know that was obviously a bus like you mentioned four four to state Logan and you know Alabama took advantage of that early in the season I think from that point on he was mainly in there for passing downs and [SPEAKER_01]: just wasn't very productive for four to say.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then those other two guys that they got and wanted to get some production from Jason Jenkins, you know, dealt with an Achilles injury.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that really seemed to limit him even though he was able to make it back for the beginning of the season.
[SPEAKER_01]: He was just never the same.
[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, he's going to need to continue to recover and get his explosiveness back as he gets further and further away from that injury he suffered in the spring.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then same thing with the Montage Diggs, you know, we saw him get a sack [SPEAKER_01]: against Alabama, and then I believe he was injured in the second game suffered a neck injury and wasn't able to return for the remainder of the 20-25 season.
[SPEAKER_01]: So some busts, some bad evaluations, and then really just some bad luck for Florida State.
[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, if what Nick Williams has done during his three years as a position coach, we'll see if he's able to go into that transfer portal and bring in some guys that can make an immediate impact.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I see some comments in here too about the linebacker room and that's the next thing that we're keeping a very close eye on, you know, I think everybody was shocked that Sir Tan was the first to be let go, but that linebacker room needs a complete rehauling all across the board and needs a hard reset there, and I don't think the product from what you've seen from even the linebacker play, but also two special teams has been a major lack of focus, I believe, and that's all under the [SPEAKER_02]: the shoulders of jump approaches they've got to find a new coach there we've all agreed on that here on this show and they've got to find better recruiters that can do that for you as well guys that can you [SPEAKER_02]: stick stick those commitments and get to the signings.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I know they just landed, uh, they feel good about, you know, the lineback of the abroad in this last class.
[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, he was highly ranked before that injury and such.
[SPEAKER_02]: And it was great that they were able to keep him in that fold, but still nonetheless.
[SPEAKER_02]: So Florida State has lacked in that department for a very long time.
[SPEAKER_02]: And you could even point back to, I mean, it's been a [SPEAKER_02]: throughout the last couple of coaching staffs.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, even there for for Jimbo Fisher at the end.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, for some reason Florida State's linebacker core has just completely evaporated outside of your one highlighted a couple of years there with Tatum Bethune and Katelyn Deloge with the side piece of DJ Lunday.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's just that's just been, it's been piss poor.
[SPEAKER_02]: And they've got to do a better job at that second level.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I think Tony Whitey, that's going to be a big higher [SPEAKER_02]: Now, we still haven't heard, though, and it's pretty shocking.
[SPEAKER_02]: And we're here Monday, December 8th, and we're well done.
[SPEAKER_02]: We're past championship weekend, everything.
[SPEAKER_02]: And is it kind of surprising that we haven't heard anything on Coach J.P.
yet?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I find it pretty surprising, especially, you know, with Patrick Sertan senior being the first guy at Forta St.
Let's Go, and there's no other announcements after that, and then we'll get in the David Johnson, but you know, Forta St.
isn't necessarily making a decision here.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's really him making the decision to go ahead and head over to the SEC and join Arkansas after six seasons at Forta St.
but there are some guys on this coaching staff at Forta [SPEAKER_01]: obligated to make a decision on.
[SPEAKER_01]: And John Pappucius is one of those guys along with Tony Tocars, Chris Thompson, and I believe Odo, as well, all four of those guys will have their contracts expire on February 28, 2026.
[SPEAKER_01]: So there's going to be something coming out on those four ideally pretty soon, whether that's Florida State retaining them for another season or parting ways and looking [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I would imagine in the case of John Pappu, just at this time, it's just kind of hard to justify why he would be retained on this coaching staff.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the linebackers, we thought this could be one of the deepest rooms for Fort estate and about a decade and, you know, it was a.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was a major disappointment for the most part.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the transfers you brought in didn't live up to the standard that you expected the guys who returned didn't take that necessary growth that we for saw leading up to the season.
[SPEAKER_01]: And like you said, Logan, the special teams.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's just been an absolute disaster for four to say.
[SPEAKER_01]: And there's a reason that they lost multiple games this season, especially that NC State, the buckle.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, even with the defensive ends, you know, [SPEAKER_01]: development.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, came from guys who were transfers and you kind of already knew what you were going to get.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Germaine Johnson was a highly regarded guy coming to Forte Sates.
[SPEAKER_01]: So was Jared Burse, even though he was making the move from the FCS to FBS level key or Thomas same thing at the production at South Carolina before he came over to Forte Sates.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I understand, you know, there were some strides made there.
[SPEAKER_01]: with Patrick Payton, but all of that is kind of washed away when you saw what happened last year during that 2024 campaign.
[SPEAKER_01]: And a guy who you build up from a three star to a starter at four to state, then leaves and goes ahead and transfers to LSU.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, those decisions, they're gonna need to be made in the near future.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think four to say it's gonna wait until February 28th, 2026 to make that a little bit more fun for the other, well, [SPEAKER_02]: we just saw the shit show that this administration has just put through this fan base that wouldn't be one of the can't say it to be a shock or something like that would happen.
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, just an organized and waiting and procrastination.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what you call it from this administration, but it wouldn't, you know, that's that's a sad thing, but that's most certainly should not and won't be the case for Florida State.
[SPEAKER_02]: But like, [SPEAKER_02]: I think you brought up a good point there du with, you know, those are guys that came in and immediate, you know, I say expertise during verse, yes, you played with the lesser opponents in such, but he was on a different level.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's a reason why he was a first round pick and defensive rookie of the year.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like that.
[SPEAKER_02]: He was proven for you and had to do a whole ton with them trust me.
[SPEAKER_02]: We were there at the practices, the first practices he was there.
[SPEAKER_02]: He was absolutely dominating the living hell out of any tackle that he was facing.
[SPEAKER_02]: This wasn't even close.
[SPEAKER_02]: There was no competition there and Florida State was just really lucky to get him.
[SPEAKER_02]: And we all know what Dermaine Johnson was coming from Georgia coming in to tell us.
[SPEAKER_02]: That was a.
[SPEAKER_02]: a massive pickup there, but I go to like a guy like Marvin Jones Jr.
where, you know, you knew that you were going to have to develop him.
[SPEAKER_02]: You were going to have to work with him to make him better improve his play, and it was going to take a good while.
[SPEAKER_02]: Nothing happened.
[SPEAKER_02]: Nothing happened when Marvin Jones Jr.
That was, you know.
[SPEAKER_02]: It was a legacy guy.
[SPEAKER_02]: There was a lot of excitement there.
[SPEAKER_02]: Former five star went to Georgia, Georgia, could not develop him, Kirby Smart.
[SPEAKER_02]: If they can't develop you there, for a state thought that they maybe could do it on their end with JP, just now was not going to happen.
[SPEAKER_02]: Didn't happen.
[SPEAKER_02]: Then you also saw Pat Payton's play fall off because he didn't have Jared Burst on the other side.
[SPEAKER_02]: He at Marvin Jones Jr.
Who, what I just said, not, you know, a bust as well on the transfer board of four state has a busted quite a pit outside.
[SPEAKER_02]: And now it's like two for two, I'd say.
[SPEAKER_02]: and luckily you got carried by a guy like Jared Versus, you know.
[SPEAKER_02]: make a name for himself and the league as we speak and drain Johnson is over there with the jets coming back from an injury, but he's a solid piece for the jets as well on that defense.
[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I mean, they've got to find a new linebacker's coach that's who that's what JP's coachy now.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I think this is a solid pick up here for for to stay for I like it almost more on the side of the recruiting trail of things.
[SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully they can find some [SPEAKER_02]: You know, being able to recruit there and Georgia as well or Nick way edge, you mean you're talking Nick way.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm over here on that.
[SPEAKER_02]: Williams again.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going everywhere.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm all across the board.
[SPEAKER_02]: But I think it's I think it's a solid pickup there and, you know, he's got the background.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he's able to bring in some strong talent.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that pickup to a Walter Nolan was huge for him to add to his, you know, resume.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, an interesting for a guy like that to make a leap to Florida state where, I mean, there's no guarantee Mike Revelle is still here after this 2010 big season, but I mean, I guess they're accused, you know, they had their issues and I'm not being the best body there.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, but I will add just on one last note on JB, I mean, having him on staff, it hasn't come without a hefty investment from four to state $800,000 this past season.
[SPEAKER_01]: Do you feel like you got $800,000 worth of production from your linebackers or special teams unit?
[SPEAKER_01]: I hate to tell you.
[SPEAKER_01]: I hate to tell you.
[SPEAKER_02]: But no.
[SPEAKER_02]: No.
[SPEAKER_02]: So that's one that we'll probably, I don't know.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, maybe we'll be speaking on that during Wednesday night's show with these, uh, given thoughts on, you know, J.P.s.
[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, tenure at Florida State.
[SPEAKER_02]: We can do a great deep dive.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then I'm sure everybody would be excited to hear that.
[SPEAKER_02]: But, [SPEAKER_02]: Real quick though, some about David Johnson we pointed on that.
[SPEAKER_02]: We actually talked about it earlier Last week, but now it's official Came out this morning that he is going to indeed take that Arkansas job over there What are your thoughts on this one?
[SPEAKER_02]: Do you know?
[SPEAKER_02]: to me, and we've been around the program, Bennett practice is all across the board.
[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, David Johnson is highly liked around this program, not only just, you know, the players really love them, really like them, but also to just people inside that building at the more.
[SPEAKER_02]: and a lot of their crew's families, everything.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's a likely, I really like them.
[SPEAKER_02]: We got to speak a whole ton with him.
[SPEAKER_02]: He would allow me to depict his brain on things after practices and such, and you don't usually get all that kind of access, but he was very open as well in transparent.
[SPEAKER_02]: But now, you know, [SPEAKER_02]: He ends up, you know, he's going to be leaving for the state.
[SPEAKER_02]: This has been a room that has been always revolving with talent with him.
[SPEAKER_02]: Some of those guys even being walk-ons that we've talked about beforehand, like a CJ Campbell, Trishon Ward, going to be in a starter for you.
[SPEAKER_02]: I was able to develop those guys and do some things.
[SPEAKER_02]: But your thoughts here on, you know, David Johnson, moving on from the program.
[SPEAKER_01]: Little surprising, you know, [SPEAKER_01]: Kind of like what you said, though, I mean a popular guy in the building someone that mesh pretty well with recruits and I mean seems like a good dude.
[SPEAKER_01]: on and off the field.
[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, he ultimately is the one that made this decision to go over there and work at Arkansas.
[SPEAKER_01]: Going to be joining up with Ryan Silverfield, who was hired as the head coach from Memphis a couple of weeks ago.
[SPEAKER_01]: And we talked about it on Friday, but Johnson and Silverfield did work together previously spent two years together on that Memphis staff when Norville was still the head coach over there for the Tigers and now Silverfield, you know, looking to build out his first coaching staff there at Arkansas.
[SPEAKER_01]: Bring an over Johnson, which I think looks like a good higher from the outside going in just because of the production of four to state has had and that running back room.
[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, send in trade Vincent to the NFL draft and you've got a reference at their logo.
[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, a lot of guys who came in and necessarily weren't expected to make major impacts went on to rise up and make some plays for four to state.
[SPEAKER_01]: Whether that's Trashon Ward and TJ Campbell.
[SPEAKER_01]: as walk-on's, you know, Lawrence Toa Filly, stuck with the Seminoles after the coaching change came in and had a pretty productive career here with the Seminoles, Jason Corbin, one of the first transfers that Florida State landed out of the portal.
[SPEAKER_01]: And even as last season, I mean, you saw the promising flashes from Samuel Singleton, Jr., and he was named Chroma, and [SPEAKER_01]: you know, I know the running back rotation was frustrating, but that's ultimately something that Gus Melzon decides a lot of that aspect of.
[SPEAKER_02]: I wonder if there had anything to do with it, you know, and others being even if that had anything to do.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, not saying that was a soul reason why, you know, David Johnson's not going to, you know, coach for four state again, but, you know, maybe they weren't on the same line there on who should be out there in the rotation and all that kind of stuff.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure, yeah, that was quite a frustrating aspect of all of that because I mean, even for fans and media watching, it's just hard to understand why you've got to running back out there for one or two plays, switch them out, bring another guy, and you know, before the end of the first half, four to say it's already at four or five, six running backs, touch football ball, and it's just tough to, you were about to go in and play running back, actually, you had the opportunity.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we'll see how it goes, not immediately sure who Florida State is going to pursue here to try and replace Johnson at FSU, but I mean, it's certainly a loss.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he was one of the last remaining position coaches that had been at Florida State since Mike Moreville began his tenure until Hassey was also listed as Florida State's recruiting coordinator.
[SPEAKER_01]: And obviously, that's been a [SPEAKER_01]: a part of the program that's been a pretty mixed bag for FSU just struggled to develop high school prospects and develop them haven't landed a top 10 class since Mike Moreville got to tell us I think the highest one was number 11 in 2024 [SPEAKER_01]: 23 signings in that class six of them have already transferred your top recruit Luke Kromenock obviously departed from four to state after just one season.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, we'll see how four to state moves forward from here, but I think, you know, you do have some promising talent still in that running back room.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you can retain Singleton Jr.
Kromen, this off season, we'll see what happens ultimately with Cam Davis, who [SPEAKER_01]: red-shirted this past season, then you signed four-star running back a local talent, a marie Thomas in this twenty twenty-six class.
[SPEAKER_01]: So whoever the next guy is that comes in, he's got some pieces to work with.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and that's the immediate question for me, along with probably the fans is retaining.
[SPEAKER_02]: And of course, number one, you want to have your guy, Usman Kralma, come back and, you know, how does David Johnson affect that, moving forward him, leaving?
[SPEAKER_02]: How does that, you know, change things or Usman Kralma?
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it's specifically changes a whole ton, yes, Florida State was doing a lot of recruiting for him throughout his high school cycle, but he was committed to Georgia where they were at the last second to make any huge flip.
[SPEAKER_02]: get him from Georgia over to Florida State and not saying though that you know that David Johnson didn't have an impact and relationship of course with Usman Kromov.
[SPEAKER_02]: Mike Rubo was big there.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Mike was visiting what every game almost.
[SPEAKER_02]: He visited like the number one player.
[SPEAKER_01]: Not every game.
[SPEAKER_02]: Not every game he read as it did.
[SPEAKER_02]: Robert Dickillus Mountie said.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think at least once every year and he had watched Kromov.
[SPEAKER_01]: not only play football, but also during his basketball seasons as well.
[SPEAKER_01]: So this was a recruitment that Norvel was personally invested in.
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_02]: So that leans on Norvel, which gives you a good feeling, hopefully that retain still no and the broader outlook of it and when we do do whatever show that is without having to talk about some breaking new stuff.
[SPEAKER_02]: these last few episodes we will do you know spreadsheet but that's like on the broader outlook retain wise you know it was made from a still probably going to have some high interest for sure from other schools across the country but got a retain him and I think two Samuel singleton as well it just gets really interesting I would like to see where the new coach that comes in.
[SPEAKER_02]: You're solidify with an RB1, and I think that's what really lacked out of Gusmau's on because we had thought coming into the season.
[SPEAKER_02]: I understand that you have a platform running back.
[SPEAKER_02]: So we thought maybe he would stick with one.
[SPEAKER_02]: Then you maybe throw an RB2 if the guy needs more time.
[SPEAKER_02]: But there was a carousel all throughout the year, and you didn't even have camped Davis.
[SPEAKER_02]: as well where you were hoping you'd see some strides from throughout the off season he deals with an injury going throughout the rest of the season he though he was thrown into some special teams there at Clemson but you know never really saw the field as much that you actually expected for this upcoming or this last year so like you said there's a handful of guys in there but I'd like to see where you know it's an RJ Harvey type of roll that's going to be if Gossima's on's coming back [SPEAKER_02]: That would be the case, but then you get interest in, I mean, you've got to do some in Kroma, Singleton, I think, of course, you don't have to play everybody, but you'd have, I think, three solid running bags with a true freshman coming in that you feel strongly about.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I think that's the problem for for to say this past season, as far as the running bags, you know, you had a good amount of talent in that room, but it's just not feasible to play five or six guys at running back every game, you know, I think you [SPEAKER_01]: And we talked about it.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're in the second half of that season when it started becoming more of an issue.
[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, I think three guys max in that rotation is what works for the seminal is just [SPEAKER_01]: just so that you can let these younger guys who don't have as much plan experience actually get into a rhythm.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I maybe understand it with some of the more experienced guys, like a Roy Dell Williams or because I at homes, you know, going in and out because they've been in this for years.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, they kind of understand, but for a guy who's in his first season at the college level like Chroma, I mean, he needs that time to [SPEAKER_01]: really get those game reps and just kind of establish himself out there on the field of the same thing with Samuel Singleton Jr.
who I mean really didn't play a ton during his first two seasons then started getting carries the second half of this twenty twenty five season out of nowhere out of nowhere.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean you can't you come out of the by-week and Samuel Singleton Jr.
is your starting running bag like what what is going on here?
[SPEAKER_04]: I can't keep up Gus.
[SPEAKER_04]: I can't [SPEAKER_01]: But that's a philosophy that for to say they need to re-explore this offseason and figure that out.
[SPEAKER_02]: One hundred percent.
[SPEAKER_02]: So David Johnson off to Arkansas will keep a close eye on some targets moving forward and who forcing maybe pursuing for its next running backs coach.
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so let's go to the main topic of the show.
[SPEAKER_02]: This afternoon, that's Tommy Castlano's getting his waiver denied.
[SPEAKER_02]: Myndner Bell spoke on this last week.
[SPEAKER_02]: He said his waiver was denied.
[SPEAKER_02]: And Otami is going through his process of fighting for opportunity.
[SPEAKER_02]: We were supporting Tommy and being able to explore all things that he wants to and needs to do for his potential eligibility and plain.
[SPEAKER_02]: Tommy situation is unique to itself.
[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to move forward for what we believe is best for competitive aspect of our quarterback position.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm excited about the guys we have.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think they've all shown flashes and moments.
[SPEAKER_02]: I know I've talked a lot about Kevin and his time as a true freshman.
[SPEAKER_02]: He dealt with it a little bit of injuries later in the year, but I'm excited about that room.
[SPEAKER_02]: I do think they have high potential in what they do and what they bring.
[SPEAKER_02]: but I'm going to evaluate all parts to put ourselves in a position to compete for a championship.
[SPEAKER_02]: So we touched on this a little bit last week, but we had a lot of stuff going on and coming in while we were alive and up almost having a two hour show, but I want to give us a little bit more time to kind of hear, you know, minor bell talk about Kevin Spary and [SPEAKER_02]: We've also heard from Gus Mauzon through a lot of those scrimmages that they felt strong about his play and where he was ascending to and then we ended up seeing him beat QB2 this season.
[SPEAKER_02]: I know Brock Lann was dealing with some injuries so that certainly.
[SPEAKER_02]: Probably impacted that a little bit, but it certainly felt like to me, and and Jessica your thoughts, do you live where Gus was certainly leaning on, where Kevin Spary was your QB2, just because of the things that we heard from him, and talk about his play, and he also Kevin Spary got a lot of burn with Brock Glenn being hurt for a majority.
[SPEAKER_02]: What was at the spring?
[SPEAKER_02]: Spring, and I mean, lingered into the fall too, literally, like the first three or four weeks as well, which limited him.
[SPEAKER_02]: So, [SPEAKER_02]: You know Kevin Spirigan, a lot of QB2 reps and, you know, it seemed like Gus leans a lot on Kevin Spirley, but yeah, Tommy, you know, is going to fight and try to get another year of eligibility and I thought that was pretty shocking to us that he wasn't getting another year of eligibility as well, D-Lill.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, definitely surprising to me because, I mean, I know the NCAA changed the red [SPEAKER_01]: After he began his college career, you know, the rule currently is for if you play in more than four regular season games, you can't register, but postseason games, conference championships, bowl games play off games, they no longer count against that red shirt rule.
[SPEAKER_01]: And during his first season, his true freshman year at UCF, Tommy made five appearances.
[SPEAKER_01]: One of those was in the AAC Comfort Championship game, and shortly after that was when the NCAA changed the rule.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I just figured since he had been in college already, and then the rule change was made.
[SPEAKER_01]: it wouldn't be very hard to argue that he deserves another season of eligibility in twenty twenty six.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, like you, little bit surprised that he was already initially initially denied for that waiver.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they're going to they're going to try and do it again.
[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see how the appeal process goes.
[SPEAKER_01]: But either way.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, just based off Mike Revelle's comments last week, and I mean, he even said it for the state is moving forward with their quarterback situation doesn't sound like they expect Tommy to be back in Tallahassee one way or another.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, that's really a change of tune because in the second half of that regular season, you know, Mike Revelle was being asked about a Tom is being asked about it.
[SPEAKER_01]: It sounded like there was mutual interest on both sides, but I really just think you know what the way those final four games went for for state the regular season, you know yet the boss of Clemson on the road come back home defeat Virginia Tech and the home finale and then you lose your final games on the road to North Carolina State and Florida with the way Tommy played in those four games which I mean wasn't very good even though the [SPEAKER_01]: even the Virginia Tech game at home.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think he only completed 50% of his passes and you were just really seeing him struggle with his accuracy and didn't look like the poised player that we saw earlier on in 2025.
[SPEAKER_01]: I believe that made for to stay have to reevaluate their decision.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know, to me, this gets very interesting too.
[SPEAKER_02]: So first off, you know, I think I've [SPEAKER_02]: set it a few times time to move on, you know, Gus got his guy thought they could do a little bit more with him.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think they were trying to see if they could maybe do them better with the passing game, not that they were [SPEAKER_02]: We're lying so heavily on that, but, you know, they were hoping at least to see some development there, some improvement, and that just was not the case.
[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of those shots taken, and when you wanna talk about passing yards, all this kind of stuff, you gotta remember, a lot of these were just thrown up and God, please, do's Robinson, catch the ball, or McCoy, Danzy, please catch that ball.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, under throne contestant, did he take a few shots that were great?
[SPEAKER_02]: Those, yes, a quarterback, we'll do that.
[SPEAKER_02]: You gotta hope that a quarterback at Florida State can do something like that.
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but still, you know, that limited Florida state offensively whenever you had a guy that was not accurate and also too was able to get let the ball go if I'm a few times as well.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I just don't like the approach of his leadership anymore.
[SPEAKER_02]: I thought the confidence coming to the season is exactly about Florida state needed.
[SPEAKER_02]: Certainly when you go to intent, you need to get guys that have.
[SPEAKER_02]: Just as simply courage going into that Alabama game.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think he did that, but it's gotten to the point where to me, you know, him saying that he doesn't need to really improve on anything.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's nothing there for him to improve.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's that's wild.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's crazy.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's crazy talk.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's [SPEAKER_02]: He's got a lot to work on.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's got a lot to work on here and magnervelle's comments on where they need to move forward.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think is the right route.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, when we talk about where that's headed for the state has Kevin Spary when we were talking about him, they feel strongly about him.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's still a [SPEAKER_02]: And now if your brain is all relied on Gusmau's on and him coming back and it seems like things are headed that way, just coming off of the early signing day press conference, Dulu, which happened while we were live on the show, Kevin Spary, Brock Glenn and you just brought in a true freshman as well, but.
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, Florida State is on in-person and they're at least they're in contact with some guys out there.
[SPEAKER_02]: And they transport all one of those being a divisible two quarter back from West Florida.
[SPEAKER_02]: Marcus Stokes, he was originally committed to Florida and had some off the field stuff going on there.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the program moved on from him.
[SPEAKER_02]: but Florida State along with Syracuse, Iowa and Northwestern are also showing interest in him after he announced that he was intending on entering the transfer portal.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's actually a finalist for the Harlan Hill Award, which goes to the top player in D2 and 12 appearances as season stoves completed 223 out of 368 passes of a 60.1 percentage.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then 30, almost 3,300 yards with 30 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
[SPEAKER_02]: He rushed 82 times for 360, 7 yards and 10 more scores, thoughts on this, D-Loo and just overall outlook on the quarterback room going in 2026.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's interesting, you know, this is the first guy that four to say has reportedly contacted and who intends into the transfer portal as far as the quarterback position.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it'll be the only name to surface for four to say they're going to do some due diligence for sure, but I mean, Stokes fits the Gus Mauson mold as a dual threat quarterback.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he's been pretty productive at the D2 level over the last two years.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, like you mentioned, I mean, a finalist for the Harland Hill Award this season put together a pretty productive campaign for West Florida.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think he also, he also started eight games back during the 20, 24 season.
[SPEAKER_01]: And what's interesting about this one is there's at least some familiarity between the two sides.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, back when Stokes was a high school prospect.
[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't hold an offer from Florida State at the time.
[SPEAKER_01]: but he did take an unofficial visit to Tallahassee in 2022.
[SPEAKER_01]: And obviously by that point, Tony Tokars had already been promoted to quarterback's coach.
[SPEAKER_01]: Mike Rubel was obviously the head coach.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the two parties, they at least know one another and we'll see you for to say, you know, once the transfer portal officially opens there in January, if they're able to get him in for a visit and depending on who else they're evaluating at that quarterback position, [SPEAKER_01]: But I think it just shows, you know, with this early interest from Fortosate and a quarterback that they're not necessarily confident in Kevin Spary being that starting QB in 2026 if they're going out and evaluating more experience options.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, it kind of makes sense.
[SPEAKER_01]: In my opinion, I don't think you can put all of the eggs in the basket for Kevin Spary just because he only has 17 career pass attempts to his name and he's not necessarily a proven product.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I think Fortosate, they're trying to get a proven quarterback [SPEAKER_01]: to come in and spark this program for 2026.
[SPEAKER_01]: I originally thought that would be to plan with Tommy, you know, to have him back for one more year, continue to develop Kevin Sparrie.
[SPEAKER_01]: See what strides he's able to make next fall and then have him fully ready to go for 2027.
[SPEAKER_01]: But before to say now, moving on from Tommy Caslanos, I think they want to get another QB in the building to, at the very least, provide competition with Kevin Sparrie, if not, that transfer [SPEAKER_02]: Well, too, you've got to also keep in mind 20 tow cars for the state's quarterbacks coach.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's a question mark on if he is going to stay going into this next season as well because February 28th.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, hope you don't wait that long, man.
[SPEAKER_02]: Hope that don't happen.
[SPEAKER_02]: But.
[SPEAKER_02]: Development has lacked in this room.
[SPEAKER_02]: We're talking about linebacker room, pass rush.
[SPEAKER_02]: We go straight to the quarterback room outside of Jordan, Travis, who you know, Jordan, Travis, now looking at it as was a special specimen for might or bell to go.
[SPEAKER_02]: And when you get games and be a Superman for you or a state's guy to do a better job of getting guys developed in the quarterback room.
[SPEAKER_02]: And you hope that can be done with Kevin Spary.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, you had a little bit of playing time this year definitely and the trash party games against trash competition as well But you did see where okay, this guy, you know, there might be something there, but you can't rely on that to say hey you're our starter and 26 this is it now [SPEAKER_02]: Of course, you can have the conversation argument now, do you bring in a guy that's a pure starter and he is going to be your starter in 2026.
[SPEAKER_02]: Do you bring in someone in the transfer portal who still has the experience that you have those two competed out for that 2026 job.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's another angle that you could go at and you could maybe say that staff would like to, you know, maybe go that route as well.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's where, you know, as we continue to hear some of these names, I just don't know if Marcus Stokes and that's not saying this is like you said.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is not going to be the only name that we're going to hear of.
[SPEAKER_02]: Definitely should not be, and it won't be, but you want to have, I think, if you are going to have somebody come in, I think just because you haven't had the proven talent from spary, I think you give someone someone's really high up side, someone that has experienced that has been able to play at a high level, but I still think you have a battle going into 2026.
[SPEAKER_02]: That doesn't hurt spary whatsoever.
[SPEAKER_02]: That would help Hamilton and also to probably help [SPEAKER_02]: If you do, you know, do it through the transfer portal, which we're all expecting.
[SPEAKER_02]: But this quarterback, you know, we're going to talk about this quite a bit this offseason, D-Loo on what this journey is going to look like, because Florida state, if they want to have an immediate fix, which we heard of last year, guess what, D-Loo, there was no immediate fix, Mike.
[SPEAKER_02]: There was no immediate fix, but that is going to be, once again, the slogan for, for Mike and her Vell is to come in [SPEAKER_02]: I had to do it at the quarterback position because I don't think Tommy Castellano's was it for you and it showed he wasn't.
[SPEAKER_02]: And they also have to need to do this swift manner because of talent that you want to also grab in the transfer portal because a lot of question marks are going to be relied on Doose Robinson and what the future looks like if you decide to go to NFL or FES going to come back for you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Dan Doose Robinson, I mean, that's potentially a big selling point for [SPEAKER_01]: a transfer quarterback and for the state, I mean, do in their best to try and retain Robbins in for another season.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see what he decides to do as far as remaining in Tallahassee or going ahead and taking his stab at the 2026 NFL draft.
[SPEAKER_01]: That'll be something the monitor here.
[SPEAKER_01]: I know for a state fans, you know, you see a D2 quarterback.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's definitely not something that's very exciting for the fan base.
[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, hey, I mean, Lane Kiffin made a pretty underrated move last off season.
[SPEAKER_01]: went to the D2 level, brought in Trinidad Chambleus to compete with Austin Simmons over there.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was a red shirt freshman at the time for the starting job at Ole Miss Simmons started the season.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then dealt with an injury in Chambleus stepped in and now Ole Miss in the college football playoff.
[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe four to state takes a similar route, brings in someone like Stokes and then him and Kevin Spary do get out for the starting job.
[SPEAKER_01]: But either way I think other options at quarterback are going to continue to emerge.
[SPEAKER_01]: for Ford to say a lot of people are saying Colton Joseph, that could be one, but that's also going to be a guy who's going to fetch a hefty bag in the portal likely one of the top cubies on the market and this transfer portal cycle.
[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see how it goes for Ford to say this will probably be one of many.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and we've got a lot to talk about on that front.
[SPEAKER_02]: So that's the quarterback situation.
[SPEAKER_02]: I want to note on that as we continue to move forward also to some news here that broke yesterday.
[SPEAKER_02]: Believe this is from on threes Brett McMurphy for the state turning down to play in a ball game.
[SPEAKER_02]: thoughts on this one.
[SPEAKER_02]: Do you live for the state, Auburn, UCF, Baylor and Rutgers were all the teams that had chances to play that all had five wins, but elected not to participate.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I think we'll talk a little bit further to when we have Vizion on Wednesday evenings show to talk about.
[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe this is something that Florida State should done back in 2023 instead of going to fish Georgia in that orange [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, four state, not electing to play in a ballgame where they had the opportunity.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think this should be shocking.
[SPEAKER_01]: It shouldn't be a surprise.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, four to state, it's been nine days.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like the fans are saying in the comments, thank God, it's play will more.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's been nine days since this team had had its season ended in Gainesville, finishing five and seven.
[SPEAKER_01]: And at the time, I mean, everyone was pretty resigned to the fact that Fortress 8 was not going to a bowl game and was not participating in the postseason for the fourth time in Mike Norbell's six seasons at FSU and since then, you know, we've already seen some transfer portal departures, obviously now some coaching staff changes, Darrell Jackson Jr.
put out his declaration for the 2025 NFL draft.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see about Earl Little Jr.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's received a shrine bowl invite and it seems like he could maybe go [SPEAKER_01]: as well, rather than coming back to FSU in 2026, same thing with Doos Tommy had that waiver denied.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I think the focus right now for 4 to 8, it's away from the football field, it's fully to the offseason.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, who knows how many of these guys are even still in Tallahassee at this point as the semester finishes up and guys are making decisions, whether [SPEAKER_01]: like I talked about some of those guys going pro, but some of the guys that could enter the transfer portal as well.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, four state did not realize this was an opportunity nine days ago.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of just popped up in their lap and that's what happened with Kansas State.
[SPEAKER_01]: Iowa State both electing to decline to participate in bowl games, despite being bowl eligible.
[SPEAKER_01]: due to coaching changes, you know, Kansas State's head coach retired.
[SPEAKER_01]: Iowa State's head coach, obviously went over there to be the head coach at Penn State.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then Notre Dame, you know, shocked the entire country yesterday when they were snubbed from the college of all playoff and said they will not participate in a bowl game this postseason.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's an hour or two, maybe.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's kind of why the option is on the table.
[SPEAKER_01]: I just think, you know, for some of these programs that have already started their offseason, it's too late to ask them to come back and play another game.
[SPEAKER_02]: or Terrell over here.
[SPEAKER_02]: He said, I wouldn't mind a ball game.
[SPEAKER_02]: He likes pain.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it would have been a nice opportunity for for to say to get some extra of next year, three weeks of practice or so for some of the younger players on the team.
[SPEAKER_01]: You want to just want to see Sparey, that's about it.
[SPEAKER_01]: You don't even know which of those younger guys are going to be back at four to state in 2026 whenever that transfer portal opens up on January 2nd.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, it's a good idea and theory, but an execution.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, four to state, these other programs that decline the bowl game opportunity, they've already moved on to the off season.
[SPEAKER_02]: And be honest with you, too, if you're not playing in Doke, if the bowl game is not in Doke, you can find Poptar bowl to get she in there or the Sun Bowl, because they move it all the way across the country into Doke.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think you want to see FSU play in a bowl game outside of Doe Campbell Stadium.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think you do at all.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think they could even move to where the circus, not even not the circus, but where the marching chiefs practice name could just, you know, do a two minute walk over to that field and play on there and they want to win.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I think you wanted to go ahead and say it's over 20 25 is done.
[SPEAKER_02]: You don't want to play in a bowl game.
[SPEAKER_02]: You don't want to do that to yourself.
[SPEAKER_02]: Why would you want to do that to yourself?
[SPEAKER_02]: Who's going to go and wants to see that product at all now?
[SPEAKER_02]: And it more of the focus needs to be on the off season anyways.
[SPEAKER_02]: And unless someone was willing to give you, [SPEAKER_01]: 50 million dollars to go play in her bowl game back at hell and that i mean it's a five and seven football team what bowl game do you think for state with real estate one part the only bowl game that was a was a good i mean him was it give you the pretty and low jl a b burning him bull [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I already told you, I'm not on a bad at that.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure how excited four to state fans would have been to travel over there for that one.
[SPEAKER_01]: Who would have they have faced Georgia Southern?
[SPEAKER_08]: I believe.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, this one's also two savings and face here.
[SPEAKER_02]: He don't want to maybe put that out there and they need to even market that.
[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, probably, probably that right here in the right.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think Georgia Southern would go belt to ask.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's a road game brother.
[SPEAKER_02]: Just thought Clay held me over there, the former U.S.
he coach, is that what he, uh, is that what he said?
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just staying on the lobby.
[SPEAKER_02]: So I mean, this is straight facts to real.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't got awful on the road, man.
[SPEAKER_02]: God, awful.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even think they maybe, uh, that that'd be too far to go to the fairgrounds and play there in that stadium.
[SPEAKER_02]: I want to want to do that either.
[SPEAKER_02]: So Georgia Southern 6 and 6 and 20 25.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'd be a close one.
[SPEAKER_02]: That would be it could would have been a battle could have been top five and viewer ratings for that one right there on the CW network.
[SPEAKER_02]: Alright, let's move on here real quick before we get into some sleeper picks for Monday night football.
[SPEAKER_02]: Pastor Tan, as we know, got let go from Florida State, was shocking, stunning to a lot of the fans, also to us on here weren't really expecting that move to happen.
[SPEAKER_02]: And Pastor Tan, certainly had a statement to make right afterward and said, that fired shit hit different.
[SPEAKER_02]: Gave everything for three years.
[SPEAKER_02]: I guess, four years, matter more than 40 debt.
[SPEAKER_02]: Coach, super good y'all.
[SPEAKER_02]: This went viral, I mean, I'm pretty sure it's sitting at like 6,000 to 7,000 likes on Twitter, which I wonder how many views that means I'll look at it here in a second, but also too, I believe his son put out, not like that, not kind of comment like that, but was back in his father as well, a little stunned by the news at his dad.
[SPEAKER_02]: got let go.
[SPEAKER_02]: But certainly they, you know, I don't think Coach Pat and Mike, I don't think they ended on the greatest of terms there for his last year at FSU.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and you know, there were some rumors out there that maybe Patrick's or Tancinier was, [SPEAKER_01]: looking around at other jobs or that this was maybe a mutual parting of ways between four to eight and certain senior.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think that statement tells you all.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he is not happy about the way this went down and how his time ended in Tallahassee.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it ultimately just comes down to, you know, him, Tony White coming as defensive coordinator.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think him in certain senior necessarily mesh, you know, two guys with different styles and we'll see what four to state decides to do for me or obviously bringing in a defensive end scoge to work with Terran Stein right now.
[SPEAKER_01]: You've got Evan Cooper there at safety scoge.
[SPEAKER_01]: It sounds like four to state is potentially interested in bringing in a cornerbacks coach to shore up that defensive backfield coaching room.
[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see how it goes here for four to state, but I still think, you know, this is just [SPEAKER_01]: Not a good look, not a good move for Florida State to be for this to be the only guy that you've let go so far.
[SPEAKER_01]: And for it to be Patrick Sartan senior anyway.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I know there's been some stuff left to be desired as far as the recruiting trail and finishing there.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, you've lost a couple of guys to flips over the last couple of years, but I mean, he's put some guys in the NFL.
[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, you know, had a true freshman starting this year and the quarterback room wasn't particularly deep after you had some guys go down to due to injury [SPEAKER_01]: Quinderous Jones, but Patrick Surtan senior, I mean, he had vast connections in South Florida as a former coach there at American Heritage High School, where he won multiple state championships, obviously his NFL connections, I think, you know, doing something like this and with the way it seems like it was done, you know, Patrick Surtan senior, not happy about it.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is just another move that doesn't make for a state look very good.
[SPEAKER_02]: 2.1 million views.
[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of people saw that, to be there.
[SPEAKER_02]: Almost 10,000 likes.
[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of Florida and Miami City World.
[SPEAKER_01]: Over here, big dog.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they probably are.
[SPEAKER_02]: Definitely recruiting him over there.
[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I mean, then seeing like they ended off on good terms with one another.
[SPEAKER_02]: And like you said, you know, there's definitely some things that you could say from the secondary that lacked.
[SPEAKER_02]: And you, but also to you brought in Evan Cooper, he changed things that with Tony White coming in like you just mentioned.
[SPEAKER_02]: Things were altered for, for Sir Tan, and you could say the recruiting things here and there, yada yada yada, but I don't think if we're talking about concerns of this team moving forward, Pat would not be that highly on that tier ranking duo.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, there are some other guys who certainly should be on the chopping block ahead of their tancene year and it's pretty damning for a four to state to make that move and follow it up with nothing else.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, some of the same positions where you've been failing for years and years, those guys are still there and not a peep.
[SPEAKER_02]: Nope, we are at almost one o'clock on Monday to accept the season.
[SPEAKER_02]: I guess that comprehensive evaluation takes a while.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's still going on.
[SPEAKER_02]: I guess it's still going on.
[SPEAKER_02]: And like you mentioned though, still got some position groups that aren't so pretty.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we already talked about a handful of them earlier in this episode, but I mean, come on now.
[SPEAKER_02]: Come on.
[SPEAKER_02]: Gotta get going here and see the welches up next because that surprises Pat as being the first one out of here.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that could lead to some of the guys on the roster, you know, Jibrio Rawls, who had a career season.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, look at your prominent future piece.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like we'll see how many of these deities come back.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Patrick's are dancing your coach or a little junior at American Heritage.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then they obviously reunited together at Forta State.
[SPEAKER_01]: I know Pat is the cornerbacks coach and didn't coach a safety this year, but little junior had a career year.
[SPEAKER_01]: And now it seems like he's really considering moving on and leaving Forta State for the NFL.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see what happens with some of these guys.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's definitely a concern and some to watch.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, believe he posted on his Instagram story of him being at the East.
[SPEAKER_02]: Or not being happy, but he got sent a box for the East West Shrine bowl as well, and you know, that, you know, lane to think that that's, you know, that he's headed to the NFL head into the next.
[SPEAKER_02]: Part, hopefully, head into the pros, but, you know, you know, like you had said, the relationships there, it's certainly your real rules.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's your top guy in the second area that you want to have coming back into next season.
[SPEAKER_02]: And not only that, not only does play well, but like just the energy, the way that he played, he played, you wish that you had.
[SPEAKER_02]: 11 more of those 11's out there.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's just the tenacity that he was playing with.
[SPEAKER_02]: Good at tackling making plays for you to take away as well.
[SPEAKER_02]: Your bro Raw's needs to be at four state next night.
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, that plays a vital effect, I think more than what you had with like David Johnson and Useman Kroma because I was Mike Revelle.
[SPEAKER_02]: He was after him recruiting him and I all played a big factor, but he built Rawls.
[SPEAKER_02]: That was up to Pat Sertan in that relationship.
[SPEAKER_02]: And you can't lose Rawls.
[SPEAKER_01]: And your brewer was a three star coming out of high school.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I remember we were leaving practice one day and he randomly committed and, you know, [SPEAKER_01]: It was a it was a three star I wasn't really expecting that the time and we've seen we he's now developed into over the last couple years and part of that is just due to the drill's work ethic and the mindset he carries himself with and part of that is due to Patrick Schertan senior and what he's done at four to say for the last three years.
[SPEAKER_01]: definitely something to keep an eye on here because he he's going to be back channeled and he's going to receive some big offers so they go first now and I'm sure those conversations are happening as we speak [SPEAKER_02]: Ladies and gentlemen, let's make some sleeper picks.
[SPEAKER_02]: Shout out to sleeper.
[SPEAKER_02]: We've got a big money knife football game here.
[SPEAKER_02]: We've got the Chargers and the Eagles.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this one, D-Loo.
[SPEAKER_02]: And we almost got our Sunday picks correct.
[SPEAKER_02]: Baker Mayfield had an atrocious game.
[SPEAKER_02]: We only needed him to throw what was it.
[SPEAKER_02]: We needed him to throw 219 yards and he threw 122.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's seen it first.
[SPEAKER_02]: Shador Sanders exploded 364 yards, but yeah, Baker may feel a rainy day, but still nonetheless.
[SPEAKER_02]: So just absolutely catastrophic.
[SPEAKER_02]: I feel bad for any of the bucks fans that are here in the chat viewing.
[SPEAKER_02]: That was an awful, awful, awful game.
[SPEAKER_02]: disgusting.
[SPEAKER_02]: But, Dilo, we've got some actually some good promos here from sleeper.
[SPEAKER_02]: I believe we can just have Jalen Hertz, the row for one yard, and that's a free pick for 1.78 times.
[SPEAKER_02]: I can't have the promage promotion on there to add that in there.
[SPEAKER_02]: Do I take away the promo or it's a free entry though?
[SPEAKER_02]: This is a free entry.
[SPEAKER_02]: We got to go with the free one.
[SPEAKER_02]: Sleepers amazing.
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, [SPEAKER_02]: on Hampton first game back off IR and his last couple games before that he went well over on his more.
[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of people are pushing into the 25.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't like that, but I could be down for I could be down for this.
[SPEAKER_02]: Filly though, I'm not sure.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just like how many, how many [SPEAKER_02]: I know, right?
[SPEAKER_02]: Let's just keep the eye on that one.
[SPEAKER_02]: See one, Barclay, anytime touched down.
[SPEAKER_02]: Where is the set?
[SPEAKER_02]: Is this at the Chargers?
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it is.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
[SPEAKER_02]: OK.
[SPEAKER_02]: Anytime touched down, AJ Brown, anytime.
[SPEAKER_02]: What is a passing for both of these guys?
[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, they've got Jalen, where you just need to get one.
[SPEAKER_02]: We'd have to go Herbert here.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's been lacking as of late on air.
[SPEAKER_02]: 81 the R151 yards 209 they're expecting to go against on filly.
[SPEAKER_03]: You want to shave this to 175?
[SPEAKER_02]: I'd be fine with it.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's not bad.
[SPEAKER_02]: And you get 1.22 times.
[SPEAKER_02]: We need to find a juicer, though.
[SPEAKER_02]: Why don't you just rush in yards for say, 267 and a half.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's also had some inconsistency.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's so inconsistency this morning, season.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, after a strong start, it's kind of just falling off there.
[SPEAKER_01]: What happens when I take someone in fantasy?
[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, all off a cliff.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, 100%.
[SPEAKER_02]: Jalen Hertz has been running the ball quite a bit.
[SPEAKER_02]: As of late last three games, 31 yards 33 31 could shave him down at 25.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm fine with that.
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_02]: We'll do that.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think he'd be brown had like his best game of the season last week.
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, he did and he's on at two times juicer.
[SPEAKER_02]: He needs 62 and a half on the more, but yeah, he went off.
[SPEAKER_02]: had 132 last weekend.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's only expected to get at 62 and a half.
[SPEAKER_02]: Do we want to go to when just shame the 50 color night?
[SPEAKER_03]: That's a 1.34 times.
[SPEAKER_02]: We just got to get it went here and we got a $20 free bet here from sleepers.
[SPEAKER_02]: Shout out to sleeper.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's not bad.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's not bad.
[SPEAKER_02]: Those aren't bad picks.
[SPEAKER_02]: So we got just in Herbert 175 plus in the passing yards, 80 of Brown just needs that 50 receiving yards, and then Jalen and herds 25 plus there.
[SPEAKER_02]: So do one more.
[SPEAKER_02]: Say it again.
[SPEAKER_02]: You're gonna do one more?
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think we need to do one more.
[SPEAKER_03]: One way.
[SPEAKER_03]: Who's gonna get into the hot right now?
[SPEAKER_03]: I touched down, anybody?
[SPEAKER_02]: I just can't trust too much more of this Eagles offense.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'd rather if we're gonna go somewhere.
[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe we lean.
[SPEAKER_02]: Where is I?
[SPEAKER_02]: What's my conki?
[SPEAKER_02]: Look, I'm like, yeah, that's what I'm looking at.
[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't have.
[SPEAKER_02]: Last couple of games 13 or 39, but is he do for a bounce back?
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's on prime time.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's at the chargers, my conki whenever I watch them, it usually does well in prime time.
[SPEAKER_02]: I wanted to shame the 40, since we're having another pick in here.
[SPEAKER_02]: Let's do it.
[SPEAKER_02]: All right, we'll do that.
[SPEAKER_02]: We'll stick with those guys.
[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate sleeper as always for partying with us this season.
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, this isn't recognized.
[SPEAKER_03]: What's that?
[SPEAKER_02]: What does that mean?
[SPEAKER_02]: Weird.
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no, maybe we had to do something else on there.
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we did that.
[SPEAKER_02]: You can always add more if you'd like, but shout to sleeper, appreciate them for joining us.
[SPEAKER_02]: This entire football season helping us make some up picks.
[SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully those hit.
[SPEAKER_02]: If not, this is not our calling.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is not our calling.
[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go and finish off this episode.
[SPEAKER_02]: We've got one more thing to hit on, and this is Forest State losing one of their, I believe, promising, really promising true freshman defensive ends with Lajese Harold.
[SPEAKER_02]: And we had already talked pretty heavily about the edge room for the seminals earlier on.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this episode, so if you're just not joining nice adjust, going and scrubbing back to the beginning of the show, but Forest State's losing six foot five, 253 pound offensive and Lajese Harold, one of their top guys that they brought [SPEAKER_02]: recruiting class this last year as a senior in high school total 38 tackles 16 tackles for loss 11 sacks to force fumbles one for recovery one interception in six past of flexions.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it stands out to you right away with 11 sacks.
[SPEAKER_02]: The staff was working really hard there at the end of the recruiting cycle to make sure that they brought in La Jesse Harold.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think this one was kind of surprising.
[SPEAKER_02]: And we didn't see a lot of the Dead Sea Harold and his true freshman year.
[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, we saw the Deceir twins and he got a wonder if that plays a factor into him moving on, but thoughts on this one, D-Loo.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it was always an upside-take for Florida State.
[SPEAKER_01]: And like you kind of mentioned, they're going to a big addition late in that 2025 recruiting class for Florida State, they were able to flip him from LSU and keep him in the sunshine state.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this was a guy, once he got to tell us, he needed to develop.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think last spring, we were talking about her in the spring.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he came in the 4 to 8 only about 210, 215 pounds or so, and really had an explosion of weight over the offseason to bulk up to that 250 plus pound frame that he has now.
[SPEAKER_01]: And once the season started, you know, he dealt with an injury from the majority of the campaign was only able to get out there for one appearance and that came in the 42 to 7 when against weight force saw action late in the fourth quarter.
[SPEAKER_01]: That was, you know, so I think injuries really decimated his first season at the college level for to say was pretty excited to see what he could be with that weight added on to that frame and it was going to be a big off season for him to see if he could become a contributor in that defensive end room, but, you know, regardless he's moving on four seasons of eligibility remaining.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see where he lands at and what he's able to develop into because I do believe he's someone with a pretty high ceiling, but also a low floor as well if he's not able to develop some of those physical attributes.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I see some comments in here, you know, it's tough, you know, to see your twins in here.
[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, that makes an impact for playing time and such and for the injury to not help.
[SPEAKER_02]: But development development development and I don't know if he knew [SPEAKER_02]: You know, about the new hire with Nick Williams coming in and you know, you could still work on retaining here, you know, the intention to vending the transfer portal.
[SPEAKER_02]: That can happen.
[SPEAKER_02]: We've seen it handful of times across the college for a landscape along with to definitely Forty State where guys will say, hey, you know, I'm going to put my name out there, but I might.
[SPEAKER_02]: take it back and come back to FSU, yada yada.
[SPEAKER_02]: We've seen that happen before.
[SPEAKER_02]: So not saying that, you know, he's gone gone, but I'm sure that this year twins also too, just the development factor at the end of the day and that that [SPEAKER_02]: When that's lacking, and you don't have that going for you, I don't, don't blame some guys and definitely too, when every seed James lambs out there playing Errea, felt like I could have gone in for a few reps at some points, man.
[SPEAKER_02]: I can go at least set the edge right there, come on, set the edge, but I think, and you know what, I lost that bet.
[SPEAKER_02]: I made a bet with you guys.
[SPEAKER_02]: I made a bet.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what the bet really was.
[SPEAKER_02]: It was just a verbal one.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if we have to do anything but I said that, you know, throughout his career between him and Tyler on Lee, Jesse Harold and with more sacks and have better stat sheet at then it was career.
[SPEAKER_02]: That was right now.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not looking to serve great for me.
[SPEAKER_01]: You didn't say did you say out for the state though because now we're going to have to keep track of where he goes.
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if I said that for a statement.
[SPEAKER_04]: I just kept it generic maybe we're going to go back and look at this because who knows?
[SPEAKER_02]: Who knows?
[SPEAKER_02]: Who knows?
[SPEAKER_02]: He may goes off to Ohio State.
[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely balls for me and I win that bet in 2028.
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, maybe Nick Williams gets in his area.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, come on, buddy.
[SPEAKER_02]: Come on back over here.
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on back.
[SPEAKER_01]: But as a Monday, like Jesse Harold, transferring from Florida State, Taiwan Lee still at Florida State.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's looking good for me and Austin at least.
[SPEAKER_02]: It is looking good.
[SPEAKER_02]: It is looking solid for you guys.
[SPEAKER_02]: So that's the news on the transfer portal market.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure we are going to get into it a lot more and Wednesday show us some more news going on.
[SPEAKER_02]: And we'll see if there's some coaching staff changes.
[SPEAKER_02]: If there's some big, breaking news, D-Loo and I will hop on here for a quick hitter for you guys.
[SPEAKER_02]: But if not, we will see you guys on Wednesday.
[SPEAKER_02]: Even if you're still with us on YouTube, man, you all have been absolutely crushing it, engaging in the comments, hitting the like button and everything.
[SPEAKER_02]: pop in in here.
[SPEAKER_02]: We really do appreciate it almost doubled in viewership the last couple of weeks.
[SPEAKER_02]: So appreciate y'all a ton.
[SPEAKER_02]: You guys are awesome and we'll see you guys on Wednesday night at 7 o'clock.
[SPEAKER_02]: We'll have a lot more to talk about too.
[SPEAKER_02]: We'll probably jump into some more quarterback chatter on get VZs to take on a few things and maybe we'll bring up a couple more Antonio Cromarty tweets for them and see if we can get them riled up a little bit.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's always entertaining.
[SPEAKER_02]: to see and we got to talk about four to save asphalt too because man they are not looking so great right now at the moment so what's up a little bit further on that but we'll see you guys Wednesday night seven o'clock y'all enjoy the rest of y'all's week I'll talk to you soon [SPEAKER_07]: We're pops in the team, five-cent color pizza We're one, one, one, don't need no medicine We're pops in the team, five-cent color pizza We're one, one, don't need no medicine We're one, one, don't need no medicine We're one, one, don't need no medicine
