Episode Transcript
[SPEAKER_01]: What's happening, guys?
[SPEAKER_01]: This is Logan Robinson from Hear the Spear.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's a YouTube by nogambi.com.
[SPEAKER_01]: We hear live on a wonderful fantastic Monday after noon.
[SPEAKER_01]: And we've got quite a bit to talk about on this Monday, Florida State originally was going to have their next cornerbacks coach.
[SPEAKER_01]: but he's actually headed to the Flooring Cateres.
[SPEAKER_01]: We've also got a totally co-class Florida State Quarterbacks coach finding a new gig becoming a Buffalo's new offensive coordinator will have a certainly a good deal to them.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's a build to that.
[SPEAKER_01]: And not the Buffalo Bills, you know, not the Bills and Josh Allen.
[SPEAKER_01]: I bet he wishes he had a quarterback like that, but the last few seasons, I don't think that's been the case with Tommy Casalinas and DJU, but we'll give our thoughts on that.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, Derek Ray, it's been official there.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's headed to UCLA and to their front office, also to Nick Williams.
[SPEAKER_01]: four states new edge coach and big time recruiter that became official for the first states that most today.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then we're going to jump into the top five players four to state must retain going into this 2026 season and to finish us off.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll have the latest on some FSC basketball and see what the issues are there with BZ.
[SPEAKER_01]: But with me is awesome these are lead basketball writer in the middle and all the way to the other side is Dustin [SPEAKER_01]: Gentlemen, I just left 70 degrees to come up to 15 degrees for the Steelers Monday night football game.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm already ready for some football, but we've got a lot to talk about on a four to eight side as we head into a very busy offsuit of the Nulled.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'll be honest, it's not much better in Tallahassee, below 50 degrees.
[SPEAKER_00]: We have, we have 50, we have 50.
[SPEAKER_00]: We have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, we have a free, [SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, it was about 19 degrees this morning when I woke up here in Charlotte, it's gotten up to about a toasty 31 degrees right now, but yeah, the transfers have at least slowed down for four to state right now.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure that'll pick up over the next week or two.
[SPEAKER_03]: As we get a little bit closer to that, then it's a deadline, but for that time, I'm for the transfer portal actually opening up and there's a there's probably some quarterbacks also that I hear in the market that four to state should definitely show an interest in.
[SPEAKER_01]: Before we get into Brandon Harris going to the gators, let's talk to the transfer portal when I'm a list of it because we haven't had a lot in the last couple of days, but let's talk about Camden Fryer real quick, a legacy wide receiver, deciding to enter the transfer portal in his first season as a freshman dealt with an injury where he didn't get to see the field at all.
[SPEAKER_01]: two years ago and this last year just was trying to fight and find some plain time as well with a weder to your room that had a lot of young town in there.
[SPEAKER_01]: There was, you know, his flat came in with a lot of town to guys and it was going to be hard to go in there and get on the field early, but this is a legacy kid and it's kind of been, it's been a theme a trend for this stuff where, you know, some of those legacy guys don't end up, you know, [SPEAKER_01]: I would say coming out too well of what you might have had some expectations.
[SPEAKER_01]: Not saying the cannon fryer was going to be, you know, a wide receiver one.
[SPEAKER_01]: That was never the expectation for him.
[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, Dustin, you and I had seen him in camps.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that elite camp, a couple of years ago.
[SPEAKER_01]: And him and Quanderius John, those two were, you know, some of the stars.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that Cam blue promo hot, you know, Luke was dropping some absolute bombs and Camden Fryer was just eating up the defensive backs and looked like the future was bright.
[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, he's he blue chrome and hockey is off to Mississippi state.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it was now a backup quarterback and now, you know, Camden Fryer decided to end the transfer portal here.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, just tell us quick thoughts on that.
[SPEAKER_01]: I just wanted to bring it up for our transfer portal news.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, he just hasn't been able to break into the rotation over these past two years or four to state.
[SPEAKER_00]: And obviously, you know, like you kind of mentioned, Logan at true freshman season was pretty much a wash.
[SPEAKER_00]: He suffered a lower body injury that kept them out for basically the entirety of the year and tried to come back this season, fight into that widest year rotation just wasn't able to ever.
[SPEAKER_00]: make it into the 2D for anything and you know obviously a guy that brings a ton of speed to the table he's able to make contested catches as well but not the biggest wide receiver either you know coming over to the FBS level and yeah i mean like you said you know the the legacies of force they've recruited they've pretty much disappointed or not been able to produce here intel has you for the most part but hey i mean at least she had douce Robinson [SPEAKER_03]: Ons of us.
[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, I think Duce is the only one that has been produced between join our mella and boots and well both of other guys that I've just JJ Yeah, just Marvin Jones Yeah, Marvin Jones junior just just a lot of guys that weren't able to produce or in this case Just not get on the field at all and I still want to those of his dad was a mad fryer.
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think anybody would care.
[SPEAKER_03]: So Didn't see the field in two years.
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think it's gonna really impact anything [SPEAKER_00]: And I will say his brother recently signed with Jacksonville State in this 2026 class, so be into to see if maybe he makes his way over there in the portal.
[SPEAKER_01]: Who's that coach over there?
[SPEAKER_01]: It's uh, Charles Kelly.
[SPEAKER_01]: Charles Kelly's over there.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now it's just thinking about for some reason earlier, I was on my flight and for some reason that whole could you know because, oh, because Clint Triggett, because Clint Triggett now is the [SPEAKER_00]: Quarterback scoach, quarterback armor.
[SPEAKER_00]: Rock and so on too.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so Clint Triggins are there so that I was saying, okay, but also to Rick Triggit is on the staff.
[SPEAKER_01]: Jack will say it's kind of crazy.
[SPEAKER_03]: They got a lot of four to say connections over there and it's kind of weird.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, there's a lot there.
[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, maybe he goes and joins his brother there.
[SPEAKER_01]: Best of luck to him.
[SPEAKER_01]: Great kid, great family too.
[SPEAKER_01]: We got to spend some time with him during his recruitment and such.
[SPEAKER_01]: So wish him the best of luck.
[SPEAKER_01]: Really speedy guy strong too as well.
[SPEAKER_01]: So hopefully he finds a good landing spot for himself.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about Brandon Harris, man.
[SPEAKER_01]: This was crazy.
[SPEAKER_01]: This was a wild, um, and you know, the news broke earlier.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was a late last week or over the weekend, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: It was a side of Saturday.
[SPEAKER_00]: Saturday night, I believe.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was like later like seven eight o'clock.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, after dinner time, but it was first reported from CBS sports that Harris is going to the Florida Gators are originally expected to join the four state football staff as we know to his brother, [SPEAKER_01]: at Florida State as the wider seabers coach, which makes this even more interesting as well, this was crazy, this was interesting here and of course John Summerall, they're trying to build a whole new staff and they're trying to put a lot of resources behind this new staff coming in and such and that seems like the gators might have had a better offer for him but you would thought [SPEAKER_01]: Nope, that didn't really help you as much.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, another stumble for a fortestate and a two years that I've just been filled with various wonders on the field, off the field.
[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, I mean, it's just not a good look for Ford to state, you know, optically and just for the program as a whole, because this was the guy that they targeted to be Patrick Sertan, senior's replacement.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think he was the top option and the guy that Ford is state really wanted.
[SPEAKER_00]: And from what I understand, I mean, he was even intel assi at one point.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he'll ask a couple of days and and said, Florida swoops in there.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not exactly sure on the terms of the offers and comparing those or anything like that.
[SPEAKER_00]: They swoop in there and they're able to land them and, you know, you got to remember Harris is a guy that had worked with Mike Norville at four to say previously, you know, you mentioned.
[SPEAKER_00]: his brother on the coaching staff now at four to state and still I mean they're left here at the altar he goes over there to join jumps johnson moral and I would just imagine from his perspective from his point of view I mean he's thinking there's going to be a longer leash with that coaching staff over there in Gainesville and if things don't go well for four to stay pretty early on in the twenty twenty six season I mean they're could seriously be a head coaching change in Delassie [SPEAKER_00]: this past season, but maybe it'll actually happen in 2026.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, I think there's probably just more job security going over to games all this point.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's actually broke late Friday night.
[SPEAKER_03]: I went back and double a check.
[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, I mean, this is what we were talking about.
[SPEAKER_03]: Last week, we were saying this is one of the biggest lame duck situations in the country because there's just not a lot of security with this job.
[SPEAKER_03]: You have to go eight and four, nine and three this year to feel comfortable about that.
[SPEAKER_03]: And nothing about this team or this roster makes you feel like they're gonna get to that point of being in eight and four or nine and three team.
[SPEAKER_03]: there's just a lot of unrest, a lot of unhappiness around the entire program.
[SPEAKER_03]: So why would anyone want to join this coaches staff if they have other options?
[SPEAKER_03]: There's just going to be [SPEAKER_03]: You know, better opportunity also for a lot of these situations, especially for someone like Brandon Harris, was been in and around the state of Florida, he gets to still stay in the state, and yes, it's for a rival, and he's probably going to make more money if I just had a guess, while still be able to recruit to state that he knows, and yeah, it's just a little bit better situation, but that's kind of just how this situation is going to go with norville still being retained as the head coach, you're going to have to settle [SPEAKER_01]: You have job securities a big thing and as it should be for any coaches and even families and you don't know how long that's going to be and I'm sure that was a lot of thought going into for your two new coordinators with Tony White and Gus Mouson as well and you know I continue to wonder you know the admins plan behind all of this because it's starting to really.
[SPEAKER_01]: feel like the administration for Florida State banked on another year, of course, with Mike Morbell.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think they looked at the money issue and how much they still would have to pay on the buyout to Mike.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think this was just set in place for a while.
[SPEAKER_01]: And we know that that statement came out for Stanford and, of course, in C state, but, you know, those were just putting out fires at the time I do believe in.
[SPEAKER_01]: They really were banking on, you know, having these two new coordinators come back, and I don't think they expected for a coach Sure, Tana no longer be on the staff moving forward, but I think certain things happened during the season between You know Mike and Sir Tana where things were just not head in the right direction between those two and I wonder as well It starts to become an issue too when we're gonna talk about some guys that force it needs to retain one of those guys on my list It's gonna be to drill balls and you know you want to keep that guy and and [SPEAKER_01]: and gardening goal would go in in the 2026 to get it plays really well, plays with a lot of effort and was one of your top guys that you could look back on the 2025 season and say, yes, this is something I can build my secondary around but the floor state's got to find someone they've got to find an answer there to give some of these players an agents nowadays, it's crazy gentlemen and it's wild that like yesterday I was looking.
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and you're seeing contract extensions.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's true.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, people can, you know, say, why are you posting this?
[SPEAKER_01]: Why between this, why are reporting this?
[SPEAKER_01]: These are contract extensions that's if we're going to do it this way.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is how it's going to be worded in its rubyage.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's where we're at in college for it.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's great to think of a four state has some guys that they do it need to retain and hopefully build some contract extensions with.
[SPEAKER_01]: And, um, you know, there's some young guys in that second degree.
[SPEAKER_01]: a high-lighted by a dribble rosy you want to have in 2026.
[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, you have to leap into it and embrace the new age and it feels like forward to state, you know, they've been a little bit afraid to take that step and I mean, they're going to need to and the near future when it comes to, you know, roster retention and obviously building out that front office.
[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see how it goes from from from that perspective.
[SPEAKER_00]: But I mean, this just feels like another TJ rushing situation except even worse because, you know, [SPEAKER_00]: Officially get announced.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it was trending that way.
[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously in four to state thought things were wrapped up.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then he's he's swept out at the last minute there by the Florida Gators TJ rushing.
[SPEAKER_00]: At least was on the job for about four weeks or so before Texas ain't aiming to the picture and took him from Tallahassee ahead of Mike Moreville's first season at four to state.
[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, TJ rushing that to guy.
[SPEAKER_00]: I wonder for the state potentially takes a look at not sure maybe.
[SPEAKER_00]: how the relationship is between those two parties after his quick departure from four to state previously.
[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, this guy obviously worked with Mike Norvel for a couple of years there at Arizona State and then at Memphis and right now doesn't have a job, wasn't retained as Auburn Safety's coach.
[SPEAKER_00]: Whenever Alex Golish came in and he's out there on the open market, I wonder if that's a name for the state would at least show some interest in.
[SPEAKER_03]: I also got a one of just Cooper takes over the whole second there.
[SPEAKER_03]: I know he's been a primarily safety scoach for pretty much his entire tenure as a position coach, but you do have to think about how many off your coaches you can have.
[SPEAKER_03]: And when we look at the numbers with Harris there, you're looking at 11 coaches, even if we expect, but poach is to, [SPEAKER_03]: be shown the door eventually at some point in the next few months and I know it's taken a while, but it's at least another option that they could explore while they either get a different lineback in this coach or we obviously know that has to get a new Coralax coach, which we'll talk about here in a second, but just another option as well.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there could be some movement there on that side.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we've always thought maybe Tony and Wyatt takes over those linebackers.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they move on from jump and pooches.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we talked about the code of JP for a while, and the linebackers is a little linebackers.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it is what it is.
[SPEAKER_01]: You could point at three things, recruiting, development, the play, and then, of course, just how I would say, [SPEAKER_01]: If you're looking for a linebacker, which I do think Florida State does need to do, then they've got to find guys that are immediate impacts, and that's why when we talk about the transfer pool here in the next few episodes, that's going to be a main focus, is that linebacker room for that defensive side to ball, and maybe Tony White takes over.
[SPEAKER_01]: there at the second level, but it's interesting.
[SPEAKER_01]: I do think they are waiting a little bit.
[SPEAKER_01]: It saves them a little bit of money, and there are no need to really rush a shape PB just kind of hoped that force it does have a plan if they do decide to move on either if it is.
[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, taking over linebackers or they have another player there ready to go and that for a coach, I should say the coach, the linebackers.
[SPEAKER_01]: Gotta hope.
[SPEAKER_00]: Gotta hope, but [SPEAKER_00]: Things like they're just kind of nudging these guys along as far as the assistance whose contracts expire on February 28, 2026, you know, maybe certain senior was the one that expressed interest and returning to Florida State and that's why they ultimately decided to fire them, but you know, the other guys we've seen, yeah, I obviously take the leap over there to Arkansas.
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, Tony Tocar is going to the Buffalo Bulls and [SPEAKER_00]: You know, JP's contract is up as well.
[SPEAKER_00]: I wonder if maybe he's trying to find a position elsewhere.
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's for the state moving on from these guys without officially firing them.
[SPEAKER_00]: But pretty much aside and I let them go.
[SPEAKER_01]: And you would think too, you know, we'd start getting some word of that is the case because you players are talking about, you know, talk about retention, you know, there might be some in the lineback room to as well transfers, you know, the agents are going to hear things as well.
[SPEAKER_01]: So you would imagine a start coming out, but we haven't heard much on, you know, coach AP's part, but not only my backer play, but that special teams has to be improved as well.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's got to be.
[SPEAKER_01]: improve.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's something that might develop pressed so heavily on in his introductory press conference when arriving at Florida State that special teams is going to be a massive focus.
[SPEAKER_01]: And when we were there attending practices, there is a lot of special teams work.
[SPEAKER_01]: You start with special teams.
[SPEAKER_01]: You haven't the middle of practice and you haven't near the end of practice.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like there is a lot of work.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's done in special teams and practices.
[SPEAKER_01]: It just sucks that on the field and games on Saturdays.
[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't do too well unless you have Ryan Fitzgerald kicking field goals for you now.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a mastermonic potting for you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Still got to take care of the business and return, which obviously just fell on its face at the end of the season this year.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then kick return has just been not a threat to anything.
[SPEAKER_01]: You would love for those two things to be improved as well.
[SPEAKER_00]: yeah and i mean special teams will supposed to be the lifeblood of this program under mighty novell and he's talked about the importance of it and these last two years i mean it's arguably parts of it at least i mean you know yet you're all american pundering kicker do unit and twenty twenty four and yet a kick off return from Samuel singleton junior but mean the pundering wasn't good last season and then basically this year all facets of it were [SPEAKER_03]: a failure for for saying you did have some good moments in kickoff return you just didn't return enough of them that was the real issue there I mean we talked about this team just didn't return kicks I don't know the entire amount but Jaylen Lucas I think only had 11 returns this year total I bet as a team it was under 20 it was like under 15 yeah [SPEAKER_01]: Grant Wilkes here on YouTube, these are the ones for you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Poochus is coaching the defense on the FSU Basketball team.
[SPEAKER_01]: He might be.
[SPEAKER_03]: That hurts.
[SPEAKER_01]: He might be.
[SPEAKER_01]: That does hurt.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's things a little bit.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get into that a little bit more.
[SPEAKER_01]: We got to get the real reason.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go on with this FSU Basketball team.
[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, it's not about Tony Tokars.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he is no longer on this staff.
[SPEAKER_01]: I know a lot of the fans.
[SPEAKER_01]: People on Twitter, you know, expressing their feelings on their thoughts of the quarterback play the last few season outside of Jordan Travis has seen him have that improvement until really his last season didn't see him kind of hit his ceiling there.
[SPEAKER_01]: I guess you can say little dinged up as well, but Tony tow cars these last two season just hasn't been able to click as well to be able to get these guys to play on Saturdays.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's felt like at least when you [SPEAKER_01]: I really strong start and you're like, okay, this is nice, but I think all of us on here and some fans are like, all right, let's see how long this can last and also to your plan to get outside of the Alabama game, which was huge.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know.
[SPEAKER_01]: you're playing two ester opponents and then things get really interesting certain for forced aid on the road outside of that Virginia game where they were able to put up points, but we saw the regression of Tommy's play and it just got worse and worse and worse as the season went on.
[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, Tony tow cars, moving on after six years with four estate heading to Buffalo, not enough of those, but he's been above [SPEAKER_00]: just a rough couple of seasons in Tallahassee and like I mean the last two but before that I think there was some really good moments for four to say.
[SPEAKER_00]: So a couple, yes.
[SPEAKER_00]: But like, like, yeah, going over to Arkansas.
[SPEAKER_00]: I just think, you know, it's best for both parties just to kind of have a fresh start at this point with [SPEAKER_00]: the way things have gone as of late and you know Tony Tokars there was some optimism there early on whenever he was promoted the quarterback's coach Kenny Dillonham going over there to take the OC job at Oregon before making his way to Arizona State as the head coach obviously Jordan Travis I mean goes on to have the two most productive seasons of his career in 2022 and 2023 able to sign some guys from the high school level you know Brocklin was was a four star at the time and he had competed at the elite 11 there was some excitement there [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, Luke Kromenhawk and what Florida State's coaching staff and Tony Tokars, I mean, was the one that ultimately identified him at a summer camp before over a year before Luke Kromenhawk had started a game at quarterback at the high school level able to get him on campus.
[SPEAKER_00]: Since then, you know, things have been pretty rough, you know, Brock obviously not taking those steps in his development, Luke transfer and out after one season, I don't think it was Tony's idea to go out and grab DJU and Tommy Castlano's in the transfer portal, but.
[SPEAKER_00]: You've got to work with what you've got.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think you can say both of those guys they didn't have their talents maximized in Tallahassee.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then Gus Melzon, he's your offensive coordinator, but also a guy that has a strong background in quarterbacks.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think he's stepped into that room a little bit and taken some of those roles from Tony Tokars throughout the 20, 25 seasons.
[SPEAKER_00]: So it just seemed like it was best for both parties to part ways at this point.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, it's kind of like we've been talking about with a lot of these coaches.
[SPEAKER_03]: There's just no development.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, even if you go back to Jordan Travis this senior year, as a passer, he took a step back from 2022.
[SPEAKER_03]: He wasn't as strong as a passer as he was in his fifth season.
[SPEAKER_03]: I guess technically, because he played six seasons.
[SPEAKER_03]: It wasn't as good, then DJ was a mess.
[SPEAKER_03]: Tommy was up and down.
[SPEAKER_03]: Brooklyn has not developed at all.
[SPEAKER_03]: Luke Cromanhawk, you were unable to retain.
[SPEAKER_03]: So it's hard to even count that as a recruiting win at this point.
[SPEAKER_03]: And you haven't been able to develop anybody in that room.
[SPEAKER_03]: And that's a problem at a school like Florida State or because you've got to have a good quarterback to win in college football these days.
[SPEAKER_03]: You just have to have a good player back there.
[SPEAKER_03]: We haven't had a good player back there.
[SPEAKER_03]: And a lot of that comes down to coaching and development.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, recruiting has played a part in that.
[SPEAKER_03]: There's a reason that Kevin Spary was the best quarterback you're able to land in last year's class.
[SPEAKER_03]: And there's a lot to like there.
[SPEAKER_03]: But he still needs to be developed.
[SPEAKER_03]: And at this point, so of course, hasn't shown that he can develop those guys.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Florida State's going to look for a transfer portal quarterback.
[SPEAKER_01]: And we've had a big discussion on that.
[SPEAKER_01]: They've got to find a guy that.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm personally saying they've got to find a guy that'll spend a little bit of money on you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I don't know if they will.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'd lean on not long, like that would happen for Florida State.
[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, you got to find somebody that can throw the ball and that's been an issue for Florida State.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he's last two transfer quarterbacks.
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe yeah, you find a guy that can run, be agile and something to guess.
[SPEAKER_01]: My mom's on is going to want to have in his offense, but got to get the ball on air.
[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, that's something that, you know, [SPEAKER_01]: developmental wise for state has had an issue with and these players and they feel strongly about Kevin Spray like he just said busy you know there's some things to like just have not seen enough to where you can name him as Florida State's starting quarterback 2020 sick and it's going to be interesting now you know to a car's moving on what they do [SPEAKER_01]: to bring in as a quarterbacks coach to help out with that room and Gus Malazon.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's going to be extremely important to on the, uh, uh, you know, Kevin Sparey, you know, there's a lot of decisions that both Brock Lynn and Kevin Sparey will also have to make as well as this offseason process moves forward.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's going to rely on who they bring in as a quarterbacks coach and we're going to keep in a very close eye on that.
[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
[SPEAKER_00]: I wonder if it's not going to be a very exciting move, you know, talked about it in the last episode, but for to say, could potentially just give those titles to Gus Malzon, who's got a long history in coaching quarterbacks, along with, you know, being a head coach.
[SPEAKER_00]: an offensive coordinator.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then also ahead of this 20 25 season for the state went out and hired Brendan Wagner as quarterbacks analyst assistant quarterbacks coach.
[SPEAKER_00]: He worked under Gus Malzon previously.
[SPEAKER_00]: At UCF, you know, was on the staff throughout the year.
[SPEAKER_00]: I wonder if maybe they just decide to go ahead and promote him due to the familiarity between both sides.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think they will ever be in that.
[SPEAKER_03]: Probably not, but if we, if we want to, if we want to have a fun discussion, Chris Summer of CBS and 24th of sports just put out a report about the final days of DJ lagway entering the transfer pool and what would down there, flowing out.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: And he has reported that Florida State is expected to show interest among a handful of other schools.
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, that doesn't shock me.
[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't shock me.
[SPEAKER_01]: It really doesn't.
[SPEAKER_01]: Do you want to get involved there?
[SPEAKER_01]: Nope.
[SPEAKER_01]: Did you lag away?
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the next question.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it doesn't shock me.
[SPEAKER_01]: That looks a be one of the involved.
[SPEAKER_01]: Please kick around.
[SPEAKER_01]: See what we're looking like.
[SPEAKER_01]: But do you really want them though?
[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like you're heading back into it.
[SPEAKER_01]: I hate to say it, but you're heading back into a DJU experiment.
[SPEAKER_01]: Someone that has played a good amount of ball, he's played the SEC level in such, but things just could not work well at UF.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I just don't know if a new stop somewhere else, just like DJU did go into Oregon State.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then of course, come to Florida State.
[SPEAKER_01]: That didn't really matter a damn for a for DJU, for his correct, I don't know.
[SPEAKER_01]: like way is I will turn things around.
[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think?
[SPEAKER_01]: Do you live?
[SPEAKER_00]: It's tough to say.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, there's a ton of talent to ton of potential there, but obviously just very inconsistent and there have been stretches of very poor play from DJ lagway over these past two seasons.
[SPEAKER_00]: So do you really want to bring in a reclamation project and do we're dice season?
[SPEAKER_00]: It's [SPEAKER_00]: to go into the unknown.
[SPEAKER_00]: You want a guy that's done it, proved it, has shown consistency and the ability to go out there and win football games.
[SPEAKER_00]: You don't want to get yourself into a question mark going into this season.
[SPEAKER_03]: I agree.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, yes, Lagoa has shown the ability to use his legs, which is something you need in this offense, but he has had some really rough games thrown the football.
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I forget what game it was, that he threw 400 sessions.
[SPEAKER_03]: Was it the Miami game, that he threw 400 sessions this year?
[SPEAKER_01]: It was, um, they're later in the season.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, it was early.
[SPEAKER_03]: It was one of the first three games.
[SPEAKER_03]: Was it U.S.F?
[SPEAKER_03]: I was one of those first few games.
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, yeah, Charlie, if he had five, he can tell with you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Five games.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I was telling.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I was telling.
[SPEAKER_03]: You just you can't have that.
[SPEAKER_03]: You got to have someone that can produce.
[SPEAKER_03]: You got to have someone that could put up numbers and someone that's played winning football.
[SPEAKER_03]: He hasn't played winning football.
[SPEAKER_03]: His coaches got fired too because they couldn't win games and as Grant said, he's hurt a lot like he has all these minor injuries and that adds up like you got to have a quarterback that can go out there win games and lagway just hasn't shown that he could be that.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, now you're totally right there.
[SPEAKER_01]: I knew we were missing something.
[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, he's a guy that's injury problem.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's one that's injury problem and also two likes it though.
[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of interceptions and when I'm talking about past, but I got it like to throw, but you also got to take care of the ball as well and.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is where it gets very interesting.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is a lot of stuff.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just trying to figure out things of connecting the dots of what the staff is going to be able to do through the transfer port.
[SPEAKER_01]: But also to try to understand what the admin is trying to do at the very top of this.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what's their overall game plan?
[SPEAKER_01]: Because you know they had to set up.
[SPEAKER_01]: You got to hope.
[SPEAKER_01]: kind of hope they've had a three year five year kind of plan set and place for all of this and right now it just feels like it's just a lot of scramble and certainly two after you know that stand for the game and you know you thought you'd have a plan for your front office and that's certainly as in the case as we're in December 15th and we're getting closer and closer to where that transfer pool and always going to explode or we've got championship championship championship or the cause of a playoff games.
[SPEAKER_01]: coming up here soon, and then once those teams start losing, then those guys can be entering the transfer port like it is going to get very, very, very busy soon.
[SPEAKER_01]: And for us, it's got to find, they're still looking for a new general manager.
[SPEAKER_01]: And whatever other staff that they put around them, as well, since they feel like that's going to be the biggest fix in order for for us to get wins on Saturdays.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you at least, you got to have that general manager in place before the transfer portal window begins, because obviously you did not for the early signing period, so that GM wasn't able to have any influence there.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, what's the point of bringing in a new GM for this season if he's not there to help evaluate and you know, get guys in from the transfer portal.
[SPEAKER_00]: That would essentially mean you brought in a guy who didn't have any influence on [SPEAKER_00]: what a plan for Florida State, but hopefully they're able to get that guy in the building sooner rather than later because like you kind of said, but I'm going to mean the days are ticking down.
[SPEAKER_00]: You've got things open up on January 2nd.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I mean you've got less than three weeks now to get this higher done.
[SPEAKER_03]: ideally they haven't been placed by the end of this week and there's been as of now there's been no smoke about one or two weeks ago give me three weeks vz give me right after the damn uf game when you knew there's one that game no i agree but i'm saying like if you're gonna have a solid plan in place it has to be by the end of this week because he needs time to evaluate the guys that have already announced their intentions to enter the portal he needs time to evaluate what's currently on the roster [SPEAKER_03]: I just doesn't magically come in one day and the later and later you get the more and more he's going to need input from the coach staff on hey here's what we saw this season he needs to be making his own decisions because the coach's staff may not be here next year.
[SPEAKER_03]: So he's got to get in place now.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, other schools, other agencies are listening to other schools as well, so their way ahead of you.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's given this person has to come in not as much time really and it's going to be interesting depends if they go out to the NFL to grab somebody or have it someone from another school or wherever they decide to go, but you could certainly tell they had no plan in place.
[SPEAKER_01]: There was no plan in place for this and they certainly did not have one right [SPEAKER_01]: after the Stanford game, or even the NC State game.
[SPEAKER_01]: As it's showing, it's true colors.
[SPEAKER_01]: As we speak on that spot, like we said, for us, it's got to find.
[SPEAKER_01]: As General Manager to get things going, because this is immediate.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this is a huge factor.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think when they're looking for a gentleman, they're looking for something that will outlap of course find and reveal on this team.
[SPEAKER_01]: And a lot of that reporting will go to the front office on where things head.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because you don't expect for Mike or about to be your head coach.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think going into the 2027 season, but you know what, we've all been, we've been through some unbelievable stuff the last couple here.
[SPEAKER_01]: So what in shock me, sadly, if this is 2027, but, you know, nonetheless, it has to be this way where, you know, you look at like an NFL organization.
[SPEAKER_01]: For example, Jason life for the Tammy Bucknears at your journal manager, you can still move on from you had coach most certainly.
[SPEAKER_01]: and keep your GM, if you feel like you're doing a good job, they usually is the case unless that general manager position is not performing to what it should be that's priorities and then Florida State, you know, you've got to reach an ACC championship, man, that's just not been the way with how these rosters have been built and Tallahassee the last two years.
[SPEAKER_01]: uh...
let's move on roll real quick i mentioned though you know nickwam's for state's edge coach became official for the seminal's big time recruiter as well which is going to help for the state hopefully but uh...
really interest is see how well he does to on the field with about the guys on the edge because there's some young talent to work with there and speaking of front office dear gray off the ucla front office job um...
and uh...
the seminal is removing on there [SPEAKER_01]: any last thoughts on the the addition of lambs and the departure of Derek Ray.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, four to state officially announced this the addition of Nick Williams to the coaching staff as the edge coach and past specialist back on Thursday.
[SPEAKER_00]: I will just [SPEAKER_00]: read off Mike Norvel's comment on the addition.
[SPEAKER_00]: He said I'm excited to add Nick to our coaching staff.
[SPEAKER_00]: He is a relentless worker who does a great job building relationships.
[SPEAKER_00]: He is a proven ability to develop high level production evidence by his multiple NFL draft picks along the defensive line.
[SPEAKER_00]: Nick is a South Georgia native who will make his presence felt attracting top talent to the program teaming up with coach night and providing great leadership for our defensive front.
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, Nick Williams official, and Derek Ray, gone.
[SPEAKER_01]: Peace.
[SPEAKER_01]: We set.
[SPEAKER_01]: Hi.
[SPEAKER_01]: Do I position, what do we get the official position for him?
[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Is he gone to the same role over there with them?
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go back to the West Coast.
[SPEAKER_01]: You guys from over there, closer to imagine family ties as well on the West Coast.
[SPEAKER_01]: And a lot of guys looking for a little reason, like we're talking about what Coach Yack, you know, getting to reset their tow cars, reset getting a bigger role there as an offensive coordinator, [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, you can say that more that might reveal tree man.
[SPEAKER_01]: He sent someone off to the SEC then he was able to get a 20 tow cars as a offensive coordinator, and okay, it is UCLA so you're definitely stepping down the ladder quite a bit But just speaking of Derek Ray man, like that's gonna be a hefty dog to be able to handle like he's I was he was having to do a fires here in town, has he [SPEAKER_01]: Dude, the ones over there, UCLA, they've got a lot to deal with.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he's got a big job ahead of him for himself.
[SPEAKER_00]: Got to be tough, no doubt, but, you know, I do like that coaching higher UCLA made, bringing in the James Madison head coach.
[SPEAKER_00]: A guy who's won at all of his previous stops and, you know, we'll see if he's able to continue doing that at the FPS level and then, you know, as far as Derek Raya, I think.
[SPEAKER_00]: you know the last two years of four to state we're obviously a big disappointment the first two seasons were we're pretty solid overall with what four to state was able to do especially from as far as bringing guys in from the transfer portal but the last two classes I mean you've had more more bust than guys who have produced on the field for you and you know the high school recruiting [SPEAKER_00]: hasn't been any better.
[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, at the end of the day, recruiting, scouting.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's basically the primary role of his job and also acquiring guys all the transfer portal and just too many misses than hits at this point.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, gotta do better, gotta do better.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right, gentlemen, let's say I want to bring up a topic to you guys.
[SPEAKER_01]: I thought this would be pretty fun here.
[SPEAKER_01]: Five players for the state must retain going into the 2026 season because we could see a lot of flashes from some of you guys.
[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of guys that end up being starters for you some freshmen as well that we're about to talk about here.
[SPEAKER_01]: But I wanted to give a list here from one, [SPEAKER_01]: down to five who would be the top five that y'all would be after.
[SPEAKER_01]: I've got my list on here as well, I can start off.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you guys want, I'm putting Usman Kroma at one there.
[SPEAKER_01]: And there's been some talk and chatter that when coming to Florida State, he was originally committed to Georgia, making that big flip there that in his and I held the old that this was going to be for a multi-year [SPEAKER_01]: track, but still I don't trust much as I have not been able to trust much of this team and staff and administration for the last two years.
[SPEAKER_01]: So that's why I'm still putting them on here.
[SPEAKER_01]: They must retain a loose main chroma for mine at number one.
[SPEAKER_00]: And clearly the the multi-year deals don't matter because you saw that guy from Georgia [SPEAKER_00]: And then George is suing Missouri for like $300,000 or something like that to recoup part of the contract.
[SPEAKER_03]: So again, I mean, and the guy from was a Xavier Lucas that went from Wisconsin to Miami, like it happens.
[SPEAKER_03]: They have ways out.
[SPEAKER_00]: So we're, it's a weird sport nowadays, but we're starting with one, like the most important guy.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we're getting straight to the punch.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to be interesting to see kind of thing going [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna start off, guy who's not necessarily gonna enter the portal, but potentially the NFL.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna go do S Robinson, you know, your main weapon on offense in 2025.
[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, maybe you have an opportunity to retain him, depending on how much NIL you're willing to back up and, you know, do's potentially another season at the college level.
[SPEAKER_00]: He could solidify himself as a top three round guy, I think.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's exactly how I went.
[SPEAKER_03]: When you gave it to us, my thought process was, who were the five guys that can impact winning most next year and to me, Doos Robertson's number one.
[SPEAKER_03]: He was just too good through this program this year.
[SPEAKER_03]: He could have been a bullet in the cop finalists and no one would have scoffed at it.
[SPEAKER_03]: And he was a couple plays away from really having the most productive receiver season some Florida state history.
[SPEAKER_03]: So if you're going to plan on winning next year, Doos Robertson has to be the biggest priority.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this is very important.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's a guy that, as we know, if he cleans up a few things too as well, I mean, he would have scored multiple other touchdowns.
[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, he there's a lot of plays that he wanted to have back, but he would be an immediate factor for you in 2016.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but we talked about where this quarterback room is headed.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I got to find answers for Duce man and a lot of these other writers here because you know that there's some young talent in there as well, but you got to find someone that can get to get the ball to him and Tommy Casano said, if he was, if he was able to come in and ride with Tommy and no one that, you know, this was going to be a guy that's not the biggest passer and is the most accurate and is just going to kind of give you some bombs and shots and please make a play for me.
[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you Duce.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think if Florida State is able to, [SPEAKER_01]: find improvement there with the guy the ball.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I need you to have a good shot of keeping dude because I think you really did enjoy his time in Tallahassee, but they've got to start finding these answers early.
[SPEAKER_01]: Start keeping some retirement on some of these guys.
[SPEAKER_01]: Number two, where you all at with number two here.
[SPEAKER_03]: Should we just go reverse order this time?
[SPEAKER_01]: You're right ahead.
[SPEAKER_03]: Number two for me is Manuel DeZier.
[SPEAKER_03]: Prof.
Bob Focus didn't really love his season.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like he was one of the lower graded fenders on Florida State's team, but he led the team in pressures of 24.
[SPEAKER_03]: Easily led them in sacks with six at 16 quarterback curries as a true freshman mind you.
[SPEAKER_03]: He still has a lot of potential.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's got the frame that really matters in this kind of system.
[SPEAKER_03]: And yes, we can quibble about does the 335 actually work in an at a program like Florida State.
[SPEAKER_03]: But if it's going to work, mandrel to see is going to be a focus of that system moving forward.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think, you know, you can kind of lump both of those guys in there.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_00]: When it was together, because they're either both stand or they're both going.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not one out situation.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, those guys are locked in with one another.
[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously.
[SPEAKER_00]: I've got them coming later on.
[SPEAKER_00]: My number two is Drew Brill Rawls, you know, miss part of the 2025 season due to an injury, but when he was out there, I mean, in my opinion, he was Fortestate's best defensive player, this season, you know, showed physicality coming up there to stock runs and was pretty good in past coverage as well.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's a building block for Fortestate with the culture and what he brings to a locker room, not only with his play on the field, [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I got to do there too.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I already talked about him a good bit.
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's keep moving here to number three.
[SPEAKER_01]: Where do you have that stand here for you?
[SPEAKER_01]: Do you lose start us off?
[SPEAKER_00]: I think I'll go twins here, you know, both of those guys, they look pretty solid as true freshmen.
[SPEAKER_00]: I was a man drill leading the team in sacks.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think he was one of the top past rushing defensive tackles and the entirety of the FBS, you know, not just among true freshmen, it's really impressive to see what he did this year and [SPEAKER_00]: You know, Darrell as well had some solid flash.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think 23 quarterback pressures, something around that.
[SPEAKER_00]: So you would just figure, you know, both of those guys can keep growing.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I think they're probably more of high floor low ceiling types, but there is still some room for them to continue to grow and develop right now.
[SPEAKER_00]: If they can get to their ceiling, I mean, they're gonna be really nice pieces for Fort estate for multiple years.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think Tony White loves them, obviously.
[SPEAKER_01]: We saw him, we saw him play in the Alabama game.
[SPEAKER_01]: were these guys coming up first drive.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, literally.
[SPEAKER_01]: I was like there in the stands like wait a second.
[SPEAKER_01]: What the heck is the seared twins are in there?
[SPEAKER_01]: We're hearing great things about them in the camps and such, but to see it be able to throw those guys out there and I just like their energy.
[SPEAKER_01]: I like the energy that's the mentality that you want to see for four to state defense and those guys got stick around.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I agree there.
[SPEAKER_01]: I've got [SPEAKER_01]: So if we talk about, I've already had Kroma, we've talked about Duce.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a, I'm a Jibrio Rolls here too.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's for me at number three.
[SPEAKER_01]: When we're talking about energy and what matches, the dishears, that's Jibrio Rolls.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the way that he played, we would have our instant reactions to me like, so you need 10 more of those guys out there.
[SPEAKER_01]: Good, tackler.
[SPEAKER_01]: I thought he brought some accountability too as well, which you really need for forced stay, which at first at the beginning of the year you did have that and it fell off in the middle part of it as well and you could tell to do a time for it as it was heard in the federal land Jerry Wilson with Jerry Wilson.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, was a disastrous addition for forced stay sadly what you didn't think that was going to happen, but wasn't the greatest and I think.
[SPEAKER_01]: And because you're tan wanted to see some of the younger guys out there over Jerry Wilson as much we don't know entirely about that, but I think he felt pretty confident some of these younger guys and wanted to get them more playing time over Jerry coming in and they got put into a position to bring in a more experienced guy like Jerry, but to drill Rolls ended up being your top corner and you beat out a lot of guys to get into that position and you got to make sure you do a good job of doing that and you're seeing I think I don't both have put some out on his Instagram app and [SPEAKER_01]: Dr.
Bill Rawls and a photo and said, you know, you're up next or, you know, China recruit him away from FSU.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be, you know, not an easy task or floor seat to try to keep this guy here because he's going to get some offers from other colleges across the country.
[SPEAKER_03]: three for me was who's man Kroma I know you get I knew very talked about them Logan, but if we're going to have a bell car running back which can Martin the new running back coaches consistently had 1000 yard rusher everywhere he's been Kroma's the likely a sky to be able to do that.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, yes, I'm single 10 has talent.
[SPEAKER_03]: Cam Davis has talent.
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think either of them have the upside that Usman chrome out brains is really good as a true freshman and if you can have another off season in a college strength and conditioning program at a little bit more speed to that frame, he's gonna be a terror because he's got everything you want as a running back.
[SPEAKER_03]: And I think he's someone that you have to keep moving forward.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think dude, the rotating is going to diminish like you just can't Martin coming in, that's going to trim up a whole time.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think you see one, two, one, two punch.
[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, there might be some mad series from Crumpup.
[SPEAKER_01]: There might be some times where he doesn't have the whole, the right spot and such, that's fine, let him learn man, let him learn.
[SPEAKER_01]: You don't have to throw in another running back out there and just completely switch up things until you don't even see him for the rest of the game.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's exactly what would happen, which is absolutely stunning to me.
[SPEAKER_01]: And here's me about having gustmiles on again.
[SPEAKER_01]: I understand they probably come into this year.
[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't going to be the full philosophy of a gustmiles on offense.
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe there's some agreements where, you know, what's the person now we have?
[SPEAKER_01]: This is how it's going to be.
[SPEAKER_01]: But I this is for the state you've got to win and if that's your best runny bag, you just ride with that guy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let him learn that that's who's saying crawl off to me.
[SPEAKER_03]: the impressive thing for me with him was his ability to break tackles like it was an often that he went down on the first to much less second hit like he was just able to shrug them off and keep running and that's going to be huge for for this offense that's why trade bets and was so successful because he was able to break that contact and really get it going he led Florida State in yards after contact and he only had 91 snaps this year [SPEAKER_01]: What do we have?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, that's like right with them, right with it.
[SPEAKER_01]: We can grow a lot of food and forward.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right, number four, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: I think we all have three, all right.
[SPEAKER_01]: We all got our three, so let's move on to number four.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's back over to me now.
[SPEAKER_01]: Give me the Wayne McCoy.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna add in a passing quarterback, which we're hoping, then I'm going there with the Wayne.
[SPEAKER_01]: And start to see a little bit of a groove there at the end of the season.
[SPEAKER_01]: The guy that likes to play with a lot of passion, which I do love, and I like seeing that, as long as you take care of it, and be mature with it.
[SPEAKER_01]: But I think he's really talented.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he runs some Chris Browns for you, he's got some good hands for you as well, reliable guy.
[SPEAKER_01]: to, and I thought he was widersy, R2, did not, you know, we didn't see squirrel wide after that.
[SPEAKER_01]: Bama game until he moved upon against NC State, but it was easily the way McCoy is widersy, R2, and this as well, but I think we see as my number four here.
[SPEAKER_01]: In my next.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, get right ahead.
[SPEAKER_00]: Go and get you.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't hate it.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't hate it, you know, [SPEAKER_00]: Might be on my list.
[SPEAKER_00]: I got a couple names note in here.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to decide between my number four.
[SPEAKER_00]: You guys have already put them on the list.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be chroma [SPEAKER_00]: I think he's another guy that can be a building block for you in the future.
[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously this season didn't arrive on campus until June and was still able to work his way into the rotation there and play a big role for Florida State.
[SPEAKER_00]: This will be his first true college off season and it'll be a big time for him to continue in that development and if he is able to achieve that upside that that high ceiling, he's going to be a very good one for [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so my, my first thing like I was said on Tuesday, the series in Kroma, and then I was the side of between four guys for these last two slots.
[SPEAKER_03]: There's first one that ended up going with Kai Danzi.
[SPEAKER_03]: I just think someone that is not fast and not special with the ball in his hands has to be somebody focused on.
[SPEAKER_03]: Especially being a guy that's a Tallahassee native that really wants to, to represent [SPEAKER_03]: like he had a lot of issues with the ball in his hands and get like actually catching the ball, which if you're going to be a receiver, you've got to focus on that.
[SPEAKER_03]: But someone that is that electric, like when his 80% jog is faster than everybody else on the football field, you got to retain a guy like that.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's too special with talent, speed wise for him to not be a priority.
[SPEAKER_03]: That includes just him saying, hey, I just want to focus on track.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
[SPEAKER_03]: You've got to find a way to keep this guy in the [SPEAKER_01]: I agree on that and he's right there in my top five just for that reason of speed and it's going to get interesting to Because if you look at it, you know, he's a track star and there's a lot of schools across the country that will also look for his talents as well, but I think the homegrown ties will hopefully Help for to stay in its favor there, but I would imagine that a lot of schools are looking at us too, you know, it just needs someone to run the sweeps [SPEAKER_01]: Who else is going to run the sweeps?
[SPEAKER_01]: Is it going to be?
[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be the kind to answer, of course.
[SPEAKER_01]: But if you can improve, there is, first season to as a wider receiver, came in as a runny back as well.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the development will be huge, and I'd like to what we've seen from your wider receivers coach with Tim Harris.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I think you see a strong future ahead for him, but I agree with you in my top five as well.
[SPEAKER_01]: To retain, he was the guy that brought a lot of bursts, a lot of explosiveness to your offense.
[SPEAKER_01]: And if that's something Gusman's on, likes to do, [SPEAKER_01]: Then, you know, that's what you want to add there to your offense.
[SPEAKER_01]: Go from the 26 and much to be routine.
[SPEAKER_00]: Remember, I mean, this was a guy who was just fighting to be in the rotation, probably going into that 20, 25 season.
[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, ends up being one of your top wide receivers and getting into that starting lineup as the year progressed.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I mean, just made plenty of explosive highlight plays as the speed that you can't teach.
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's a guy.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, four to say absolutely, they got to keep them on the roster.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, tell us he native, he grew up wanting to play at four to state.
[SPEAKER_00]: The offers are going to come in from other places, but four to say they need to do everything in their power to keep this guy in Garnet Gold.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right, where are we on?
[SPEAKER_01]: We're at, we're at five.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I got a, I got maybe a surprise name for my fifth, you know, I thought about Lohane, I thought about Rawls, but I don't like the numbers that's being float around for what is going to take to keep him in Tallahassee.
[SPEAKER_03]: So when away from him, I'm going with Sanman Thompson.
[SPEAKER_03]: I got those two freshmen, but you got to have guys that you can develop on that offensive line.
[SPEAKER_03]: And he looked so good as a true freshman that you got to keep him around and have a building block for the next three, four years.
[SPEAKER_03]: Especially as a center because the centers are going to be huge for getting the rest of the offensive lines set and make it sure everyone's in tune and Sandman showed that much potential Just as a true freshman as he continues to develop under her pan.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's a guy that you have to have to have to keep I like it, you know, I had him I had him noted down as well along with Lowe McCoy who was previously mentioned [SPEAKER_00]: had Kevin win on here, but I think for my number five, I'm going to go with the Murray Williams, because Fortress Day, I mean, they need this serious boost off that edge.
[SPEAKER_00]: And one thing I will remind people about a Murray Williams is, I mean, he's still a year below what he should really be.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, originally a 2026 recruit, he reclassified to that 2025 class came in as a true freshman.
[SPEAKER_00]: They pretty much had him on offense for the entirety of that year and then started to make the switch to defense this offseason where he was practicing on both sides of the ball made that really a full time move there late in September.
[SPEAKER_00]: So because you know he started off getting some reps on offense and defense had a had a game where he caught a touchdown and then on the next defensive play he recorded a sack.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's some real potential there.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's very young.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think this is going to be a big off season for him and his growth and for state.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they absolutely have to get that past rush back on the right right side and you know, with a new position coach coming in, a guy who has produced guys at his previous stops and who will be the edge coach and past rest specialist, maybe a Mario Williams can finally have his breakout in 2026.
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe so I'm I think I'd be I don't know I've I've lost because I did like top six Because I don't crawl up.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm telling the seared twins have done roles.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why I'm a quay and I've already done do So I can I do what you span what you span.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, do not call my car do What are we doing?
[SPEAKER_01]: I do span.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, no, I give nightmares to everybody [SPEAKER_01]: And he score like a big touch on this last season.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's right.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's worth down conversion.
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_03]: That is more than I thought do Span did for pit this year.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you did it against FSU, so.
[SPEAKER_00]: I listen.
[SPEAKER_03]: I have already blocked this season out of my memory.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let me do like a little honorable mention though, real quick.
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to give one, it depends.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's a veteran guy.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he's played with Gus Mazon.
[SPEAKER_01]: Jane?
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, sorry.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's never mind.
[SPEAKER_03]: Who?
[SPEAKER_03]: I thought you were going to say James Williams, he said very good.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, stop, don't be silly, don't be stupid.
[SPEAKER_01]: Don't be stupid, don't be stupid, don't be stupid.
[SPEAKER_01]: Don't get silly now.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not the wealth, do you want to not blame them?
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not the wealth, why would you have been to then?
[SPEAKER_01]: Play like a real defense event, don't start with me like that.
[SPEAKER_01]: Look here in Pittsburgh, we respect good ass white defense events up here.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, to tell you what, please be okay.
[SPEAKER_01]: One situation with the trainers, need to be fired, should have been fired yesterday.
[SPEAKER_01]: My gosh, scared me.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyways, we got high cement tonight.
[SPEAKER_01]: We got her big, that are other rookie feeling great.
[SPEAKER_01]: Feeling great about night.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be right.
[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for your attention.
[SPEAKER_01]: Randy Pettman.
[SPEAKER_01]: Nanny Pettman.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a good one.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, Randy Pettman in there.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think that Andrew Pethley, [SPEAKER_01]: and linger throughout the season.
[SPEAKER_01]: You could tell, you know, he pushed as much as he could throughout that Alabama game, but man, man, just it kind of hurt him a little bit, but man.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he was all over the, he threw a touchdown, he had two receiving touchdowns, he had three rushing touchdowns.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this dude was a little hybrid for you on this offensive side, the ball 2008 yards and receiving as well.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think Florida State is hoping to implicate [SPEAKER_01]: if they can and I think they were affected by Tommy and just with how, you know, he's not a great passer, I think, you know, they would like to keep bringing him around and I think that helps the tunnel with your offense and both what you want to do and your schemes blocking and also to hopefully more in the past game and to the rush game and he was huge for you and the red zone as well.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just a big playmaker and also to play with a lot of physicality and you can build a lot around that as a tie-in with him.
[SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think the injury is really limited his effectiveness for Florida State throughout the season and even still.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he was able to produce for you as a receiver and clutch moments as a rusher and even as a passer.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, just kind of did it all for this Florida State offense.
[SPEAKER_00]: Still a level to go for him.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think he can raise his productivity obviously if he's a little bit more healthy.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's got those three years of experience playing under Gus.
[SPEAKER_00]: So why not one more run if Florida State puts enough money on the [SPEAKER_03]: And it would also help if he has a quarterback that can actually get it to him consistently.
[SPEAKER_03]: That would help.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And honestly, if you look at her, I didn't room that kind of need it a little bit to be honest with you.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we're at Atlanta, Thomas go last year.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh no, don't know where he went and Marquise and Douglas has gone as well.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you kind of need this, and they moved over, changed loft and no water.
[SPEAKER_01]: She wrote a magic, and he moves back over to Tyden, but he dealt with the season ending injury to last year.
[SPEAKER_01]: On the side end room, they need Randy Pittman.
[SPEAKER_01]: So that's kind of another factor there for me.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anything else gentlemen, and honorable mentions, before we get to Schaut's sleeper and then basketball latest to wrap it up?
[SPEAKER_00]: I've got a couple for my side.
[SPEAKER_00]: I've got LaWaine McCoy, who you guys have mentioned.
[SPEAKER_00]: I've got Kevin Wynn and I've got Samuel Singleton Jr.
And also, same-man Thompson.
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yes.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's the only other honorable mention.
[SPEAKER_03]: I would say a spary, but he was never going to sniff the top five, just considering the names we've mentioned, but you got to have a quarterback in every minute that you feel good about developing.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: There too as my honorable mention.
[SPEAKER_00]: I thought about it, but you know, 17 pass attempts for the state can't bank on him going into 2026 at his phone.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, yeah, I agree with that.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like he's not, I don't think any of us expect him to be the starter next year, but you still want to have a guy in the room that you can develop to potentially be the starter in 2027.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know, that's if think that's thinking if Mike Moreville's back, I guess for 2027 because if he's not I mean majority of these guys are going to hit the portal anyway and the new coach that comes in is going to bring in his own guys whether transfers from his previous stops.
[SPEAKER_00]: Guys who were committed to him and his recruiting class like we've seen for some of the coaching movement throughout this cycle.
[SPEAKER_00]: So it was just hard for me to justify put them on there.
[SPEAKER_01]: mm-hmm and what we'll do a way deeper die once things kind of slow down a new cycle we'll have a lot of time to do these kind of things so we'll get a Excel sheet we'll start listening out things and some of them will be blocking off just in case they end up hitting the portal themselves but before we move on to some of the basketball let's fish out over to our friends over there at the [SPEAKER_01]: Sleeper, if you guys use code noles down below, N-O-L-E-S, as you guys can see right there, go down into the description.
[SPEAKER_01]: You guys can use our code there, get 100% match up to $100 on your first deposit.
[SPEAKER_01]: We've been using Sleeper.
[SPEAKER_01]: Did we get a win this last?
[SPEAKER_01]: We got it when we did get a win this last week and we're not making picks tonight and honestly it's probably for the good since I'm up here in Pittsburgh and I would probably make some picks and they'd go completely reverse and that factor for us so we're not going to make any picks here but we do a pretty super partnering with us this entire football season like I said definitely use that code NOL as you can do more less also great for fantasy also to if you just want.
[SPEAKER_01]: like the quickest updates ever for you guys if you're on fantasy or just if you're one of the follow your team like for me for the Steelers like I've got it connected to my Steelers alerts I get these alerts so quick it's almost faster than how you get them on you know X and Twitter and so I show highly suggest you guys go download the app today sleeper 100% match up to $100 [SPEAKER_01]: code in OLES, no hold and appreciate them.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, uh, for a partner with us throughout that's tires season.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right, gentlemen, go now with that VC basketball.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, before we talk about that, should we talk about Kai Bates and her in the portal?
[SPEAKER_03]: Just real quick.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
[SPEAKER_01]: There we go.
[SPEAKER_01]: Time out some defensive backs entering the portal.
[SPEAKER_01]: Here we go.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, we're just talking about it.
[SPEAKER_01]: We did a dive into that corner back room, talking about what Brandon Harris and what the future outlook is going to look for some of these guys, trying to retain them, the staff felt very high on him coming through his recruitment.
[SPEAKER_01]: You probably have a little bit more detail on that one, D-Loo.
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's another potential attrition there from the roster for Florida State and in secondary.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I made a four star guy.
[SPEAKER_00]: coming in and his recruiting class and he was obviously in that class alongside Charles Lester Ricky Knight and some of those other guys in that DB room and you know another one where he just hasn't been able to get on the field these past two seasons only has two career tackles to his name and you know even with the injuries popping up in the cornerback room.
[SPEAKER_00]: this season where Quandarius Jones was knocked out pretty early on in the campaign and took real bits of time in September and then missed the last couple of games of the year.
[SPEAKER_00]: He still just wasn't able to work himself into that rotation and we talked about Jerry Wilson's struggles and for what a state was even starting true freshman Schumerar knew for a couple of games there and [SPEAKER_00]: You know, Charles Lester was the primary backup in that instance, and you weren't seeing a lot of chibates on the field, and, you know, I think he just saw the writing on the wall, especially with the guy who recruited him, now being fired before to say, and he can go out and try and get a fresh start somewhere.
[SPEAKER_01]: let's go on.
[SPEAKER_01]: What's happening?
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I want to hear the truth, though, like what what needs to be fixed, what's the issue right now?
[SPEAKER_01]: And I understand too.
[SPEAKER_01]: The roster is not exact.
[SPEAKER_01]: And not anywhere close to where Luke's one or Luke wants it.
[SPEAKER_01]: But what what's just going to go on with the team right now, before they head into some ACC play later on?
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, coming off a bad loss against UMass on Saturday and New Orange Bowl Classic, [SPEAKER_03]: final score is 103 to 95.
[SPEAKER_03]: I've already taken the box score down because I was tired of looking at it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Just just a ugly defensive game.
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, guys were over pursuing on the perimeter trying to force a turnover and then weren't rotating correctly behind them, especially down low, just you're getting torched by Leonardo Bettsiol and Daniel Hankins Sanford who both ended up with [SPEAKER_03]: in that game and a lot of them are just wide open looks or looks that were way too easy part of it's the roster because force they just doesn't have the centers that they need to be a good team like a lyrm aloo has potential he's still little too skinny little too [SPEAKER_03]: uh, lacks a days ago with his hands.
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, Alexstein just doesn't have the size needed.
[SPEAKER_03]: And Shabmo Hamid as good as an athlete as he is, he's just not a good player.
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and as part of this roster's promise, they're just not very talented, very athletic players.
[SPEAKER_03]: And that's a lot of that's from the funding issues and all sorts of other things.
[SPEAKER_03]: But it's, [SPEAKER_03]: And it's a lot of things.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, Scheme is part of it.
[SPEAKER_03]: They're trying to create turnovers.
[SPEAKER_03]: And when they're not in those turnovers, they're just not rotating correctly on the back side.
[SPEAKER_03]: And that's leading to a lot of issues.
[SPEAKER_03]: But at part of it's effort.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, Laox laid into them on the radio broadcasts.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's like, this effort just cannot stand.
[SPEAKER_03]: We can't be this far in the season.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm still coaching effort.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's inexcusable.
[SPEAKER_03]: but part of his the roster is just isn't that tough that they're not that athletic and that's going to come back to bite them and in some of these other games and they they go to Dayton tomorrow.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's not going to mean easy game either.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, the Dayton allows teams to shoot 40% from three, but you're playing at a place that is still there.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but Dayton says historically tough place to play and Dayton's, you know, found a lot of success with Anthony Graniz, their head coach these last few years.
[SPEAKER_03]: And they're coming ready to play in Florida State hasn't come ready to play.
[SPEAKER_03]: And most of these last four games that have all been lost as for them.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, the Houston loss was at least a step in the right direction.
[SPEAKER_03]: But then you take six steps backwards with a loss to UMass who while they are, well, they do have some talent.
[SPEAKER_03]: They shouldn't be beating Florida State at any point in time.
[SPEAKER_03]: and part of it's like, hey, Marcus Banks Jr.
is a really good shooter.
[SPEAKER_03]: Why are we leaving him open with one second left on the shot clock to help off a defender who's driving, it just doesn't make sense.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's a lot of brain deadness takes as well, but that's just this team just doesn't have that kind of talent to overcome that.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I mean, it really feels like the effort has lacked in three of these last four losses during this tough stretch for Ford estate.
[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, I think part of it, you know, [SPEAKER_00]: Luke Logs had a gun and completely rebuild this team only had two guys returned to the program and a lot of this was built on on guys that he offered right after he got to Fortestate in the high school class and then landing a bunch of guys out of the portal and you know, you were able to beat up on some of those non-conference teams who frankly aren't very good but now that you're starting to play against some legitimate competition I think you're starting to see some of the wards with this roster [SPEAKER_00]: And I mean, it's just going to take some time.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, remember, Luke Lauks.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he had a scramble to get things together.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's got a really good recruiting class signed for this upcoming year.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, this was never going to be a quote on quote, quick fix for four to say basketball.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to be some growing pains.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to be some words.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think you have to give Luke Lauks his time.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he will get this thing going back in the right direction.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, there's not good.
[SPEAKER_03]: There's not really a lot of patients with four to state fans right now because they're tied of football being bad, so they're looking to other outlets.
[SPEAKER_03]: But basketball was never going to be a quick fix.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like NCAA tournament was never going to happen this year.
[SPEAKER_03]: Probably won't even happen next year.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like this is going to take multiple multiple years to get the fun.
[SPEAKER_03]: A, a get the funding that he needs and be to get the town and that he needs to be successful in the ACC.
[SPEAKER_03]: Again, that doesn't excuse the loss to UMass.
[SPEAKER_03]: He would be the first one to tell you.
[SPEAKER_03]: the changes, isn't that good?
[SPEAKER_03]: They're not that talented.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you know what?
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a good year for Luke Lachs to learn too, as I had coaches for a time being ahead of coaches and a lot from this.
[SPEAKER_01]: I always try to take the positives out of things and try to be optimistic, but you know, he is going to learn a lot and certainly to an effort side that is going to be always a focus for you as I had coach and any profession and that's got to be better.
[SPEAKER_01]: And [SPEAKER_01]: He's going to learn how to coach that and improve that and set a bar for how it should be every game So I see a young guy is going to learn and such and like you said the talent is just not there Yeah, but next year.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's some younger guys that are going to come in and you know They're going to start to build on that developmental and it's going to take a while like you just said multi-year Situation for basketball, but I like you said I was just thinking that too.
[SPEAKER_01]: I was like man You know fans were like immediately looking for basketball and hoping okay things go very well there and you know blah blah blah [SPEAKER_01]: make it, you know, whatever you do with ACC, but that just wasn't going to be the case, just sucks that, you know, football has done this two years in a row to you where kind of just like looking for something to do for the rest of the year and it's just just still go out there and support the man, just go still go out there and support and women's soccer just want to damn national championships.
[SPEAKER_01]: Real quick, we'll wrap it up here.
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to give a shout out to Zaynul Argat or Zaynul always on here with us on YouTube.
[SPEAKER_01]: Don't attend dollar bomb on a scene.
[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate the content boys.
[SPEAKER_01]: Looking, make sure you go grab a Penitee sandwich.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that's how that's pronounced.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you had chances to know that I'm at a completely, I completely did not see the R and did not see the R.
And I got to, and you know what, that's embarrassing for me.
[SPEAKER_01]: But that's my first time in Pittsburgh though.
[SPEAKER_01]: Permanente sandwich.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's right there.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's right on it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Go to Mount Washington.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to see Darnell Washington in person today.
[SPEAKER_01]: Truck somebody.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
[SPEAKER_01]: I can't wait.
[SPEAKER_01]: But then go right to ankle.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're doing that tomorrow.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then maybe the Steelers Hall of Fame honor and Hall of Honor and the stadium tour.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm hoping so, man.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm hoping so.
[SPEAKER_01]: Should you get down.
[SPEAKER_01]: I preach a 10 to 10 of them.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's not still laughing at me.
[SPEAKER_01]: But he say earlier, what did Dustin say earlier?
[SPEAKER_01]: That was completely off so he can laugh at him too.
[SPEAKER_01]: There was something.
[SPEAKER_03]: It hasn't been too bad.
[SPEAKER_01]: Dealer knows he knows.
[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't say boost ban.
[SPEAKER_01]: yeah well today he's been today he's been fine as a guy who always points out when he when he messes out those kind of stuff he was fine today he was fine for today and then he last yet now I got me good on but yeah now thank you they know for the donation they're looking for to the game is gonna be called man and that is gonna be like in the teens [SPEAKER_01]: And snowing right now as we speak, little light flurries, but not too crazy, but I'm looking forward to being there for my first game and surely the mighty dolphins will come in here and ruin my trip.
[SPEAKER_01]: Surely that wouldn't happen because they're no one for not being able to play in the cold.
[SPEAKER_03]: I just really got amazing.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, it would not be.
[SPEAKER_01]: How is just about to say congratulations for being the Cowboys last night, but Cowboys are dukey.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, they are like, they made JJ McArthur look like a good quarterback.
[SPEAKER_01]: Any one of us could throw against that secondary for the Cowboys.
[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, that's been doing for us.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see you guys later in the week.
[SPEAKER_01]: And if you guys want us to, we'll do a deep dive into why Florida State shouldn't go back or do you do that way, because I do see handful of comments on that.
[SPEAKER_01]: But it will stand that for later in the league.
[SPEAKER_01]: And like I said, we've got a lot of other topics to go through.
[SPEAKER_01]: Later on, but we appreciate you all listening.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you're still here on with us on YouTube, consider hitting that like button down below.
[SPEAKER_01]: We would appreciate it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Help us go out to more FSU fans and get them in here, drop in some topics, some comments.
[SPEAKER_01]: We appreciate it too.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you haven't hit the subscribe button, hit the bell next to it and notify you when we do go live straight to your phone.
[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate all the new subscribers over the last few weeks.
[SPEAKER_01]: Y'all stay warm.
[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody stay warm
