Greetings and welcome to another week of vigilantes, the podcast of MilkaR FM, in which we are going through the Watchmen series by HBO, which this week has reached its penultimate episode.
This first season leaves us only ahead of the episode that is normally called Season Finale.
So let's go with it, let's not waste any more time because it has given us a lot.
Let's start with what I think was the clue to what was going to be the main argument of this week's episode.
That neon in yellow is called Watchmen, and what happens when it turns blue?
We've seen this before in another episode, in which the neon turned violet, the color with which more or less represents the character played by Angela Eibar.
What we are going to see here is something that does not surprise us, because in the trailer of the series we already saw it.
It is that moment when there is garbage on the ground, empty bottles, a symbol of a party that has happened, and we see a suit at the bottom, pants, black shoes, of someone who passes by a mask of Dr.
Manhattan, stops, a blue hand appears and takes that mask.
That brief moment that we already saw in the trailer allowed us to anticipate what finally happened, because we have an episode dedicated entirely to seeing the conflict of Dr.
Manhattan and how Dr.
Manhattan reaches the current Watchmen from the Dr.
Manhattan that we saw in the comic book or even in the movie.
In that aspect there are no subtle differences between one and the other.
By the way, here it is sounding.
We are going to hear a couple of songs that have to do with the word blue, sorry, in English, blue, which is the characteristic color of Dr.
Manhattan.
We start by listening to a disco version of the famous Rhapsody in Blue.
That mask is put on, we can already intuit that it is Dr.
Manhattan, and that it is put on precisely to hide his identity, as he will later tell us.
It goes through the lyrics of the title of the chapter, which is that title, a god enters a bar as if it were the beginning of a joke, and it is literally what happens.
We see that Dr.
Manhattan, for some it is almost a kind of god on earth, enters the bar, which is in Vietnam.
We have seen the same painting that already in a previous chapter we discovered that it is in the same place where Angela's grandmother passed away.
Now, down there, there is a bar, there it enters, and we are seeing what happens ten years after that moment.
Ten, I think, no, I think a few more years, if it is supposed that it happens around 1985, yes, we are in the 90s.
Well, the question is that Dr.
Manhattan sits in front of Angela, they have a conversation, and here we begin to see what I think will be, surely, the leading thread of today's chapter, which is the leap in time, the perception of itself, and I will entertain myself with all this in the final segment, which I dedicate precisely to a significant question that I think this time must be this.
Manhattan tells him that he knows that he is there commemorating the death of his parents, and Angela asks him, who told you about my parents?
He says, you, he says, I haven't done it.
And he says, you will do it in 20 minutes.
This already reminds us of that symmetry with the conversation that Manhattan has on Mars with Lori Blake, when he says, you won't get it, I will.
He says, well, if this conversation ends with you crying, because, of course, his perception of time is not linear as ours, but simultaneous, for the past, present and future, they are passing by, he can see them or experience them, as he says, at the same time, and he already knows what will happen next.
This will be very important later in the narration, that ability to receive information from the future from now on.
But hey, I won't get into this now.
But of course, it shows us the relevance that perception of the passage of time has for someone who doesn't perceive it in that way, in a linear way.
Here comes the phrase that I mentioned before, when Angela asks why Dr.
Manhattan wears a mask of Dr.
Manhattan, and he answers, so as not to be recognized.
Let's remember that the identity, hiding the identity, whether the authentic identity is the mask that one wears, is also one of the essential themes in all Watchmen.
In fact, with this game about the disguise, Angela herself asks Manhattan that if this is something like Zeus, while the blue Danube sounds again, a song that has to do with that color, or with that feeling, we will also hear about it later.
She asks him if this is something like Zeus, the father of all gods, is that to seduce some of the women he fell in love with, he adopted the most diverse forms, different phrases, from passing through a bull, or passing through a golden rain, which is where that paraphilia comes from, which is called golden rain.
Here we discover some interesting things, and it is that Dr.
Manhattan is not in Mars.
Let's remember that in the first chapter we had a small visual note about how Manhattan was in Mars, building a building identical to that mansion where Ozymandias is currently, which we will discover today why that mansion is so important.
And Manhattan says that no, that what is there is a kind of bot, we would call it today, it says it has to do with artificial intelligence, as a computer program, as a kind of recording that is intended to reproduce repetitive patterns that make it seem that there is someone like Dr.
Manhattan when it is not really.
In return, and here comes another revelation, he tells us that he has been in Europe, in Europe not the continent, but the moon of Jupiter.
Remember that I already mentioned that when we saw Adrian Bate leaving the bubble of the dome in which he was, many thought it was the moon, but hey, it was clearly seen that in the horizon there was a giant gas planet that is the most normal thing to think about, that it would be Jupiter, and by the size of the moon and by the characteristics and by the intuition that one has about these things, it was either Europe or Titan.
It could also be Iocalistus, but hey, it is assumed that Titan and Europe are the two Jovian moons.
Jovian has to do with Jupiter because in English Jupiter is also said Jobe with J.
Jobe as a figure of mythology.
We continue to turn to mythology.
And it is that these are the two most promising moons to be able to house life, not in the reality of Watchmen, but in ours.
And of course, that reference that has been in Europe already gives us the key to where Ozymandias is.
In fact, it tells us that it is at the same time in the bar in which the action is taking place, which we are seeing on the screen, and in Europe, which consolidates that capacity to house, where they can be in two spaces at the same time, but also in two times at the same time.
In fact, we see it create life.
By the way, Europe, if you have seen the chapter in the original version, you will have realized that in English it is not said Europe, but Europe, because it is a Latin word, the Europe of the moon, while the Europe of continents is written with an E at the end in English, and therefore it is pronounced Europe.
But that's why in English maybe some of you have sounded a little weird that they say Europe, because of this, because it is referring to the term, I have said Latin, but surely it is the original Greek term.
But hey, the point is that here there is a moment, a moment that will also have its reflection later, which is the ability of Manhattan, of Dr.
Manhattan, to detect humor, because when Manhattan realizes that he has created life in Europe, Angela asks him if he has also rested on the seventh day, and he says, no, no, it only took a couple of minutes.
And then he starts, typical, a man creates life in two minutes, and Manhattan recognizes and says, ah, it's a sex joke.
But he says it very seriously, okay?
Later we will discover that he has the ability to smile, and well, whoever did not expect it is precisely surprised by that sense of humor.
In fact, Manhattan, returning to the creation of life, says that Adam and Eve are fictional characters, but that he has created an Adam and an Eve, really, and we discover that they are the clones, I called them Ozymandias clones, the servants he has, who are identical, and we also saw how he took them out of a lagoon.
And it is true that, let's see, it seems that the technological means that Ozymandias has in that mansion are quite precarious, as we see when he creates that kind of astronaut suit.
So it seemed a bit complex that he was able to generate something as complicated as life and also clonics.
But hey, it could be, it could be a little steampunk too, but we see that no, that really what was behind it is that element, I don't know if to say magical, that behind that creation of that life who was really was Manhattan, and explains that precisely from the lagoon in which we saw how he was fishing clones or Ozymandias, is where he places the origin for that life that this doctor created.
It also explains to us that the mansion that is in that segment, in which we can say that it is a dome or something similar in Europe, that mansion teleports it to Manhattan because it is an important place for him, an important place for him from his childhood.
And here we discover that when he fled with his Nazi Germany father, he stayed in the United Kingdom in that mansion in which they welcomed immigrants, who were fleeing, well, refugees, rather, who were fleeing from that persecution.
In fact, Ostermann already gives us the indication that it is a Jewish surname and that that must be the reason why they were fleeing, because they feared for their lives.
He also tells us that his mother, Jon Ostermann's mother, stays in Germany because she had fallen in love with a Nazi soldier, who is there only with his father, and going through that mansion, he hides inside.

manjata ni angel has already been drinking a beer and has sat with her trying to get him to say yes to go out to dinner the following night and for this he is telling her everything all this film of this chapter she asks him that if he has friends and the doctor says that he has something that is more like a colleague and also as in a very casual way he says well once he tried to kill me and in fact of course he tried to undo the doctor manjata he tried to disintegrate the ones here that we can think that good colleagues in the end despite that once he tried to kill him well you have to take into account that still angel with whom he is talking is with someone who has a mask on of dr.
manjata he is trying to convince her that he is the doctor manjata but she still believes that simply someone disguised as dr.
manjata angela tells her that she hates dr.
manjata because as a result of this participation in the Vietnam war she would surely get some neighborhood full of anger and fury because vietnam lost the war he became the terrorist who ended his parents in a way he responsible manjata for the death of his parents and therefore hates dr.
manjata in fact there is a moment in which we already see that despite everything it does seem that he has convinced himself and the action is transferred here we are jumping forward and backward in time because I already say that it is surely the most paradigmatic episode in this case along with that episode in which we saw the continuous flashback in which angel revived the memories of her grandfather but here we see how she seems to have advanced the action to dr.
manjata that we have not yet seen the face we are always seeing it focused from behind something out of focus her hands but we have not yet seen her face and in fact it is supposed that you have already seen the episode I am not going to burst anything to manjata we do not see her face we see the face of lime that in the previous episode had ended with the head sunk to the hammer and angel is showing her in the corpses some as for him to choose who to look like so that he can substitute the identity because it is about corpses that some of them are not going to claim anyone and if he adopts the resemblance any of them is supposed to be safe he ends up taking out one of those refrigerator boxes the corpse of lime is the husband of angel and transforms into him he simply leaves the symbol on the front of the atom that identifies the doctor more jada and he erases it here is when this phrase comes that I think defines a little the spirit that lies behind all this chapter which is the I do not see the future I experiment because she is constantly asking her questions well and how do you know this and how do you know what is going to happen this and of course he can not give us the feeling that the future sees it but as he himself explains he experiences it and here it is true that before the changes this is an important point in the evolution of the relationship between angel and manjata of course if you can see the future or you can not experience it you lack fear because you know what is going to happen and in fact it is just what he asks when was the last time you were afraid and this is an essential phrase from the central point of both the watchman comic book and the watchman movie that also for me the best moment of the film that is when manhattan counts his life with a music that also makes all that even more shocking and it is the famous phrase the last time I was afraid was in 1959 in the research laboratories of the intrinsic field in gila flats in mexico that was as he told us when his body transformed and disintegrated was the last time he felt fear of course where is the fear remember that in previous episodes previously with watchmen I have told you that along with time and identity fear is the engine behind everything that we are seeing here the fear that the world disappears in the nuclear apocalypse the fear that is caused in the population so that it does not succumb to that nuclear panic and that fear must be generated through in the film a solution that I liked that was to blame manhattan but in the original comic and here in the series or in the comic there is no original comic in the comic and here in the series the fear is generated based on that interdimensional creature that has even taken place as we mentioned in previous episodes to that kind of fearful anonymous interdimensional group of self-help that is gathered because it is a fear that is inherited well in the meantime by the way while they are having this or when they finish having this conversation about fear about what manhattan lacks of fear and this makes the couple distance themselves and that she tells him to leave here a song begins to play whose good the first verse says our star watched lost all its brightness the day I lost you and the chorus says ask for mr.
blue and mr.
blue question for the blue man I am the blue man I told you before that today we would refer to blue not only as color but as a feeling and that in English the word blue in addition to color also designates melancholy and of course it is supposed that here a break-up of couple melancholy the pain for that lost would be not what the feeling that would abound in this in this moment after that cal march is transported is teleported to Antarctica the base where where is Ocimandias watching on television news in which they comment something about a melted reactor as we are in 2009 we are going to obviate that it is Chernobyl that was in 1986 and of course I think it is not Fukushima either but hey it could be any other nuclear accident in which a reactor has been melted in fact what appears on television reminds me more of the Taj Mahal but hey the thing is that Ocimandias complains to Adrian Bate saying that I have given them all solar energy wind energy wind energy wireless transmission as saying you have everything but despite that you continue to fail there is a conversation between Ocimandias and cal bar manhattan who by the way is seen almost in all its splendor in fact it is a splendor so splendid that we do not get to see where it ends and perhaps what here can surprise us more but closes us another of those loose threads or loose ends that some thought that lindell was going to be the one of the scriptwriter also scriptwriter of the series lost for example or of leftovers there are many people who in that series especially in the lost he has been able to leave loose ends and here we see the explanation to one of the loose ends that we have a few episodes there having it in the background that is the origin of the rain of chopitos and it is that he himself generates those chopitos in his Antarctic refuge and teleports them in a selective way so that they rain where he wants that that phenomenon that continues to keep the population terrified and well as he says that he does to maintain peace because of course obviously if you continue to keep alive that fear that another giant chopito may appear to the population you keep it fearful they do not face each other and continue to avoid that nuclear apocalypse that was really what what he was trying to avoid here is a small detail that I imagine will have its meaning that it will not be free bait tells manhattan that he knows that he was in europe and he asks him and how do you know that he was in europe answer an elephant told me to see what this is your home is more than the sum of its parts and creating a truly extraordinary space is about more than picking the perfect products that's why the experts at ferguson bath kitchen and lighting gallery are here to help you throughout the entire process to create a home that's as unique as you are bring your vision to us schedule your showroom consultation and see more from brands like dxv at build.com slash ferguson your home is more than the sum of its parts and creating a truly extraordinary space is about more than picking the perfect products that's why the experts at ferguson bath kitchen and lighting gallery are here to help you throughout the entire process to create a home that's as unique as you are bring your vision to us schedule your showroom consultation and see more from brands like monogram at build.com slash ferguson a funny phrase that is the same in English is that I do not know what here in Spain we say how you have found out that because I have done a little bird maybe there you say you have told me an elephant for what it is that as it has a very long trunk it can be approached the trunk towards you to tell you something I do not know but hey I think this may have to do with the elephant if not with that with some mystery some secret the elephants will have because remember that when angel was in the company of lady tree connected it is assumed that her grandfather was there to regain his own conscience and that the memories that passed through her Lechel to have alas but I do not know if it will have something to do with it nostalgia pills of his grandfather dissipated at the end of that cable what there was was an elephant it is the problem that they in the experience that everything and at the end of that cable what there was was an elephant that was lying there.
who was lying there to see the elephant has always been the animal that symbolizes memory Let's see, the elephant has always been the animal that symbolizes memory, not so much the But I don't know if here it will have something to do with the elephant with storing memories and with keeping knowledge, it could also be true that in the comic and that was also in the movie there were many flying elephants that were the advertising managers of the restaurant chain of fast food gunga dinner which is a tribute to a gunga din movie to a story if I remember correctly from rudyard kippling who is set in India where the elephants also have a lot of presence we do not know if this will have something to do with the good thing that there is a curious thing when when there is a small humorous reference and it surprises cimambias that humor makes sense but I also say another reference to imagination when at the beginning in the bar manhattan is telling angel to her well in reality she is telling the truth she tells her that you are a guy with a great imagination which here we see that it is quite the opposite the plan that cimambias proposes a little the explanation that he throws at manhattan is that you as you are someone without imagination I am the one who has to imagine these plans he says literally you lack imagination and it is curious that when she already tells manhattan what great imagination you have is precisely because she is telling the truth in short the question is that or cimambias beit has the idea that will allow dr manhattan to transform into human and of course when he translates that concept dr manhattan asks him clearly if the idea is very good but the ideas are free the ideas are free and carry them out in what it costs then from there when you can do it and what is it that will answer or cimambias that was with what started everything in this podcast and with what almost concludes everything both in the comic book and in the movie I did it 30 years ago to see it is assumed that it is the most clever guy in the world and these things he has to have thought in fact he explains that the fact of putting it through the intrinsic field to disintegrate it was plan b then he took out a box and said this is plan a of amnesia and he takes out this circle with the symbol of dr manhattan the little ring with the ball inside which is what we saw in the previous episode that extracted from the head after the hammering in ice to call and now that if before you go through this amnesia you have to talk to angela's grandfather eye stay with this data or cimambias is who puts manhattan on the track of angela's grandfather so that he talks to him eye with this leave it there apart the dr manhattan explains in the meantime that in europe he has created a good life he defines it as superior that he has stayed there that he is waiting for someone worthy of attention and care to arrive in europe that this life that he has created wants to provide whoever wants to get there with them and returning to the moment of the past in which the past with respect to the current narration in which angela and khal are together and this shows him the device this one that cimambias has created there is a brief moment in which we see his shadows the shadow of angela and the decal projected against the wall very in the style of the shadow of lovers which is also an occasional and recurring icon in the comic not so much in the film the film also appears in a couple of moments linked to lori blake and the nocturnal bow but but here we see that they are two who represent the individuals who project this font this iconographic shadow and well basically he places this ring that adrian bade has designed on the forehead and it is assumed that from there it will simply transform in cal and that it will cease to be the doctor majata but before all this flashback ends we will see that a revelation that seems very important to me and that it can have a lot of relief I do not know if in the next and last chapter or already in the second season and it is that the doctor majata explains that he can transfer his powers is able to create a substance that ingested that organic principle is assimilated by another person and that person acquires the powers of doctor majata very careful with this well here ends all the flashback we return to the moment in which we have stayed in the previous chapter with angela hitting him hammering to take out in the head and taking out that symbol ended with that there was a blue glow that reflected on angela's face and we could intuit that majata had returned and that cal was majata and that is precisely what we see that wakes up, rises, is still a bit disoriented, adopts the decal form, that is, the bad fact points to angela as saying you have stayed with his body instead of recovering the form which was and the original majata face that we have not seen at any time really explained that we have seen from behind the back the scourge his hands but we have not arrived to see the majata face for us majata will have the face of the doctor who interprets here and how you will surely remember around the house of angela were those of the seventh cavalry because I told him I had told him that they were going to go to charge manhattan that is to say we are in that situation in which while they are trying to get the day he says you are in tulsa you are in 2019 because he has left that lethargy outside there is a threat the first thing he does is take the children and tells him to take him with the grandfather, that is, the children are safe with his grandfather, although they do not know that it is good with the great-grandfather really with angela's grandfather and it is assumed that they are in the laboratory the base of villano film james bond of lady true we return to a moment in time ten years ago remember that I told you that you have to have that detail very present that ozimandia says manhattan that before he becomes amnesic that he talks to his grandfather with will rips manhattan is going to visit the one that was mansion of the captain metropolis in new york that has already died with which it is seen that where there was fire there were still embers and here we begin to see that the threat is even more important because while that conversation is taking place ten years ago between will rips and manhattan in the present manhattan and angela have to face the threat they have in their home around their home and the threat is small the seventh cavalry has a cannon of tachyons before which manhattan says they cannot do anything in fact sorry sorry the conversation remember that I also told you before the importance of that the past and the present or the future dialogue between them here the dialogue that we see is that as for manhattan the time passes simultaneously and not linearly at the same time in which he is with his wife with angela he walking on the waters of the pool and already on the edge he tells him that at that same time he is also experiencing the conversation with his grandfather there is also a moment that must be remembered and it is that at one point in today's episode with what you cannot experience fear if you know what is going to happen also explains manhattan that he will agree he will know what will happen later but by experiencing all the flow of time simultaneously at all moments he is also feeling the fear and disintegration that he suffered when he entered the camera of the intrinsic field imagine because we can say it is very cold it feels a lot of detachment because you are not going to be cold and detached and you are going to corner your feelings if you are constantly reliving that moment of absolute terror in which you are aware that something terrible is going to happen to you you cannot avoid it and also the own suffering that is supposed to be that the camera of the intrinsic field disintegrates you agree this conversation that was said between the past present and future angela asks manhattan to ask his grandfather how he knew that the chief of police the role played by don johnson was related to the cyclops and how he knew that he had a khukus klan suit in his closet and when manhattan as a kind of dialogue between the past and the present he transfers that question to will ribs this is not going to remember what the name of the police chief is we are going to imagine that don johnson is worth saying how you knew that don johnson was related to the cyclops and that he had in his closet a khukus klan suit and the answer from will ribs is who is don johnson and here is the terrible revelation and here we return to something that is the usual paradox in travel movies in time that you yourself are the cause that is the terrible revelation that angela has about her own behavior she has been the one who has initiated everything at this moment by transferring her to her grandfather ten years ago the suspicion about a specific individual that he did not know and that from there everything is triggered that is to say she has been the cause of everything by planting that idea this is also a bit of origin the film that is the one that plants that idea in someone who did not know that information and that from that information begins to investigate and also the trigger of all the action that we see here that is the murder of the police chief well the question is that we have left the seventh cavalry around the house a shooting began manhattan does not go to that angela she only and after that manhattan shooting that initially seemed passive as he said we can do nothing so he goes to the garden disintegrates the seventh cavalry saves angela but saves her and stays still while the cannon of taquiones disintegrates it eye with a red not blue flash I do not know if this also has some meaning and here is where we have the link in the disappearance of manhattan and I do not know I do not know if that disappearance of manhattan with that red cannon is a definitive disappearance but of course it would be if the first trick that manhattan learned was to reintegrate I think that resignation has to do not with that it disappears but with that something must happen in a situation in which it must disappear temporarily although then it reappears and attention because now comes the most unexpected moment the moment in which for the first time in watchmen there is a post-credit scene this that almost seemed to be the secret of the pyramid or of the movies of the Marvel Cinematographic universe has also reached watchmen a small note we are going to go in this post-credit scene with this post-credit sequence to the castle located in galas as it seems that it transferred manhattan to the moon of europe there is adrian bay adrian bay explained manhattan that he had created that life there and asked him if he wanted to go that we already know how he got there we have seen that they have judged him and the first thing we see is that he is being subjected to a kind of humiliating punishment in which the adan and the evas are giving him some tomatoes on the face while the question will remain a master and he says no we see him later in a cell adrian bay by the way reading once again the book fog dancing that is remembering a book of the same fictional author of the stories of the black ship and while the tearful requiem of mozart the guardian the man with a mask who was the only one who had a little subject to adrian bay he takes a good cake he asks him if he wants to change the book he is reading he says no that this is going from the loneliness that stays with that book and the question that adrian asks him is why the good in English is heaven here in Spain I do not know how it has been doubled and as heaven as paradise it could be we are going to leave it in heaven but it could be anyone because heaven is not enough and the answer from adrian bay is because heaven does not need me ozimandias wants to return to earth he after having realized that everything he did was not enough on earth that he has not been grateful because obviously it is not known that it was all an idea of his to save humanity in the way he does it he feels despised and of course before that promise of manhattan and he says well, let's go to that paradise on earth that you have created with the new life that you have created but he has realized that there he is left out and in fact we have seen a completely despotic behavior towards his adan and his evas in fact even causes a massacre and he expels them when he is taking out his fetuses from that lagoon he expels them in a really repugnant way he wants to return to earth because he wants to be useful and here is the final surprise if you remember the first time we see ozimandias adrian bay without knowing yet that it is him while they are giving him his birthday cake there is one of the following that presents a herringbone that he paints here and he says no no this I still do not need it that at the time of course we announced that this must be some programming failure in these clones or something like that now within that birthday cake that the guardian has taken away the crumb and inside is that herringbone and he gets very happy by the way he says that the cake has been made has a name that I do not remember but hey so that we can understand this cake has been made by eva that they are all eva ok if we had seen in the trial that the eva that she did as a prosecutor when she finished her charge she winked at him we said to this complicity sure that she obeys something we will discover here now we discover it that is to say once again we say linda love does not show that if you want it is able to tie the ends that were loose and it gets very happy it gets very happy with that herringbone and begins to scratch the ground with it it is just what it needed but what is it going to get we know that it has to do with the flight surely because that is a way a kind of tool to abandon that prison and be able to escape as it is simply a herringbone itself there is something more within that herringbone in the end it will be just to know for sure that we will discover it in the episode of the next week and now we go with what I think is the essential element of the episode this week which is the perception of time how the past and the future are intertwined as they dialogue between them we have seen throughout the whole series we have seen it in many chapters as time goes by for us as spectators in a linear way the same as for all the characters except for manhattan but so far although we had seen how the past influenced the present and that present could have consequences in the future that is to say we are going to understand the future as the events that occur in 2019 but in the linearity of the narration that is being shown to us that is normal what happened yesterday can have consequences today and what happened ten years ago because it can also have its consequences today but they are different consequences one is the echo of yesterday that highlights today and another because what happened in 85 what happened in 2009 and how it affects the current narration and then what we have in the current narration is that first a shot is hit then that person dies and then we investigate the murder in a more concrete time unit but it is that in this chapter not in this chapter we have been able to see how they directly dialogue between themselves two different times the most evident plasmation is in that kind of intertemporal interrogation in which the angel of 2019 asks the manhattan of 2019 to ask will rips of 2009 for something that really makes it the trigger for what has happened now in 2019 but a few days ago a few weeks ago I am not very clear how much time has passed since the events that we see in episode 1 and what we are seeing today begin but that relationship so complicated that you really have to stop a little and make yourself a little bit of the scheme to see where we are going is in this chapter where we have seen it captured in a way that surely is what the author of the story intends to transfer us in terms of discovering the way he has to perceive the time to experience Dr.
Manhattan has already told us that he does not see the future that he experiences the present the past and the future if it is true that with some shadows at some moments here we have the paradox that I mentioned before with that intertemporal dialogue the present is configured as a trigger of the past to transfer information to someone who lacked them to call it action and that action is the trigger of what has initiated the entire action of the watchmen series we can say that the watchmen series begins is not the first moment of episode 1 and remember that it is that movie that willribs is watching as a child in the movie in Tulsa but let's say that the great trigger of the action is not as much that as the murder of the police chief played by Don Johnson that is the fat trigger which makes the whole action begin to walk and that was the paradox and that was the terrible discovery that Angela made when she discovers that the result of her questions that are unanswered what she has done is to raise a call to action in someone from the past whose consequence has been the present that she is living and here we come we had seen it when they were in the conversation in the bar that I had told her that in Europe Dr.
Manhattan had created life to Angela and she said well, create life now and she does a kind of hand trick that surely for any pre-stirricitator it is quite easy that it is an empty hand to make an egg appear and she says well if you had done something a little more complicated more literally instead of the egg the hen would have appeared and here is when we reach the end the egg or the hen was before are those the words of dr.
Manhattan when they are talking about that consequent precedent that was before the one you asked or that the shadow of doubt was created in someone about something that as he did not have knowledge he could not doubt and this is the answer to dr.
Manhattan this I think is the summary that was before the two at the same time we insist Manhattan does not see the future experiments with simultaneous timelines and unfortunately this is what makes his perception of time completely different and almost incomprehensible for all those around him and even for us from here from our reality as spectators and unfortunately time is what has me too long in this and other episodes and I do not want to be longer than the chapter itself so with the uncertainty of how this season will end and almost anticipating the pain as if I was also able to experience the events of the future I start to say goodbye with a hangover for how well we are spending this series for how well I hope you are spending it like me commenting what is happening so it is time to say goodbye before midnight a greeting from Antonio Rentero and until next time you have listened to vigilantes a podcast by antonio rentero you have more information as well as the rest of the episodes between the two of them your home is more than the sum of its parts and creating a truly extraordinary space is about more than picking the perfect products that's why the experts at Ferguson bath kitchen and lighting gallery are here to help you throughout the entire process to create a home that's as unique as you are bring your vision to us schedule your showroom consultation and see more from brands like Jenn Air at build.com slash Ferguson
