Episode Transcript

[SPEAKER_18]: So, the thing that you think you're focusing on, you keep quitting to start something else, and you think it's the idea, and it's just a cycle.

[SPEAKER_18]: It's a cycle.

[SPEAKER_16]: We know that discipline is what we need.

[SPEAKER_16]: And yeah, even with that, even though everybody knows discipline is what we need, it can still be difficult for people to process.

[SPEAKER_11]: He said, whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it.

[SPEAKER_11]: Boldness has genius, power, magic in it.

[SPEAKER_10]: Begin it now.

[SPEAKER_10]: Well, two different pages, son.

[SPEAKER_10]: You just want to, you just want to read the word.

[SPEAKER_10]: You just want to freeze the word.

[SPEAKER_10]: I want you to become the word.

[SPEAKER_26]: Yeah, we can't control the world.

[SPEAKER_26]: We can have strong influence, but we can't control anything.

[SPEAKER_26]: And it is going to happen to you.

[SPEAKER_02]: And how you react to that is life.

[SPEAKER_02]: Ambition is when you expect yourself to close the gap between what you have and what you want.

[SPEAKER_02]: And titlement is when you expect others to close the gap between what you have and what you want.

[SPEAKER_17]: I don't want nothing from you but for you to lead us room and know what you want.

[SPEAKER_17]: Right, when we criticize ourselves, we think we're in control.

[SPEAKER_17]: We think we know everything.

[SPEAKER_17]: We think we're correcting ourselves.

[SPEAKER_17]: What we don't realize is what actually sabotaging ourselves.

[SPEAKER_07]: Everyone who's competent is desperate for competent people.

[SPEAKER_07]: And if you go and show yourself as competent, there'll be a trial period, but if you go show yourself as competent, all sorts of doors you didn't even know we're there, will start opening like mad.

[SPEAKER_02]: unless you purposefully inject novelty and this is one of the sort of ruthless double-edged swords to routine, which is a lot of the gains in life it to be made through being structured and routineised.

[SPEAKER_27]: When something appears to be like a short-term friend, it's usually a long-term enemy, like when you choose easy, today you choose hard tomorrow and [SPEAKER_27]: It's probably ways to trade off, right?

[SPEAKER_15]: You face your fears, you become the person you want to be.

[SPEAKER_15]: You run from your fears, you're not living, you're alive, but you're not thinking, the freedom, you're not running the day.

[SPEAKER_15]: Days running new, you always be the servant, not the master, guys.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's a tasteful goal for me to go towards what's something that resonates.

[SPEAKER_02]: How do I realize as I get closer to something that maybe the latter I was climbing was kind of leaning up against the wrong wall a little bit, so I'm just going to adjust it, and I'm going to keep climbing over here.

[SPEAKER_15]: Every transformation always gets worked before it's better.

[SPEAKER_15]: It's supposed to be that way.

[SPEAKER_15]: The journey you're embarking on here with NFT 28 is not easy path.

[SPEAKER_15]: It's not for the hell hard end of the week needs you.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's for the strong people.

[SPEAKER_04]: I promise you, if every single person ever watches this, you wake up and do a 20-minute walk in a morning in one after dinner, and you do it for seven days on the eight day, the world doesn't fall apart.

[SPEAKER_04]: It only gets better than more you do.

[SPEAKER_04]: Just well, people just don't want to put it in the working with this quick fix.

[SPEAKER_11]: If you're more powerful than your circumstances, or anything that you're going to experience right now, decide that you're going to commit yourself.

[SPEAKER_11]: to act on your ideas, to become happy, commit yourself to live your dream, commit yourself to become the architect of your future.

[SPEAKER_17]: So many of us are beating ourselves up for the past.

[SPEAKER_17]: So many of us are beating ourselves up to not having the future we thought we're going to build.

[SPEAKER_17]: What does that do?

[SPEAKER_17]: It makes the present lose time, money, energy, everything.

[SPEAKER_04]: We had lived my life now, my daily routine gives me the credibility.

[SPEAKER_04]: No matter who you are, you can doubt that same lifestyle.

[SPEAKER_04]: That same routine, you can grab it as a housewife.

[SPEAKER_04]: You can wake up early and go out and do a 20 minute walk every single morning before your kids wake up.

[SPEAKER_04]: You're just refusing to do it.

[SPEAKER_24]: It's kind of like investing.

[SPEAKER_24]: Like, everyone's afraid of losing money when they invest, but the only guaranteed investment that doesn't work is never invested to begin with.

[SPEAKER_24]: And so it's like, they take the long failure, rather than the short one.

[SPEAKER_24]: I mean, it's what it is, right?

[SPEAKER_24]: You just fail long.

[SPEAKER_17]: for giving yourself, makes you more focused.

[SPEAKER_17]: For giving yourself, allows you to move forward.

[SPEAKER_17]: Presenting yourself, holds you back.

[SPEAKER_17]: Criticizing yourself, de-motivates you.

[SPEAKER_13]: Fifth grade, my sister was going to high school and she was a good softball pitcher, and she would have to go work out in the gym in the morning.

[SPEAKER_13]: And here I am, fourth grade, I was like, I'm gonna get up and go to the gym with you.

[SPEAKER_13]: And it was just like, it wasn't even like, [SPEAKER_13]: I made a conscious decision, it was just like I felt the pull to do that.

[SPEAKER_19]: We all had these feelings in our bodies, in our minds, in our souls.

[SPEAKER_19]: I act online.

[SPEAKER_19]: A lot of us who are afraid of something, we have our minds to choose and path of these resistance, and we go a different route.

[SPEAKER_19]: Now, our afraid of something is telling me to be blessed.

[SPEAKER_19]: Through this hands.

[SPEAKER_19]: You must be here.

[SPEAKER_24]: If everybody who's like at the bottom and feels like they have nothing going for them, reframe that as I have nothing going for me, which also means that I have nothing to lose by taking action, it made you a much more dangerous person.

[SPEAKER_16]: It's harder for us to impose discipline on ourselves than it is for us to impose discipline on other people.

[SPEAKER_16]: In fact, people kind of enjoy the discipline of people.

[SPEAKER_16]: That's like a little, a little power-driven, right?

[SPEAKER_08]: Well, but it's kind of embarrassing as well that we can't guess of ourselves.

[SPEAKER_08]: You think the thing that I did that worked out for you best was I just stayed patient and I never [SPEAKER_08]: I never took the, you know, they dangled a carry in the front of the face, you know what I mean?

[SPEAKER_08]: And whatever thing is like, I never took the...

No, it was never something like that.

[SPEAKER_19]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_19]: Because when all those bad days, all those days you don't want to do something.

[SPEAKER_19]: You have to be your own motive, your own coach, your own trainer, your own everything.

[SPEAKER_19]: So to do that, you have to come into work, your work is, your work may be great to go.

[SPEAKER_11]: to all of the things that happen to you as an opportunity now you're taking it from a different perspective.

[SPEAKER_11]: Now you become an active force in your life.

[SPEAKER_11]: Now you are the one, rather than running from things as they begin to change, you become a change driver because you know that you've got the power within you to make the difference.

[SPEAKER_09]: Maybe it takes me a week to go with you.

[SPEAKER_09]: Now he finally realized it.

[SPEAKER_09]: Of course you are going to get perfection, but you got so much more out of it because you went from perfection to perfection.

[SPEAKER_09]: So, be pleased with Ram, because you got it.

[SPEAKER_09]: You got a good grade on it, man, that wore that was good.

[SPEAKER_15]: That piece of art was wouldn't have been that true.

[SPEAKER_15]: You show up in your chance if you don't show up the outcome soon.

[SPEAKER_15]: Never there, in all this, and if you shut the audition, there's a chance you might get the part.

[SPEAKER_15]: If you do scared to show up and you sit back at home, wondering what happened to your fans, no one in the hell is going to call you now, because you weren't present.

[SPEAKER_15]: The winners always show up.

[SPEAKER_15]: They're willing to lose in order to gain.

[SPEAKER_15]: No, you clearly.

[SPEAKER_14]: No, no, who are you talking to, so let me clear you in.

[SPEAKER_14]: I am not in danger, Scott.

[SPEAKER_14]: I am the danger.

[SPEAKER_14]: Like, I open this story and get shot.

[SPEAKER_14]: You think that of me?

[SPEAKER_14]: No.

[SPEAKER_14]: I am the one who knocks.

[SPEAKER_19]: The physical standard is not what they need to eat.

[SPEAKER_19]: It's a mental standard you must live in life.

[SPEAKER_19]: It's a woman back when I was sick.

[SPEAKER_19]: I was hitting the physical standards.

[SPEAKER_19]: I was admitting the Mitchell's death, the Mitchell's death is you must know how far you've come.

[SPEAKER_17]: Imagine a top tennis player keeps berating themselves after every missed shot.

[SPEAKER_17]: Instead of focusing, they actually are just beating themselves up about the last point.

[SPEAKER_17]: That self-criticism that they thought would motivate them actually destroys their rhythm.

[SPEAKER_18]: You don't start things in that function.

[SPEAKER_18]: You don't quit.

[SPEAKER_18]: There's nothing that comes out of quitting.

[SPEAKER_18]: Besides no one that you didn't finish.

[SPEAKER_18]: We finish everything.

[SPEAKER_18]: You start it, finish it.

[SPEAKER_18]: If you're gonna do it, do it to try and be the best.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, well, that's part of resilience, that's right.

[SPEAKER_07]: Like, you're not going to win it.

[SPEAKER_07]: You're not going to score on every shot.

[SPEAKER_07]: Right.

[SPEAKER_07]: Doesn't mean you shouldn't take the shots.

[SPEAKER_07]: Doesn't mean you shouldn't try to hit the goal.

[SPEAKER_07]: But part of being able to continue to take shots is to have the strength of character to tolerate the fact that that in that instance you weren't on top.

[SPEAKER_24]: Love, man, I'm afraid of doing this.

[SPEAKER_24]: And I'm like, no, I'm not.

[SPEAKER_24]: I'm afraid of what this person's going to think about me.

[SPEAKER_24]: Because if I were to be able to fail, [SPEAKER_24]: in quiet, in complete isolation, and I wouldn't care.

[SPEAKER_24]: And then I think, well, what if I don't succeed in public?

[SPEAKER_24]: What do they think then?

[SPEAKER_24]: Nothing.

[SPEAKER_24]: Right?

[SPEAKER_24]: They don't think about me at all.

[SPEAKER_27]: But you re-line yourself to you.

[SPEAKER_27]: Now, if you hadn't made that call, and you'd let a couple more of those bad habits, and you would've got to fall in, but like, here's this guy, right?

[SPEAKER_27]: Well, in this life, you would've looked around and said, who is she?

[SPEAKER_27]: Who are they?

[SPEAKER_27]: What is this job, right?

[SPEAKER_27]: And that's that course correction.

[SPEAKER_27]: But I think it requires you to do this little thing today.

[SPEAKER_23]: The reality of mankind, the reality of the world, and the reality of truth is that the most dangerous man in the room is never, ever, ever, the loudest man in the room.

[SPEAKER_23]: The loudest man in the room is the most insecure man in the room.

[SPEAKER_21]: Still waiting for a big smile out of you, you're up to, oh, what's the story?

[SPEAKER_21]: Are you not happy or you're on the half-happy year?

[SPEAKER_21]: I'm just going to be happy about it.

[SPEAKER_21]: You're up to, oh?

[SPEAKER_21]: Jobs are not finished.

[SPEAKER_16]: Jobs finish?

[SPEAKER_16]: I don't think so.

[SPEAKER_16]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_16]: It's a plan wins worse and not just the worse, the actual wars that are fat fought on the battlefield.

[SPEAKER_16]: But also the wars that are fought in your head every day.

[SPEAKER_16]: Discipline is required.

[SPEAKER_16]: in order to achieve victory, discipline is required in order to achieve.

[SPEAKER_26]: Sort of life lesson.

[SPEAKER_26]: The idea of what do you find easy to other people find difficult to?

[SPEAKER_26]: Go for that.

[SPEAKER_26]: Do that for a living.

[SPEAKER_26]: That's, this is going to be money there, this is going to be gold.

[SPEAKER_26]: You're going to be okay.

[SPEAKER_26]: If you find easy and everyone else is going, that's impossible.

[SPEAKER_26]: So you're standing up in front of people being funny.

[SPEAKER_26]: If I'm raising, like, these kind of conversations, I slightly, slightly second guess yourself.

[SPEAKER_26]: The idea of going, you can't have an easy life and a great character.

[SPEAKER_26]: You've got to kind of go out there and decide what you want.

[SPEAKER_26]: That's the first great adventure.

[SPEAKER_26]: And then getting it is the second great adventure.

[SPEAKER_26]: So sort of speaks to that thing of like wishing whilst work.

[SPEAKER_18]: You get there now by being a sponge and not being afraid to ask questions.

[SPEAKER_18]: I am very secure in myself and being the dummy handle.

[SPEAKER_18]: I am extremely secure and say, I don't know that means.

[SPEAKER_22]: As you ask most people what their number one fear is, what do you think it is?

[SPEAKER_22]: Most people's number one fear is public human.

[SPEAKER_15]: This body is great as you are.

[SPEAKER_15]: The shark has to make the arsenal.

[SPEAKER_15]: It can't do anything.

[SPEAKER_15]: If you don't have confidence in yourself, we all fall down in life.

[SPEAKER_15]: The question is who gets back up.

[SPEAKER_15]: You go after.

[SPEAKER_15]: You give it all you have.

[SPEAKER_15]: If you lose at least you try, man.

[SPEAKER_15]: I fail.

[SPEAKER_15]: It's ten times more demand than someone said what is.

[SPEAKER_15]: Because what is never went to the arena.

[SPEAKER_16]: Do what I say, not what I do.

[SPEAKER_16]: That's a thing where it's easy for me to impose discipline on you.

[SPEAKER_16]: You need to get up early.

[SPEAKER_16]: Echo, you need to work out.

[SPEAKER_16]: Echo, you need to not eat donuts.

[SPEAKER_16]: But I actually have a saying, which is do what I say.

[SPEAKER_16]: Not what I do, because I'm over here sleeping and not lifting and eating donuts.

[SPEAKER_25]: That gets me motivated to do that kind of stuff and track all my cardio and calories and everything.

[SPEAKER_25]: Because I know it's value, because I've done it and gotten the value from it.

[SPEAKER_25]: So I know that it actually is the trick.

[SPEAKER_25]: But if you've never done it, you don't have that proof, and it's always a wood-yiff.

[SPEAKER_25]: And that's everything.

[SPEAKER_25]: I honestly, that's the, [SPEAKER_25]: At least, state side, that's your kind of program to do that.

[SPEAKER_25]: Middle school, ice-cool, I didn't have to go to college to get this job to do this.

[SPEAKER_25]: Like, the idea of doing it getting into like a train or getting into, like, I think I have this awesome business idea that is the minority by far to branch off from this condition path and it's not like it's bad.

[SPEAKER_25]: But so many people might have been able to do so many awesome things if they could really do what they wanted to do.

[SPEAKER_25]: Instead of just, you know, following the beaten path.

[SPEAKER_05]: So sometimes you have to realize, I go, this is it.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's happening now, you know?

[SPEAKER_05]: And this this moment decides the longevity of this moment.

[SPEAKER_05]: So, some of some mornings you've got to wake up and feel like, yo, this is my thing, not anyone else, there's no contact me.

[SPEAKER_19]: I don't live on the surface of anything.

[SPEAKER_19]: Surface is what got me wrong, and it got me from a hundred seventy five pounds and three hundred pounds.

[SPEAKER_19]: Tell everybody I'm good I don't give it to him.

[SPEAKER_19]: I'm good.

[SPEAKER_19]: No, they're they're hollow words A lot of us speaking hollow words.

[SPEAKER_19]: I used to speak in hollow words.

[SPEAKER_19]: I don't do any more everything that comes on my test substance [SPEAKER_26]: Honestly, you pick what status game you play.

[SPEAKER_26]: You can have anything.

[SPEAKER_26]: You can't have everything.

[SPEAKER_26]: It's that thing of just that the words seem to be very important to me.

[SPEAKER_26]: The idea of saying, you can work for anything in life to a kid, as opposed to you can have anything.

[SPEAKER_26]: Is the difference between ambition and entitlement?

[SPEAKER_26]: You know, summed up.

[SPEAKER_17]: And he said, [SPEAKER_17]: That in his career, he has missed so many points.

[SPEAKER_17]: He has lost so many points.

[SPEAKER_17]: But he said the biggest skill he had is that he never focused on the last point he missed.

[SPEAKER_17]: He said, if I'm focused on the last point that I missed or if I'm focused on the future point that I might miss, I guess what?

[SPEAKER_17]: I miss the present show.

[SPEAKER_17]: I miss the present moment.

[SPEAKER_11]: I read a book by Dr.

Johnny Coleman that says, it works if you work it.

[SPEAKER_11]: And as you begin to look at your life, this side that you're gonna stop working on that dream, you're gonna work in nurture that I did.

[SPEAKER_11]: Now, there won't be people that will criticize you.

[SPEAKER_11]: There won't be people that won't see it for you.

[SPEAKER_11]: But I say to you, don't let them turn you around.

[SPEAKER_04]: I just want you to have accountability.

[SPEAKER_04]: I've accounted for all my failures, all my successes and everything else in between.

[SPEAKER_04]: And I'll show them exactly what happens when you do it wrong.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think that's what a lot of people like the most about it.

[SPEAKER_04]: I will tell you all my deepest arc of secrets, because you're gonna learn a lot more from those in your room.

[SPEAKER_04]: Climb in Everest.

[SPEAKER_04]: Right, everyone wants to see the picture at the top of the mountain.

[SPEAKER_04]: They don't want to hear about, you know, how many sherpas you lost on the way to the top.

[SPEAKER_04]: They don't want to hear about that.

[SPEAKER_07]: You got 205 minutes junks, and they repeat a lot of the repeat.

[SPEAKER_07]: So if you get every one of those right, they're trivial right who cares about my song tour looks like it's like it's like it's like it's fair enough, man, but that's your life.

[SPEAKER_07]: The things you repeat every day.

[SPEAKER_07]: The mundane things, I could get all those mundane things right.

[SPEAKER_07]: That's the game rules, like now the mundane isn't place.

[SPEAKER_07]: Now you can play, it's all the mundane's in place, and this is actually true.

[SPEAKER_01]: Champions do daily with everybody doing occasionally.

[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody else do.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.

[SPEAKER_01]: He just do a daily.

[SPEAKER_01]: You're not.

[SPEAKER_01]: Here we do.

[SPEAKER_01]: You're not extraordinary.

[SPEAKER_01]: You just do the ordinary extra.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's what makes you severation.

[SPEAKER_26]: What do I want being the fundamental goal?

[SPEAKER_26]: Like, you know what you want.

[SPEAKER_26]: That's incredibly powerful.

[SPEAKER_26]: Most people don't look.

[SPEAKER_26]: Most desires aren't magnetic desires.

[SPEAKER_26]: And you're getting to Rene Girard and the idea of going, while I want that watch, because he's got that watch, and I want that car, because he's got that car, and I'd love that girlfriend.

[SPEAKER_26]: It's like, how many guys are dating girls?

[SPEAKER_26]: Incredibly heart.

[SPEAKER_26]: They look amazing, very impressive.

[SPEAKER_26]: They don't even like the guy.

[SPEAKER_26]: It's like, it's weird.

[SPEAKER_19]: Flex yeah, I don't quit.

[SPEAKER_19]: You know, I may not make it the first time But I'll come back.

[SPEAKER_19]: I gotta I gotta I gotta get my head back in the game.

[SPEAKER_19]: I gotta I gotta figure this now It doesn't mean you leave it means you study it more [SPEAKER_17]: When the ego makes you believe you're the best, while you become complacent and fallable, when the ego makes you believe you're the worst, guess what, it doesn't help you grow.

[SPEAKER_17]: It's the honest introspection, the honest assessment that we all need.

[SPEAKER_17]: Hey, this won't go right into you, but you know what, I didn't really nail these three things.

[SPEAKER_17]: You're now not assessing it as you, you're assessing it as something you took part.

[SPEAKER_02]: The reason I think that cynicism is so popular on the internet is that the upside of never trying is never having to feel the pain of failure.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's fundamental.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's sour grapes at an existential level, right?

[SPEAKER_02]: It is a cynicism safety blanket.

[SPEAKER_02]: It is protecting you from ever having to feel the downside of anything.

[SPEAKER_02]: I will assure you my own failure in private so that I never have to face my failure in public.

[SPEAKER_15]: You take a picture of yourself and day one, you put it on the mirror.

[SPEAKER_15]: That's who I'll never be again, that's day one, say goodbye to him.

[SPEAKER_15]: Behind that picture, you write down your weight, your height, all your information, your body's there.

[SPEAKER_15]: Take measures around your arms, your waist to thigh.

[SPEAKER_15]: Record where you bend, because one of the struggle gets hard.

[SPEAKER_15]: And you feel like you're not going anywhere.

[SPEAKER_15]: You go back to that day one, we measure you.

[SPEAKER_15]: It's working.

[SPEAKER_15]: How about the apples, man?

[SPEAKER_15]: I'm on sale, all paths, I'm actually cheating something.

[SPEAKER_15]: It gives you confidence to continue to journey.

[SPEAKER_19]: We go left and we wonder why we haven't fulfilled something in our lives because we continue to take the journey that is mapped out and how I look at it is I talk in life like a lot of us left want to take the morning highway [SPEAKER_19]: There has roadmaps and all the stuff on the band tells you where to go gas stations.

[SPEAKER_19]: The next 10 miles up because you make Donald's a crackle barrel.

[SPEAKER_19]: It's the easy route.

[SPEAKER_19]: Very few of us want to go to the right side.

[SPEAKER_27]: They think that more doing more things is increasing the probability of success.

[SPEAKER_18]: What that was was to wear it into the opposite.

[SPEAKER_18]: It's the opposite.

[SPEAKER_18]: It's the thing that you actually thought of that you are going to put.

[SPEAKER_18]: 100% of your mind and focus into to complete.

[SPEAKER_18]: And then after that, you're able to pick it apart and take the good, the bad, or whatever, and either restart that thing again to improve it, or make a decision to do something else, but she finished.

[SPEAKER_20]: If you pan it down here, you see about three o'clock in the morning and there's not a car or a person inside.

[SPEAKER_20]: If you pan over here, it's the same thing and a car or a person inside.

[SPEAKER_19]: I didn't care if I died or lived, because I was the first time my life had been in that piece, because I reflected back when I started.

[SPEAKER_19]: So while I have come along with this right, and no one saved me, it went like someone came down here and gotting you through life when you figured this out on your own.

[SPEAKER_19]: The amount of pride and dignity is so respect you have.

[SPEAKER_19]: That's why I walk around the streets with the backpack and just like out in anything else.

[SPEAKER_18]: It's not hard to make money once you start making money you learn how to make money like you.

[SPEAKER_18]: It comes with education.

[SPEAKER_18]: It comes with understanding and it comes with a better [SPEAKER_18]: resource of mine that makes you go.

[SPEAKER_18]: Now, I'm gonna do this, and I'm gonna build this, and I'm gonna go here, I'm gonna meet, I'm gonna present, I have an idea, I'm gonna pitch it like you.

[SPEAKER_18]: You're now a, a much better machine if you understand.

[SPEAKER_07]: You can be the boss of your job.

[SPEAKER_07]: You know, if you're working in a grocery store, you're working in a convenience store, assuming you're not working for a terrified tyrants, you can be nice to the customers.

[SPEAKER_07]: You can develop your social skills.

[SPEAKER_07]: You can learn how to handle boss employee relationship.

[SPEAKER_07]: You can be there 15 minutes early and leave 15 minutes late, like you can learn in an entry-level job, man.

[SPEAKER_07]: And I'll tell you, if you take an entry-level job and you learn and it's a reasonably decent place, [SPEAKER_24]: seeking to gain approval and attention from others anyway.

[SPEAKER_24]: So it's like, listen, if you're insecure, which everybody is, let's be wrong.

[SPEAKER_24]: He might as well use the insecurity to get something out of it, right?

[SPEAKER_24]: Like one of my favorite things about entrepreneurship is like you switch you've got.

[SPEAKER_24]: And so a lot of people think that they need to fix their conditions in order to get like the perfect conditions before they start, but the perfect condition is whatever when you're in because it gives you whatever assets you have, that's the cards that you're dealt.

[SPEAKER_24]: And so it's just play the hand.

[SPEAKER_24]: And a lot of people have great cards.

[SPEAKER_24]: It's like, man, I'm so afraid of it, it's like use it.

[SPEAKER_24]: It's like, I have nothing.

[SPEAKER_24]: It makes you very dangerous because you have nothing to lose.

[SPEAKER_19]: The purpose is you.

[SPEAKER_19]: We forget that every day I wake up, and I don't want to do something.

[SPEAKER_19]: I'm like, okay, man, do you want to be a bit day?

[SPEAKER_19]: Do you want to feel like a little, do you want to walk around all day knowing that you could, but you didn't?

[SPEAKER_19]: I'm constantly reminding myself of go back to your roots.

[SPEAKER_19]: Now, my saying go back to hell.

[SPEAKER_19]: I'm saying don't forget when you come from as you start to explode out of the gate when you become someone, my conversation is do not forget your roots, do not forget your roots, don't let this become so big that you lose yourself amongst the noise, go back to the quietness of what made you successful, that's the conversation now, it's a matter of time, it's a matter of time, [SPEAKER_09]: Humility is admitting we have mortal learned.

[SPEAKER_09]: And I was like, oh, whoa, I'm in.

[SPEAKER_09]: I can get a bullet with it.

[SPEAKER_09]: Let me sign up because before that, humility to be humbled, you humiliated.

[SPEAKER_09]: My shoulders would sink.

[SPEAKER_09]: I would be small and passive.

[SPEAKER_09]: It wouldn't speak up, or there's the opportunity to have that, but I miss it.

[SPEAKER_09]: And I'm like, man, I don't think that's what it means.

[SPEAKER_09]: But I don't know how to get around it.

[SPEAKER_02]: And funny how we meet the definition of words to change a little bit.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like that.

[SPEAKER_24]: Next time I call you directly, you'll pick up the phone.

[SPEAKER_09]: Logo.

[SPEAKER_09]: Let me give you the ABCs of me.

[SPEAKER_09]: I don't take meetings.

[SPEAKER_09]: I set them.

[SPEAKER_09]: And my respect isn't demanded.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's earned.

[SPEAKER_07]: Pick something and fix it.

[SPEAKER_14]: Something that bugs you.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_07]: But not too much.

[SPEAKER_07]: So the rule is, [SPEAKER_07]: pick a solution to it that you know would help, that you could do, that you would do.

[SPEAKER_07]: So you have to negotiate with yourself.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's like, well, I won't clean up this room.

[SPEAKER_07]: How do you know?

[SPEAKER_07]: I've been in here for 10 years and I've never cleaned it up.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's like, well, obviously, that's too big a dragon for you.

[SPEAKER_07]: Would you clean one drawer?

[SPEAKER_07]: Find out.

[SPEAKER_11]: decide that when things become challenging and they are that you're not going to personalize it that you're going to look at it and you do whatever you must do in order to work things out and learn from it.

[SPEAKER_11]: Learn from it.

[SPEAKER_11]: That's to key.

[SPEAKER_11]: I like what Charles did all said.

[SPEAKER_11]: He says in a life you will always be faced with a series of God ordained opportunities.

[SPEAKER_11]: Brilliantly disguised as problems and challenges.

[SPEAKER_11]: If you've lost your job, don't say that I've been laid off to say I've been given an opportunity by the universe to find my life worth.

[SPEAKER_00]: When I first came to me, everybody was on magic and enjoyed it involved.

[SPEAKER_00]: Man, Mark Hamlet, then it's going to be my late one day, so I just remember and then come from where people want you to feel when I think of it when I fell on the top, I can't feel, I can't, I can't, I can't make you right.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, I want him a little bit.

[SPEAKER_00]: The one I spoke, didn't learn the language, it wasn't learning the language, it was just traveling the person.

[SPEAKER_00]: I said, it was really good the glory, I wanted the glory, I wanted the glory, I had to feel the words out the word of the word.

[SPEAKER_02]: And that's a preparedness to accept no matter how good I get at this thing.

[SPEAKER_02]: I will always have to do boring shit.

[SPEAKER_02]: And that's not a bug, it's a feature.

[SPEAKER_02]: And not only is it a feature, it's a source of competitive advantage, because as things get more, [SPEAKER_02]: Celubrius, as you raise up through the ranks.

[SPEAKER_02]: Other people will have the same thought that you do, which is I shouldn't need to do this thing.

[SPEAKER_02]: You go, okay, so if you can continue to lean into the stuff that you did at the start, at the end, that's why the competitive advantage lies.

[SPEAKER_02]: I do.

[SPEAKER_19]: If you believe it, if you really believe that you could be something, if you had that little voice in your head saying, hey, you got talent, you could do this.

[SPEAKER_19]: and follow them for us.

[SPEAKER_25]: So if you get obsessed with the idea of something, to actually approach with that real thing is, now your idea of it is actually going to become a real understanding of it, and you realize like, and I think there's guys where they've gone pro, like they've really got into it, they were 100% serious.

[SPEAKER_25]: And then they realize this isn't for me.

[SPEAKER_25]: I'm gonna not, like, back pedal isn't the right word.

[SPEAKER_25]: I'm gonna just redirect towards something which I actually value now.

[SPEAKER_25]: And if at any point that would happen, then that's what I would do.

[SPEAKER_11]: Nobody believes in you.

[SPEAKER_11]: You've lost to get it again and again, the lights are cut off, but you're still looking at your dream reviewing it every day and saying to yourself, it's not over until I win.

[SPEAKER_15]: And you guys find a fear that fear will either create you or destroy you.

[SPEAKER_15]: I love fear.

[SPEAKER_15]: And with why, behind every fear is a person you want to be.

[SPEAKER_15]: Fear is self-imposed, meaning it doesn't exist.

[SPEAKER_15]: You create it, you can destroy it too.

[SPEAKER_15]: It's an intangible.

[SPEAKER_15]: If you face your fears, guys, you'll realize it's not that big.

[SPEAKER_15]: And once you face it, you're like, my God, it has been all this time running from it.

[SPEAKER_15]: You're so small.

[SPEAKER_15]: If I just faced it, my God, not only did I face that be the back, [SPEAKER_15]: Energy's never lost, transfer, but negative energy in fear.

[SPEAKER_15]: It's a story that comes back in its confidence.

[SPEAKER_15]: Well, it's my cable wall.

[SPEAKER_09]: You're going to end up doing something of an inability for plus you.

[SPEAKER_09]: You come really good at it.

[SPEAKER_09]: You learn the craft and the world demands it.

[SPEAKER_09]: You can spy it.

[SPEAKER_09]: There you go.

[SPEAKER_09]: spy.

[SPEAKER_09]: We don't always.

[SPEAKER_09]: Some of us have a natability, but we're not really going to work for it.

[SPEAKER_09]: We don't prove our skills.

[SPEAKER_09]: We've kind of allowed what we got.

[SPEAKER_09]: They kind of become middle of killing it.

[SPEAKER_09]: And times, on the ability to work, I'm going to learn a new craft.

[SPEAKER_09]: And I'm going to hustle at it.

[SPEAKER_09]: And I actually become a meat geek, good at something.

[SPEAKER_09]: We thought I could start to go home.

[SPEAKER_09]: I didn't know I loved it.

[SPEAKER_09]: I didn't like this.

[SPEAKER_09]: And I like it now.

[SPEAKER_16]: It starts to feel good to do over and over.

[SPEAKER_16]: When your excuses make you feel a little bit better, [SPEAKER_16]: about the fact that you didn't execute on what you needed to execute on.

[SPEAKER_16]: Then they can make you feel better, but they're not helping you.

[SPEAKER_13]: They're not helping you at all.

[SPEAKER_13]: If it's not going your way, go somewhere else.

[SPEAKER_13]: And I'm like, it's not really, that's not the path to success.

[SPEAKER_13]: Cause like, you're going up against a tough team and NBA, if I'm you can't go around that team, you gotta go through them.

[SPEAKER_13]: But like, if you've gone around your whole life, looking for something easy, and now all of a sudden you gotta go through, you don't even know what to do, you can't even develop that.

[SPEAKER_13]: Resilience, that perseverance within yourself.

[SPEAKER_13]: That aspect of it, go through it.

[SPEAKER_13]: You know, challenge yourself, and then fail, try it.

[SPEAKER_13]: That's hard, like, go outside of your comfort zone, try things that you know you're not going to be good at, put the time and effort to be better at it, and then see yourself improve.

[SPEAKER_13]: So you gain this sense of self-confidence within yourself.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's an amazing thing about that.

[SPEAKER_06]: If you love something, you need to have a strong passion to send it.

[SPEAKER_06]: You would go to the extreme.

[SPEAKER_06]: to try to understand, we'll try to get it.

[SPEAKER_09]: Now, the shoot for an aim, make a scene, it's rather better than shooting for a scene, make it an action.

[SPEAKER_09]: Now, to go for perfection, reality always comes in under it.

[SPEAKER_09]: But in that moment, when you see the inevitable reality of the outcome, the result, how quickly can we go?

[SPEAKER_09]: OK, but I got so much more out of it.

[SPEAKER_09]: Job, the person myself, because I went for for perfection.

[SPEAKER_09]: Then if I did just gone for it.

[SPEAKER_09]: Why don't you just give me, you know, just pass class.

[SPEAKER_03]: I woke up.

[SPEAKER_03]: Everybody else is f***ing because I woke up.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's how I looked at it.

[SPEAKER_03]: You all had a chance, until I woke up.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's a day's mind.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's just what it is.

[SPEAKER_03]: We have no, and I do not great you really are.

[SPEAKER_19]: Because you are using such minimal, minimal of what you have.

[SPEAKER_19]: And if people can learn to focus, [SPEAKER_02]: What's the difference between the guys who are elite and the guys that are world champions?

[SPEAKER_02]: And he said it's the world champions that are prepared to do the most boring work with the least amount of complaining.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I was really like that idea because [SPEAKER_02]: especially as things become more successful.

[SPEAKER_02]: And this is like a really unpopular talking point on the internet because everybody wants to hear the zero to one, not the 50 to 55 or 80 to 85 on 95 to 96.

[SPEAKER_02]: They don't want to hear about the top end stuff because it doesn't sound, it sounds more exclusionary, right?

[SPEAKER_02]: Because by definition, most people are on the come up as opposed to close to the top.

[SPEAKER_02]: But I think it's important to give people an idea of what are the pitfalls that are coming up for you.

[SPEAKER_25]: Like, actually, the bigger I've gotten, the more I've started to be content with the size I already am.

[SPEAKER_25]: Where I used to imagine 300 pound, same-soulic.

[SPEAKER_25]: Like, yeah, let's take it to 300, that was so to be.

[SPEAKER_25]: But it's something where when you actually...

[SPEAKER_25]: get to a different position, just over time and like through progress, you're going to have a different perception of like what you actually want.

[SPEAKER_25]: Because even though you may have reached that level from having a certain goal, now you're a completely different person with different circumstances.

[SPEAKER_25]: And as good as that goal may have been to motivate you in the beginning, sometimes that can change.

[SPEAKER_25]: And it's not giving up.

[SPEAKER_25]: It's just, you've gotten the better perspective, and now you know more to make a better decision.

[SPEAKER_18]: My whole book is about you battling yourself.

[SPEAKER_18]: Puedo, I'm staying with you, begin to you.

[SPEAKER_18]: The only person that gets in your way is you.

[SPEAKER_18]: Nobody else is you.

[SPEAKER_18]: I mean, the value it was to self, but the value of self and understanding of how to truly control and operate that, and navigate that correctly.

[SPEAKER_18]: That's a, that's a world of its own.

[SPEAKER_18]: The bigger that the star gets, the brighter that the star shines.

[SPEAKER_18]: If you are paying attention, it's only positioning you to go and place what people say, oh my God, I know you.

[SPEAKER_18]: And when you can shake your hand, but the interests of just knowing you because of the place from the star, it allows a moment for the conversation of.

[SPEAKER_18]: So what is that you do?

[SPEAKER_11]: Yes, that's until one is committed.

[SPEAKER_11]: There is hesitancy.

[SPEAKER_11]: The chance to draw back always in effectiveness.

[SPEAKER_11]: And tell you are willing to jump out there.

[SPEAKER_11]: Somebody asked me, how do I do that?

[SPEAKER_11]: I said no, no, no, no.

[SPEAKER_11]: You don't need any answers now.

[SPEAKER_11]: You need to make the commitment.

[SPEAKER_11]: Once you make a commitment, then life will give you some answers.

[SPEAKER_11]: You can't decide.

[SPEAKER_11]: Let's go sit on the side of the corner, stick your toe in.

[SPEAKER_11]: You've got to be willing to make the lead.

[SPEAKER_11]: Most people don't want to do that.

[SPEAKER_11]: Everyone sit on the side and say, [SPEAKER_11]: isn't rough out there, come on out and see.

[SPEAKER_11]: You know, you want to decide to commit that commitment because then that's when you begin become involved in the learning process.

[SPEAKER_11]: He said concerning all acts of initiative and creation.

[SPEAKER_11]: There's one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plants that the moment one commits oneself, then Providence moves to all sorts of things occur to help one that would never have otherwise occur.

[SPEAKER_17]: Encourage yourself when no one else is clopping.

[SPEAKER_17]: Validate yourself when no one else is noticing.

[SPEAKER_17]: Challenge yourself when no one else is pushing, forgive yourself when no one else understands, believe in yourself before anyone else does, push yourself without punishing yourself.

[SPEAKER_17]: Because if you don't do it, you'll always be waiting for someone else.

[SPEAKER_17]: Strong people did the difficult thing when no one was watching, [SPEAKER_17]: strong people did the challenging thing and known as copying strong people did the hardest thing and it was just in the driver to the hard thing, to the right thing and no one's there to notice and you'll be able to do it brilliantly when they're all watching on the side
