[SPEAKER_14]: rich people don't sleep eight hours a day.
[SPEAKER_14]: That's a third of your life.
[SPEAKER_14]: It ain't even 24 hours in the day.
[SPEAKER_14]: You cannot be sleep eight hours a day.
[SPEAKER_14]: You can't live in that late and wake up and ate a clock in the morning.
[SPEAKER_14]: It's 11 o'clock on the East Coast.
[SPEAKER_14]: The stock market been open two hours.
[SPEAKER_14]: They already make a decision about your life and your ass was sleeping.
[SPEAKER_09]: Lazy people do a little work and think they should be winning But winners work as hard as possible and still worry if you're being lazy I have never met anybody who became incredibly successful in any area of their life Until they have suffered and sweat it and sacrifice and kept their focus And flop two tears and trials and tests and if you have a dream and you commit to it [SPEAKER_08]: Get back to work.
[SPEAKER_08]: It's time to get back to work.
[SPEAKER_08]: Stop hearing yourself talk, get off the podcast, don't be on social media too much, cut out all the noise, get back to the mental lab because that's where the knowledge came from.
[SPEAKER_04]: Everyone does a few reps when it burns starts and they stop.
[SPEAKER_04]: No one goes to the extra mile and keeps going.
[SPEAKER_04]: Like, no one's in here right now.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, like is this Saturday evening and it was a lot of party, no one's in here, just me.
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, no one goes to the extra mile.
[SPEAKER_04]: The thing about traffic jams, guys, there are no traffic jams in the last mile of the race.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's just you and your shadow.
[SPEAKER_04]: In the beginning, everybody's there.
[SPEAKER_04]: All the pretenders and the contenders, throw there.
[SPEAKER_04]: But the last yard of life, the last mile of journey.
[SPEAKER_04]: Hey nobody but you in the shadow.
[SPEAKER_04]: Traffic jam so exists that far.
[SPEAKER_00]: You really can solve a lot of male problems by getting in shape and making money.
[SPEAKER_00]: You still have problems.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're just smaller and you have more resources to handle them.
[SPEAKER_00]: The world is there for the taking for anyone who can learn from them mistakes.
[SPEAKER_00]: Do what they say they were going to do and stick with it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Even if it's not sexy.
[SPEAKER_00]: What used to make them unacceptable now makes you extraordinary.
[SPEAKER_00]: The bar for winning has never been so low.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, this beautiful quote in a red, rest at the end, not in the middle.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I took that to heart.
[SPEAKER_06]: I believe there's time for resting at the end, but for me, that time is not now.
[SPEAKER_07]: Shh.
[SPEAKER_07]: Just get started.
[SPEAKER_07]: Just get started.
[SPEAKER_07]: The longest time in the world is the hesitation between fought and action.
[SPEAKER_07]: One second can actually become an eternity.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's how much you can flex.
[SPEAKER_07]: You can hesitate for one second to get started on something.
[SPEAKER_07]: I'll work out a project, a task, something that you know you should do.
[SPEAKER_07]: You can hesitate for one second, that one second of hesitation also in terms of five seconds and in ten seconds and in ten minutes.
[SPEAKER_07]: And in just like that, you drifted into the eternity zone.
[SPEAKER_07]: One second became an eternity because something that was going to happen is now never going to happen, ever.
[SPEAKER_07]: Why is that?
[SPEAKER_07]: Because you hesitated.
[SPEAKER_07]: You hesitated.
[SPEAKER_07]: So don't take that chance instead, take action.
[SPEAKER_07]: Take action, a body in motion, tense to stay in motion, a body at rest, tense to stay at rest.
[SPEAKER_07]: You've had enough damn rest.
[SPEAKER_07]: Go take action.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's what's painful.
[SPEAKER_02]: Is that it takes more effort to start in the beginning and more people are right about the fact they're like, hey, you're not gonna hit it big and guess what, a month in?
[SPEAKER_02]: You're not.
[SPEAKER_02]: But they're only measuring on months and at six months you're also not gonna hit it big, yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: And they're gonna be like, I'm still, right?
[SPEAKER_02]: And at a year, you're still not gonna hit it big and they'll still be, right?
[SPEAKER_02]: And every day that you haven't hit it, they're gonna feel like they were right.
[SPEAKER_02]: But they're wrong because they're measuring in days and you're measuring in decades.
[SPEAKER_08]: I became obsessed.
[SPEAKER_08]: with being the baddest month that got ever created.
[SPEAKER_08]: In my bad, I don't care, I believe it.
[SPEAKER_08]: And I was trying to tell them, once you become obsessed with something, obsessed, it's okay to be unbalanced for a while.
[SPEAKER_08]: It's okay, don't be all this stuff you would say.
[SPEAKER_08]: You gotta be balanced to be the best in the world.
[SPEAKER_08]: At what should you do?
[SPEAKER_08]: It's not gonna be the Navy SEAL people.
[SPEAKER_08]: The best at what you do, you have to be unbalanced to find every bit [SPEAKER_08]: energy and strength that you have to pull it off.
[SPEAKER_08]: Then you get balanced once you become great.
[SPEAKER_08]: And then you have other people, become better from you being the best in the world.
[SPEAKER_08]: So if your family doesn't understand, why are you so dead on crazy?
[SPEAKER_08]: Because I'm trying to be the best I can to give you the best that I am.
[SPEAKER_08]: And it takes beef obsessed to where people think you're crazy.
[SPEAKER_10]: Are you addicted to winning?
[SPEAKER_10]: Yes, I am.
[SPEAKER_10]: I'm addicted to the success.
[SPEAKER_10]: It's part of my sacrifice, my obsession to win, to have success.
[SPEAKER_10]: Talent is not enough.
[SPEAKER_10]: I did it to keep myself so much that this is part of me.
[SPEAKER_10]: Records is part of me.
[SPEAKER_10]: I don't follow the records.
[SPEAKER_10]: The records follow me.
[SPEAKER_05]: It's just a matter of what's important to you, you're what's important to you, for whatever reason, you're not like, I don't feel great about myself, if I wasn't doing everything I could to be the best version of myself, if I thought like I left anything on a table, it would be the way I had me, I wouldn't be able to look myself in the mirror, [SPEAKER_05]: Right, so it was a lot can be tiring now and be completely comfortable about it because I know that I've done everything I could to be the best basketball player I could be.
[SPEAKER_05]: And so that's what comes from me.
[SPEAKER_05]: You can't leave any stone on turn.
[SPEAKER_02]: Most people are overweight, they're distracted, they're poor, they have so few skills because it has never been easier to start a business, to make money, to get in shape.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's just also never been easier to do nothing.
[SPEAKER_02]: And so, in a world where it's never been easier to do nothing, doing something becomes extraordinary.
[SPEAKER_07]: If you tell yourself the truth and the truth is, I'm not happy with where I'm at.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's the truth.
[SPEAKER_07]: The truth is, I can do more.
[SPEAKER_07]: The truth is, I can't be in better shape.
[SPEAKER_07]: The truth is, I can't work harder than I'm working right now.
[SPEAKER_07]: The truth is, I can't do more for my family.
[SPEAKER_07]: The truth is, I can do much better than I'm doing right now, and if that's the real truth, if that's what you believe, if you believe that to be the truth, you won't have to find more discipline, discipline will find you.
[SPEAKER_08]: The biggest thing you have to do is shut off technology.
[SPEAKER_08]: You have to go dark, remember my bad is you have to be quiet in your mind, get away from people, we love being around people, we love talking, we love parties, we love all that, it's okay to be alone, it's also okay to be unhappy, it's okay to be unhappy sometimes man, it's okay to see no matter what I'm up, she's able to choose first, who are you?
[SPEAKER_08]: Get really accountable, and say, okay, who am I?
[SPEAKER_08]: What's the truth about me?
[SPEAKER_08]: Get to that dark place in your mind, figure out.
[SPEAKER_08]: It may take months, it may take years.
[SPEAKER_08]: Figure out your purpose.
[SPEAKER_08]: Figure out what you want to be in life.
[SPEAKER_08]: And then from there, okay, I have my purpose.
[SPEAKER_08]: It may take a long time.
[SPEAKER_08]: More knows your purpose, because it's too loud.
[SPEAKER_08]: Find your purpose from there.
[SPEAKER_08]: All right, you got to our planet.
[SPEAKER_08]: People love the planning phase, because it's very comfortable.
[SPEAKER_08]: And then from the planning phase, you go to execution.
[SPEAKER_08]: So the execution phase will be all hate, because that's where the real world begins.
[SPEAKER_08]: And that's where the failure happens, and the failure, and the failure.
[SPEAKER_08]: But that's kind of how you have to do it.
[SPEAKER_16]: I don't know how to start improving my life.
[SPEAKER_16]: Someone might say that.
[SPEAKER_16]: And I would say, well, you know what, amen low enough.
[SPEAKER_16]: There's something you could do [SPEAKER_16]: that you could do, that you would do, that would result in an actual improvement, but it's not a big enough improvement for you, so you won't lower yourself enough to take the opportunity.
[SPEAKER_13]: Incremental stuff.
[SPEAKER_16]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_16]: Scary.
[SPEAKER_08]: To make it every day and say, I'm stupid, I want to figure out a way to be smarter.
[SPEAKER_08]: Where's the same, man?
[SPEAKER_08]: I just can't do that, so you limit this box.
[SPEAKER_08]: So your box becomes so small of things you can do.
[SPEAKER_08]: My box, when you're in the box, [SPEAKER_08]: It was a little like, little pinhole.
[SPEAKER_08]: And, to examine myself, getting some real power, some courage, it became bigger in this table.
[SPEAKER_08]: But that's what we all do.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's why I wanted to come here today and talk to you about rules.
[SPEAKER_08]: Not know, like, hacks?
[SPEAKER_08]: There's no hacks, no?
[SPEAKER_08]: It's you, it gets you.
[SPEAKER_08]: You get you.
[SPEAKER_07]: And if you misunderstand that, even real problem.
[SPEAKER_07]: Since some rules, on the amount of time [SPEAKER_07]: What rules on that?
[SPEAKER_07]: Otherwise, that screen is going to rule you.
[SPEAKER_07]: What rules play?
[SPEAKER_07]: Eat, clean!
[SPEAKER_07]: What are you doing?
[SPEAKER_07]: What's the rules around what you're putting into your body?
[SPEAKER_07]: Who put rules in place?
[SPEAKER_07]: If you're just doing whatever, you're going to have problems.
[SPEAKER_07]: The food is going to rule you.
[SPEAKER_07]: Go to bed on time.
[SPEAKER_07]: Go to sleep.
[SPEAKER_07]: And if you follow these rules that you make for yourself, you're gonna have less things in life really new.
[SPEAKER_07]: You know when you work hard enough, eventually you don't have a boss anymore, you're your own boss.
[SPEAKER_06]: We're not on a stage just because of talent or ability.
[SPEAKER_06]: We're up here because of 4am, we're up here because of 2am or 5am.
[SPEAKER_06]: We're up here because we had a dream and let nothing stand in our way.
[SPEAKER_06]: If anything tried to bring us down, we used it to make us stronger.
[SPEAKER_06]: We were never satisfied, never finished, we'll never be retired.
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, the come to day man, everyone's gonna have this day.
[SPEAKER_04]: A come to day where being average, being mediocre, is just sickening to you.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's just sickening, it makes you want to throw up, because you've seen people with far less health than you, as you're growing up with them, they're childhood boys, whatever else.
[SPEAKER_04]: They didn't have what you had, yet now they're gonna become something that you haven't.
[SPEAKER_04]: It comes at day, it's either when you're young, you know, and it strikes you in the baseball field, because you're sick of striking out.
[SPEAKER_04]: Or it's when you get fired from your fifth job, you know, when your wife and kids run your ass, because you don't have to support anyone.
[SPEAKER_04]: It comes off day, we'll push, comes a shelf.
[SPEAKER_04]: Rebeen me or you can be in like average and just...
[SPEAKER_04]: burns and sucks so much.
[SPEAKER_04]: You can't deal the one more day and you get off your mask and you create something that's always been there.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's always been inside of you trying to come out, but you've never wanted to unrap it because there's too much pain and commitment.
[SPEAKER_04]: We're scared you're gonna fail, you're scared if you started, you didn't want to tell you about, you knew it was there, but you never wanted to embark on it until something hits.
[SPEAKER_04]: You get fire or somebody else gets success, remind you what you could have been.
[SPEAKER_04]: And then the fucking spark is born.
[SPEAKER_04]: And no matter what happens, I'll never gonna be in this boat again.
[SPEAKER_04]: And you get off and you don't even get snuck in, you're tick on, you're a wild man.
[SPEAKER_04]: And life has never been so sweet.
[SPEAKER_04]: That could happen at early age, it could happen at later age.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's going to happen to somebody, you know, who might what's going to happen to you?
[SPEAKER_04]: And when it does happen to you, think you work these stars that finally you're alive.
[SPEAKER_08]: If all you guys are going left is that one person who say no one left is not the right way.
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm gonna go right.
[SPEAKER_08]: Who didn't fall the crowd?
[SPEAKER_08]: That person is not afraid of doing what they believe is right in their heart and not falling someone else because someone else said let's go this way and they agree with everybody.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't like yes men or yes women.
[SPEAKER_08]: If you're right you're right.
[SPEAKER_08]: We're gonna follow you.
[SPEAKER_08]: By the way, people who stand for something, they believe in something and this is the way I'm gonna go whether you like me or not.
[SPEAKER_01]: Knowledge and experience in wisdom takes time.
[SPEAKER_01]: Wisdom comes from experience and experience takes time.
[SPEAKER_01]: The more experience you have, the more you learn from that experience, the wiser you can get.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you haven't lived long enough to have a broad enough portfolio of experience, then you can expect to have [SPEAKER_01]: knowledge and wisdom.
[SPEAKER_11]: If you really believe that you could be something, if you were that little voice in your head saying, hey, you got talent, you could do this.
[SPEAKER_11]: Then follow that voice.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's no perfect way to live your 20s.
[SPEAKER_00]: You either live them up and become an underskilled 30-year-old, or you work them up and become an underlived 30-year-old.
[SPEAKER_00]: You just have to figure out which you'd rather be, accept the trade-offs, and know that there are no doobers.
[SPEAKER_02]: There are more people that I have met in my life, who are dissatisfied by their live-it-up 20s.
[SPEAKER_02]: then dissatisfied by their work at up 20s.
[SPEAKER_02]: Because most of the time in your 20s, you have no idea what you want.
[SPEAKER_02]: Because what you thought live them up in your 20s was was actually your mom and your two homies who are both mediocre.
[SPEAKER_02]: And you don't care about their opinion now when you're 30 anyways.
[SPEAKER_02]: But what a waste of a life it would have been to live up your mom's dream or your friend's dreams [SPEAKER_02]: To then only get to your 30s and realize you didn't live it up, and you also didn't work it up.
[SPEAKER_02]: And now you have neither.
[SPEAKER_13]: Your attitude has a giant effect, not just on your life, but on other people's lives around you.
[SPEAKER_13]: That's the other thing about it.
[SPEAKER_13]: Those I can't catch a break guys, yeah.
[SPEAKER_13]: Get them the go away from me.
[SPEAKER_13]: I can't, I can't be around those guys.
[SPEAKER_13]: I don't want to hear that.
[SPEAKER_13]: I don't want to hear that, I don't buy it, because everybody has bad breaks.
[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I've had a ton of bad breaks, but you know what I did, I stayed up, and I thought through it, and I figured out what the guy did wrong, and that I went back.
[SPEAKER_13]: It's like, I've, it's up everything I've ever done, a hundred times.
[SPEAKER_13]: There's no way to do it, there's no other way to do it, and I've had a bunch of the breaks.
[SPEAKER_13]: Everybody has.
[SPEAKER_13]: But you've got to realize when you have those breaks what that is.
[SPEAKER_13]: It's an opportunity for you to reassess, reboot, get better, figure out another way, find another way through.
[SPEAKER_13]: It's just a little challenges.
[SPEAKER_13]: And the people that look at those challenges with war and war who have these challenges, they're cancer.
[SPEAKER_13]: Those people are dangerous to be around.
[SPEAKER_13]: They will rob you of your enthusiasm.
[SPEAKER_13]: They don't give you any fuel.
[SPEAKER_13]: They're the opposite of fuel.
[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, like the few people, they're the only thing to kick an ass.
[SPEAKER_13]: The people that are out there just hustling, always, always getting things done.
[SPEAKER_13]: Like my friend, Jaco, every morning, I'll check his Instagram page 430 shows a picture of his watch, get after it.
[SPEAKER_13]: He's out there working out 430 in the morning.
[SPEAKER_13]: He does it every morning, why?
[SPEAKER_13]: Because he doesn't want to.
[SPEAKER_13]: That's how you do it, you go and get after it, you know, making excuses.
[SPEAKER_13]: And those kind of guys are fuel, but those I can't catch a break guys, they're the opposite of fuel.
[SPEAKER_13]: They're just pissing on your fire.
[SPEAKER_13]: They're no fun.
[SPEAKER_13]: And the people that surround them are all idiots, because only idiots want to be around, I can't catch a break guys.
[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_15]: You ask yourself, you sit on the bed and say, okay, man, I'm ready to learn something.
[SPEAKER_15]: Like, what?
[SPEAKER_15]: What's one thing I'm doing wrong?
[SPEAKER_15]: That I know I'm doing wrong.
[SPEAKER_15]: that I could fix, that I would fix.
[SPEAKER_15]: It's like, you meditate on that?
[SPEAKER_15]: You'll get an answer.
[SPEAKER_15]: And it will only one you want, but it'll be the necessary one.
[SPEAKER_11]: Which one is it?
[SPEAKER_11]: You can't be interested and you can't be obsessed.
[SPEAKER_11]: Interested as a hobby.
[SPEAKER_11]: Kobe Bryant was not interested in winning championships.
[SPEAKER_11]: He was obsessed.
[SPEAKER_11]: and obsession comes in the small details that nobody pays attention to.
[SPEAKER_11]: And I have a saying.
[SPEAKER_11]: right, interested people watch obsessed people change the world.
[SPEAKER_12]: You can go without your friends, you can go without going out, you can go without other people around you.
[SPEAKER_12]: You have to separate yourself from the pack, you have to be willing to spend time with yourself, you have to be willing to start cutting things out of your nutritional program, eat healthy.
[SPEAKER_12]: You know, get enough rest, get enough sleep.
[SPEAKER_12]: All of these things come in the play of finding your purpose.
[SPEAKER_12]: And it's almost sacrifice them.
[SPEAKER_12]: You have to sacrifice.
[SPEAKER_12]: Go ahead of the sacrifice, greater reward.
[SPEAKER_12]: This is so true.
[SPEAKER_12]: And when you do these things, you'll start seeing that [SPEAKER_12]: Okay, well, you should do this and when you go out and you don't do it in a more, it's very, very clear that you've made the right decision because your friends are still be doing that and you'll find yourself that you don't fit in with that crowd anymore.
[SPEAKER_12]: You just don't fit in.
[SPEAKER_12]: Now I got something to, you know, you're starting getting away from people that are negative, you only want to be around positive, you're starting like not wasting your time or things that aren't productive and you will start taking your time at energy and put it into things that you enjoy doing that are productive for yourself.
[SPEAKER_03]: And people will tell you to do what makes you happy, but a lot of this has been hard work, and I'm not always happy.
[SPEAKER_03]: and I don't think you should do this what makes you happy.
[SPEAKER_03]: I think you should do what makes you great.
[SPEAKER_03]: Do what's uncomfortable and scary and hard but pays off in the long run.
[SPEAKER_03]: Be willing to fail.
[SPEAKER_03]: Let yourself fail.
[SPEAKER_03]: Fail in the way in the place where you would want to fail.
[SPEAKER_03]: Fail, pick yourself up and fail again because without the struggle what is your success anyway.
[SPEAKER_03]: Look as best we know [SPEAKER_03]: your own ideas, your honesty, your vulnerability, and through this you will find your way.
[SPEAKER_03]: You do not have to be fearless.
[SPEAKER_03]: Just don't let fear stop.
[SPEAKER_03]: Live like this as best you can, and I guarantee you will look back on a life well-lived.
[SPEAKER_03]: You are capable of greatness in your profession and more importantly in your quality of self.
[SPEAKER_03]: Stay hungry.
[SPEAKER_03]: Stay young at heart, take those risks.
[SPEAKER_03]: You are going to change the world around you in big ways and in small.
[SPEAKER_03]: And I greatly look forward to being a part of the future that you will shape.
[SPEAKER_08]: But we don't take a second to realize the purpose is always there.
[SPEAKER_08]: The purpose never leads us because the very purpose is you.
[SPEAKER_08]: You are always the purpose.
[SPEAKER_08]: There may be another purpose, like being a seal or going to college or whatever, but the main purpose in life is you.
[SPEAKER_08]: So if you wake up in the morning and you don't want to do something, you don't care enough about yourself.
[SPEAKER_08]: And that's what you need to really research is, man, why am I not doing this for myself?
[SPEAKER_08]: Because that is, that is the number one purpose in life is to better oneself.
