[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to the Forty K-Lorecast.

[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to the Forty K-Lorecast with me, John Barsati and Brad Chester.

[SPEAKER_00]: This guy.

[SPEAKER_00]: On today's cast, we're conclude our coverage of the world leaders from just an after-angronous sense to about modern Forty K.

[SPEAKER_01]: Wait a second, John.

[SPEAKER_01]: Did you just say we're doing a world-eaters cast today?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they'll be present.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, by that.

[SPEAKER_00]: We're doing.

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_01]: I guess you're not wrong.

[SPEAKER_01]: He is part of the world, he is.

[SPEAKER_01]: Today's going to be a car in cast every day.

[SPEAKER_00]: You start with a mangroin.

[SPEAKER_00]: We do a lot of car because car is more important.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm the same for most of Forty Kay history.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Tofkoff, he is the principal.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's on everything from literature, gaming, just general life.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's a wonderful area, and I cannot recommend it enough.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let's start off with where we left the last cast off with anger on us saying the demonhood.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, this is really important because not only does anger on the first to truly fall to chaos, he's the first to actually get consumed by it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Over time, more primarx will do this, but yet remember, at this point Horace is aligned with the chaos gods, [SPEAKER_00]: We, Lorgar is aligned with the chaos gods, but none of them have been possessed by a chaos god.

[SPEAKER_00]: Angron just was possessed and converted.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Right.

[SPEAKER_01]: If this is, he's, he's, again, he's a new life.

[SPEAKER_01]: If this is something completely different because they're as, oh, we're getting to wait later.

[SPEAKER_01]: Bellicard would be the first of the demon princes, but this is a demon.

[SPEAKER_01]: It is a completely new form that's out there, and he is the most physically powerful being right now.

[SPEAKER_00]: In the material.

[SPEAKER_00]: In the material.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: In the real world, in the real.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Real spake.

[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_01]: And this is huge.

[SPEAKER_01]: This is another we ended with the cast with Bobby G kind of going, yeah, I don't know what that is.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to get some info and come back because this is a completely new powerful form.

[SPEAKER_01]: No one knows what to do with it first.

[SPEAKER_00]: So that's why it's such a big deal.

[SPEAKER_00]: And let's talk about [SPEAKER_00]: What I find funny about this is that with Angron's ascension demonhood, all is right in the world for the world leaders.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is just an awesome moment.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, should be right in the world leaders.

[SPEAKER_00]: From the perspective of the world leaders, their primarck is now far and away, the most physically powerful being in the galaxy, which is what they're really care about.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Legion itself is now brimming with radiant power of corn, because corn blesses a champion, all who fight with a champion also receive his gifts.

[SPEAKER_00]: There is the one small problem.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Legion was supposed to be doing this super lame mission for Horace where they go meet up with some non-demon legions on some dumb planet.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is not a metal thing to do.

[SPEAKER_00]: But, well, anger on the charts.

[SPEAKER_01]: I was just gonna say, anger on the charts, anger on the charts also has his mind back.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm doing a huge set of air clues for this because he's no longer just insane, but he's now more bloodthirsty than ever because he is now fully infused.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's more greater demon now than anything, as far as how he operates.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now, he's not doing any of this shenanigans.

[SPEAKER_01]: Another reason why when you're trying to run a very tight, very scheduled plan of invasion, you don't make it with the forces of, I don't know, say, chaos.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, not the forces of law.

[SPEAKER_00]: So let's talk about what he does.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, my favorite part is Angron is not only is he in charge, but number two is Karn who's in locks up with Angron.

[SPEAKER_00]: So Angron looks around and decides they're getting blood for the blood God and skulls for the skull throne takes up precedence over Horace and whatever he has planned.

[SPEAKER_00]: Karn agrees with this and you know who really agrees with this?

[SPEAKER_00]: Karn.

[SPEAKER_00]: So the entirety, every single world leader by the way, disappear in one moment, and no one knows where they are except they can kind of follow a trail, because there is a wake of horrors, because when I say disappear, they didn't go into the warp, they just stopped returning horrors as calls.

[SPEAKER_00]: And immediately went, they were busy.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: And they just started going through the galaxy, ripping stuff apart.

[SPEAKER_00]: And this like trail that they create actually is in the ripping stuff apart.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: I was just saying ripping stuff enough.

[SPEAKER_01]: They are actually doing so much murder and mayhem.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's slaughter.

[SPEAKER_01]: They're doing slaughter.

[SPEAKER_01]: They slaughter and carnage, the names of the axes, but they're doing slaughter and carnage such a crazy that they're actually wrecking the warp around them.

[SPEAKER_01]: So they're kind of doing what he wanted them to do, but in the wrong places, not effectively doing where Horace wanted them.

[SPEAKER_01]: even a little.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and what's interesting about this is that this, like, trail of destruction that they're creating, I mean, they're killing every last living thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is a sixty thousand plus strong Legion that is descending on planet after planet system after the system, killing everything on it and then raising monuments to the blood God on them.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, also, let's be fair to be fair.

[SPEAKER_01]: So first off, let's talk about things that are actually happening.

[SPEAKER_01]: Anger out in corn got matching lockets of best friends forever, but they're also you see there is sixty thousand plus legion.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, but they're the first and we might be slightly wrong on this.

[SPEAKER_01]: I got to check on word bears, but I think they're the first legion to actually have full demonic incursions behind it.

[SPEAKER_01]: So there's sixty thousand plus world leaders plus a horn.

[SPEAKER_01]: of demons every time.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I would say, I think we are going to it's similar.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's the gold same same, but different.

[SPEAKER_00]: The challenges that Lord God and his legion would summon demons in to assist them.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's a right around here in the heresy.

[SPEAKER_00]: The difference is anger on his legion and not summoning demons.

[SPEAKER_00]: They're just performing such incredible things that the demons can just manifest in reality.

[SPEAKER_01]: because in the some of the stories are great when you read them because the world leaders are doing so much slaughter that demons there's bloodletters there's greater demons just appearing next to them right behind in their wake they have such this force and it's we'll go into the news some of the new stuff with anger on heat they have this just powers they do so much rage so much slaughter that they draw these demons [SPEAKER_01]: Like, just mock through a flame.

[SPEAKER_01]: They have to appear.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like you say, it's sixty thousand, but it's not because they're taking over whole worlds.

[SPEAKER_01]: And some of the time they have as many demons are more than they have.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Amorizia.

[SPEAKER_00]: For sure.

[SPEAKER_00]: The flip side of this, Horace is not pleased.

[SPEAKER_00]: Horace needs the world leaders for his final assault on Tara.

[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, yes, he's ravaged the Ravenguards, Salamanders, and Ironhands.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he's locked the Dark Angel's Space Wolfs and Ultramarines away from Tara.

[SPEAKER_01]: Horace's legion though still, they lost half their numbers.

[SPEAKER_01]: Remember they had to get, they, they purged anyone that they thought could possibly be a threat.

[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_00]: Our steam loyal.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Horace has already had to sacrifice his, the night lords to keep some of the legions away.

[SPEAKER_00]: And there is a war of attrition happening.

[SPEAKER_00]: He is losing forces.

[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't have the ability to gene-seed up his soldiers or the time to do it that the Imperium does.

[SPEAKER_00]: And all of that being said, when he gets to Tara, he has a huge issue called Rogaldorn.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Rogaldorn has built the fortification.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Horus knows how good those are.

[SPEAKER_00]: He also is going to have to deal with the blood angels, the imperial fists, the white scars, the custodians.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's tough.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's tough.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's tough.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's tough.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's tough.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's tough.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's tough.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's tough.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's tough.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's tough.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's tough.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's tough.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hold on, and the emperor is still alive, not in the golden throne.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's a pretty big deal.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, hey, man, if all of those people weren't there, you're still like, we still have to deal with the emperor himself.

[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so the world leaders were a key part of his strategy because the world leaders are basically the best spearhead in the entirety of the space marine chapters.

[SPEAKER_00]: And now that they're being led by a demon primarke, even better.

[SPEAKER_00]: Was Horace probably going to sacrifice them in a suicide attack?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: He told me it was.

[SPEAKER_00]: But he was totally very helpful.

[SPEAKER_00]: So Horace decides he needs Angron and after a bunch of phone calls, he'd go unanswered.

[SPEAKER_01]: After a bunch of, who number?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_00]: I assume at a certain point, Angron is doing the thing where he's answering and hanging up in one mode because he's sick of the voicemails.

[SPEAKER_00]: Horace sends Petarabo to go collect Angron and bring him back.

[SPEAKER_00]: I will say for Petarabo, this process of trekking on Nanganron was not very hard.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was you basically enter the trail of destroyed planets and just follow it.

[SPEAKER_00]: So Petarabo and his legion arrive on a planet called DeLuge, which if you haven't played wasteland three, you should.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was random.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm bringing this up right now, but wasteland two, eight and wasteland three, excellent games from the original creators of fallout.

[SPEAKER_00]: One of these days, I'll get sponsored for one of these pitches.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm doing for random old video games, but just gonna do it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Also, I do recommend this a lot because before we went live today, I did spend about ten minutes talking about how much I loved turn-based combat and the original fallouts and the wasteland dumps.

[SPEAKER_01]: They're fantastic.

[SPEAKER_00]: wasteland threes very, very funny.

[SPEAKER_00]: So as wasteland do, I don't.

[SPEAKER_00]: I played wasteland one was a very long time ago.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure it was good, but anyway.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, deluge wasn't imperial planet that has seen better days at this point, which is fair understatement, I think.

[SPEAKER_01]: I was a big seed better days.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's the paint, it's not any good anymore.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, the world leaders descended on deluge like they had hundreds of worlds before and decided to make it a bit more like home if you like corn's realm a lot.

[SPEAKER_01]: So, they show up.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's corpses piled miles into the sky.

[SPEAKER_01]: They have just [SPEAKER_01]: formations, they're making basically the symbols of corn, but mile high skulls to it, thrones to it.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's just desecrated bodies, but in huge scene, never before a scene.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like word bears will get their demons and they summon in the killer cultus.

[SPEAKER_01]: The world leaders were making accidentally, effectively.

[SPEAKER_01]: the biggest monuments to corn that you could ever make.

[SPEAKER_01]: And it's pretty intimidating to come to these planets.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Puerto Ravo in the books is what the hell is going on here?

[SPEAKER_01]: Because this is kind of the, he's never seen full chaos, corruption, full chaos, perversion of an entire planet.

[SPEAKER_01]: So he's actually taking a back as a member of heat turns.

[SPEAKER_01]: But he hasn't actually given himself at this point, Puerto Rabo for a long time.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's just on the side of Horus.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's different.

[SPEAKER_01]: This is the first time he's ever seen this.

[SPEAKER_01]: So he's wildly taken aback at this and is worried about [SPEAKER_01]: What's going to happen to him?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, yeah, I mean, Peter Robbo gets there.

[SPEAKER_00]: And again, he's had no contact with the anchron.

[SPEAKER_00]: He knows anchrons here.

[SPEAKER_00]: And his role leaders are here.

[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't see them.

[SPEAKER_00]: He lands on this planet.

[SPEAKER_00]: And again, these corpses are piled up.

[SPEAKER_00]: Everything's all right.

[SPEAKER_00]: But he can't there's no one there.

[SPEAKER_00]: So what he does, he starts to build defenses around himself.

[SPEAKER_00]: Not as well as Rogal Dorn, what if, but he does do it.

[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know where the iron wars are attacked by Worldeard Bizarre.

[SPEAKER_00]: These are the guys who have the butcher's nails and their skulls.

[SPEAKER_00]: But not only that, there's also bloodletters coming in.

[SPEAKER_00]: So this is their first time seeing demons and they're being attacked by former brothers and demons.

[SPEAKER_00]: Luckily, Peter Robo did build a good enough defense and he was able to defend them.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's what you do to melee armies ranged combat.

[SPEAKER_00]: He used ranged combat and shot them all away.

[SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't he have Brad?

[SPEAKER_01]: I want to give Brad serious a day.

[SPEAKER_01]: because I agree on the side of percent.

[SPEAKER_01]: So all of this is happening.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's no record of where this is.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think that they had so much blood and slaughter that this might not be in real space anymore, at least partially kind of like when we had Prospero be in both.

[SPEAKER_01]: in the immaterial and the material at the same time, I kind of think that this is what was happening.

[SPEAKER_00]: You think that deluge was actually partially in the work.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's possible.

[SPEAKER_01]: Partially in the war.

[SPEAKER_01]: Because they had a huge demonic incursion here.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's all bloodlipers, but it's still.

[SPEAKER_00]: You just don't get them in real space.

[SPEAKER_00]: The funny part, as I mentioned before, that Roguel Dornway, that it better.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Petarabo built a wall on the outside, but I didn't look up.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so, Angron decides to come in from above.

[SPEAKER_00]: The skies open up, and Angron, the winged demon Primark Angron comes straight down, and he was in a bit of a mood.

[SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately, we need to take a second here, about how mean GW is to Angron.

[SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, like he's, he comes in, let's set the seed.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's awesome.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's coming with full, deep in primar power.

[SPEAKER_01]: Looking amazing, coming down, just decimating all of the iron worries that around him goes after Puerto Ravo.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he is definitely going to crush him unless you call him a bad name and make fun of him.

[SPEAKER_01]: What?

[SPEAKER_00]: Every single.

[SPEAKER_00]: Just come on.

[SPEAKER_00]: Peter Robbins.

[SPEAKER_00]: Don't every single time.

[SPEAKER_00]: This would happen.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, Peter Robbins angers are fighting.

[SPEAKER_00]: Peter Robbins has no chance here.

[SPEAKER_00]: But starts telling Angron how he was born a slave and he will now be one for all the attorney for giving himself over to chaos.

[SPEAKER_00]: And this made Angron somehow less of a fighter.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Perrabo gets the upper hand in the fight at Angron again.

[SPEAKER_00]: Angron is a primer, so it was Perrabo, but Angron is a primer who's also a demon prince, he's bloodletter, primer, and he's on a world that's infused with corny energy.

[SPEAKER_00]: So he should be one hand backhanding Perrabo while having a conversation with someone over there about how lame Perrabo is.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, he should have been using his axe and a five iron and he should have scoop him up and launched him with a birdie put onto the golf.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: So that being said, as they're fighting suddenly someone else arrives, it's Gilman and his legion because he'd also been following the trail of destruction that Angron and his legion had left and he was there to put a stop to it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Angron turns the Petarabo here, and starts laughing, declaring that now they're both gonna die, but one of them is immortal.

[SPEAKER_00]: Which I thought by way, really good line.

[SPEAKER_00]: Petarabo though breaks out the old sticks and stones, will break my bone, but words will absolutely devastate and offend me.

[SPEAKER_00]: Robo reminds Angron that he let all of his men die on Luceria, and he's about to do it again here, because Angron's men are not immortal, only Angron is.

[SPEAKER_00]: at which point Angron goes effectively, all right, fine.

[SPEAKER_00]: And some of this massive warp storm, almost as powerful as the one lower guard made back on McCregg, and Angron and Petarabo just jump into it and go join Horacecler.

[SPEAKER_01]: All of the perwere leaders in the nine waters.

[SPEAKER_01]: But it wasn't just that way.

[SPEAKER_00]: They bring everything right.

[SPEAKER_00]: So let's go into what happens next, which is, Angron joins the traders and then Angron arises, full Legion at Ulnar.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he would get there.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of cool.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's not the only demon primar because at this point, Mortarian has been corrupted by Nurgle and Fulgram has been converted by Slenex.

[SPEAKER_00]: Fulgrams a snake.

[SPEAKER_00]: Mortarians.

[SPEAKER_01]: I was supposed to say full full-grabbing.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're Terry and happened almost at the same time.

[SPEAKER_01]: So anger.

[SPEAKER_01]: I was first on there with the ritual.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then Morty comes out of where they get stuck after he makes the excellent deal.

[SPEAKER_01]: The same thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: Stop trying to do wishes and D&D everyone.

[SPEAKER_01]: It never works out for you.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then you've got full-grab.

[SPEAKER_01]: Who is fully embraced by Selenash at this point in time.

[SPEAKER_00]: The problem though is that angron is nuts nuts at this stage.

[SPEAKER_00]: The butcher's nails are still making him nuts and what happens is because he's no longer in slaughter mode.

[SPEAKER_00]: His rage and ang and impatient start really driving up because angron's like the bus is speed.

[SPEAKER_00]: If he's going fifty five miles an hour faster, he's totally fine.

[SPEAKER_00]: No issues.

[SPEAKER_00]: But once he slows down, it all catches up.

[SPEAKER_00]: Luckily, Karen is also there.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Karen's about to go from a side character to a main character in about ten minutes of this cast guide.

[SPEAKER_00]: As we get into the siege of Tara, this is where these two are going to flip effectively.

[SPEAKER_00]: Angron for whatever reason is one of the mechanics, much like like the Iron Warders actually, that GW uses to show off someone who's not Angron.

[SPEAKER_00]: Angron is going to get in the fight with somebody and that person is going to defeat him.

[SPEAKER_00]: And that defeat of Angron is based on how incredibly powerful Angron is.

[SPEAKER_00]: Therefore, this person's even more powerful.

[SPEAKER_00]: It annoys the ever-living hell out of me and we're about to have to do a few of them.

[SPEAKER_00]: So moving forward.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's why Angron always takes care of the ads, never the buzz.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_00]: As we go towards Tara, Angron effectively turns into a shaken kind of diet coke that also somehow has mentos inside of it.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is not great.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he begins just wailing at Horace screaming that he has to bleed the spearhead.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to go do all this stuff.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to charge the gate.

[SPEAKER_00]: And as they basically get to Tara, Horus turns him and says, hey, no, Mortarian's got going to lead it.

[SPEAKER_00]: He demanded the same thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: And unlike you, what isn't it to tell on this, but it's implied, unlike Angron, Mortarian will actually follow a plan.

[SPEAKER_00]: So if I say, go here and do this, Mortarian and his legion will do it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Angron legion is just going to run straight out.

[SPEAKER_01]: But the thing is, John, it was no big deal because Angron understood that he'd been wrong in the past and really sat and self-reflected on what Oris had to say.

[SPEAKER_01]: And was ready to just deal with those plans, like a very well adjusted adult.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Angron doesn't.

[SPEAKER_00]: Or?

[SPEAKER_00]: Angron doesn't take this great.

[SPEAKER_00]: Angron basically behaves like a three-year-old, well-passed his bedtime that also drank a three-two-ounce monitor energy drink and a bag of skills.

[SPEAKER_00]: He goes crazy and starts ripping apart his own ship.

[SPEAKER_00]: Not only is he ripping apart the bridge, but he then goes for a walk, basically, to calm himself down, and everyone on his ship who makes eye contact with him, he kills.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's just going through the ship murdering anyone and everyone, and they realize he's on a collision course on his little trajectory with the reactor of the ship.

[SPEAKER_00]: The world leaders recognize that it's quite possible.

[SPEAKER_00]: Angra and Mike just walk into the reactor of their ship and blow it up, which will blow up their ship, but also will blow up all Horace's ships.

[SPEAKER_00]: So Angra and almost ended the Horace Heresy Solo.

[SPEAKER_00]: So they don't know what to do.

[SPEAKER_00]: Luckily, the night lords have a flagship there.

[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, Conrad is not there and nightfall.

[SPEAKER_00]: Nightfall has in it the impossible labor in that Vulcan self.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I was just saying it possible.

[SPEAKER_01]: A habit which Vulcan was in for one point eight seconds and was like, Oh, the eggs that's right here.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so they have to figure out a way to get Angron into this lab earth.

[SPEAKER_00]: Karne knows exactly what to do.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, Karne grabs a little teleport Homer and walks up to Angron and challenges him to a fight.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is a great carn moment because carn challenges angron.

[SPEAKER_00]: It turns out is that as carn goes to challenge angron, we learned that corn himself has been whispering in the ear of angron that carn is his champion, not angron, pointing out all the things carn does that are better than what angron does.

[SPEAKER_00]: So when Karn walks up to Angron, it's perfect timing for Angron.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because Angron's like, great.

[SPEAKER_00]: I've been looking to beat the ever living crap out of you in front of the chaos guy.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I can be the greatest champion.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: But also, the Angron is still getting me.

[SPEAKER_01]: I hate how they do him some to do him.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes he's basically sad that he's not the true champion of Karn.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: But he also is going to improve a point.

[SPEAKER_00]: So Karn and Angron get into a fight.

[SPEAKER_00]: All right.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is a fight where anger on should have taken one swipe and cut Carnan F.

But as I said before, GW doesn't do that with anger on anger on always has to lose.

[SPEAKER_00]: They have his protracted fight where Carn is kind of always playing with anger on, getting him close, fighting him away, ducking his moves, and what Carn eventually does is he just starts mulling off the whole time.

[SPEAKER_00]: to get anger on anger, and finally, anger on launches himself at carn.

[SPEAKER_00]: And carn ducks out of the way of one of his like, just death blows, which by the way would have come way too fast from dive out of it.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's the side note.

[SPEAKER_00]: And just plants a teleport homeer on him, instantly teleporting anger onto the center of the lab.

[SPEAKER_01]: In the center of the lab, it's also in my mind, it's another one of those, whether they're doing the [SPEAKER_01]: the bugs, buddy, others a giant ex underneath there.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he stands right underneath there.

[SPEAKER_01]: You get hit by the safe.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, or the envelope.

[SPEAKER_00]: Your choice.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is possible that this labyrinth is actually somewhat in the pocket dimension because anger on just starts.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's off ripping this thing up.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's a thousand percent in the pocket dimension.

[SPEAKER_01]: And Vulcan figured it out instantaneously.

[SPEAKER_01]: Angron decided that puzzles are for bombs and just started destroying it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they just ripping it apart.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's fast forward a little bit.

[SPEAKER_00]: The invasion of Terra is abing and flowing.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's gains and losses for the traders.

[SPEAKER_00]: Horace and Petarabo initially tried to use like tactics and gile to basically overwhelm the palace, but not too long and they realized that the defenses are just too strong and too perfect for such an assault.

[SPEAKER_00]: The only way they're going to get in there is brute force.

[SPEAKER_00]: And this is the first time.

[SPEAKER_00]: I actually pipe this might be the third time car and dies, fourth time car and dies.

[SPEAKER_00]: The car is about to die.

[SPEAKER_00]: Karn is the first the world leaders to dive into the battle.

[SPEAKER_00]: He joins Abidon at the Lion Gate Space Port, and here, consumed by bloodlust and butchers nails, the loyalists have never seen anything like this.

[SPEAKER_00]: These are world leaders with pure bloodlust, they've got butchers nails in their skull, and they just start raging through the lion's gate.

[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about this in our, the probably Black Templar cast, but it might have been our second imperial fist cast.

[SPEAKER_00]: Sigismund is here.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Sigismund and Karn used to be really good friends.

[SPEAKER_00]: They would fight in the pits together.

[SPEAKER_00]: They both like hand-to-hand combat.

[SPEAKER_00]: And the two of them start dueling Sigismund obviously less than happy about the whole trader invasion thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, which he is a badass because this dude is so silly, but that's a dick ass.

[SPEAKER_01]: We've already talked about him.

[SPEAKER_01]: But current starts just going off and current is so infused with the power of corn that he is actually taking it to a pretty well, but [SPEAKER_01]: As we said before, when you didn't notice all comic x is on the ground, Tarn doesn't look up apparently.

[SPEAKER_00]: What's more to the side?

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean, it is up because the whole door and does jump down off the space.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's a while they're fighting.

[SPEAKER_00]: Karn doesn't really notice the hand foot tall one ton dude in yellow power armor.

[SPEAKER_00]: running towards him.

[SPEAKER_00]: And as Karn is about to deliver a killing blow of Sigisman, Rogodorn backhand him into Oblivion.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's how it's written, by the way.

[SPEAKER_00]: He, yes, backhand him.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, he, yes, yes, yes, yes.

[SPEAKER_00]: He backhand him into a, I mean, this is comic, actually, this is comic book backhand.

[SPEAKER_00]: But when he hits Karn, Karn flies off his feet into a wall.

[SPEAKER_00]: and it crushes all of his bones and he probably, they don't say he dies, but he dies.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, they said, oh, back up a little bit.

[SPEAKER_01]: They don't say dies except for the fact that they say Karan's bones were crushed into a jelly.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well, the power fist backhand, which by the way, should be a move in Forty Kay.

[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I should be able to have, in my power fist, you get two attacks, punch and backhand.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, punch and slap.

[SPEAKER_00]: Once it's changed it over, I get punch and I get slap.

[SPEAKER_00]: I get two extra attacks on the slap.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's, that's fair for me.

[SPEAKER_00]: will be right back after a quick break.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, around the same time, the invasion is beginning to falter.

[SPEAKER_00]: Horace needs to up the ante, and he has to add more forces, and this is one of my favorite parts of the entire invasion of Terra.

[SPEAKER_00]: So Angron's ship that he's in, in the labyrinth, is in space.

[SPEAKER_00]: And they need to get anger on onto the planet.

[SPEAKER_00]: But they can't land the ship.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's too big.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you brought the ship onto the planet, it would actually crush.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because these ships are so big.

[SPEAKER_00]: They're built in space.

[SPEAKER_00]: If they come onto a planet, they actually the gravity would actually rip them apart.

[SPEAKER_00]: So they just open the airlock and dump them in the space.

[SPEAKER_01]: A grout senses the battle and just dives out.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, this is this should be fine.

[SPEAKER_01]: They describe it as a fiery meteor crashing to the planet from which anger on he basically hits the ground explosion.

[SPEAKER_01]: because of the whole media you're coming from space.

[SPEAKER_01]: And instantaneously starts going on a murder spree immediately with everything around straight towards the walls.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, the thing anger I didn't know that Horace did know was that the Emperor's psychic barrier was still up.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so as anger on his rushing towards the wall, killing every single member of the loyalists who are available, he bounces off the wall.

[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about what's happening up there.

[SPEAKER_01]: Sigurdius is standing up there, which if you're talking about people anger on doesn't like, would be high on the top of his list.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he bounces off because of the barrier, because anger on effectively is a demon.

[SPEAKER_01]: So he can't cross this psychic barrier.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's locking out demons and Sigurdius is standing on the top of the walls talking in insane amount of smack talk to anger on like his.

[SPEAKER_00]: Father's smelled of elder berries, his mother party, his general election, hamster, and then starts throwing livestock down at him.

[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's not really happened, but it would have been better that way.

[SPEAKER_00]: Closer you have.

[SPEAKER_00]: Angron gets even angrier and decides to turn and just go to the attorney wall space port and go do his own thing there, which is my next favorite part of the angron saga.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Grant turns the attention to the attorney wall space port.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he just comes crazy out now.

[SPEAKER_01]: They weren't ready for Carons amount of fury.

[SPEAKER_01]: Ron turns this spinal tap up to eleven and just starts devastating the the space port.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, just wrecking it.

[SPEAKER_01]: This also was [SPEAKER_01]: to be fair, this was actually wrecking with the plan of the defenders because Angron took out the defenders of the space port wildly faster than he was supposed to, because they're just not ready for juiced up demon prime mark losing his mind after just being talked, grabbed.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the problem is that Angron's not a very good pay attention guy.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so while he's doing this, he's just slaughtering everyone at the space port, he doesn't notice that the orbital guns are moving.

[SPEAKER_00]: And as he turns over, one of the orbital guns meant to shoot down ships that are actually in space.

[SPEAKER_00]: He takes that to the face point blank.

[SPEAKER_01]: But here's the thing, I love, I wish they would do an animation of this because again, an orbital gun got pointed down, which in itself is hilarious.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he just didn't notice that a fifty meter long gun [SPEAKER_01]: was directly pointed at his head and turns around with the yikes, the little flag, it gets blast in the face.

[SPEAKER_00]: He then reforms almost instantly though.

[SPEAKER_00]: Very, very, very angry.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I do want to pause here for a second.

[SPEAKER_00]: So Angron took an orbital gun to the face, but he couldn't beat Pettarabo in a hand-to-hand combat.

[SPEAKER_00]: That just feels.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're not going.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: It every time Angron fights a named main name character.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, Angron's presence in the siege of Tara is about to come to a close.

[SPEAKER_00]: In fact, nowly is his presence in the siege of Tara coming to close.

[SPEAKER_00]: His presence in the game, the lore of the game is going to come to close for almost ten thousand years after this moment.

[SPEAKER_00]: The siege of Tara is commencing the fury and the force with which the traders are fighting is by breaking down the Emperor's force field.

[SPEAKER_00]: And as a result, the front lines have to shift backwards to the palace itself.

[SPEAKER_00]: sensing the weakening emperors aura, angron, and the world here's launched themselves forward again.

[SPEAKER_00]: Unknown to angron, he was actually being driven not to the emperor, but to sanguenious.

[SPEAKER_00]: Horace was doing this, because Horace knew he had to get sanguenious out of action, and that's our cabanda failed to do it.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's kind of running out of people, so he sends, yeah, I was to say, cabanda did exactly the opposite, because if you recall in our cast before, [SPEAKER_01]: uh he took a band and broke his back in front of the forces of the imperial to rally them so it did not happen.

[SPEAKER_00]: Angron, of course, runs straight into San Guinness, and the two of them have an epic duel.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's a long book, guys.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to cover the whole duel.

[SPEAKER_00]: But it comes to a conclusion when Angron runs San Guinness through this black blade, which is an awesome blade, by the way.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's super cool in the lore.

[SPEAKER_00]: It gains permanent strength for each duel that it wins.

[SPEAKER_00]: So it defeated San Guinness.

[SPEAKER_00]: So he still has it, kind of cool sword.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so saying when he is decides, nah, ain't going out like that.

[SPEAKER_00]: And while I'm pale in the sword, he grabs Angron's head, reaches in and gets a whole of the butcher's nails, which we've said, they run a little bit outside of the skull too.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you look at the Angron, Molly can see them, they're actually on there.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he just pulls them out of his skull.

[SPEAKER_01]: which is amazing because he pulls them out because they're part of this, they part of them.

[SPEAKER_01]: They physically part of them because now they're charged with warp energy.

[SPEAKER_01]: They're, they're him.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, what happens because he rips out the nails, John.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he runs head explodes.

[SPEAKER_00]: He gets vanished to the war.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he appears briefly seven thousand years later, but doesn't really appear again for almost ten thousand years.

[SPEAKER_00]: As soon as he goes, the world leaders go into a rage, which is actually not losing.

[SPEAKER_00]: But it's funny.

[SPEAKER_00]: The rage they go into is very similar to the one that the blood angels go into and send when he has died.

[SPEAKER_00]: So they just start killing.

[SPEAKER_00]: Anything nearby them, blood has to be spilled.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's, well, remember, it's, we talked about this.

[SPEAKER_01]: They go into a rage of killing everything around them, friend or flow.

[SPEAKER_01]: Period.

[SPEAKER_01]: Blood for the Blood God.

[SPEAKER_00]: And what happens is, around the same time, while this is occurring, on a different part of the invasion, Karn has been resurrected by Korn again, and Karn is leading his own battle group in the charge up into the inner palace.

[SPEAKER_00]: And as always, and forevermore, Karn is at the forefront of this assault.

[SPEAKER_00]: Karn never leads from the back.

[SPEAKER_00]: He is always the first one in the combat, and he'll be the last one out of combat.

[SPEAKER_00]: While he's fighting, he sees a very familiar shape up here in front of him, and it's Sigismund.

[SPEAKER_00]: Sigismund has come out again to fight Karl.

[SPEAKER_00]: This seems really cool, more from the, if you understand the backstory of it all, Sigismund and Karn were both born on Terra.

[SPEAKER_00]: They're both, some of the first recruits into their legions, and now here they are standing on their home planet, fighting to the death, to determine whether the planet is going to basically continue to exist, because by the way, Horus wins this, they just destroy Terra.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll think he's going to sit in the throne.

[SPEAKER_00]: Siggasman, though.

[SPEAKER_01]: Give Siggasman a little credit on this.

[SPEAKER_01]: Siggasman's very tough.

[SPEAKER_01]: This is an amazing battle set up.

[SPEAKER_01]: Siggasman might be one of the top ten trash talkers of not caring, giving any of about what is happening.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, hey, I'm hopelessly overmatched.

[SPEAKER_01]: Good to hear.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: Siggasman and Karn are fighting.

[SPEAKER_00]: Karn is infused in the powers of chaos.

[SPEAKER_00]: Karn is the champion of Karn.

[SPEAKER_00]: And you know who doesn't give two F's about that?

[SPEAKER_00]: Siggasman.

[SPEAKER_00]: Siggasman decides to beat the pants out of Karn and kill him.

[SPEAKER_00]: Wow, give it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, loving the whole time.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hold on, you have to give him credit for this, because it's not like he wins.

[SPEAKER_01]: He gives him a lecture about why he's disappointed.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not even bad.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just disappointed.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: So now he just gives him a talking do and Carl now dies for the second time in like an hour and a half.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, what happens next is the rest of the heresy, obviously.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Emperor teleports the eventual spirit.

[SPEAKER_00]: They fight Horace's killed and the forces of chaos have to retreat.

[SPEAKER_00]: But before they leave, the world leaders go and grab Karan's body.

[SPEAKER_00]: And the reason they do this is because he is their greatest champion.

[SPEAKER_00]: As we talked about it with Angron, back on New Sarah.

[SPEAKER_00]: Angron was furious that his fellow warriors had been left to decay in the sun.

[SPEAKER_00]: A true warrior deserves burial rights.

[SPEAKER_00]: So the world leaders, despite the fact they've lost the battle, still want to honor Karan.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so they collect his body to go bury it wherever they're going.

[SPEAKER_01]: But they don't need a barrier, my friend, because luckily for the world leaders, they had the magic man, which is the warp.

[SPEAKER_01]: But Karen's only mostly dead.

[SPEAKER_01]: So they go back to everybody's fleeing back to the I've Tara.

[SPEAKER_01]: And Karen was dead, but he wasn't all the way dead.

[SPEAKER_01]: So they kind of reached the threshold of the emitarium.

[SPEAKER_01]: and Karen pops back up he was just he he pops back up going hey guys I was just kind of hurt I know it looks like my body is destroyed there's no way I could come back for this but up it was merely a flesh for what I'm gonna walk this off [SPEAKER_00]: We've discussed in pieces what happened when the trail agents entered the eye of terror.

[SPEAKER_00]: So the eye of terror first and foremost is not in the warp.

[SPEAKER_00]: The eye of terror is it's in between the two.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's demons can manifest there, but a [SPEAKER_00]: being from the material can also be there.

[SPEAKER_00]: Being from the material that enters the warp actually gets ripped apart with the exception of a drag-o and a few others.

[SPEAKER_00]: So the eye of terrors is weird little space where it is both in material and not the material.

[SPEAKER_00]: As the legions of chaos, or, but yeah, now they are the legions of chaos enter into the eye of terror.

[SPEAKER_00]: They had to start establishing a place to call home.

[SPEAKER_00]: The thousands sons already had it because Prospero got shifted to the work, but everyone else has to go kind of hunk or something.

[SPEAKER_00]: The world leaders are mostly everybody else decide on this one planet that looks awesome called Scalather X.

Oh, that was what's called Scolix.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's definitely not Scolix.

[SPEAKER_00]: Music that by the way.

[SPEAKER_00]: Definitely Scolix.

[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like dubstep and migraines don't go well together.

[SPEAKER_01]: What are you talking about?

[SPEAKER_01]: This is exactly what I put up with.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's why you always have migraines.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's because grind wicks up every day to screw licks.

[SPEAKER_00]: Just a dubstep constantly.

[SPEAKER_00]: The only issue is that this planet skull out thorax is not only just the world eaters.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's also of interest to the emperor's children.

[SPEAKER_00]: And that's because this was used to be an elder world.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we'll pause on that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, most of these worlds in the eye of terror, world of worlds, because this is the previous center of the Elder Civilization.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's a fair point.

[SPEAKER_00]: The problem is that Swinesh wants it, and Karn and Karn don't care what you want.

[SPEAKER_00]: They have their own wants, so Karn and his world leaders descend on the planet, and they get in this massive war with the Emperor's children to control it.

[SPEAKER_00]: As they're fighting, and this is something that comes up with elder worlds, a lot that are inside the warp, the elder world itself begins to sense all the chaos and decides to just, yeah, nah, we're not having that.

[SPEAKER_00]: And the world itself tries to defeat chaos.

[SPEAKER_00]: Again, this isn't like elder forces appearing, the world does it.

[SPEAKER_00]: The entire planet starts to have its temperature drop massively.

[SPEAKER_00]: Not like a Canadian winter calls.

[SPEAKER_01]: Just a held on, man.

[SPEAKER_01]: You made it sound like they turned out the thermostat.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hey guys, we turned the air down a little.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, this place starts to get breaking steel cold.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's so cold that chaos fueled space marines couldn't withstand it.

[SPEAKER_00]: So both forces retreat and from the battle to go back to seek shelter in their war camps.

[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't agree with this method.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is one of the most important parts of the history of Karn.

[SPEAKER_00]: Karn decides he is not going to be denied his slaughter, because what have people like, well, the weather will break.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Karn's a, I don't care.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm killing now.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he's watching his legion go back.

[SPEAKER_00]: And what to do with cowards?

[SPEAKER_00]: To send me to with witches.

[SPEAKER_00]: You burn them.

[SPEAKER_00]: heard them.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so his chain axe in one hand, which will cover more in that in a second and his flame or in the other, Karan starts to burn down all of the shelters of the world years.

[SPEAKER_01]: I love this because anybody that won't come to fight because people start hunkery down in bunkers and carn just opens a hatch and goes well eat flane coward and he does this for an entire night which who knows what time is again in the war but it's different you have no idea but in the course of one night he fractures the [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, what I don't like about this writing is that it's a posi sets off a chain reaction causes the entire planet to burn with fire, which just doesn't make sense.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm just going to go with he burnt this little region, but whatever, but as with as everything burns, corn enters more of a blood rage because world leaders are coming out to fight him now.

[SPEAKER_00]: and he begins just slaughtering everything.

[SPEAKER_00]: And that's because as far as Karen's concerned, skulls or skulls blood is blood.

[SPEAKER_00]: So during this slaughter, anything that attacks him or anything that even moves, he attacks.

[SPEAKER_00]: where it becomes really important, the great kind of, the connection point from early corn to this moment of corn, is that he gets attacked by three unseen assailants, two of them don't matter.

[SPEAKER_00]: He kills two of them.

[SPEAKER_00]: The third one.

[SPEAKER_01]: Two red shirts named Guy, but the third guy is Guru.

[SPEAKER_01]: Which is his matter back on Tara, who showed him the ways of being a world leader Marie in the first place.

[SPEAKER_01]: When he first joined the Twelfth Legion and Guru starts, [SPEAKER_01]: yelling at Korn, Korn, telling him, what is he calling?

[SPEAKER_01]: You're betraying everything that he had time.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's a reason he's not called Korn, the betrayer.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he was asking him in the pursuit of what?

[SPEAKER_00]: And to which Korn turns him in answers, the contest.

[SPEAKER_00]: A thousand skulls was a pathetic tool.

[SPEAKER_00]: Karnas already counted over one million skulls.

[SPEAKER_00]: He has won the contest and he's not done.

[SPEAKER_00]: Karn was going to continue collecting skulls and proving himself to be the greatest warrior of all time.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then he adds groomers skull to his collection of skulls.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is why Card is called, Karna Betrayer.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's because he betrayed his own legion, he betrayed his own oath, he betrayed everything in the pursuit of selfish gain.

[SPEAKER_01]: And the thing is, is that he not only is Betray's, but again, he shatters the legion.

[SPEAKER_01]: They splintered it into war bands.

[SPEAKER_01]: Angron's nowhere to be seen.

[SPEAKER_01]: Karna clearly does not care about leading anymore.

[SPEAKER_01]: He just wants to personally kill [SPEAKER_01]: as much as he can, blood for the blood God's skulls from the skulls found.

[SPEAKER_01]: So the world leaders splinter into war bands.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and this, but there's a key piece.

[SPEAKER_00]: The world leaders splinter into war bands.

[SPEAKER_00]: But these are war bands that still are aligned with corn.

[SPEAKER_00]: And are empowered by corn.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yet we careful how you read these things.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because what they talked about is all they splinter into a fractured legion.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but they actually become a menace within the eye of terror, because, and this is, I think it's hilarious.

[SPEAKER_00]: These world leader war bands become a huge menace within the eye of terror, because they don't really care about anything but killing.

[SPEAKER_00]: So they're attacking a random place to kill as many people as possible.

[SPEAKER_00]: They don't want having interest in holding it, and then it's leave afterwards, which makes actually defending against them, but more importantly, countering against them almost impossible.

[SPEAKER_00]: And over time, they turn into this weird legion where a world leader warband might be a dozen.

[SPEAKER_00]: It might be a hundred, maybe a thousand.

[SPEAKER_00]: But they're just completely fractured.

[SPEAKER_00]: They don't even talk to each other.

[SPEAKER_00]: And they're all over the place.

[SPEAKER_00]: And as each warband, because they're just striving to get as much favor from corn as they possibly can, a couple of key people, namely Abadan, come to a realization that, hey, these warbands actually can be a pretty big asset for me.

[SPEAKER_01]: And this is how I entered the lore of this, because this is how they're explained in Forty-K.

[SPEAKER_01]: in, well, third edition, especially, they really start pushing the fact that the war bands are used by all of the other legions.

[SPEAKER_01]: So, world leaders can be their own thing, but they were really pushed originally as these war bands that, especially Abadan, would pick up and use every time he needed them to be a shock trope all the time.

[SPEAKER_01]: So, you had these bands of corn, bazaarkers being pushed into whatever the fighting was the heaviest.

[SPEAKER_00]: And this is, at the Brad's point, that style permeated the Forty-K table top until I don't know when did the brotherhood is gonna code X.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_00]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_00]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_00]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_00]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_00]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_00]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_00]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_00]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_00]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_00]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_00]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_00]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_00]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_00]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_00]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_00]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_00]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_01]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_01]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_01]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_01]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_01]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_01]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_01]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_01]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_01]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_01]: Eighth or nine?

[SPEAKER_01]: Eighth or nine [SPEAKER_00]: That's, we're pretty far into the cast.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let's have some fun now.

[SPEAKER_00]: Karn.

[SPEAKER_00]: So as all these war bands are doing their thing, so is Karn.

[SPEAKER_00]: Amongst the forces of chaos, there were a few iconic phrases that permeate every edition.

[SPEAKER_00]: Death of the fall, that to the fall center, let the galaxy burn.

[SPEAKER_00]: But my favorite, I think most of those favorite, is Kill Mane Burn.

[SPEAKER_00]: Kill Mane Burn.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's Karn.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he is a man of his word.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it is.

[SPEAKER_01]: It is disappointing that Karen, however, has his trusty chain accident, he's always had, but his model has his plasma pistol.

[SPEAKER_01]: I always wish he kept the flame rather than he originally broke everything.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but to be fair, the plasma pistol's more of what he uses.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's always had that, but it's just like when you think of him breaking it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now, his ex is Gorchana, and it's not his original ex, but...

Gorchana's got a whole history.

[SPEAKER_00]: So Gorchana actually was Angron's ex, but while he was fighting the Ultramarines, it broke.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Angron has this weird thing where he says, once a weapon is broken, it means that the weapon is cursed.

[SPEAKER_00]: He believes not only should you not repair a weapon, but you also should also never inherit a weapon.

[SPEAKER_01]: I love this though, because he says that, Aaron gets his ex, not as a respect to his primar, but he wants to one up him.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, you couldn't use this effectively.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to collect so many skulls with your weapon that [SPEAKER_00]: And actually, let's take a little break on Karnia with what Karn's work here, because one of my favorite things about Karnas, Karnas and iconic characters, been an important part of the game for the beginning ever.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so as a result, GW is really dialed in on [SPEAKER_00]: What who card is and what he wears.

[SPEAKER_00]: So Gore Child is his most famous element because it's his acts, but there's actually better ones that he has.

[SPEAKER_00]: First off, he's got a just weird power armor, which is kind of mad because it's just power armor with a corn and eat fold path written on it.

[SPEAKER_00]: But it's decorated.

[SPEAKER_00]: And there's two pieces about it that I want to talk about the decoration.

[SPEAKER_00]: The first off is it's missing the left patron.

[SPEAKER_00]: And there's no reason given to why he doesn't have it, but I do have a theory as someone who builds and paints models.

[SPEAKER_00]: When something has a puldron, and an arm is either up in the air or off to the side, the seeding of that puldron on the body is a massive pain in my ass.

[SPEAKER_00]: Astronomic.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I think someone at GW was doing the modeling for carn and just got angry, trying to get, they did have them in a really good position, and showing off all the muscles, and still get a puldron over it, and then just took the puldron off and went, yeah, it's supposed to look like that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, through the garbage.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I meant to do this.

[SPEAKER_00]: I might be wrong on that, but I don't want to be.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a better thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: The other part of Karan's armor that's more important from a lower standpoint is he has a bunch of skulls hanging on it.

[SPEAKER_00]: And these are not random skulls.

[SPEAKER_00]: They also get replaced.

[SPEAKER_00]: These are skulls of the people he has killed that he enjoyed killing the most.

[SPEAKER_00]: His own momentum.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: These are his momentos of triumph that are hanging off of his body.

[SPEAKER_00]: Another key piece of Karan's armor is, remember, Karan doesn't really care much for psychers.

[SPEAKER_00]: harms armor or carn himself.

[SPEAKER_00]: We don't really know which one it is.

[SPEAKER_00]: Actually has so much corn flowing through him that he functions almost like a blank.

[SPEAKER_00]: Very, very powerful one.

[SPEAKER_00]: So much so that force weapons, the weapons used by the Grey Knights, cease functioning when they get close to carn.

[SPEAKER_00]: So a great night actually probably couldn't kill carn because his best sword would work.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because his armor works effectively like what's called a collar of corn, which is a psychic negation item.

[SPEAKER_00]: I really do wish, by the way, this was on the table top.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think it'd be funny if like it used to be.

[SPEAKER_00]: It used to be not the way I would make it so great.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's like wound him on a six.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I wouldn't do.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what it should be.

[SPEAKER_00]: That should be a great.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like if you're using a psychic bone, but you should wound on a six into corn.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because I remember like these colors of corn, what items used to block psychic powers or anything that was forced related on a trip.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's always in my thing when I look at some of the rules around carn, I'm like, I could lean into this a little bit more.

[SPEAKER_00]: But the best part of all of Carn's outfit is the helmet itself.

[SPEAKER_00]: So during the Horace Heresy, when Horace realized that Carn's a lot more reliable than Angron, but Carn's also a psychopath, [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: I love about this because Horace basically goes out.

[SPEAKER_01]: What's the best way to focus him up?

[SPEAKER_01]: And I think his original idea was he just ties a stick with a carrot on a string in front of him and he goes, well, I can use that idea by giving him a kill counter.

[SPEAKER_00]: This horn has inside of his skull.

[SPEAKER_00]: As soon as he begins an action, it's a digital readout that keeps track of everyone he kills.

[SPEAKER_00]: And it resets, obviously, when he stops killing.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I love this, because I've always thought of car and is a mix between Wolverine, Beatrix, Kiddo, and Duke Nukem.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's just how I've always envisioned him.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so this counter just starts going while car's screaming, burn, main kill, and just doing all of those things, by the way.

[SPEAKER_00]: On the record of this, Karn has so many kills.

[SPEAKER_00]: Karn himself has a separate pile.

[SPEAKER_00]: Next to his throne of all the skulls, Karn has donated to Karn.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Karn is also aware of this.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: And it's by the way, it's not a small.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's not a minimal pile.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's a good-sized pile.

[SPEAKER_00]: Corns a big fan of carn.

[SPEAKER_00]: And for those of you who don't have to do this like Brad and I do, constantly having to say corn or corn is not easy.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's gonna be a lot of edits in this cast of me having to flip those two back around.

[SPEAKER_00]: Ah, bye.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go back to the split legion.

[SPEAKER_00]: So the world leaders are split legion all over place.

[SPEAKER_00]: Karen does have a collection of the legion himself.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's got a bunch of just bazerkers.

[SPEAKER_00]: The guys with all the butcher's nails in them, the whirlwinds of death, them with Karen always the forefront are just moving around the galaxy.

[SPEAKER_00]: And what's funny about this is whereas Abadon would use members of the world leaders.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's world leader Warbans to fight with him.

[SPEAKER_00]: Harns a little bit trickier in that one.

[SPEAKER_00]: There are new, yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, there's obsidence numerous times when Karn mid-battle decides who he's fighting for are D decides their cowards.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, especially if you don't engage in melee.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, who doesn't really like to hang out with them anymore?

[SPEAKER_01]: People like the iron warriors that want to shoot from a distance.

[SPEAKER_01]: This card will turn off.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, and if he thinks that you are not entering the battle and be on one way, we're going to get to something like a key piece on that in a second here with car.

[SPEAKER_00]: But yes, exactly.

[SPEAKER_00]: Legions would go and try and enlist car and to help them out.

[SPEAKER_00]: The problem is lies Legions assumed car was an idiot.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so they would be, hey, go do the slaughter over there while we hang back here.

[SPEAKER_00]: And suddenly, Karn would either stop the slaughter more likely though he would finish the slaughter and then turn on them before they were ready for and slaughter both.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because again, skulls for the skull throne, I don't care where they come from.

[SPEAKER_00]: The only person who's been able to successfully work with Karn is Abid.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Abidans used him in numerous black crusades.

[SPEAKER_00]: And this is because Abidans knows the secret to controlling Karn, which is, do not try to control Karn.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let Karn be Karn and build your battle plan around Karn being Karn.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Abid on even has a great quote.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I forget what the book this is from, but it's about how he's been able to utilize car.

[SPEAKER_00]: He says only a full takes car and from mindless brute or rabbit dog.

[SPEAKER_00]: Under the blood soak helm, lurks in intelligence and cutting that makes him the masterful killer, trust me when I say there is a dark purpose in his madness.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is because Abbott unrealizes and it makes sense.

[SPEAKER_00]: Khan couldn't kill this many people.

[SPEAKER_00]: He couldn't be this successful if he also wasn't kind of a little bit of a military genius in his own very messed up right.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so, because Karn is a perpetual, but only so long as Karn wants him to be a perpetual.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, to be his favorite.

[SPEAKER_01]: He has to be his chosen on that.

[SPEAKER_00]: And some of the fun examples of Karn being Karn, come from Aberdon.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's the seventh black crusade.

[SPEAKER_00]: And the seventh black crusade, Aberdon wanted to weaken the blood angels by the corrupting their gene seed.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so his goal was to kind of increase the prevalence of the black rage and the red thirst within them.

[SPEAKER_00]: But we'll cover that another time.

[SPEAKER_00]: What I want to cover here is Karn doing Karn and stuff.

[SPEAKER_00]: On set of this assault, Karn and his berserkers lead an attack on a blood angel cruiser.

[SPEAKER_00]: The best way to deal with this, Karn decides is to crash his ship into the blood angel ship.

[SPEAKER_00]: At which point there's an airlock and Karn decides now there's not and cuts a hole in the airlock.

[SPEAKER_00]: After cutting a hole in the airlock though, the ship kind of collapses behind him due to the de-pressurization and its car standing inside of a blood angel ship by himself, looking up at a few dozen blood angels terminators.

[SPEAKER_01]: What was just going to say?

[SPEAKER_01]: It's not just blood angels.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's blood angels, terminators, which are the best of the best in the best armor.

[SPEAKER_01]: However, that little counter on his display from his helmet goes on and current just decides to definitely, again, click, tap his heels three times and his boots are mindy-ass kicking and goes [SPEAKER_00]: just bananas by the time the bazaar crews who were stuck behind him had carved their way into the ship, which is a few minutes by the way, cars already killed a dozen bloody alternatives and a hand inside of a ship.

[SPEAKER_00]: Caron is crew then, go on and slaughter every single blood angel, deckhand, Astropath, whatever it is in the ship, and they only leave.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Caron, of course, is the last one to leave after they were sure there was nothing left to kill.

[SPEAKER_01]: Which is so good.

[SPEAKER_01]: This, yeah, this is remember, these ships are so big.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's tens of thousands of people in [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you do this hundreds of blood angels in this and he killed all of them.

[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it wasn't him in four dudes, but it wasn't like he was there with the hen thousand soldiers.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but he's also killing every single deckhand from the mid for midship levels, which are basically cities into themselves.

[SPEAKER_01]: So he's murdering.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, man.

[SPEAKER_00]: Carnan is team, go back into the warp after this and continue to be raids into real space also inside the eye of terror and other chaos legions.

[SPEAKER_00]: But in the thirteenth black crusade, he comes back.

[SPEAKER_00]: And this is because, by the way, the thirteenth black crusade, everyone comes back.

[SPEAKER_00]: Abid on brought, brought the house.

[SPEAKER_00]: Who did he bring?

[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody.

[SPEAKER_00]: I love this one though.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, Karn is unleashed on Kadia at this point.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he and his bazookas start tearing through Kadia.

[SPEAKER_00]: They kill space marines.

[SPEAKER_00]: Guardsman, Skittars, I said they kill.

[SPEAKER_00]: My mistake, harm kills.

[SPEAKER_00]: Guardsman, Skittari, lead you cybernetic at that at one point, harm finds himself face to face with a titan and decides, I got this and takes out a titan.

[SPEAKER_00]: But his greatest achievement is actually at the end of the thirteen black crusade.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because corn, as Kedia is falling, senses a fall among the imperial forces that he has to go deal with.

[SPEAKER_01]: Pummel's hair.

[SPEAKER_01]: When I say pummel's hair, he knocks the sword out of her hands, doesn't just chop her head off.

[SPEAKER_01]: Before he does it, sorry, does actually chop her head off.

[SPEAKER_01]: Before he does this, he rips her wings off her back, talks a mad amount of crap about it, and then cuts her head off.

[SPEAKER_00]: She does resurrect.

[SPEAKER_00]: But, yeah, which she always does.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now, we skip from the seventh black crusade, the thirteenth black crusade.

[SPEAKER_00]: We skipped over a lot of stuff.

[SPEAKER_00]: And, namely, the return of Angron and the Unification of the Legion, sort of.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's because in the future, we're going to do a cast on Armageddon.

[SPEAKER_00]: I like the cast that we did in the War of the Beast, so we're going to do a cast on the First War of Armageddon, which does happen before the thirteenth black crusade.

[SPEAKER_00]: Just timeline-wise, it's easier for us to do it that way.

[SPEAKER_00]: But for now, I want to kind of get us up to about modern Forty-K.

[SPEAKER_00]: So M- Forty-One before the fall of Kadia and Grand Returns, with his return, the world leaders went from a splintered faction to a unified one.

[SPEAKER_00]: But in the final battle of Armageddon, and Grand was...

Bash the warp again.

[SPEAKER_00]: But the world leaders would continue to unify and unify and unify after the fall of Cadia and the opening of the Great Rift.

[SPEAKER_00]: Angron, all of a sudden, goes from a forgotten primarque to one of the most present chaos primarques.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is more in the lore stand.

[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about this because it's a big deal of the cast.

[SPEAKER_01]: ill because anger and used to be banished for up to millennia now he comes back he would disappear for eight days eight days months or years but it's always something eight or it could be eight minutes if you're talking about the attack in the coral engine and [SPEAKER_01]: Every time he appears, his legion comes around him.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he comes back over and over in an unkillable range machine.

[SPEAKER_01]: The more he kills the faster he would come back.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he would also bring that he could actually focus himself as a folk guy, a gate for Kei's cast.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and this is a big change in the lore because the world leaders have moved in the lore from the kind of bogey man of the past and more of a side character and somethings to actually being a leading threat.

[SPEAKER_00]: So the arcs of Omen, era and dominance, these are all actions of the world leaders specifically.

[SPEAKER_00]: Whereas, again, before it would be Abadans doing something or someone's doing something and there would be a world leader warband with them.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, anger on is now leading.

[SPEAKER_00]: Is world leaders?

[SPEAKER_00]: For what purpose no one really knows is still an anchor.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's the losing fights constantly, but they are actually a key part of the lore now.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is why we wanted to this cast on them.

[SPEAKER_00]: We're not sure if they're trying to conquer the galaxy or just spill a more blood.

[SPEAKER_00]: Who's manipulating them?

[SPEAKER_00]: Because who's just saying?

[SPEAKER_00]: Because backgrounds always being manipulated.

[SPEAKER_00]: So someone's manipulating this for some reason.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's probably Abadhan, but we will find out in the coming years with that.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think that should be enough coverage of the world leaders.

[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll get more of those, world leader fans, there's more stuff we're going to do, but it's going to be more based around individual actions they were key and do.

[SPEAKER_00]: Namely, first of all, Armageddon and that like.

[SPEAKER_00]: Next week is our one hundredth episode, which I should have planned for, but I didn't.

[SPEAKER_00]: So we're just gonna do another regular episode, but we're gonna do one on the dread pirate Roberts of Forty K.

Cypher.

[SPEAKER_00]: Cypher.

[SPEAKER_00]: We promised you all we would cover him in depth, and that was a year and a half ago.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm getting around to it now.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's one of the coolest characters though.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's changed so much or has he?

[SPEAKER_01]: He's enigmatic.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's a plot device.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's called what's life or really is.

[SPEAKER_00]: Life is a plot device.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's the only way to explain him.

[SPEAKER_00]: A good one.

[SPEAKER_00]: He hit me.

[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about it.

[SPEAKER_01]: He beat he's done a lot of stuff.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's been to the these been places that no one else has.

[SPEAKER_01]: So it'll be a fun cast.

[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think it'll be a very fun cast.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm excited.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, next week we're going to dive in more and decipher Dark Angels and then from there.

[SPEAKER_00]: What kind of good then you want?

[SPEAKER_00]: Until then, this has been John Barsati and Brad Chester.

[SPEAKER_00]: See you next week.
