David: 00:00

There's a moment in every person's life where the world tries to see what you're made of. It comes as pressure, as chaos, as fear, as uncertainty. And most people look at those moments and think, life is attacking me. But the storm isn't here to break you. It's actually here to reveal the part of you that cannot be broken. Because it's in those moments that God, life, consciousness is giving you the same opportunity the great mystics discovered. The chance to become untouchable. Not numb, not disconnected, not armored in hardness, but so grounded in who you are that the world can shake and you stay solid. That's what we're going to unlock inside of you in today's episode of A Changed Mind. Welcome to A Changed Mind, a journey into the topics that matter to you most. From the neuroscience and spirituality of mindset and personal growth, to groundbreaking strategies for health, wealth and relationships, to open and honest conversations about pressing global issues such as the environment, sensory leadership, corporate capture, and democracy. Each and every episode reminds us of the certainty of the goodness of the future and provides the teachings, tools and timeless wisdom inspiring you to create real, lasting change in your life and in the world. If you've been desiring a sanctuary for your spirit, a place to go to tune out the distraction, negativity and doom and gloom so that you can tap into the deep power, the vibrancy and the potential you have inside, you're in the right place. Welcome to A Changed Mind. What does it mean to be untouchable? It doesn't mean nothing affects you. It doesn't mean that you are emotionally disconnected. It means that you have the ability to choose your reactions. It is emotional and psychological sovereignty. And you stop being the slave of your subconscious mind and the victim of your surroundings. And as you are no longer the victim, you actually become the dominant vibration that creates reality. And one of my favorite quotes is by Paramahansa Yogananda. He wrote a book that really impacted me called Autobiography of a Yogi. And he says, the true yogi stands unshaken amidst the crashing of breaking worlds. It is only in your ability to be solid, regardless of what shows up around you, that you can intelligently navigate your reality. So we are being called to a higher level of spiritual awareness, of groundedness in today's world. The fear of inflation, the fear of this political party or that political party, the fear of financial insecurity, the fear of rejection and not being good enough, the fear of AI taking our jobs or conversely, killing us. God has given you an opportunity to Grow stronger in your resiliency. Today, now more than ever before, all of the opportunity to be afraid gives you an opportunity to become untouchable by that fear. This is the process. It's very much like resistance training in the gym. You face resistance to build more muscle. We face fear in the world to become spiritually stronger. And that strength affords us an inner sovereignty, a personal choice. Because the enemy is not outside of you. The enemy is inside of you. The enemy is your unexamined subconscious mind and the generations of fear that you have adopted. Nothing can hurt you except through an internal doorway that you leave open and you say, but, David, look, that's pretty Pollyanna. There is violence out there. I can see it. There is poverty out there. I see it every day. I drive to work. I see people who don't have enough. I see the wars on TV or YouTube. Are you telling me those people let the enemy in and that's why they suffer? That's a great question. First, I'd say, look, we don't know. We don't know what others think. We don't know what others believe. We don't know what they let in. But you do create your own reality. Whether it's from beliefs in this life or beliefs from past lives. There is a fundamental, unceasing, consistent and just law that says, according to your faith, be it unto you. That doesn't mean you have to believe in a person or a particular God. Faith is what you believe, what you believe in, that will become your reality. If you want to transform your reality, then you must change your mind. If you want to be untouchable, then you cannot let your fears touch your soul. They will always be there. You will always hear your fears and doubts and insecurities. They're knocking. But the question is, do they remain outside or have you let them into your house? Have you let them into your subconscious mind? And if the answer is yes, okay, then you must clean house. Now, the second thing, in addition to the fact that you create your own reality and we should not judge someone else's reality because we cannot see their mind, is that you must not pay attention to the experiences of others when determining what you believe about your reality. Yes, there is poverty, there is sickness, there is death out there, but is that your reality? I find it interesting when I teach people entrepreneurs, leaders that they can become untouchable, unshakable, invincible, that they point to the evidence they see of other people's experiences as evidence of their own vulnerabilities. What I'm saying Is do not pay attention to what others experience. Pay attention only to your experience. People say. But those people that they call war upon themselves. What if war comes upon me? Well, is war upon you? If it is, then that is the reality that you must interface with. And we pray for your strength in that reality. But if it isn't? Then don't use someone else's reality. Don't use someone else's karma or their journey, their resistance training as evidence of your vulnerabilities. There are many realities commingling on Earth. Do not be fooled by what you see out there fearing that it might become your reality too. Otherwise. It will. There's the story of Orpheus. He's a Greek hero. He was married to Eurydice. And Hades, who ruled the underworld fell in love with Eurydice and stole her into the underworld. So Orpheus follows them down, makes a deal with Hades. He can return with Eurydice to the living worlds, but under one condition. He must not look back at her until they are both fully outside. So on their way back up to the living worlds, he hears terrible sounds. Monsters. Gnashing of teeth. Eurydice screaming. He's about to get out of the underworld when he can't take it anymore. And he looks back, only to see that Eurydice was right behind him. Safe, no monsters. But because he lost faith, she disappeared and remained with Hades for eternity. So why am I sharing this with you? Do not pay attention to the monsters of other people's experiences. Do not fall for the Orphean illusion of reality. The gnashing, the terror, the cries of others. That is to say that you are not compassionate. Of course we have compassion. We help those who suffer. But their suffering is not your suffering, nor is it evidence of your potential suffering. Your nature is to be unshakable. And you do that through your faith, your belief that you are unshakable. You know, Henry Ford said, the man who thinks he can and the man who thinks he can't are both right. You assume your spiritual throne by assuming your right to it and reality will conform to that confidence. You stand against the Goliaths of your life like the shepherd boy, David, who stood against the giant but knew who he was, knew who he was in his belief in good, in his belief in God. And therefore he spoke his victory on the battlefield. The battle inside is the only battle there is, and you're winning it. You know, scripture talks about the helmet of clarity which you put on the moment you are aware of your doubts and of your fears. The goal is not to doubt, but to see your doubt, to be clear on the difference between you and your mind and not become it. You put on the breastplate of identity when you know who you are in good and in God, and that life is always working for your greatest growth, your greatest prosperity and your greatest evolution. You dawn the shield of vision as you look to the certainty of the goodness of your future. And you've been given the sword of truth each time. You see the lies of the subconscious mind and you cut through them with a reminder of what is really true for you. And this is the practice now. People ask me all the time, literally, don't you suffer? Don't you have fears? Do you still doubt? Of course I do. Every single day. But I understand the challenges around me are a figment of my mindset. They are a projection of my fears, designed for me to work through to become stronger. And every day I wake up understanding the game that I'm playing. It's me versus me. It's not me versus them or me versus my bank account, or me versus my wife or my body or my health. It's me versus me. And every day I play that game absolutely imperfectly, but every day I get back up and I play the game again. And that is what is building my invincible self. It is your invincible self that is being built upon the daily challenges. It is your invincible self that is being born through the transformation of your mind. And it is your invincible self that is strengthened every time you face the fears and realize that they were never real in the first place. You don't escape the world by withdrawing from it. You transcend it by becoming the one who cannot be moved. So I hope this has been motivational and inspirational for you today. No big frameworks or takeaways, just a speaking of the truth.
