Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King.

Every episode we recap reality television from the Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset, in addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or scripted as well.

Speaker 2

Babeb somebody called the police, somebody called ninety one one.

Because baby, there's a wild woman of the loose and her name is Lisa Barlow.

This episode, oh my gosh, row of applause.

I'm so to talk about episode three of this season of the Royal House Squad of Salt Lake City.

This ohc watch your bad girls.

Sunlake City is back at baby.

Listen.

That first episode I could do without.

Last week's episode about gout was everything.

I did not think episode three would top that one.

Intended if you know, you know, if you know you know, let's get right into it.

So listen.

This episode was pure perfection.

It really was.

And it was my complaint about the first episode where we did not get any lack of personal story.

This episode gave me more personal story than I thought I need it.

I first want to shout out in GK who is trying to be a citizen, and how her daughter played her and said, your obsession with Greek makes no sense to me.

I love it all.

I love it all.

And we'll get to Bronwin and her mom and father and Todd, but first we got to get in to how this episode started.

Lisa Barlow is on the loose.

Woman are found loose, loose lips, give it up, turn it loose, Kevin Bacon footloose, Aliah loose wraps.

That's all I got, Okay.

Lisa Barlaw opened up this episode showing us exactly what she does best, and that is work.

Honey.

She can work a room, she can work an outfit.

What thing we so brala can work to as a middle down hairstyle, the part in the middle is a Lisa Barlow look.

Now for the black girls, we call that a bus down.

It's the Marlow Hampton look.

So Marlow Hampton is the queen of busdowns.

Okay.

A buzz down in the black community is the part in the middle.

It's a whig or it's a week.

It's a week.

Speaker 3

You know.

Speaker 2

Marlow Hampton is the queen of bus downs.

Lisa Barlow has a buzz down too, But Lisa Barlow doesn't have a wig gone.

Although I do think it's extensions, I do think that nevertheless, we get to see her work the room.

I will say this.

I had a documentary by the name of the Stroll that was a part of HBO Documentary Films.

It was a Sundance film as well, so the film with the Sundance, so I was able to go to Salt Lake City.

This is this is like two two years ago, maybe two or three years ago, maybe three years ago.

I was in Saltat City promoting my documentary along with the amazing producers that director, and we're there and guess who I see rain drops?

I see Lisa Barlow.

Now, mind you, I wasn't How can I say this, Let me just see how I feel.

I wasn't like the biggest fan of Sallet City, which means I wasn't a big fan of the girls besides Jenshaw, if I'm being honest, Jinshaw to me was sort of like who Liam locking into Dallas Housewives?

That's how I thought like Lianne obviously did some problematic stuff when she left the show, I was like, well, there's no sister watch again.

Because she was the only forced multiplier on the show.

In the struck, I canceled.

Now when it comes to Jim Shall, I thought Jim Shaw was like the show and boy or boy was I wrong?

So I said that to say I had to go to this HBO after party because HBO threw after party for the movie and I was there at Baby, I saw Lisa Barlow put shit together.

She I guess her company was the one who was planning the event.

And I saw her in action, like moving tables, just what we saw this episode.

I saw her do that in person.

She was movie tables.

She's gorgeous in person, and she was really working it.

And this was around the Sunday's Film Festival, which is the hottest ticket in town in Salt Lake City.

It's the hottest ticket.

It's like the Oscars Honey for Salt Lake City.

So I can't corroborate that Lisa Barlow is a work.

I can also corroborate that Lisa Barlow loves to name drop.

The fact that she name dropped everybody from Usher to Forrest.

Whitaker gave me everything I needed to begin this episode.

Lisa Barlow is going to let the girls know exactly who she's around, why she's busy, why lawsuits happened to her, why she is that girl, and why we need to know everybody she's involved with.

I, for one, have to say I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed it.

Listen.

Lisa is an accomplished woman, and I like seeing her.

Speaker 4

I like seeing her brag about it.

I don't think it's a problem.

I mean, she's a housewife.

That's what makes her great television.

I loved it so shot out to Lisa.

It was nice seeing you at work getting things together.

It reminded me of our brief time together.

Although I did I go up and speak to you because.

Speaker 2

Of the show.

But listen, I'm a fan out and I'm a Lisa Barlow stan I'm a Brahma stand.

I love all the girls.

I'm a Salt Lake City stand.

Okay.

Moving on, speaking of Broadway, she informed us that her father has Alzheimer's disease, which is incredibly difficult for anybody, especially you know, a parent or child to deal with that.

And my heart goes out to Brahma and the family.

She spoke to Todd about it, and what was so interesting about her conversation with Todd.

Todd was very likable in this scene.

And I love the fact that Broadwyn decided to give Todd his flowers and said, like, I know my parents moving in with me was an ideal for you, that it wasn't something you know you didn't want, but you made it happen for me, and I appreciate you.

And I thought that was beautiful because look, a man like Todd doesn't ask for much because he gives so much.

So I love the fact that it appeared to me that these two sister reunion are having another opportunity to really work on their marriage.

Strength of their marriage.

They're now hearing each other.

Broadwind go out of her way to give Todd his flowers.

I thought it was beautiful.

And I also think she knew that Todd needed to hear that, and not only does hear it privately, she knew that he needed that to be said publicly so that the world doesn't think he's this massagynist.

At least aballa think he his job.

So I thought that was great and I just really appreciate Brahma being so vulnerable talking to the audience us about what's happening in her household.

So then we get to her her mother, Baby.

Brahma's mother is a piece of work.

I knew something was off the moment Brahmin brought the can of soda and the mother asked what was the cold and Brahma made a face like, I just got it off the fridge.

I was like, oh, there's something here, got it.

Speaker 1

This is reality with the King and I'm Carlos King.

Speaker 2

Let's get back into the show.

So then they're talking and Brahmin's mom talked about the fact that she had to go back to the house to pack up some of the things, and she was just worried about throwing things away belongs to her husband, and she got an emotional about that because those are difficult decisions you need to make, because it's sort of it's like the realization that the person who you love is no longer going to be that same person when you're dealing with somebody that has Alzheimer's, and not only that, what the chef life is for that life.

So all of that I assume was just coming at the mom all at once, and it's so sad.

It's sad to see it.

It was sad to deal with it.

It's sad to know that the father's disease is out of state where he doesn't really see Brahmin or her daughter as the sort of like adult that they are.

And it allowed us to really understand Brahmin's personal story about the fact that she was eighteen years old got pregnant and how that just wasn't something that her father of course liked.

She was in college and this happened to her, and how she just pretty much made the decisions that her father did not agree with, and how he was worried about her all the time, and the fact that in his state of having Alzheimer's, that's who he sees when he looks at Bromwin, is that girl who was around that age, and how he was always worried about her.

And it made me feel sad that she has to go through this, And it made me feel sad when you saw the mother say to Broadwin that, yeah, you couldn't get here without Todd or Todd's don and although listen, although that may be true, because I'm not going to negate what Todd has done for brom with and I don't think Brahma will ever they get what Todd has done for her, hence her telling him earlier in their one on one that she appreciates everything he is doing for her.

So I don't think it's not lost on her that this man helped her.

But I think what's happening is this for most women who are married to wealthy men and they are truly a real housewife, or they may have a job that is it contributing to the household because their husbands are wealthy, and he looks at her paycheck like, well, that's just yours.

Do whatever you want to do with it, Like child, that little money ain't gonna help me pay the mortgage, so do what you gotta do with it.

I think for most women in Brahmin's position, yes it's an accomplishment that I'm married well, and yes it's beautiful that a man came into my life and embraced me and my child.

Those are beautiful things that Todd has done, right, But I think Bronwin wants to hear from her mother, who she admitted that she always feels she needs disapproval from I think she wants her mother to say, I'm proud of you, so let's have a real conversation.

It takes a smart woman to find date, stay with, marry a rich man.

That's a skill set in itself.

Nobody wants to have a conversation.

Just like I believe the best job in the world and the toughest job in the world is being a teacher.

I feel the same way about that those jobs also being mothers.

I think being a mother is the most beautiful job in the world and the most difficult and the most challenging, and that's a real job.

Brahmi should get all the pops in the world because at the end of the day, she was a teen mother, but she was able to work her way into creating a life for herself where she doesn't have to suffer, at least financially.

Now.

I don't know what happens in the household everyday child, but that's a skill state because a lot of women, unfortunately, I mean, in my opinion, that doesn't happen for them.

It's not every day that the team mom can and mustered through and marry somebody that will embrace a child that's not there.

But Brahman did, And I think that's when you say to your daughter, Look, obviously we all felt like you made decisions we didn't want for you.

But what I must say is I love the fact that you were able to work hard, you were able to really take care of your child, You were able to really, you know, meet somebody who loves you dearly, who embraced you and your daughter, and you have really creative this life for yourself.

I'm proud of you.

And look at you now you're on TV sort of like how ke Key on Miami Housewives.

Excuse me on Miami Housewives, how her father looks at her like, look, yeah, I kicked you out, I did all those things, but look yo to me like that, look what you've done for yourself, girl, I'm proud of you.

I think Browin wants to hear that from her own mother, and rightfully so.

But baby, that mom's a trip.

I love the mom, but the MAM's a trip.

So much so when she said to her like, yeah, but get you know, Alicia, learning all of this or get used to this, because you're gonna have to deal with this with Todd.

Like Todd's gonna get awesome for his mom.

What the what?

Girl?

What the what?

Okay?

That was that?

But loved it.

Loved it.

Love the personal stories with that, love Angie's personal story with really talking about her Greek heritage with her father.

These are see I love.

Now let's get into the So Lisa Barlow decided to throw an event and she only invited who she described as the A team.

So the A team consisted of her social like bestie, Mary, Meredith, and Brittany.

And then she decided to have a lunch and the other girls and gee with me and Brown, who she considered to be on the D team, had to meet her at the lunch, so they all walk in together after meeting up and Baby.

When they walked in, they are welcomed by poster boards that Lisa Barlow and her team put together of the actual lawsuits printed out with Lisa Barlow's headshots.

That was giving Frederick of Hollywood teas.

It was a eyed, the filter was filtering, the face tuned, was face tuning.

The fact that this woman decided to print out her glamour shots and placed them on a poster board with her lossits on it where she redacted big she us to see with the word dismissed and blazing all over the copy.

This was epic in every sense of the word.

And this is why Lisa Barlow is an excellent house.

Excellent, excellent, excellent, excellent, excellent.

The woman had pictures of her and John at the jazz game.

The woman had a picture of her and John her husband on a yacht.

And then Brahma clocked in when she saw the picture of them at the jazz game.

She's like, oh, yeah, that was us sitting courtside and brons like that in courtse I sees, baby, look at the chairs those aren't.

I love this silly show.

It's so good.

Okay, So Lisa did all that.

I still don't know why Lisa decided to print out sexy pictures of her and John that should be in the hidden folder on your iPhone.

Girl, But I'm like, so Lisa says them now, and she's like, love, y'all were talking about me, and I decided to bring you guys some lunch.

So y'all can hear it straight from me about all these stories about the lawsuit.

So Brown, who went to the Kim Kardashian School of Law, decided to ask the proper questions.

She asked if the case were dismissed because you paid them, you pay them back, or is it just dismissed, which to me is a fair question.

Lisa, I don't know why she was bothered this way.

She's like, it's none of your fucking business.

Well, it's what, excuse me?

I think it is my business.

You invited me to a luncheon.

It is my business.

You went to the business center at the hotel lobby at the Hilton, printed it out, went to FedEx Kinkos, paid for the poster board to be a by Kim in size.

Then you went to Michaels, got some Arson Crafts redacted things in purple.

I think it is our business.

You went to the business center to print it out.

It's our business.

That's why we're here, that's why you're invited us.

I need to know these things.

So Lisa lost that one to me because I'm like, if you were going to do this, you why is your why are you so like ANTSI?

Why is your guard of like?

I don't get it, Like, this is an opportunity for.

Speaker 3

You to clearly, succinctly and plainly talk to us about what exactly happened, but she failed to do that.

So then Angie K who is everything, was like, look, I have questions.

This guy is saying he paid for things.

This guy is saying he bought you stuff.

You know, is it true that you owe the guy one hundred and eighteen thousand dollars?

Is it true that.

Speaker 2

He gave you a credit card with his name on it or something like that?

And then the socialite one of Lisa's lap dogs, No shame, she's a social life I live, but it was given lap dog behavior.

It was it was ruthe ruth, okay, shout out to Lassie.

So then last see the socialite was like, well, you know, they had a business together and that's why they had a car together, which okay, but I don't understand why she had to tell us that when Lisa is the one that went to FedEx, Kinko's and Michael's in the business center.

I would have thought Lisa would be more prepared.

Lisa, you failed this baby.

You look great, You failed big as you weren't prepared to answer these questions.

I think I think that's the part that's gaggingby you literally went out of your way to have her lunch to address it, and when the girls ask you questions, all you say is is dismissed.

So but prom is like, so everything that you're that says on the postal board denyed, did not deny?

Are you denying it?

It?

Also?

Is it dismissed?

She goes, no, it hasn't been dismissed.

Then why the fuck do you have dismiss written all over it?

Did we not go to school?

Like I, I.

Speaker 3

Don't get it.

Speaker 2

The claims are being denied, but she dismissed, okay, Lisa.

Speaker 5

So then Lisa's like, well, I'm gonna say it because you guys are talking about me and they're like, no, you guys talking about me and y'all were saying things about me behind my back, and they're like, well, we were talking about it.

Speaker 2

Why did you go camping with us?

Lisa Barlow then goes on to say that she didn't go camping because she was at a Ben Affleck Blake Lively and Anatric movie premiere.

Speaker 6

No, girl, you were on strike.

You could have been at the premiere.

I about to say you weren't there, but baby, you weren't at the scene.

Speaker 2

You weren't filming because you were on strike.

That's what was going on.

Baby.

You want them more money.

You wanted more money you weren't striking, and then because you were on strike, baby, yes you did go to the premiere.

Now I'll know if Steve Carrell was there two child like he was at the other things you do, but the things had been affleck baby Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick was their baby.

Because Lisa o'barlow is what that girl.

Okay, we get it.

Lisa Barlowe has never met a celebrity.

She did it, keep in her mouth to drop it out the motherfucker.

Okay, there you go.

So Lisa decided to shake the girls.

They're arguing and then all of a sudden, Meredith is trying to defend her, and Whitney's like, oh really, you were so silent at camping, a silent camper.

And they flashed back to Mary and not to married to Meredith Trum trying to defend her, saying, well pretty much, how Lisa is not then to defend herself and you know we should ask him when we see her, which is fair.

I thought that was a defense.

Mary was like, you did defend her, Whitney said, you didn't do it.

Britney is saying it.

Marreydith tried to give her a Britney child, and Maret it was like, look, Lisa, they're trying to put us against each other.

Lisa's like, I believe you, so they're good.

Then Lisa decided to shade Whitney and asked about her businesses.

Now, one thing about Whitney, She's very honest about her business feeling, but Lisa doesn't know that because she was gonna strike while hang out with Blake.

Likely, So Whitney's like, look, I had a felt business and then Lisa's like, well it was all of her TikTok and then like, your face lifts all over TikTok.

Lisa, although she said that her pression those, but it would have been better if she would have said it to her face.

But I likes that was still a good reed.

Now Lisa and Whitney are screaming at each other, like screaming.

Whitney slams her hand on the table.

She throws a napkin at her, the way Tama Judge threw a napkin at Gin on the o C.

Whitney gets up out of her seat approaches Lisa.

I'm from Detroit.

You can't walk upon somebody behind them and not get a reflex and getting slapped back.

I'm just saying I'm shocked Lisa did do a reflex.

But maybe that's how they get down st City child.

I don't know, but baby Whitney Rose aka Thorn Honey, Whitney Thorn fucked the Rose decided to appro Lisa and they we're like almost shoving each other.

It gotta address up the Whitney's like, she triggers me.

You see the camera guys in the background.

It's a mess.

Whitney walks off, the girls are gagging, And the only question I still want to know do you owe that man one hundred and eighteen thousand dollars?

I need to know what this man buying you stuff.

I need to know if it's true that you told him not to tell John.

I need to know something's going on between you and the Speller.

I don't care about Whitney's TikTok failures.

I don't care about face till the face lift.

All I care about is a mess knocked out.

I want to know if Lisa Varlow owes that man one hundred eighteen thousand dollars.

So let's hope we get that Intel and make Shif next week.

But Solid City is backbitches, and it is a ten out of a ten.
