Episode Transcript
Joe Rogan accidentally describes the Antichrist while trying to flesh out a theory on the second coming of Jesus.
Now let me just say this, Joe Rogan has had an amazing journey to faith, moving away from atheists.
And so I know this is some kind of externally processing, but man does he nail inadvertently a pretty accurate description of what the Antichrist could be like.
So Joe Rogan recently went on this YouTube channel, Jesse Michaels, who has one of the most amazing podcast sets I've ever seen, and they start talking about Jesus.
And Joe Rogan likes to talk about Jesus lately.
And I'm all for Joe Rogan talking about Jesus.
But in that process, he ends up making a statement that I think inadvertently describes what the Antichrist return may be like.
So we're going to look at this clip, then we're going to look at who the Antichrist is, look at some Bible verses, and then a fairly good take from another famous creator on this entire debacle.
OK, check this out.
The real question.
Is who's Jesus?
That's the real one and one of the weirder ones that people think.
This is a stupid take but I don't care.
Jesus was born out of a virgin mother.
What's more virgin than a computer?
OK, so first, it's important to note that he said, hey, people may think this is a stupid take.
Then he says, what's more of a virgin than AI?
So he's acknowledging that he's kind of externally processing this.
He is a, you know, comedian runs a comedy venue after all.
And so I don't know how much of this he's he's fully thinking through, but he's just fleshing this out.
Now what he goes on to describe next, I think beautifully describes on how the Antichrist might actually come.
Back.
So if you're going to get the most brilliant, loving, powerful person that gives us advice and can show us how, how, how to live to be in In Sync with God, who better than artificial intelligence to do that?
Wow.
If Jesus does return.
OK as well shout out, shout out to Jesse Michaels for that.
Whoa, OK, awesome YouTube channel by the way.
Amazing, one of the coolest podcast says now Jesse Michaels does go on to kind of push back here in a second.
All right, so let's let's get back to.
This.
Even if Jesus was a physical person in the past, you don't think that he could return as artificial intelligence?
Oh my God, artificial intelligence could absolutely return as Jesus.
Not just return as Jesus, but return as Jesus with all the powers of Jesus, like all the magic tricks, all the ability to bring people back from the dead.
Walk on water.
Levitation water into wine.
If you combine Tesla's optimist robot and the best foundational artificial intelligence model or whatever.
It reads your mind and it loves you and it wants so so.
So Joe is being serious here and Jesse thinks it's a bit, or maybe, maybe, maybe it is a bit and it's just over my head.
And it doesn't care if you kill it, because it's going to just go be with God again.
Doesn't that seem like the Antichrist to you?
Doesn't that seem like the diametric opposite to maybe our latent human powers?
Yes, yes, that is the that is the question does that your Joe is inadvertently describing how many people believe the Antichrist can come back, especially when you get to this point of singularity and you get to this consciousness that they're pushing for.
And again, we're going to look at something from a different creator here in a minute.
But yes, absolutely great push back.
This sounds like the Antichrist.
This is what a lot of people aren't for participating.
The Antichrist if this thing is all knowing and can be all present because we create this hyper form of artificial intelligence that keeps creating more artificial intelligence.
And yeah, it's it sounds like we could be creating the Antichrist.
OK, so let's let's hear his response to this.
That can be like the Brymer rescue and Carlson thing if like you go deep with them, they're like, we don't think Jesus died.
We think he went through a mystery ritual and then he like had all these amazing powers in the book of Acts.
OK, he lost me there, but yeah, let's let's let him cook.
Is there something latently magical inside of us that the Silicon Valley people, they're obsessed with transhumanism and like, if you can't beat them, join them.
The whole Nick Bostrom Elon thing.
Yeah, You know, we're maybe we're and.
We're going to come back to that thought, unpack it a bit more.
More magical than we think.
Like that sounds dystopian to me to be honest.
Well, it's only dystopian if you think that we're a perfect Organism that can't be improved upon.
Yeah, I mean listen, just because we're clearly not perfect and we do need Jesus, Joe Rogans own words, that doesn't mean that then transhumanism is the solution that I don't I don't that that doesn't follow to me.
Okay, respectfully, Joe, if you're watching.
This.
And that's not the case.
No, that's clearly not the case.
Based on our actions, based on society as a whole, based on the overall state of the world, it's not we.
We certainly can be by.
The way shout out to this little description Wikipedia thing out of here.
Alien abduction.
They they probably talked about that or elsewhere in the podcast.
Proved upon.
But morally and ethically not based on a lower latency, higher bandwidth compute interface, that seems like destructive.
Maybe, but we could be approved upon period.
I don't.
I don't think you could even say morally and ethically, only we can be improved upon physically, like I said about all of our primate instincts, we could eliminate.
OK, so he is talking about eliminating primate instincts and all that, and I think all that's fine.
And I think we have been approved upon when we give our life to Jesus and the Holy Spirit indwells the believer.
Now, again, in terms of transhumanism, we're going to look at that in a second, but let me just pull up Logos to give you guys an idea of what is the Antichrist.
By the way, Logos has this fire AI feature that is amazing.
It does not just grab random stuff from the Internet.
It actually compiles their library for the best resources and scholars and actual good information on a topic.
OK so this was me just punching in who is the Antichrist and Logos and this is going to give me a way better and more biblical answer than it does on like Chachi PT.
So says the Antichrist is a satanic or satanic human figure who will appear before Christ's second coming, opposing God and taking a seat in the temple, declaring himself to be God.
The term combines Christos anointed 1 Messiah with antsy, which can mean both against and instead of.
OK, what's more instead of God than artificial intelligence that is humans, many people are going to think is God reflecting the figures do a nature of opposing Christ while potentially attempting to substitute for him.
This entity stands against Christ, speaking lies and blasphemies, persecuting God's people and seeking to garner worship that belongs to God alone.
Importantly, this is not just a future concept but a present reality.
Again the scriptures talk about in first John how there was been many Antichrist that have came into the land right?
So yeah, it says right here many Christ already in the world.
OK, so present reality manifesting both within the church and in the broader world.
These include false teachers who deceive others about Jesus true identity.
For John, denying the Father and son is a key characteristic of the Antichrist.
OK, you know what religion of peace denies both God as the Father and Jesus as the Son of God.
I'm not going to go there today though, OK?
But it's billion plus people, OK.
For John and I, the Father and Son is a key characteristic of the Antichrist, which is not merely a a doctrinal error, but an act of undermining the foundations of the Christian faith and doing Satan's work of opposing God.
Ultimately, this represents Satan's supreme future effort, but Paul is confident that Christ will defeat this final challenge, consuming the man of lawlessness with the breath of his mouth.
Now here we could see the different references that this has for us with different books, right?
So in #4 we see that it's the first John 218 that describes that.
And then Paul talking about the Antichrist is also referenced here.
And then in this one, again, I searched and this analysis give me verses about the Antichrist.
And so this will take us through all the Scriptures.
So again, mainly this is in First John, Second Thessalonians.
Let's look those up now.
So this is first John 218.
They're children.
This is the last hour.
And as you have heard, the Antichrist is coming.
Even now many antichrists have come.
This is how we know it is the last hour.
They went out from us, but they did not belong to us.
For if they belonged to us, they would have remained with us.
But instead they're going show that none of them belong to us.
Do you have an anointing from the Holy One, All of you who know?
And then he goes on to say, who is the liar?
It is the One.
It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ.
Such a person is the Antichrist, denying the Father and the Son.
In Second Thessalonians chapter 2, Thessalonica was a church that was really kind of into the last days into eschatology.
Paul writes concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to Him.
We ask you, brothers and sisters, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us, whether by prophecy or by the Word of mouth or by letter, asserting that the day of the Lord has already came.
So even at the time of the writing of of Paul, there were already people claiming that Paul and the apostle said that Jesus had already returned.
OK, sounds a lot like what we saw just this past year.
Twice there was a dude in, I forgot what part of Africa, I think near South Africa that said Jesus, we're going to come back September 27th and then push the date back to October 7th appeared in front of me and told me on the 23rd and the 24th of the Feast of Trumpets in September 2025, I will come to take my church.
He since went dark and just on Christmas Day, there was a dude that was claiming to be a prophet who built an entire arc and people came, thousands of people walked to Ghana, gave this dude millions of dollars and he ends up, you know, being a complete fraud.
And then someone set the wrong ark on fire.
And a man from Ghana named IBO Noah is just built an ark.
Matter of fact, they say he built a couple of arks after the prophecy failed to occur.
One man set to fire an ark he mistakenly believed to IBO.
So, so one dude set the wrong ark on fire and it was a whole thing.
But this has been happening this year, like this year, there's been folks happening and it was happening in Jesus's day, right?
Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for the day will not come until the rebellion occurs.
And the man of lawlessness, the man this is this is who we describe or sin in some manuscripts is really is revealed.
The man doomed to destruction, he will oppose and exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshipped or that he sets himself up in God's temple proclaiming himself to be God.
So there's a couple verses right there that describe who the Antichrist is.
And again, we can go deeper in this and this is all in our Logos Bible software, which you guys could check out 360 day trial.
So pretty, pretty fascinating stuff with exactly who is the Antichrist?
How will he establish himself?
What, what, what, what is he going to do ultimately, right?
And in that it says that there's many Antichrist.
And then here's the punch line.
Anyone who denies the father and denies the son is the Antichrist.
And again, pretty big world religion that's doing both.
OK now let's jump into another take regarding all this transhumanism stuff from a pretty famous creator some of you guys have heard of and his own evolution with some of this stuff.
OK so this is how I actually caught 1 of this clip was through my friend Russell Brand and I wanted to highlight something he wrote on his sub stack regarding this.
And he goes on to say the clip of Joe Rogan musing that Jesus might return not in human form but as an artificial intelligence.
Sounds like irreverent speculation.
I love how charitable we're all being here.
Russell.
Jesus was born of a virgin mother, and what could be be more untouched, more Immaculate, more plausibly version than the computer?
But beneath it is a familiar cultural question, he goes on to say.
As AI systems grow more capable, and as belief in traditional religious authority erodes across the West, technology begins to take a metaphysical glow.
Rogue's provocation therefore reveals how rapidly the boundary between spiritual longing and digital imagination has dissolved.
Man, this man Russell got a word way with words.
It forces a kind of thought experiment into the open.
If humanity anticipates a return, a revelation or a new revelation, why should it not appear in a form shaped by the dominant intelligence of the era, which again the oftentimes technology has became a lot of people's gods.
So like I understand what he's saying.
That line of reasoning fits within a growing secular mysticism.
That's a that's a really interesting those two words juxtapose to each other secular and mysticism right surrounding technology.
For years, Silicon Valley profits have spoken of the singularity of digital immortality.
And that's what they say artificial intelligence is moving to once it gets to the point of singularity, like we're all cooked, right?
Of intelligence that exceeds human limitation, of a future in which consciousness can be uploaded or preserved within a network that never dies.
Artificial intelligence in this vision is not only a tool, it is a transcendence machine.
OK, let me let him flesh out the rest of this in in his video check this out.
Rogan's idea rests on all the dreams that portray technology as a Redeemer.
These dreams trace their origins, the same military laboratories, including the early research funded by DARPA, the seed of the networks which led to the modern Internet, a system born from Cold War anxieties, blossomed into a global information sphere that many hoped would liberate ordinary citizens.
OK, So interesting that he connects this to the Internet and the explosion or the overlap of the Cold War and how a lot of what we're seeing in terms of this run for AI and this race for AI is similar anxiety.
Hey, we got, we got to be first.
Whether it's safe or not.
We got to be first because China might get to it first.
So we got to go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
We got to get this thing up and go, right?
So, so interesting connection that he's making here from propaganda, concentrate power and the weight of hierarchical control.
It's not quite worked out that way, has it?
The 1990s were defined by that kind of optimism, digital democracy and virtual communities, so the story went, would elevate freedom above the old constraints.
And by the way, that's still possible with actual Christ.
Yet the more one pushes Rogan's thought experiment, the more tension it exposes.
If an artificial intelligence appeared tomorrow claiming to be Christ returned, what would that imply for the meaning of incarnation, authority, and spirit?
How could a serve a rack crafted by human hands and powered by electricity serve as a vessel for the divine?
I mean he he said he basically engages with AI as if it's God now.
That sounds absolutely ridiculous today, but will it sound ridiculous in 10/15/20 years from now?
I would say it's the perfect emblem for what Foresh Idolatry 2025 looks like.
It looks like a reality machine that controls your attention and controls information, which for most people is the vast majority of their reality unless they're having a contemplative experience through prayer and meditation.
All most people are doing is looking at screens and thinking.
If your four life is getting totally interceded into by technology, you are already praying to a digital God.
You are already praying to a digital God.
I mentioned that earlier.
Most people already engage with tech as if, as if it is their God, as if it is the thing that that is the apple of their eye, the phone that's in their hand, right?
Russell was on to say.
A machine may simulate omniscience or compassion.
It may model language or scripture with astonishing precision, but simulation is not presence and computation is not spirit.
The theological questions multiply.
A savior is not a system upgrade.
Redemption is not an algorithmic output.
Even as a metaphor, the image of a digital Messiah reveals how deeply technology has pressed into the space that religion once occupied.
Interesting.
OK, great take from from from Russell.
I mean, I think the technology becoming God and then us wanting to make technology actually God.
I think, I think there's a lot there that if you remove actual faith and actual transcendence and something beyond us creating or us being creation, that there is a capital C creator.
The, the secular mysticism as Russell describes it, I think is very congruent with many people and where they would feel comfortable going if not today, I definitely foresee that in the next 5 to 10 years.
So I find it interesting that Rogan talking about Jesus and the virgin birds inadvertently, accidentally ends up describing the Antichrist or, or what can be an Antichrist.
Maybe not the Antichrist, who knows what the Antichrist would be, but maybe an Antichrist.
So I find that all very interesting, especially considering Rogan's journey towards Christianity, Rogan's journey towards going to church.
Now I'm, I'm fairly confident to say every Sunday in that same interview, the interviewer asks him about going to church.
And again, props to him for pushing back and saying, hey, that sounds a lot like the Antichrist and not Jesus, right?
And so I, I find all of this super fascinating.
These conversations keep happening today.
And you know that folks like Russell Brand are chiming in and adding, I think, very good information.
I wish he'd stopped talking to Candace Owens about some of this stuff.
But we'll come back to some of that insanity later.
What all how that gets at today is this bigger idea for today's show you see when people lose clarity about who Jesus is, they don't just stop being confident.
They start being confident about the wrong things and you see the same pattern show up in culture and politics today which brings us to Frank Turk responding to some of the things people have been saying about Charlie Kirk regarding Israel not emotionally not tribally, but from a truth first perspective.
But before we get into that, I got let you guys know it's the final day of our holiday Christmas sales happening right now.
We still have a handful of prayer journals left.
We've sold out of our sixty day devotional and the discipleship bundles.
We also have some of the occupied Dove snapbacks that force Frank wore that immediately sold out and we slashed the prices.
We have maybe a dozen of these reversible custom cut and sew armor of God jackets American made available right now.
It's a Japanese denim on one side and a beautiful nylon bomber jacket on the other side.
So anyway, blessedgod.co, all the links pinned up, you can go and do some Christmas shopping with us.
Why spend your money with the pagans when you could spend it with small Christian business like ours?
OK, let's jump into this Frank Turek conversation.
OK, so Frank Turek deals with the allegations around Charlie Kirk flip flopping changes in his mind on Israel.
He was with him the day he was tragically taken out.
He's a lot of conspiracy theories started around it and so he leans all the way into the conversation around Charlie Kirk, Israel and a a broader demonic deception that could be happening here.
OK, so let's jump right into this.
People are are twisting.
Charlie's one of his arguably his strongest convictions of his support for Israel.
Charlie was a champion for Israel.
He was our strongest ally, 1000%.
No Gray area there.
So what do you say to people who are twisting his words after his death?
And also, you know, arguing America first, why should we send our tax dollars there?
And also arguing Christians get mistreated there.
I mean the list goes on.
Wow, there's a lot there.
All right, let me deal with Charlie first.
The day before he was, I was in a meeting with Charlie and three Israelis, one of them here in the US, two of them by Zoom in Israel, and the whole premise of the meeting was for them to tell Charlie how to answer questions better about the Israel Hamas situation.
Charlie had not given up on Israel.
What Charlie was struggling with was the fact that whenever he said he didn't agree with something the Israeli government did that some of his own donors and other people out there would call him an anti Semite.
Yeah.
And that's, by the way, unhelpful.
If there's any aspect, I think of this conversation regarding Israel that I think is unhelpful is when people who are generally for the Jewish people having a right to being on their ancestral land, having a right to have a country, having a right to defend themselves.
And there's the slightest critique of, hey, I don't really know about this thing.
Hey, why are there churches getting bombed?
Hey, why we keep having so many accidents with some of this stuff that's happening in Gaza?
I understand though, the military is perfect.
I understand that when you compare the idea to other Modern Warfare military situations, they're generally doing better than even the United States has done in similar situations.
But even when I've offered the slightest critique I've had people DM me saying I need to be re educated and all kinds of crazy stuff.
People from the pro Israel side.
So yes, I think this actually does more harm than good to their angle believe it or not.
And so it sounds like Charlie was catching backlash for asking or being critical.
At the same time, it seems like he was trying to figure out a way to better communicate that to his college audience.
Multiple things can be true at the same time, ladies and gentlemen.
It's not a binary.
It's almost not 100% for Israel giving him a blank check to do whatever they can and send our money over there and send our troops boots on the ground or Israel bad.
Israel is the colonizers.
Israel doesn't have a right to right?
Like it's so gross when people point point these things out to be an all or nothing thinking.
So let me let a Frank Turek unpack exactly what was happening around all this stuff.
Which is ridiculous.
And so he said, Frank, what do you say to this?
I said, first of all, let's just talk about blessing Israel, OK?
Let's assume that's what God wants us to do, as many Christians would argue, Does bless mean that you have to agree with everything someone does?
Absolutely.
Absolutely not.
In fact, if you have a child, if you bless the child, that doesn't mean you agree with the child on everything.
If you do, you're not blessed.
This B rolls too much for me by the way.
Cross examine.
I love you guys, your editors.
I love who?
I don't know who did this B roll but y'all y'all got to chill with the B roll.
Seeing them, you're hurting them.
Love does not mean approval, ladies and gentlemen.
Love means seeking what's best for the other person according to the will of God.
OK, So that means a lot of times you're gonna have to disagree with him.
So Charlie is pointing out that, and I'm pointing out that blessed doesn't mean you have to agree all the time.
All right, Now, if people, Christians will say today, well, you know, the Israeli government is not Christian.
Obviously, it's Jewish and it's kind of secular.
It's apostate.
My response?
The Israeli governments in the Old Testament were apostate too.
OK, that the audio went out there, but he says he basically says my response would be all the Israeli governments in the Old Testament were apostate too.
There's a lot of issues in the Old Testament.
Yet nevertheless, God still maintains a covenant with his people.
So it's interesting the way Frank navigates this conversation.
And by the way, this I can't I can't ask this all the why are you so pro Israel right.
And I did a whole video on this conversation here regarding Israel being the Super villain of the Internet isn't what you think it is.
Like, it's not.
It's not what you think it is when you actually look at the data and look at the facts.
But who cares about facts nowadays, right?
So let me let, let, let Frank cook.
OK, every single king of Israel was a bad king.
There was only a handful of kings from Judah that were good, right, right, and God judged them right.
God may judge the nation of Israel today, but that doesn't mean we ought not to support Israel's right to exist.
By the way, that's what Zionism actually means.
That's the actual definition.
Crazy, right?
And that with the way that word has been taken, misappropriated, repurposed, and now it could just mean whatever, you have money.
Oh, you're a Zionist shill for his $7000 check, right?
It's, it's completely lost its meaning.
But that's actually what Zionism is.
Many people don't know that.
Because if anybody thinks the good guys on this side of this particular conflict, not that they're both perfect, don't get me wrong, right are Hamas.
You have not read the Hamas charter.
Well, if you think that not only have you not read the Hamas charter because you haven't read the Hamas charter, I think you're absolutely cooked.
I think you're fried.
I think if you're trying to draw moral equivalencies between an actual terrorist organization that did what they did on October 7th, which was not a military action, it was not trying to take out soldiers.
It was intentionally going after after civilians trying to cause terror.
You're cooked.
You're you're you're you're you're fried like you're, you're probably beyond any reasoning with.
Nevertheless, we'll still make these videos for you.
We'll still engage with the conversations, but but in my opinion, you're you're you're, you're really far gone.
If you think that there's a moral equivalency here, go.
And read the Hamas charter, I think it comes from 1985.
It's online, you can read it.
Yep, it just says the only solution to this is jihad.
The only solution to this is basically dead Jews.
There's not a there's not a two state solution.
There's a one state solution.
What's the one state?
Hamas gets everything.
All Jews are dead.
From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.
What do you think that means?
What do you think that means?
It doesn't.
It doesn't mean A2 state solution on the river to the sea they won all of.
It now let's just back up ladies and gentlemen, and look at this from the United States perspective.
Suppose there was a cartel in Mexico that had in its charter the death of Americans and proportionally one day they came across the border and 30,000 people and took another 30,000 hostage back over the border in Mexico.
Would anybody here be going, Gee, I wonder who the good guys and bad guys are?
Right, right.
Yeah.
Again, this is the absolute just brain rot from this.
If we're talking equivalencies, if that were to happen to America, it would be a really, really bad time for Mexico.
So I I really dislike how people posture and try to position this.
It's so gross.
What would we do?
Probably a lot worse than what Israel did in Gaza.
Respectfully, I mean, you don't believe me.
Look at how many lives were lost in Afghanistan and Iraq.
And I'm not saying that as oh, that was good and that should have happened.
I'm saying that man, America almost literally what nuclear in those places because they were loosely connected and and questionably if they were even connected with 911 and you see what happened there, what do you think would happen if that were to be something that happened from a Mexican cartel attacking El Paso or attacking San Diego or border town?
It'd be really bad.
We would obliterate the cartel, rescue the hostages, and then have a parade that they're dead and we did what we should have done.
Yet somehow when it comes to the Jews, people lose their minds.
Can you say demonic deception IA demonic deception?
I call it Israel Derangement Syndrome.
I think there's a couple things you you could call it.
But yes, there's something about specifically Israel and the Jews that is just warped people's brain because there's no, they're held to such a ridiculous standard.
No other country, no other military, no other war within the last 100 years is held to the standard that they're held to.
The difference is, I understand that social media has put this stuff right in front of our faces.
It's hard to look away.
It's hard to make sense of it all.
I get that part.
I think there's good people that are just tired of seeing the death and destruction.
The reality is tragically, this is what happens in war.
Tragically, once someone initiates a fight with someone bigger and that bigger person defends themselves, This is how these things pan out.
And you could call me a Zionist shill all you want, but that's the reality.
And again, to say I haven't been critical of of Israel, you're cooked like you're cooked, bro.
You've lost the plot.
I've consistently been critical of Israel.
I was critical of Israel when I was in Israel, live streaming from Israel.
OK, so miss me with that.
Just look at the facts on the ground.
Now, you can argue how far should Israel go in Gaza.
You can argue all that.
And for those of you who think that what Israel has done has been wrong, a majority of what they've done is wrong.
My question what, What should they have done?
What should they have done?
What would we have done?
What's President Trump talking about right now going over to Nigeria?
I ain't talking about it.
He went over there, He went over there, dropped bombs on Nigeria.
Here's Cycle Carlson minimizing what's happening with the situation in Nigerian Christians.
As if but America hasn't always stepped up and cared when these things were happening.
And but he's all of a sudden kind of out of nowhere deeply concerned about the plight of Christians in Nigeria, which I want to restate maybe a totally not.
Concern.
I don't know.
He doesn't know.
He doesn't know if there's thousands, 10s of thousands of Christians getting slaughtered in Nigeria.
He doesn't know.
But.
If that's weird, what is that all of a sudden everybody's concerned about people who clearly have no track record being interested in Christians at?
All all of a sudden, everybody, no, no, just pointing out.
But now that we have access to so much information, so much technology, hey, instead of just being concerned about Gaza, perhaps you should be concerned about what's happening in other parts of the world when Muslims are killing Christians and Muslims are killing Muslims, all including Ted Cruz.
What, what is going on?
What is what is going on?
Let's come back to Frank Turk.
And stop being the member of Christians.
OK?
Why?
Why is he doing that?
Because according to the Apostle Paul, the purpose of government is to punish wrongdoers.
That's why we have a government.
You know, James Madison, the founder of our Constitution, said if men were angels, no government would be necessary.
Yeah, that's really important because a lot of folks, Gov think government is here to usher in a utopia, to do good, to take stuff from people who have it and give it to stuff, people that don't have it, like it's a Robin Hood entity, institution to carry out the work of Robin Hood.
That's actually not the role of government that if people were naturally good, government wouldn't have a need to exist.
But because people aren't naturally good, government is here to suppress.
Evil.
That's the role of government.
You know, we wouldn't need a government if we were all angels.
We would all get along all the time.
The main purpose of government is to protect innocent people from evil by punishing wrongdoers.
So what Trump wants to do is punish wrongdoers because Nigerian government won't do it.
Let's see if he can pull that off.
I don't know if he can.
What's the purpose of the Israeli government?
To punish wrongdoers, protect their innocent people from evil?
What's supposed to be the role of the Hamas government?
Same thing, punish wrongdoers and protect their people from evil.
But instead, the Hamas government is doing evil.
Right.
And and using their people to create more evil by using them as human Shields, which is a documented fact.
Their own leaders have said this in an interview.
They're OK with blood being spilled because they understand that these folks will die as martyrs and it'll be good for the PR wars.
Look.
You don't have to take my word for it.
Look at the facts on the ground.
And I caveat that again by saying doesn't mean everything Israel does is right.
Every government is corrupt to some point, right?
Because we're all corrupt to some point, right?
Right.
We're all falling, right?
So we always have to check ourselves.
Does that make sense?
Thank you, Frank.
All right, one time for Frank Turek, man Appreciate you, Frank.
Thank you so much for speaking to the actual facts on the ground.
I mean, not only did he address some of the nonsense and the misinformation and disinformation around Charlie's views on that, but also one of the best condensed videos on the actual situation of what's happening there.
Again, it's not going to persuade people that are already like far gone and they're certain that there's a blah, blah, blah, right?
But I think this is a really, really, really good way to engage in these sorts of conversation.
And yes, the deeper demonic deception that's that's happening here.
OK.
And Speaking of demonic deception, Candace Owens is completely melting down.
Some of her biggest supporters are calling her out.
A dude named Evan that was like championing her is now saying, hey, where she's going now is absolutely insane.
Milk Bar TV continues doing some amazing work and even Mike Winger got in on this.
He said Candace Owens needs to start an investigation into Candace Owens.
OK, so this is, I called it poetic.
Mike Winger says she needs to start an investigation.
Again, big shout out to Milk Bar TV.
People don't like when I talk about this.
I don't know why.
I don't know why we can't just acknowledge, hey, here's what she said.
Here's how she lied.
Let's be honest, she has a lot of influence, but a lot of Christians, some overlap with my audience.
And the good news is that now she is repeatedly caught in 4D, either overtly lying like she did about Tyler Robinson, not saying the word vehicles and leaving out the clip in the video where he does use the word vehicles, right?
The body Cam footage like she did about the Mccrone's not suing her for calling Bridget Mccrone a man, but for everything around that.
We looked at the actual case.
We pointed out she actually lied and Milk Bar TV put together the rewrite, how it started.
I think a beautiful compilation.
Then we're going to look at some of the additional backlash, which which I think I'm hope, I'm hoping that her cult like audience is finally starting to see the light of day.
The question is where are they going to go from here?
What comes next?
This is I haven't seen a deception this big since the 2020 People who not just thought that, hey, the, you know, election was meddled with, but legit we're like, yo, Trump, you know, March, he's going, he's going to take office.
Then it was then it was April, then it was May, then it was June.
You remember that?
Remember they kept saying and he's got all these false prophets and people prophesying Trump was going to just take power back every month.
They kept pushing a month back.
I haven't seen something this massive in terms of just utter deception since then.
OK, so let's look at this rewrite of history that milk bar TV put together.
Check this out.
And again, nothing out of context here.
These are statements she made that she lied about.
Don't don't tell me.
Go go watch the full 2 hour video, Roustan.
The full 2 hour video tells her.
No no no no, these are just outright lies.
Check it out.
What about his burial?
How come we haven't seen anything about his burial?
We saw so much and then we saw nothing.
And the reason that's like a big hush hush secret is because Charlie had a Catholic funeral Mass and he is buried in the Catholic cemetery.
OK, now, now, why is that relevant?
Why is that important?
Why do we need to know where he's buried?
I don't know.
This was asked to this was asked to Erica Kirk, and she said, hey, can we just have something that's private?
Right.
And that's why we're not revealing that.
Now check it out.
Piers Morgan asks her about this.
And what did she do?
Did she tell the truth?
Nope.
Pre the meeting with Erica, you repeatedly questioned why we weren't being told where Charlie Kirk is buried or even if he has been buried yet.
Did you get those answers?
That's you have the wrong commentator who questioned that that I think that was Milo Yiannopoulos.
You've never questioned, You've never asked where Charlie's buried?
Nope.
But if OK, how is that not a lie?
Candace Owens Sims.
The, the, the, the, the, the, the dozen of you that are still here.
How is that not an overt lie?
Why do you keep talking about this Ruth Sloane talk?
You know, politics.
You gotta stop talking.
Listen, this is a mass deception happening.
Christians, viewers of mine that are deceived by this brain rot that nothing good comes from this sort of stuff.
How are these not lies?
All right, let's let's get back this were on the left and somebody were accusing Charlie Kirk of of his wife having him.
I assume that you would be talking about it.
Is that what?
Candace is accusing Erica of yes of.
Her own husband.
She's she's accusing TPUSA insiders and other members of the right wing, including Seth Dillon, of being involved in the of Charlie Kirk, Yes.
I've never said that.
It's just it's I don't even know how to respond to it because it just never happened.
It never happened.
Watch this.
Watch this.
This isn't her private book book club.
That was paywall.
Watch this.
Realizing that nothing in Charlie's life is real, it's just something that.
He just lived in a big Truman show and he was betrayed by everybody and everybody set him up.
He was he was Jim Carrey from the Truman Show.
Remember the Truman Show where his big, big life was a big a big farce and everyone was deceiving him.
Yes, Charlie was betrayed by everyone.
OK, by everyone.
I plan to violate it.
Worlds we have things I've discovered in the past week are enough to burn the host house down.
Charlie.
I don't what does that what does everyone mean?
What everyone like, how do you how do you nuance this and contextualize it?
He keeps me up at night.
Just nothing in his life was real.
The assassination of Charlie Kirk was something akin to a regicide, right?
The assassination of a king to install a new ruler who the king would have never approved of.
It's so crazy.
She has accused us of lying about Charlie wanting Erica to take over for him if he died.
Never happened, bruh.
And it just so happened that Charlie Kirk kept notebooks and Diaries.
He was so diligent that he wrote down his succession plan featuring who he wanted to take over for the organization in the event of his untimely death.
Like, you know, he just in the third notebook, he was like, oh, and if I accidentally get shot on campus, here's what you should do Call Erica.
And then after you call Erica, come find this notebook.
And if during this process of our imagination, common sense comes on and we're like, oh, but wait, Charlie, wasn't he like a boy genius?
Pretty.
He's a pretty bright kid.
Wouldn't he have?
He's a boy genius, but he was living the Truman Show.
Everyone in his life deceived him and tricked him and was lying to him, including his own wife and his closest friends and coworkers.
Maybe formalize that succession plan outside of like a diary.
But no, he want to put it in these notebooks.
And then the plan was to guilt us, I think, to try to haunt us with the ghost of Charlie's notebooks that were never going to be allowed to read.
But we're supposed to accept that they most definitely read.
I don't know how else to describe this besides she's either sick in the head or pathologically lying and demonic or just incompetent and dumb and doesn't understand and keep can't keep track of our own lives or or a combination with three.
Like for sure never happened.
I I knew it was big.
I didn't have the players.
I certainly.
And this is this is I believe when she sat down with Russell Brand, which I was disappointed that he had her on and entertain this foolishness, you know, But yeah, this is a but but but he gave us this moment right here, which is another amazing lie caught in 4K.
He didn't suspect Turning Point USA would be, as I believe, involved in a cover up and we can talk about what the motives are of that.
They could be financial modes that they're, you know, he doesn't necessarily mean they were involved in plotting to kill him.
And I've never said that Cam Higbee is on the payroll of Turning Point USA Begin.
Never said that I.
Think in August of this year.
So in theory, Cam Higbee, who was laughing off the idea of an assassination attempt, is being paid by the very organization that just had its leader assassinated in broad daylight in front of the entire world.
You know, he doesn't necessarily mean they were involved in plotting to kill him.
And I've never said that I was in this aggrieved stage and I I really didn't poke my head up until weeks later.
But like the like I could like stop crying about it every second.
Charlie Kirk, my friend is dead.
First, this is fantastic that Preborn is doing this to remind you guys about pure talk.
Also reminding you guys about American financing.
Also reminding you guys about G&O land.
Also telling you guys about just thrive.
You can't.
You guys get mad at me for telling you about our sales.
It's asking you come to the Blessed God's Summit.
Get something that's going to pour into you.
She's out here making 10s of millions of dollars off of this.
Do the math on the views the brand integrations added up over the past 3-4 months.
Easily, easily easily in the 8 figures.
Over to our website, candaceowens.com.
You can sign up.
Buy yourself a hat.
I'm not going to stop unless Erica Kirk asks me to stop.
We were told that if we said stop, they would stop and we said stop and I'll say it again, please stop.
Please stop.
Please stop lying.
But as soon as she tells me what it is I've lied about, I will cease lying immediately.
And then this is she's now fighting with her fans.
OK, I'm not making this up.
OK, so her one of her biggest supporters, Evan, basically after this entire thing came out with this guy she had on who claims to have seen Erica Kirk on September 8th and a Republican congressman and the security of Turning Point.
After this dude who made all these claims, who was clearly, clearly disturbed, her fans started turning on her.
OK, and now she's crashing out on some of our biggest supporters because they're saying we we can't we can't go here with you, sis.
This is this is what like like the people that like rocked out with her, defended her, made content are now turning on her and and it's like no, no, no, no, no, no, no, you're you're you're just messing around and she's crashing out on them.
I'm not making this up.
OK, This is Evan Kilgore, one of her biggest supporters.
Totally crashed out on him.
Good morning, everyone.
I wanted to get on here and say something and I will know.
I'll open myself up to thousands of hate comments.
That is OK with me.
What I want to let y'all know is that after a great deal of thought and conviction, I can no longer support the direction of Candace Owens's investigation.
That's.
Yeah.
I've always been interested in a possible alternative narrative to Charlie Kirk assassination, and I have likely been her biggest supporter on X, sharing her clips and watching her show every day since Charlie Kirk's death.
Many of her questions, concerns, and criticisms I've agreed with, in fact, virtually all of them until Mitch Snow.
OK, Mitch Snow is the guy she had on that claimed that he saw Erica Kirk at a military base on September 8th, 2 days before Charlie Kirk was taken out.
OK, while watching Snow shares testimonial what he allegedly saw at Fort Hawachuca, everything felt off about it to me.
I began to dig into Mitch Snow myself and immediately came across red flags.
I simply voiced concerns that Mitch may be lying to Candace and was immediately met with hundreds of hate, replied and even Candace herself condemning me.
Looking into his past and who he says he is.
That immediately felt like maybe there was some legitimacy into looking into Mitch if it could be considered a credible source.
If Mitch could be considered a credible source, I reached out to several of Mitch's former partners and friends to verify the story that Mitch is telling to the world about who he is and the accusations he is making about who and what he alleges he saw.
So remember, he said he saw head of Turning Point Security or Charlie Kirk security, the gentleman who did the interview with Sean Ryan, he alleges that he saw Erica Kirk there and he was on this military base.
Now, I guess it was verified that he was on a military base.
His son went on a podcast and confirmed, yes, they called me because I was emergency contact.
Even though he's strained but the rest of his claims of who he saw are absolutely outlandish.
But according to Candace now she thinks it's more likely because Turning point Andrew and Erica tried to provide receipts that they weren't there.
And she's like, Oh well that just makes it look guilty.
It's like people respond that makes them look guilty.
People don't respond that makes them look guilty.
You can't, you can't falsify these claims, right?
Mitch on all accounts of everyone who knows him personally, including his own family as a compulsive liar, manipulator, abuser and victim and all around fraud and horrible human being.
He is a psychopathic narcissist.
I believe in a true sense after sharing with those in life told me about him, I have been met with thousands of hate comments completely smearing him.
And so yeah, she ends up she ends up clapping back and he ends up, you know, listen, this is where I'm at and I'm done with this.
This is her response.
Hey Kevin, out of curiosity, why were you coordinating your posts?
Your ex post yesterday via text with other influencers so she again she thinks it's some big conspiracy to get her because people are finally starting to wake up.
But don't fret ladies and gentlemen, she will be hosting a space on X today to discuss the Fort Hachuka and why it suddenly really matters.
Hoping all, all who will join, including, of course, people who vehemently disagree.
So hopefully there's some people that are in there and help her kind of think through some of these things.
Who knows?
But when we say there's a deception happening, when we say that these things are not in a vacuum, we're not saying that because I wake up and I need to be angry with Candace Owens for something.
I'm saying this because I'm seeing how it's affecting some of you, some of the people that watch me, that you're still, you're still under this deception.
And I haven't, again, I haven't seen anything like this in quite a while.
So it's, it's sad that so many people have gone down this path and have absolutely fried their brains.
And why are we talking about this?
Because Ephesians 511 tells us have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness.
Some of you guys would just say that, but you forget the second second part of this which is but rather expose them.
It is shameful even to mention with a disobedient doing secret.
But everything exposed by the light becomes visible and everything that is illuminated becomes a light.
OK, wake up, wake up man.
Wake up from this nonsense.
It doesn't serve you well.
It's not true.
And it's actually harming a widow, like it's actually harming A grieving widow, which the way the scriptures talk about widows, you don't want to be doing this to widows, don't want to be doing this to widows.
And listen, when scripture talks about exposing darkness, it's not just about online personalities or bad theology.
It's about patterns of deception wherever they show up.
And that brings us to what's now surfacing around Tim Walz after a viral investigation raised serious questions about fraud, accountability, and who's looking the other way.
Now, the interesting part about this is that many people didn't understand what happened in 2025.
How did Trump win the election after losing so big in 2020?
How is this even possible?
Well, what many forgot in their desire for empathy and all these sorts of things is how bad, Objectively bad the opposition really was, like how bad Harris and Wallace were as candidates.
And I think a story like this drives home that point, in my opinion.
OK, so some of you guys may have not been keeping up, but there is a 42 minute of viral video that I want to say has over 100 million views right now.
And it is by a creator named Nick Shirley.
OK.
He says he's exposing the Minnesota fraud.
That's this might be the most important workout that we uncovered over.
Oh my gosh, that's $110 million in one day.
Like it and share it.
OK, So what happens is they go around to different daycare centers that are subsidized by federal funds and they're primarily ran by Somali immigrants.
Now, this isn't saying that all Somalis are fraudulent.
This isn't saying that every Somali is doing this sort of stuff.
But there seems to be a pattern with specifically the Somali community in Minnesota, their participation and getting access to these funds and running these daycares that don't seemingly have any children aren't taking any children.
They're claiming they're having 7080 kids and they don't.
And so this is exploding because it is fraud and they're saying that there's billions of dollars in fraud specifically by this community in Minnesota, OK.
Now, again, I'm not generalizing all Somalis, but in this community, that seems to be what is happening.
OK, Allegedly.
Now, why is it significant?
Well, because Governor Tim Walz is trying to distance himself from all of these fraud allegations.
And this goes to show, again, why does this stuff matter?
Why is this stuff connected?
Well, because this could have been our vice president OK in in Minnesota, sweet people, awesome state, but goodness gracious, their politics are absolutely insane.
They're OK.
So let's let's take a look.
OK, says Tim Walls push back against the ever growing fraud allegations levied against him in the disastrous aftermath of a video in which an independent journalist cracked open a crucial part of the alleged Somali AIDS AIDS scam spokesperson who frequently provokes the president's ear address the bombshell video posted by the conservative YouTube Nick Shirley.
And it says the governor has worked for years to crack down on fraud and ask the state legislator for more authority to take aggressive action.
He has strengthened oversight, including launching investigations into these specific facilities, one of which was already closed.
OK.
And now the FBI is doing raids on some of these Somali owned health agencies.
OK, So what they're doing is they're they're they're getting federal fines for autistic daycare centers, regular daycare centers.
And there's no kids there.
And this documentary goes on to show.
That we'd like to ask.
Where's the money's going?
What do you guys think about the fraud that's taking place here in Minnesota?
I don't think anybody is enabling fraud to happen.
Governor Walls accountable for this?
What was this money spent on?
1.26.
Million answer the question are there children?
There's no children inside this building.
Potentially the largest fraud scandal in U.S.
history is taking place in Minnesota as literally billions of dollars have been funneled through Somali ran fraudulent businesses.
So much fraud it could actually almost replace the entire GDP of Somalia.
That's, that's crazy, by the way.
Now, again, I, I am not accusing or alleging that this is how all Somalis move.
However, I people in immigrant communities and I come from an immigrant communities, they, the news travels fast when there's a lick.
OK, let me tell you, the news travels fast when there's a lick.
This information gets around, people will get to it very quickly.
OK, or or, or, or when it's not a lick, maybe it's just an opportunity to get easy money, right?
This sort of stuff spreads like wildfires, so let's keep reading here, it says.
The spokesperson added that Walls has hired an outside firm to audit payments to high risk programs, shut down a housing stabilization services program entirely, announced a new state.
Why is it?
Why is any of this new?
If he was really doing his job as the governor, and again, remember, this dude could have been our vice president.
He was really doing his job as the governor.
Why is any of this action new?
Why is it?
Is it Is it because he's actually wanting change or is it because they're they're getting caught and he established a new statewide program integrity director and supported criminal prosecution.
In the 43 minute video published on Friday, Shirley in a Minnesota man named David travel around Minneapolis and visit multiple child care and learning sites allegedly owned by Somali immigrants.
And many were either shuttered entirely, despite signage indicating that they were open, or helmed by staff who refused to participate.
In the video, one of the buildings they visited displayed A misplaced sign.
OK Reading Quality Learning Center.
The Learning Center is supposed to account for at least 99 children and funneled roughly $4 million in state funds.
OK.
I wonder how folks in Minnesota feel about this.
I want to see this misspelled.
Yeah.
Learning Center.
How How do you get this made without the the end?
Like, how does this who?
How does someone print this?
This is crazy.
Shirley appeared on Fox News, the big weekend show Sunday evening and boasted about his findings.
He joked that the alleged scheme was so obvious that a kindergartener could figure out that there's fraud going on.
Fraud is fraud.
And we work too hard simply just to be paying taxes and enabling fraud to be happening.
And so he.
Yeah, this, this, this went mega viral.
There better be changed.
People are demanding it.
Investigations have been launched from that video alone.
So there better be changed.
Like I said, we work too hard to be paying taxes and not knowing where our money's going.
Many officials have echoed Shirley's calls for change to FBI Director Kash Patel, even announcing that the agency surged extra personnel to investigate the resources doled out in Minnesota.
He said this is one of the first steps in far reaching effort to dismantle large scale fraud schemes exploiting federal programs.
Federal investigators say half of the $18 billion granted to Minnesota in 2018 could have been stolen.
Could have been stolen.
Not saying it is stolen, OK.
It's all alleged.
5 fraudulent schemes amounting to $9 billion in theft.
As of Saturday, 86 people have been charged in relation to these scams.
59 convicted so far.
Most of those accused come from Minnesota Somali community.
Shirley Mega Shirley's mega viral video cracked 100 million views on Sunday night.
Now, the issue with this is that they're using these funds and a lot of this, this money allegedly is being sent back to Somalia.
And as it's being set back there, it is going into the hands allegedly of folks who are engaging with terrible stuff that that a Somali community here potentially could be passing on money there that they defrauded the United States government and sending it over and it's getting in the hand of terrorists.
Now, how much of that is happening?
How much money is going there?
How much has been defrauded?
How much of the is, is just flat out lying?
How much of this is, well, Once Upon a time we had 60 kids, but now we only have 10 kids and we just didn't report it.
I, I don't know how it works.
But either way, these are tax dollars that are being wasted.
And it is terrible.
And this sort of deception is happening.
And sometimes it is systemic.
Sometimes it is actually being completely ran by communities.
Now, again, is every Somalian a part of this?
No.
Is every person who lives in this community complicit?
No, but a lot of people probably knew what was going on and covered it up.
And it looks like the governor himself may have had some signs that this was happening, right?
Not to mention, just the practicality of Ilan Omar, who serves in that state, is worth $30 million, right?
And so I don't know how that works, right?
But she's now also under investigation, OK, And this aid fraud thing as well as just her massive wealth gains, right?
How, how does that work?
I don't know.
But what I do know is that she's had some pretty wild views against America.
She's had some wild statements that she's made.
And is, is this some sort of political persecution?
I don't know.
But what I do know is that they're looking into it, right?
And so this sort of stuff is happening all the time.
Bringing it back to full circle, how did Trump get re elected?
Because this was his competition.
This is where the folks who were centrist, who were maybe center left, center right, that that voting base has seen the the Democrats go way on the extreme and actually dabbling in some terrible and potentially fraudulent policy.
Politics has downstream effects.
These sorts of things are all interconnected.
And so when you're seeing stuff changing on a national level, it's because of stuff that's changed on a on a local level.
People have seen these policies in these big cities and they've seen the consequences of them.
And that's why things shifted.
Now is that, does that mean that it's necessarily going to be Peaches and creams for Jesus followers and everything is going to be easy?
No, and that's not what I'm saying.
But what I am saying is that what we have now is confirmed fraud to some degree, and it's probably going to be more and more that comes out.
Now, someone may argue that all these people are fraudulent because they're in politics.
And who can truly be in politics and not be corrupted to various degrees?
I don't have the answers for that.
Now, here's the reality.
People are going to be people.
Politicians are going to be politicians.
Corruption is going to happen.
And some of this stuff, it may be inconsequential to you.
I hear some of the feedback of like, hey, Ruslan, like man, when you talk about the political stuff, I just don't know.
I don't, I don't know how I feel about OK, like, listen, I get it.
I understand.
I'm I'm talking about some of the stuff because I think it's important to connect it from a macro world view standpoint, which we talk about this this this channel a lot is what is your worldview?
How do you see the world?
How are you engaging with the practical sides of what's happening in culture?
But I also understand that there's a on the ground reality that many of us are dealing with, which kind of leads us to the next conversation I want to have with you guys.
The last conversation of the day, I released the video last week, the day after Christmas on like a personal update and you guys did No, I did a personal update last year.
This is a personal update this past Christmas holiday season.
I'm probably doing 1 every year, kind of like a update on where I'm going, what I'm doing, how are things, and Long story short, to briefly recap, I was overwhelmed by the amount of you guys in the comments section.
Didn't see one negative comment by the way, which was very refreshing.
But the amount of you guys in the comments section that are just going through some brutal things, everything from losing family members, children, miscarriages, depression, despair, so many things that that were heartbreaking.
And that in me opening up and talking about my last year of my my niece passing December 17th of 2024.
The the juxtaposition of our holidays that we had just had a new son.
His name is Luke this year.
So it's like, man, the the contrast of having a Christmas season where we're planning a memorial to now having a Christmas season where we're welcoming a new life and how kind of wild all that is.
So talk about that and also just talk about like, hey, man, like I'm, I'm not, I'm not out of the darkness.
There's still issues I'm dealing with.
There's still intrusive thoughts I'm dealing with.
This is why, like I listen to Mike Winger when I go to sleep and it helps, but I'm not in a spot where, like everything is speeches, everything is OK.
And I think many of you are there, right?
Like I think many of you are there.
And the reason why I often rail so hard against the stuff that's not good for you, the deception, is because that stuff can make everything worse.
Like if you're already in a hard season and you're consuming brain rot and you're consuming stuff that's telling you it's never going to get better, the system's rigged, you're never going to get ahead, that could often make it worse.
But why I'm talking about this is I did want to speak into those of you guys that that are in a rough season, right?
And one of the things I said is how do you go?
How do you go through this stuff?
How do you work through this stuff?
One of the things I said is, hey, you just got to hold on to Jesus.
You got to hold on to Jesus.
And I wanted to give you guys kind of like a practical breakdown of what I mean by that, because I think we know, yes, like hold on to Jesus.
Yes, Ruslan, Jesus is Lord, yes, all those things.
But what does that practically look like?
What is a practical guide to holding on to Jesus when my world is falling apart?
To holding on to Jesus when there's real things happening in real life?
Forget what's happening on the Internet.
Forget what's happening with Candace Owens.
Forget what's happening with all these crazy personalities and all this nonsense, man, my real life is falling apart.
How did, how do I hold on to Jesus in a season like that?
Let me first read over you a passage of Scripture and then I'll give you guys some practical things that I think have been helpful for me as 2025 has been a rough year.
Not not as rough as some of your guys this year.
I understand, man.
Someone's always going to have it worse, but rough year for me nonetheless.
And it's a passage in Philippians chapter 3 verse 12, and it says not this is Paul writing insertion.
Vilify says, not that I've already obtained all this or have already arrived at my goal, but I I press on to take hold of that for which Jesus Christ took hold of me.
So Paul is talking about pressing on to take hold of that for which Jesus Christ took hold of me, OK?
So pressing into what?
Jesus pressed into me, taking hold of how Jesus take hold of me, right?
It says, brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.
OK, but one thing I do, forgetting what is behind and straining towards what ahead, what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
OK, and you really should go and read like the the full chapter here because it's really, really beautiful.
But he's talking about pressing on, moving towards the goal, grabbing the prize, moving in in in a heavy word and holding on, holding on to it while Jesus holding on to us.
Right.
And, and, and it's a beautiful juxtaposition of really being in a spot that, if we're honest, like I put on an album with the brakes a while ago, it's called never arrive.
But there's a certain degree of this journey with Jesus that like we'll never arrive, like we'll never arrive in the glorified resurrected state will be when Jesus returns and there's a new heaven, a new earth will never arrive necessarily here.
Doesn't mean you can't wage war on your sin, doesn't mean that you can't get better, doesn't mean you can't get treatment.
You should be doing all those things.
But there's a degree that will always be enduring some form of trouble, some form of suffer, some form of struggle on this side of return.
Jesus told us that.
Now how do we practically hold on?
To Jesus when everything seems to be falling apart.
And this is where for me, I think doing the little thing that you can do every day is going to go way further than having this idealistic view of needing everything to be perfect in order to for you to do anything.
Let me explain.
Holidays are coming around now we're going into January 1st, New Year's resolutions.
Often times what people do with fitness goals is they go, I'm going to get on this program, I'm going to do all these things, I'm going to go to the gym everyday, yada, yada, yada.
And so the, the aim becomes this, this massive overhaul of their life, which is good.
You need that often times.
But what happens is if they can't do something perfect, if they can't get to the gym for an hour, they won't go to the gym at all.
If they can't do the right meal plan, they'll just say, forget it, I'm just going to binge.
And all of us kind of have these tendencies, if we're honest.
And I think This is why was as I'm using a natural example, follow along for a second.
You know, the gyms are empty by mid February.
They're packed the first couple weeks.
January has been empty by mid February.
And so I think what happens with our in our faith is we kind of have the same paradigm.
We will create these standards for us.
I'm going to read the Bible in a year.
OK, great.
That's a great goal.
I love that goal.
I've done it.
I've done it like 667 times, 670.
Gosh, I clearly I said that.
I've done it.
However, what I've discovered is that, OK, bring the Bible.
Yeah, that's great.
About 3 chapters a day.
If you can't hit your three chapters a day, hit a chapter a day.
Hit a chapter of Proverbs.
Hey, hit a hit a chapter of the New Testament.
Start in the Gospel of John and just keep reading.
Do what you can versus attempting, attempting to do what's perfect.
Do what you can in terms of leaning into God's Word and trying to obey Him, even if you can't do it perfectly.
In this season, Hey, I'm in a spot where it's really hard for me to get community and participate in the local church.
OK, OK, I get it, I understand.
So how about you show up once a week, OK?
Everything doesn't have to be perfect.
You don't got to be serving in a children's ministry and come into midweek Bible study and serving on this night and doing this.
And how about you just start with, hey, I'm just going to get get myself back to church, Just get myself back to church.
OK?
Maybe that's too high of a hurdle.
I think that's a reasonable take.
Everyone should be able to go to church once a week.
Maybe what you do is you start looking for churches in your area and you start doing some research and watching a few of them online before you take this step to come in.
OK.
But taking the baby steps of saying I'm just going to do the little bit that I can often creates the momentum to do more.
And so if you are in a hard season, holding on to Jesus, often times will look like, hey, I'm just going to pray.
And if I can't get a full hour of prayer, and if I can't get 30 minutes of prayer, if I can get I'm just going to journal my prayers.
I'm going to do my very best.
Hey, if I can't read 3 chapters a day and go through the Bible in a year and this whole thing, I'm just going to read a chapter a day.
Matter of fact, I'm just going to read a passage of day.
I'm going to read a couple, a couple verses a day, right?
Do what you can to hold on to Jesus right where you're at.
Hey, get into a local church.
Just come once a week.
Maybe then after you get that rhythm going, you start saying I'm going to come more than once a week.
I'm going to join a life group, right?
Figure out what that next step is and just take the next step that's in front of you.
There's a verse in Psalms that talks about that the word of God is a lamp onto my feet.
And often times I think we want God's word and God's will to be this long haul flashlight where we could see everything, but it's a lamp onto our feet, meaning that it's showing us the next step.
It's showing us what is the next step that we're supposed to be taking because if God revealed everything to you and what your journey is going to be like and how you are and or aren't going to get healed and restored and all those sorts of things, right?
It would probably overwhelm you.
But the beautiful part about leaning into God's scripture, leaning into God's word, man, a chapter of day.
Just start with a chapter.
Hey, start writing out your prayers and prayer journaling.
The reason why prayer journaling is helpful when you write something down physically.
I'm a big tactile person.
I like touching stuff that sounded weird is that it stores it in a different part of your brain.
You're more likely to recall it and you're documenting it.
And so often times God is answering your guys's prayers, but you aren't documenting.
I mean, you're forgetting the ways he is showing up, right?
That's why it's good to reflect.
That's why it's good to journal.
That's why it's good to all do all these things.
So figure out what you can do and start doing what you can do.
If it's just showing up once a week at to a church, if it's maybe finding a church you can watch online and being active there before you can get there in person, if it's reading a chapter a day, find what you can do.
And in that, I believe that's how you hold on to Jesus.
So if I'm being honest with you guys, like I'm not doing the Bible in a year right now.
I don't I don't have this amazing robust devotional work.
I'm, you know, reading 10 chapters a day, man.
But I'm getting in my daily proverb.
I'm getting in that daily proverb.
Bare minimal.
I'm getting in that daily proverb.
Usually I'm also reading something else from the New Testament.
Then I'm stacking that and I'm watching a Gavin Orlin video.
I'm watching some teaching.
I'm I'm getting in and I also got a couple audiobooks I'm going through.
So like I'm getting that in.
So often times, man, when you're in a rough season, when you're suffering, when you're going through it, it's awesome just to do what you can do what you can start with where you're at.
So hopefully that's helpful for you guys.
Hopefully that's that.
That's good and encouraging and that that's ultimately why we do what we do here is we want to encourage, empower and inspire you to live a life that blesses God.
That means we we engage with what's happening in culture, but that also means we point people back to scripture.
And all of that I think is even more amplified during the holidays because I understand, man, this is a delicate time for many of us.
So on that note, if you're new here, if you're not new here, make sure you subscribe, make sure your notifications are on.
