It was thrilling to be in the front row to watch history unfold, even if I did have to get up at three am most mornings.

But all the time I was delivering the headlines, I wanted to go further than the news of the day.

I wanted to talk about the ideas behind it, to spend more time with the people shaping our world.

And that's what I'm doing here on this podcast from Bloomberg Weekend.

I'm clear, and our manifesto was clear about our position on recognition cultural figures like Succession creator Jesse Armstrong.

You are writing about that world of the super rich again, and there's a sorry.

Well I wondered why I believe I'm doing it because I'm interested in the power, not the money and shonder rhymes.

How did you feel about Bridgerton being described as woke?

I didn't know anybody described it as woke.

The Telegraph called it pandering to woke casting.

Well, that's not cute.

This is going to be a place where every weekend you'll hear one essential conversation, but I hope that it's also going to be a place with head, heart and soul, personal conversational exactly.
