Crazy AND i was looking it up BECAUSE i was curious because he did have this weird power outage or at least not power but home run outage early in the.

Season SO i looked it.

Up so From may twenty fifth To august twenty, fifth which is three, months which is half the baseball, SEASON i think it's almost four hundred played appearances he had in that, stretch he had seven.

Homers so over a three month, stretch hit seven.

Homers in the last three weeks Since august twenty fifth to, now the last three, weeks he's hit eight.

Homers so, like the dude can go on some crazy.

Heaters and you, know we talked about it.

Before it's been kind of a weird year with the entire offense and kind of a lack of homers and you, Know Marcel azuna has an homer in a, month and you, know for a long, Time olsen's like twenty two to twenty three homers led the.

Team now he's up to like twenty six twenty.

Seven but it's just really good to.

SIDE i really want to see the homers come back to the.

Offense we've talked about it a.

LOT i think it's a very critical part of the offense that has gone, missing and it it really helps to have homers when you have streaky, hitters because you just don't need seven or eight guys hitting when you're hitting, homers you don't need.

That and that's that's the KEY i think The braves need moving into next, year got to get more.

Homers it obviously starts With, Olsen acuny And.

Riley so Watching olsen And acunya kind of get hot in the last couple of weeks with homers has been a tremendous.

DEVELOPMENT i, Agree and you know we've covered so many times how twenty twenty four was a down offensive, season particularly compared to the previous, year which was the ultimate of high.

Highs but even, then to your putting my home, runs The braves finished fourth in the majors in home runs in twenty twenty, four even in a down season for their, offense they hit home.

Runs the way they that they built this, team they have to hit home.

Runs it's not.

Negotiable and coming into tonight they were, FIFTEENTH i think in home.

Runs and that's not, like you, know they're not dead, last but fifteenth is really bad for the way this team is.

Constructed they have to hit home.

Runs and you, know maybe you could Say olson as what Just olsen has been the literally the best Person bace been in baseball this, year you would hope for maybe thirty five to forty for him versus twenty, six twenty.

Seven like that's fair to put out, there but he's not alone to your, point like it's everyone's got to hit home, runs and basically no one has had like an above average home run season for what they could be in the.

Future Like ronnie you, know has was out for a, while all the, Things, Oh zuona's power went.

Away riley's been below what you would hope for him power, Wise LIKE i.

HAVEN'T i haven't looked it.

UP i guarantee you every single player on the, TEAM i think every single player on the team hit the under whatever they're over under was at the beginning of the.

On but it's just worth emphasizing on a day like On monday would have hit a bunch of home.

Runs there's even after, that there's there's still fifteen to sixteen in majors and home, runs and that's.

Anymore like these guys are professional, athletes and when you talk about them not, caring you're talking about their.

Game but when you start getting into like PLAYER x doesn't care, anymore player why is you know he's checked?

Out that stuff is out about because now you're now you're getting into like the character of the, person AND i JUST i get really sick of that.

PLUS a negative SEVENTEEN wrs was zero.

Walks it's hard to get to a negative over that large of a sample when you're playing every.

Day he's got he had like a one forty eight on base, percentage which is.

We did share that briefly On.

Sunday like again there this is what this is one of a situations where really helps to take.

Walks you don't have to be a twenty percent walk, Right, Like i'm not saying you got you gotta be pro former racoonyan and take a.

Time it'd be helpful if he.

Was but like you basically can't have a one obi AN obp and in the one hundreds if you take any walks in.

All correct, Correct but that is that is the importance of is they sustain you during bad.

Streaks and that's what people that's what like casual fans don't, understand is that like even When acunya went through his like when you take, walks like like When acuna had his worst month In, august he had like a ninety six W rc plus be like a three sixty on base percentage because he walks fourteen percent of the.

Time, like even when you're not, hot walks sustain your production and they they they create a floor that you're never gonna drop.

Yeah bias is a good example of a player who bottomed out entirely at the plate because he doesn't take walks like and he can have hot stretches.

Still even this year he had a couple of hot stretches where it's, like, oh Hovey, bias he's.

Back and then you look up and he has two percent walk rate and His demarcy plus is like eight in the, eighties and it's, like, well we're back to Being Hobby bias.

Again.

YEAH i made The Hobby Bias harris comparison a couple for a couple of.

Times but they have they have actually have a ton of like they came up as these elite defensive players at elite defensive, positions tons of, power but they had questions about plate.

Discipline It it quite literally Ruined Hobby bias's, career like he was on his way to being A mvp level.

Player you, know he had like multiple four win seasons early, on and then it just slowly just descended into you, know he back to eighth a lot of the.

Time, now like this this is a thing that.

Does it doesn't end, careers but it will knock you down multiple levels from where you thought you would.

Be and that's WHAT i worry about With mike is that like this is gonna get so bad where he's just he's barely even like a starter level player is like hobby.

Bias, unfortunately, yeah hopefully.

Michael BUT i was EVEN i wasn't gonna bring it, up but THEN i saw that number of four walks and foreigner played, appearances and it's LIKE i knew it was, bad and that's worse THAN i.

Curve but he threw seven innings WHICH i was legitimately shocked by in a spot, start but struck out nine like missed a lot of, bats got, good moved on his pitches like he's got an arsenal to.

Him there's a reason why this guy is like a major, Leaguer like he's got.

Stuff what do you make of?

This did do you care at?

All is it just one start you're like shrugging about or is it like maybe there's something?

Here this is what.

The braves should have been doing this and then they have kind of they did it with some veterans that have zero, upside but like they should be taking guys like, this and they did it With wins AND i think it's worked out decently.

Well we're like guys who still have room to be.

Better like Cal quantrell has no room to be.

Better he is exactly what he is and was never going to get better and it's only gonna get.

Worse but guys Like Joey, Wentz Jose, suarez who have, stuff who have some, pedigree who've had some levels of success at a pro, level you, know why?

Not why?

Not just see you, know you catch lightning in a bottle all the.

Time SO i love.

That this is WHAT i want The braves to.

Do LIKE i really thought they might shut Down waldrip at some point just because he's thrown so many.

EATINGS i thought they might shut Down strider at some point just to let him start his off.
