Man, t you know what I'm saying.

You know you had the gym in the O five twenty.

Yeah, we ain't seen the gym like this though.

Speaker 7

Nah.

Speaker 3

Yeah, made me rethink my life.

Everybody in the gym with this man off camera showing love.

Listen, man, we don't put them to the hospital.

Speaker 3

Game.

Speaker 1

We done got a full glimpse of Oklahoma for shore Man.

What's theF being a man in your hometown?

Speaker 2

Man?

Oh man, it's it's cool.

Speaker 6

I mean, I still don't necessarily consider myself to man, even though, like y'all say, I mean I do walk around and kind of feel like a little bit, but I just man, just it's nice.

Speaker 2

It's fun.

It's it is what it is.

Speaker 5

I love it.

Speaker 2

We love a humble KB.

Speaker 4

We was at the game, man, Oklahoma is lit, but like it was like a little background you growing up here, though, Man, what's the cause you know how to ask my question, where the where.

Speaker 5

Do you know what schools is at?

Speaker 2

Yeah?

Speaker 5

You know what I'm saying.

So how was it after the demographic?

How did you even pick the school that you went too far?

Speaker 6

I mean really the school I went to just basically was because of my school.

I mean where I lived at Okay and so the district that I lived at that was going to go and to Norman North anyway, So that's kind of how I picked it.

Speaker 5

But I mean there's only two here in Norman that I would have went.

Speaker 4

To, Okay because you know, I was just saying to ask you that, because you know nowadays kids automatically well once you get like I don't know how if you was right high or whatever, but they want to leave like they surround the areas.

Yeah, bro, I always talk about like staying where you love basically and kill something in your hometown.

Speaker 6

So well that was the thing, like my senior year.

So after my junior year, even all the way.

Speaker 1

Through it, it was the thought that I was going to go to Marlborough and play for coach Boyle down there.

Speaker 6

So I was going to go down there and play for him.

My mom went down there and lived at the campus and everything.

But after my junior year, I went and one peach jam that summer, and I ended up feeling like I didn't need to leave to go be a mid Donald's All American and there it is be able to have.

Speaker 2

I mean, all.

Speaker 6

The schools really want me because I had all the office at that point, So I didn't really feel like I needed to leave to go get everything that I wanted, you know what I'm saying.

And I knew if I stayed here and it worked out the way it did, UH, that I would have a lot more love staying home.

So I mean, I think I made the right decision for sure.

Speaker 2

Man list, you're talking about that PGM.

That Squitty was crazy?

Oh yeah, sure that was.

That was That was an unbelievable time.

Speaker 5

Now did y'all rig that?

Or was that it was that organically?

Speaker 6

No?

Speaker 2

That was that's that ship was organic.

Again.

Speaker 6

We took We took a lot of l's our sixteen U when me and Mike were sixteen, we played up and played seventeen and UH was getting our heads beat in a lot.

We played UH.

We played a few games.

I mean, we played Houston Hoois with Fox.

We played Saint Louis Eagles with Jason Tatum when we were sixteen.

I think we lost that game, but we was always competing and uh we uh even Georgia Stars.

Speaker 2

Won it that year with Wendelle Carter and you Dook as a bookie.

Speaker 6

They were really good, and uh, within our seventeen years just felt so so easy.

But we were all the same age, and uh, some guys were playing up at that.

Speaker 2

Point, and so we just felt like we could win no matter who we play.

Okay, I wanted to talk about high school.

Who's here?

Speaker 3

So when I first tapped in here, when we first got here, you know, I talked jump to everybody.

Speaker 2

I talked to you a little bro.

Speaker 3

I talked to everybody, and they told me your junior year, bo, y'all made it all the way to States, and y'all made it all the way to state finals.

Y'all had a squad, and y'all lost on the last second shot, Like, can you go through that game?

Speaker 2

Tell me what happened?

Speaker 3

Because they told me you was averaging like around twenty three twenty five.

Speaker 2

Yeah, Well that actually I was asaging like thirty.

Speaker 3

Oh god, yeah, man, I don't know which one short short Yeah, No, that was my That was my sophomore year.

Speaker 2

That was my sophomore year.

Speaker 6

I was asking like twenty I went from ten points to twenty five to like thirty five to forty two.

So bro, yeah, but that was no Bro.

That like my junior year, that shit hurt.

I ain't gonna lie like that was my probably my best chance to win State.

Speaker 2

We had a We had a I mean, Lindy Waters, you may know who's in the way.

Speaker 6

He's a shooter and the league found his way into the league, but went to Oklahoma State was really good.

Had I had gotten suspended that year and missed most of the year and came back during the playoffs, and uh, we were winning all year and we got the playoffs and literally was beating everybody pretty bad.

And the last game, I mean, we should have won, to be honest with you, and uh, it's just crazy how it happened.

Like a kid back door got back door on my team for the last second and k had made a layup and I swear it was like, you can't you can't go back.

Speaker 5

He says, you lost to a bunch of football.

Speaker 2

Yeah, man, I trust me, Bro.

We played them ten times, we winning nine, you know one of them.

You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 6

The team that if the championship game was the semi finals, like everybody thought us versus team called Mustang who had won state the year before, it was just for them and some reason, we beat them by thirty and uh we were so I mean, we thought we had won it, you know what I'm saying.

And the next day, like them games is back to back to back, so you played the next day.

I mean, if you're not ready and locked in, you can lose and that that be your season and that's how your your junior or can finish.

So it sucked, but it's that's that's something that those That's what such about the most is those guys hold on.

Speaker 2

To it like it's aba finals, like no matter what you do.

I was asking you that because obviously.

Speaker 3

You live here, from here, you around.

You just went to a high school game.

I grew up in my hometown.

Speaker 2

I will live there.

I coached there.

Speaker 3

Like all my friends talk about the moments when we play north Central or Northwest and I'm like, danmg, you lost the state finals to somebody who played football.

Probably when you walk in he probably like yeah, But when I backdoor.

Speaker 2

I beat him in the state.

Yeah I got here, you know for no reason telling.

Speaker 6

I ain't gonna say dude name because I don't you know what I'm saying them too much.

Speaker 2

But yeah, we was playing.

Speaker 6

I had some runs, like I had runs in my gym and here during the finals, and uh, one of the one of the guys that's in here.

I mean I'm only calling certain guys to come up here.

You got to be able to hoop, so he could hoop.

And uh we played him my second to last game my senior year, and uh, he had a pretty good game.

I mean his team was way better than mine.

I mean I killed them and I played.

They ended up winning the game, and uh, we ended up playing in here.

We started talking and uh he started talking trash one of my friends, right, and I don't like that.

So we was we were playing five and he I ended up having to start talking a little bit and we started getting into and he brought up how he had thirty five and beat us in the game.

I said, I looked at them.

Then let's said which year.

I said that year on one game away playing the year or that one, Like you know what I'm saying and I didn't know which.

Speaker 2

That is.

Speaker 6

You know, Like that's the same feeling, Like you know what I'm saying, Like it's you're playing against the guys you grew up against.

Speaker 5

If they win, yes, they on it.

You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 6

Album it's super You'll never live it down no matter which I do.

So they gonna they're gonna hold on that forever.

Speaker 5

Now.

Speaker 1

Listen, you talk about going from twenty five to thirty to forty.

Speaker 2

When did you know you was nice?

Speaker 5

Now?

Speaker 2

I don't even think like that, you know what I'm saying.

I don't you know what I'm.

Speaker 6

Saying, Like I I really I don't really think like that.

Like even when I'm getting games like uh, I'll get like thirty five and fifteen and stuff, and I'm like I'll be in the moment in the game, I don't feel it, but like after the game, I'll be like damn, Like like sometimes I pinch myself still, Like you don't some stuff I do in the games that haven't been done before.

It's like it's pinched me moments like I don't.

I don't like get too excited or expected or.

Speaker 2

Like Trey, you know Troy Well, I love that humble shit.

Speaker 4

Now No, look maw fuck that.

No, well you stepped in the garden.

No, that's okay, for sure, I was.

I thought you was talk about high school.

I know nothing about No, we just watched it on TV.

Speaker 6

That's yeah, I was teammates.

No, that's I mean, he definitely gotta.

I mean, I have fun with this ship.

You know what I'm saying, Like you don't have fun with it, it's not no point in playing it.

And I feel like that's that's when I play my best and when I'm having fun.

And I mean as much as you see me talking trash, it's just because I'm.

Speaker 2

The one ending it.

Speaker 6

Like I really, I really would love to just hoop like and just have fun and engage with the crowd.

And you know what I'm saying, I have fun and win.

But like you see me engaged with players, it's because they usually are saying something or they'll say something slick to the rest that I hear, and I'm like, you know what I'm saying.

You don't get me going, But you know, you gotta be competitive.

You can't make it to this level and not be competitive.

Speaker 3

No, I know we're gonna go to college but forty two points a game, Like, or I thought I was killing bro my senior year at high school average it was about twenty five.

I was on a really good team.

Forty two Bro, who was on your team?

Speaker 5

Well, what would you saying to them?

Speaker 2

I mean, set this screen, we got to.

Speaker 5

Break down the place.

Was it old Troy?

Speaker 2

No?

I mean it wasn't.

It was a little bit of both.

Speaker 6

Like I was, I'm playing transition, like I played fast, so if I get the rebound shit.

Speaker 2

I mean I looked at it like this, like I'm a senior.

Speaker 6

I'm playing against the guys that are some freshman, junior or sophomores.

Like there's no reason they should be on the court with me, you know what I'm saying.

So anytime when I was a senior, it was like, I mean, I know I'm going against but I know they're not at my level and they could be younger than me.

So it's like this is the time for me to like go ahead and just do what I do in this show, Like I'll get rebounds up, go coast to coast, get layups, Like I'm not worried about a big block in my shot.

There may be bigs, but I'm smart enough to know to get into his body and use the glass.

Speaker 2

Like even at my senior year, like.

Speaker 6

I was a good touch around the basket, so it was never like never hard for me.

I didn't average ten assists.

I probably averaged five or six assists, but I mean I was still I had the ball in my hand a lot too, and that helps.

Speaker 2

But yeah, I was able.

Speaker 6

I just I just thought differently whenever it came to these type of things.

Speaker 3

It was just so easy for you though, Like they got a shot clock, like because in Indiana they would have held the ball.

Speaker 2

Yeah, it would never got No.

Forty two.

Speaker 5

But that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 6

We was winning, so like we would be winning games like we would be winning and you can't really hold it, I mean unless you just when you down.

Speaker 5

You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 6

I haven't seen it, yeah, I mean I didn't see it too, Just scared they can't outscore you.

Speaker 1

Don't just hold the ball andork.

Yeah, we need shot clocks in all hospital basketball.

In fact, yeah, for sure that players better.

Speaker 2

I was, you know, you want to talking home?

Was there any chance that any other school could have got you up out of here?

For sure?

For sure, for sure.

Speaker 6

I mean I almost went to Kansas muh if DeVante would have left.

So the year I went to my freshman year, I was going in DeVante Graham was a senior at but even my my visits my like my junior and senior year, Cosell was telling me that Devanta and Frank Mason was a senior, so he was leaving.

Davante was going to leave with him.

And uh, that's why I waited so long to like commit, because I really wanted to see if DeVante was gonna was going to leave, And because if you would have left, I probably I probably would have went to Kansas, hm, just because I wanted to be in the blue blood kind of like going to mont verd And you know what I'm saying, Like at a high school, I felt like if I would have went to Kansas or Kentucky, I mean I just I didn't.

I wasn't ready to commit whenever Kwaide was ready to commit to go to Kentucky.

Speaker 2

So that's the reason why I didn't go there.

Speaker 6

And so yeah, I mean Kentucky Kansas, but I stayed home.

I mean I thought about it hard, but I I think I made the best decision for sure, Like.

Speaker 3

Just think of playing Devils Advocate.

Let's say you went to Kentucky or Kansas.

You think you would have had the same success that you had as a freshman.

Speaker 2

I would have.

Speaker 6

I feel like I would have been looked at the same.

But my numbers, man, I have looked the same.

You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5

I think you could have did that at Kansas.

Speaker 2

I mean maybe maybe.

Speaker 6

I mean why, I mean, it's just it'd been me Davante had the Gerald Vick's fee.

Speaker 2

And then you Donkee as a bookie he was still there.

He would have killed.

He would have number shooters f on the preimiter too.

Speaker 3

Yeah.

I ain't gonna lie though, I think it was perfect for you go Oklahoma.

It don't it didn't Like it just makes sense what you did in college for the journey.

For sure, your college for your freshman year is one of the top freshman years of all time.

Like Kevin Durant, mellow, we don't low number one because he won a chip, but like you kd bs yeah a d y'all all right there, Like it's unbelievable.

Speaker 2

And I think the thing is, I mean, it's a difference between me and they just won.

You know what I'm saying.

They won.

You know, a D won a championship.

I think, uh, you you and Bees?

They was okay, yeah, I think yeah.

I don't know who.

Speaker 6

I think National Freshman Players of the Year.

I can't remember at the time.

I think to have done it before me was k D.

And uh who was the other guy?

Speaker 5

They just got a fresh.

Speaker 2

National player here?

Because KD is my class, I don't know who was National Player of the year.

Speaker 6

I'm telling you it's only been there was only two.

Maybe I would have been the second one behind k D to win, should have won it, but Beasley should have won.

Speaker 2

It was number six.

Speaker 5

This od Did you have that?

Of course you had the green light, But did you think it was gonna be like that when you got to Oklahoma?

Speaker 2

Nah?

Speaker 6

I mean I knew I would have the ball in my hands.

I knew I'd have like a certain green light for sure.

Being here in Norman and Coach Krueger, like our relationship we had.

But I mean you obviously have to like you have to you have to gain that trust and gain that respect.

So like the way I play, I mean in practice and even in the games at the beginning of the year, Like I mean helped me kind of like establish how the rest.

Speaker 5

Of the season was going to go to because I was when you.

Speaker 2

Got crazy moments of college.

I asked, what's a crazy game?

Speaker 1

You versed Oklahomba s A or you worsed CCU because it was two high life actorly Troy Young games.

Speaker 6

No, for sure, I mean I like I probably liked playing uh TCU better.

Speaker 2

I think I got the.

Speaker 6

You see like even stuff like this, Like I mean playing tc I think I scored eighty two points against them in two games.

Speaker 5

Disrespectful solidifies your draft.

Speaker 2

I think that somebody to score on.

Yeah, he was the best player that team though.

He was.

They had him and Jamie Fisher.

Speaker 5

Yep.

Speaker 2

I don't know if you'll know Jamis Fisher.

I just my fault brother.

That was a crazy stress.

Speaker 4

That's only your easiest match up And who was the toughest match up?

You remember you have a duel with somebody.

Speaker 6

I remember going to Wishita State.

That was a tough game they played.

They had Landry Shammitt, Landry Shammitt.

They had Austin Reeves came off the bench who ended up coming to you like the next year.

Speaker 2

So they had they had a couple of guys.

Speaker 6

They were number three in the country at the time, and so we went to their place in one and that was That was the craziest game, probably, and that was tough game, probably.

Speaker 1

So what's that moment in college when you realize, all right, the league really won't me, Like, I know, I got interest, but they like, now I'm damned there lottery.

What's that moment like when you like, damn, I could really go to the NBA, like right now.

Speaker 2

I mean, it's hard not to think about it, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 6

It's hard not to think about the future and your dreams about to be becoming true because you still got a season.

You still got the rest of the Big Twelve and the NCAA tournament, a long tournament run and hopefully play.

So it was tough, but it was like it was it was kind of hard to like not not look at it and not deal with I mean, they were talking about it all the time on ESPN.

You a block first take with it, Yeah, it was.

It was crazy, but then you got no.

I mean, it's it was hard, but like, I mean, I feel like I handled it the way the best way I could.

Speaker 2

And I mean it was, it was, it was, It was good.

Speaker 5

It was good.

Speaker 2

Before y'all see what was your first time, like like really tapping in with Tray.

I've seen him.

Speaker 3

I seen him in high school obviously because I was I'm my au here, we all here, So I know him in high school and I know him at Michael Porter Junior.

I thought Michael Porter Junior was the best player in that class at that time.

Speaker 2

He was crazy.

Speaker 3

And then seeing him with Brandon Roy and all that, so I kind of kept tabs on end.

Jamal was, you know, Jamal one of my old heads, so he used to tell me about him.

But when I see him at Oklahoma, I'm like, man, hold on, man, how's.

Speaker 2

This dude doing this?

I'm like, you know, in my head, I'm being a competitor.

Speaker 3

Now I'm like, why they don't do this way on trapping and now watching they trying to trap him and he running by everybody.

Speaker 2

Then he shoot from half court and.

Speaker 3

I remember I don't know what game it was, but you like stumbled and then you still shot the ball.

And I said, hold on, he playing differently like what he won't and he making them and I was like, he gonna be different.

And then when he got drafted by the Hawks, obviously I was I'm a Hawks, that's me.

I'm like, damn, they got him.

I gotta see what's up.

And then you got did the summer league and I'm like, yeah, it's a little different in the league.

And then he got in his rookie year, I was like, nah, he was just practicing a little different.

Speaker 2

Like I was like, he's different.

I was like, he's just different.

I appreciate it.

Yeah, that was that was crazy.

Come about me, me and Jeff.

Oh yeah he was not.

Speaker 3

So when I came to the team, like obviously, now he's he's a star.

Like to me, like after his rookie year, he was great, great rookie year.

Second year, I'm like, yeah, he is a star.

I get traded like in the middle of the year.

I think that was the second year.

Speaker 2

But I'm like, you know you got that jersey.

Still real jersey.

I've been asking for a minute.

I know.

Speaker 5

The way bro.

Speaker 3

So when I got to the team, I watched him play and I'm like, it's to me, the first thing that stuck out.

I know he was a really good pastor, but his floater.

I'm like, he never missed floaters.

Like everybody talk about Hi shooting from half court.

I'm watching it as a fantom like this dude just never miss floaters.

So I'm like, damn, I can learn something from this dude.

So I'm looking at how you shoot him.

He's shooting him from half I'm like, okay, I'm about to start doing that.

Speaker 2

But I didn't know only had a nineteen minute.

Speaker 3

I didn't know only had nineteen minutes I could do all this, So I hed, I'm like, I'm about to do all this at nineteen minutes, and that same light can't It's like, bring.

Speaker 2

It over here.

Speaker 3

But now he was so dynamic in the pick and roll and his ability to score.

Obviously he can shoot the ball from crazy distance.

And I was like, nah, Atlanta got one, Like it's over.

They found a superstar since Dominique.

You know what I mean, I'm not here, man, I've been right.

Speaker 5

I guess.

Speaker 4

He was comfortable right away, though, averaging du me, you for sure was you comfortable right away?

Or it took you a minute to get adjusted?

Speaker 6

I mean I like to say it took me a minute to get adjusted.

Stops are saying.

Speaker 3

Cool.

Speaker 4

It was because I feel like, Bro, while I'm saying that to you, is I feel like I know I'm jumping the head, but I feel like they'd be disrespecting you.

Speaker 2

And they, yeah, Bro, they do, you know what I mean.

Speaker 6

But I mean, for sure, the only reason why I say that is because you if you sit back and look at it, Irish, what you ever showing Irish nineteen?

Speaker 5

Yeah, I looked at it today to make sure I was.

Speaker 6

I was twenty and something other, twenty and eight something like that, and the next year I was twenty nine and nine.

Speaker 2

It was easy, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 6

But like in my mind, I'm like, I should have been doing this shit my rookie year, you know what I'm saying, Like.

Speaker 2

He was just trying to gaggle mate.

You came to a team with people on there.

Speaker 6

For sure, for sure.

But that's what I'm saying that I feel like that was the adjustment period.

Like I felt like even though I did put up really good numbers as a rookie, like I was and I played good, I played played well in spirits like, I feel like I could have obviously done better.

Like I mean, in my second year, I feel like I showed it, like what I could have done more?

Speaker 2

You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 6

I mean, I haven't averaged twenty nine since, but like it's like, I really, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2

I feel like if I if I wanted to, like.

Speaker 6

I could, you know what I'm saying, that's just not like I just and then that third year we started getting I mean, Gallo and Bogie and all those guys, and then we started getting some of my My scoring went down, but I mean, I feel like it took me a second to get justin.

Speaker 1

Listen, we gonna go back to the brash stuff I won't talk about the first time and came in the locker room.

Speaker 6

What was that like meet him for the first time, especially as a teammate.

Oh man, it was it was It was It was fun.

It was dope because a lot of people and a lot of people already knew about Jeff, like Zach and you know what I'm saying, A lot of people in the Hawks organization areay knew about Jeff.

So I mean, and I did too.

The Hawks weren't, y'all, weren't even when you were winning sixty games.

I went on TV a lot but like when you knew the Hawks, even though you are k Kyle korver, you know what I'm saying, Like the four four or five main guys, So I mean you knew Jeff, So I was.

I was eager to learn, eager to like pick his brain.

I didn't know he would be this funny and this like chill, laid back, you know what I'm saying.

And but I think even the way he was like just I mean interacting, it didn't have to be serious all the time.

I mean to learn something from somebody, So I mean, even though he wasn't playing as much, like even if he didn't mean to give somebody advice or give me advice, Like it was like every now and then we'd be sitting on the plane, he sat in front of me, So I mean I was able to t pick his brain every now and then talk to him.

Speaker 2

So cool as cool ast vet for sure.

Speaker 5

Man.

Speaker 3

They was so young, like he had to be twenty one at most, twenty twenty.

Speaker 2

One for sure, twenty one and most yeah, and I was like thirty one, maybe thirty two.

Oh gee.

Speaker 3

And I'm like I came in the locker room and obviously Travis was like We're going to sign you to an extension.

Speaker 2

We want you to be the VET.

Speaker 3

I'm like, hell no, I'm like I had made the playoffs my whole career, so that was the first time I'm going to a team I never made the playoffs.

I'm like, nah, I won't play the playoffs.

But then I got in the locker room, I'm like, they cool.

Then e T just happen to be there.

Shots at et Et ruled my second Hawks.

He talked to me every day about, hey, you ain't gonna like this.

He wouldn't even let me like something.

I'm like, they cool, bro, Like they ain't gonna like that.

Speaker 2

You ain't gonna like that.

Speaker 3

You know.

I'm like, man, I'm a Hawk guy.

He like, no, I ain't gonna be all go after this.

It shots about dog Et, but nah.

When I first met him, I knew I'm like, damn, if I can figure out how to be cool with him, he the franchise, right, So you gotta understand I'm gonna be cool with him, and I'm gonna make sure that I let him know I'm in his corner.

I don't want him think I'm coming back and think like I'm somebody like, nah, my time has been had.

I'm coming here to support you.

I'm gonna try to be your backup.

I'm gonna try to do what we can do unless win.

So that was my biggest thing when I met him.

I just wanted to let him know I wouldn't like, I'm not hating.

I don't got to hate bone in my body.

If you roll, I'm gonna say, no, you cold.

You know, I'm gonna be like you cool, you cool, But if you cold, you cold, I'm gonna say I was like, he cold, and I ain't have a hating bone in my body.

We just didn't have enough time because COVID happened.

Yeah, we was on the team when COVID happened, and we was on the team when Ben Carter got his last last game.

Speaker 6

Baby, that's crazy, Yeah that was that's that's crazy.

That was your last game with us.

Speaker 2

Yep.

Speaker 3

No, I was supposed to come back, so I was gonna sign back.

And then I was like I love LP.

I mean he cool, mean LP cool.

So I was like, I can't do that, like because he just it wasn't him, It came from upper management.

Speaker 2

I'm like, like Trey.

Speaker 3

I could play with Trey because I seen him play with guards.

I can play with him.

It's like, now we don't want that.

Speaker 5

N't want to play.

Speaker 2

They was we want to play cam, we want to play.

Speaker 3

We want to play, uh Kevin, And I'm like I can play with him sometimes, like if I'm having a moment and he was like no, I was like, I'm gonna try something different then like yah, ain't gonna even give me a chance.

Speaker 6

People don't understand that about the league though.

It's just like, you know what I'm saying with certain people above the players.

Speaker 2

You know what I'm saying.

They want to go to a certain direction and young guys.

Speaker 3

And then I think Rondo might have came, so do had came and I was like I went to the Celtics or whatever.

Speaker 2

Is having the same type of feelings.

It's just part of it.

Speaker 5

Bro.

Speaker 2

I appreciate you though, nah Man, you you one of them.

Speaker 3

That's why every time we get on the show, we always talk about who don't get the most respect, who should be an all startist and not every time Young better than him, Trede young better than him?

Speaker 5

And it's the truth.

Why do you think that is?

Speaker 2

Though?

Bro?

Speaker 3

Uh?

Speaker 5

You can talking.

Speaker 6

I think maybe that's why you know what I'm saying, Like I'm always just because your numbers is crazy, bro.

Speaker 3

Every year, every year it's an all star number.

Speaker 2

Bro.

Speaker 6

Yeah, I mean I just think that's why I was like, I'm not, I'm not super loud when it comes to I mean, you may think I'm loud in certain highlights and the way I talk sometimes, but like when it comes to like boosting myself or something like like.

Speaker 2

That, like I'm not, I'm not.

Speaker 6

I'd rather let my game do the talking and let everybody else speak for me.

So no matter if I'm gotten the credit that I I mean or not, like I'm just gonna I would rather just live that way and and hopefully I mean, it's gonna gonna turn, it's gonna flip.

So that's that's my my whole reason why just I stay the way I am.

Speaker 2

Yeah, because they trying to use every excuse.

Speaker 1

Le's try to say small market, No, that doesn't matter anymore because everybody is on TV.

Speaker 2

Then they talk about the numbers.

Speaker 1

There's no way you can talk about the numbers like we always were like numbers next to each other when we put them side by sides up.

Speaker 2

Ship gets spooked even the smaller and not do it all the time.

Speaker 3

Yeah, like put trail numbers against his Yeah, that's true every time.

Speaker 2

For me.

I'm a Hawks fan.

You're a Hawks.

Speaker 3

Guy, is bro I am so I he a Pacer fan.

Speaker 2

I know, y'all guess you got he like, yeah, he like you Probloyd take me to the crib to give me a trink.

My boy took me on the field.

He find.

Speaker 5

Off the court of.

Speaker 2

Magic.

And now we gotta bet.

Know where about that?

We got bet?

Speaker 3

Yeah, the bet already you had a bet to tho.

I do remember he was like he said something about like the Pacers or whatever.

Speaker 5

He ain't trying to bet that.

Speaker 1

We haven't auditions, you know, but just you know, so we just see how we gonna retool for the next time.

Speaker 2

I'm saying, we're just chilling.

Speaker 5

The ship for now.

Speaker 2

But me and him definitely got a better.

Speaker 4

I wanted to ask, like, where is where is this tension with you in the Knicks man comes from?

Speaker 2

Why talk about it?

Speaker 4

No?

Speaker 6

It ain't even I mean, I guess it started from the playoff series.

And yeah, I mean first quarter with ten minutes and to go, like the whole crowd to start chatting like, f you you know what I'm saying, Like.

Speaker 2

What's that like?

Man?

Tell us about that the wrestling events?

What is that like?

What is that like?

Being the villain in New York?

Hey, you beat them?

That makes it even better.

I mean, it's it's cool.

I mean, I don't really.

Speaker 6

The thing is, I didn't grow up thinking I was gonna ever be the villain of it, you know what I'm saying in New York.

But I mean it is what it is, and yeah, I mean you just embrace it.

I mean, when I walk around the city, I get a lot of love.

So it's not like I feel scared to go around the city.

You know what I'm saying.

I feel like even if I pulled up the dytman.

Speaker 2

You know what I'm saying.

There re some people out there that show love, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 6

So they say all these things on camera, but they I mean, person, it's it's a different way, you know what I'm saying, for the most part, So I don't really have to too hard feelings towards towards their fans.

Speaker 3

It's funny because you like playing to it though, you you you can do w W e two.

Speaker 2

He rolled.

Let me get that y.

Speaker 3

That's a great side better now if you see the clips.

Speaker 6

Yeah, my favorite part is how Jalen came up and dapped me after like Jayalen like it was it was a thing when the Johnson was on the team.

Speaker 2

We was, he had everybody.

Speaker 6

We was all playing dice on the on the on the table, were making side.

That's everything, and it was like it was it was funny.

So we uh, I mean it was.

It was kind of like a thought in my head.

Like so when I did it, I mean I did.

I had thought about it before because I knew he was going to Vegas if we won, so yeah, yeah, you know you roll dice when you go there.

I like how Jalen came up because Jalen was always playing dice with us too, so I liked how we got to wap up after I did it too.

Speaker 1

My Viob, Man, let's go back to it man, draft night.

Obviously you make the decision killing the college just coming go to the pros.

What was your draft process like and how was that whole situation.

Obviously we know it was a big trade, but how was that for you?

Speaker 6

I mean it was, I mean it was surprising, to be honest with you, like I thought I was going to Orlando at six, the whole the whole pre draft process.

To be honest with you, I worked out for like fourteens individually.

Yeah, and uh four privilege nah nah yeah something I mean probably Nah, I got hurt.

Speaker 2

So I only worked out for two one and a half.

Speaker 3

I guess that's to me so but nah not because I would have had about eighteen.

Speaker 6

But no, So I had like four, and I think I went to Chicago.

I went to New York.

Actually I went to New York.

They had the ninth pick.

Fizzdale was there, never thinking about maybe trading up, so we got the Nicks.

I went there in Chicago and I worked out in Atlanta, but I didn't.

They had the number three pick, and I thought they were going to go with the big like Marvin Bagley if Luca went to Phoenix or something like that, and I mean Luca didn't go to Phoenix, and then uh, they ended up making the trade.

And I found out after the fourth pick that after Luca got called, my agent tapped me on my shoulder and said that you're going You're going there actually, and Luke was going to Dallas at five, so you're gonna be called at five.

Speaker 2

So I was waiting the whole fourth.

Speaker 6

Pick, like just looking up there like, oh shit, I'm about to be called, like I knew it, and I just it was a crazy feeling.

But I was just thinking about going to Atlanta the whole time, like I didn't know what what it's going to be, Like, I'm just I went there for a second.

Speaker 2

But I was excited.

I knew, I mean, what type of the.

Speaker 6

City like it was, and like the way the way I'm built, the way I am, Like I knew I could like really relate with the city and try to bring something that I mean they've they've they've never done there.

So I'm winning the championship.

So yeah, that was that was something I really wanted to do.

So I was excited about it.

Speaker 1

Well definitely, I Mean they always not pitied y'all against each other, but they always missed that when somebody's name was brought up.

Speaker 2

But then it was dope because you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1

Of course, y'all was successful early on, but you had the playoff success early like you had it first.

What was that feeling, like, you know what I'm saying, I'm nice.

Now I'm leading the franchise.

Now we're getting playoff with What was that first playoff.

Speaker 2

Series like for you?

Man, it was it was crazy feeling like that was that was I mean, I gave you my.

Speaker 6

First signature shoe too, like that series, and I was playing in prototypes.

They didn't even they couldn't even make enough for me to make playing my own and I really wanted to play in my first shoot in the garden in my first playoff series, and so I was playing in prototypes the first two games, and uh, it was it was just an unreal feeling, man Like just that first.

Speaker 2

Series was was what was was crazy and that's why you just want to continue.

Speaker 6

That's that's that that itch you get whenever you get there and you win one, you win the series, and you win to.

Speaker 2

You get to the conference finals, You're like, you got to get back to this.

You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 6

It's like you don't have that same type of joy or excitement at the end of the season unless you get there further.

Speaker 2

So, I mean, that's that's what I'm right now.

Speaker 3

You did make to the conference finals.

We played that year, Yeah, they play.

Speaker 2

We got, y'all.

Speaker 3

I think I had a cool series that came out of retirement.

Yeah, I did that, came out of retirement.

A couple of threes.

Speaker 2

Get Trading's time me back.

I think you can talk.

Speaker 3

It's like that Get three, game six, I hit three.

Speaker 2

Yeah, he was mad.

I pointed at you?

What time?

What time?

I pointed at you.

I was like this for you niggas.

I definitely got it.

But you think because you tweat your ankle or something that serious?

Speaker 5

Right?

Speaker 2

Game three?

All right, be honest, you think you would beatus if you don't tweet ankle?

Speaker 5

Yeah?

No, I was.

I was bad.

Speaker 3

I was tea time again.

They kept their draws on this.

Come on the Hawks, Hawks talk about this?

Why y'all post that ship the trend tea time?

You know, you were in the jersey draw and so somebody posted a picture of this is my fit for the day.

Speaker 2

It was a jersey, some socks and shoes and that bro thro fire.

I'm like, oh, they don't know what's going on.

They don't understand.

Speaker 3

So whoever whoever on the media tama that bro the tea Scott's no draws, they got got cleaned up.

Speaker 1

They said we have the team arena.

I got number one fail.

You can't do me like that?

Speaker 5

Has the city embrace you?

Though?

Speaker 2

Bro?

Speaker 6

As a whole, I feel they really embraced me, And I think I remember talking to uh I think Dominique a few years ago about it, like just the way I embraced the city.

Speaker 2

You know what I'm saying, it's the same similar to how he did.

Speaker 6

You know what I'm saying.

And it's like that's why they they really mess with you a certain you know what I'm saying a certain ways.

So I definitely get a lot of love when I go go out in the city and go places around.

Speaker 2

So I really love it.

Speaker 1

Okay, obviously you know what I'm saying.

It happened a successful what's that first All Star Now?

I feel like, you know what I'm saying for a lot of players, and that's a minament a moment for them, you know, takeing recognized playing that stage.

Speaker 2

What was it like for you?

Man?

Speaker 6

It was It was unreal, Bro, it was unreal.

I got announced here in Oklahoma City.

Speaker 5

Yeah yeah.

Speaker 6

We played the Thunder the next day and I was able to be at my house and watch it with my mom and my family.

So it was like an unreal feeling when they announced it and then the game.

It was the year Kobe pass, so the teams were winning two and twenty four and that was the first.

Speaker 2

Uh, it was a fun game.

Speaker 6

The only thing I hated about it was that I didn't get to finish the game and I was a starter.

But uh, that was you know what I'm saying, that's part of it, I guess being a young young guy, me and Luca didn't get to finish the games.

Speaker 5

But it was It was.

Speaker 6

Cool though that was that was a fun experience, a fun, fun first time experience.

But I think I've had some more fun, fun experiences after that.

Speaker 2

Most definitely miament of moment.

Speaker 1

You know, it's crazy right now you're going viral again, man, they say, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2

The reason why be a same is thinking about something around.

Man.

Speaker 1

They put the picture but the lamp in the basket.

I know your defense was like that, Yeah about my boy, No smother we put on this.

We love the Simmons.

But his pay patroller was because I said, damn tray, what the contestant?

Speaker 6

Okay, yeah, I was about the fake blocket and the picture looks crazy, like I'm really about to fake jump and block.

Speaker 2

Looks he thought about it, Yeah, blocked that I was.

Speaker 6

I was just gonna He said it too, He said I thought he was gonna found me, which I probably would have just grabbed his arm and yeah, I was really probably about to swing through and grab his arm and make sure he didn't shoot free throws.

Speaker 5

So he should have wind milled.

Speaker 2

On your in the post.

But you know it might be nothing.

R J.

That's his man there, Yes.

Speaker 4

Blender for sure, like, yeah, trying too little, That's what it was.

Speaker 2

That's why I talked bad about being like that.

Speaker 5

He's trying down there.

Speaker 2

The first person.

He was sixty five see one sixty one, I'm fifty.

Speaker 5

I got him by.

Speaker 2

Bad, he told Ken.

Speaker 5

Almost Kevin didn't got.

Speaker 2

Bit.

Speaker 5

I told Kevin Bush.

Speaker 2

Was almost like he wasn't get that.

Speaker 8

I'm like everybody that was like, boy, you almost made me forget where I was.

He was really mad.

I was like, he's just playing, bro I'm not playing though, really the real.

Speaker 3

B Yes for show everybody, show the people, especially my man what's your name?

Speaker 2

Chase his jumper So.

Speaker 3

To go back to the lab BROT the early release created my boy, Chase La good dude, good dude, good people.

You got a good team, bro, great people.

Michaelapoort, that's my guy.

I work for good people, Chase Jump.

Everybody was wondering about that, but you shout out to the Gamer show, and what's it like being the GM man of your own moneor Man, It's crazy, It's dope.

Speaker 6

I mean, y'all, y'all seen like a little bit of Norman, Like, yeah, I grew up here and went to elementary, middle school, high school, now in college, and I get to be the GM here and get to call these kids and and kind of promote the school, promote the city them what I mean, feel comfortable at the end up deciding to come to my school Like it's it's an unreal feeling, and I feel like it's something I can take advantage of.

Speaker 2

And I told the coaches and everybody that helped.

Speaker 6

Me do this, like I didn't get a chance to win a championship in college more than once, So this is my really opportunity to get me a ring in college.

So yeah, we're gonna we're gonna go get some players to help us do that.

I got on there shout out tight.

Speaker 5

Treat my boys right, man, while they got here knowing.

Speaker 2

Them anything I treat us.

But living in heaven they getting treated right.

Speaker 5

Would you see.

Speaker 4

Yourself even like coaching or you know, in somebody's office after you've done playing.

Speaker 2

Coaching?

No, coaching, No made me sound like it's terrible.

Now I'm cool.

Speaker 6

I just yeah, just being being in an NBA and understanding the business.

And I mean it's coaching business.

Like there's coaches of the years.

Speaker 2

I get that.

Speaker 6

I mean get fired and yeah, you know what I'm saying, the coaches don't have as much juice as you may think.

You know what I'm saying when it comes to the team and who they're coaching and who's coming to the team.

And you know what I'm saying, it's just it's a lot of a lot of pros being the coach obviously, right, I mean I think there's a lot a lot more cons to be honest.

Speaker 5

With you, understood, man.

Speaker 2

But you know what I'm saying that A you squad, obviously you went crazy.

You You and BG got the squiddy.

What's going on we're doing?

Speaker 6

Hey, hey man, we got a squad, man, we gotta we got a squad.

We just this our first year with the U y b L.

Speaker 2

So yeah, I mean we got we're gonna win.

Speaker 6

We're gona win the PGAM championship here too, and up, I got it all the way from what twelve twelve U to the seventeens.

Speaker 5

Okay, you go to full program.

It's a little bro on that team.

Speaker 3

Yeah, yeah, I remember.

Look, I got a little story about a little shit.

He was running around shooting on the court.

Get your little ass off.

It was sure, I'm out there shoot he run on the court.

I only get five minutes a game now, seeing me told than me six too excited to see what he's gonna do.

Speaker 5

Is you know what I mean?

Speaker 3

He went to he went to the game today and he was looking at that crowd.

Yeah, it's looking looking specially that portal.

They looking special.

I'm excited to see his journey though.

Speaker 2

Appreciate it.

Speaker 1

And it's crazy because I think you might have just missed this window.

But imagine what you would have did with the n IL, especially with.

Speaker 2

Oh Man.

How much would have cost okay.

Speaker 6

Man with a camera after that first year?

Yeah, you know, I mean that's what I'm saying.

I mean, no, I wouldn't like That's the thing.

If I would have played the way I did my freshman year, ain't no reason to stay from the n I L NBA, NBA money.

Speaker 2

That's why I tried to tell.

Speaker 6

These kids, like there's no reason that if you really feel like you got a chance make it to the NBA.

It's like, there's no reason to be your mindset to be chasing this n IL bag.

Speaker 2

You know what I'm saying.

It should be let's get to the best place that I can be to help get to the next level.

Speaker 6

You know what I'm saying.

If they give me a lot of money, that's cool.

If they don't, you know what I'm saying, I understand what my mission is.

It it ain't about the money.

So some of these kids gonna ruin their careers just by chasing this this college bag.

You know what I'm saying.

And you said that's I mean, it's a lot of money, of course, for sure, but it's not you know what I'm saying, generational.

Speaker 2

You know what I'm saying, where you can like NBA like what we're able to do if you if you play it the right way.

Speaker 3

So I just I'm love that you said that because a lot of kids are making decisions to go to a school where they might not even play necessary the game that they want to play.

They might go to somewhere they a pick and roll player and they run a personal offense, but they gave them a home three hundred thousand or whatever.

Man, you gotta go where it's best for you, where you can play, because the goal is to get to the next level, or even if you're not gonna make it to the NBA, the goal is to play so well that they have to pay you two million dollars later.

Speaker 5

You know what I mean.

Speaker 2

If the NBA might not be fair.

Speaker 3

I mean, obviously everybody's not gonna make to the name of everybody, it's not that special.

But you want to play at a high level.

You go get a million dollars the first year, and you don't play that much and you don't play well, you're not getting a million dollars second year.

Speaker 2

That's a fact.

Yeah, that's a fact.

Speaker 5

I think it kills the kids shot for this.

Do you think it sucks up there to like work ethic two though?

Speaker 6

Yeah, that's that's what I think.

It kills the most, you know, the kids, especially the kids, the highly rated kids.

Like there was kids that are higher.

Speaker 2

Rated than me.

Speaker 6

I think I was finished like twenty fourth or twenty six.

I mean I was probably like the second guy drafted out of my class, you know what I'm saying.

So it's crazy that's after after one year, third guy.

So it's like, uh, that's what I'm saying.

It's like, I can only imagine if I nil deals now, you know what I'm saying, or even back then, like it would have been kind of the same, same kind of thing.

Speaker 1

So yeah, high love of guys can can lose track of focus too by this short term money.

Speaker 2

So yeah, what's the light being on?

Or brown?

Man?

Speaker 1

Everybody growing and I'm saying I want to be the man.

I want awarded kicks now they tapped in.

What's that feeling like?

Speaker 2

Man, It's unreal, man, I like them shoes just got a.

Speaker 5

Right coming up.

Speaker 2

Check out.

You can try flips.

Yeah, but no, for sure signed a project.

Look for you signed up?

Speaker 5

Man, let's Jordan's no.

Speaker 2

No, I mean Jordan's cool.

Man.

Speaker 6

I've really enjoyed my my time this year.

I have one year with him, so I got this year with him and then I'm a free agent next summer.

So it's true free agents.

So it's gonna be It's gonna be fun.

I mean, I loved it since I've been over there.

I mean I can I can see myself having a long future with.

Speaker 2

Him, for sure.

Speaker 5

They pulled over a big truck the clip.

Speaker 1

Not the first time.

We're gonna see you about the second time.

Let's been the block and man, listen, we pulled up here.

Man, crazy weekend you got going on?

We put them to the pick a ball tournament.

Oh yeah, we ain't gonna talk about to be hearing the freaking Mike.

Speaker 5

On the ship we are.

Speaker 2

It's my podcast.

Yes, I big freaking Mike.

Speaker 5

I don't know.

Speaker 4

It was that on Oklahoma University's campus University.

Yeah, we played by the tennis rules and I won three to one.

You know what I mean, quick game.

I sweat and my you know what I mean, my shorts and.

Speaker 5

I didn't warm up.

Speaker 2

I was fresh off of a four piece tender and two loachs of bread.

You know it's your favorite.

Speaker 4

Wow, you got a beautiful event going on, Bro, Can you speak on your foundation and you know the eventual putting on for the weekend?

Speaker 6

Yeah, No, this is this is my this is my second year doing this like on podcast weekend, but uh this is our first year doing the pickleball on Friday, and uh so that was this was fun.

I mean we was able to do it today and I was excited that y'all pulled up.

I appreciated.

I saw you Mike going at it over there.

This was grazy I should like, but no, it was fire man.

I mean, it's gonna be a crazy weekend.

I mean, this is just the beginning.

Tomorrow got game day, and then we got I mean, I'm playing with the guys, the players after that, so I mean then.

Speaker 2

We got the game, and so we got a lot.

We got a lot going on this weekend.

So fire it's all and it's all going to my foundation too, So that's the best part.

Speaker 1

Definitely tapping with the foundation for sure.

Also pick a ball team GM as well.

You know what I'm saying, hmm, it's going on.

Speaker 2

Be here.

You trying to sign man, they got wild Sha for that.

We can get you to day week.

My knees ain't right.

Guess what the team called?

Speaker 1

What?

Speaker 2

I guess.

Speaker 3

What?

Speaker 5

Try tell me it might't track the name might have tracked me.

And then the bouncers.

Speaker 2

Three.

Speaker 5

We're gonna rind some now.

Speaker 2

I can't wait to see the jersey.

Speaker 7

Yeah, these things back working again.

Long the hell with your name?

Atlanta Bouncers is crazy.

I'm just I'm just the owner, man, just the own.

It makes sense though, pickle ball.

You know what I'm saying, crazy, that's crazy.

Speaker 2

Not that.

Speaker 3

I mean there's a lot of it's a lot of clubs and a whole bunch of bouncers.

Speaker 2

Yeah, okay, so like that's how I took it.

Speaker 3

I mean, you get back were talking about Atlanta when you go to the strip club and then you gotta pick up the oh yeah, pick up the ones the dude that scrape up.

Speaker 5

The one respect Yeah, the name of that job.

Speaker 4

Let's keep it clean.

O, my far I forgot you tell us how you started the you know, the Young Family Athletics Center.

Speaker 2

A great transition.

Speaker 6

I want to go positive.

It's great talking about Yeah, no, my my, My Young Family Athletic Center.

Speaker 5

Yeah it was.

Speaker 6

I mean it's kind of like another YCA version like yeah, uh, I mean I grew up going to the YCA every day every day, playing pick up with guys after the school in the morning, before school, going to work out, so it's kind of like another version of that, Like it's I mean, as I think eight courts, I mean I have it's actually as a hospital connected to it.

So we have Yeah, so if a kid basically braces leg, yeah, you can go right there and not even get in the car and drive away.

Speaker 5

So that's crazy.

Speaker 6

We have people come in there and get rehab and use it for for other things other than basketball.

But we have basketball courts, we use it for volleyball, pickball, like, we have a whole bunch of other events that go on in the in the facility.

So I think it's where we're putting it to great use for sure, and it's something that I mean, I'm happy we got to do.

Speaker 1

Yeah, that's one thing I feel like that people really miss so much, especially with the younger generation.

Like we all grew up playing basketball.

It didn't matter which love you played, but she was always in the gym.

But the gym was a safe place to keep people away from doing other stuff, away from stuff.

Sure, home may be shaky, it was a safe haven.

Kids are gonna go outside play basketball no more.

Now, it's like for you to have something that people can just go and just beat themselves or be kids or just enjoy the stuff.

Speaker 2

That's dope, man.

Yeah, we definitely like that a lot nowadays, No for.

Speaker 6

Sure, And I mean I think that's why it's important like that.

I mean, guys continue to push like playing fives, like especially if you want to play.

I mean, just being active like that's that's kind of what it is for too.

And I think we have it after school program that I mean, it's not as already there.

I mean, I know that's something I wanted to do and we're gonna put that in.

So I mean, I think that's important for kids to have somewhere.

I used as a school program that my middle school.

Like my parents are working, you have places to go.

So I think that's a big reason why we're using it too.

So yeah, nah, that's dope, bro.

Speaker 1

It ain't a lot, man, just being out about with y'all and the team all day.

To see the impact in your city.

Even with always give him praise because he coaches Alla out of high school.

It's just like the impact is just being around change a lot of people lives.

Speaker 4

Man.

Speaker 1

So slu to you, Sleu to the team, the foundation, everything y'all do, or the community definitely walking.

And that's dope to see because a lot of people, you know what I'm saying, they get it and they run away.

You stuck it out here and you're making the lives around the city better.

Missiles salute to you.

Will get to the man for sure.

Speaker 3

And they gotta be dope to see your last name on a bill like that, You know what I mean.

That's fire man for sure.

Speaker 2

It's a blessing.

Speaker 1

Bro.

Speaker 4

I want to talk about the music side, Okay, I sing you in the booth with my boy man, send him in the booth with with with Kavou.

Speaker 5

What made you get in the booth now?

Is this song we're just doing as a hobby or we.

Speaker 2

We gotta?

Speaker 6

We got something with that song me and him made.

We we were doing something with with another brand and stuff.

We were switching lives.

We switched lives.

So I got to go in the booth for him and then he came on the court with me.

But that song that we made, uh ain't bro, ain't.

Speaker 2

I hear you?

Speaker 6

I ain't gonna tell you.

I gotta we got the feature on it too, and uh I got one of my other bros.

Speaker 2

Making my debut.

Speaker 5

Yeah, I got one of my other brothers that.

Speaker 2

They said they was gonna go for the you know, the other Atlanta point guard.

Speaker 1

Yeah, now I got we're gonna I'm talking about we're talking about going to drop it right before a training camp.

Speaker 2

Sound, so we got a surprise.

Nervous about it?

Speaker 5

What the song?

Speaker 6

No, I mean I I ain't do nothing much but the adalys and stuff.

So, I mean it's hard, it's fired.

I ain't gonna lie like everything's wrong.

You hear the the future we got with the guy we got like, you're gonna you're.

Speaker 5

Gonna be like ship Okay, stay told, hold on, like give us some context though.

Is it Atlanta artists?

Yeah?

Speaker 2

I mean yeah, it's all Atlanta Atlanta.

Speaker 5

Mm hmmm.

I think it's Chinese, bro, because it can't be.

It can't be.

These other mother I said they got like everybody work.

Speaker 3

It's because he was gonna see he got the he part owner of the sky.

Okay, I see what's going on.

So I'm gonna come in on a you got the hook now it's actually I got the story, bro.

Speaker 5

Yeah you can not not to like I'm not shot level.

Yeah, I'm saying.

Speaker 4

R J.

Speaker 2

Bro, I'm gonna go r J.

Speaker 1

He thought about it, think about it now, I'm gonna going r J R j R Better for sure, can definitely who better.

Speaking of who, listen, we gotta get back to it.

New season on the way, man, y'all had a hell of a off season.

Speaker 2

What's going on?

Speaker 6

He be he'd be gassing.

He got hot hopes for y'all.

How the number one, I feel I feel great.

I can't see I mean, the if we're healthy, I mean, it's it's going to be scary.

I mean for me, I'm not I'm not one to really want to talk about it right now.

Like I'm a guy that's one to let the player do the talking.

And I know if we healthy, all that's going to speak for itself.

So a great, No, I'm not I'm not worried.

Speaker 1

Uh.

Speaker 6

The only thing is that can stop us, in my mind is healthy.

So uh, we got a lot of talented players and a lot of guys that are playing for something too, So that'll that'll push guys to go with your hardest.

So when you got guys playing for something, I mean, that's that's scary.

And so we have we have health on the side.

Speaker 5

We got it.

Speaker 2

We got a chance.

Speaker 5

I got Jaalen being then All Star this year.

Speaker 2

I do too.

Speaker 4

I think I speak on the team too much, but yeah, I see him taking the big league.

BRO put me on to him last year like he really a special player for real.

Speaker 2

Yeah, before you got hurt, we was top five in the East.

Think about it.

I could understand that different.

Speaker 6

You may look at us the way we ended the season and all that, but I mean Jalen is forty five plus game I'm saying, and that's he was on an All Star level last year.

I mean on that track, you know what I'm saying to having his first All Star.

So I believe if he's something, he's gonna have his first All Star All Star this year.

And we haven't winning season and everything will be good.

Speaker 2

So I predict all NBA for you this year.

Speaker 3

Yeah, all start now, obviously, but I predict all NBA first second thing for sure.

Speaker 2

I think I'm gonna have a great year.

Speaker 3

Yeah, I've been telling everybody what the acquisitions y'all got ni kill for his aingist.

Speaker 2

I just think it's our time for sure, and the East is wide open.

Speaker 5

Yeah it is this week after wide open.

Speaker 2

Here, I'm saying you're still switching up on the magic.

Look, Tray, my god, off the court, I mean my bas.

Speaker 3

Jersey now he called it.

You know what, you'll know the joke.

Don't be stupid about it.

I'm rolling with the Hawks now.

Speaker 4

Look little look, bro, I hope you killed this.

I hope you average forty.

What I gotta rolled with my guy?

Speaker 2

Yeah, my god, we've been five.

Speaker 5

Yeah, you know.

Speaker 6

That's that's why I came on the show too, because I understand every everybody got their own you know what I'm saying, y'all, y'all always shown love, even both y'all.

You know what I'm saying, y'all got your tea.

I know y'all, y'all show love.

But now you're definitely just my favorite players.

I just like he'd be putting me onto a lot of ship.

But I didn't know you was that overlooked till I really start paying attention because I'm just a fan of the game.

Speaker 4

But I don't only be caring about the politics.

But I see you get overlooked a lot, and that's like that too much.

Speaker 2

Bro.

Just just just know when we when we take care of business, I'm just to hit you talk.

Yeah, you gotta do it.

We don't know what's going on thirty five.

Speaker 3

Like, I just please, when y'all come to Indiana, were coming to the game, don't worry about that.

Speaker 2

Speaker 3

Fit okay, and I just I want DJ.

I'm gonna do everything in my power.

I'm gonna wave my hands.

We're getting on a big board.

Speaker 2

Yeah.

Speaker 3

I got to see his face because I have to deal with this year.

When the Pacers made Dave.

Speaker 5
