Welcome to Let It Be Easy with Susie Moore.

Who would you be if you weren't busy remembering who you were?

Put it this way, imagine you a cup today, like some people do, in different parts of the world in different situations, and they have no past.

There is no memory, no recollection.

So there's no identity baked into who they are.

They're not thinking, oh, I'm the eldest child, I'm the responsible one, or I have a spicy personality, or I'm impatient, or I'm super confident, look what I've achieved.

Who would you be if you weren't busy remembering who you are?

Think about this.

Most of our limits are put upon us by us by loyalty to an old identity.

Are you someone who works in banking?

Are you someone who always knows what to do in a crisis?

Are you someone who's super flexible?

Who is a green bean, who just loves to eat the healthiest food in the world?

There's nothing wrong with identity, specifically when it serves us in our life.

But what if some old identity attachments just don't fit anymore and they're keeping us small?

This is why, in a lot of cases, when someone goes through a lot of growth, development, expansion, their circles change.

The people who they spend time with, it's different.

They expand in new ways and attract different people, different opportunities, different places.

That's because they are shedding appropriately, naturally, beautifully old identities.

Now, this has nothing to do with being disloyal.

Loyalty is something else altogether, and you can grow and expand while remaining true to the people in your life who deserve your loyalty.

But if you think about it, if you woke up today and there was no history of who you are, there was no resume, there was no LinkedIn profile, there was no dating history, there was no uh religious association, there was nothing.

There was just you, the world around you, and your five senses.

Who would you be?

Would you be goofy?

Would you be ambitious?

Would you be calm?

Would you be curious?

Would you be dying to get out there?

Would you be keen to explore your inner world?

What would excite you?

What would make you curious?

Identity can be a beautiful thing when it's healthy, when it is appropriate, when it feels aligned with you, when you're in your integrity.

But plenty of us have lots of old limits and old identities that don't fit anymore.

So if you woke up today where you are, is this where you want to live?

Is this who you want to spend time with?

Is this how you want to spend a weekend?

How much of what of what is around you was your idea?

What a refreshing and powerful question to ask yourself today.

Until tomorrow, my friends, so much love and ease.
