The looks, the outfits, the accessories, everything with characters in our favorite show are wearing.

We are going to talk about it all.

We're turning the gazebo of Stars Hollow into a runway.

We're going to talk about all these crazy clothes that these lovable characters wear.

It's so much fun.

And if you're just joining us, we're going episode by episode.

Okay, we went back to the beginning.

We're on episode three of season one.

This episode is called kill Me Now, Kill Me Now.

That is the title.

Hey guys, I'm figuring this out.

We're only three episodes into this, but here's what I've been doing.

Okay, I am going to go kind of beat by beat through this episode and point out the fashions, the outfits that I liked that I thought was interesting.

That I think is cool or I thought was crazy or bad, and we're going to kind of highlight those through the episode, and then at the end we're going to take a look back and see what our favorites were, what our least favorites were.

It's a lot of fun and this episode is crucial.

This is a big episode.

Okay, this is a major turning point in the world of Gilmore Girls.

I don't know if you rewatch this show every year, so many of my friends do it.

It's a really great fall show.

We're entering fall here in the year twenty twenty five.

It's a good time to go back and restart Gilmore Girls.

A lot of great fall outfits in this show.

And if you've seen this episode before, I know you have.

There's a really incredible hat that we will get into.

But I'm getting ahead of myself.

Let's go back to the beginning.

The episode opens up with a Friday night dinner.

The outfits here are pretty standard.

We've seen them at the other Friday night dinners.

But what stood out to me Emily's brooch.

She has like a starfish brooch, and I just loved it.

I kept going back to it.

It was so cute and fun.

And I know the scenes with Emily and Richard and Lorile can be very tense, but I think that broach brings a little bit of whimsy to an otherwise somewhat uncomfortable dinner.

I loved it.

I love that starfish brooch.

And this episode, Rory decides she's going to play golf with her grandfather with Richard.

It's her first time playing golf, and Richard's waiting for Rory to show up for this golf game where they're going to have some bonding moments.

And this is kind of an in Universe fashion moment here.

Richard's wearing this like argyle pattern sweater vest with an off white short sleeve polo and he's got some tan slacks and Emily looks at him and she's like, is that what you're wearing?

And Richard's very offended at this comment.

He loves his outfit.

I'm kind of with Emily here.

You know, I have a I'm very forgiving when it comes to golf outfits.

I don't play golf myself, but the clothes can be crazy, so there's a lot you can get away with.

But I don't like this outfit of his This the vest.

He's wearing a very very deep V.

I think it looks weird with the polo shirt.

I mean, I think guy's wearing the polar shirt because that V would be going down to near the mid drift there.

It's not a great outfit.

I really think if he had a sweater vest that kind of maybe went all the way up to the collar up to his neck, if we didn't have that V, it would look a lot better.

But so Richard's wearing this crazy golf outfit.

Rory shows up and this is a crucial moment in Gilmar Girl's okay.

Throughout the show, Lorele and Rory where they have a long line of questionable hats, and this is the first time in the show that we get to see this bizarre headwear.

Rory.

It shows up to play golf and she's not really ready for it.

She's not wearing the like knickers, she's not wearing like the plaid you would normally stay on a golf course.

She's wearing like a a purple button up shirt and these khaki slacks.

And Emily gives her a hat to wear and it's a it's it's a knitted like golf hat.

You know, if you just close your eyes and picture golf hat, you will see this.

It's like kind of a it's almost a breat it's got a little pomp palm on the top, and it's yellow, g and red.

And this is a it's a very funny hat, and it is stuck in our minds, in our hearts, and in our memories.

Now here's something else we're going to do on this show.

Everybody, if there's like a really iconic outfit or an accessory, I'm going to tell you where you can get it today.

Okay, if you want to dress up like Rory or Loralai or Luke, I'm going to tell you where to get these things here.

And we're off to a great start.

Because here's the thing about this hat.

I spent I spent an entire day, eight hours, an entire workday, from open to clothes looking for a replica of this hat, and it is so hard to find.

Some people on Reddit have found similar ones at thrift stores, but I haven't been able to find the exact colored hat like available for you.

I'm very sorry about that.

And the googling is difficult because searching Rory Gilmore golf hat.

There's a golf movie called Happy Gilmore throwing awful lot of the results there.

There's also a professional golfer whose name is Rory, so that it's it was tough, but a lot of people have had luck at thrift stores.

So if you're in the New England area and your go to thrift stores, keep a lookout for this hat if you want it.

I mean, I personally wouldn't want to wear this, but it is fun and I think if you're wear it around town, you're gonna get a lot of people who are Gilmour Girls fans running up to you.

It's a lot of fun.

So they they go to play golf.

Loralai is not really dressed for the occasion, but she's got that cool hat.

Everyone loves her.

Everyone's excited to talk to her.

And then that night at Luke's, Rory is still wearing the hat.

It's great.

There's a scene where she and Laura I are having a meal Luke's and Rory is still has that She's long off the golf course.

She's still wearing this like rosta colored hat, this yellow, green and red golf hat and Luke's outfit.

In this scene is great.

He looks fantastic.

Oh my god.

He's been wearing a flannel for most of this show, but at this point he's wearing this denim shirt.

It's a western style denim shirt and it's it's like a classic Wrangler pearl snap shirt.

Now, this one you can get.

It's a Wrangler branded shirt.

You can get it on the Wrangler website and on at Walmart.

We know Walmart loves Gilmore Girls stuff.

They have a version of this at Walmart.

Not the exact same one that Luke is wearing.

I think that's a vintage one, but it's very similar.

He's just wearing it.

It's just an pearl snap shirt Western shirt from Wrangler.

It looks so good on him.

He's again he's got it layered with a long sleeve shirt.

He's got the sleeves rolled up.

So far, this has been my favorite Luke look.

I mean, he entered the frame and I was like taking a bag.

I was like, oh my goodness, looks so good in that shirt.

I love it.

I started immediately shopping for one for myself.

The pearl buttons, that's what you really got to focus snap pearl buttons.

You gotta make sure that is part of the shirt if you're going to try and replicate this look.

Okay, So the next day, there's this moment between lore lyon Rory that is very uncomfortable and it's about it's centered around the close of this episode.

But before we talk about that, these nice people want to talk to you about goods and services that you may want to patronize.

This is season one, episode three, me now, and there's a moment that this is a this is a rough Loreli moment here.

Okay.

So it's the next day, after Rory and Richard have played golf.

Laura and Rory are on their porch.

They're reading and Laura, I's wearing this really nice purple sweater.

Great sweaters and go more girls.

I don't have to say that.

I don't have to remind you guys of that.

But there are great sweaters in Gomere girls, and this is another example of that.

She's wearing a really nice purple sweater.

Looks very very soft, looks very cozy.

Lorlai clearly very upset at how at Rory's time with Richard with her dad.

Loralai not not great here.

This is a this is a very weird scene.

Uh, I know this is controversial.

I've looked this scene up online.

It's it's a really weird fight.

I don't like it.

So Rory's wearing Laurlai is like red sweater and apparently she didn't again a nice sweater, great fall sweater.

She did not ask if she could borrow it.

They get into a fight about Rory borrowing Lorelei's clothes without asking her, and then it becomes this really intense argument about whose boobs are bigger and thus who stretches out more sweaters, and Lorelei is acting awful here, just terrible.

It made me so frustrated, and I felt so bad for Rory.

How are you supposed to live with a mother like this?

It's terrible, But on a lighter note, I kind of enjoyed the argument because it also it reminded me of a moment from another great sitcom, Seinfeld.

There is a Seinfeld episode where James Spader, the guest star, won't allow George to borrow his cashmir sweater because George's bulbous head stretched out the neck the neck of the sweater and thus ruined it.

So watching characters argue about who is actually stretching out a sweater remind me of Seinfeld.

That was a very fun moment and another fun fashion moment from the World to Tell Vision.

But yeah, yeah, a really weird moment there.

Even though the sweaters are great, they look really soft, they look really comfortable, but I did not like the threat to gravi a tape measure and measure who has bigger boobs.

That was really weird for me.

So let's go The next day, Lorale and Souki are walking through town.

They're talking about the argument.

Soki's wearing this really wild tight ice shirt that also jumped out at me.

There's a lot of fun tight eye and go mar girl.

So far it's like a it's a black tiight ie shirt with this design.

I could not make out what this design was on the front there was like something screen printed onto the front of it, and it's just this it's almost like a rorshact test.

I saw a bird, I saw myself as an infant, I saw my future.

So then you know there's not much more of the episode before it ends, So we gotta go back in here through this episode.

This is season one, episode three.

Kill me now.

It's Rory golfing with Richard.

That hat, that golf hat, it's I mean that will burn brightly in the history of Gilmour Girls.

Again the first and a long line of very strange hats.

But I love how much Rory likes the hat.

I think it looks cute on her.

It's also it's just a weird hat.

We love weird stuff here.

It's great.

And again, it seems like you can only really find a version of this hat if you get lucky at a thrift sooce so keep your eyes peeled if you want to replicate this look.

That is the most iconic look of the episode, is this golf hat.

But I do want to give Luke his flowers.

This is the best I've seen Luke so far.

I love that cool denim Wrangler shirt with the pearl snaps got he looks so good.

I love it.

I want to get one myself.

I won't look like Luke when I put it on, but I can come damn close.
