As a kid from Newfoundland, Canada, a fishing island, Chad Richardson, founder of Toigo’s Door, wanted to change his world view and experience different cultures. He was in a hometown band during his teenage years before moving to Paris to become a chef—his plan B. It was during that time that he found his way back to music. Years later, he got his break and landed the lead role in the Broadway musical “Rent.” To step away from the fame and spotlight, he turned to songwriting and found his passion for developing A-list songwriters and fighting for songwriter rights. After a stint as a music executive in LA, he turned his own business into a web3 music NFT consulting company and launched Toigo’s Door, where the future of music is onchain.
