Welcome back to Tabletop Diaries, we'll be playing Shout out Chris Scroll Zine volume 1 Dialberry episode 9 the story so far.
Y'all returned to Waterwood after defeating bandits and underlook and a suspicious looking knight of Idris.
Back in Waterwood, a funeral is held for Gertie, one of the fallen Archers.
Allure arrives through magical teleportation.
You all have talks with her.
Discuss what has happened.
Decide to go back to Hope's Keep with her to discuss more of her findings.
While at Hope's Keep you find out Laura was able to decipher some of the ancient books that Durack has.
You find out where Bitter Mold Keep is.
You also find out some truth about these so-called patrons that some aren't actually gods but more of higher Eldridge beings that disguise themselves as gods.
You also find out through Titania's statue what her purpose for the gloaming is and how basically the tower and her obelisk, her monolith and not that far from Pope's Keep that you all have run into is some sort of.
It might be some sort of portal to a different realm, possibly the Fay realm.
Unsure of if it's a one way or if it's just acting as a conduit, you get the impression that Tanya uses this realm.
It's kind of like a play thing for her.
She doesn't take it too seriously, which may or may not be in your favor.
With this newfound knowledge and this odd message from another worldly being, something of the realms are not watching you.
You guys decide to make your way back to Warder Wood through Laura's teleportation magic, where you find yourself in the middle of town.
I believe there's some discussions about possibly taking the river or just putting it on foot through the woods, but you seem to be on the path of trying to find your ex.
Seem to be on the path of getting ourselves killed.

A gate where you see some maybe humanoid figures standing up and it goes deep within a ways you would see as you're walking up to it, but you kind of see inside past it.
There's even another basically top hill probably in the middle or further back of this palisade that seems like a smaller little guarded area at the very top.
Clearly it's deeper in through the palisade.
This place looks pretty big for as far as like villages go that you've seen.
So as we're walking up 4050 foot palisade, there's a gate, Maybe some humans, humanoids and then seeing from over the top.
You see something, there's the top, like some sort of house structure.
Further in behind that front wall, yeah.
Can we get closer to see those humanoids better if they are guards, you know, if they are properly dressed, Does it?

You walk through the forest headed east and you come up to it pretty quickly.
It is a soaring high stronghold that at first glance it looks pretty impressive.
As you get closer and closer you start to see all sorts of imperfections.
Overgrown vines, cracks in the walls, pieces of the tops, missing parts of the tower, some towers completely just destroyed, shattered stained glass windows as they start to get closer and closer.
Basically an abandoned stronghold and it just gives you a really uneasy feeling, but you make it basically to the front gate at the door.
There is no like gate is completely destroyed.
It's just a giant opening.
And Mrs.
Redcap try to compare the vines that she sees to the the vines that the Bog thorn had around it.
These are just regular vines, nature grown after centuries upon centuries.
You all would recognize this from the tails it etchings and patterns along the wall itself in certain old decrypted like signpost if you will, as you're walking around of the green Knights, which you know of tale to be what the Knights of Aegis used to be.
There's a great tale has been told.
These Knights were fighting evil.
They were basically the stand up good guys until this.
The Gloaming became the Gloaming and you're basically seeing an ancient relic from the past somehow still standing, this giant stronghold of what used to be the Green Knights.

This was like a giant stronghold like walls with like that like a just kind of like an inner city ish.
And then like the main structures in the middle on the inside.
If you were to walk into this, you can get to the castle and if you want to walk around the entire thing to see if there's like a exit there, here's like ships on the wall, but it's just a, it's a wall.
So basically you'd have to go out and walk around completely to go around to the other side.
