But so yeah, we're gonna see where this podcast goes.
There's gonna be a little bit of w NBA talk, a little bit of pop culture talk, maybe some fashion food travel.
It's wide open, yeah, a little mo.
And speaking of mo, the name of this podcast is to Show Me Something podcasts.
Yeah.
Uh, and it's not because I have it tattooed on my I did not know.
Yeah, I was drunk at a dinner and they had a tattoo.
Drunk tattoo too.
You're the waves.
Speaker 2Sober for that one is.
Speaker 1No?
What's that?
No?
Speaker 2This is our family tat Our whole family has this.
Speaker 3You We like to go to the beach, drain can out like mom's sister, aunt, cousin's uncle.
Speaker 2Everyone has it.
Yeah, my dad won't get it.
Speaker 1I was gonna say your early where's Paula's same, Everyone's is right here?
Oh sick?
Yeah, okay, Well I can't get it.
And then sem, are you I've got the space occupied?
Are you trying to be part of the family?
Coddin would, But so I think we're just gonna We're gonna let it fly, let's do it and see where things go.
But I will say, we are in the middle of the w NBA season.
Yeah, uh, so you're going to be the star of the first few episodes because there's a lot going on in your world.
Thanks, people being fined, fights, highlights.
Is that all me?
Are you just talking about me at this point?
Yeah?
But you're okay.
You just told me've been in Indiana for three Yeah, how's the transition.
It's hard to know it's good your relationship with the city until you're here.
For you No.
Speaker 3A thousand, we're saying because I was with Phoenix for the past six years, seven years almost, and I loved it out there, like it was just so much different.
Speaker 2I'm such a like outside pool girl.
Speaker 3I think you know that, and so I loved it out there, but it was just time for a switch up.
Speaker 1And so when I got.
Speaker 3Traded here, I literally got here very very end of April early May, and so I've loved it.
Like I've missed the Midwest people, I've missed the culture.
People are just so nice here.
Speaker 1Food's good.
Speaker 3I get meat loaf really like wherever I go, Like I've had meat loaf in so long.
Speaker 2The West Coast don't.
Speaker 1Eat meat loaf, Yeah I wouldn't.
Speaker 2Yeah, they eat like rabbits.
Speaker 1Rabbits just fine.
Speaker 2But i missed my meatloaf.
And so I'm just happy to do back here.
Speaker 3And like the team is phenomenal, some of the best teammates I've had in a really long time.
Speaker 1So like I'm actually happy.
Uh, I'll just get this out of the way because I know people will be interested.
Yeah, one of your teammates arguably one of the biggest stars the WNBA's ever.
Who's that pad Her name Ramsa Schmitland.
Uh Kirtland.
Yeah, what has that been like seeing her not only kind of transform a league but.
Speaker 3Also just be like, no, not even just the league, but like women's basketball as a whole around the world.
Speaker 2No, I think it's awesome.
Speaker 3I think it's so funny because she's like twenty two to twenty three years old and the whole world is watching her.
Yeah, like it is a cult following.
I'm not kidding.
Speaker 1No, it's airport.
The airport today insane.
It was like twenty two everywhere.
Speaker 3Anywhere you go, like it is a home game wherever we play, Like she security with her twenty four seven.
Like people are outrageous, Like think of the most famous person that you know or met times of by ten twenty it's insane.
Speaker 1I mean she had like a less celebs in Iowa City, Iowa to watch Iowa exactly in Iowa.
Travis Scotland, my brother in to Iowa, so Gohawks.
Speaker 2I mean we're from Missouri, so I think we can.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 3I mean I got in trouble for talking you smack on Detroit, Cincinnati or was it Cleveland?
Speaker 1Is Cleveland, and then you try to make it up by talking about you said you liked Boston.
Speaker 2I loved Boston.
I really do like Boston.
Speaker 3I was just saying, if you're gonna like expand our leagues, then like go put it in Nashville.
Speaker 2You know how much fun people would have in Nashville.
Speaker 3And then like Miami, you're next to the beach, like people are gonna be excited to go there.
I'm not saying that people from Detroit or Cleveland are bad people.
People who literally took it like that.
I'm like, you guys are being freaking drama.
Speaker 1That's the internet though, how the internet works.
You know a little bit something about that.
I do, uh, But I I think it's also ironic that most Caitlin Clark plays for the Indiana Fever.
Yeah, which I don't know if a lot of people would consider Indiana to be the biggest, but I mean it is.
Speaker 3Now, it is what you say because of her.
Literally yeah, but you know, we love the Midwest, we love where we're from.
Speaker 1What's playing with Kaitlin been like for you?
Like, what's something her as a teammate, Like not something that's like on.
Speaker 2ESPN, But dude, she's just goofy.
Speaker 3Yeah, Like she's goofy, and like I think that's the everyone expects her to be a certain way, and she is on the court, but like she is just she's a she's low key a kid, like she's twenty three years old.
Like she's like my little cousin, you know what I mean.
And so it's been fun just to kind of like see where she's at in her career and what not.
But I promise you she's like so chill, she doesn't care.
She's always in sweats in a sweatshirt like she she literally does not care.
Speaker 1Has her game made like change the way you play?
It made you better?
Speaker 3Well, I just think that like the style of basketball is like more of an motion offense, which is like right up my alley for someone who cuts and can shoot the ball like that.
Speaker 2I am freaking looking my chops every.
Speaker 3Single game she plays because when she draws so much attention dude cutting shooting like uh so, Like, yes, of course, but I think she's the type of player who makes everyone player or everyone better who everyone player?
We need to talk about how we always knew you were going to be famous, but we just didn't know how or when.
Speaker 1Yeah, because you were like big man on campus and he didn't work out, damn it.
But you were a star in high school football.
I thought track, you were fast.
Thought so thank you?
Speaker 2No for real, especially for a white boy, Come on, say less.
Speaker 1Dude, Cooper Dejean just got uh put in the top one hundred NFL players.
Did you see that?
He's the white cornerback from.
Speaker 2Oh yeah, yeah yeah, are you comparing yourself to him.
Speaker 1No, no, but no one.
There hasn't been a white cornerback in like twenty years, and he's just crushing.
Well, it's kind of crazy.
Good for him.
High school, I was in student council too.
People don't know that, so were you?
No?
Speaker 2Yeah, yeah, I was a class rep.
I was just there to get out of class, really.
Speaker 1Get out of class.
Throw the theme parties.
Speaker 3Yeah, the our theme parties were freaking banger.
Actually, we need to talk about our field parties, foreign parties.
Speaker 1Yes, dude, Yeah, I'm surprised.
My dad actually let me throw two of them, I know.
Speaker 3And I had to go home with your dad and you the one time the cops got cops came because he's.
Speaker 1Like, scatter you with me.
I was like, oh, what did I do?
Someone called it in and we still don't know.
I think I know who did.
Speaker 2But because they weren't invited, which I wasn't that.
Speaker 1I'm not the type to like not invite people to parties.
No, I am consider myself inclusive, but it was no because it was that This is actually crazy that our high school had a club called Sigma Gamma.
Remember that was dumb as hell, but it was for those girls and they like three parties.
No, it's I think it's dumb.
Speaker 3I wasn't a part of the part of that wasn't cool enough.
But I was busy winning state championships.
Speaker 1Look at me now, true so true.
Instead of drinking, you're drink.
Speaker 3Uh.
Speaker 1Those were awesome.
Andy Turner probably is who I think of when you think of farm parties.
Speaker 2Okay, so let's like clue them in a little bit.
Speaker 3Farm parties were Primasouri and so like in the city we would have like house parties and whatnot, but they'd always get busted.
Speaker 1Yeah, and they're hot.
Speaker 2They were.
They were just like too many people.
Speaker 3Down in the basement, and so we would go out to people who had a bunch of land and they were far parties and they were the most fun that Evans remember Evans, Andy.
Speaker 1He started to Josh Evans tried to fight me one time and at his barn, I was I like, texted he was dating Natalie him oh yeah, oh my god, yeah, And I texted her like he definitely suck or something, and yet so mad and I I pleaded like nonchalt, I was like to chill out.
The stupidest story I've heard and he turned a big farm parties and he was like an hour away and people would find dds so fun key, yes, and then just roll out for an hour to a to a barn.
Speaker 3Well.
I remember Audrey and I we were out there one time, multiple times, but there was one specific time and we were like out there till like three A m got up on a table and broke that really big wooden table because us two got up there dancing.
Speaker 1One time, he he wanted to kick people out and he fired a shotgun into the air.
Speaker 3I was there, yeah, and I knew that he was about to do that, but I didn't think he was actually gonna.
Speaker 1Do for us get people out of your party?
Speaker 2You shoot a shotgun in the air legally, yeah.
Speaker 1Uh okay.
Speaker 3But back to you, seriously, we always knew that you were gonna be famous, and now you're on freaking Bravo for Summerhouse.
Speaker 2How did that even come about?
Speaker 1I don't even know, Like I didn't even really know what Bravo was.
And you watched Do you watch your Summerhouse or other stuff?
No?
Speaker 3I well, so, like growing up, I would watch different shows, but I didn't know it was with Bravo.
I only really started watching Bravo, and I didn't know what Summerhouse was until you.
Speaker 1Were on it.
I mean I mean like literally did either.
Yeah.
Uh so work did bleacherport for a long time.
Speaker 3Yeah, laid off, which I kind of feel like that would be a cool job.
Speaker 1Though it was awesome.
Yeah, everything was everything was great and then one day, why did you get laid off?
They laid off a lot of people.
Speaker 2But I mean, girl, did you text this time?
Speaker 1No?
It wasn't even a girl.
Speaker 3Uh.
Speaker 1They laid off a lot of people, but I mean I was like a very I was traveling, going to like different sporting events doing what.
Yeah, and like I think my expenses were probably more than my salary was because like airport, hotel, club, bust another club, they not cover it.
They do, But I just mean I would have been an expensive person to like keep around.
And if they thought my they needed less of me.
They were like, it makes sense to get rid of me.
I can see you spending a lot of money at a certain thing.
You get drunk, not you can't spend money.
You can't spend you can't use your corporate card while you're drinking.
For the most part, I mean I did once or twice probably.
Speaker 3Uh.
Speaker 1But it was to a point though where I was like not living.
I wasn't even in New York because I was always gone, and I was like, I'm gonna I'm not gonna like order a salad and drink water every restaurant I go to, Like I'm gonna like go see a friend and like have dinner.
Yeah, but that's not again got fired.
No, I just mean it.
I was like expensive, So it makes sense.
And they I'll give them a shout out to great severance after like they took care of me, after they maaid me off, and now you're a complex great company.
Also.
Speaker 3Yeah, and I feel like you're killing you there and you're going to meet a lot of cool freaking people doing that job too.
Speaker 1Yeah that was awesome.
Yeah yeah, Tom Brady a few weeks ago, did you really know we do?
How much botox does he have?
He probably does, but he's very handsome.
I don't.
Speaker 2I think I like more like a manly man.
Speaker 1I don't want my man like a rip from Yellowstone.
No, like a.
Speaker 2Don't have botox in your head anywhere.
Speaker 1Well, i'd get that, Like you'll mind a guy like that here?
Probably I'm good you know how like high school teams are like no no dating during season, can you?
Speaker 3College was like I feel like college high school and college was kind of like that.
Speaker 2Jim was her name, Robin Pinchton?
Speaker 3Pinchton, Yeah, yeah, but like if you look back, who cares?
Speaker 1But also you're surrounded by because you're in school and in the same under the same department, You're like always around other So I just mean I could see how they would want to protect you.
Speaker 3Yeah, but like unless it's like toxic or something, then I totally get that, Like then you shouldn't be with them.
But like if it's fun and whatever, who cares you're driving?
Speaker 2Did you date people in college?
Speaker 1Dude?
What is it all the time?
Speaker 3No time out dating?
I'm talking about dating, like just with one person.
Speaker 1Did I have a girlfriend in college?
Well, you know who I kind of for a while.
I already know, but go ahead.
Yeah, I'm not dropping names on this, not right now.
She's doing fine, she is.
Are you guys still in contact?
Why?
But that like because no, but that lasted into college for a while, do you know what?
I was just thinking, Yeah, that gets cut.
So yeah, I kind of like kept that alive for a while.
And then take your moment.
Oh my god, I'm sweating.
You know, I'm actually doing okay.
I'm not good at like I'm not good at.
Speaker 2Being vulnerable or just ver emotions or.
Speaker 1Having beef with people.
Speaker 3Like No, I don't really feel like you're a beef type of person, but honestly, you did catch some major beef after season one.
Speaker 2Yeah, dude, what have you learned about that?
Speaker 1Like for real?
Speaker 3Like, I think it's different when people can meet you in person, because I feel like we both can do like relate to this and like everyone has so many things to say about us, but then once they meet you in person, like, oh, you're actually not like that at all, or like, oh you're a lot more chill, or like you're a lot more whatever.
Speaker 2But like you got a lot of slack after season one.
Speaker 1Yeah, Doug, I got I was fucking at war dude.
Uh damage control?
I mean that was really hard and I've never experienced anything like that ever.
Yeah, I don't think anyone can be prepared for anything like that.
Yeah, you would be dumb, though, one to not look in the mirror and like it's such a crazy situation that like and obviously there's so many people who have opinions that you shouldn't ignore everything, Like if a lot of people are upset with you, there's probably a reason.
Speaker 3Yeah, but it's also reality TV, so you don't know what was cut, what was actually said, what the actual relationship was.
Yeah, so I was trying to give you, like the benefit of the doubt.
There are some things, but like that's perfect.
So you're fine, right, But.
Speaker 1I just think the Internet is like a dangerous spot.
But that was, honestly, I think good for me in a sense that it was so intense the first year I did it.
I don't think it's really going to ever be like that ever again.
Speaker 3So you feel like season two was much more.
What was the vibe of season two?
I enjoyed season two just.
Speaker 1Chilling really, Yeah, I just mean it was such a the highs and lows of my first For sure, you're doing it.
We're so crazy that here we are, I will say, though, I've been doing shit on the internet though for a while, so I kind of like seeing how the internet works and like it's not the first time someone has like said something neat, you know what I mean.
So we're good.
Yeah, Yeah, I don't get fine though.
Speaker 3I do I know, but I also blow up on the internet because I fought.
Speaker 1Someone so, which is so sick.
Speaker 2Honestly, it is funny.
It is funny because I think.
Speaker 1Good in like for a good reason.
Yeah, well wasn't she?
Speaker 3Yeah, let me just tell people the story real quick from because I don't think I've gotten to really tell.
My point of view of things is, like you you have seen players in our league try to like toughen up Caitlin we call our cc CC even when I wasn't on her team, Like I like I know the talks that Phoenix had in the locker room of like no, we're going to prove her.
Speaker 2We're going to show her what the w really is, you know what I mean?
Speaker 3And like I get to do it and a certain extent, and like every rookie coming into a league, that's how you're going to treat them.
Speaker 2But there's just more for her.
Speaker 3So it's her second new her and like now be on her team and like sing it like what are people doing?
Like actually, just it's just too much, too much, and like you're do it's just I'm over And if I'm saying it's too much, then it's probably too that's like that's fair, right, Yeah, And so we were playing Connecticut and like there's just one thing after.
Speaker 1Another, and like, do you have a little beef before the game?
No, there was nothing.
Speaker 3No, like, oh, actually the girl who I did do that too, she did chip my tooth, but I wasn't.
Speaker 2Worried in a different game, yeah, the game before.
Speaker 3So we played them all like four times the first time we played them and she didn't mean to do it, but like she shech my tooth.
Speaker 1Get it fixed?
Yeah, smile.
I can't even tell, can you?
Speaker 2It's a little discolored.
Speaker 1Discolored, yeah, a little bit, but just what part of her body chip your tooth?
Speaker 3Well, actually I'll show you guys the picture.
But it like we like literally cracked teeth in the middle of the game.
Is a face to face is like wow, yeah, I.
Speaker 1Get good kidding.
I hated it.
Speaker 2No, No, I don't wear my mouth.
Speaker 1PE's OK.
Speaker 3So anyway, so there, but I didn't care, Like that wasn't why that happens.
Speaker 1You know what I mean?
And so, but is there any substance in that It set the tone that this was gonna be a little physical matchup.
Speaker 3Just that game in general, there was just like there's a couple of players on their team that are just do do a little bit extra stuff like just chippy talking like you're you're a professional athlete, Like that's what happens, right.
Speaker 1You see it more because you the people act like this towards.
Speaker 2Yes, a thousand percent, oh it is.
Speaker 3And so so I finally like this was like we're like fourteen games in and so like that game, I just thought I was kind of hungry.
Speaker 2I know, I was a little tired.
Speaker 1Like I'm not even gonna lie to you, I was hungry and tired.
Speaker 2I was over people's ship and so awesome.
Speaker 3So in the in the first half, the resident call someone should have been thrown out and.
Speaker 1The rest of not call it correct.
Speaker 2I remember that they didn't, and so I was like.
Speaker 1All right, I got full body chip three people like two people.
They're like, oh, it's fine.
Speaker 3I'm like, if that was anyone else, you would have I would have been booted out the game.
Speaker 2I know that for sure.
Speaker 1Well sassy, but like so were they.
Speaker 3Literally I don't even have a leisha, I just have a freaking collar and a hand on it.
Anyway, So there was like forty five seconds left.
The girl stole the ball and I was running back and I was like, we're up.
I don't need a foul.
And I was like, just let her go.
And I was like, all right, like who cares last second intrusive thoughts.
Speaker 1I was like, fuck it, yeah, And I like, at.
Speaker 3First I just tried to like hold her and like put her like wherever.
Just let me explain.
I know what it looked like.
Speaker 1I got her.
Speaker 3But at the very end, and I'm not saying this is what cost it, but she dipped a little bit like she was, but she did dip, and then right myself, I was like, oh shit, like my bad, not really my bad.
Speaker 1And then they both came out and me I was like, fuck it.
Come.
Did you get fine for that?
Yeah?
Speaker 2Like nine hundred dollars, which, like our fines are.
Speaker 1The coolest part about that fight is that your face.
I didn't care, was stone cold, dude.
But that's what I'm saying.
So I think it was so sick.
Speaker 3People legit are like, oh it's all I'm like, dude, that was real.
Speaker 1You've had her.
Speaker 3I didn't even have her buy the hair.
And because I feel like girls are kind of like it's always hair, it's always hair.
I'm like my mom Paula.
She's always like, if you're gonna do something, don't be catty, don't don't go the hair like you better, you gotta do it.
Speaker 1Do it.
She's saying, it's like cheap.
Yeah yeah, And.
Speaker 3So I grabbed her by the neck.
But I was calm, cool and collected, like I knew.
But I was like, if you're gonna do something to her, then do it.
And you got tossed and it's two on one.
Yeah I got tossed, did she Yeah?
Yeah, then we're good.
Speaker 1So in a situation like that, does Kaitlyn come up to you after and say, like, because the internet, the whole thing was looking fucking Sophe's taking up for Kaitlyn like this is dope, but I I was.
Speaker 3But in the locker room she goes she I think she was like finally, you know, like finally someone I was.
Speaker 1I was like, dude, I got you.
Speaker 3Like it's but but I think that kind of had our team come together as a whole and it's like, no, we had to have like it was it was a yeah, no, it it really was though, Like I feel like everyone was like, you know, like we do have to protect each other and like.
Speaker 1Can I ask you something so insane?
Sure?
Does it feel like that's is that your moment of in then wnba.
Speaker 2Yeah, which he's crazy, Like that's not even insane.
Speaker 1That's hundreds of fan edits, Dude.
Speaker 3I'm not even saying I went from I went from I think like oh followers, yeah, three hundred and fifty thousand and like maybe two hundred thousand on TikTok.
Speaker 1You had two thousand on TikTok a month ago.
Speaker 3No no, no, I no I before the fight, before the fight, and then I had like three hundred and fifty on one hundred thousand on Instagram over over the night or over like a day and a half, over a million on both insane.
Speaker 1I this is coming from me, though, dude.
Speaker 2I got tired of seeing myself.
Speaker 3I get it, and I love that I get it.
I love myself.
I was over it.
I was like, get this bitch off my screen.
Speaker 1And it's at sick though, because there's like like music and it's like it's just so tight.
Speaker 3Oh yeah, but then you yeah, yeah, yeah, oh yeah.
I definitely say that's my moment, which is like I've worked my whole life to become a w NBA basketball player and now people know me as wwe wwe.
Speaker 1Yeah fighter yet Oh I didn't know that that was so recent because I saw you had a million on TikTok today.
Yeah.
Speaker 2No, it like blew up overnight.
Speaker 1I mean that's awesome, though, who do that mean?
Speaker 3Like, being my natural feisty, sassy self would put me where God wanted me.
Speaker 1Do you get any fights in college?
No, dude, I mean I was chippy.
Yeah, it's definitely chippy.
Yeah yeah, But like I also don't think I retweeted a bunch of shit, uh in your Someone was like someone someone Quo tweeted the fight and was like, you're gonna try and fight like some miss a country girl from Missouri, Like you're gonna lose ten in times And I was like.
Speaker 2Damn armstrong Biber.
Speaker 1Well, yeah, I don't have a million followers anywhere.
So congrats to you.
It's thanks man, sweet, thank you.
That's awesome when you post.
Speaker 3Now, I knew you were going to say something like this, Well are the people that like weird as hell?
Speaker 1Yeah?
But keep going?
Well do you have is it?
Is it a lot of women or do you ever get like thirsty guys.
Is it thirsty guys?
It's all old thirsty guys.
I didn't want it to be that, but of course duh.
Speaker 3But it's funny because I have asked so many people are like, oh, like, how do you feel like what?
Speaker 1I'm like?
Speaker 3Dude, I'm still like the biggest dork and dweeb you will ever in your life, Like now I just.
Speaker 1Have Oh I find it offensive.
So someone says like, have you changed, like what in what way?
Maybe my bank account?
Yeah, shout out Arby's, so I should have brought you some roast babes.
Yeah.
Have you been an Arby's person before?
Dude?
Speaker 2I love Arby's really, I do love Armies.
Speaker 1I'm not even kidding.
Good, No, you can love Arby's.
I know it's the sauce.
We used to go There's and then you just got a bad rap.
I haven't been, But have you been a lying choice a Saint Louis?
We used to have one in Columbia, Yes, yes, but rid of it thinly sliced roast beef.
But there's Ship's like could not like nationally manufactured like an Arby's would be.
Speaker 3No Arby's is I get their sliders Arby sliders are buying in is roast beef.
Speaker 2You can do roast beef, ham and cheese like a buffalo.
Speaker 1Chicken, and you do a curly fry obviously.
Yeah, it's silk.
Do any of you know any other hot girls who like armies besides you?
Speaker 2Damn the only hot girl that I know so far.
Speaker 1But I wear the hot dudes or mediocre dudes whatever.
You could just wear hot girls.
Can you give me like an excel good yeah?
Or double and they'll do you like a little crop top?
Oh god, what, No, I've just been I've been wearing shorter shirts recently.
I think it looks good for my portions.
I'm not like that tall.
Speaker 2But what do you mean shorter shorts or shorter shirts.
Speaker 1Like it makes your legs look long.
I like a baggy shirt, like a boxy fit.
Yeah, but if I want to get a double XL sometimes it's a little long.
Oh, so I'll just crop it.
Du Yeah that's what I'm saying.
Oh, just agent like what I would wear.
No, but I did do that for a photo shoot last summer and people thought it was cool.
It was me eating hot dogs with a shirt that said all dogs go to heaven.
I was on the beach and it was fucking suit dude.
Actually was a little funny.
Speaker 3Let's talk about this though, because I feel like this is such a thing for I know the league, and now I think you'll become a little fashionista icon.
Speaker 1I gotta get you a banana, dude.
Speaker 3I need one.
I want to wear it in the tunnel fit.
Oh my god, I'm not kidding.
Speaker 1No, no, I'll make that happens.
Speaker 3Please tell me where that came from, because it's awful but it's turned good.
Speaker 1Yeah, okay, thanks.
Uh.
It is funny though, how the internet works.
Were like the whenever that I wore that in an episode episode aired first two days, first season, no, this past one, Yeah, and everyone's like, who's you think he is?
Like he's not asap rocky, Like he's fucking stupid bowl.
Speaker 2I love how grinds people's gears.
Speaker 1But then you sit on it a little and then someone and tags you, and then it like keeps going, and then it became like, dude, such a thing, and then people were like claiming that I started it.
I've never claimed to start in the you know what.
Speaker 3When I was watching that episode, I was like, to me, but I'm like, I'm like, I'm I'm never surprised at what you wear.
You know what?
Speaker 1I paired it with a Hallie Karns T shirt.
Yeah I do.
Speaker 3But just like, yeah, I'm just saying like I'm never not shocked anymore with what you're wearing.
Speaker 1That's that's the hardest hurdle with fashion that you have to do is get to the point where like people know you'll do weird ship and then they receive it.
Well, if you dress fucking normal and then try something, people don't like it.
But if you've already kind of like dip your toes to your to But can I.
Speaker 3Be honest, I feel like you living in New York people people yeah, so you get anything flies, but like here in Indiana, if I were to do that, they'd be like, what the fuck are you wearing?
Speaker 1I'm like, I don't know, You're right, but you still can though, because you're what you're wearing to a game is gonna be like there's a TV camera by you, So it works.
Speaker 3No, Yeah, for sure.
But I'm just saying like you could wear stuff like street style.
You could wear that, And if I wore that street style, like probably anywhere people would be like no.
Speaker 1I will say though, as a I'm gonna say six foot.
I'm gonna I'm gonna say, now, okay, everyone knows it's like five ten and a half, five eleven.
All females know.
Speaker 3Whatever says when it comes to heights exactly when it comes to height minus two incheska minimum.
Speaker 1That's fine.
Fuck it, I'll say five eleven.
Is that actually it?
Yeah?
No, it's with times.
I'm pushing six to two if I were Tims.
Okay, but it's like a pretty generic looking average height, like white dude.
Yeah, I had to kind of like like get there, you know.
Yeah, but I was gonna ask you whenever you wear like a tunnel fit and then people are like, oh, Sophie's hot, Sophie, like where she's like a fashion tunnel fit chick are there every day where like I want to just not wear make more sweats to the game every.
Speaker 3Day West, I mean I can, but I also know like that's like the fun part of it too.
Yeah, but I I will say, like I do still wear sweats and a sweatshirt, but like I don't.
That's like more on the roadway games, but like home games, I'm always gonna be dressing up in like LA New York, Chicago, all like the kind of more fun cities, like you're gonna dress up.
Speaker 2But yeah, so there's like a method to my matters.
Speaker 1I wish.
Speaker 2I wish that I had the energy to dress up all the time.
Speaker 1No, I wouldn't.
Speaker 2But because you and I don't care, I don't care enough.
I think that's my issue.
Speaker 1Yeah, but you do care on certain days.
Speaker 2Yeah, if I've had an of sleep, right, but that like.
Speaker 1Happened every time?
How how how many days advanced are they planned out?
Well?
I maybe would you say, but believe you had a stylist.
Speaker 3Yeah, I do have a stylist, but I only use her for certain things things.
Yeah, and like there's I think you would definitely tell when I have.
Speaker 1A stylist and when I don't.
Not the RBS T shirt that was all me, I.
Speaker 3Know, Yeah, that's pretty simple.
Speaker 1Yeah, it was easy.
Speaker 2But I did ask her.
I was like, I go, gray shorts are black shortsanks?
Speaker 1Black?
Was the hit and then Venmo a fucking thousand bucks.
Speaker 2Probably like five thousand.
Oh, do you have a stylist.
Speaker 1I've gotten help for good.
No, I do.
She's you need a lot of help for me.
It's more like time.
It's like time.
Yeah, you know, well, and I hate shopping.
I actually hate shopping.
That she also like, I think she gets me and knows that we can like do weird shitting in there and will like come up with something together that feel.
I've seen and I'm not gonna name names, but I've seen stylists work with people and it's just like, here's eight shirts facetiming before you go to dinner, and let's choose like what colored pants, and it's.
Speaker 3Like stupid, No, I want like I can do that.
I can be I can be the stupid, but I need something to actually make me look good.
Speaker 1Yeah for real?
But and get this shit?
Well yeah, yeah, you're busy.
Speaker 2Do you have like weird okay, let's talk about this is there?
Do you feel like your body type is weird?
Speaker 3That like you can't pull certain things off even though it looks good on other people, but you try it and it's like.
Speaker 1But definitely, I've heard nine thousand women say that to me when I'm like, they're all like pretty girls who like are normal looking, but they're like, I can't wear T shirts because of my body.
Speaker 2Let me guess they look like this, they're a twig.
Speaker 1Yeah, they're all fake.
Speaker 2Great, that's all the girls you hang out with.
Speaker 1No, that's not true.
Anyway.
What I'm thinking of does not have faked its?
Oh the only one.
No, New York's not a fake bobs city.
You them, I think you're thinking of, not New York.
Do you know where there's a lot of fake tits the leg of the Ozarks.
Oh yeah, way more than New York.
I again, because I have this show me tattoo on me.
I've shown it to multiple people and they go, does that mean like show me your tits?
I'm like, dude, come.
Speaker 3On your mind now the gutter?
But maybe yeah, but are you gonna but are you how much have we had to drink?
Speaker 1Are you thinking about it?
Uh?
Okay, we're talking about t shirts boobs?
Off topic?
Oh but if things fit?
No?
Uh, I try it to wear like I don't know, but like that's what I said about the shirt, Like I cut it to make my legs look longer.
Speaker 3Okay, But like if you're interviewing a Tom Brady like for conflicts you got you get to interview Patrick Mahomes, Like, what what do you are you like stylists need you are you like this?
Speaker 1For those, it's more uh because like the person there is cool, so I don't need to like do something like to make it make it about me.
Speaker 2But like the Summerhouse premiere.
Speaker 1Then actually may I say, yeah, Summer Else premiere last year full outfit just me hush yeah.
But there are a lot of other things, like you know how we do on the show.
Either they're like the green screen thing.
Yeah, I felt really sad.
Yeah, those are like people will screenshot those and then people be like rank this confessional blah blah blah.
Speaker 3So you kind of gotta like, dude, I can't wait for us to start judging my outfits when NBA comes around.
Speaker 1I cannot wait to judge those guys outfits.
I'm not kidding.
Speaker 3That's like one of my because some of them are so they're swagging, they look good.
Speaker 1Others I'm like, so bad you make two hundred million?
Why are you wearing that?
Yeah?
I always thinking about Kyle Kusman with the arms sleeves where my head went, Yeah, he also did that one time and had like he dropped like five points or something, and everyone was like, dude, you can't show up like that and then yeah drop five.
Yeah, No, I feel that who is who is like a WNBA pioneer for fashion in your eyes?
Speaker 3Well, I think this last ERCID class have a lot of like well, they had a huge freaking platform in college and so all these brands went after them.
So I think of like Rikia Jackson.
You have Cameron Brink who is like literally stunning and you could throw a trash bag on her and she rocks it.
Speaker 1You know.
I interviewed complex actually Flage Oh yeah, still in college.
Speaker 2I've never actually met her, but she's smiggy little girl.
Speaker 1She she like likes rapping just as much as swooping.
Dude, she is a rapper, No, she is?
I know.
Yeah, we like filmed a music video like in our studio.
Were you in the music video?
No?
I was.
I was like helping film it.
We were like throwing cash like above.
It was like, yeah, don't like twerking or anything.
She was like the star.
Speaker 3But to clarify, what were you are we allowed to talk about you being with Alex Earl.
Speaker 1You can if you want to.
I do.
I'm curious.
Speaker 2I saw on your story that you were with her.
Speaker 1Yeah, what was that?
The day was well for me, not underwhelming, but like she had like a little hair being.
She's got like a beverage that she was like promoting.
Was it good?
That's fine.
I think that meant the beverage.
Yeah, I don't even know if I had any.
And so there's this place in Montalk surf Lodge.
Okay, it's like kind of scene.
Probably probably overpriced.
I'm sure tables and shit are like overpriced really, but it's just like it's like on the water, there's always like a famous detail, like it's it's cool, I get there.
You should go.
Yeah?
Was it fun though?
Like was the party fun?
Like?
Speaker 2Here's my thing about social media that always gets.
Speaker 3Me is like we blow all these people up in time, we blow all these people up, or we we we show.
Speaker 1Who we're with and what we're doing, but like is it really that fun?
Speaker 2Are they really that cool?
Speaker 1Do you guys get what I'm saying?
Of course, of course there's like that's like half of everything, Like I'm afraid we do.
I don't know.
I've posted shit that looked cool and I didn't have fun.
Yeah.
However, though I typically am like gonna like have fun.
Speaker 3No, I feel like we always find like the positive enjoy and like fun and everything we do.
Speaker 1I will say though, once it becomes a part of like this is like what gets scary though, is it it becomes a part of your income.
Yeah, then you have to well there's a lot of motive to fake it, yes, you know, yeah, until you make it.
And so that's a thing, like I think, I'm like ninety nine percent sure there are girls in New York and fucking probably dudes who like fake post stuff as if it's an advertisement on their Instagram, so that it seems as if a brand gave them that or paid them.
And I'm not I don't know that to be a fact, but I've just been like good, I know exactly.
But that's what like, be you.
Speaker 3But my biggest thing is like, if you want to be somebody, be you, like whatever you are yourself.
Speaker 1Because everyone else has already taken.
Oh did you make that up?
It's sweating James Joyce.
Yeah, I'm gonna get used to me dog.
Speaker 3Yeah, okay, speaking of sweating, which I think is so funny because like that's just you, I know.
Speaker 2Please tell me about when the ac broke dude.
Speaker 1Okay.
The problem is.
Speaker 3Because I'm a sweater too.
Yeah, like my feet so bad?
Do they so bad?
Speaker 1I'm not even a foot guy.
Okay, I'm saying I'm not a foot guyer there, No, I don't have socks on, dude, not even that bad.
Maybe you don't smell.
I thought you thought that's what you said.
Speaker 3I mean, I don't smell so good.
But yeah I did for a year and they smell like that.
That's not bad.
Speaker 1You're fine.
Thanks.
It's a lot worse.
Weirdly, the only time that I really feel like it's gonna sound really deep, it's not meant to be.
It's okay.
Where I feel like really comfortable with my sweatiness is like if I'm playing sports, are working out, because that's when that's when I'm meant to be sweaty.
Yeah, right, but I am like I run hot all the time.
When I'm talking, I'm hot.
When there's lights, I'm hot.
Yeah, and I just get warm, like I'm a warm d.
Speaker 2We're in the humidity here is wild.
Speaker 1But I mean, it's not just like I'm not even gonna blame that you.
I know, I know I'm not gonna blame the Midwest community.
It's just like who I am Okay, So yeah, I got to do.
I just hosting in a home network.
Speaker 2Which is amazing.
Speaker 1First of all, sick.
Yeah, I try to keep it biased, and then I sneak in just like little Chiefs probably everyally ten seconds.
Speaker 2Uh bit cheese fans here.
Speaker 1If you guys didn't know, yeah, funk off.
Speaker 2If you're not, don't watch our show or listen to it.
Speaker 1Actually one day, I'm not you bored to get Kansas City a WNBA team.
Dude, I've tried.
It would be so cool.
I've tried.
I've tried.
Speaker 3We're working on it.
I know, I know a lot of people are working on it.
Speaker 1S Patrick is working on it.
Yeah.
Anyways, so doing NFL network, and because it's a situation where I would usually be like pretty warm and like overconscious of how I'm like looking, I was like, god, damn, I am so hot today for some reason, and like I have long hair now so I can kind of like feel when my hair.
Speaker 2I really with the hair.
Speaker 1Let's love and take it to it's like a compliment.
And then so we go to second commercial break and the the tech in my ear was like, well, sorry, the whole buildings that are finished just broke we're gonna try to figure it out, and I was like, what the fuck.
So it's like just getting so hot, and they everyone I'm with is in a studio in LA and so every commercial break, I'm like patting my whole stomach down like my head and I'm just like, dude, I'm gonna look like so sloppy.
And people on the internet are already like I get jokes about how like sweaty and hot I look all the time, and I was like, fuck, I'm just not beating the allegations at all.
And then they were like before we cut back, everyone in LA was like, West, are you good?
Like what's wrong?
And I was like, the fucking comes out like I don't know what to do, like I'm so so wet like whatever.
So they made a little joke about it, which I appreciated because then it feels like I'm like just randomly wet now.
And then the stop using wet, I keep doing I don't like that.
Sorry moist, I'd rather moist than wet.
Okays, I got you.
So then the last segment before the show's over, they cut back from commercial and it's a montage of me when we were on commercial break, patting my stomach down, patting my face down, like putting a fan on my face, and they were like it was a montage of me just like wiping myself off.
And I was like, there's no no fucking like, dude, but that's why people love you.
Like that.
Shit's funny.
I know.
They were also like really nice and like laughing, but like, of course.
Speaker 3Okay, but honestly, when especially in the studio, when it's hot and you do have all the lights and you already have.
Speaker 2A little bit of pressure of like in front of the camera doing stuff.
Speaker 1Talking makes me hot, well then.
Speaker 2You are hot twenty four seven.
Speaker 1That's true.
And I'm hot when I'm sleeping, so never really stops.
Speaker 2I don't think it's it's not the talking.
Speaker 1I think it's just your body.
Yeah, that's fine.
I've asked my mom about it so many times.
Speaker 3You know, your mom had my sister's baby and she's about to have her second baby.
Speaker 1I know, I know, so cool.
That part's awesome.
I wasn't I wouldn't bring it up because that would be not in my place.
But I'm gladd.
Speaker 3I also announced Lindsay's second pregnancy on national television.
When I I guess I'm supposed to be a secret.
Speaker 1Oh it good work.
Oh so this is nothing all right?
Well, thanks for giving us permission, Lindsay.
Yeah, so when Sophe becomes an aunt and what'd you say three weeks?
How'd you know?
I think?
Didn't you tell me already?
My mother will receive that baby into the world, which is kind of.
Speaker 2Like, oh, yeah, receive.
Yeah, she was good.
Speaker 3I was right there with the camera, had the angle.
Oh you were in the room, dude, I was right there next to your mom.
Speaker 1Wait, I've never seen her do it before, like the birth stuff.
Speaker 3Well, I want to maybe allow you in.
There is the random son.
Speaker 1No one should let me in.
Maybe Lindsay will next time.
Yeah, honestly, podcast while she's giving birth, mom hops in for like just one little one.
Let's good birth.
Speaker 3Your mom can walk us through my sister's next birth.
Wait, I think her own so fun?
Damn uh I sullow that.
Speaker 1But how do you like be an ant?
Speaker 2I love it.
It's good, it's the best.
Speaker 1She should be like a good mom?
Speaker 2Well, like, right now, would I be a good mom?
Speaker 1Or like when you see a kid that's like has your bloodline or you're like, oh, I want my.
Speaker 2Oh yeah, he gets me baby fever.
Speaker 3And then you spend like maybe thirty minutes so when they're not so good and you're like, I'm good, Yeah, I'm thriving.
Speaker 1Actually, yeah, I got you.
But yeah, I want to be a mom.
You gonna be a dad eventually, but I don't picture it at all right now.
Speaker 2Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1Yeah, like I think about it in my future, yes, but when I wake up, no, part of me is.
Speaker 3Like I want to have the max mom that I am right now would be my dog.
And like a lot of more teammates have dogs, and like I gave my dog to my parents back home because I just couldn't.
Speaker 2I don't have time.
Yeah, so am I gonna give.
Speaker 1My I mean you dog?
Speaker 3Yeah, but he's on the farm when he's thriving, Okay, Like there's no way he's going to come back here living.
Speaker 2In an apartment.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Yeah, I feel the same way.
Speaker 3I actually just brought a big, old dead, big.
Speaker 2Old deer leg back home to my to my parents.
Speaker 1That makes their year.
Oh yeah, and.
Speaker 2They smell like it.
He had a role in the deer too.
Speaker 1It was bad.
That's awesome.
Yeah, anyway, fever last night beat sky shirack Baby, how did you play?
Speaker 3You know, I've actually been kind of on a heater turn me up, so yeah, turn me up.
But last night I was not back down on a cooler.
Speaker 1That's fine, humbling, that's humbling, you know.
Can I do you think with see Kaylen now, have you had to like kind of like rise up?
Yeah?
Speaker 2I think everyone has had to.
She she does have a pretty good injury.
Hopefully she's back soon.
Speaker 1Are you second about shooter after her in your opinion?
Speaker 2Like percentage wise or like efficiency?
Speaker 1I guess that's the same thing thing.
Speaker 3Yeah, nice, your coach is like, uh, what, I'm in efficiency and percentage wise?
Speaker 1I leave both of those categories.
Yea, No, that's awesome, that's good.
Same category.
Speaker 3But anyway, I don't even know if I leave those, But I know, I think that's the cool.
Speaker 2Thing about our team is we have a lot of great shooters.
Speaker 1Shooters, but I have been chooting.
Speaker 3Shit out of but well, you know the highs and lows of season, like everyone goes through that.
Speaker 1So do we know when she's coming back out?
Yeah?
Hurt?
Speaker 3Yeah, it is growing, but it's such like a weird injury because she doesn't really like she's not in pain all the time.
Speaker 1Yeah, you know what I mean.
Speaker 3But then when you do hurt it, it's like, Okay, you're out for another So I think they're trying to be like extra cautious so she doesn't kind of have those little setbacks.
Speaker 1If we're trying to make a playoff run, I think that's the creat.
Speaker 3Thing exactly, Like if we can continue to win without her, like also, of course we want her to play though, like I want her to play, you know what I mean, But like if we can be successful without her, give her a little bit more break, I think that's going.
Speaker 1To be good.
And playoffs are win October September this year, yeah, October with Olympic year, but this year is oh gotya?
Speaker 3Yeah, Kaya she didn't play an All Star though she didn't she was an All Star.
Speaker 1Of course, was she like on the sideline with them?
Speaker 3Yeah, they called her coach coach Clauk yeah love no, only they did.
But I think I'm a part of our PA Players Association WBA.
Yeah, so I think they're going to be sending out those shirts good, so it'll be nice.
Speaker 1But Kelsey Plumb with the chub Why.
I don't know, dude, why I always feel like she's always being weird.
The thing is, she's super nice and she's really freaking good at basketball.
Uh huh.
It's just like I just think, and you know, way than me.
It just feels like people are jealous of this new little wave.
Speaker 3Of they are, but I just hate that because like this is what we've always wanted as a league.
Speaker 2So like who cares?
Who gets the credit?
Speaker 3And if you're smart, you're making money off of them, like you were literally making money from the viewers.
Speaker 1What she made the chirp was about how she didn't help plan the fun who cares?
Like who cares?
You know what I mean?
Like I just hate when like people.
Speaker 3Do stuff to get it's like clickbait, like you know, and and there's so much clickbait, especially surrounding Caitlin, and so like it's just like just be nice, Like I can't just be nice.
Speaker 1That's what I don't.
I don't coming from the girl who just be nice?
Speaker 2That's not that hard, I agree, damn it.
Speaker 1No, I think that's what from what I've seen, what it is.
Speaker 2The outside, like the outside.
Speaker 1Why bully the person who is like not responsible, but like has a huge role in growing.
Speaker 3Your dude, And it literally like pisses me off, and people are like, she's not the face of the league.
Speaker 1Who would be?
What Sabrina?
No?
Speaker 3Eh No, there's really good, well known people in our league.
Speaker 2I'm not discrediting.
Speaker 3Them, like we have a lot of badasses in our league.
Like, hell, yeah, of that, I'm all for that.
But when people will try to argue that she's not the face of our league or if our league would be where we're at without her, you're dumbest shit.
Speaker 2Yeah, you're literally dumb as fuck.
Speaker 1You guys played at Iowa.
Were you there for that game?
Yeah?
Was that a preseason Yeah?
Speaker 2Yeah, we played against Brazil.
Oh we should go to Brazil.
Speaker 1Chiefs play in Brazil week one against the Chargers.
I think.
So there's that Claire schedule.
Speaker 2When do they when's their first game?
Speaker 1It's probably like the first weekend of September.
Speaker 2Wait, when does Summerhouse quit filming?
Speaker 1Dude, I fucking wanted Montana State plays Oregon week one and it's our last weekend of filming.
So it's like it's the last weekend of August that, like I think it, like it dips its toes into September for the day on Sunday maybe or something.
Speaker 3Wait, because that's literally where I was gonna go with that is like why doesn't why don't you guys all pick up like the Summerhouse crew go to like a game or like go to.
Speaker 1The internet talks about that all the time because every other Bravo show does cast trips.
Yeah, so they go to like islands and like, fucking I think because our show is a vacation, yeah, they like in theory, we're like already.
Speaker 2On on vacation, you know.
Yeah.
Speaker 1I like jokingly brought up Summerhouse ozarks it would be so fun, and it like kind of caught a little traction and.
Speaker 2I saw it on my Twitter feed.
Speaker 1Yeah, I saw it.
Uh.
I interviewed John Hamm about it.
I was like, would you watch that show?
Speaker 2And he goes, fuck, yeah, yeah, that'd be amazing.
Speaker 1But it would be fun to just go like I love that house, you know.
Speaker 2Yes, but like it's okay to go do something different for at least one week, I.
Speaker 1Think with people that you spend so much time with, Yeah, a little shake up is healthy, yes, And like yeah, and then it it kind of like lights a little.
It's a fun like we're all going to do this thing.
It'll be nice and have fun.
Speaker 3You're just not so much of her taine.
But I actually want to handle that real quick.
Is it so weird with Paige not being in the house.
Speaker 1It sucks because I think our senses of humor were like the same.
Yeah.
And if I made a joke.
Speaker 2I like relied on her a little.
Speaker 1Yeah, she would laugh first, you know, so that that part's always stuff.
Speaker 2But are you still friends?
Yeah, like hanging out and stuff.
Speaker 1I'm gonna send her one of those bandanas too.
I get a little bit of like you need Tomi, but mm hmm.
But it seemed that in a tunnel fit would mean the world to me.
Speaker 2Dude, I want to rocket?
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah, I'm sure that.
Yeah, do you have an outfit idea?
And you know it's my dad on the bandana?
What Bruce?
Bruce?
Dude?
Sure, it's like a pastel painting.
Speaker 3Wait on the on the O J Scarf.
It was Bruce the whole time.
Yeah, look, you're fucking kidding.
Speaker 1No, I sent them the picture so it's like a picture of him the roofs.
Yeah, isn't that cool?
Oh hell yeah, dude.
And then that's our catibrand logo.
Oh so it's like cooler than you think.
It is way cooler that.
Speaker 3I just thought it was like a random silky scarf that you maybe got at Marshall's.
Speaker 1No, no, no, what the fuck?
I don't know.
No, actually this company is who did it.
They're called Pirate.
But it's pretty you could have fulled my ass.
Well that's not the point.
Oh and I also think my dad like was like this is awesome, dug.
Speaker 2You know, he fucking ate that ship up a heartbeat.
Speaker 1I was like, hey, do you have time to do like a photo shoot at the farm, and he was like, yeah, the cows off and the big skin go.
The cows are a part of it.
Speaker 2I did see that, dude.
I will never forget back to our little farm party real quick.
Speaker 3I will never forget when you really did have yours and like your dad was out there was like showing.
Speaker 1The like massive bonfire too.
So that on fire was huge, huge.
We took all the old wood and like palettes and ship.
Speaker 3I didn't know all that, but I remember that was a big ass fire.
Yeah, that might have been one of the bigger ones.
Yeah, Josh Evans had a couple of big ones, but that was a that.
Speaker 1Was a big, big one.
I wonderful I'll ever do that again in our lives.
Speaker 2I think that we're gonna throw it back and we're going.
Speaker 1To we like, yeah, wait, that would be so fun, just because I don't mind hearin that they're not going to be invited.
No, you get it's a Missouri though.
Who else in the I say W NYA, I know you say W talks about who like ships on rats?
Besides you, I.
Speaker 2Think I'm the I'm really the only one who publicly is a massive shiitter on reths.
Speaker 1That's awesome, But.
Speaker 3My thing is like, I'm not even gonna lie to you.
I am someone who says what everyone else is thinking or talking about, not just with the re you posted with Detroit, with Cleveland, I want people to hear what I just said.
Speaker 1I'm the only one.
Speaker 3But if you ask our league, they feel the same exact way.
Speaker 1The league feels the same way about the refs as you and Detroit and Cleveland.
Yeah, damn, those cities are gonna.
Speaker 3No like they already do.
I met someone I was just at the Cubs in White Sox game yeah.
Literally two nights ago and this guy came and like, Wabi, goes, are you Sophie, And I was like, yeah, he goes, well, I'm from Detroit.
Speaker 2I was like, oh, I heard it's beautiful.
Speaker 1So what I bet they?
I bet people shoot on Kansas City all the time.
Speaker 3Though, Yeah, we have some of the best barbecue, hands down the whole country.
Like, I'm sure there's so many gems.
I'm sure that people are amazing those cities.
I don't think people are fully understanding what we were talking about.
And so no, because I said what I had to say, and I'm not going to apologize because I fully believe that.
Speaker 2Don't tell me that Detroit is more fun than Shill.
Speaker 1I'm not going to tell you that.
Speaker 2Yeah, don't I'm not because.
Speaker 1I'll drag you by your damn neck.
Speaker 3Uh.
Speaker 1Cleveland, though, are you a lover kind of not a fighter?
I'm not a fighter, everyone knows that, not even close.
Speaker 2I think I'm more of a lover than I give off.
But I will beat your ass.
Speaker 1Yeah, let's wrestle sometimes.
That be fun.
That's my lube, my wrestling lube.
I won't make you shit on refs, but I do find it.
I find it interesting because no, Mahomes did it two years ago and got fucking massacred for three months.
Speaker 2That's fine, but you know what, he was probably speaking the truth.
Speaker 1I think he regrets that one.
That's fine.
Uh was it after getting one or lost?
We won?
That's fair.
Then guys gonna say, it's gonna sound like you're making eeas.
Speaker 3And I get it because if I was a ref, I know I would mess up all the time.
Like I'm not saying that your job is easy, but when it is a a simple call right in front of your face multiple times.
Speaker 1What are you doing?
What do you do?
What call?
Are you?
Like?
All above everything?
Speaker 3Like it's just like the they're just so inconsistent, Like that's my thing.
Like if you're on the other team and you're gonna be found this ship out of me, cool, but let me do it to you.
Speaker 1You know what I mean?
Speaker 2Consistency then yeah, like just get just give.
Speaker 3And I think that's players across the league and like new fans across our are the country, like everyone's like what is going on with the rest, And I'm like I don't know, and you finding me five hundred dollars is not gonna do ship.
Speaker 1Uh fuck, yeah, that was a bar.
That's a shirt.
Hot girls like to be fined.
Find five hundred dollars, won't do ship.
That's sick, and.
Speaker 3Then I'll get fined for that, and then I'll get fined for this, and then the fines continue.
Speaker 1Yeah damn Yeah.
Where are they?
Where do the rest come from?
I don't know.
Speaker 2Not all over are bad.
Speaker 1I know there's a there's actually a lot of solid, really good rest.
You have personal relationship thing of them sexual like, well, you wouldn't be maybe I should, you wouldn't be posting tiktoks about them if that was true.
I did say some.
I didn't say all.
Speaker 3There's just there's there's like a good handful that it's like, all right, dude, and there's.
Speaker 1A couple of girls in question.
Do like if someone were to, like say, someone called men's basketball their whole life and then went over to women's would it would they be expected to call the game differently just given like the style and like physicality and stuff like that.
I'm curious if they're coming from random place like where they're the thing.
Speaker 3The thing that I have the biggest issue about the female sides of refs is like they're so emotional, like the guys know, the NBA, the NBA officials, like the NBA players motherfucked those officials.
Speaker 1Like no, yeah, yeah, like I I was.
Speaker 3I've worked broadcast, I've been to games.
I'm friends with these people.
They motherfuck them.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 3And the only person that I've ever seen able to like motherfuck a ref on the women's side is Diana.
Speaker 1Tarassi and they like take it.
Speaker 3Yeah, they had to, And like but when I she she She's probably one of the worst people that I've seen go after refs and I loved every second of it.
Yeah, but now, like the refs, and I'm not saying they're emotional like the men and women do that't matter the gender.
Yeah, on our side, they are too emotionally invested and they can't take it.
Speaker 1And I'm like, is it new to the WNBA that you guys are like maybe talking more ship back to refs or has that.
Speaker 3Been a thing for It's always been a thing, Like I We've had I've had so many coaches, trainers, like everyone who's worked on both, like the NBA and WNBA side, and they say that like we are more vulgar, like vulgar discussed like wild in the men, like the way you talk shit everything, I believe it, like everything, Like our locker rooms are insane.
Speaker 2Yeah, they're fun entertaining a.
Speaker 1Ship actually, so it's like tiktoks Yeah look fun.
Speaker 3Yeah, but I'm just so it's just like the emotional aspect that they can't separate.
Interesting, Like we're not going after you as a human, what's going after your job?
Speaker 1Yeah, I mean I've seen football coaches fucking eat up rests.
But it's outside, so it doesn't feels personal.
I feel like getting cussed out inside would hurt your feelings, but that's okay.
Speaker 3No, like the heat of the battle, I feel like that's I think if you went outside the court indid it, then that's going too far.
Speaker 1I'm I don't mean outside of the stadium.
I mean in open air.
Oh oh oh, Like being cussed out in an arena or like it echoes and you can hear other people.
Feels more intimate than like out sucks to suck.
Speaker 2You know, we get cussed out out when we're playing.
People yield us all the time.
Speaker 1No, you don't see me in the middle of the game.
Speaker 2That don't can't say that imagine that.
Speaker 1No, you fight with your fucking fists.
I've seen it.
You're crazy, time flies and you're having fun?
Is I have a lot of fun here with where do you live?
In comparison to years then, I used to go fifteen twenty?
Not bad?
Not too bad?
No, everything's like, are you more of like a I want to live close to like the fun shit in town or close to the facility.
Speaker 3Now I'm like an actually happy medium.
So like in in Phoenix, I had the perfect setup.
I was like ten minutes from downtown, which is like.
Speaker 1Where we played bush and I picked you up.
Yes yeah that.
Speaker 3Yeah yeah, and then ten minutes from like our practice cility is perfect, and then minutes from the bars yeah and good food.
Speaker 1Yeah, it's perfect.
Speaker 2Where do you live?
Speaker 3And like I just moved I know, Oh shoot, yeah you did tell me that.
Speaker 1My first big boy apartment.
Dude, good for you?
Do you have a roommate?
No, I'm so you know what?
Good for you?
Speaker 2Sometimes you just need your space?
Speaker 1Yeah you know what I mean?
Well, in New York it's like really hard to find that.
I was like tripping on shoes.
Speaker 3You can find it, but you're gonna yeah yeah, cut off your left arm.
Speaker 1Yeah, couch built, TV's up a couple like dressers built.
So we're getting there too.
Good for you.
Thanks to come.
Speaker 2Is it bigger than like these two couches together or what?
Speaker 1Yeah?
Uh, I was gonna say, I think all the bridge boys are coming for Chiefs Giants, but you'll be playing We'll find any reason come for Christmas?
That be really you see the rockets but you'll probably play Will you see the Liberty again?
No, we're done done?
So damn well whatever, isn't there a fucking I guess Connecticut?
But that's like, where do you find when you play Connecticut?
Speaker 2Saint Boston or Philly?
No, Philly?
Speaker 1Yeah?
Yeah that was fun.
Where to come?
Will be webcam buddies.
Next time.
