Set Boundaries, Find Peace Sleep Hypnosis — What If Tonight You Chose Yourself?

Episode Transcript

Inspired by Nedra Glover Tawab's book Set Boundaries, Find Peace, tonight's journey helps you remember what it feels like to protect your energy, to rest without guilt.

Her work reminds us that boundaries aren't walls, they're bridges that protect peace, self respect, and love.

As you drift into sleep, you'll rediscover that saying no can be a gentle yes to yourself.

Take a slow, easy breath in and let it drift out like a soft tide, receding with each exhale.

Call your energy back home from every expectation and demand that isn't yours to hold.

Golden threads of energy weave back into your heart.

You don't have to earn rest.

This is your time to replenish, to reset, to simply be.

I'm Andrew Green and as always, I'm so pleased to be guiding you on this journey.

If you haven't yet subscribed or followed, I'd love for you to do so as I'm eager for you to join me on this journey as it continues and evolves.

My passion for hypnosis drives me to support your quest to sleep deeply and make positive changes in your life.

Let's get started on this transformative experience together.

Take a slow, easy breath in and let it drift out even slower again, in through your nose and out through your mouth, letting the breath grow slower, quieter and smoother with every cycle.

Now find a single point above you, a spot on the ceiling, a corner of a shadow, or simply a still place overhead.

Let your gaze rest there, effortless and calm.

As you breathe in.

Imagine that small point beginning to blur softly, as if distance is fading away.

And as you breathe out, whisper quietly in your mind the word RELAX.

Each blink is a sign of deepening relaxation, your body's natural way of saying yes to rest.

Soon, the effort of holding those eyes open becomes more and more difficult as they grow heavier and heavier.

It's as though tiny weights are resting upon your eyelids, pulling them gently downward.

In a moment, I'll begin counting from 10 down to 1.

Allow your eyes to grow heavier with each number, and with each blink, let your body sink deeper into calm.

If your eyes are already closed or if they close before we arrive at one, that's perfectly fine.

Just follow the countdown as it will bring you into a deeper hypnotic state.

10 Your eyelids flutter, the muscles behind your eyes softening completely.

9A wave of warmth flows through your forehead and temples, erasing every line of thought.

8 Eyelids heavy 7 closing, closing, closing 6 deeper and deeper 5 relaxing down 4 closing closing, closing 3 two and one.

And if your eyes haven't already closed, close them now and go twice as deep.

As they close, your body sighs with relief, muscles melting, mind settling, breath quiet and rhythmic.

A golden wave begins at the top of your head, flowing down through your forehead, eyes, cheeks, and jaw, melting every last trace of tension.

The wave travels through your neck and shoulders, dissolving old strain and quiet fatigue.

Each breath makes the light warmer, heavier, more soothing down through your chest, your ribs, your stomach and spine, all easing, aligning, letting go.

The wave spreads to your hips, legs, knees and ankles until it reaches your feet, soft, warm and free of all effort.

As you exhale now, feel yourself completely supported by the surface beneath you, as if the bed itself has become an extension of your own calm energy.

You are resting within peace itself, so deeply relaxed that moving feels unnecessary.

You are safe and still and whole.

Let each slow exhale affirm it softly.

My peace is sacred.

Now that your body is quiet and your eyes are resting softly behind closed lids, we'll begin to deepen this relaxation even more through the body, through the breath, and into the quiet center of your energy.

Start with your face, forehead, eyes, cheeks.

Inhale gently.

Inhale gently, noticing any small trace of tension.

Exhale and let those tiny muscles melt.

Smooth, serene, calm.

Your jaw loosens, Lips part slightly, and your tongue rests behind your teeth.

Your face feels loose and light, as though it's floating.

Now move that relaxation into your neck and shoulders.

Inhale deeply into that space, sensing the weight you've carried there, the invisible weight of always saying yes.

Exhale and let it all fall away.

Feel your shoulders sinking lower, muscles unlocking like threads unwinding.

The golden warmth spreads through your arms, elbows, forearms, wrists, and palms.

Pause for a moment.

Notice your hands feel as if they're almost breathing.

Notice how good it feels to simply let go.

With each breath, that golden light grows calm, comforting, and steady.

It's your own energy returning home, surrounding you in a soft, radiant glow.

Bring your awareness to your chest.

Now notice your heart rising and falling with every breath as you inhale.

Imagine drawing energy back into your heart from every person, place, and moment that ever drained you.

Each inhale reclaims your strength.

Each exhale clears your space.

The light grows brighter now, pulsing gently, like the steady rhythm of peace itself.

Now move to your back, shoulders to spine, spine to lower back.

Every breath releases years of effort, softening you from within.

Let go completely.

The bed beneath you is strong and soft.

It carries you the way boundaries carry peace without you needing to do anything.

Relax your stomach and abdomen, feel it rise and fall easily with no need to hold tight or protect.

The breath flows like a tide, gentle and natural.

Each wave brings release.

Bring that feeling to your hips, thighs and knees.

Inhale and sense those muscles soothed, softened, relaxed.

Exhale and let go.

Feel warmth spreading down through your calves, ankles and feet.

Even your toes begin to soften and glow, resting in that same golden piece from head to toe.

Your body now hums with one vibration, calm and grounded.

Around you, the golden light expands wider, brighter, gentler.

It becomes a boundary of light, soft enough to let love in, strong enough to keep exhaustion out.

You are resting within this radiant field, your personal sanctuary of peace.

It grows with each breath, encircling you in warmth, harmony, and safety.

You can sense the air around you shift as though the very atmosphere is aligned with your calm.

For so long, parts of your energy have drifted outward to people, worries, and responsibilities, many of which weren't truly yours to carry.

Now imagine those threats of energy returning to you, each one a ribbon of light gliding home through the night sky.

With each ribbon that returns, your body glows brighter.

With each breath you feel more complete.

You whisper softly to yourself.

I am coming home.

Notice the warmth gathering in your chest as those words echo within you, that feeling of wholeness expanding, reclaiming, restoring.

And now, as that golden field steadies around you, imagine a soft wind passing through, a breath of clarity that brings truth to your lips.

A single word forms there, Small, gentle, yet powerful.

No, the word no.

Not as resistance, not as rejection, but as self love and self respect.

Each time you exhale you feel the weight of over giving melt away.

Your body understands.

Now saying no can be love in motion.

You are not pushing anyone away, you are inviting yourself inward.

In this stillness, every no you've been afraid to speak transforms into a quiet yes to your own peace.

It feels like balance.

It feels like home.

Now your field of light has settled into perfect balance, clear, grounded, luminous.

Within it you feel entirely safe, completely whole, fully at peace.

The mind is quiet, the heart is open, the body is weightless.

You have remembered what peace feels like when it belongs to you.

You are no longer seeking permission to rest.

You are giving it to yourself right here, right now, as you think to yourself.

I call my energy home.

Every breath draws my power back to me.

My energy belongs where it is honored.

I release what drains me and embrace what restores me.

I am whole even when I rest.

My peace is more important than performance.

I protect my calm like sacred light.

I am not responsible for everyone's comfort.

I honor my bodies, call for rest.

Saying no is a loving act of self respect.

Every know creates space for peace.

I release guilt and trust my inner knowing.

I do not have to explain my boundaries.

I am free to rest and take care of myself without apology.

No is a realignment, not rejection.

My boundaries are acts of love, not distance.

I love myself enough to protect my peace.

My energy is precious and deserving of care.

I am kind, calm, and clear in what I allow.

I express my needs with grace.

Self love flows through every boundary I create.

The love I give myself radiates to others.

I am the guardian of my serenity.

I release guilt that is not mine.

I forgive myself for saying yes in fear.

I let go of resentment and choose peace.

I no longer carry what is not mine.

It is safe to pause.

My needs are valid and necessary.

Each night my spirit resets.

I am in charge of my own energy.

I wake with clarity and confidence.

My peace is steady and unshakeable.

I attract relationships that honor my limits.

My boundaries strengthen my compassion.

I rest easily because I trust myself.

I am enough without doing more.

My calm presence is my power.

I rest in peace, surrounded by self love.

My boundaries are sacred and so am I.
