Episode Transcript
There's something about the ocean that is so mesmerizing.
When I think of hypnosis, I think of waves, Wave after wave, crashing softly upon the shore.
I think back to being a small kid, maybe 10 years old, standing at the edge of the beach, watching the water line up in the distance, eyes fixated, waiting for the biggest wave to rise, never knowing when it would form.
I remember that feeling, the sensation of gratitude welling up inside me, as it does now.
For, as Mary Oliver said, this one wild and precious life.
And yet, how often do we feel at odds with the flow of life?
How often do we wish for something different?
There's nothing wrong with that.
But before you ask your life to change, can you go inward and rediscover the beauty already breathing within you?
Can you awaken the feelings of appreciation and aliveness that still live inside you, now often buried but waiting for your gentle attention?
This is where we're going tonight.
Inward to the quiet depths where the currents of your life may be dormant but never gone, waiting to be activated by the power of words and sound calling forth from within you an unspeakable beauty.
Dramatic, maybe, but let's see.
Let's explore.
Let's consider that there are doors in your journey that you haven't opened yet, currents you haven't yet allowed to move through.
You keep an open mind for me.
And as always, thank you for being here.
If you haven't already followed or subscribed, I'd love to invite you to do so.
It helps me creating these journeys for you night after night.
Take a moment now to gently close your eyes and draw in a deep, refreshing breath.
Hold it softly at the top and then exhale slowly, letting any tension ebb away with the breath, the way a small wave retreats from the shore with every inhale.
Feel yourself becoming more relaxed, more at ease.
Imagine a soft glow around you, moonlight reflecting across the surface of the ocean, wrapping you in comfort and serenity.
With your eyes gently closed, turn your inner attention upward toward the space between your eyebrows.
In your mind's eye, see the ocean horizon at twilight, and just above it a single shimmering point of light, your guiding star.
Fix your inner gaze upon that star, the way a child might watch a distant wave forming, drawn in, captivated, waiting.
Take a slow, deep breath in, and as you exhale, let the word relax drift through your mind like a soft tide rolling in and out.
Again, breathe in deeply, and as you exhale, let relax flow through you, gentle and effortless.
One more slow breath in and as you release it, feel relax, spreading through your whole body, smoothing your mind, softening your chest, calming your entire being.
Now, keeping that star in your inner vision, I will countdown
from 5from 5:00 to 1:00.
With each number, let that star drift closer to you like a wave, rolling gently toward the shore, causing you to feel more and more relaxed.
Five, The light begins to fall toward you.
4 Your whole body softens, loosens.
Let's go.
3 You sink deeper into this moment.
2A deep breath in, welcoming the calm.
1 The light arrives, settling softly within you.
Now allow your eyes to relax completely, letting your inner gaze drift, soften, dissolve.
Notice how your eyelids feel heavier now, as if a warm ocean breeze as gently sealed them shot.
This is a beautiful sign that your mind is drifting inward, deeply, peacefully, naturally.
As your eyelids grow even heavier, feel the warm tide of relaxation flowing from them, spreading through your face, your neck, your shoulders.
Cascading down your entire body like gentle waves sweeping across the sand, you are sinking into a profound sense of peace and comfort.
You are right where you need to be.
Inhale deeply, savouring the feeling of your lungs expanding as they fill with calm, soothing air, like the slow rise of a gentle ocean swell beneath the quiet moonlight sky.
As you exhale, envision a warm wave of relaxation washing over you, dissolving tension, melting stress away, the way the tide smooths the shore with every retreat.
As you breathe in, notice a delightful lightness spreading through your body, lifting your spirit like moonlight glimmering across the water's surface.
With each out breath, feel yourself melting more and more, as if the waves are carrying anything away, anything unnecessary, anything ready to be released.
Just let the ocean carry you now feel the vibrations of the music moving through you.
Slow, steady, alive.
Feel the waves moving through every fiber of your being, soft yet powerful.
Let a quiet gratitude rise within you, the kind you can feel but not explain.
Every breath connects you to something bigger, something ancient, something gentle.
Allow the sound to soften you to loosen what's left inside.
Sense the beauty within you, the place where light moves gently through your inner world.
Feel your heart opening just a little more, enough to let the aliveness in.
There is beauty moving through you now, Subtle, warm, calming.
Let the waves inside you sink with the waves around you.
Nothing to force, nothing to chase, only flow.
Sense the beauty of who you are, the beauty that has always lived within you.
You are drifting effortlessly, peacefully into deeper ease.
Just breathe.
Just float.
Just allow.
Everything inside you is unwinding now, one gentle wave of energy at a time.
Let the sound guide you the rest of the way, softly, beautifully.
And may the peace that moved through you tonight stay with you long after you drift into sleep.
May your mind be calm, your body at ease, and your heart open to the quiet beauty and brilliance within you.
May the ocean of energy you felt around you continue to flow through your dreams, steady and endless, reminding you that you are held by life in ways you cannot always see.
May each wave of rest restore you and wash away anything that no longer belongs in your world.
And may you wake tomorrow feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected to the deep, effortless flow that lives inside you.
Thank you for allowing me to guide you tonight.
Rest well.
You are safe, you are loved, and you are never drifting alone.
Yeah.
Yeah.
