It's been a week since we got engaged.

Nobody knows anything.

I know because we were on our trip and I knew I was going to get to see you in person, and you were on your trip, so I wanted to like be able to tell you all the details and go through it without just being like text like you were wanting text, but yeah, I was.

After I heard the news, I was sending texts like rapid text to Becca like every day emoji, yeah, exclamation, we have wake up call yeah, and she would like respond the next day and answer like one of the ten.

Questions that torture for you.

So I was like being respectful and I was like letting her be present in her blissful moment.

I did a great job, Thank you.

I did it for you, and you know what, you did a great job, and you also made us feel you and Robbie made us feel so loved and celebrated, So it was like the perfect It was just lovely.

Wow, that's nice to hear.

You know we're our first cause I was really restraining myself.

Y'all were the first call we made after we got out.

I wasn't gonna say that because I didn't want to it started.

I didn't want to start a drama.

I was gonna take that with me to the grave.

But can you believe that?

I couldn't believe it.

It just was like we were one hundred percent sure that you would give us a celebratory response and be so excited for us.

So it was like, I think we were just excited to call you.

Like I was so excited to call you and have your response because I knew it was gonna be so good.

I was, so I was convinced that you guys weren't getting engaged on this trip.

Yeah, like you called us on speaker and was like, are you guys gonna get engaged in my or guy?

And I'm like in the car like, oh my gosh, I di And I was like, I wasn't planning to tell you, but at that point I was like, I cannot tell it.

Ton, Like you all see each other way too much, and this like just trying to surprise Becca is just like beyond Like I've never surprised her.

I guess you have.

You came home from tour early one time.

Okay, fine, ones, but it's really hard to surprise her because she's super intuitive.

Yeah, cookie, and she's always first to the punch first.

So like I was, I thought it was gonna happen in Myerica, and then I realized Becca's not prepared yet.

So I really convinced myself it's not happening on this trip.

So like I and then even Robbie pulled me aside and was like, Babe, remember before we got engaged and everybody was like ring ring ring ring ring, Like how annoying.

It was like, don't do that to your best friend.

And I was like, Okay, you're right, I'm not I'm gonna like lay off.

Why it's.

So I was convinced you guys weren't getting engaged on this trip.

And imful because I do think that like me, I was telling beck I was like, Tanya's like freaking me out because like she is putting pressure on this, like she's commenting bridal Era on Instagram like it's a lot, and like it actually worked in my favor, yeah, because I was like, you know, telling Beca like I'm just not ready for that, you know, Okay, So I was like.

Okay, and I also like in my mind, which I've said on the podcast, I always thought I would be the first to propose.

So I went on the trip being like all my I had several friends being like, are y'all getting engaged?

Are you proposing?

And I was like, no, you guys, it's just a vacation.

We go on trips all the time, and I don't even have a ring or anything, so we're not getting engaged.

So when I tell you, I had absolutely no clue.

It wasn't even a thought in my mind going into the trip.

I mean, I was clueless.

So when you packed for this trip, like, were you trying to help, like knowing Hayley you're gonna propose, were you like trying to encourage her to like pack a little like cheater, or.

Like, well, she's always cute, she's always prepared, So that was like check.

But I was like making I was shot.

I was like making sure I had outfits, which I don't normally do.

I got my nails done with her, which I I haven't got my nails done in years.

Did that throw you off at all?

No?

I was just like, Oh, she's growing up.

Yeah, I mean when you look back, there's so many moments.

So and then with the ring concierge thing too.

Oh yeah, crazy.

So I was unsure what ring she wanted exactly, and so I worked with ring concierge to basically pretend that she was being gifted jewelry, like free jewelry.

So I had them DM back up at me like Hey, we're gifting like free jewelry for pride, like.

Come into the shower.

They were just like all in my mind it was Pride, but yeah, they were just like, yeah.

They've gifted me stuff before.

So they messaged me and there they were like, hey, come into the LA location and we want to gift you in Haley, I.

Feel like you told me about this and they have some event they where you were like I remember you inviting me to a ring concierge event.

No, that was a different event.

Well that was a long time ago if I invited you to that, but this was just recently.

I think I talked about getting the free jewelry because I posted an engagement ring and I put like for engagement right, But was that the actual ring?

No, it wasn't the actual ring, but I did set it up.

So basically they don't normally have engagement rings like like on the store, so they they had the rings out and then Marla and I've been talking and we brought back there and we were like browsing, and so the goal was to figure out what you know, diamond she wanted.

Basically like what you know what shape?

Shame And so she is just having a.

Black and Bega doesn't know that they don't have engagement rings no like and the woman who was working and they're also wasn't in on it, which is good.

They didn't tell her because they didn't want anyone to like spoil the surprise.

But it was hard.

It was one of the hardest parts of the whole.

Engagement because she would not she would be refused to go look at the engagement rings like she she no.

Literally, like Marlon and I were like trying rings on.

Being like what do you think of this?

We were like, begad come over here, and she'd be like I'm chopping, like I'm out my free stuff.

And I literally had to look it back and I was like, babe, come over here and look at these rings.

Like she had no interest.

She was probably focused on trying to figure out.

No on what he no.

I and I got in my head at that moment I was like, if I gave it away, that was the moment I was like, that.

Was it trying to find the ring?

Yeah, basically like making basically forcing her to try these rings on.

Yeah, but I didn't.

I was just like, why are they trying to bust me around and give me to trial on rings?

I'm just trying to get my gifted jewels.

They're interrupting me.

So I I was clueless, and then I posted it clueless and then still had no idea.

And then when she told I still didn't know until she explained.

So you mean like getting the story, okay, but I want to I'm not the ring, the ring, the ring that you picked out, the ring that you're wearing, it's not it's not the exact one that she showed in the photo.

No, but it's the same shape.

So how did you know that that was the exact one?

And did you go like, cause do you have a hidden halo under the underneath?

Yeah?

So she's friend or friends with Nicole, who owns Ring Concient Yeah.

And so initially when I reached out to Nicole, she had said she wanted a cushion, and so she was actually almost perfectly right with what Becca wanted, but I was like, I don't know if this is like I can't just take your word on it, like I need to make sure.

So when I brought her in the store, that's the one she picked out, and so I was like, Okay, that's the.

Did she elongated cushion?

Elongated cushion, yeah, which most people don't know exists.

Yeah, and it's good.

It's good.

It's really good.

It's like the perfect hybrid of Oval and Wrecked and Emerald.

Okay, so the ring is secured and you know you're going to get it in time for your trip?

Absolutely?

Yes.

Because that was recent, they were not stressed.

I literally called them like months in advance, and they were like, this is like having a year.

She was like, I'm so used to guys calling me being like.

I have five days to go to the ring.

So she was like, this is a dream come true.

And she was like, we have so much time.

And I was like, great, wow, okay, that's the easiest part.

Okay, ring ring, secured, ring, secured planet packing for the trip.

Yeah, yeah, where'd you hide it?

So that was I heard, like no horror stories, but like it's most stressful to go through security because and I'm always like the girl who gets flagged because I'm bringing like Chinese herbs or I have some kind of weird thing and they're like what is this?

So I basically put the ring box was huge, so I put the ring box.

You know those take cookies, yeah, like a green So I took the cookies out, and I put the ring box in that bag because I always bring snacks on the plane, and then I put you put it in your carry on, yes, yeah, oh yeah, you know my cherry on and then I and then I have a jewelry box where I carry my jewelry.

It's like a small yellow box, and I put the ring there.

So I separated them just in case because if they were going through my jewelry, like they just want to really notice the ring hopefully, but if they like open a cookie thing and like a ring is in there and it's empty, like who cares?

Right, So that's what I did.

There's no rule book, you guys.

It's very stressful.

People don't understand how difficult, like I get at how people just go well, I like it's you.

You're fighting, fighting the surprise the whole time, because it's just it's so hard to not tell your partner what's going on.

And then in the house like how did where did you hide it?

In the house?

I put it in my hiking bag with my hiking shoes.

Smart like Becca would never grabbing my hiking We're hiking, we're hiking.

We're not wearing hiking shoes.

Cereal box be a bad idea, right, yeah, the waffle the waffle box in the freezer.

It was very stressed going.

Luckily I have t s a prechect she doesn't.

So I abandoned her and I said, she you later, She's.

Done that before.

This is a new behavior, so I didn't question that either.

I was like, go ahead, I'm clear, well, because she gets upset.

I go through regular and then I get flagged and I'm like, I am upset.

Well, but it's just like you know, it's just okay, a little thing your stuff.

No, to not bring your Chinese herbs is a block back, you know, et cetera.

What do they what do you think those Chinese herbs are?

Isn't there drugs?

I don't know, Oh, I don't know, but regardless, when I got through security, I was like yeah, I was like big one, and I was like, okay, we're good, We're good, we're going.

But did you like carry that bag?

Like was that bag attached to you?

You don't like it's a marry bag, Like I literally never go anywhere without it, and.

It's a roller bag.

It's like something Grandma carries.

She does.

She's like a briefcase on wheels rolling around a am I asking too many?

So we land in my Orca on what day?

Tuesday night?

The first July first Tuesday night, And do you know what day you're proposing?

No?

I had a like I was like, I'm proposing between three and five, no, July third, between July third and July fifth.

Okay, Well so there was.

A way time frame.

Yeah, okay, because also was stressful because I don't live in my arca.

So we're going.

You know, her dream is to go to my Arca during like high season with beautiful weather, but with that comes lots of people.

So and I'm like, okay, so my mission is to find turquoise water a beach with no one around, and I have to somehow figure this out.

So well, you did well, we did.

So.

My photographer Yk, who did my tour photography, he lives in Singapore, so he I texted him and he was traveling, and so he flew out and basically landed before we got there, and he scouted out the airbnb, he scouted out the beach, and so I'm like texting him while I'm on the plane.

He's sending He's basically doing a little key patient scout, and he's driving around to the beaches and checking them out in the mornings to see how crowded it is and how busy.

And luckily people sleep in over there, like the beaches aren't busy till like eleven, right, right or eleven.

I thought I was gonna have to propose to her at like six am, So I was like mentally preparing to like drag.

Her out of the bed, get her into position.

Like I literally was like, this is gonna be the hardest thing, because she's very go with the flow.

So my thought is, you know, between July third and fifth, we could plan to do a July third and then she might be like, I'm tired, I want to sleep.

In, right, I can't drag her out of bed.

We're gonna but you have a photographer, like you have to tell him.

He just.

Stand by like just ready to go, and like then uh and then so yeah, I'll keep asking questions.

No, but like that is like something that is so like such a girl thing, do you know, like having the securing the photographer and like making sure that that's good to go.

Like I remember, I think Robbie would reach out to Becca to be like our photographer for our engagement.

And like.

Might somehow somebody nudged him to get a photographer.

Yeah, but like leave it to like Haley to like make sure like I know she wants to go to be secure.

But it was helpful because he was basically scouting out the areas I wanted reporting back, she shared.

When they facetimed us, Haley showed us like a stick figure drawing of like where the spot was scouted out.

He put like a rock there so that like she would stand there.

Becca would stand like he.

Like so he basically, my friend who used to live in my Arca recommended me this beach and so y K scouted it.

It was perfect and I was trying to get I had a very specific vision of the shot, which was like turquoise water and then like Becca and so I drew out what the shot should be, and then y K got to the location and literally was drawing on the photo stick figures of where I should stand and where to position her.

And then the night the morning of, y K was texting me.

He left this like rock and like a piece of tissue on on the ground and he was like, look for the rock and the.

Tissue, and he sent me like a video of how to get there.

And so that was like my position to you know, to look out for for the shot because the shot had to be perfect.

And you're on the rock or she's on the rock or you're on the rock.

Was just like a placement holder.

I was actually supposed to move the rock, but I forgot to move it.

Rock, big rock.

Yeah, yeah, I haven't seen I just found out an hour ago, So no, I haven't seen anything.

We can keep going, Yeah, Mark.

Let's see if it matches his vision.

This is like important, but I think Becker should talk more because this is her.

Becca will became of their engagement.

Now I've seen the photos.

I can't imagine a more perfect spot.

Yeah, so Becca, no crazy crazy chills that around eleven thirty at that beach, there's like like tens of twenties.

Of boats, like just boats everywhere.

People, So what time was this?

I think we got there around tens We got there like nine okay?

And was there was there an excuse given as to why we need to be there early?

Brian did becka push back?

No, so we Her friend told her, who lived in Majorca, about this beach that's like a little more just known by the locals, but it gets busy, you know, at a certain point after ten.

Yeah.

So she told me, which, we go on vacations all the time and we'll go travel to a beach and like we we will get up early because if you read like views and stuff, people are like you need to get here early for parking.

So like I was totally not thrown by that at all because we did all the time, and she was like, let's go.

It's so beautiful, we'll take pictures.

I remember you guys went on one of your Cabo trips.

You got up like with the sun, right, Yeah, yeah, we've been just shocking.

Yeah, I am up for an I'm willing to get up for an experience.

Okay, okay, so we're up.

You know what's happening the next morning?

You basically yeah, I had texted wy I was like, depending on whether she wakes up, I'll let you know.

And so we had texted, like, we're temporarily proposing July third, okay to the temporary plan.

How did you get Becca to like be cute at Oh, this is a good question.

However, let's take a break and we'll be right back, and we're back.

Okay, So it's the morning of the proposal.

You told Becca we're getting up at whatever time.

How are you ready?

Ish, which really I mean I looked.

I liked my outfit because I know you're in makeup.

I mean, okay, we What we haven't mentioned is that there was a intense heat wave going on in my Orca.

It was they had never seen anything.

Yeah, it was.

It was all of Europe, like us shut down the Eiffel Tower or something.

It was like crazy were there.

We were in it.

And so my let me tell you before, I was probably the most casual I've been about packing outfits on this trip.

I packed a few hair tools, but like I was like whatever, I'm just gonna try and like disconnect.

Recharge, like we're not doing content.

My outfits were fine, but I didn't get anything like oh my god, because I was just like I'm just gonna disengage.

She's never done that.

You know.

What's so funny is before we left, when I was packing for our honeymoon, I was texting Becca and because like Becca always overpacks, and I was like finding myself overpacking for my honeymoon.

I was like just about how many bags do you pack?

And like how many hair tools, how many outfits?

What's appropriate?

What's appropriate?

And I had packed like essentially what you normally pack, which is like a big suitcase and then like a carry on.

Yeah, so I didn't.

I packed a big suitcase and.

A carry on, but I'm not all your tools.

I packed.

Well, yeah, because there's only a certain amount in brands that will work in Europe without like overheating.

So I just brought what I had and I was like, whatever, it's fine, I'm just gonna go chill.

My hair was like so poofy every day.

I was like, I mean you would, you would get ready walk out and it was like instant sweat.

Yeah, like in an oven, Like you couldn't walk around and chop, like you had to immediately get into a body of water.

Yeah, it's always be when I'm.

From Los Angeles, so I'm used to desert and like I'm not used to humidity.

So I we got there and I was like, oh my gosh, I'm gonna have to propose to.

Hur at like six am.

You guys by ten am, You're like, I can't be outside.

But that's just because I'm not used to that weather.

You know, I'm not either.

So I put on the outfit and it's like a beach outfit, you know.

I had a swimsuit on a little bandana around my as a top and then like, okay, I thought so too.

You know, it was great.

I was like, oh, this will look so good with the turquoise water when we take pictures.

But by no means was I thinking.

This is a proposal you know, yeah, yeah, yeah, but I love that.

I didn't know because it was I mean, I kind of had a spiral about it because I was like, was it the most flattering?

I don't know, but no, it was super It just I just remember she had said like these are this is what I would want when we proposed, And so when she put her outfit together, I was like texting Marla like panicked, like like is she going to get mad at me if I don't give her heads up?

Like do I tell her that they're photographer?

Is like waiting for us, And Marla was like, no, it's going to give it away.

And so I just was like, you know what, We're just gonna have to go with this because giving her the surprise was the most important thing to me.

Yeah, And I was like, we'll just do more photos if we need to later, you know, like we'll just do another photo shoot.

So she's your cue, little bandana.

Beach outfit on and I said, I texted y K and I said, we are on our way, And so he was at the beach waiting in like the bushes, like in heat.

Yeah, poor guy, I know.

And it was also one of the things that in hindsight, I should have been suspicious about, is that she was steaming her clothes and she just care about wrinkles ever, Like an she'll leave the house, I'm like, babe, please let me stee your pants.

Like I'll just be like, I'll do it for you.

So she goes, I think I'm gonna steam my clothes for tomorrow the night before, and I should have been like, something's going on, but again I was like, she's growing up.

So yeah, we go and we drive to the beach.

We had a breakfast and.

At our house and the region is in your pocket.

The ring is in my purse.

Oh right, yeah, And she I have.

To say, like I will say, and I've always said this on the podcast, but like, Haley makes me feel like the most beautiful person in the world.

Like I walked out and she was like, baby, you look amazed.

So I was like, dang, she's so into me in this.

She's like this on.

Yeah, So we drive It was like an hour drive to get to the beach.

And we get there and she's like, let's just leave the stuff in the car or beat stuff in the car, will come back and get it.

And I'm like, this looks like a hike.

You're gonna we're gonna come back up and get the beach stuff because she don't want there to be like a pile of.

Stuff our suff Wow, that is a level of thinking through that is really.

Impressive, so impressive.

And so we walk down and we go on this like little path where and mind you, I had never been there, so I had to watch like a video and memorize how to get down to the spot and find the raw correct.

So did you play it like, oh, let's go this way?

Why here?

Oh I think my friend told me to go this way.

And I just say yeah, and I'm just following her.

I'm like okay.

So she makes it like abrupt stop and start setting up the dry bottom like okay, I guess, and I'm like watching her.

She comes up.

I had a like a key little sun bucket hat on and sunglasses and she just takes the hat off of me, takes my sunglasses and I'm like, why.

Are you doing?

Like she's not saying anything.

The camera was set up and rolling because you sent us that and I saw that, and that's like the mys are like shaking, Yeah I can't.

And you see, like you see her walk over to Becca and pull her hat and her sunglasses off, and Beck it's just like I'm.

Like, I don't even say anything to her because I was just like at this point, I'm making no excuses.

I gotta just like go, yeah she didn't.

Watching Becca's face go from like what the hell did you just do?

To like whatever you pull out of your purse like and the moment you realize what's happening is like so sweet.

Well, I was watching her set it up and she was struggling, like I could tell, and it was so bright.

At that point she crossed the shot, so I see her because I was watching her.

I see her pull the box out of her purse and I'm like, what is well, yeah, I was like what is that?

What is that?

And she walks me over to the now I know, the rock and she.

I'm crying.

She's already crying, and I'm like so overwhelmed because I was so un it was so unexpected, and I was just like so overwhelmed and like trying to be present.

She said like amazing things to me, and she can't remember, was about like I'll keep you safe and like I'll be your safe, you know, just like just like beautiful things that have always made me feel like she was my person.

And then she got down on me and asked me to marry her and I said yes.

And at what point, though, did it register for you?

I mean, as soon as I saw the ring but I was the ring box.

The ring box.

Yeah, I was just like, oh my god, I can't believe I'm so caught off guard because I always thought it was going to be me.

And there was this moment like honestly where like the part of me that has some control issues was like very caught off guard, like, oh my god, she got me.

Yeah, she called me so good, and she was stressed that we only had the iPhone.

Very had a convo like that she needed professional photos and there's nothing against iPhone photos, but like that's a request she had asked for.

I just was like I would love to have a photographer capture at the moment, of course, and especially you know, when you're in a place like that.

It was just like wow, and so I did have it was funny what was running through my mind, which was, oh my god, oh we we don't even know if it's on us shop Orgles.

So she got downe on knee and said yes and then opened the box and I was just like, oh my god, and I said yes, and then then you put it on.

She put the ring on me and it's perfect.

And then y K popped out of the bushes and went.

Hi, And then I started, I think that sunk in.

Yeah, she starts crying.

I think maybe it's because I knew we got good photos, but I was just.

No.

But I think it was like all of a sudden, it was like sinking and what just happened and it was magical.

And then we jumped into the crystal clear blue water and we swam and it was just like.

Wait, what did she say?

Does anybody remember?

Did you both black out?

Yeah?

I was trying.

She was just saying, like, you know, like making her promises to me and that she'll be my family and my safe space and that she we've been through so much and we've gotten to this point and we did it.

All in our own time, and it was just so beautiful and perfect for to like encapsulate our relationship and our journey.

So it was it was so special.

It was so cool.

Like I get why people once they get engaged and they get married, like they they will not stop posting their foot They'll be like had a burger and then they're posting their photos from there, because it's just like, I mean, we're obviously committed to each other, but and we both have had commitment issues and we've gone through like like do we want to get married, do we want to get engaged?

Like do we need this?

What do we So it's so cool to just do it on our own terms and to do it just because we wanted to to like celebrate even though we knew it was going to be forever anyways.

And so it was a really it was a really cool feeling, like I get it, Like I'm like, oh, this is cool.

This is really cool, and like you know, another layer of teamwork of like navigating.

You know, we've navigated so much and so to know that we can literally get through anything, it's just like amazing to be able to start this chapter with that much like strength and endurance and confidence each other.

And this is just the beginning of it.

I know it's only going to get stronger as it goes on, and then when you get married, like it just gets better and better.

And I'm so excited that, like you guys are starting this because it's just like I was just like so shocked, Like.

I like, I was terrible.

I wasn't able to tell you.

Yeah, it was like prize was the most important thing I I had to prioritize.

Becca was upset.

I understood why you didn't tell me, although I found out Robbie knew so that through a whole nother.

She had to tell Robbie to tell Tanya to quit with the comments of bridal era.

And so that's why he said that interesting.

Yeah, but actually, do you know what's even funnier about that is And it all came back to me after like I found all this out.

But we were out to dinner.

Uh this was before our honeymoon, and he was like, Babe, like if somebody came to you and like or if like Becca came to you and said, like don't tell anybody something like, would you tell me?

And I was like yeah, I was like I think Becca tells me stuff, assuming that I'm gonna tell you.

And he brought it up again in like a dinner with like Pauline and Sophia, and he was like, if somebody came to you in confidence, like would you tell I'm like, so he was struggling, was right because then I kept saying no, I would tell you for sure, like that was always my response.

And then after you guys got engaged, he like was telling me all that and I was like, oh my gosh, you little so who did know?

Well, only just a handful of people really like Marla like five yeah, yeah, like like a group of four or five, and nobody's spilled.

Nobody's spilled like literally Academy Award winning performances truly.

Well, the night one of the few nights before we left, we were laying in bed and she had gardened and I did not, and she we were like giggling.

She was being really giggly, and.

I said, yeah, this was like two nights before we left, and I go, what what sort of the conversation?

I didn't know, but she literally looked me in the eye and went, do you have a ring?

And I just start giggling, like hackling, and my whole theory was like if I lie to her, she'll know.

So I was always trying to be truthful but just finding a way around it.

So you were like, yeah, I have a ring.

Actually wouldn't answer me, and I go, you to swear on our relationship.

I don't have a ring, and.

Like the closet and like yes, but she's like laughing, and so I'm like, you swear on my relationship you don't have a ring?

And she goes, yes, I do, and I'm like you do what?

And she was like I swear And I was like, say it, I s our relationship.

I don't want to do.

That's actually a smart move to not lie.

Was trying, but I did have to lie there, yeah, which I get.

I mean a relationship.

I was like, you're about to ruin your engage.

I'm not going to want me to tell you that, yes, I do have a ring.

I just was like, there's no way I would know.

I'm so happy.

I'm all still so shocked, Like I was like so convinced you weren't that, Like even I was getting my hair done and Tawny our mutual friends like they're totally getting engaged.

On this trip, right, And I was like, no, they're they're not, Like I know for sure they're not.

It's so interesting.

So many people had like energy about it.

It was so weird.

Tawny texted me today and was like, I knew it, and I go, I did it.

I wasn't lying when I said we weren't getting engaged.

We called her that night?

Oh we did, yeah, because like I just thought that you called me.

It was nighttime, your time.

So we got engaged at like eleven am.

We like swam in the ocean stuff, and then we went and got lunch and then walked walked around the town there and then we drove home and that's when I called you, and.

Then we called you a few and then we had dinner and did some more photos.

Mind you, when they called me Robbie on my phone, he was trying to like send photos to his phone from my phone, and he just becka face times me and he's like becka his face timing and just answers it.

I was like, bro, I just answered my phone like that and also I'm like, why is Becka facetiming me?

Like I was like he knew right, like you didn't want me to miss it.

He was like yeah, little liar.

But anyways, I was like also thrown off.

I was like, why is she facetiming me?

And then you said it right away and I was like just totally freakin'.

It's so good.

The video is so funny when I tell you, shock like it was just so she was when I'm proposed to her, she literally like I've never seen.

Her like that, and she was so giddy.

It was so cute.

She kept like looking at her ring and then like screaming to herself, like like a silent scream, like.

You know, and it was so cute, like she just kept like pinching herself.

She just was like in shock.

If something comes over you, yeah, you feel with the ring, She's like, it just feels like right, like I never wear rings because I'm always bothered by something being like on my fingers and tight.

But it hasn't bothered me at all.

I haven't.

And it's a moment of putting it on.

The first time I slept with it and then my finger was like swollen, and I was like, oh, maybe I'm not so to sleep in this.

No, I have a routine every night now I take it out, I put it in my ring dish, and then every morning I take my ring dish and I put it on Like that's like so I know I never lose it.

It's always not ring dish.

I have one by my bed, I have one in my bathroom, and then I have one by the sink in the kitchen.

So those are like the three places I can always I'll only put my ring down.

It was a dish, So this is your first one?

Wow, Because I didn't know.

And then I started getting into like a Robbie wanted to like make.

Merch and.

We're going on tour.

I want to make merch, And I was like, I don't know, Like are you guys going to be like are you taking each other's last names?

Like what's our Like, Oh, we have a questions we haven't even got.

We're still like processing and telling people like we just announced it, you know publicly, and like the people that have colleges, they're like.

To propose to her.

I know, it's gonna get a K, like a K for your ring dish.

And then and then Robbie is like, I think you should get a K, and I'm like, no, because what if I don't know if she's taking her last name.

And also like she wears an H.

She has all these H necklaces.

Literally it's so perfect.

She literally I was looking for one in my or and I couldn't find.

We were trying to find.

This is perfect.

I have another one that like I want to get, like the nice one to like nice one that's gonna get made, but like this was I was like, I seed something.

Like fast, this one by the s perfect.

Yeah, yeah, I So we ended up y K was there to take photos of us, so we took some like sunset photos that night when we got back to where we were staying, and then he also was there the next day, so we did like we did.

Like did a bunch of photos, a bunch of photos.

She really made sure I had the photos.

If I'm being honest, the photo that you sent Robbie and I from that photo shoot is like, actually, we both agree, one of the coolest photos we've ever seen in our lives.

So yeah, we haven't posted that money.

Yeah, it's gonna be posted at some point, right, Yeah, yeah.

I mean it's literally one of the coolest photos I've ever seen in my life.

It was really just like all around so special and I just have never felt so I mean, I think that's the whole thing about our relationship is that Haley like knows me and she's always made me feel so seen and I felt like every detail of it was so thought out to be tailor made for me, and it was just like, wow, the dream easiest yes I've ever said.

Are you guys just in like total Like it's just we're just like stoked, like and that's why it's like people are like asking us questions and it's like for us, like and having like commitment issues and stuff like just getting engaged is like the go in Like to us, that's the end, Like that's the finish.

Yeah, like we've done that, and that's like the skin sometimes the scary thing to do, you know, because you don't know.

And so it's so cool to be in a place where you just feel one hundred percent confident, and I'd always be like when.

Do you know?

And I think for me emotional, but for me it's like, you know, people talk about having fear of commitment, and it's like it's about finding a partner where you can you can change with Like I think what's changed my like fear of commitment is knowing that I can change and I can grow with Becca and not that our relationship can always evolve and so I'll never feel stock or trapped or like can I do this forever?

Because like with her, we can do anything forever, like we can so so she gives me this freedom that takes away this fear that I've had for a long time, and also too like being you know, w LW.

Growing up, I didn't legally I wasn't legally allowed to get married, and so growing up it was never like I can't wait to get married.

It was like, oh, I can't do that, right, And so it was never something that I dreamed of doing because I couldn't.

So it's been like a very long evolving process to be like can I do this?

Is this something I want to do?

And now that we legally can, hopefully that doesn't get taken away in the next couple of sen you know, decades.

But yeah, so it's just it's been cool to be like, oh, like I feel free, to be able to commit forever.

Safe, it's a safe year.

Yeah, the opposite of fear.

So yeah, so it was interesting how they they they work with one another and to see like what kind of holds people back from commitment because they need to feel free, and like I feel free with Becca and so that's what's like so cool.

When did you make if I made that decision, because you know, Becka said she was going to propose.

You know what, I'm just going to do it, and I'm going.

So I last year, I was just like when I am done with work and that twenty twenty five is the year.

So like I mentally committed to that.

I was like, you know, this feels like the right.

We're just we're just in like bliss, Like we just have figured like we've done couples therapy, we've done everything, and like I just feel so confident in her as a partner and so and we've always do our trips in July.

For fourth of July, it's like the best week to take off because everyone one's off and so and that was like our go mode, you know.

And so I found the perfect airbnb.

She's been wanting to go to Majorca, and so it all just like worked out perfectly.

I like, it's so so we got so you guys, I found out obviously we were on our honeymoon, so we were like gone, and in my mind, I'm like like I gotta do this, and I was like talking to Robbie and I'm like I mentally was prepared for like top of twenty twenty six, like that's where my head was with Becca, so like, well I.

Knew she was going to probably propose to me in twenty twenty six, correct, And so I needed to go before her, and I needed to get it done before her because I wanted to surprise her because she deserved, like she does so much for me, Like she deserves to be like absolutely showered with love and shocked and just like going second.

It's just like like I want her to have the first moment, you know, so beautiful and so special and like I mean, I can't even I.

Was like.

I got rid of all my bridal stuff because like time like it's gonna be twenty twenty six, and then I was like scrambling like to get these signs up and stuff.

It's just like if I was like as shocked as I was, I can't imagine, like it probably was like times like a bazillion to you.

Yeah, it's like so crazy.

And I have to say.

We we got home and it was a long travel day coming home.

We were like dead.

And we get to our house and it is the most insane floral arrangement anyone has ever seen on our front porch.

It's like a heart that's.

I want to say.

It was like four feet tall, yeah, three tall of a huge heart of roses.

I've seen this in movies.

I've never seen this in real life.

And I'm.

Froman and Robbie.

It was so thoughtful because you know, I know that you're the most celebratory person, and I know how much you love us, you and Robbie, and I think like I knew y'all were on your honeymoon, so I didn't expect anything.

I just knew that y'all were happy for us, and that felt like enough.

And then we get home and it's like this big arrangement and then we get here and it's like all this stuff and you're just the best.

I love it.

I'm like both of us, Robby and I are so so happy for you guys, and like it killed me that I couldn't be there, like I wanted to like be there with you guys, and so I was like, my god, it like really when they get home, like I want them to just like show up to something just like so beautiful and like just that I want.

I was like, I want them to say, like I just want them to feel so loved when they see this.

I was like I need it to be big and beautiful and yeah, trying to leave you alone and not ask you a million questions, but I was like I need to know what time you guys are getting back, because it was like one hundred degrees that day, so I didn't want flowers sitting out all day.

Yeah.

No, it was literally perfect.

Yeah, it was amazing, Yeah, amazing.

It was like out of a movie.

Yeah.

So the rest of the trip we just kind of like we we went back to our engagement spot and like spent the whole day at the beach and we.

Didn't tell the best part.

What's what's better than It's just a really great detail.

Oh so my friend told me about this beach okay, but he didn't tell me it was a newdist So I'm literally proposing the back guy and there's like a sea of penises.

I have never she was educated that day, seen so much education in my life.

Yeah, she was like, babe.

I was like, just don't make like, can we take a picture of you?

And I was like, I can't look at you right now because literally someone's butt hole in my face.

It was like and honestly it was like it was so like we joined.

It was its great, We loved it.

But it was just so funny that these two women are getting engaged and if you panned the camera, they're just penis.

Yeah.

So yeah, that was so that's why that location worked perfectly because.

People very Yeah, definitely, no kid, everyone's just there to get their tan on and chill.

You know what.

I also just realized, I think it might have been the day you guys got engaged.

But on our honeymoon, the first day we got to Anguilla, there was a double rainbow.

Oh yeah, I say it was beautiful.

I think it was the day you guys got engaged.

Wow, that's emotional because you.

Ended up calling me the next day.

I called you the day of July third, but for me it was the next day.

Nor behind us.

We'll have to look at that.

But that's like I believe, regardless, it happened at the same time.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, so yeah, it was just a trip of a lifetime, and we're so excited.

I just kept thinking about the day you met in that whole story, and you too, sizing each other up.

I haven't swam in this end of the pore curious and now look years later, seven years later, spending the rest of your life together.

You're gonna spend the rest of your lives together, which.

Is so crazy.

Like I always thought, I'm like, I cannot imagine a life or future without Haley.

But there is something really fun about having the symbolism of forever, you know.
