Can any of you guys in the building relate to me? Okay, what do you do when God's timing feels too slow? Am I talking yet? Am I preaching yet? Am I relating to you yet? Am I. Am I touching your skin yet? Obedient but Overdrafted.
Edna Harding [00:01:44]:
Okay, guys, so first of all, for those of you guys who are new here, welcome to my podcast. My name is Edna Harding, and I'm nothing but a messenger of hope life and truth in business. And I'm so excited that you're tuning in today. If you're here, that means the Holy Spirit. I wanted you to listen to this. Okay, so, so glad you're here. And I want to just welcome each and every one of you, even to those who have been listeners for all this time. Thank you for your support all these years.
Edna Harding [00:02:14]:
I can't believe I started this podcast in 2020. It's now 2025, five years later. I didn't think I would make it. In fact, a lot of people told me. I didn't realize you were still doing that. I was like, yeah, I've been consistent, because I know that I hear from the Holy Spirit. I know that everything that the Lord downloads is a message that at least one person needs to hear. So please continue your support by liking, commenting, sharing, subscribing, leaving ratings, that whatever platform you're listening to or just please, please, please just do your part.
Edna Harding [00:02:51]:
I understand it's the Holy Spirit that moves, but he also uses individuals like yourself to help with the algorithms and expand the reach of his message. All right, so. So let's Start off by thinking about the moment when your calling is clear, you know exactly what you need to do, but then your profit margin isn't validating your calling. Anybody else again? Anybody else? So, you know, you know, God sent you. You know, you've been obedient, you're showing up, you're sowing seeds, and nothing's growing yet, right? Today we're going to unpack the term divine delay. Have you ever heard of that divine delay where you're not failing, but you're just not in alignment with God's perfect timing? Right? You're not in line with God's perfect timing. So today we'll walk through five powerful questions that's going to expose whether you need to pivot or whether you just need to persevere. All right, so you guys ready? I hope you're excited about this episode as I am, because I really think this is going to help you.
Edna Harding [00:04:11]:
I learned this the hard way, so please, please, please learn from my labor pains, okay? This is going to help you. So let's start off with Habakkuk 2, 2, 3, which says, for the vision awaits an appointed time, okay? Because here, here's the thing, my friends. Sometimes God speaks the vision long before he releases the harvest, okay? So you might have a dream, you might have a prophetic word. You might have, you know, an. A revelation, a word of knowledge as you're writing in your journal in times of prayer, my friend, he tells you the vision, he shows you his end goal, and then he develops your character, and then he prepares your audience, and then he starts building your platform, right? He builds the platform he's going to use. He builds you the vessel and the platform you're going to be using, whatever that may look like. It could be through social media, it could be through a podcast. It could be through, you know, your business.
Edna Harding [00:05:10]:
It could be through speaking, through dancing, through singing. I don't know, Whatever talent you may have, okay? All that stuff needs to be prepared before the harvest comes. And I think this is what people struggle with all the time. It's like Noah, he built the ark before the promise came, which is the rain, right? So, my friends, I know you don't want to hear this, and you probably want to tune me out right now because you don't want to hear this, but this is going to save you so much heartache. A lot of times, in fact, almost 99% of the time, when you get a vision, it's not going to happen right then. And now, there's a process that needs to take place before the manifestation of every promise. I've seen this time and time again. You see me on my YouTube channel the first four months, five months, I'm like, today's the day.
Edna Harding [00:05:59]:
Today's the day. I'm thinking like, okay, my. My breakthrough, my million dollars, it's all gonna come today. Today. And I kept saying that, and I was disappointed and disappointed every year that felt flew by. I was like, what in the world, God? I don't know if I believe anymore. But you know what? Hindsight's 20 20. Like, it's so funny because today in the kitchen, I was like, preparing dinner for my family.
Edna Harding [00:06:22]:
And I was like, thank you, Jesus. Thank you that you did not give my millions, because I swear, I would have wasted that thing. I didn't have the capacity or the wisdom or the wherewithal or the knowledge to know what I do know now. And I know that if I get that money or when. Not if, but when I get that money, I know how spend it wisely. And I'm not just going to buy what I want. You know, the fancy cars and all that. I know what to do with the funds because he gave me instructions, and it prepared me so that I won't care what people think, but only care about what he thinks.
Edna Harding [00:06:58]:
You see, all the things, all the waiting, all the process, all the delay, all the challenges was molding you and preparing you for that harvest which is bound to happen. And for those of you guys who've been waiting for a long time, I truly believe that this year is it 2025. Now, let's look at examples in the Bible. You have Joseph, who prepared for 13 years. You have David, who went through a fugitive phase. Remember, he was running away from Saul. You have Jesus, who was hidden for 30 years, right? Think Abraham, how long he waited, right? So. And you have Hannah, who waited for a son.
Edna Harding [00:07:37]:
Like, there's a lot of waiting in the Bible and a lot of people don' to hear this, but this is the truth. But one thing I can say is the waiting is never wasted, and it's always working for your good. So you have to trust him. So I want you guys to ask some questions. We're going to talk about five questions to ask yourself to help you navigate through this waiting period. Okay, so number one, have you drifted from your mission? Have you drifted from your mission? So. So how do you know if you've drifted? Okay, well, number one, are you saying yes to everything just to survive? Okay. Are you confused about your messaging? Like you're saying one thing one week.
Edna Harding [00:08:18]:
The next week you're saying something else. This is what I'm doing. Don't change the vision. Don't change the mission just because your circumstances doesn't line up with your. With what God told you. Stick to what he told you. Stick to what he told you, no matter the external circumstances. I'm telling you, I'm preaching already.
Edna Harding [00:08:38]:
If you might not say, I'm already preaching. Okay. Are you. Are you doing services that don't fit your original vision? Because you're trying to survive. Okay? Remember, my friends, whatever God told you to build, that's what you build. So what I want you to do is I want you to audit your activities, everything that you're doing for your business, and I want you to ask yourself what percentage of these activities actually aligns with your assignment? Right? Matthew 6:33 says, Seek first the kingdom of God. Here's what happens when you seek God's instructions, when you seek God through His word, when you ask him for clarity. Clarity creates conversion.
Edna Harding [00:09:16]:
Okay? And alignment attracts abundance. Okay? How do you know you're in the right track? Because somehow, some way, whatever you need, God is providing for you supernaturally, whether if it's your own means or someone else giving it to you or open doors like, you have to be aware. I know I'm in the flow of the Holy Ghost because everything I need is literally falling onto my lap at the right moment, at the right time. It's like I'm in sync with the spirit. There isn't that much opposition. It's like I had opposition before, but now it seems like things are flowing right. The timing of everything is. Is at a pace of grace.
Edna Harding [00:09:57]:
That's how I know that this is God's timing. Because it's easy. Do you hear me? It's easy when it's easy, Especially after a hard season. This is a sign from the heaven saying, hey, this is now the time for you to move. The second question I want you to ask yourself is, am I operating from identity or insecurity? So, for example, are you pricing, posting and pivoting from a place of confidence or comparison? Oh, come on. I'm preaching already again. So are you pricing your services to compare? So you're trying to keep up with the Joneses and raise your price because you're thinking if I don't raise my price, then my value isn't that great. Okay, don't change your price only because you're trying to keep up with the Joneses, right? So for me, For a while, I kept my prices very low because I felt the Holy Spirit wanted me to.
Edna Harding [00:10:53]:
But now it's like, okay, because my assignment is getting bigger. I have more things to do, I need more fun. So a lot of my prices have been raised. Does that make sense? And the second thing you want to ask yourself is, are you. Oh my gosh, I'm brain just went back. Are you posting just for the sake of being out there or is God really telling you to post? Right, I have to really check myself. This is a hard one. So I'm like, okay, am I posting for the algorithms or am I posting because I know there's a lot of people looking forward to my post, right? That needs encouragement.
Edna Harding [00:11:25]:
So to me, it's a little bit of both, if I'm honest. Like, part of it is like, okay, I have to post so that I could ensure that my ranking is up there. But the second thing is also I do know that the solution that I provide through the words that are coming out of my posts is speaking life into dead places. So I'm. So it's like a win win for me, right? So it's not always like that, but sometimes it's both, right? So I said all this to say that it's important that you only price and you post based on the leading of the Holy Spirit, okay? Not because you're trying to compare, try to keep up with everyone else around you. Remember, you're not called to be a clone, right? God's hand is on your version of the business, not a knockoff. So you don't have to be like someone else. Be authentically you and create what God told you to create.
Edna Harding [00:12:19]:
First Peter 2. 9 says you're a chosen generation. What happens is your identity. If you're truly living out your best self, your true self, you're going to attract your ideal client, the one that appreciates you, the one that, that respects you, the one that truly loves you. I had a call, not a call, but a meeting with a, a potential client. And she was crying. She's like, I've been praying for someone like you. This is how you know you're in the right place, right? God is bringing people.
Edna Harding [00:12:55]:
That is exactly who, what we need to, what we like, basically who we're called to help and exactly what they, that they need us. Does that make sense? Because when you're, when you, when you're really walking into gifting, walking into anointing, you're going to attract the right clients. And let me tell you, if you're trying to keep up with the Joneses and trying to be something you're not. Your insecurity will repel them. They'll know if you're being fake. They'll know if you're being authentic. They'll know if you're not. Okay, so that's the second.
Edna Harding [00:13:25]:
The third question I want you to ask yourself, is fear driving your decisions? Okay, so this is huge because a lot of people say yes to clients that they know they're not aligned with. They avoid price increasing because they're afraid people are going to say no. Right. They stay stuck instead of investing in growth. Right. They, they want to, they don't want to spend a lot. They're fearful. So they don't want to invest in better systems or, or, or higher tier type of coaching or higher tier of mentoring.
Edna Harding [00:13:54]:
Why? Because you're afraid. And Joshua 1:9 says, Be strong and courageous. Remember, God didn't just give you a calling, he gave you to courage to walk it out. And a lot of times the courage to walk it out requires some level of faith. When you do what God says for you to do, it's never going to come easy, is always going to require a little bit of faith. If it's not taking you faith to do that. Something you want to ask yourself, is this really God or is this just some random tip? Right? I can tell you, every single move I made required some sort of faith for me. It was always, there was always a faith component to it.
Edna Harding [00:14:32]:
It was never easy. Okay. I had to crucify my flesh, crucify my logical thinking, crucify my emotion and be like, okay, yes, Lord, all the way. All right, all right. Remember that faith moves forward and fear keeps you stuck. Okay? Are you moving forward? Are you staying stuck? Number four. The fourth question I want you to ask yourself is, am I striving or am I flowing? Striving is when you're burnt out, when you have confusion, when you have exhaustion, when you're flowing. That means grace, favor, momentum.
Edna Harding [00:15:07]:
Right? You're getting, you have the grace to overcome every challenge you may face. You're receiving favor left and right and you're seeing momentum. You're seeing progress in your movement and your efforts. So I want to ask you, I want you to ask yourself, are your efforts yielding results or is it wearing you out? Are you seeing fruits for your labor? Are doors opening through grace or are you doors opening through force? These are key things to look out for. And I promise you, when you figure that out, you're going to realize oh, my gosh. I'm not in the will of God, or I am in the will of God. Matthew 11:28 says, Come to me and I will give you rest. Okay? So if it's not blessed.
Edna Harding [00:15:47]:
If it's not blessed, that means you need to realign. We need to rest. You need to recalibrate. It's not supposed to be stressful. Yes, you're going to have some challenges, but it shouldn't be feeling anxious. You shouldn't feel fearful. It shouldn't feel pressured. You're, you're, you're.
Edna Harding [00:16:05]:
You're stretching your faith, but you shouldn't be overwhelmed. You should have the peace of God. God, when you're dealing with that, if you don't have peace, those are signs that there's something off. Do you hear me? All right, the fifth question and the last question I want you to ask yourself is, am I faithful with the small? Luke 16:10 says, he who is faithful with little will be faithful. Which much. Which means, don't despise small beginnings. The seed stage tests your stewardship before the scale shows up. I'm going to say that one more time.
Edna Harding [00:16:37]:
The seed stage. I can tell you guys, I know, like, even though my process was so long, it's because I had to pass the siege stage. And thank God I only lost 650, 000 instead of $6 million. How dumb would that be? Do you understand what I'm saying, my friends? Thank God. Thank God I only messed up over with over 30 people versus messing up over 3,000 people in my presentation. Like, all the things, all the battles I face, all the challenges I face in building this program, my business unlimited program, I want to group coaching program, my podcast. All of these things, all the lessons I've learned in small pieces is only preparing me for the bigger stages, the bigger projects, the bigger situations, right? So don't despise small beginnings. Remember that when you learn to steward the little again, he knows that he can pass you on to the next level.
Edna Harding [00:17:38]:
And you will. You will. You. You're prepared for that level because you have been equipped in the little battles, right? The small, the small, like the. Think Holy Spirit, the lions and the bears, like David before he became a king and dealt with the Goliath. All right? So the questions I want you to ask yourself is, am I showing up with excellence now? Am I managing what I do have? Like, I'm ready for more, right? Are you showing to God I can handle this? This isn't all these challenges, okay? I can handle this Lord, I got this. I got this. We got this, right? Faithfulness.
Edna Harding [00:18:16]:
Hear, my friend. Hear me, my friend. This is going to wake you up if you're not, if you're not already awake. Awake from your slumber, my friends. Faithfulness is heaven's promotion strategy. When you're feeling faithful, when you're consistent, when you're disciplined, heaven is going to promote you. Jesus is going to promote you. Father's going to promote you.
Edna Harding [00:18:34]:
Holy Spirit is going to promote you. Are you consistent? Everyone can be all excited in the beginning and do the work the first month or the first, second month or four years, five years, six years, seven years, 12 years. Can you be consistent with a little? Can you, can you be disciplined knowing that you're going to steward your time and resources well, even if it's little, even though you're not getting the fruits of your labor yet, can you steward it well? All right, so let's go ahead and go over the five questions real quick. First question to audit yourself. Am I mission aligned? Number two, is my identity leading or is it insecurity? Number three, am I making decisions in fear or faith? Number four, am I striving or am I flowing? And the last one, am I faithful in the small?
