[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to Jumping Bomb Audio.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hello everyone and welcome back to Jumping Bomb Audio, the number one show all about the world of Yoshi, Pro Wrestling.

[SPEAKER_01]: My name is Taylor and I am joined as always by my very good friend in co-host Kelly.

[SPEAKER_01]: Kelly, how's it going?

[SPEAKER_03]: It's going good.

[SPEAKER_03]: I just I had to thought just now that at some point [SPEAKER_03]: we should swap the intro and I do it but I say I'm Taylor and then I throw it to you and you say you're Kelly and we just really confuse everyone.

[SPEAKER_03]: Well now you've sort of given up the...

Well, we'll do it so long ago they won't remember or so long from now.

[SPEAKER_01]: So we have to keep doing this podcast for another five years.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: And do it.

[SPEAKER_01]: in five years time.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, uh, September 14th, 20 30.

[SPEAKER_03]: Mark it in the camera.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really thinking about myself in five years, still doing this podcast.

[SPEAKER_01]: An elderly man.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.

[SPEAKER_01]: Doing a Josie podcast.

[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, we're not five years in the future.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're in 2025 and there's lots of joshi going on and lots of joshi to talk about.

[SPEAKER_01]: But before we talk about all that joshi, we got to talk about the plugs.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's right.

[SPEAKER_01]: Follow us on blue sky at J bomb audio one day will.

[SPEAKER_01]: What are blue sky messages called skits skits.

[SPEAKER_01]: One day will, uh, you know, excuse me over there.

[SPEAKER_01]: We'll do something and you'll want to be following us when that happens.

[SPEAKER_01]: Or you can follow Comic Geek Kelly.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's Kelly.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hello.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Tame Rainbow.

[SPEAKER_01]: Kelly does tweet.

[SPEAKER_01]: So, well, not tweet.

[SPEAKER_01]: I, I, I, I, I ski.

[SPEAKER_01]: Or ski.

[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't tweet anymore.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no tweeting.

[SPEAKER_01]: Just kidding.

[SPEAKER_01]: Subscribe to us on your podcast app of choice.

[SPEAKER_01]: And if that app of choice is Apple Podcasts, we would really appreciate a five star rating and review.

[SPEAKER_01]: And if you're feeling extra generous, you can donate to the show at redcircle.com slash show slash jumping dash bomb dash audio.

[SPEAKER_01]: So that's all the plugs.

[SPEAKER_01]: Let's head into the Joshi, the biggest Joshi show of the last two weeks.

[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, startups.

[SPEAKER_01]: September six show, start them to the world, some big title matches on this.

[SPEAKER_01]: Kelly, what did you think of the big, the big matches of start them to the world?

[SPEAKER_03]: I thought the big matches were pretty good.

[SPEAKER_03]: It felt like when start them was running too many shows, you know, and they were just like, what if we had a paper view every three weeks?

[SPEAKER_03]: and it's like, but half of the card you won't give a shit about and then the top card you'll like.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's kind of what it felt like to me.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, Kelly, you took the exact words out of my mouth, because I was watching this show going.

[SPEAKER_01]: This feels like a start-up show from years ago when it was like, well, we've booked the show.

[SPEAKER_01]: We got to do something.

[SPEAKER_01]: What should we do?

[SPEAKER_01]: Some good matches, but on my end, largely left thinking in two months, I will not remember anything about this show.

[SPEAKER_03]: No, I don't think so.

[SPEAKER_01]: So let's talk about the big matches.

[SPEAKER_01]: I guess this is a big match and we'll start with it and frankly, I've got a lot to say about this match, so we're going to talk about it.

[SPEAKER_01]: is a special singles match, not to contour the feeding.

[SPEAKER_01]: Mayumi Ozaki in 12 minutes and 43 seconds.

[SPEAKER_01]: How much did they pay Ozaki to look at the lights here?

[SPEAKER_03]: I really thought she was going to win.

[SPEAKER_03]: I thought she was just going to valiantly fight off all of hate and pick up the win and I would have loved that so much.

[SPEAKER_01]: to me, this match was so strange.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, strange is not the right word, but to me, okay, we're we're booking that tour is going to win.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, that's the final result.

[SPEAKER_01]: We have to go towards.

[SPEAKER_01]: I would think you would book, then what you would have to do is be like, [SPEAKER_01]: Ozaki is crafty, but Torah is even crafty, or that's how she wins, you know.

[SPEAKER_01]: She outheals Ozaki, but not in the way of like, oh, five people are coming in the ring and cheating.

[SPEAKER_01]: Also, very weird, why did none of Ozaki's people show up?

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, where was police?

[SPEAKER_03]: I was calling police the entire time I was watching this match.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, it doesn't make any, like, what is the k-fabe reason that Ozaki shows up with no one until I fully expected like, um, CRA to come out or something.

[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but my biggest issue is they [SPEAKER_01]: except the differences.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like the meow matches.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's what those matches were.

[SPEAKER_01]: It was Ozaki, you know, beating on meow, a plucky underdog.

[SPEAKER_01]: The differences.

[SPEAKER_01]: There was no blood here.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Ozaki got like sort of busted a little bit, but did she?

[SPEAKER_01]: Not like, not like bloody bloody, but there was a cut to our face late in the mansion.

[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, oh, you've gotten some, you know, oh, I didn't even notice that.

[SPEAKER_03]: I thought it was just like, missed.

[SPEAKER_03]: That was leftover or something.

[SPEAKER_01]: You got some like press marks on your head and the other thing is, if you're going to do the plucky baby face, you should be wrestling someone who has the charisma to [SPEAKER_01]: like do that.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: It was essentially Osaki wrestling a broom with hate showing up every three minutes.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, who's the dastardly heal here?

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's Momo Watanabe.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like coming in and using the bat, I'm like torrid and really do much of anything like this could have been anyone.

[SPEAKER_01]: In hate.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like I was just thinking about how awesome it would be to have Ozaki versus starlight kid.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like that man, that man should be incredible.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sort of like what, it all, I mean, it also was the thing of like, ah, you know, like, I think the goal was to be like Torah is on the same footing as Ozaki.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, no, Ozaki feels 10 million times bigger than Torah.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: in this match it's like ah this is what is being imitated this is what she wants to be and but she's very bad at it's she's wandering around with the you know ozaki with the chain all this all these things which by the way i also never understand that thing of like [SPEAKER_01]: I don't approve of using this chain, you know, dichis like, I won't count the pin if you've used the chain.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, so is the chain illegal?

[SPEAKER_01]: Is people running up?

[SPEAKER_01]: Also, I've really become fascinated by hate.

[SPEAKER_01]: I almost said a way to tie hates.

[SPEAKER_01]: Main distractionary tactics seems to be standing on the apron and having a long discussion.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, occasionally they throw a hug in there too.

[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm like, what could possibly be going on in that conversation that you're like, I can't focus on anything like, hey, what's going on with this?

[SPEAKER_01]: Any sane human being who's like, my job is to be a referee.

[SPEAKER_01]: would say, hey, buzz off, I have to focus on this match.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Right now, like, get off the apron.

[SPEAKER_03]: We'll discuss foreign policy later.

[SPEAKER_01]: They're just so long conversations.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, what could possibly distract a human being who has a job?

[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like, you know, they're like, I don't really know what a referee does.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, you are a referee.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you have to be looking at what's happening in the ring.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like, thank you.

[SPEAKER_03]: You watched the Stuart little movies.

[SPEAKER_03]: Do you choose to watch them with sub or dub?

[SPEAKER_01]: I know this is like a general wrestling argument, but it seems worse when it's just standing around and talking is the distraction as opposed to like, oh, something's happening over here.

[SPEAKER_03]: What happens for so long and so often?

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: So, um, a match I did not really enjoy.

[SPEAKER_03]: Now, I thought it was Oki did her best, but like, yeah, you're just fighting a broom with friends and then losing to the broom.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, but also like Ozaki, like part of those matches is the blood sort of visit distraction of like, okay, these are not the greatest worked matches.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, but they're blood and you it's a lot about the intangibles, and then when you sort of do the match with no intangibles in it, it's like, well, okay, like you couldn't even you have Ozaki win here and then challenge Sia for a title match like that would be cool.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, maybe they'll do Ozaki and police versus Torah and mobile up to nothing.

[SPEAKER_03]: That sounds awesome.

[SPEAKER_03]: Let's do that.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm also like, you know, Momo wins the five star and here she is, like, dunking around.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm the, I'm the one B of this group, you know, helping out my boss.

[SPEAKER_03]: Who inexplicably is still Taurus somehow.

[SPEAKER_01]: And also the person who in your last big match was like, I don't want any interference.

[SPEAKER_01]: I want to win clean.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then it's like, oh, but I'll do it for everyone else.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, well.

[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway.

[SPEAKER_01]: That was the last match before Intermission.

[SPEAKER_01]: We came back from Intermission to the IWGP women's title match, said, re defeating Susu Suzuki in 22 minutes and 33 seconds.

[SPEAKER_01]: They hit each other very hard in this match.

[SPEAKER_03]: They really did.

[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, enjoyed it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Again, this was sort of the beginning of my feeling of dim thanks to you who had any chance to win.

[SPEAKER_01]: No at all.

[SPEAKER_01]: Um, which is sort of the feeling of those old startup shows where it's like, well, these matches are good.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't believe the title's going to change in any world.

[SPEAKER_01]: So it puts a cap on, but I probably would go like four and a quarter stars.

[SPEAKER_01]: I still thought it was very good, thought they really went out and went for it.

[SPEAKER_01]: But I think held back by the feeling of, oh, these matches don't really matter.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's exactly where I was, too.

[SPEAKER_03]: I went four and a quarter as well.

[SPEAKER_03]: You know, maybe Susan should have wrestled his ackey.

[SPEAKER_03]: That would have been good.

[SPEAKER_03]: But this this was pretty good on its own.

[SPEAKER_03]: Just beat the shit out of each other.

[SPEAKER_03]: I thought it dragged a little bit and like the last third, but These two have really good chemistry together, and I would kind of like to see them as a tag team at some point.

[SPEAKER_03]: I think that would be fun.

[SPEAKER_01]: The semi main of the show was Starlight Kid defeating Tomica Inaba in 21 minutes and 15 seconds for the wonder of Stardom title.

[SPEAKER_01]: Another match I thought was solid.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think I was a little bit lower than consensus.

[SPEAKER_01]: I went four stars again a match hurt by I did not think Inaba was winning the title.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now, um, but I thought a very solid match if it didn't, you know, [SPEAKER_01]: Blow me away like I thought it might have.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I liked it a little bit more than you.

[SPEAKER_03]: I went for an accordor on this one too Good technical match and I thought a Nabba worked hard here in the biggest spot.

[SPEAKER_03]: Is she Start-um contracted now or is she still just tap out?

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think there was any announcement unless I missed it.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't recall they're being either, so I was curious about that [SPEAKER_01]: Let me see what does I mean cage match has her still is just step out.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, that makes sense and her X handle is PWJTO T oh there you go [SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, I guess that doesn't mean can you still change your ex handle or is that like, I couldn't you probably have to pay like $14 for it or something.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I guess that'd probably prove anything, but I mean, I think it's also one of those like just tap out thing where it's not like just tap out with his like, please give us our wrestlers back for them.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and shows were running.

[SPEAKER_03]: They're like, just slap a label like a logo of ours on the wall somewhere in the venue and that's fine.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I'm sure I could, you know, it could change at some point in time.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, you have to assume at some point.

[SPEAKER_03]: They're going to just sign both the sisters.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then the main event was the world of stardom title man, Sia Kamatani retaining her title against be priestly in 22 minutes and 34 seconds.

[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't hate this one, but I just thought it was sort of an average like three and a half star.

[SPEAKER_01]: match.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I thought they worked hard.

[SPEAKER_03]: They took some kind of wild bumps like be actually wrestled well and wasn't boring.

[SPEAKER_03]: So you know what, I enjoyed it for the most part.

[SPEAKER_03]: I went three and three quarters.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think it was great, but I wouldn't say it was anywhere near as bad as her previous like tournament matches.

[SPEAKER_01]: Then, Stardom also had a cork and haul show on September 10th, had a couple of title matches on that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Heenah defeating Yuri Himei to retain the future of Stardom title, Kogama, actually, [SPEAKER_01]: uh...

i believe winning the cml japan women's title after uh...

dark saluda got injured in their match after less than five minutes it was very strange uh...

kogama hit a ddt on the apron [SPEAKER_01]: and then there was a long awkward pause and it was clear she was injured and then they called the match.

[SPEAKER_01]: Was a bit odd, but I think it's an injured shoulder or arm injury of some sort.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, if you watch back the spot, she immediately goes to her arm after they do the DDT.

[SPEAKER_03]: I think she just landed on it weird.

[SPEAKER_01]: So not much, [SPEAKER_01]: you can really do about that.

[SPEAKER_01]: I will say this show did have English commentary.

[SPEAKER_01]: It has English commentary on the start of the world, which I did give a listen to is Walker Stewart, who is sort of new to me as I don't watch New Japan much anymore.

[SPEAKER_01]: So that was interesting.

[SPEAKER_01]: I know they also have English commentary on their cork and haul show at the end of the month.

[SPEAKER_01]: uh, which should also be on the start of the world, uh, the high speed title match may see her and unemisa Mori went to a time limit draw after 10 minutes.

[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, this one was fine.

[SPEAKER_01]: thought they had some fun spots didn't blow me away.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, with 10 minute, a time limit draw sort of hard to really get into it, but I thought it was fine.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then the artist of Stardom, title match, the hate trio of Fookigandath, Konami, and Rina defeating the Neo Genesis champions, former champions of Azumi, Miw Amisaki, and Starlight Kid in exactly, [SPEAKER_01]: 20 minutes to win the title.

[SPEAKER_01]: I thought this one was fun.

[SPEAKER_01]: Had Fookie Gandalf pulling out some moves.

[SPEAKER_01]: We don't see a lot.

[SPEAKER_01]: Didn't blow away would probably go probably three and three quarters, maybe four stars thought it sort of did that classic Stardom style pick up near the end Which made it fun, but nothing blow away on this cork and an easy watch, but nothing vital to see In Marigold the dream star Grand Prix has come to an end [SPEAKER_01]: After the finals, Kelly want to talk about the finals of the DreamStar Grand Prix.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I can do that.

[SPEAKER_03]: So I only watched the final match.

[SPEAKER_03]: I message Taylor last night.

[SPEAKER_03]: As like Taylor, the finals are happening right now and so far there have been three draws.

[SPEAKER_03]: uh...

the finals ended up being me koeono defeating victoria usuki in a pretty solid match i think i would go probably three and a half on it i liked it well enough both women seemed tired going into the match and that's probably because they both wrestled time limit draws in their final block matches earlier in the show uh...

so yeah they both went to draws to make it to the finals which [SPEAKER_03]: not great because clearly you can't have a ono beat my soccer i and use you can't beat my you so they got to go to the finals uh what else happened i think there was a there was also a count out victory on that show too so just great booking from the hat man [SPEAKER_01]: I will say I think attendance was like over 1,200 people.

[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, it was a full house and really as far as booking goes the right person one, like I don't know is definitely the person that should be getting a big win like that.

[SPEAKER_03]: So they didn't fuck it up in that way, but Hat man gonna hat man.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they certainly need to start making some of these non-start them.

[SPEAKER_01]: jump jump jumpers into stars because really you take out Utami and Mayu and have they made anyone else into a I mean Victoria is also a starting person technically yeah but it's good Miku it feels like they've sort of [SPEAKER_01]: pushed and then unpushed her a couple times where it was like oh we're definitely behind her and then it's like well we need to work on someone else and she sort of disappears so hopefully this will be a you know frankly if it were me if I were booking utami would lose the title because I think so too there's no point and like she's gonna draw without the title and you've got to try someone else [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you put the, because I think the, I don't know who Tommy match is going to be in Sumo Hall.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like, yeah, that's the time.

[SPEAKER_03]: Make the title switch.

[SPEAKER_03]: Hopefully you make a star out of a on all.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and we'll see what happens.

[SPEAKER_03]: Time limit draw.

[SPEAKER_01]: please God.

[SPEAKER_01]: In Tokyo, Joshi, not a lot of show news going on, but some big news.

[SPEAKER_01]: Harunanaka will be retiring.

[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, had that injury came back and got injured pretty soon after that.

[SPEAKER_01]: So I think with the injuries piling up, [SPEAKER_01]: deciding to call it a career a little bit, you know, not, uh, I would say any major part of Tokyo Joshi, but still a little bit sad.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like she was never going to be anything higher than she was, but like, I don't know, it was fun seeing Haraneko.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's she has the Tokyo Joshi undercard wrestler charm.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and it's really sort of the last, you know, obviously, like me and Choco were there have been, you know, since the beginning.

[SPEAKER_01]: But really feels like that last vestige of, oh, this person is just going to be a mid-carter, like character for you to like.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you could say, okay, you still have palm, but palm is from a different generation.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like is a later generation.

[SPEAKER_01]: So Nico feels like the last of the sort of OG.

[SPEAKER_01]: Tokyo, Yoshi characters.

[SPEAKER_01]: And again, like you said, was never going to or seemingly was never probably going to rise up the card in the way some other people have, but [SPEAKER_01]: that part of the company is now fully like in the rear view.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: So happy trails.

[SPEAKER_01]: And of course, you know, I think staying healthy is important and it's for sure.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you'd hate to come back and might get injured again and you're just like, oh God, now I'm like [SPEAKER_01]: uh...

what else has been going on dianna had a few shows uh...

haruka umasaki successfully defending the dianna world title against kumu and sion sion i do do you know who either of those people are because i don't nope okay kumu does not have a cage match profile uh...

so and sion is twenty years old from tywan uh...

of course [SPEAKER_01]: And then the world, uh, Diana Tag Team titles, Ayakosato and Debbie Kaitel successfully defending against Miran and Risa Serra.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then on the 14th Miran winning, the crystal title from Mizuki Kato.

[SPEAKER_01]: So that happened there in Wave.

[SPEAKER_01]: uh...

on the seventh micahozaki and tyhanma successfully defending their wave tag team titles against renaimakura and yuko soccer i and then kelly we had a big choco pro match up in her dead two weeks [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, on the fifth they ran their show game changer, which had a super Asia title match and saw Rina Yamashita defeat Mesa Ruga win the title.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's just after May passed the year mark as champion.

[SPEAKER_03]: So this was pretty surprising.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like I kind of thought May was just going to like have the belt forever.

[SPEAKER_03]: You know, but Arena came in and won and I thought this match was awesome.

[SPEAKER_03]: Just a great end to May's run.

[SPEAKER_03]: You saw in the match.

[SPEAKER_03]: She kind of got cocky and I think that costier eventually and Arena, you know, she's just too big and strong for May to take down.

[SPEAKER_03]: So I really enjoyed this.

[SPEAKER_03]: I went for an a quarter.

[SPEAKER_03]: Taylor, you watch this, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: I watched it as well.

[SPEAKER_01]: I really liked it.

[SPEAKER_01]: I went for it in a half.

[SPEAKER_01]: I really liked the finish that there was a lot of They were sort of going for these roll-up style, you know, roll-up pins, sort of reversals, things like that and that the thing that ended it was Yamashita hitting the big power bomb like it was like they no one had hit a big move in a bit [SPEAKER_01]: where they were sort of like, oh, I'll do a pin, trying to get leverage, whatever.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then all of a sudden, it was like, no, here's a big move, and I was like, oh, that stuck out.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then, of course, was the finish.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, oh, that's cool.

[SPEAKER_01]: It really makes sense that they were going on trying to get these flash pins, just sneak out of victory.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then it's like, no, I'm able to hit a big move, and that's going to, [SPEAKER_01]: helped me win.

[SPEAKER_01]: I just thought it was great, great action.

[SPEAKER_01]: The crowd was really into it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Aki was essentially part of the crowd, part of the part of it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like there were times on commentary where he just stopped commentating and was just like yelling along with the crowd.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: So thought it was really exciting.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's very interesting that may lost.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think at this [SPEAKER_01]: You know, it will be good to have her chase, have her do something else, you know, I guess you could keep winning and winning, but then you're just like, okay, we just sort of don't have anything.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like you just get to the point where it's more like, oh, you just don't really have any plans more than yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, oh, it's so good.

[SPEAKER_03]: Which even this is really feels like a switch for Choco Pro is kind of happening again, where the booking for a while sucked, like it started great initially during the pandemic stuff.

[SPEAKER_03]: And then I think Sochara stepped back and talking to us, she stepped up and he is not a great booker.

[SPEAKER_03]: And now he, unfortunately, had to step back due to injury.

[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm assuming that Sakura has kind of stepped back in his booker.

[SPEAKER_03]: And like I think the booking of this match was perfect.

[SPEAKER_03]: And then after the match, they ran angles.

[SPEAKER_03]: So you had a challenger match set up between two wrestlers to determine a future title challenger and Antonio Honda stepped up as the next challenger.

[SPEAKER_03]: So it's like, okay.

[SPEAKER_03]: We come out of this show, having a plan, and a roadmap of like, all right, this is who Reno's going to be facing from here on, which is not something we've had in Choco Pro in quite some time, it feels like.

[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm very excited about the future of Choco Pro at the moment.

[SPEAKER_03]: I thought this was a good show, and I think Yamashita is a great choice to run as champion.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I will say I hadn't watched Choco Pro in a bit, and I unrelated to anything in Ringwise.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I guess it's a little bit related.

[SPEAKER_01]: But I really liked, you know, the camera work I thought was very good.

[SPEAKER_01]: It was a nice camera.

[SPEAKER_01]: They had the logo on the screen.

[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, oh, this is like a nice presentation, you know, and being [SPEAKER_01]: you know, not in their usual setting for the bigger show.

[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, oh, this is this is pretty good.

[SPEAKER_03]: They do good production on their non.

[SPEAKER_03]: dentist office shows.

[SPEAKER_03]: But they usually do take like a week or so to go up because I think they do a good amount of editing and stuff in post.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and it shows it.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's a great looking product.

[SPEAKER_03]: So it like if you just follow charcoal pro with the big shows, I think that's probably the best way to watch it at the moment.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that is everything that has happened in the last two weeks of Yoshi, but what is happening coming up.

[SPEAKER_01]: Start him has a number of smaller house shows until they have their corrican hall show on September 22, the big match for that one, a double.

[SPEAKER_01]: title match, Sia Kamatani versus Azumi for both the world of starred in title and the strong title.

[SPEAKER_01]: Kelly, do you think this is the end?

[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think this is the death of the strong title?

[SPEAKER_03]: Entirely possible.

[SPEAKER_03]: I think honestly, I think it's equally possible that it just goes to a tablet draw or something.

[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't know, like, what is the point of, do they run, New Japan strong shows anymore?

[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, that's a good question that I don't know the answer to.

[SPEAKER_03]: I haven't heard about one in quite a while.

[SPEAKER_03]: I know, uh, I think issues the men's strong champion.

[SPEAKER_01]: It seems like if anything you would want to like merge the strong title with the IWGP title or something.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because they feel very similar, but it feels like having it be a double title match.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's no world in which a zooming wins.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, and I think just doing a time limit draw is like, whoa, okay, well, nothing happened.

[SPEAKER_01]: It it it feels much less to me like a time limit draw if this was Rossy booking.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'd be like it's 1,000% Yeah, the time limit draw.

[SPEAKER_01]: It feels like this version of stardom is not the version that's like we're putting something up and then Not delivering in a way Like it feels like if they're like, hey, there's two titles like someone is getting two titles [SPEAKER_01]: It just feels more like not in that Rossi world of like, hey, I'm pulling you in with two titles.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's a time limit draw, didn't matter.

[SPEAKER_01]: So, and I think if you're, you know, Kamatani getting a big push, you're like, well, what's one way to get a big push beyond winning titles?

[SPEAKER_01]: Another belt is winning, you know, winning title matches, I should say is winning another belt.

[SPEAKER_01]: So, seedling has a show on September 19, not too much exciting personally on that show for me.

[SPEAKER_01]: One of the big shows of the next two weeks, of course, is Tokyo Joshi's Wrestle Princess Six, happening.

[SPEAKER_01]: The card is as follows.

[SPEAKER_01]: and the returning Mesa Ruga.

[SPEAKER_01]: So that should be a fun match.

[SPEAKER_01]: The Iron Man heavy metal weight title will be defended in a staggered entry battle royal.

[SPEAKER_01]: Pokedon the current champion will face [SPEAKER_01]: Mahiro Kiri Yoshino Suzuki, Mifuishita Kira-sama and Shiken Nase, in that Ajakong will take on Himawari, Rikate Tsumi will take on the returning, Priscilla Kelly, Haroyo Matsumoto and Yuki [SPEAKER_01]: Miyu Yamashita and Kaya Torabami will face off against Rio Mizunami and Yuki Ayano, and then three title matches the International Princess title currently vacant will be decided between Arisa Endo and Jada Stone.

[SPEAKER_01]: The Princess Tag Team titles will be the Champion Shoko Nakajima and Hyper Masao taking on.

[SPEAKER_01]: the over-eats team of Yuki Kamifuku and Wakana Uihara, and the princess of princess title match will be the champion Mizuki, defending against Miyu Watanabe, the winner of the princess cup.

[SPEAKER_01]: Kelly your thoughts on this card.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm really excited for the show.

[SPEAKER_03]: I like this card quite a bit.

[SPEAKER_03]: It'll be fun to see May and Uda team again.

[SPEAKER_03]: They were very fun.

[SPEAKER_03]: Did they wrestle against each other the last time?

[SPEAKER_03]: I think they wrestled each other last time, and it felt like they should be a team instantly.

[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm glad to see them together here.

[SPEAKER_03]: Ajda Con versus Himoari should be fun.

[SPEAKER_03]: Ajda Con typically works way harder than she needs to in matches in Tokyo, Yoshi.

[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm looking forward to that.

[SPEAKER_03]: I have not seen Priscilla Kelly wrestle in quite some time, so I don't know if she's watched or not, so we'll see how that goes.

[SPEAKER_03]: Awesome to have Mizunami and Yuki Aiano teaming again.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's really cool, and I'm pretty sure they're probably going to win that match.

[SPEAKER_03]: uh...

endos definitely winning the international title like that it's very clear that that's what the plan was before mocha got hurt so we'll see i think that match will be very good but it's one of those words very obvious who's winning tag title match i'm not sure i'm thinking the champs retain but it's could see it going either way and the main event i'm really hoping me who wins [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the last Priscilla Kelly match I saw.

[SPEAKER_01]: I believe was that thunder wrote that NWA thunder Rosa match.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I think was five years ago at this point.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, yes, I think that's the same for me, which is hard to believe.

[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see.

[SPEAKER_01]: maybe she sticks around and does some things that would be fun out of a new environment for her to be in.

[SPEAKER_01]: Happy to have, you know, I'm not crazy about the Iron Man heavy metal weight.

[SPEAKER_01]: battle royals, but I have to say I'm not all that mad that we're not instead getting like an eight person tag, which yeah, I'm fine with it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, how did Poketon get the title?

[SPEAKER_01]: I have no idea.

[SPEAKER_01]: Do we have any idea?

[SPEAKER_01]: I have no clue.

[SPEAKER_01]: Could you guess I'm I'm looking it up on cage match um Because that that uh That TV person let's change no that I don't yeah, yeah, that's right.

[SPEAKER_01]: Ironman heavy metal weight.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Pokedon doesn't have a Okay So oh It appears that Immediately after that cork and haul show [SPEAKER_01]: Pokoton want it somehow.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, because it says that jury sues sues.

[SPEAKER_01]: We had the title for less than one day after that Corrigan home show.

[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_03]: So maybe he attacked her on like a TV show or something.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe now I'm like, [SPEAKER_01]: how I'm investigating.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure some DDT fan knows.

[SPEAKER_01]: What if I just type in Pokedon into X?

[SPEAKER_01]: What happens?

[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like you'll just get a bunch of videos with Pokedon doing stuff.

[SPEAKER_01]: Nope.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, no.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of people talking about things that I think aren't related.

[SPEAKER_01]: Nope.

[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't give me anything.

[SPEAKER_01]: Ironman.

[SPEAKER_01]: Pokoton.

[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, this is really.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, no.

[SPEAKER_01]: And you're looking at it.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm looking something else up.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: Ram Kai Chow get added to this match, too.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.

[SPEAKER_03]: So Raku will have to fight her wife.

[SPEAKER_01]: All right, not clear.

[SPEAKER_01]: Not clear what happened, but [SPEAKER_01]: I guess that's neither here nor there.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think the international princess title match is interesting.

[SPEAKER_01]: It feels like a match they've now run four times this year, even though I know that's not the case.

[SPEAKER_01]: And they were all good.

[SPEAKER_01]: I like them, so I'm like, oh fine, but it just seems like a very, and good for Jada who has done commentary.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure may hop back on commentary on the show because I know it is Mr.

Haku and Aki, but they also promised, [SPEAKER_01]: Special guest, so I'm sure Kira Summer will be on, maybe Jay to Stone for the main events, maybe Kamifuku for the very main event.

[SPEAKER_01]: See what happens with Missouki, me want to not be, we'll see if me wins it again, I think the good thing is it will be a great match.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we'll have a good champion, no matter who wins.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that is nice.

[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm like, oh, with Mizuki wins, like it'll be like, oh, disappointing for me, but happy to have Mizuki keep the title.

[SPEAKER_01]: Interesting to see who D-thrones, Shoko and Masao.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it'll be Yuki and Wakana.

[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, maybe it will be Mizunami and I know that would mean I again.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think the end story is Daisy monkey coming back and winning the titles.

[SPEAKER_01]: But and if endos going to win the international princess title, then I don't think you're doing that for a while.

[SPEAKER_03]: No, at least yeah, not for a while.

[SPEAKER_03]: So I think that would be good to put it on Mizunami and I know then to kill time.

[SPEAKER_01]: But I think that's the final part of the story of, like, Endo can't win the big match and now.

[SPEAKER_01]: here she wins it.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because I think she is going to win the big match.

[SPEAKER_03]: Just go.

[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so should be a fun show.

[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and we'll be talking about it next time.

[SPEAKER_01]: Another big show a show simply called big show.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's how you know it's a big show.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's a big show.

[SPEAKER_01]: They're telling you it's a big show for Sendai girls.

[SPEAKER_01]: Um, four matches announced [SPEAKER_01]: FWC, Hazuki, and Kogama will take on Mi-O-Momino and Yureka-Oka.

[SPEAKER_01]: That sounds for the Sendai Girl's tag titles.

[SPEAKER_01]: That sounds like a very fun match.

[SPEAKER_01]: Rion will face Yuna for the Sendai Girl's Junior title.

[SPEAKER_01]: Sayuri will face Minami, and Mika-Iwato will challenge to Hero Hashimoto for the Sendai Girl's World title.

[SPEAKER_01]: I have to say, [SPEAKER_01]: One of the upsides of the retirement of you will be getting more to hear those singles matches.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because I feel like we don't get that many.

[SPEAKER_01]: I know that a lot of times she's the champion, but she's so good in singles matches that I want more singles matches and it feels often like she's main eventing new shows and tags.

[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll be happy for that.

[SPEAKER_01]: But another really fun show.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure they'll fill it out with another two or three matches.

[SPEAKER_01]: And great that it will be on Russell Universe.

[SPEAKER_01]: A good week for Russell Universe and Josie.

[SPEAKER_01]: Two big shows to watch what else is happening and wave on the 15th of September.

[SPEAKER_01]: Kohaku will defend the Regina de Wave title against Rina Amacura, and that is everything happening in the world of Joshee in the next two weeks.

[SPEAKER_01]: So Kelly, I throw it to you for Kelly's corner.

[SPEAKER_03]: And you know what I'm going to do?

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to throw it back to you because I need to hear about the movie that my friend Taylor went to go say last night.

[SPEAKER_01]: So I went to see a movie in the movie started at 9.15 p.m.

[SPEAKER_03]: And it's already so late.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, and then it didn't start to like 9.30.

[SPEAKER_01]: They were late and started the movie.

[SPEAKER_01]: And it was five hours long.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, God.

[SPEAKER_01]: And they did a Q&A afterwards.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, what the fuck?

[SPEAKER_01]: What movie was this?

[SPEAKER_01]: They got up before.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we're like, of course, that classic 2.30 a.m.

[SPEAKER_01]: Q&A that everyone loves.

[SPEAKER_01]: So it's actually a part two of a film called Castration by a transphobic maker named Louise Ward.

[SPEAKER_01]: Part one came out last year.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's actually available online to buy Castration Part one.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's on one of those like name your price.

[SPEAKER_01]: sites and it's payment in Canadian dollars, so for American people, you can pay and then also save a little money with the exchange rate.

[SPEAKER_03]: How long was the first movie?

[SPEAKER_01]: The first one was four hours and 34 minutes.

[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus Christ.

[SPEAKER_01]: I would say that they are very, how am I explaining these films?

[SPEAKER_01]: um, they're very low-fi.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's number one.

[SPEAKER_01]: They're shot very quickly.

[SPEAKER_01]: They did the Q&A last night, and I think they filmed part two in like one week.

[SPEAKER_01]: Holy shit.

[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you know, it's like everything is one take, and it's very like go, go, go, go, and then they're done.

[SPEAKER_01]: There are films about transgender people.

[SPEAKER_01]: They are often very, I don't even know what word to use to describe.

[SPEAKER_01]: They're scandalous in many ways.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think the the second one I came out and I had a friend ask me what I thought and I said the second one is like a combination between have you ever seen after hours by Martin Scorsese?

[SPEAKER_03]: Ah, I actually know I haven't.

[SPEAKER_03]: I have that in my pile of blue rays I need to watch.

[SPEAKER_01]: I said it was like a combination of unbreakable kimishmit after hours by Martin Scorsese and the Texas chainsaw massacre.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.

[SPEAKER_01]: Very interesting, very interesting because the first one I watched on my own, very interesting to see in a theater, the second one.

[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're someone who likes long movies and sort of interesting, low-fi art, [SPEAKER_01]: type films, uh, recommend it and also with the name your own price.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think like the recommended price is five Canadian dollars or something.

[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, so for four and a half hours of movie, it's pretty cheap.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we're else to get in like an hour of movie or an hour of dollar hour of dollar of a film.

[SPEAKER_01]: Um, or you can pay a little bit more [SPEAKER_01]: Support our donate to uh redcircle.com slash the show stuff, dumping dash bomb dash audio.

[SPEAKER_01]: I thought I was doing uh last night, so I just slept in very late today um so that I'd be ready for this wonderful podcast.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm already like an old person that I'd like you tell me seeing a movie at 9 o'clock and I'm like, ah, fuck, I don't want to do that.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's so late.

[SPEAKER_03]: And then it's like, oh, right.

[SPEAKER_03]: But now it, but it's five hours.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like, and absolutely not.

[SPEAKER_01]: So that is, I guess Taylor's corner for the, for the week.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: A little twist.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, just like you said at the beginning of the episode, Kelly, it all comes around.

[SPEAKER_03]: It all comes around.

[SPEAKER_01]: I did Kelly's corner.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm Kelly and I did Kelly's corner.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that is all for us for this episode of jumping bomb audio, but we will talk to you next time until then.

[SPEAKER_01]: Be well.

[SPEAKER_03]: Bye, everybody.
