[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome everyone to S.I.

[SPEAKER_01]: Media with a Jimmy Trayner.

[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much for listening.

[SPEAKER_01]: Got a regular who is always an eight plus guest.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, different.

[SPEAKER_01]: Kyle Brandt from Good Morning Football is the main guest on this week's show.

[SPEAKER_01]: We covered a million topics.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even want to begin to start naming them all, but we did a bunch on media, NFL media, what's going on with Kyle, bunch on the NFL, bunch on pop culture.

[SPEAKER_01]: So if you just need a nice, easy, breezy listen, I strongly recommend you stick around for Kyle and then follow in Kyle, train a thoughts with Salacata, get a YouTube TV update from Sal and how he's handling that with the blackout.

[SPEAKER_01]: and much more.

[SPEAKER_01]: Before we get to it, first let me just say this.

[SPEAKER_01]: We had an old mailbag last week.

[SPEAKER_01]: I told you guys, my dad was in the hospital.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's good.

[SPEAKER_01]: Everything's good and I thank you all who reached out.

[SPEAKER_01]: A ton of you have reached out via Twitter, Instagram, emails.

[SPEAKER_01]: So thank you so much for that.

[SPEAKER_01]: I do appreciate it and all good is there.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, last week was an old mailbag edition.

[SPEAKER_01]: I answered your questions the week before that.

[SPEAKER_01]: We had Brian Curtis from the ringer on the [SPEAKER_01]: Greg Olsen from Fox was on the pod this in recent weeks as well as Chris Maddog Russo.

[SPEAKER_01]: So if you missed any of those episodes, Brian Curtis, Greg Olsen, Chris Maddog Russo, check those out and also make sure you subscribe to the pod as well.

[SPEAKER_01]: I would love it if you left a review on Apple.

[SPEAKER_01]: All right, let's get to it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Kyle Brandt from Good Morning football followed by Salacata in train of thoughts.

[SPEAKER_01]: All right, here, right now.

[SPEAKER_01]: All right, joining me now is annual visit to the Sportsholstery did media podcast always a good time.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have to do too much prep, which I like when Kyle brand from Good Morning football joins the show.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's up Kyle.

[SPEAKER_03]: Jimmy, can we talk about heel turns per second?

[SPEAKER_03]: Show what I tell you.

[SPEAKER_03]: When I think when I think heel turns, I think [SPEAKER_03]: Hulk Hogan, bash at the beach, right?

[SPEAKER_03]: I think John Cena, the recent one, and I think Jimmy Tray and a turning on the great Gus Johnson for his call in the greatest moment, and you just put the black hat on, and you're a turnout, you're the evil guy, and now you're the heel, how does it feel?

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I was expecting to be the heel, and then what I got was like 98% of the people responding to me agreeing with me.

[SPEAKER_01]: So it was a fake heel turn after all.

[SPEAKER_01]: I've said this many times and no one ever wants to hear me complain about my job, but there is a needle that needs to be threaded doing what I do because I have to write this column every day where I know that if I am negative, that's usually what sells which I hate.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then I have to book this podcast on my own.

[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, okay, I can write this about [SPEAKER_01]: I've loved Gus over the years so much.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's become unlicinable.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's like, that's just how I feel.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, wait, always are just in that particular moment.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he's really bad now.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_01]: He gets, he gets, I don't mind the screaming although with him, it's incessant.

[SPEAKER_01]: You have to pick your spots with it.

[SPEAKER_01]: he gets so many things wrong during a game.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's crazy.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's really bad.

[SPEAKER_03]: So leave Gus alone.

[SPEAKER_03]: Jimmy, this is fascinating for me, though, because I know what you're saying.

[SPEAKER_03]: You're like, I don't, you don't want to write the negative stuff, but let's get clicked on and what's amusing to me.

[SPEAKER_03]: is because you are a friend of mine, I know you're negative stuff that you don't go with, like, I know things that you feel about people in media that are very negative and that I actually agree with, but that I'm like, why don't you put that in your post then and you're like, I still want to deal with the shit I have to go through if I do it.

[SPEAKER_01]: That one, but see that was one where I was watching the game and was so annoyed by him ruining the game that I couldn't help it.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's all subjective, obviously, but my, I have one simple rule that starts with whether I like you or not.

[SPEAKER_01]: Don't annoy me.

[SPEAKER_03]: don't be annoying during the game yeah that was ridiculous what happened on Saturday so we've talked about this a lot i might i don't have a good palette for the in-game announcers meaning it's just not very sensitive i turn it on i'm not paying attention to the announcers that much i you know i really want a lot of people's probably most of the people are so opinionated whoever it is or bark or cons worth at all like [SPEAKER_03]: part of it as I just am not paying attention very much to what they're saying, respectfully, I'm watching the game, and then also like I hate to play this card, but I have done it a little bit, and I know how bleeping, difficult it is, and so I think I have a way bigger margin of error than just someone at home who's a regular sportsman, who gets so mad about someone how they handle a statistic or a replay.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's the thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: I usually will never criticize someone if they get a name wrong, if they like that stuff is going to happen where I get annoyed is one when you're lost at the end of the game and you don't know what you talk about it with like two minute warning timeouts game management that to me is the biggest problem with a lot of announcers and when you don't criticize the refs or player who makes a bonehead play that this is me up.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's why choice the best because Troy will do it and now [SPEAKER_01]: And there's also a difference between you've done in a handful of times where it's Gus has been doing this for 50 years.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like that call was just you just can't be happy that that's on your resume.

[SPEAKER_01]: But so wait, I was actually going to ask you this.

[SPEAKER_01]: It was like on my topic list.

[SPEAKER_01]: Would you do you?

[SPEAKER_01]: Like there's all these, you know, outlets now adding games.

[SPEAKER_01]: Again, I felt that work.

[SPEAKER_01]: They switched their answers all the time for the international games.

[SPEAKER_01]: Netflix has games.

[SPEAKER_01]: Would you want to do a game?

[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I wouldn't do play by play.

[SPEAKER_03]: I've, you know, this is a very short long story.

[SPEAKER_03]: Very short.

[SPEAKER_03]: I did a couple of play by play games for the Bears, like years ago.

[SPEAKER_03]: And it was preseason games, preseason play to play.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I don't think that's my natural fit.

[SPEAKER_03]: If they, if they, someone wanted me in a booth at some point, I'd be incredibly flattered to be a third voice or something like that.

[SPEAKER_03]: Someone who can, [SPEAKER_03]: All right, well you said the action and now you said today through against the cover two and now what would be the fan response to what this player did after the play when he got the flag like that's where I live and so if someone wanted a voice of the fan or voice of an every man like that's really where I go so of course I'd be hugely flattered to be one of those booths people will cut off their arm to be one of those booths absolutely and I would actually love so weird I just looked up and I show you my TV doing angry around I would actually love [SPEAKER_01]: For I mean, I'm usually opposed with three person booth.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: But I do think if that third person is not an X player and in someone like you as a voice of the fan, I would love that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like I didn't go.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, here's the thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: take the game that happened in wherever it was.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, London, France, Germany.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't wish on Sunday, on Sunday, the Colts and the Falcons.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that was Germany.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, when they had to redo the coin toss.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's where someone like you, I think, would be perfect to come in and be like, because no one really wants to say anything negative, but really, [SPEAKER_01]: How do you screw up a coin to us is really the comment Jimmy here.

[SPEAKER_03]: There's a through line with you and and when I say you I mean just people like you who just loves sports You you you got to hear some negativity at some point because if you're not hearing negativity Right, it's just my topic.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's not real.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's not real conversation You like and I respect like last night's game.

[SPEAKER_03]: We're doing this on Tuesday.

[SPEAKER_03]: It was 10 to seven [SPEAKER_03]: Eagles over Packers.

[SPEAKER_03]: It was boring.

[SPEAKER_03]: It was sloppy.

[SPEAKER_03]: It was bad and you kind of want someone at the end of the third quarter to be like, well, this game sucks.

[SPEAKER_03]: Can somebody do something and Ackman is one of the only people who would do that.

[SPEAKER_01]: And out.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'll remember.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, when Thursday night was so bad.

[SPEAKER_01]: We get to week and I'll just was ready to vomit on the air was so great.

[SPEAKER_01]: But that you also have to be in that aisle.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't give a fuck stage of your life.

[SPEAKER_03]: I know, because there's so few people who are above the law and I consider aching like that, where it's like, you can go on a monologue about the taboo's.

[SPEAKER_03]: You can talk officiating.

[SPEAKER_03]: You can talk, I don't know, like injuries, the blue tent, whatever you want, all of those things, and you can be hugely critical and no one's gonna be like, [SPEAKER_03]: Troy, we're going to sit you down for a week, you know, and there's just not going to happen.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's too pedigrated, he's too tenured, he's too good.

[SPEAKER_03]: And there's only a few people, most of those people, like the regular rank and file, Ham and Eger, I do color commentary for this network.

[SPEAKER_03]: And this crew, I think that if there is a negative monologue, something that gets the leagues attention, I think they're given a sit down.

[SPEAKER_03]: I think they're like, you know, like, let's try to spin it in a different way, whereas there's just a few guys who are like, I'm not, I spin it my own way.

[SPEAKER_03]: And if you want to fire me, find [SPEAKER_01]: But it also, I don't want it to come off as like it has to be always something negative.

[SPEAKER_01]: I just want the truth.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like for instance, last night when the Eagles didn't pun on the fourth down.

[SPEAKER_01]: Right.

[SPEAKER_01]: You'd have some analysts being like, well, you know, maybe Nick Seriani is trying to do this or like, you know, the mindset here could be, no, come out and say this is absurd.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I have no idea what he's thinking.

[SPEAKER_01]: Very few will do that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Troy does it, which is.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he did it.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's not.

[SPEAKER_01]: Thank God for him.

[SPEAKER_01]: Um, all right.

[SPEAKER_01]: This is where I want to sort of something.

[SPEAKER_01]: just because this is like the biggest topic, and I run a little risk here because we're taping on Tuesday, part comes out Thursday, so maybe things get settled, but I just what is you are at home in Casa de Kyle?

[SPEAKER_01]: What is the like cable streaming?

[SPEAKER_01]: What are you, are you a YouTube TV guy?

[SPEAKER_01]: That's really what I want to know.

[SPEAKER_03]: no.

[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I don't have this company.

[SPEAKER_03]: I get triggered by this Jimmy because you're also, you're also touching on something else.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's set set set set is that the YouTube TV thing and I will talk about that.

[SPEAKER_03]: However, I hate this thing online where people are [SPEAKER_03]: rate my setup and it's them with 57 flat screen TVs on some basement that's 5,000 square feet and they have the fridge next to their couch and they have the dog sitting there like I have a couch and a television.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't have a goddamn David Busters in my house.

[SPEAKER_03]: You're not going to rate my setup.

[SPEAKER_03]: My setup is the same one that my dad had in 1983 and I like my setup.

[SPEAKER_03]: I do red zone [SPEAKER_03]: And occasionally I'll jump to a game that I want to focus on where I want to get the more of the full story than a red zone I have never done YouTube TV not against it.

[SPEAKER_03]: I've just never done it.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't do it.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm on my phone and I'm on my good old fashioned 60 inch LG television watching Scott Hanson or whatever the crew is doing the game.

[SPEAKER_03]: That is it.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's my setup rated if you want.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, it's embarrassing that you don't have two TVs.

[SPEAKER_03]: You know, Jim, I do have to have two televisions.

[SPEAKER_03]: There's, they do this thing where they put eight televisions on one screen.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's called the Octobox.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's right there.

[SPEAKER_01]: They don't have the octobox for the whole.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, they only do it for a second.

[SPEAKER_01]: But wait, what do you have direct TV or something?

[SPEAKER_01]: What do you have?

[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I have, like Jimmy.

[SPEAKER_03]: I got like straight old fashion Verizon cable.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that's what I have.

[SPEAKER_03]: Television.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's what you have.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I have.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, files.

[SPEAKER_01]: I got files.

[SPEAKER_01]: The thing, the reason I bring this up, I think I may have said this last week when I was, when I was talking to South.

[SPEAKER_01]: What has blown me away more than anything with this is how many people have YouTube TV?

[SPEAKER_01]: I had no idea.

[SPEAKER_01]: I know.

[SPEAKER_01]: They only have 10 million subscribers, but it seems to be everyone I follow on Twitter is as a subscriber.

[SPEAKER_01]: JJWAT has YouTube TV, I don't understand.

[SPEAKER_03]: But it's the it's the it's 10 million diehards though.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's 10 million media people.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, I think most of the NFL fans when you see I don't know whatever 32 million people watch some game That's 22 million people.

[SPEAKER_03]: I think are watching it like me and I think there's 10 million people like you know I'll listen to like Simmons and cousin Sal and they're talking about oh I put this game in the Octo I put this game and then I focused on this game and I'm like you're you're producing the the you're in the production truck I'm just trying to every subject [SPEAKER_03]: I don't do it like that, but maybe I will.

[SPEAKER_01]: Should I?

[SPEAKER_01]: It depends.

[SPEAKER_01]: It depends.

[SPEAKER_01]: I can't.

[SPEAKER_01]: So what I do is, I'll give you, I'll just tell you last Sunday.

[SPEAKER_01]: So my, my best friend, my oldest friend from 7th grade is a diehard Buffalo Bill's fan.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's obsessed with you.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think I've told you this before.

[SPEAKER_01]: My buddy Brett thinks he's friends with me.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's very good.

[SPEAKER_01]: You're big because you're a big Buffalo guy.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's a Buffalo guy.

[SPEAKER_01]: So he comes over.

[SPEAKER_01]: So on my second TV, I gave him the [SPEAKER_01]: I have a third TV, which I had on the jet game because the problem is you can't get the local games as part of the Sunday ticket if you don't have YouTube TV and I have files.

[SPEAKER_01]: So then on the big TV, that's when I go for boxes, box Patriots, Jaguars, Texans, Ravens, who did they play Vikings, and I forgot with it, and then on the [SPEAKER_01]: big computer monitor.

[SPEAKER_01]: I had the giants in the bears.

[SPEAKER_03]: There's a body that the four games on the big TV are then so small.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like can you really watch?

[SPEAKER_01]: I am, I am, I have very, very few skills in life.

[SPEAKER_01]: I have maybe like two or three skills.

[SPEAKER_01]: One of them is being able to watch a games at once.

[SPEAKER_01]: like I do it better than anyone.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I work with them.

[SPEAKER_03]: And then you also have to designate a game that has the volume, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I go, yeah, I'm the best remote work.

[SPEAKER_01]: I go, I know how to get the volume to where it needs to be for what you think.

[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like I wish you could work behind the bar at a sports bar.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I've done it because those I will never know what the hell they're doing ever.

[SPEAKER_01]: We we mean my buddies when you went to watching and see double a tournament.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: And it was at a marriot hotel, but they had all the TVs.

[SPEAKER_01]: They didn't know what they were doing.

[SPEAKER_01]: I said, the guy, you got to give me the remote.

[SPEAKER_01]: Just give me the remote.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'll handle it.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm the captain now.

[SPEAKER_03]: You're running out of reruns of Raymond.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I got to block it.

[SPEAKER_03]: But I'm a bracket buster.

[SPEAKER_01]: As the games go on, you peel off games.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like once a game, like, you know, [SPEAKER_01]: Once one team starts dominating, you can peel off and you don't focus on that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like the Jets Browns, I barely watched it.

[SPEAKER_03]: No, you can't watch it TV, but like a couple of things.

[SPEAKER_03]: One, I just remember, there's something else I do, especially for the prime time games.

[SPEAKER_03]: If it's Monday or Thursday or Sunday, a lot of times, we don't have like a lot of TVs in our house.

[SPEAKER_03]: We have one TV center by design.

[SPEAKER_03]: So if I walk into the family room and my wife is watching, she usually watch just something with British people or home renovation.

[SPEAKER_03]: If she's watching a show, [SPEAKER_03]: I can either say, babe, you know, I got to put on Vikings lions and she'll be all right with it.

[SPEAKER_03]: But you know what I do?

[SPEAKER_03]: I just take out my phone and I have the NFL app and I have the NFL plus subscription so I can watch any game on my phone.

[SPEAKER_03]: I sit there on the couch and watch it like this.

[SPEAKER_01]: See, okay.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I know this is not going to make sense because I just told all much for games at once on the quad boxes.

[SPEAKER_01]: I cannot watch.

[SPEAKER_01]: Anything on my phone.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't really like it.

[SPEAKER_03]: But I can't do it.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't want to ask her to change it either.

[SPEAKER_01]: I can't do it.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's not a second TV in the whole brand home.

[SPEAKER_03]: There is, but it's upstairs in the kids of all their video games.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like that's honestly, this is my design.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like we are where a low on TVs.

[SPEAKER_03]: We have enough goddamn screens and everything.

[SPEAKER_03]: So I've watched many games this season sitting there on the couch.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, what are you doing Kyle?

[SPEAKER_01]: Get the second TV and put you the elephant in the room.

[SPEAKER_03]: This is where I lose the people and this is where I lose you Yeah, I think I watched it football much differently than you do Yeah, but one very very very big reason is that I never ever gamble on it I don't really care.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what the spread is.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care hundred percent hundred percent But listen, whether you've gamble or not you should not be watching games on your phone when you're on the league signature morning show Jesus Christ [SPEAKER_03]: And what happens if someone text you and you got the screen like yeah, and then I will watch Twitter and I have the screen gets even smaller because I flick it up, but I'm watching Jamar Chase run like a tiny ant person as I look at my dumb feet.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Kyle, we got to upgrade you.

[SPEAKER_01]: We got to upgrade you.

[SPEAKER_01]: All right, let's get into some media topics here.

[SPEAKER_01]: All right, and we'll talk about some of the fellow stuff.

[SPEAKER_01]: Let me, well, let me start with this.

[SPEAKER_01]: You, I feel like, you know, you've become the QB interviewer this year.

[SPEAKER_01]: You didn't do it last year, I feel like this year, like every week, you got a different quarterback.

[SPEAKER_01]: I know you've done Josh Allen and Baker, Daniel Jones this week, a bunch of others, who has been the guy who has surprised you in any way, shape, or form the most from interviewing them this year.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'll give you the full lineup.

[SPEAKER_03]: So in the last three months, I've done Aaron Rogers, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Baker Mayfield, Daniel Jones.

[SPEAKER_03]: And by done, you sit there in two directors chairs, like Taylor's oldest time, and they say to you, you got 10 to 12 minutes.

[SPEAKER_03]: Sometimes they let you go longer.

[SPEAKER_03]: Sometimes they don't.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's not live.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's all taped.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's you and the quarterback.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm given the least to ask pretty much anything I want.

[SPEAKER_03]: So to your question, [SPEAKER_03]: Rogers, I've interviewed several times.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's my favorite player to interview by far in any sport and any generation.

[SPEAKER_03]: Because it's kind of that something we talked about with the announcers is that he just doesn't care.

[SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't care about being polite.

[SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't care that you're supposed to say the right thing.

[SPEAKER_03]: And he just will actually answer authentically.

[SPEAKER_03]: And he hates talking in cliches.

[SPEAKER_03]: He hates saying we just have to execute.

[SPEAKER_03]: And it's so refreshing, plus he's a guy in his 40s, which is helpful a little bit.

[SPEAKER_03]: Baker Mayfield is just like you think.

[SPEAKER_03]: He is just like the dude he walks in the room.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's immediately cool.

[SPEAKER_03]: He has this almost presidential quality of bottom when he shakes your hand.

[SPEAKER_03]: He has aura like he is kind of just congenial and fun and energetic.

[SPEAKER_03]: fascinating is burrow.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, we're saying this right now this week.

[SPEAKER_03]: They're saying that burrow maybe on the path to coming back and he's going to try to rally the bangles and Joe Burrow's going to re-enter the spotlight here.

[SPEAKER_03]: In fact, he got injured like the day after I interviewed him, which kind of sucked against Jacksonville comes in the room.

[SPEAKER_03]: Then with these quarterbacks, they're always alarmingly tall.

[SPEAKER_03]: And then when you shake their hand, it's frightening how large their hands are.

[SPEAKER_03]: Their fingers go up to your elbows.

[SPEAKER_03]: And it's like, it's like, oh crap, this guy's different type of species than I am.

[SPEAKER_03]: Bro sits down and it's everything you hear about like, [SPEAKER_03]: He just has this kind of charisma about him.

[SPEAKER_03]: And you can tell that this is not just your rank and file football player.

[SPEAKER_03]: This is a celebrity football player.

[SPEAKER_03]: This is like an international celebrity.

[SPEAKER_03]: And he has the most interesting, most unique speech pattern I've ever spoken to in any walk of life.

[SPEAKER_03]: Meaning every question that I asked him be it for Joe, how's life right now?

[SPEAKER_03]: Or how do you relate to young teammates who are just coming into the league and were maybe a late-round draft pick?

[SPEAKER_03]: He looks over to the side.

[SPEAKER_03]: He takes a breath and there's a massive three or four second pregnant pause and then he looks back at you and answers and gives a good answer.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's so unusual.

[SPEAKER_03]: He has this sensory and system where he's trying to think about his response authentically and then he gives it to you.

[SPEAKER_03]: And it's really, really unwieldy because it's just like, I don't know, it's kind of a little intimidating.

[SPEAKER_03]: And then when you get used to it, you settle in.

[SPEAKER_03]: one of the most interesting people I think I've ever been in a room with man.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's different.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: I could totally, because I also feel like I feel like there is a ton about Joe Barrow that we don't know.

[SPEAKER_01]: I agree.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, off the field, maybe not full-related.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he, you can see when he's doing his stuff with media, he's very, it's, so I didn't tell me if you agree it disagree.

[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like he's guarded, but also says a lot.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and he talks.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's not in a bedway.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to.

[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, Joe is awesome.

[SPEAKER_03]: He was really generous this time.

[SPEAKER_03]: And we went way over there.

[SPEAKER_03]: But it's, I keep saying it's interesting.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's unique.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's like, he has set on record.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I'm not really comfortable.

[SPEAKER_03]: A lot of times I'm out on skin.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think there's a lot of people who can relate to him.

[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm like, so, all right, so Joe, just a few years ago, you were just this tall kid in Ohio.

[SPEAKER_03]: You were just Joe, like you played high school football.

[SPEAKER_03]: You were good at sports, good for you.

[SPEAKER_03]: Now you're a global celebrity.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like, how do you get through life?

[SPEAKER_03]: Because that doesn't fit you.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like, who can you relate to?

[SPEAKER_03]: And he's like, honestly, O'Dell, and I talk a lot about like what it's like to live in this atmosphere.

[SPEAKER_03]: What fame is like, he's like, Tom, Tom Brady has been a really good resource.

[SPEAKER_03]: I talk to him sometimes.

[SPEAKER_03]: So those are the people that are his peers who can relate to what his life's like.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's not the guys in the locker room.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like they don't have a life like him.

[SPEAKER_03]: Right.

[SPEAKER_03]: Three Hendrickson is a great football player.

[SPEAKER_03]: His life is not like Joe Burroughs.

[SPEAKER_03]: And Jamar Chase is not like Joe Burroughs.

[SPEAKER_03]: Right.

[SPEAKER_03]: So those, that's why it's so interesting to talk to the quarterbacks man because [SPEAKER_03]: someone like Josh Allen, like you can't even imagine what it's like 24, seven to get through his life and just be a normal kind, productive, positive person.

[SPEAKER_03]: And the fact that they still do it, like they have to go through a lot of stuff to navigate to come out that way.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: I interviewed him once.

[SPEAKER_01]: Josh?

[SPEAKER_01]: Not?

[SPEAKER_01]: No, um, borough.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Not for the podcast, but it was, I interviewed him.

[SPEAKER_01]: It was like the tape before the entire world shut down [SPEAKER_01]: March 2020.

[SPEAKER_01]: March 2020.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: We never released the interview and I remember what blew me away about that interview was there is that unbelievably globally famous shot of him after he went to the National Championship Championship at LSU smoke in the cigar.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: And in that interview he told me that was the first time he had ever smoke in a cigar and I'm like that picture makes you look like you should be on the cover like cigar fish.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's fortunate.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and it was the first time then we never released the interview because then everything shut down and it was so that bummed me out.

[SPEAKER_01]: I like borrow a lot.

[SPEAKER_01]: So do you have the list of like quarterbacks coming up or is it not playing?

[SPEAKER_03]: I have my you know who I want to do the most.

[SPEAKER_03]: I really want to sit with Lamar because I don't think he does much of that like I can't think of a lot of.

[SPEAKER_03]: one-on-one Lamar jacks and I sat with him for 15 minutes interviews and also someone who I love the contrast Jimmy between someone who is such a fixture in the NFL and so famous and yet we don't really know very much about them.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like I can't tell you what Lamar's personal life is like I don't know what he's doing on Instagram.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know how he spends his time.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know any of that stuff and I've been watching him for seven years now so I would love [SPEAKER_01]: Football season is in full swing and underdog is the best place to get in on all the action playing on underdog is easy Just pick whether your favorite players will go higher or lower on stats like rushing yards receptions touchdowns and more This week.

[SPEAKER_01]: I am looking at the Monday night football game the cowboys Visit the Raiders Dallas coming off a by week playing that awful Raiders defense.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think Dallas lights up the scoreboard [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm definitely going higher on deck Prescott touchdown passes.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm going to go higher on CD lamb yards.

[SPEAKER_01]: That is on Monday night.

[SPEAKER_01]: So do that there on Underdog.

[SPEAKER_01]: Don't unload the app today.

[SPEAKER_01]: Sign up with the promo code Sports Illustrated to score $100 in bonus funds or entries when you play your first $5.

[SPEAKER_01]: How is it easy to get the, like if you wanted to do my homes in a week or two, is that easier you got to go through hoops?

[SPEAKER_03]: the league does it because I work for the NFL and they so the league does it so they know it's going to be positive and they know it's going to be supportive.

[SPEAKER_03]: Right.

[SPEAKER_03]: The homes one is complicated like I the chiefs would have to be into it.

[SPEAKER_03]: My homes would have to be in it.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if the chiefs like me, I don't know if my homes likes me, it's really interesting Jimmy.

[SPEAKER_03]: I always see these clips, you know, you see clips of people who go to like, um, [SPEAKER_03]: a Taylor Swift concert or Katy Perry, whatever, and they get to meet the star backstage after the show or something, it feels like that.

[SPEAKER_03]: You get on a plane, you drive to a random city like Indianapolis or Cincinnati, you're driven to this sort of arena stadium where it feels like there's a rock concert going on.

[SPEAKER_03]: You're brought your escorted to a single room that's small and as two chairs in it, and then you're kind of waning around for the rock star to enter and you wait and you wait and because of their schedules they're usually late.

[SPEAKER_03]: And then if there's like, okay, we are five minutes away, they're on their way, they're two minutes away, they're 30 seconds away.

[SPEAKER_03]: And you know, you kind of kind of stay calm because I got to be cool and relatable and I'm getting nervous.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: And then they walk in the room and depending on the guys like, whoosh.

[SPEAKER_03]: And then you sit down and it's just like go because usually the statuses.

[SPEAKER_03]: 10 or 12 minutes, not 10 minutes, not 12, 10 or 12.

[SPEAKER_03]: Now, normally the person who's in charge of enforcing the 10 or 12 minutes is behind the player in your eyesight, waiting and listening.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I've been hard wrapped before.

[SPEAKER_03]: Full on this right now, and I'm like, I got three more questions.

[SPEAKER_03]: It has it been 12 minutes, but you get hard wrapped.

[SPEAKER_03]: I've also been like, I'm at the 18 minutes, and they're still letting it go.

[SPEAKER_03]: You just keep on going, [SPEAKER_03]: It's really nerve-wracking, but it feels like going backstage to meet a rock star like during or after the concert.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's a real rush.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's it blows my mind that you have to deal with that when you work for the like it's one thing for me to deal with that bullshit because who wants to come on this dopey podcast and have me grill it but like you're doing these interviews for the leagues channel and there's still doing that you just remind me because I know this is right up your alley.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Have you ever seen the famous clip of what was her name now from MTV.

[SPEAKER_01]: She was interviewing more Tabitha.

[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.

[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah interviewing Mariah Carey when they wrap her up.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think I know that one.

[SPEAKER_01]: I will text it to you.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's one of the greatest clips that you she run through the stop sign or something.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, she does more than run through it.

[SPEAKER_01]: She starts fighting with the publicist.

[SPEAKER_01]: MRI is ready to basically like soil herself because she's so nervous and doesn't know what to do.

[SPEAKER_03]: Well, listen, we had that during the election with the Kamala interview.

[SPEAKER_03]: Remember, there was a hard wrap there and everyone's got this stuff.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't understand what you like you do.

[SPEAKER_03]: But I want to see them arrive, Cliff.

[SPEAKER_01]: Awesome.

[SPEAKER_01]: All right.

[SPEAKER_01]: Let me ask you this.

[SPEAKER_01]: We, I mean, listen, you're sort of less man standing on good morning football, but I would think the departure of Peter Schreger is a little bit different than the departures of Kay Adams in April of sin.

[SPEAKER_04]: No.

[SPEAKER_01]: How has it been doing good morning football this year without strings?

[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I have to say this first and you know, I love you.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's fine.

[SPEAKER_03]: I always like, I always kind of wins at the last man's standing and you'd understand why I know.

[SPEAKER_03]: I know, I know.

[SPEAKER_03]: But like, I have so much respect for Jamie Ruddall and man's I tell and everyone who does it and whoever who gets up at two in the morning in LA and brings it like I love them and I understand what that phrase means and I know where you're going with it.

[SPEAKER_03]: I just don't, that's not a phrase I [SPEAKER_03]: Jimmy you know this better than anybody you've potted with Peter and me together.

[SPEAKER_03]: I like the people I work with I will always will but like Peter was very very special to me very special.

[SPEAKER_03]: It was like It was the closest thing that I've ever felt to cornhizer and wool bond like those guys who have watched for 25 years and I'm miss them terribly and it's like this thing where all right So you have this like mutual break up or whatever reason and that's fine.

[SPEAKER_03]: The problem is [SPEAKER_03]: It's when I go to the goddamn gym and I'm sitting there working out and I got to see my ex with her new lover and you know, they're doing things and I'm like, wow, she's into that and she's like that and like, oh, I feel like I could do that better than her new man or like it's like I'm sitting there watching it as I'm exercising.

[SPEAKER_03]: And Peter said in her next to Cam Newton on first take and I'm like, I want to jump through the screen.

[SPEAKER_03]: I just heard what Peter said.

[SPEAKER_03]: And he made some reference to something that was funny and interesting.

[SPEAKER_03]: And 50,000 miles an hour over five guys heads, which fine, it's not how they're wired.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm wired like that.

[SPEAKER_03]: I wanted somebody tag me in.

[SPEAKER_03]: So I can help Peter with the reference A.

[SPEAKER_03]: And so I can enjoy it B.

[SPEAKER_03]: So my my volume's going up my my face is getting red.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's like how you talk about an X.

I don't get center Peter and X, but Jimmy.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to be cool and be like, yeah, you know, he chose to move on to his piano.

[SPEAKER_03]: We're doing a great thing here.

[SPEAKER_03]: Of course.

[SPEAKER_03]: I missed the shit out of Peter.

[SPEAKER_01]: Of course.

[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.

[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.

[SPEAKER_01]: That is.

[SPEAKER_01]: That is, and because also too, you know, and this also has to go into sort of I get why you don't like the last man standing, but it's also it's based on also like you guys had chemistry and when you do what you do, it's very difficult to find that chemistry and I'm sure, you know, I'm sure, you know, the seasons now moved on a lot, but I'm sure earlier.

[SPEAKER_01]: In those first few weeks at Adam you probably thought you had a line that he would love oh he's not there.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I could set this.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Peter is not there.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean when you have that chemistry and then it's over.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's got to be it's listen.

[SPEAKER_03]: I think that all the time.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm not going to talk too much about Peter because Peter's got his but like believe me.

[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I see that is I watch him on TV.

[SPEAKER_03]: and he's sitting with people at a table and he's doing his thing and he's doing the straggler thing and he's incredible at it and like I don't know if necessarily that there's the chemistry coming back at him from the other people who they got their own thing going on like they don't they're not maybe wired for Peter as well as I was well my my prediction is someone who covers sports media for living that is someone who is friends with you in real life but as a sports media person I predict that [SPEAKER_01]: ESPN purchase happens in the government puts it through, et cetera, et cetera.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying you won't be on good morning football, I'm not saying they would change.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying, I don't know what's going to happen with anything else, but they would be really stupid to not pair you guys up in some way shape or form when you become an ESPN person when this sale happens.

[SPEAKER_03]: I would always, always, always love to do anything with Peter.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's my guy.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's my number one guy.

[SPEAKER_01]: So when you, when you see that he is pins going to buy the NFL network, what goes through your head?

[SPEAKER_03]: What's your excitement?

[SPEAKER_03]: excitement.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'll tell you why.

[SPEAKER_03]: Because you let's say that for the last nine years, I get to play in this really cool, but modest sandbox that is NFL network now NFL media.

[SPEAKER_03]: And it's done amazing things for my life and my career and my family and everything.

[SPEAKER_03]: But then the news comes in that a massive [SPEAKER_03]: all powerful, all-able corporation company is going to say, complain, our sandbox, you can be in ours now.

[SPEAKER_03]: And we got all this stuff to play with in any way that you want.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's an awesome thing.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's the kind of thing, Jimmy, where like, I'll get a text from an aunt that I haven't talked to in four years about, wow, I read about the, does this mean you're going to be on?

[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like it's a big deal.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, [SPEAKER_03]: There's more to do.

[SPEAKER_03]: There's more people watching.

[SPEAKER_03]: There's more ability.

[SPEAKER_03]: And so like I especially at this point in my career, I think it's fantastic.

[SPEAKER_03]: I really do mean that.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not just saying it like it's time.

[SPEAKER_01]: Would you ever want a solo show or would you always want to be part of an ensemble?

[SPEAKER_03]: You know, anybody who says they don't ever want to solo show a soul full of shit, you know, I've had different versions of solo shows before different versions of success.

[SPEAKER_03]: I've never thought of that Jimmy.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't need to have a solo show.

[SPEAKER_03]: I want to do something where it's fun and people tune in because it seems authentic.

[SPEAKER_03]: All I care, all I care about I could be at 20 people on it or just me.

[SPEAKER_03]: Does it feel like an authentic show where people are saying things that they really believe and really say it's all I care about at this point Jimmy in work?

[SPEAKER_03]: At home, I just want to talk to real people and have real conversations where we're not lying or trying to be cool or trying to look different.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's all I care about.

[SPEAKER_03]: So if it's me and the entire ESPN NFL network talent roster great, you know, that's all I want.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think, you know, what I hope happens to is [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want what I what I what I've always said this what I love about you in Peter specifically is that you're not x athletes and can still have such good takes be entertaining be smart about what you're discussing it's so rare because all these networks, not just these benefits all x athlete x athlete x athlete and to me.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm tired of that.

[SPEAKER_01]: So I would love, you know, look at, you mentioned PTI before, like, tune on athletes, they have like the longest, most successful show of any sports show on TV.

[SPEAKER_03]: So like, yeah, but I'm still a thing, man.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm telling you that I hear what you're saying and I feel like it would be a popular opinion that, but I have been in rooms.

[SPEAKER_03]: I've been part of [SPEAKER_03]: Zoom sessions about potentially joining a project or a broadcast and like they are looking for those x players They don't on being or any dissolution that in this era of podcasts and Pardon my take and just all these successes.

[SPEAKER_03]: They are still looking for those quarterbacks those cowboys They love it and I've I've pitched myself before to different projects things that are on the air now that are very high profile Where I'm like listen [SPEAKER_03]: you got five people right and you got three of them were X NFL players three like not one or two three I would just be like a voice of the fan or in every manner just something different a wild card just don't you want one wild card That's not an X player right and they always like the idea and they don't go for it So I think that the X player thing if there's it's always the first choice and it's still a very very powerful thing Yeah, that's a bummer [SPEAKER_01]: And it's just so weird because we talk, we're friends, but I cover sports, I see things that you don't tell me that I think of immediately.

[SPEAKER_01]: For instance, all these reports came out that SVP might move to five o'clock.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then I see you're on with SVP every Sunday night.

[SPEAKER_01]: So in my head, I automatically go, okay, they'll move SVP to five p.m.

and Kyle can be his partner.

[SPEAKER_01]: But that's my thinking is on the cover.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, Jimmy, thank you for thinking about that.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I think you guys are like, again, that same mentality, same personality, not trying to be like, you know, Joe sports and like breakdown, like the cover too, like you guys, I think would be great together.

[SPEAKER_01]: But you, I tell me about doing the Sundays with that.

[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I consider what you said, he's compliment.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I just, with Scott, I just get back to authenticity.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, it's just someone who just talks like a normal person.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's, it doesn't feel performative.

[SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't feel, [SPEAKER_03]: deliberately like a provocateur.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's just he's just talking and he's talking calmly and intelligently.

[SPEAKER_03]: So the behind the scenes on it, and I don't think Scott would mind me disclosing.

[SPEAKER_03]: This is that Scott reached out very generously in same, hey, you want to talk the games on Sunday night and I was like, yeah, of course, I'd love to.

[SPEAKER_03]: And he's like, if you can one week, great.

[SPEAKER_03]: And if you can't find like, it's all this vibe that he puts out on the air.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's the same way on the text chain.

[SPEAKER_03]: And then it [SPEAKER_03]: the production on that show and the producers on that show.

[SPEAKER_03]: There is not some very hardy, tauty and tense production meeting about what will you say and how will we match the video.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's this great thing where you get a text and it's like, what do you feeling?

[SPEAKER_03]: What are you into?

[SPEAKER_03]: And I'll shoot back some ideas and they're like, great.

[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go with it.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's solo maintenance.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's so authentic.

[SPEAKER_03]: I know that ESPN is the big dog, it's the worldwide leader and it gets a lot of eyeballs and a lot of the eyeballs go to things that people look at as heavily produced and big bright neon lights and colorful and loud and entertaining and volatile and polarizing and that stuff all is great.

[SPEAKER_03]: And then I go on Scott show and it generally feels like I am talking to a colleague or an industry friend who just wants to know what I thought about the bear's game and it's not only is it fun, it's just refreshing and I'm really thankful that he invites me to do it.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, I have one important question about that segment and I've never asked you this even off.

[SPEAKER_03]: No, I can't wait.

[SPEAKER_01]: Are you doing that live?

[SPEAKER_03]: That's the best part.

[SPEAKER_03]: Ben Pelt is also, he understands what a life is like a but broadcaster.

[SPEAKER_03]: So.

[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_03]: Good.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's like, we'll tape it.

[SPEAKER_03]: And he's setting it on the air that we tape it.

[SPEAKER_03]: Because you can't get that late.

[SPEAKER_03]: He also like, it's when you work with someone as experienced as him, he has these little nuances that will also help you out where the first couple times I did it.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's like, look, I don't want to, you know, take all of your takes.

[SPEAKER_03]: I know you need Monday morning to have takes, which is an insightful thing to think about, where it's like, this person I know has only so many things to say about the Ravens.

[SPEAKER_03]: He says in my mind, my show, how is he saying on his show?

[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm like, no, I can make up some other stuff.

[SPEAKER_03]: So it's just, it's a very comfortable atmosphere up to an including your question, which is, Scott's like, yeah, come on early and we'll tape it and then we'll just run it.

[SPEAKER_03]: And it's just, it's start to finish.

[SPEAKER_03]: I look forward to it every Sunday.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's not what it was like, oh, I got to go on this podcast.

[SPEAKER_01]: Because when I see it, I get nervous.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, he's got to get up in like four hours.

[SPEAKER_01]: I hope he's done it alive.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm good.

[SPEAKER_01]: I feel better.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's a pyramid.

[SPEAKER_01]: A couple of football things.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: I love that this season is wide open.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't think anyone has a clue of which two teams will be in the Super Bowl.

[SPEAKER_01]: Correct.

[SPEAKER_01]: I like that.

[SPEAKER_01]: How do you feel about that?

[SPEAKER_03]: Love it.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'll tell you why.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: When you do this just year after year after year, [SPEAKER_03]: You just crave a dash of something fresh, just give you a new flavor.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's like someone who works at McDonald's just to eat the same McDonald's food.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like every once in a while, like imagine someone just like brought them in like a freshly made salad or a steak or something.

[SPEAKER_03]: And then they would love it to that point.

[SPEAKER_03]: I was talking about this recently that, do you remember like seven years ago, Jimmy, when the final four quarterbacks in the NFL, were Tom Brady, case keynum, Nick Folls, and Blake Bordles.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's a funny picture.

[SPEAKER_03]: There's an illustration of them walking away.

[SPEAKER_03]: I loved that year, because it was weird, and it was clear that it was an outlier.

[SPEAKER_03]: This season has the makings of maybe some of that, where we can be like, all right, guys, title game weekend.

[SPEAKER_03]: We got Daniel Jones and Sam Darnold.

[SPEAKER_03]: And we have, I don't know, Mac Jones, I don't even know who it is going to be.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's just like, it's not, I don't think it's going to be homes in Ireland and hurts, and Stafford or love.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I want a little bit of a freak show, and this season feels like it could be [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, the one thing is that I I get bummed out about it does seem like it's just so crazy that Like when you see what the Patriots did and then the chiefs after that in terms of the dynasty [SPEAKER_01]: I think we take it for granted how hard that was to do because you look at a team like the Bengals who got to a Super Bowl, we thought, okay, they're going to be here for a while.

[SPEAKER_01]: They have no defense whatsoever now.

[SPEAKER_01]: Last year, Washington, we thought, okay, this is going to be a team now.

[SPEAKER_01]: This year, disaster.

[SPEAKER_01]: If the lions don't win it all this year, I think you might start to hear like what's going to happen in Detroit we thought that it's so hard for teams to get to that love that's why when people should on the chiefs that they're either tired of the chiefs or this or that I'm like I don't to me I have nothing but appreciation for the chiefs and what they've done I don't but that's just me I know other people get sick of them [SPEAKER_03]: Well, that's just about the lions.

[SPEAKER_03]: I remember when they lost a couple of years ago and they play off unexpectedly, Campbell was so perfect afterwards.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's like, this might have been our best shot.

[SPEAKER_03]: I told the guys, like, you don't get here that often.

[SPEAKER_03]: It is really difficult to get back.

[SPEAKER_03]: We've seen it a thousand times.

[SPEAKER_03]: Remember when Rogers won the Super Bowl, and everyone's like, well, he's gonna be here every year.

[SPEAKER_03]: He may win five or six.

[SPEAKER_03]: Never got back, never will get back.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like, we have to cash it in early and to your point about the chiefs.

[SPEAKER_03]: Here's why I come out about the chiefs this year.

[SPEAKER_03]: So they're five and four right now, like they're really in danger, and their second half schedule is going to be hard.

[SPEAKER_03]: I would hate the chiefs to miss the playoffs.

[SPEAKER_03]: I want them in.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't care if they win once they get there, but think about this.

[SPEAKER_03]: What if something crazy happens this year?

[SPEAKER_03]: What if Buffalo turns it on, turns it around, and wins the Super Bowl, and doesn't go through the chiefs who didn't even make the playoffs.

[SPEAKER_03]: Don't tell me that is not a little fly in the ointment.

[SPEAKER_03]: I remember vividly Jimmy, I'll above wheelhouse for you.

[SPEAKER_03]: Michael Jordan's first retirement, retires to go play baseball, and Patrick Ewing goes to him and says, no, you can't retire.

[SPEAKER_03]: I have to beat you.

[SPEAKER_03]: You have to stay in this league.

[SPEAKER_03]: I have to beat you.

[SPEAKER_03]: He was so pissed.

[SPEAKER_03]: So the chiefs have to be there.

[SPEAKER_03]: When lose, I don't care.

[SPEAKER_03]: But I want them in and I want someone to have to go through them.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: I love the way you put it, freak show.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's what I, that's how it's like.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like if you, if you said to me right now, you could have any Super Bowl in the world.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like I'd say, Colt C.

Hawks.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like give me give me something Daniel Jones versus Sam Darnold.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, why not want that right?

[SPEAKER_01]: You know what you mean that might happen hurt her at small homes been there done that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, let's move on.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I would love to see that.

[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't I you know, I don't know about Indy.

[SPEAKER_01]: Seattle's got a real chance.

[SPEAKER_03]: My other great.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's great.

[SPEAKER_01]: Good.

[SPEAKER_01]: Speaking of all that, I didn't know this, but you told me you have an MVP vote this year.

[SPEAKER_01]: Can you feel it?

[SPEAKER_01]: Do you feel it?

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I feel like I also just- How does it come about that you get an MVP vote?

[SPEAKER_01]: Let me start with that.

[SPEAKER_03]: So, for a long time, there was a dynamic where people who worked for NFL Media were not allowed to have it.

[SPEAKER_03]: And they just there was a guideline where there just that wasn't allowed now that has gone so I Don't remember that here.

[SPEAKER_01]: I remember that you're right.

[SPEAKER_03]: Right.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's like somebody did get over to ask me.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's like, do you want to do you want to be people?

[SPEAKER_03]: And I was like, oh, that'd be awesome.

[SPEAKER_03]: Amazing for real.

[SPEAKER_03]: So I got one.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I like I know a couple other of my colleagues in NFL media have one too.

[SPEAKER_03]: But I feel like this is a reference I can only make to you like Peter.

[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like Wayne and Garth with the backstage passes just showing them to everybody.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like I have an MVP vote, I have one, I have one, I have one, I get the vote for MVP, I have to vote for MVP because also Jimmy, you know this too.

[SPEAKER_03]: I also will be voting for all pro.

[SPEAKER_03]: And those lists become public, like those lists, we're like, Kyle Brandt, didn't vote for Penny, school to be first team all pro, let's let's attack him on Twitter or Kyle Brandt.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I'll tell you this, Jimmy, I'm going to vote MVP and who I think MVP is.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to go on Twitter and go with the popular vote.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not just going to pick the quarterback with the best stats and the best team.

[SPEAKER_03]: I may have an unconventional choice for MVP and I'm going to be proud of that.

[SPEAKER_03]: They may take this thing away after one year.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't care.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to be me this year.

[SPEAKER_01]: Who could you pick now, trying to think, who could you pick that would like ruffle feathers?

[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I mean, even honestly, just, even just picking Jonathan Taylor ruffle feathers, there's this stupid thing now where everyone's like, well, he's the offensive player of the year.

[SPEAKER_03]: We just give that to the best running back.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's it, yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: Why?

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't like that.

[SPEAKER_03]: Well, you'd be safe.

[SPEAKER_01]: There is a major like as an I don't get worked up about postseason awards I still don't that a long time ago, but there is a major issue with the lack of definition for what the MVP It's like when I think of MVP what I say in my head is if this person got hurt and was not on the team all year What would happen but by that standard you can pick 50 people so is it [SPEAKER_01]: the best season.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how I don't know how you what qualifies for MVP anymore.

[SPEAKER_03]: Well, if you really want to get into the interesting one, the comeback player, the years fascinating, fascinating, because it has run the gamut from, I can just list them off top of my head.

[SPEAKER_03]: Eric Barry, the chief safety, who came back from cancer, and then Joe Flacco, who came [SPEAKER_03]: She, you know, Smith won it too from just kind of being bad and then being good and then, you know, Jordan Nelson blew out his knee and came back and won and come back player the year.

[SPEAKER_03]: So there is a conversation about what are we doing with this award and I do think they now have clarity and I've been coached up on it.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I know how to vote.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_01]: I also think what I don't like about MVP too.

[SPEAKER_01]: I hate that it's in every week discussion.

[SPEAKER_01]: I can't with the season play out.

[SPEAKER_03]: I know.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I have a rule.

[SPEAKER_03]: I want to discuss it until at the week 10, which is where we are now.

[SPEAKER_03]: I won't discuss it.

[SPEAKER_01]: I love that rule.

[SPEAKER_01]: Make it like week 15.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, should be all right.

[SPEAKER_01]: What else do I want to get into here with you?

[SPEAKER_01]: I let's do some pop culture stuff.

[SPEAKER_01]: Right.

[SPEAKER_01]: What you call it because I didn't know.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'll let me.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, let me start with this because I said, I got to ask college.

[SPEAKER_01]: I have not watched it yet.

[SPEAKER_01]: And my plan is to watch it either.

[SPEAKER_01]: Tonight Tuesday night or Wednesday night when there's no football.

[SPEAKER_01]: Have you watched the John candy doc on Amazon Prime?

[SPEAKER_01]: I said that would be a Kyle thing I bet.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's called I like me and I did watch it and do you recommend it?

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's really melancholy.

[SPEAKER_03]: It is.

[SPEAKER_03]: And it's like, it's a lot of stuff with his kids and it's Jesus, he was so young when he died.

[SPEAKER_03]: And now he and I are significantly older than he was when he died.

[SPEAKER_04]: Right.

[SPEAKER_03]: But I did watch it, I did enjoy it.

[SPEAKER_03]: And um, [SPEAKER_03]: Steve Martin.

[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, they got the right people like Steve Martin talking about John candy.

[SPEAKER_03]: I am in you have me for two hours if it's just him and Steve Martin is so smart and so insightful and he just tells these stories from planes trains and automobiles about John can he was very sensitive, you know, and he was a very, very soft and very kind person, but also like kind of do himself like [SPEAKER_01]: It's weird.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's a guy, you know what I saw there was a doc coming out about him and you hear the name.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's like You know you love that guy.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know you love this movies, but you feel like you know I don't want to see he's underrated, but I guess because he died so we're early [SPEAKER_01]: doesn't get sort of that shine that he should get in a way.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like I feel like he's a gun, but forgotten kind of guy unfortunately.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's also, I think he's like part of this really macabre triumvirate where it's like our parents, John Balushi went, right?

[SPEAKER_03]: And then like when we were young, John candy went, and then we got a little older and then farly went.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.

[SPEAKER_03]: And they felt so similar all three of them.

[SPEAKER_03]: The good thing with candy is that like I don't know like the TikTok generation Jimmy like what movie of John candy are they going to watch like they're not I don't think they're watching on go buck or great outdoors or anything I think they're watching planes trains maybe if their parents put on a Thanksgiving.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think they'll watch that either.

[SPEAKER_01]: They're just gonna watch clips.

[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe, yeah, you're probably right.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like the, I saw there was a, there was a Kimmel segment recently where Emma Stone did, she did the F bomb scene at the rental car.

[SPEAKER_03]: And it was a really funny, like, viral segment.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I like that she even knew what that was.

[SPEAKER_03]: But again, likely people who know what it is is because it's a clip that you watch of just that scene.

[SPEAKER_03]: Now.

[SPEAKER_01]: I had a friend of mine tell me this week that he did something out of college spoken to college and he said, he thinks podcasts, you'll like this because you hate doing podcasts.

[SPEAKER_01]: He said he thinks they're going to be done in like three years because nobody college listens podcasts every single thing for everyone under the age of like 21.

[SPEAKER_01]: is just video clips.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's it video clips video clip.

[SPEAKER_01]: You see your podcast like poor bulls Simmons like the ringer like they got to put everything now on YouTube which I don't think he probably won't I mean I don't know that but my guess is he's probably but like you have to do it and I don't think kids say like [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if they'll ever watch anything that's more than two minutes, it's really unbelievable.

[SPEAKER_03]: I deal with social media producers all the time that the NFL hires to it with our stuff.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I'll say to them, like, I'll text, I'll be like, hey, can we get this clip of the thing I was talking about about the Seahawks or whatever?

[SPEAKER_03]: And they're like, yeah, but we need to pair it now.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm like, it's like two minutes and 15 seconds.

[SPEAKER_03]: They're like, yeah, we need to get it down to like maybe 90 seconds.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I was like, but then you missed the whole good part at the end.

[SPEAKER_03]: I blew up to the end.

[SPEAKER_03]: They're like, yeah, we got to get a clip cleaner.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, you have no idea how much that makes my blood boil.

[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I get it.

[SPEAKER_03]: And what's our choice, though, just to say, no, I'm going to keep doing it.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm going to invest in newspapers and magazines.

[SPEAKER_03]: Like, if they say that's what moves, I guess we have to do it.

[SPEAKER_03]: It sucks, though.

[SPEAKER_01]: and you're also catering to an audience, and I know this because of my nieces, you catering to an audience that falls for everything, has no idea what's real, what's fake, and that's the audience you catering to.

[SPEAKER_01]: So what are we doing?

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't understand, but.

[SPEAKER_03]: they need constant energy and excitement and interjection.

[SPEAKER_03]: I remember I'll Josh Allen mentioned him earlier.

[SPEAKER_03]: A few years ago, I had him on my podcast every week and we would do a movie review thing where I would recommend a movie from my generation that he had not seen before.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I'll never forget he did not like the princess bride, did not like it.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I was like, it's so charming and wonderful.

[SPEAKER_03]: He's like, [SPEAKER_03]: That's kind of falling asleep.

[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I was like, what the sword fighting in giants and stuff, but watch it back Jimmy, it's a little slow and it's a little low energy and they look at it differently than we do.

[SPEAKER_03]: And he's not even that young compared to really young people, but that's how we felt at the time.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I get it.

[SPEAKER_01]: to bummer.

[SPEAKER_01]: Speaking of movies.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, two more.

[SPEAKER_01]: I saw this morning, bruising the World Wide Web that today on Tuesday that we're taking this is Leonardo DiCaprio's 51st birthday.

[SPEAKER_01]: And when I saw that, I said, I got to ask Kyle what's his favorite Leonardo DiCaprio movie.

[SPEAKER_03]: Well, listen, dude, I'm supposed to say that a parted were like Leo turned tough and got muscular and was beaten people up.

[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you could say the [SPEAKER_03]: it's Titanic.

[SPEAKER_03]: I like Titanic.

[SPEAKER_03]: I say it with my chest as the kids say.

[SPEAKER_03]: I have never in my life in December of 1997 watching that movie in the theater, could not believe what I was looking at, what was happening, the boat, the sinking, the whole second act.

[SPEAKER_03]: I bought the love story.

[SPEAKER_03]: I bought the [SPEAKER_03]: And it's a terribly cheesy script and all that, but I don't care.

[SPEAKER_03]: I still mess with Titanific Jenga.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't mind saying I love it.

[SPEAKER_01]: I can't tell you how much I hate that salinity on song.

[SPEAKER_03]: I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't tell you how much I can't [SPEAKER_03]: Once upon a time in Hollywood is excellent, I get all that stuff.

[SPEAKER_03]: I love all that shit.

[SPEAKER_03]: But I'm a sucker for Titanic.

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't apologize just for it.

[SPEAKER_01]: I still go with his first movie, which was what TD didn't go but great.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, that was a rough movie, but what's eating Gilbert great, but like Jimmy are you and a weekend Are you like I got a couple free hours.

[SPEAKER_03]: I got a pop in Gilbert great like no.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, no I want to do that with a titanic either, but Well, that's true.

[SPEAKER_03]: I have the double VHS still from back in the day All right, last thing here.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so we're taping this on Tuesday.

[SPEAKER_01]: So it's veterans day.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and [SPEAKER_01]: I am, this is how I've been now since the day I saw it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Whereas, when I hear that, when I hear the word veteran's day, yeah, I think of one thing, and I know people going to be like, oh, he's supposed to think of troops.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think of one thing, and I think of one thing only.

[SPEAKER_01]: Look, the Ali G-Sket with the veterinarian, oh, he's confused about veterans and veterinarians.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, I got to ask Kyle because I personally feel like the old [SPEAKER_01]: piece of entertainment that's ever been created.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like I feel like people didn't know about it.

[SPEAKER_01]: It was like, before social media.

[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, then Borat became this monster thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: When Ali G was on HBO, I think it was on Friday nights at midnight or something.

[SPEAKER_01]: Did you watch it when it was on?

[SPEAKER_01]: Did you come to it late?

[SPEAKER_01]: What was your experience with that?

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm thrilled of this question.

[SPEAKER_01]: Thrilled of this.

[SPEAKER_03]: I love that show.

[SPEAKER_01]: Love that show.

[SPEAKER_03]: Love that show.

[SPEAKER_03]: Me too.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'll go so far, Jimmy.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'll make the claim that on my personal HBO Rushmore, it's on there.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's on there.

[SPEAKER_01]: OK, so I've been asked, when we do what we do here, people always ask us the same questions over and over.

[SPEAKER_01]: and we always get HBO, Mount Rushmore.

[SPEAKER_01]: You never know.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, sopranos, game of thrones, and bubble, and no one ever says Ali G and it.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's mine.

[SPEAKER_03]: Mine too.

[SPEAKER_03]: So we probably have the same.

[SPEAKER_03]: You're not the game of thrones guy, right?

[SPEAKER_03]: No, all right, so Game of Thrones sopranos, curb and the Ali G show in no particular order.

[SPEAKER_03]: This guy, so he's just doing three characters.

[SPEAKER_03]: He would do Borot, and he would do Bruno, and then he would do Ali G.

And he would go as Bruno, and he'd be like, hey, being gay is the new coolest thing.

[SPEAKER_03]: So I went to the gayest place in America, Alabama, and he goes to an Alabama football game.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_03]: He gets in interview afterwards with the Star Runnyback [SPEAKER_03]: And he's like starts hitting on him and saying like what do you have to say to all your gay fans out there and he's like what like it's it's Unbelievably Compiling to watch how often how far he pushes it Ali Jean watch his sit down with Andy Rooney It's like the best like that that's it that is oh my god that is I wish I could reach through the screen and hug you that [SPEAKER_03]: That thing with Andy Rooney is maybe the when he says he've been racialist to me Yeah This is your black racialist Well, did you go say hey because any reason like any or Andy Rooney's like and the interview I can't do this and Ali's you goes he's chucking me out cuz the color me skin and and you're anybody knows What who's black eyes?

[SPEAKER_03]: You're black.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I is and he's like he's a white guy.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's it's [SPEAKER_01]: I'll give you, I don't even know if I should do this, but I'll give you my single all-time greatest Ali G moment from that show.

[SPEAKER_01]: He has on like a sex expert or sex therapy, a sex expert or whatever.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's like a table full of like sex toys, whatever, and they're talking.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he says to the say, it's the way he does it, the dead series, and he says to the sex expert, [SPEAKER_01]: You're like, can I get me Julie pregnant if we, I go in the bung hole or whatever.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and she's like, no, and he just turns to the camera and goes, see, I told you, Julie, it's not my, I think.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh.

[SPEAKER_01]: See, he's doing that.

[SPEAKER_01]: But the veteran veterinarian skit, I remember to this day and I have a terrible memory.

[SPEAKER_01]: I remember watching that live for the first time.

[SPEAKER_01]: And gasping for breath.

[SPEAKER_01]: This poor old man, well, he's not that old.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's probably like 50s or 60s.

[SPEAKER_01]: These are veterans, my Korean war.

[SPEAKER_01]: The sweet, no, he's a veterinarian.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Reverend.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like the sweetest, nicest old man.

[SPEAKER_01]: And Ali G just, it's five straight minutes [SPEAKER_01]: and [SPEAKER_01]: the way Ali G can keep going.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm sure it's edited because I don't understand how you can do that straight through.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's, but it irritates me to know end that that show is not talked about.

[SPEAKER_03]: I know history of great.

[SPEAKER_03]: Because the the production of them landing in those interviews to get Bouchro, Bouchro's, Gali or Sam Donaldson who think they're sitting down with some young up and coming TV show, Ali G sits with a guy who's in charge of like some sort of like post 9-11 security initiatives or whatever.

[SPEAKER_03]: There ain't much security on trains, what's the stop someone from hijacking a train and crashing it into the White House and like the full serious question and the guys at well, well, that would be quite difficult.

[SPEAKER_01]: What you mean, it's right, he asked Sam Dallas and I think he goes.

[SPEAKER_01]: How come you guys don't give us the news?

[SPEAKER_01]: The day before it happens.

[SPEAKER_01]: So we know if there's going to be a fire.

[SPEAKER_01]: Right.

[SPEAKER_01]: The look of these people, the deer and the headlights.

[SPEAKER_03]: He gets that.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm just going.

[SPEAKER_03]: He gets the sit down with this high-end New York City publisher.

[SPEAKER_03]: And so he's going to pitch book products to this publisher.

[SPEAKER_03]: And he goes, I say we make a book version of the Lord of the Rings.

[SPEAKER_03]: And it's like he just keeps pitching movies their based on books and the guy gets more and more mad and he's So we'll make boat loads of cash.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's so good.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's interesting because I feel like everyone just you know Borat was so huge in the movie and it's like I feel like Ali G sort of gotten and they made an Ali G movie But it was kind of weird and it's really weird.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, 100%.

[SPEAKER_03]: I love it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well like I said I [SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's because of the column I do every day like there's certain thing like when it's Halloween, I post the curb clip you have library with the trick trees veterans day.

[SPEAKER_01]: I always post that veteran veterinarian close to today.

[SPEAKER_01]: I got to watch it.

[SPEAKER_01]: I took the day off because of the holiday.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because like, you know, they're like, it's holiday.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, well, we're going to take it because it's a Tuesday.

[SPEAKER_01]: So there's nothing, even though there is stuff going on with the YouTube thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: But, um, and I wanted it since we were taking it in the morning.

[SPEAKER_01]: I figured I'll take the day.

[SPEAKER_01]: So there we go.

[SPEAKER_01]: All right, post the clip.

[SPEAKER_01]: I got to watch that.

[SPEAKER_01]: I will post that clip.

[SPEAKER_01]: I got to send you the mori clip.

[SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate you doing this, I know you're a busy guy, how brand good morning, football, and if we even get into the NFL today with those awesome skits, they're coming down the road.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe I'll be on there in the playoffs or something, and uh, MVP vote so much going on.

[SPEAKER_01]: All right, thank you, thank you, it's easy.

[SPEAKER_01]: All right, joining me now from WFA and a radio in New York, and YTV in New York, my buddy, Salah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Kata Sal, how's it going?

[SPEAKER_02]: Um, looking forward to Thanksgiving and joining some holiday time.

[SPEAKER_02]: Otherwise, okay.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm glad to hear you say that because I feel like Thanksgiving just gets so completely screwed.

[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone goes from Halloween, which is ridiculous to Christmas.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then thanksgiving gets shafted.

[SPEAKER_01]: So good for you to acknowledge.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a huge Thanksgiving guy.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: How can you not be?

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you get the football games.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's all the food.

[SPEAKER_02]: I love Thanksgiving.

[SPEAKER_02]: What?

[SPEAKER_02]: To me, it's fewer people than Christmas, could fewer chaos.

[SPEAKER_01]: Thanksgiving's great.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think people don't put up.

[SPEAKER_01]: The reason to get chef that is because people don't put up Thanksgiving decorations.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, from the Halloween nonsense, you stupid ghosts and goblins to write to the Christmas lights and people don't put up a turkey or something.

[SPEAKER_02]: Stupid ghosts and goblins, yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: So get chefed it.

[SPEAKER_01]: That should be decorations of like all the food.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's what it's all about.

[SPEAKER_01]: Um, last week, you sort of hand-waved the YouTube TV Disney dispute.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're now week two, how are you holding open?

[SPEAKER_02]: Honestly, the same thing.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was looking forward to discussing that with you again because you were saying what's your line?

[SPEAKER_02]: My line has been drawn and I'm not moving from it and it's not because I don't want to watch the product It's because I'm not going over hurdles or whatever that you know going to leaps and bounds to get it.

[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't care anymore, and I believe good Now you go you go.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I believe that the majority of people are gonna start to feel like me [SPEAKER_02]: because when is enough enough?

[SPEAKER_02]: If I chase this down and go get another bundle, so I could watch a Monday night football game or college football, when does it end?

[SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you when it ends.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I don't think there's no way on Earth.

[SPEAKER_01]: It would last this long.

[SPEAKER_01]: But he has been airs in NFL playoff game and they have the college football playoff.

[SPEAKER_01]: So, I think you would have [SPEAKER_01]: You would have no problem blowing off the college football playoff.

[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of people listening to this podcast, that would be a problem for them.

[SPEAKER_01]: I did, I will say, I got a lot of feedback from people saying, tell Sal to get direct TV stream.

[SPEAKER_01]: But you had, that's what you had in Ron Conquer my belief and you didn't.

[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, I had, when direct TV had Sunday take it.

[SPEAKER_02]: I had some day ticket that was streamed.

[SPEAKER_02]: I think these people, cause I've also heard some recommendations to if you get to write TV as your cable provider, you can probably have a stream as well, but it's maybe it's similar to YouTube.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going down that road again.

[SPEAKER_02]: We've talked about direct TV, how many times over the years.

[SPEAKER_02]: The only reason why I had direct TV was because of the Sunday ticket.

[SPEAKER_02]: No Sunday ticket, no sale.

[SPEAKER_02]: There's no need for it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, [SPEAKER_01]: But I guess what people are saying, I think what people told me is that with the direct TV, then you don't need the Gotham app, because that's stuff's available on there.

[SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: But then it's a, then it is a streaming service, just like YouTube TV.

[SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I guess maybe it provides, [SPEAKER_02]: Um, the nicks or ranges would be great.

[SPEAKER_02]: I guess in theory.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, maybe I should look into it.

[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe I shouldn't just shine it immediately.

[SPEAKER_02]: I just I love YouTube TV.

[SPEAKER_02]: I love it got it that have game mixes doesn't have multibu direct TV stream.

[SPEAKER_01]: If it does, then maybe I imagine it does because it did for Sunday ticket.

[SPEAKER_01]: So to imagine maybe did you get you $20 rebate.

[SPEAKER_01]: Did you fill out yet?

[SPEAKER_02]: No, I saw an email that said that you will be getting a follow-up email which won't struck you on how to get the $20 rebate.

[SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.

[SPEAKER_02]: But it's $20.

[SPEAKER_02]: How many emails do I need to fill out?

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want the $20.

[SPEAKER_02]: I just want the experiments.

[SPEAKER_02]: Figure it at the F out.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't need the $20.

[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's amazing.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's less than this long.

[SPEAKER_01]: I cannot believe it.

[SPEAKER_01]: How long do you think it goes?

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know because I didn't think it would go.

[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't think they would.

[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't think they would ever blow off a Monday night game.

[SPEAKER_01]: And now they've blown off two.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now this week, you could, I mean, no one's going to care if they miss this week's game.

[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, locked the Monday night schedule isn't good now for a few weeks.

[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know if people [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think people are going to be pissed this piss and then I like no one's going to care if they missed the cowboys at the Raiders.

[SPEAKER_01]: The Monday night game after that, Carolina at San Fran.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's not terrible, but I don't know if people Monday night, well, he has where you here we go.

[SPEAKER_01]: If this goes to December 1st, here's where you got to have a problem.

[SPEAKER_01]: Giants at, I don't, but they show it locally.

[SPEAKER_01]: They show it locally when it's on Monday night.

[SPEAKER_02]: I think or wouldn't locally be ABC.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's right.

[SPEAKER_01]: Right, right.

[SPEAKER_01]: It couldn't, no, they don't do this isn't that I'm thinking of the Thursday night game.

[SPEAKER_01]: Right.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think the Thursday and Amazon.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, Monday night.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_02]: So giants Patriots to some, I mean, it's an awful game that no one cares if they miss it, but you for your job that that will be a problem for me that honestly, I'm not sure how I would get around that.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'll tell you what is not going to happen.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to get another service just to get it.

[SPEAKER_02]: So then the question becomes will I decide to shift and cancel YouTube TV after just figuring it out with my wife after having it for a year?

[SPEAKER_02]: We're finally starting to get the hang of it.

[SPEAKER_02]: Now I'd have to cancel that, get another...

For the Giants, if Jackson Darts playing maybe, I figure out a way, but I'm not going to go nuts.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'll miss the game.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so I just saw this from Martian.

[SPEAKER_01]: There is potential momentum for YouTube TV, he has been able to be finalized as a sides move closer.

[SPEAKER_01]: So if that got leaked to him, then that's getting settled in today.

[SPEAKER_01]: So this whole conversation was for not.

[SPEAKER_01]: But the one thing I would say is, I'm looking at, no, a rebate.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, now you can just turn the turn out as a way.

[SPEAKER_01]: Would you ever consider getting the antenna?

[SPEAKER_01]: I saw that I didn't know, it's not old school, but you got to put it in 10 on the roof.

[SPEAKER_01]: You could put it in your house, then you can get ABC.

[SPEAKER_02]: probably not.

[SPEAKER_02]: All right.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, again, I think you brought up a good point before.

[SPEAKER_02]: For me, where it would cross the line, I wouldn't go there with college football players, although I do want to watch this year because I'm back into it because of your college football pool that we do, but it wouldn't make me go nuts.

[SPEAKER_02]: NFL playoffs, that's where I draw the line and say, okay, well, I can't miss NFL playoffs.

[SPEAKER_02]: So if I need to buy an app like peacock to watch an NFL playoff game, I'm doing it for the month.

[SPEAKER_02]: If I needed to change to a different service to get it or buy the ESPN bundle, I would do that for the NFL playoff.

[SPEAKER_01]: Gotcha.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, if Martian tweeted that this moment, potential momentum for a deal, then the deal is going to happen soon.

[SPEAKER_01]: Do you have [SPEAKER_01]: I do, yes, I've had it, I've just, you know, they just announced they're raising their prices, so to what I don't know, because I don't have it, so I didn't pay attention.

[SPEAKER_01]: Um, all right, a couple of the things here, what has been, [SPEAKER_01]: I'm curious.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, let me just, let me say one, two things about college football quickly because I know you're not as into a fighter.

[SPEAKER_01]: What USC did Friday night was one of the most push-leak things I've ever seen in sports.

[SPEAKER_01]: Did you see what they did with the jersey numbers?

[SPEAKER_01]: I did, but, but how why they allowed to do it?

[SPEAKER_02]: So they took advantage of a loophole rule, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: They, and see, though, I don't know if it was the NCAA or the Big 10, but they came out the next day with a statement saying they should have been penalized.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like to me that just makes you look lose all respect for Lincoln Riley, not that I had like a ton from to begin with, but like the back look to be had the same number as the punter, third string quarterback, more number 80, brought them on the field, he threw a pass and then on the next possession, they punted and they bring out the same guy, a different guy wearing the same number punning.

[SPEAKER_01]: You look like a jerk.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's creative.

[SPEAKER_02]: Did you have the other side of it?

[SPEAKER_01]: No, I did not bet that gay, Max.

[SPEAKER_01]: No.

[SPEAKER_01]: Speaking of people looking like jerks, what's been the reaction on WFAN from jet fans to Aaron Glenn trying to act like?

[SPEAKER_01]: he's got a real team with real quarterbacks and that's bullying the media world you're going based off of him not choosing a quarterback or do you see the way to do it now there's two things one i'm not going to tell you who my story quarterback is Aaron you don't have us you have to you have one quarterback who starts who shouldn't be in the league and then you have another quarterback who's been a backup his whole career and you try to be cute and go i'm not going to tell you who's starting [SPEAKER_01]: And then that quarterback pissed for 54 yards against the bagels.

[SPEAKER_01]: So you're an embarrassment from that standpoint.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then you come out a week later and say, well, I'm not telling you about injuries, yes, rich semini.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Why?

[SPEAKER_01]: If you're 27, you're coaching a team that for its entire existence, outside it may be three or four years has been a laughing stock.

[SPEAKER_01]: Why are you instigating and antagonizing the New York media?

[SPEAKER_01]: Why?

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.

[SPEAKER_02]: I in the beginning didn't think it was that bad.

[SPEAKER_02]: He lost me with the quarterback stuff to your point.

[SPEAKER_02]: This is not Steve Young, Joe Montana.

[SPEAKER_02]: Just pick a quarterback day.

[SPEAKER_02]: Both think they both can't throw.

[SPEAKER_02]: Just name a guy and eliminate a potential problem.

[SPEAKER_02]: And now the semini thing to me makes it even worse.

[SPEAKER_02]: He's mad that semini have the report about Garrow Wilson and say, well, you didn't get it from me.

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, really, he's mad at whoever's leaking that info when he's building.

[SPEAKER_02]: And he's picking a fight with the media who [SPEAKER_01]: Right, if the media wants they could bury you because your team stinks and you'll look you'd have two wins right and that that's the thing he's going to get no leeway now Like you imagine next year if if they start out one in three next year like The media's just going to bury him every week.

[SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't care.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's clear The thing with semini though is so unnecessary from the standpoint of him just pure and tag like listen [SPEAKER_01]: It's completely deranged, but maybe you can defend the quarterback thing is him like using strategy like but he doesn't really he doesn't have a real quarterback he has no quarterback on the team was a real quarterback right and then what makes it seem worse is he thinks he's being a genius and coi I'm not going to tell you who the quarterback is and then his quarterback goes six for 11 for 54 yards right what so but okay but the thing with calling out rich semini [SPEAKER_01]: that's going to get you zero grace from the media now.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: What a dog.

[SPEAKER_02]: But he doesn't care.

[SPEAKER_02]: So now he's got to go out there and win.

[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think is going to happen?

[SPEAKER_02]: Is he going to be the one to turn the jets around and take this team out of the abyss?

[SPEAKER_02]: Not off anything I've seen.

[SPEAKER_02]: This one.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think he does.

[SPEAKER_01]: I bet he does have a quarterback.

[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know how you judge it.

[SPEAKER_01]: But even see what I have to believe is if he's behaving this way now, [SPEAKER_01]: then I'm gonna think he's gonna behave even worse when he gets a real quarterback because then he's really gonna think like he's running a real operator you're not running a real operation right now the team's a joke the franchise is a joke you don't have a quarterback it's not really he's treating it as if it were and I respect that I just don't think it's necessary to antagonize the media he literally is causing his own headaches right that's you know [SPEAKER_01]: Um, listen, I don't want to kill the guy because I wrote a whole column about it on Monday, but yeah, you're going to take us, right on the Gus Johnson call that's your guy.

[SPEAKER_01]: Listen, I have to be fair.

[SPEAKER_01]: This whole.

[SPEAKER_01]: This is my guy Kyle Brant did this at the top.

[SPEAKER_01]: He said I did a heel turn.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I loved Gus for many years.

[SPEAKER_01]: If I'm being honest, I don't think Gus is really that good anymore.

[SPEAKER_01]: I am sorry.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm allowed to have an opinion and [SPEAKER_01]: I need to be honest with the people who read my column and listen to my podcast.

[SPEAKER_01]: So that's...

[SPEAKER_01]: That call is not good.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now, what is he losing his voice or something?

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he was trying to act like he was losing.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he gets so excited.

[SPEAKER_01]: He lost his voice.

[SPEAKER_01]: But we were at a break.

[SPEAKER_01]: We were at a break.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it wasn't.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: But I've heard him do that before.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I now, for the record.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm not trying to rip him up.

[SPEAKER_02]: I couldn't care less.

[SPEAKER_02]: I have never been as big a fan of Gus Johnson as you have.

[SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[SPEAKER_02]: So now I think he's even worse.

[SPEAKER_02]: At least then he had the voice and it was to me it was too much, but now he's it just doesn't.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it doesn't do it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's a rough listen.

[SPEAKER_01]: Keep keeping on on that inbox.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't really.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you don't have an [SPEAKER_01]: Uh-huh.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, by the way, you said last week that you were going to watch the A-Roddoc.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Do you have a review?

[SPEAKER_02]: I loved it.

[SPEAKER_01]: You, I did you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Is it, wait, one how many episodes is it?

[SPEAKER_01]: One or more than one?

[SPEAKER_02]: one episode of the time three weeks.

[SPEAKER_02]: So the next one is going to be on Thursday episode two.

[SPEAKER_02]: I wish it was in, you know, just they had all three out there, but it's a reminder to how he came up.

[SPEAKER_02]: Also, I'm learning a little bit about the era of situation.

[SPEAKER_02]: We're getting in depth on his father and the upbringing and a lot of stuff.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I am enjoying it myself.

[SPEAKER_02]: I think you should watch it.

[SPEAKER_02]: So, so there's three episodes you've watched one and you're like that's I can't wait to watch the next one yet even my wife was into it So it's something that is beyond just the baseball story.

[SPEAKER_02]: He's of he you call odd or whatever.

[SPEAKER_01]: He is a fascinating individual All right Let me go here Because I just I just just I just discussed this with Kyle brand.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I want to get your take [SPEAKER_01]: The thing that is at the top of my to watch list that I will absolutely 1,000% watch before we take next week is the John candy doc on Amazon Prime to Salacada have any interest in it or do you not care about John.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm trying to think of what that'll happen.

[SPEAKER_02]: I either started it and stopped or watched it and don't remember.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's just good.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that shows you my brain is [SPEAKER_02]: But I liked it, I think you should watch it.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I'm 100% watching that.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: But I don't remember like loving it.

[SPEAKER_02]: I remember watching it as more of just like it was on.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was cool to check out reminisce about some of the movies.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's the worst recommendation for a show that I've ever heard in my life.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we talked about this a couple of weeks ago.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're taping this on Wednesday.

[SPEAKER_01]: Bye, comes out on Thursday.

[SPEAKER_01]: I believe it's out now.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think came out today.

[SPEAKER_01]: Came out this morning is the Eddie Murphy doc.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, on Netflix.

[SPEAKER_01]: I believe it's Netflix.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I gotta watch that.

[SPEAKER_01]: That I'll do John candy first.

[SPEAKER_01]: Then I'll do the Eddie Murphy.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'll do all watched by the time we tape next week.

[SPEAKER_02]: Did you see the Ben Stiller one?

[SPEAKER_02]: Mira and no, I did not.

[SPEAKER_02]: I that I loved.

[SPEAKER_02]: And what is that on, do you know, um, I don't I can't keep.

[SPEAKER_01]: Was that about spent still?

[SPEAKER_01]: It's about his parents, right?

[SPEAKER_02]: Correct.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: That that I would deem a must watch.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't.

[SPEAKER_02]: I wish I remembered the candy thing.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it was bad.

[SPEAKER_02]: Because I remember watching it and then making some notes like, Oh, what are your favorite John candy movies?

[SPEAKER_02]: I was maybe going to do that on the show.

[SPEAKER_02]: So I was into it.

[SPEAKER_02]: But the still don't want hit me more.

[SPEAKER_02]: That was I thought a tremendous documentary.

[SPEAKER_01]: So, is it been still narrating the doc about his parents?

[SPEAKER_02]: Him, yeah, him and his sister narrated, they have incredible footage.

[SPEAKER_02]: His parents documented it and saved basically their entire lives.

[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't know all that about his parents.

[SPEAKER_02]: So you learn a lot there and obviously we know Jerry stole it from Scienceville.

[SPEAKER_02]: What was what I was saying.

[SPEAKER_02]: Do they do a lot of Sciencefeld?

[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I don't know if I would say a lot, but enough enough to satisfy that.

[SPEAKER_02]: It calmer everything.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's so funny.

[SPEAKER_01]: You bring that up because it was it was last night.

[SPEAKER_01]: I was literally doing my scroll through TikTok.

[SPEAKER_01]: And a video came up of someone interviewing Julia Louie Dreyfus and playing the clip for her of that famous blooper with her and Jerry Stiller about you want to be to be.

[SPEAKER_01]: You want, yeah, yeah, yeah, and Julia can't.

[SPEAKER_01]: Julia couldn't even keep it together watching the, you know, the, yeah, the blooper.

[SPEAKER_01]: So it's funny you put that one on your list.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, that'll be third on the list.

[SPEAKER_01]: Alright, there was something else with TV that I wanted to mention, and I can't remember, but it's okay, I didn't write it down.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know what it is?

[SPEAKER_01]: I scroll through TikTok, I see all this shit and I'm like, oh, I should bring that up to sound.

[SPEAKER_02]: You're gonna make notes.

[SPEAKER_02]: I do it in my phone all the time, notes.

[SPEAKER_01]: I know, I'm old, I use a pen.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, if I don't have a pen near me, I'm not writing it down.

[SPEAKER_01]: I am completely lost with the notes app like I don't use it properly like I feel like I put something like okay, so you Okay, so you watch stuff and put things in the notes app on your phone.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, or or like for something if I'm going to talk about on the show I make a note of it.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh John Candy show Ben still a show whatever or whatever little note that I want to add to it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, but now are your notes organized or is it all haphazard [SPEAKER_02]: I need to take a weekend and clean it up a little bit.

[SPEAKER_02]: There's stopping there that I didn't get to from months ago, if not years ago.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's my thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's like an OCD thing where like I don't like that the notes app is all haphazard.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: So then I don't want to use it at all.

[SPEAKER_02]: I understand that I could not live without it.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's the only way that I function to put all my ideas down or things that pop it in my head.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know what I use, I mean, I listen.

[SPEAKER_01]: I use the notes apps for a few things, but the main thing is that's why I like I usually put all the restaurants that I want to try because I'm a fat fuck.

[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, that's good.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's just what I want to be doing.

[SPEAKER_01]: A note pad page.

[SPEAKER_01]: Just what I need to be doing.

[SPEAKER_02]: I got all my passwords to do list.

[SPEAKER_01]: What's on the to-do list?

[SPEAKER_01]: What's the number one thing on the to-do list?

[SPEAKER_02]: I got a coal advance water and paid the bill.

[SPEAKER_02]: They charge me for something.

[SPEAKER_02]: I shouldn't have got charged for.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's the number one thing on there.

[SPEAKER_01]: I have a question.

[SPEAKER_01]: I have a question.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'd love to ask, but I don't want to open Pandora's box.

[SPEAKER_01]: But I think, again, something you could pass off to someone else.

[SPEAKER_02]: I take control of all that stuff.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay.

[SPEAKER_02]: Just saying your work all day, I thought about it, relinquishing control, be careful, be careful.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and then I just said, you know what, I'd rather be in control.

[SPEAKER_02]: I could maybe share some of the responsibility, but I'd rather, let me just handle it.

[SPEAKER_02]: I got it.

[SPEAKER_01]: When it comes to the bills, all me, yeah, all you, yeah, interesting, all right.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'll make, well, see, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and [SPEAKER_01]: If it was reversed, maybe the other person would fill out the rebate and get your $20 from you to the tip.

[SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[SPEAKER_02]: I got to be on top of all those.

[SPEAKER_02]: My OCD.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: You're just going to blow off the $20.

[SPEAKER_02]: No, if I get the email, I'll do it.

[SPEAKER_02]: But I don't like the email saying stay tuned for the follow-up email with instructions on how to fill out for your $20 rebate.

[SPEAKER_02]: This is already two steps beyond where I need to go.

[SPEAKER_02]: put the $20 back in my account.

[SPEAKER_02]: You can take it pretty easily every month.

[SPEAKER_02]: I haven't even looked at it.

[SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[SPEAKER_02]: 20 bucks back in there.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'll end the podcast by just saying this.

[SPEAKER_01]: I love Verizon files.

[SPEAKER_02]: I would love the opportunity to love Verizon files.

[SPEAKER_01]: All right.

[SPEAKER_01]: So hang in there.

[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see you next week.

[SPEAKER_02]: All right.

[SPEAKER_02]: Talk to you later.
