Episode Description

"Sustainability is about living within our planetary boundaries"... and not going mad doing it.

This episode is all about imperfect activism, mental health and how to overcome climate anxiety.

Kate Chambers is an active volunteer with 2050 Climate Group, a youth-led climate charity empowering 18-35 year olds living and working in Scotland to take climate action in ways that are meaningful to them. Since 2017, Kate has supported 2050 with branding, communications and growing the charity's network. She was an integral part of the operational team delivering The Group’s flagship Young Leaders Development Programme before becoming a charity Trustee in 2020.

Kate, alongside out host Kara Weekes, unpacks the importance of community in taking action against climate change, what is meant by sustainability and how to deal with climate anxiety.

It is a great episode that we hope will equip you with ways to take action, so grab a warm cup of tea and some snacks and enjoy!
