Episode Transcript

Speaker 1

We found a big three X, probably about between twenty five thirty feet tall, and I turned to everyone and they were telling me, oh, this is made by these bigfore creatures and it means danger warning to not cross.

This is our territory.

So I turned to everyone and said, I'm going to hang up a hammock tent and I'm going to sleep underneath the X.

And right away everyone's like, oh, you're crazy.

I mean, you know, you're basically going to push the buttons.

Being a skeptic, I was like, and I'm wind there in my hammot tent.

It's probably about one in the morning, and I'm lying there and I could hear like howls way off in the distance, and then I guess I kind of fell asleep, and then all of a sudden it was snapped, and I was like, oh, and I woke up.

I'm like, I'm listening, and I hear frinch, clinch, clinch, and it's walking towards me.

Every time it took a step because feel the vibration, and all of a sudden it grunted in my ear, so huh, and the vibration right through me and I start shaking uncontrollably.

Speaker 2

This is Bigfoot Crossroads.

My name is Matt and joining me is Jason Kinsey.

You may have heard that name before if you keep up with bigfoot stuff.

He's been working on an ongoing documentary film series searching for Sasquatch for quite a while.

Speaker 1

Now.

Speaker 2

Uh, first off, Jason, thanks for joining.

Speaker 1

Me any thanks, I'm glad to be here.

Thanks having me.

Speaker 2

Yeah, for sure.

So I guess the first question, how did you get interested in the subject of Sasquatch.

Speaker 1

Well, I've always known about sasquats, even as a even as a child, like as a teenager.

We always hear the whispers of sasquats because I live in British Columbia and only an hour and a half away from Harrison Hot Springs, Wow, which is epicenter to all the Bigfoot and sasquats sightings anywhere.

Yeah, and so you know, I know these mountains quite well.

And growing up, you know, you always we get hiking and stuff and go camping.

It's always like a campfire story.

But I really got into it after twenty nineteen.

I used to be an animal folk general, so I used to travel all over the world and meet people that had exotic animals as pets, and so I used to photograph and interview the owners that.

Speaker 3

Had like tigers and bears, alligators, make monkeys, kangaroos, name it, all kinds of different pets.

Speaker 1

And I learned about animal behavior.

And then twenty nineteen, when the world shut down, when the world stopped reading, I wasn't able to do many animal adventures.

And it's another website that I have or I had, and I did that for twenty five years.

It's called Jason Kensey's Animal Adventures and four hundred episodes of that.

Now everything stopped, so I wasn't able to do any of that.

And I was with a buddy of mine and I was thanking to him around a fire.

I was like, what am I going to do?

I mean, I can't, I can't do my animal stuff.

I mean this sucks and my bodies kind of joke to me.

Well, I wanted me to do Sasquats.

Maybe he's an animal of some kind.

And I was like we all laughed, like I laughed, and then I took a step back, and I thought, you know, what might be on to something.

Maybe Sasquats is an animal of some kind.

And me knowing animals and living in this beautiful area.

I decided I knew a couple of people who had I led to me, have seen u Sasquats, and so I went and interviewed them.

First I talked to them, and then I led me to another person, and then in turn it led me to the First Nations people way up by Headley, and they pointed me into the direction of where they believed that the Sasquats people live, and so I went hiking.

I went to the helicopter into the area I got dropped in and I was there for a few days.

And at one point I found a lake in the middle of the mountains and I had a groan.

So when I had groaned the lake, I could clearly see hundreds of these giant footprints walking through this lake.

And you know, me being a skeptic, I was a twenty percent believer in Sasquats.

And on the ground like where I was standing, when I looked into the water, I could clearly see the footprints and the toes.

I blew my mind and I took that footage to the First Nation people and they told me that I had found the migration path of the Sasquats people of Alaska all the way to California.

Wow, that was exciting.

And I found trees that were ripped ripped up and turned to play down.

I found other footprints in the mud, yelled and schemes, and then I decided to put that into a documentary called Searching Sasquats and yeah, and when I launched it, it went borrow.

I think it's like four hundred thousand views now, and people started contacting me other researchers and asking me if I wanted to come speak at their conference about, you know, how I filmed it, and just to talk about my experiences.

And now I decided to do a second one, and this time was in the snow.

And then then the one that had the most activity was in the up of missing.

Speaker 2

Whenever you first went out there and you found the tracks, like you said, you were a skeptic at the time, So what was going through your mind.

Was it just that epiphany right then and there that these things are real or were you still kind of reluctant to accept it.

Speaker 1

Well, yeah, here's the thing I really need to see.

I need to see one in like pretty much broad daylight, or at least twenty feet away with my flashlight lighting it up before I can one hundred percent believe that these creatures live or are real.

And yeah, footprints, you know, like who's stomping around out there with Like I found footprints that were twenty one inches and five inches across.

So it's you know, I went, it wasn't there.

I think it went when I did my second one, my second documentary, after I experienced some facing stuff, then I moved out from twenty percent to probably thirty percent.

And then in Michigan there was crazy stuff that happened in Michigan.

You know, I researched all over North America.

I've been to at least at least twelve different states and researching, and I've I think the most activity I found has been in the up of Michigan.

Speaker 2

For sir, why do you think that is?

Speaker 1

I don't know.

I don't know why Michigan why.

I mean, I know where we're where we were.

There's a lot of Indian mounds out there, and I know Michigan has a huge history of wars to the Civil War, and you know a lot of death and destructives.

You know, stuff has happened over the years, and it's also right underneath you know Ontario.

You know, Michigan's like right there, and you know Ontario has a lot of forest.

Speaker 2

Also, what kind of activity were you experiencing a Michigan that kind of separated it.

Speaker 1

Yeah, So when I went up to Michigan, I went I would speak, I when spoke at a a big fort confidence and they took me out after the conference for about I think I was out there for five days in the up and right away when we got out there, there was howls.

There was yells that we could hear like literally, plus as we pulled up, you could hear like the wood knock as if they were warning, hey, there's visitors coming.

That We found a big three X where on ATV's going through and I look over his shining three X and it was probably about between twenty five thirty feet tall and about at least three feet in diameter, like the base of the trees.

And one tree was still living, meaning one tree was still growing and looked like it was kind of pushed over and the other one, the other tree was moved from a different area, like picked up and moved and then leaned on the other one forming a big X.

And then there was another tree that was lying on top of it, and I turned to everyone and they were telling me, oh, this is made by these before creatures and it means danger warning to knock from there's our territory.

So I turned to everyone and said, okay, well I think i I'm gonna I'm gonna hang up a hammock tent and I'm going to sleep underneath the sex.

And right away everyone's like, okay, you're you're crazy.

I mean, you know, you're You're basically going to push their buttons, you know, and up being a skeptic, I was like, I'm like I should be okay.

So so that night, so everybody was camping about probably about thirty yards away on the other side of the trail, and so here on I'm in for the night and I'm lying there in my hammock tent.

It's probably about one in the morning, and I'm lying there and I could hear like howls way off in the distance.

And it wasn't coyote howls because they weren't yipp yep yep there were You could just hear like these howls from way way in the distance.

And then I guess I kind of fell asleep and then all of a sudden it was snap, and I was like oh, and I woke up.

I'm like oh, and I'm listening and I hear crunch, crunch, crunch, and it's walking towards me, and any time it took a step, you can feel the vibration off the string that was tied to the trees, and it was like crunch, crunch, and I'm I'm lying and I'm I'm shaking and I'm not thinking that back, but I'm like, going, okay for the bear or maybe a wall peg, a cooler, like I'm thinking of this in my head and crunch, crunch, crunch.

I'm listening, and all of a sudden it grunted in my ear and the vibration went right through me and I started shaking uncontrollably, and I'm like oh, and yes, Like I don't know why it was, so I was fel a little stupid because I'm trying to I was shaking so bad that I'm trying to stop myself from shaking, and it was hurting.

It was hurting me because I was trying to stop myself shaking, and I had my camera between my legs, my video camera, so I'm like, I'm thinking if I don't move, I won't know I'm here.

And it's about five feet from me.

And then all of a sudden and all I'm thinking to myself of I'm my god, this is really a big funt.

I'm only kind of done up like a burrito.

Yeah, So I'm like, oh God, I wish I had brought some hot sauce.

I would just if I'm going to go down, I'm going to take it with me.

I want to just smell myself of stuff.

And all of a sudden, it turned and it started walking away, and like I said, I just crunched crince walk away.

I could feel every step that vibrason that was off, like on the string.

That was the scary part.

And it was like crunch, crimes, crins, and nothing it stopped.

So I yelled out, I'm like, David, David, is that you because and I hear Jason, jeez, what is it?

I'm here, And I ends up really fast, and I jumped out of my hamm at tent and I ran around and one of the one of the researchers was up against the tree about twenty feet away, all bundled up and like he had slipped the night he had another hamit tent and he was trying to sleep and he was just sleeping, and I'm like, dude, were you just walking around without you He's like, no, Jay, I was sleeping and telling you out my name.

I'm like, just got it here you.

So we looked around for like half an hour for footprints or anything, but the gram was so hard and it just didn't leave any any marks.

And I'm still not saying it was a big foot.

But the next night one of the other recess so we went back to camp like crossed over the next morning.

Let me tell you, I didn't sleep very well that night.

Speaker 2

Yeah, I don't imagine.

Speaker 1

Yeah.

We told everyone what happened, and I felt that, you know, a couple of the guys was like Jasons lying, he's just trying to fit in with all of us.

It's his birth time here, and you know first, you know, it's really new at Sasquats, and you know, Jason's just doing it for attention until one of the senior seasoned researchers had walked over there the next night to gather a recorder or some equipment and not saying right, that was right next to where we were and something comes running back and he's like, oh, like got Jason's right, I just got grunted that too, from from the darkness.

It really it started him and he was really shaken after that, so he didn't go by himself anymore.

It was just but yeah, it was.

There was other stuff that happened to I.

I saw what I thought was like maybe a spider crawl of this thing that went across the trail.

It was massive.

Scared the bully the Jesus on me.

Speaker 2

And I mean, here you are provoking, trying to you know, if they're out here, I want to see one.

I'm going to do what I can to see one.

You're a professional photographer, you have your camera ready and you never got a shot off.

Speaker 1

No.

No, So if you know what a Hammi tenth looks like, it has a had a fly.

I had a flight like a fly, like a mosquito netting over top.

So even though I could I couldn't see, I couldn't see through it.

One of the things you have to kind of press a hat against it.

But in that situation, I wouldn't say if it was a bear or if it was a like I was thinking if I stayed still, maybe whatever it is, we'll think I'm not here and I would just terrified.

And yeah, it's it's weird because then you say, yeah, I'm just gonna go and just grab my hand.

I mean Michigan.

Was another time in Michigan where I left everyone and walked away from them, and I walked around some bushes and they're standing in front of me was this creature and it was about seventeet tall, and you just see the eye sine just staring at me.

And this time I had my camera, my video camera, and my video camera is on, but it wasn't recording.

And as I'm standing there, I'm about twenty feet away, twenty five feet and all I'm seeing is the eye shine.

And so i had my video camera in my hand pointing in that direction.

And I've heard over the years how people they would see the creature and as soon as they looked down for a second and look back up, it's gone.

So my eyes were glued onto it and it caught me off guard.

So I'm like, oh my gosh, and so can picture me holding my video camera.

I'm staring at this thing and my thumb is going my thumb is trying to find the little red button on top.

I'm like, oh, my thumb's going back and forth, whatever fucking button.

And I pushed the red button for record, and in that half a second from a tiny pushed the record button to when it starts recording.

The thing had dropped down, like low to the ground and went behind some bushes and it just it just bobbed its head back and forth like it was looking at me like look the like looking at me like who are you?

What are you doing?

And I'm standing there going please don't eat me, please.

I taste terrible.

I have no no meat on me, please.

And all I'm thinking is if this is a young one, that the parents were going to come up behind me and just hit me on the you know, hit me on the top of the had it, and I'd be dead.

And so I'm preparing myself for that, and so I have that footage.

So I recorded it, and I'm talking in fourt too, and so yeah, you see the eyes of it as it's bouncing.

It is like its heads bobbing back and forth like behind some bushes.

It's really faky.

Speaker 2

Is that the one you were talking about?

Spider crawling.

Speaker 1

No, no, no, that was that this This happened a year later.

I went back to mission a year later, and that's when that happened with the spider crawl.

That was the next night from the hammock tent.

Speaker 2

Spider crawling wasn't really talked about very much.

This isn't meant as a brag or anything, but my old podcast, big Foot out Law Radio that I had with a couple of guys named Baron Kombo, we were actually some of the first people to ever talk about that because it was something that you know, we had experienced and we knew people that had experienced it.

And then of course, you know, it became popular after Wes Germer talked about it and so like, yeah, I'm always intrigued to hear about that.

So what was your spider crawling encounter?

Speaker 1

Like?

So the next night, I'm sitting around the campfire with everyone and one of the researchers comes locking up.

He's like, okay, points to the researcher next to me and goes, okay, let's go, let's go get It's nighttime now, right, It's probably about eleven at night.

He's like, okay, let's go and retrieved the recorder, but they placed about half an hour into the forest.

A half an hour walk into the forest and the research and actually he's like, no, I'm not going there, are you kidding me?

Look how dark and spooky that is.

No, no, no, I'm staying here by the fire.

And so the researcher was like kind of disappointed.

As how I jump up.

I said, I'll go.

He's like, really, he's like, got to look to it.

So I got my video turning room off.

But walking down the trail now, the trail is decommissioned logging road, and we're walking down this logging road which has all gon over like there were there were grass that was three feet tall in some parts.

And as we're walking for ten minutes, we're walking now and I'm videotaping all the tree breaks.

So there's all I had learned about the tree breaks where they would twist the branches and then break them, like like almost a three hundred and sixty degree break, like twist and then break.

And there were some that were, you know, two inches in diameter, like pretty thick branches, and then there were ones that were like no bigger than a pencil.

And I was told that as the bigfoots are walking, they just grab hold, twist and move on as if they're leaving a trail.

So I was fascinated about this.

So I'm looking, I'm filming, I'm going up and forming all these tree brakes, and as we're walking and clearly they're all you know, a lot of them are all like, you know, seven feet high, and so I had to reach rap and it's and we get to the very end, and we we got got spooky, and it got even speech as we got further away and got deeper into the forest, and we collected the recorder and we started walking back and we're seeing wolf tracks and we're seeing cougar tracks all over the place.

And as we're walking, we're walking.

We're walking back now and about about ten minutes back.

Uh.

We as we're walking, I'm seeing these two tree brakes in the middle of the trail hanging.

Speaker 2

And I'm like, hmmm, the trail you were just on?

Speaker 1

Yeah, yeah, yah, Like we had basically went one way, got the recorder, turned around, and started walking back.

And as we're walking back, we see these two tree drinks hanging directly over the trail, and I turned to uh, Blake and I'm like, hey, do you see that.

I don't remember those because I was filming them all to walk up and the sap in the tree is still dripping.

I get still wet.

It had just happened, and I'm filming it and I'm like going, oh my gosh, that's good.

So we crack something like something stepped on something behind us, and we jumped and we turned around really fast and we're looking.

We're looking at the way we just came and there standing in the middle of the trail.

It came walking out and you could see the eyes shine as it's staring at us, and it's it looks like it's about nine feet tall.

And I have my video camera, so I'm trying to film it.

My camera's going in and out of focus, and we could see I could see the eyes and I'm saying and I'm like, oh my gosh, Oh my gosh, I see the eyes.

I see guys.

And Blake is like, okay, Jay, don't run, and I'm like, don't run.

A little bit insulted.

I'm like, where am I going to go?

I'm in the middle of the flicking wilderness.

These creets are gonna kill us.

And they're just gonna kill us.

I mean, where am I gonna go?

We either we pulp die together or we just pretend that we fight and we died that way.

Like every is really improsc because I'm like, I'm not going to run, I'm shaking, I'm looking and the walkiness, and then all of a sudden, it closed its eyes and it must have took a step back, because it opened its eyes again about a minute later, and it was further back, and it's as if it was just outside of the infrared beam of light from my from my my, uh my video camera, And all of a sudden, another one comes walking out from the side, and it's much shorter, probably seven feet, and it looked that it just was staring at us.

And as we're staring, Blake is like, Jane, listen, and we could hear crack crack crack crack, like things walking on either side of us, and Blake is like, I think there's a few of them.

And I'm like, okay, okay, and I'm like, I mean we're walking us for ten minutes, like I'm filming the whole thing.

I'm filming, and I'm we're watching this, and then all of a sudden, they either closed their eyes or they turned their their face and walked off.

And as soon as they walked off, we had guts and we kind of walked really fast up there to that spot.

And you have to understand, all around us was really thick forest.

You couldn't just walk into the forest because it was so thick except for the spot where they were standing.

Literally right where they were standing, when the Tarrian looked to the left, actually could see a big gap where something big could just walk right through.

And then we walked back to the branch that was broken, like the two branches that were broke, twisted and broken, and we're looking at it, and I'm like, and Blake's like, I think, I think they did this on purpose to stop us.

For some reason, they wanted us to see this.

They wanted us to stop.

And Blake had turned around and started water and kind of turned and was looking at where looking in the direction of where those two creatures were.

And then I pretended to do a dance move where I took a step forward and fled around like it's hard, like I imagine, I pretend to take a couple of steps forward and without moving my legs I just twist and turn around like in one motion, and all they did that.

All I did that about twenty feet away.

It was it was standing there behind a tree, and I guess I caught it off guard and it dropped to the ground.

And then I think there was a second one that was behind that too, and it just took a step behind the tree.

Well, I'm standing there and my camera, my video camera was facing me because I was talking on camera because for in like ten minutes, I was filming the other direction, and because I was filming another documentary that I needed to talk on camera to explain what was going on.

And the light off the display on my eyes, my eyes was like because of the light my pupils, I couldn't see in the darkness very well.

But I could see the shape and it dropped to the ground and to just look like a giant spider eye yelled crab.

But it was like it went across And here's the thing that purified me.

The head did not bounce.

It was like it was on a stabilization or a gimbal, like it was smooth as butter and I went across and were like boot boomed and it was gone and I remember the eyes, the sign from the eyes stared at me the entire time.

It didn't even take its eyes off me.

As I went across.

I'm walking trying to get closer and to look at it, and I said, I am to steal backwards.

It scared me and then I yelled, oh my god, oh my god.

And Blake said, well, well, why can I explain what just happened?

And so as we were walking over my shoulders, so I was talking on camera after we kind of calmed down about five minutes.

I'm talking as we're walking, and you literally see over my shoulder about five feet behind me, you see the eye sign way like above above me, about maybe seven or eight feet and it's looking at me, and you see the eye sign.

And I did not see this until two months later when I was at home on the computer editing Wow.

And when I saw the eye shinne, I was like, oh my god.

This just refers me that I wasn't going completely crazy, because you know, when you get scared out there, your imagination can kind of take control, oh for sure, and you start you see stuff that it's not really there.

But on camera, when I saw that behind me, and then and then it just it hit me.

I'm like, my god, that they were so close to me.

It could just reached out and like shock me saying you didn't look like then God who knows.

But yeah, we went all the way back to camp and we explained to everyone and then it GE's crazy, like they get crazy, it gets it gets crazy.

I'm sitting around the campfire.

This is probably an hour after we got back.

I'm with everyone.

It's about I want to say, twelve of us.

We're all sitting around and there was twelve of us in total.

Two of the guys was out by on the trail about twenty five feet away.

Their backs are to the vehicles.

The vehicles are on the trail and we're in the forest about twenty five feet but there we had.

We had a tens up and everything, and we're sitting around the campfire.

I had a walkie talkie and I hear Jason, Jason, get over here.

There's something walking you guys, something from a tree.

It's standing bend a tree.

And I'm like, really, hmm, okay, and I go walking over and I'm stumbling through the for right because there's no trail at this point, Like you know I'm going through and I get over to David.

I'm like, hey, what what what is?

What do you see?

He's like, it's behind that tree.

And he has military style thermo, like one of the big military huh what do you call it?

Binoculars, and he's looking, he's looking at him and they're like thirty dollars like these the song was the video on him started stopped recording like it did not work.

The recording somehow the recording it malfunctioned.

And that was at the start of this expedition.

And so he's looking and he moves the glasses off his eyes really slow, and I go and I take it and I look, and sure enough, I see that there is something quite hot standing behind a tree and the tree is blocking it.

But I see the back of it, and I see a bit of the front of it, and the trees the tree is tobably about.

I want to say, the tree is probably about two feet in diameter.

And so I see a bit of the back and I see a bit of the front, and it is staring.

It's about twenty feet away and it's off to the side and it's staring at the campfire where all the guys are where everyone was sitting and they're all still there.

So I said, okay, David, I'm going to walk out about five feet.

Then I'm going to walk through the forest and I'm going to I'm going to not scare it, but I'm going to kind of push it out.

I'm going to walk towards it so it moves out behind the tree and you can see what it is.

So I did that.

I turned my I had my camera on, but I had put the I had record.

I was recording and I didn't want to have any light, so no flash light.

And I put the LCD light the door and I start walking to the forest and I'm stumbling, like there's logs on the I'm like trying up to break my ankle.

As I'm going through and i'm walking, I can hear whatever it is.

I could hear moving, and I'm like, I'm about twenty feet from David, and there's another guy there too, And then I was about like I went off to the side and I walked sideways, like kind of towards it.

I'm trying to, you know, kind of puts it out for David to see it.

And I get about and I'm terrified, right because I had just experienced the spider call thing, and I was like, Okay, I'm walking, I can't see nothing.

I'm like scared, and I go, David, tell me what's going on.

I hear it moving, David.

David, he wasn't answering me.

And I'm like, David, what's going on?

And He's like it it walked away.

I'm like you, you would never believe what this creature did.

You would never believe me.

And you know, for everyone that does listen to this podcast, and I will understand you.

Guys if you say, yeah, Jason's full of it, for sure, I will understand that.

I will not blame you when I tell you what this creature did.

You don't know what this creature did.

Absolutely, this creature.

This creature walked away, but instead of getting pushed off to the side, it literally used the tree as cover.

It walked out straight, leaving you in the tree to block it from David's where David was standing, and I was to the side of it, like you think, like I would have walked towards it from the side, and they would as if it knew I couldn't see it.

Wow, as if it knew I couldn't see it, and I just it just took its intelligence, whatever it is, and yeah, so that was that was that for that.

When I walked back to David and said, so, what happened?

Did you see what it was?

I heard it moving, He's like, no, this is what it did.

I'm like, what are you kidding me?

I'm like, yeah, yeah, there's a you know, there's a lot of stuff that's happened over the years, some crazy stuff, and I've got some really good stuff on.

Speaker 2

Can you mentioned the thermal device the recording not working, And that's obviously something I'm sure you've heard of, you know, equipment malfunctioning.

Have you experienced that with your own equipment?

Speaker 1

So I had bought a brand new Galaxy phone two weeks before I went on this expedition in Michigan.

This same that same experience, the same thing with the spider call all that.

When I got out there, the camera, the camera on my phone did not work.

I was fuming, like I was cussing.

I was saying to everyone, I'm like, I just got the phone.

It cost me an eight hundred dollars.

I'm like, I can't believe that.

I'm going to walk in there.

When I get back, I'm like, why did you give me such a crap phone?

Like the camera does not work, and I, you know, because I wanted to take pictures of just whatever, like pitches, the dolls, you know, like pictures of me just doing stuff like nothing.

You know, the camera is not the best for you know, especially nighttime stuff.

But when I got back, when I got off the plane going back home to Vancouver, as soon as I got back, my camera started working again as if it was as if it never but there was nothing wrong with it.

But it would not work when I was there, did not work.

I had to use someone else's phone to do some slow slow motion video with their phone because they had the exact same phone as me, exact same and so you know, and I would say, hey, can I use your phone?

I have a brand new phone, but for some reason it doesn't work.

Yeah, but no life, that's yeah, that really happened.

I've when I was in Minnesota and one of the first Nations guys, they gave me a lollipop.

And this lollipop I gave u the biggest lollipop I've ever seen in my life.

Like it was like it was like the loripop itself, like the candy was.

The round candy was about the size of a of a of a hardball like for baseball, looked like a giant and it was wrapped up in plastics wrap.

And they told me, well, if you go down that trail, there's kind of like a gifting like a gifting tree.

So went with a buddy of mine, another researcher, walked down the trail and there, you know, we see this tree and there's a knot like a like a little hole in the tree.

So I go and I put the I put the the the lollipop into the hole.

But yet you know it's so big that I won't fit in the hole, like the candy itself, So I just put it in the hole.

I had a tree camp with me, and I put it up right across from it, and before I left, I yelled out into the forest I said, hey, this is for us half class, and if you don't like it, please don't throw it away.

I will eat it.

And then we walked off.

So then the next night I came back and as we're walking up to it, and I think this comment was that night, walked up to it and it was gone, and I'm like, oh, find a lad.

I was hoping to eat it myself, and my buddy's like, no, Jay, it's on the ground.

I look down and behind me yet there was and I pick it up and I'm like, huh, has a little bit of a nibble taken on the plastic?

A little small?

I'm like, going a chip monk, either a chipmunk or you know, maybe a bird.

Like cool.

So I took down the tree camp and the tree cam of brand new, in fact, the first thing since people they gave it to me as a gift, and uh yeah, I put it in my car and I didn't look at any of the footage.

When I got back home and I'm going through all my footage.

I'm downloading everything onto uh I'm downloading aything onto my computer.

And I'm excited, and I'm going through the footage on the tree camp and I'm going to each photo and I see where I'm like walking and I see him putting up the tree can, and I'm thinking, okay, this is great, all right.

I'm excited to see the critter because I like tip monks and the squirrels and stuff like you know, that's and I get to the next the next picture is going to be what what you know to a fight out of the candidate?

Right, the file was corrupt, corrupted, it was completely corrupted.

There was nothing, nothing on.

It was just completely it would not open, it was just erupted.

Yet the next picture after that was me taking it down.

What the So there was twenty five pictures.

Every picture was good except for that one picture that would have showed me what what what to compte out of the candy.

I was so mad.

I could not believe it.

I stood there, I sat there in my chair, my editing, going what what is the odds of it?

What?

Okay?

There is something?

Okay, so this is still stage.

So I'm thinking, well, I get some psyche the bigfore creatures have some way to manipulate electromagnetic you know for electronics, like either they use their infrasound or they have some kind of a vibration something, there's something there.

Because that was just too odd.

Speaker 2

I mean, You've talked to a lot of people and started out into this project as approaching it from the standpoint of a you know, animal photographer, and maybe these things are animals.

Obviously you've heard accounts of these things being much more than animals.

So where are you at with it in your own opinion at this point?

Speaker 1

So I've so out of all the experiences I've had, and all eyewitnesses I've talked to, and even the ones that talk about portals UFOs seeing urofos and its creatures walking out walking out of portals, and so when I go into I think when I do when so someone says, do you think they can be invisible?

And so I think to myself, as an animal expert, is there an animal out there that us having ability of cloaking or maybe being invisible?

And I'm thinking, yes, there is.

Well, the cutterfish and the octopus is one of the best camouflage in the world.

They literally can almost make themselves look like carl you know.

And then you've got the camouflage which is the chameleon, the stone fish, even the stick the stick pug, you know, they have extreme camouflage.

So I think, Okay, So if they can do it, then maybe sasquats has that kind of ability of being able to either like polar bears.

The polar bears have transluscent they have two coats, they have fur, and they have hair and you know their hair is transluscent.

But what they do is they can shift the hair on their body so when the sunlight hits it at a certain angle, they look they almost disappear, like they've got good camouflage.

That you could be staring at a polar bear and even without you looking away, they can literally just almost disappear themselves because the way they can.

You know, how dogs can lift their hair when they're about to attack or if they're nervous, don't Polar bears have a way of moving their hair in a way where the light catches it.

So I'm like, I wonder if sasquats can do something similar.

So my belief is that golfquats is a flesh and blood creature with abilities that are far that are just unbelievable.

They have some special abilities that far reaches anything that we could comprehend, you know, like, for all we know, they could just hug a tree and basically form to look like part of that tree.

Speaker 2

I was just going to ask, have you had any paranormal experiences of yourself while out in the field?

Speaker 1

Oh, all the time, Like I'm still trying of I'm still trying to figure out I'm still trying to figure out the orbs because I see these these orbs, these lights and they are just going through the forest and they're moving.

And it's not flashlights, right, they're not flass lights.

Because I'm walking around and I can go here like I can, I can see them, but you don't hear if it's a person walking, I can, I can.

I don't see them like I don't.

I don't see them walking me.

Meanwhile, I take two steps and you see the crunching of their the leaves and the stuff on the ground, but you don't.

And they're amazing to us.

Like I've seen orbs dancing like basically like almost like they're playing with themselves, like dancing around.

And yeah, it's pretty amazing.

Speaker 2

And have you seen them in like different states?

Speaker 1

Oh yeah, yeah, uh and the up of Michigan and I've seen them in Texas.

I've seen them in Michigan.

Where else I was in trying in so many different places on Colorado, soll them in Colorado.

Yeah, I've seen them in quite a few different places.

I've seen them here, you know, in in Bruis, Columbia.

Speaker 2

Do you think they're something living?

Speaker 1

I don't know.

That's a good question.

I mean it's hard to answer that because until I can, you know, catch one.

I mean tech for all we know, they could be hot.

You could if you were able to grab one, it could burn you all we know.

I mean, it's definitely paranormal and it could possibly be like spirits, because I don't know if you know this.

But I also have another documentary series called Paranormal Adventures where I go and I traveled to haunted locations all over North America.

And I just got back from Europe doing some of the old castles and the old old ruins that they have in Scotland, England, Ireland looking for ferries looking controls.

But yeah, I do.

I have another series and I'm about to launch five and six.

Oh wow, the number four just came out last week or two weeks ago.

It just launched number four, And that was cool because I actually caught on camera a door opening up on command three times.

Oh wow, like literally saying, oh, you can open the door now, and it opens like on command.

And it's a small cupboard like it's like it has some it's not like a big deep cover like a close it's like a closet it's only three feet deep.

That's it.

There's nothing in there, because I was checking all around to see.

Okay, but for someone pushing open, is there a string?

Yeah, some air?

Nothing, Nope, nope nothing.

I even slammed it down.

I even slammed it closed, and it's still opened on command.

But it would only open up on command.

You have to say, okay, you can open now, and it opens like cleanse open the door.

And it opened.

And then I yelled at it like I slammed it shut, and I said, all right, stop it, don't open it anymore.

I am tired you opening this door.

Don't open it again.

And then I take a step back, and it said, I'm just kidding.

You can open a door, never open again.

H Yeah, Well, the owners believed that it was a little girl, that that would do it like a little girl, because a little girl died in that house.

Speaker 2

What made you decide to tackle paranormal stuff?

Speaker 1

Well, so the thing is, I love a good mystery.

I just love it.

I love any kind of a mystery, and Bigfoot is one of the greatest mysteries on Senator.

And I thought, okay, well, let's let's uh, let's check out paranormal and see if I can you know, debunk it or at least you know, have some fun, you know, looking looking into that.

And and I just found out recently that Amazon Prime in the UK and in Europe have taken all my documenties.

Oh wow, which is very exciting.

Yeah, it isn't on Amazon Prime in Canada or in the United States, but it is on Prime in Europe and in Britain, So that was exciting.

Speaker 2

What's your future plans for the Searching for Sasquatch series?

Speaker 1

So I right now as I'm speaking to you, I just I just finished Searching for Sasquats eighteen Part one and that was skunk Cape Tracker.

So when I got thlown down to Florida and I was in the swamps looking for evidence of skunk Cape, and then I decided to do a part one and a part two.

So I'm working on part two, which is number nineteen, and then I'm going to be the next one after that is Mothman.

So I'm doing a search of the Sasquats the Mothman, and then after that's gone in Wrigaru.

So I've already done these expeditions, it's now editing.

It and putting it together.

There is some exciting stuff happening in the summer.

This summer, I'm speaking a whole bunch of different big Foot festivals and paranormal festivals.

In fact, I even spoke at a mowfon a new phone conference talking about Bigfoot.

I can believe that.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was growing in some paranormal stuff.

I did a few.

I'm speaking at the New Jersey Bigfoot from Paranormal conference coming up in in June, so that'll be exciting.

And Sasquat Summerfest in in Oregon in July.

Speaker 2

That's going to be a big one.

Speaker 1

Yeah, that's going to be a big one in Europe.

I'm going to be filling a whole other something else.

It's still going to be Crypted related, but it's not going to be searching that.

Sasquats is going to be a whole other, a whole other set of series, and so I'm very excited about that.

I can't really talk too much about that because I'm under contract, but that's going to be exciting.

Yeah, And so that will come out early next year, but it will come out on other platforms, and then I'm working on some other another Sasquats series that isn't Bigfoot that will be coming out next year.

But yeah, you know, for all the viewers out there and all the listeners, they can they can find all my stuff on fossome.

Speaker 2

Do you know Fossom I don't think I do.

Speaker 1

Fowesome is a streaming platform you can only find you can find searching.

If you go to Fossam on your TV set, you can download the appe free and and if you just put my name into the search bar, Jason Kenzie, you can They will all pop up.

There's like twenty four oh cool documentaries, four paranormal documentaries and twenty one search as the Sasquabs.

And then you can only see it on either your computer or your TV set.

You can't see it on your phone for whatever reason.

You can download.

You can download the app on your phone, but if you search my name you won't find I don't know why.

I mean you can find on two B you can find it.

You know.

If you have listeners overseas, they can find it on Amazon time.

Speaker 2

I appreciate you coming on here and telling me some stories, and I'd like to have you back sometime to tell some more stories.

Yeah, maybe after you get some of those other projects out there where you can talk about those, that would be awesome.

Speaker 1

It's going to be it's gonna be quite big, actually, so I'm very excited.

Like I said, I can't really talk much about it, but it's you'll know about it when it does launch, but I would definitely like to talk to you about it.

But yeah, I'm very excited.

Thank you so much for having us here, and I hope everyone enjoyed this.

And you know, I have a great that's your easy.
