Episode Description
In part two, musician and producer Joey Carbo of WOORMS recalls old band break-ups that involved a girl, recording difficulties, a debilitating handicap, and an overdose. Following these trials, he formed WOORMS, which was supposed to be a temporary foray back into heavy metal. We unpack his long stint in country music with Who By Fire, a band with more pieces and a less heavy feel. We also reflect on his time in punk music and how production and vocal clarity have come to the forefront for him since them. Which is an element that has been incorporated into his production and vocals with WOORMS. He talks about the differences between albums Slake, Twitching, As Prey and Fatalismo.
