Unknown: Boosting

Adam Curry

Adam Curry: is love everybody.

Welcome to boosting.

Graham ball, episode number 24 we are back.

It's been a hot minute, but I've got a producer.

So what could possibly go wrong?

We are broadcasting live from the Texas low country.

We kick it off with retrograde.

I need a little

Unknown

Unknown: bit the things we used to do, I Guess that's over.

Little side The things we used to do.

Know the things we used to do by your side?

I by your side.

Take it out now I will take All the way.

So much You get

Adam Curry

Adam Curry: Oh, man.

I'm not sure if they're from Nashville.

I'm pretty sure they recorded this there.

Retrograde.

I need a little kicking off.

Boosted ramball, episode number 24 if you're not listening to this on a modern podcast app, stop what you're doing right now.

Go to podcast apps.com because that's where all the fun begins.

Thank you very much.

Randy black for boosting in your sad scat.

F an anonymous podcast guru booster.

Here's the trusted burning the knight on the boosted Grand Ball.

24

Unknown

Unknown: but innocent.

I can't seek this reckless feeling list on my car.

Smell of my stone.

I want to sleep.

I In sweet babies, I think our country's Fighting with feeling one saw the scene when To sleep in my thunder To close.

I Early life control.

Adam Curry

Adam Curry: God, the trusted, ah, yes, every boost the grand ball is complete when you play a track by these guys burning the night.

And, you know, we need to do a little catch up.

Because I do apologize for being in absentia for I'm almost ashamed to say is, it been three months pretty much.

That is pretty bad.

What happened was I have so many podcasts in my life, which, you know, I have a golden rule, always do it on the same day, around the same time, I broke that one with booster, booster grand ball, and subsequently it completely failed.

I fell down last time we did a show was live at the bands at Bitcoin, and that should have been the reboot right there.

But I realize the biggest problem I have is not doing an hour or an hour and a half of music.

The problem is getting through all the tracks listening to the other music shows.

I just couldn't fit it into my schedule anymore, so I did a call out for a producer who could help me out.

And lo and behold, Jim Costello of phantom power music jumped right in and said, No problem.

I've got a day job.

I've got my own podcast.

But okay, I'll help you out.

So he has done a fantastic job getting everything started for today, and we're going to be doing this every 14 days to start off, kind of get back into the groove, see if we can ramp that up to once every week and make it a regular thing.

We do seem to have more than enough songs in the value verse, which is just so phenomenal.

And when you hear these songs three times, that's how hits are born.

It doesn't and, you know, I just realized that the old radio system was complete capture.

That's why those things turned into hits.

We can do that easily in the value verse.

And just to give you an example, here are my friends.

The door fulls was just on the dorfle verse live.

We want to check that out.

Episode number 33 they made me choose the version I like the most of this song, and this is the one I like.

It's disco swag, the Dorff on the ball, Tacoma.

Unknown

Unknown: Wannabe the first move, but it's different with you.

Come around your waist so close it like it takes.

Show me what I need to do.

Feel me inside.

Take the fuck all right, show me me what I missed before I mess with you.

With me slow and I'll take you where You want to go.

Move What you

Adam Curry

Adam Curry: Got up I if you're brand new to the value verse you've never heard of boosted Graham ball and you want to play along and you don't have A podcast app with a wallet.

Go to fountain.fm.

Grab yourself a fountain.

The Fountain app, they'll give you a wallet.

You can get started right away.

You can boost we play the tracks.

It's the artists who get the sassy with Joe Martin.

You

Unknown

Unknown: I don't know who the number's for the I don't know it's always all that high keeps holding me down, Broken sunlight through the blind.

When did my turning memories like shattered pieces in my mind, I could put that back together, but it won't matter anyway.

I'm so heavy love that high gravity.

High gravity now that I down.

Gravity keeps holding me down to I need to get back on my feet.

No, I will, but I don't know feels like every other week I.

I need to learn and walk again.

Voices.

In keeps holding

Adam Curry

Adam Curry: Yeah, do not be confused by the accent from up north in the UK, our Joe Martinez.

It's always so weird to hear him talking versus singing, like, what?

What the You're British.

High gravity.

Now that was the first song that we played on podcasting 2.0 we got the all the remote item stuff set up.

You don't have to know what that means, but basically, when we play a song in a podcast these days, the streaming SATs you're sending to us and all booster grams, the wallet switches go straight towards the artist, which is how radio should have worked 100 years ago.

But of course, there's no way that could ever happen.

A couple of boostagrams, I want to thank people for Chad f3 33 Remember, it's always fun to put in the message that you heard it on the booster Graham ball, 1234, from salty crayon says, Love the doors.

Heard disco swag on boosted Graham ball.

Go podcasting.

Chad F again, saying that the disco swag was an instant classic.

Saints and SATs, woohoo.

We love the boosted Grand Ball.

Thank you.

Adam and Jim.

With 1000 SATs, we appreciate it.

Thank you all continue to boost in and remind the artists that it all came from the boosted grand ball.

Now there's some big news going on with this show, because we're not just resurrecting it to get the podcast going again.

We're also resurrecting it, because on December 16, at the famous antones in Austin, Texas, I will be presenting Adam Curry's booster gram ball live with four, even possibly five bands live on stage, all value for value.

We'll be streaming it live in audio and in video.

It's going to be a Hootenanny, as we say around these parts, very excited by that lot of good stuff to come as we crank up the value.

Verse, This, by the way, is another guy from London, Chris Nichols.

This is sweat,

Unknown

Unknown: hey, Mama, I'm going to the bar.

What you're going to the bar for?

Boys, I want to dance.

Mama, you can dance mom when when you wanna see the media dance?

I met a lady down New Orleans.

She got a poker dog dressing.

I met her sweetie and mom some more.

She gonna drop the night so she ain't no more.

I saw you didn't know my home.

Pretend girl wasn't dancing.

I thought I told you I saw my name.

She got me.

I found a pity in Boston.

She loves some jazz, black shoes.

I'm all tight dancer and dance.

Maybe I'm a loser.

He's a ah, y'all swear for me.

Swear for me.

You can dance when you wanna tell the media heart man, dance when you wanna tell me your heart man, let me tell you all something I love all these women.

There was only one girl I was gonna dance with.

Let me tell you something.

Hey, there's a gypsy girl down in Texas.

Hell.

She could dance.

She could shake their ears.

She could diaries dance.

Only took one glance, and I'm starting to swear for me.

Sweet gypsy girl got me wanting some more.

No sweat.

Mama told me use the beat of my heart for follow me to Texas.

Hit the beat of my heart.

See, Mama wasn't wrong, cause I found me the stars.

She sweats for me.

I.

Ah, she switched on me, she switched on me.

She switched for me.

Booster, booster.

Grand Ball.

You?

You hadn't worn little knife doesn't hurt my back like you thought it would.

Well, thankfully, it is a hard fight for me, but I'll leave it On the left you made, But I'll leave it out.

If I did, your eyes would sneak away to the corner of the room, because I know that you weren't used to having it all given back to you, and though it might be filled in the sea of bees rattling and crying like a little boy.

Gonna cry like a little boy.

You might deserve a body don't serve a perfect want to see.

Honey, I hope, or maybe with grace, because at the end of Excel, I'd say I'm not the one who put the mess You made, but I'll leave it out.

We'll say, Hello.

Want you Put material song for

Adam Curry

Adam Curry: the left.

That's right.

Randy black.

You heard it on the bustagram ball, the queen of the V for V music scene.

Ainsley Costello always brings it.

He says, absolutely correct, by the way.

If you hear some sounds during the duration of the program.

That's because you can trigger some sounds.

We've made this interactive these days by knowing what to boost in Chris.

Chris, with Jupiter broadcasting, sent a row of ducks, 2222 listening while I prep this week in Bitcoin.

Thanks for the excellent work and music.

Well, you've got to also thank Jim pacello for.

Uh, helping out with that.

And thank you, dude with your 333 Satoshis boosting into the ball.

It is a lot of fun.

For those of you who are thinking, Wait a minute, wait a minute, this is like radio on demand, where I can get value for the songs that I created, for the value I created.

How do I get on board with that?

Well, there's a couple of places you can do that.

In fact, if you go to podcast apps.com, you'll see all of the capabilities of all of the hosting companies.

I will say, wavelength.com.

W, W, W, A v l, a key, K, E, K U, spell curry, W, A v l, a, k, e, that's a very simple place to start.

If you want to get a little more funky, little more into all the extras and do some self hosting, that's always a possibility.

There's quite a thriving community in one of the telegram groups.

You can also go to podhome.fm, or rssblue.com they will walk you through it as well.

It is a great community.

No one owns it, no one controls it.

Everybody can go their own way as God intended.

It is the value verse, as we call it, where we play the tracks and the artists get the SATs.

And man, there are so many good songs that that you know, that have been out for the past.

I think we've been doing this for two years.

Actually have to give some props to Abel and the wolf.

They were the first ones to put their entire album up with with what we call the value block and the opportunity to boost them.

So when I was talking to producer Jim about all this stuff, I said, Hey, man, we got to make sure we play some of the stuff that's been out there.

We can't just be playing the new stuff.

We got to get it all in there.

Oh, he got the message.

He really did.

He understood.

He said, Oh, yeah, I know what you need.

How about this one?

FM rodeo said,

Unknown

Unknown: door said, I'm not quite like you, even twisted.

And the one thing that you always love the most, I said, yeah, yeah, that's true, that we know vertigo, but I'm not quite like you reach straight through between the lines.

You wonder now, when we get out her life, what's up?

Two, step three, step four, she's got 16 ways and I know where to go.

She's got 16 ways this time, and I know where to go.

I can't believe you when you look at me, she's got 16 ways and last night.

You and on that date I called it, I said, I'm not quite like you.

The worst part of your wasted life is wasting things and asking.

Why ask?

Why?

I say, yeah, yeah, that's true that we know her to go, but I'm not quite like you, breaking sounds.

No way to go the head through all of this is not quite right.

And there's right and there's right out.

Right?

What?

Step two?

Step three, step four.

She's got 16 ways, and I know where to go.

She's got 16 ways inside, and I know where to go.

I can't believe she's got 16 ways in this Life.

You I call it.

I said, I'm not quite like you know one thing that you always love the most.

I said, yeah, yeah, that's true, that we know where she come, but I'm not quite like you straight through between the lines you wanted.

Now we'll we get out.

What?

Step two, step three, step four, she's got 16 ways and I know where to go.

She's got 16 ways inside, and I know where to go.

I can.

Happen?

You?

Adam Curry

Adam Curry: Wait a minute, is that?

Is that a mosh pit?

I see Chad acid.

You start the mosh pit again?

Oh, man, always the same people who do it, FM rodeo here on the ball, the self titled national anthem.

And yes, you can stay on the ballroom dance floor, because we've got this guy who was at the very first value for value concert, Leighton,

Unknown

Unknown: late nights, that behavior, light the dusty moon, just sweet, like honey.

I was born to be wild, turned you into a believer.

Tonight, I feel it going down.

When the world shut us down home time, don't you tap out baby?

It's a knockout.

Wrote the dice and thank me later, Jamaica, this guy, we are the plane.

Say, sweet black, honey.

I was born to be wild.

Turn you into a believer.

Mary, let it out when the World when the world shut us down.

I do shut us down.

Take me to higher ground when the world shut us down, take me to higher ground, higher ground, higher ground.

Adam Curry

Adam Curry: Oh.

Now, if you took a little bit of Prince had a love child with Lenny Kravitz, and threw in just a sprinkle of James Brown, you'd have just loud shrooms, which is just so incredibly good.

He was fantastic in Minneapolis at the Seventh Street.

Is that?

What a Seventh Street?

Second Seventh Avenue, Seventh Street entrance, I don't know it was in Minneapolis.

Okay?

And check these guys out.

They're from Toronto.

They met in college, or, as they say, uni University.

This is a shy kids on the ball.

It's

Unknown

Unknown: keep my head, waiting for the ground to steady, pick up my phone.

Until the evening.

Let's need it if I can see where I win Good.

I show For fear.

Oh, The sky is new.

Worry if I can conceive it I fumble

Adam Curry

Adam Curry: aim for love those guys, shy kids, fresh off a feeling on your bustagram ball.

And this is actually the song that producer Jim sent to me before we even started talking about producing the ball.

This is Embleton.

Sunrise

Unknown

Unknown: coming.

I'm guilty again.

Rooster crowing.

It's not the first time I see you running you kiss my neck.

Pick me up again.

It won't be the last time.

Will Be and it feels like with kindness all.

Father, Jesus, your King, oh.

It.

I thought you were a ghost, just looking for the bad in me.

I compared you to my dad.

To be honest, I've been wondering if you could really love me.

I thought you were standing there.

Didn't care always, man, we smile, looking for the bed in me.

I can imagine if you could really love me.

You said you really love me.

It feels like to get and It feels like dying with kindness.

You're me.

Your spirit.

These halls.

Don't you kill me with kindness.

You're living Jesus, you're the king.

Hamilton

Adam Curry

Adam Curry: on the ball.

You are killing me.

Get a little bit of Jesus on here on the ball.

Kevin is the lead singer.

He lives in Nashville, originally from Ohio, and now featured on your boostagram ball.

And thank you very much.

Randy black for boosting in and he says it right there on boosted Graham ball.

Embleton is quickly jumping up my list of favorite V for V artists.

Great track on this one with a great meaning, by the way, if you're wondering what all this V for V stuff is, value for value, check out the website, value for value, dot info.

That's value number four, value dot info.

It explains kind of the whole concept behind it.

This is not tipping.

This is not just throwing a couple of couple of nickels at somebody.

It's value for value.

The whole idea is, whatever value you get from the show, whatever value you get from the song, you send that value back, that's going to be different for everybody.

For instance, salty crayon send 1234, shy kids, he says, always have been playable tracks in V for V heard fresh off a feeling on the boosted ground ball.

Thank you And dude, thank you for boosting this room is with your 333, sets.

The system works.

It's completely interactive.

Oh yes.

And thank you Burberry for reminding me it's Seventh Street entry, First Avenue.

That's where that very first value for value music concert was.

Mark it down in your calendar for December 16 at antones, right in Austin, Texas.

We will have Adam Curry's booster.

Graham ball presents live with a fantastic lineup of artists.

I'm very excited about that.

I'm I'm even gonna get a hotel room and stay overnight.

You won't even drive home.

So we plan on getting wild.

Unknown

Unknown: She says, don't wanna give up so easily.

If this is wrong, tell me.

Are waiting on the next thing, but now my head's in the sand, not on the sky.

I tried to go through this on my own.

I don't know why, but I do it every.

In time, one day, I wake up and realize it's all about the journey and the ride and it almost passed me by, just remember to stop breathe and just let go.

You've never been all alone, and you're stronger than you know through all the highs and lows yes and no was long and winding roads, just remember to stop, stop breathe and just let go.

Yeah, just let go.

I've been looking in the mirror.

Starting to see myself clearer, and it gets hard sometimes, trying to see the world in a different light.

I'm suddenly feeling free, but now my head's out the sand, eyes on the price.

I tried to go through this on my own.

I don't know why, but I do it every time.

One day I wake up every life, things aren't always perfect, but that's life, and it almost passed me by to just remember to stop breathe and just let go.

You've never been alone, and you're stronger than you know, through all the highs and lows, yes and nos, long and wildlife roads, just remember to stop breathe and just let go.

Just let go.

Just let go.

Let it go.

Let it go.

You watch it wrong better than you know.

Watch your own birthday.

Breathe and just let go.

You've never been alone, and you're stronger than me.

Know all the highs and lows, yes and no, long and wide and Rose, just never to stop breathe and just let go.

Just let go.

You're stronger than you know.

You've never been alone through all the highs and lows, yes and no says you're stronger than you know.

Baby, Stay with me.

Baby, it ain't talk to my baby.

It ain't too much.

Someone's keepers together.

Adam Curry

Adam Curry: You know, there's one thing I've noticed about these songs in the value verse, almost none of them have a fade out at the end.

You know, they have distinctive endings.

I never liked that kind of wimpy, like, oh, we'll just fade it out here, man.

We just got to end the song somewhere.

First night, Daddy net, hailing from Austin,

Unknown

Unknown: chasing I'm It chasing Stevens your stay safe, Stay awake.

Adam Curry: that's what I call top down driving around music easy doesn't ease off the accelerator.

Kiwi bones.

That could be very, very dangerous.

I row and the fever.

Now, the singer's name is Brandon Welch, and I'm pretty sure I met him at a no agenda meetup.

He is in North Carolina, and we have not heard from him since Helene.

So we are obviously a little bit concerned.

If anyone knows how he doing, we'd love to know.

Of course, we are also praying for everybody in Florida right now.

Yeah, these storms, friends over from Japan, and they told me they went to Fukushima and.

There's this little mountain up there, and there were three monuments for different tsunamis and earthquakes.

And they said, Well, what's all this about?

Is this for the for the big one?

We had no no this happens every 100 years.

And it turns out big ones have hit Florida from the Gulf Coast in the past as well.

I think 1920 1921 was a big one.

Same in 1960 in North Carolina.

It is just Mother Nature, my friends.

And she seems to be very strong.

Always has that winning hand, fortunately.

Wanted to mention, if you are listening to this just in a regular old podcast player on the website boostagramball.com Get yourself a modern app you can try podcast guru, curio caster.

You can try, oh my God, there's so mad pod verse, fountain.

Most of these apps, by the way, you can favorite or you can find the whole list of the songs that we played.

You can favorite that and then put it into a separate playlist and play it to your heart's consent content and boost the artist anytime you feel like it.

Or, of course, you can always just rewind the show, stop it, even if you have to, if you want to send a boost.

It all works.

It's all magic.

Wallet switching, technology again, podcast apps.com, get on the train, everybody.

You are helping the music business out, the new music business where we don't need any black boxes, where your money is collected by some other outfit.

And then it sits around for 48 months, and then a penny drops out of it, and Taylor Swift wins in the end.

Nope, none of that.

We play the tracks.

The SATs go to the artists.

It is your bustagram ball.

We're gonna wind it down with a couple more tracks.

We've got some ladies on deck here, and we're gonna kick it off with blueprint Abby Muir, Right here on the ball.

Unknown: while, I know last time I heard from you, I hung up the phone.

It's getting easier to let it go and forget that you knew me.

I put some distance in between so I might stop or hash in everything.

Night you type, we got some trouble.

No one can't deny maybe I should set you free.

I'm breaking we had fun, but honestly, we broke through the end we were gonna can't bitch about it if we swore it and be different, and no one made the difference.

What cut off my ties.

We can do a signal and just let's get out of use.

I guess what we didn't do is not me.

Happens to everybody.

Some get stuck in other dismantling.

I'm breaking bad with the old me.

Later that the rest of my dreams, we had a fun we had a fun but honestly, we both knew the end we were gonna be growing up.

It is a bitch, and we can't bitch about it.

We swore it'd be different.

But what made the difference?

God, I used to Oh, my grief.

We had a fun but honestly, we were busy and we were gonna be growing up with this occasion.

We can't bitch about it if we swore it'd be different.

But what made it different?

What cut all my ties with your sick mouth and Justin?

Adjustments.

God, I used to need them, but now, at all booster booster.

You're just so beautiful.

When you give me that smile, you go from here to here when

Adam Curry

Adam Curry: you.

It's You there is no lack of diversity.

And I'm not talking about dei no true diversity in the value verse, cavina, that smile you're wearing before that, Emily, deranged and before that, Abby Muir, which, by the way, playing three female artist in row would be completely illegal on mainstream or FM radio, op radio.

Oh, no, can't have any of that.

No, we gotta do that.

Oh, that'd be so bad.

Wrapping it up today, I want to thank Jim Costello for producing bustagram ball.

Of course, I had a hand in it as well, just a little bit, but he definitely helped out with all of the music, getting all the tracks, all the info I needed.

Adam Curry: Is it Ruby?

Is it plastic?

Yes.

Thank you, saldor for boosting in saying they were gonna have enough female singers in a row.

That's right, that's how it should work.

Unknown

Unknown: guess this is goodbye we know it's been a long time coming, but now we gotta fight.

Yes, we've been keeping our demons hit us.

There's fire in your words.

Hurt.

And I know it's gotta hurt.

Burns in your mouth, and if you want to, you can let it out.

Something's changing.

Earth got a hold on me.

Are we victims to our fate?

Am I guilty or just the first to walk away?

But now you're talking down to me, and It makes me kind of glad I didn't say unless you gotta hold on.
