Speaker 1

I made a decision sunny sound.

I had a vision night.

Speaker 2

Hey, Everyboddy was up for crying out loud and it's Friday.

We got some docs to talk about, we got gossip to talk about.

That's a bunch of shit to talk about.

Speaker 3

Yeah, I did want to tell you this.

I got so irritated the other day because so as you know, Xander is over committed.

Yes, every freaking activity the go get her, He's a go getter.

I got so mad the other day because of course I should be to say I should be saying this on Patreon, but I'm not okay, And you know what, I'm too loose with the like a lot of people at my kids school, No, I have a podcast these days, like they've met, I've had it mentioned to me, like, oh you have a podcast, Yes, I remember those days right right, listen if you are it's this that disease, zip it tend it's Patreon.

I don't know whatever.

I don't want to anyway.

I get over volunteered, as you know, and I have been working really hard at like trashing emails that I just don't want to be involved with.

And I feel kind of a twinge of being bad if I had a therapist, which I don't write this minute.

They would probably be very proud of me.

Yes, I would probably chime around and go, I just deleted all these emails.

You should feel liberated.

Well, so, okay, my friend Tiamura made me feel better about this because so he's he's not in the school play which is going to be having its opening night very soon, but he's the assistant director.

So my friend Tamra I was like, I'm already getting all these emails that are like, hey, the kids are going to be in tech Okay.

I get an email that says, here's all it's tech rehearsal week starting right now.

So he's this is tech rehearsal week that we've just passed.

The email was like, the kids need to be there from from after school till like seven o'clock at night.

Then next week is the show, right Also, they need to be there to rehearse Saturday and Sunday, so basically it's seven days a week starting We're talking on a Monday.

I get this email.

It was like yesterday, Yeah, Saturday, Saturday, he was at rehearsal.

Sunday he didn't have to go starting to day that We're recording seven days a week through the show, and I was like, oh, hell no to do college applications.

Yeah, this is crazy because also schoolwork right, So and I was I got so mad that like, why did he agree to do this play?

It was such bad timing.

Why didn't I mom up and go.

Speaker 2

Well, because you didn't know?

How are you supposed to know?

It was going to be like, oh, hell, we should have known.

Speaker 3

I forgot.

I forgot how crazy it gets tech week.

Speaker 2

Yeah.

And also when your kid wants to do something and wants to be like you kind of feel good about it.

Speaker 3

You're like, yeah, okay, go for it.

But here's the thing, it's not only the kid that gets hurt.

It's the moment.

Why are you going to I was just gonna say, get the emails that are like, so we need people to sign up to bring meals?

Yet for all the kids, who's going to hello, are we gonna get a peak that day?

This day, this day, this day, this day.

And in my mind, I'm just like, listen, if you guys want to just order pizza every night, and like I'm happy to chip in for that.

Yeah, I am not organizing snacks for this now.

So then I told my friend Camera and I I was like, I have just been like deleting all the emails.

And she goes, good, she goes Xander's in a service position.

He's not even in the play.

He's helping out right, So you don't have to do anything in that.

Speaker 2

Let us let the actors take it their parents, let their moms have to go over there and bring the pizzas.

Speaker 3

But it's like the tech that I can't imagine chain.

It's like this person, Oh my god, it's like you're almost at the finishing I know, but it's like the mom who does everything, who I've named checked here before, I won't do it right now.

Is like first they're like, hey, her name's Nancy.

They're like, Nancy, could you do a sign up genius?

And she does because she's the best, right, But like so she sets up a sign up genius, but everybody's like, but then you get these emails that are like, what do you mean by a heavy snack day?

It's like, oh my god, oh my god.

First of all figured out, but second of all, I don't want to I don't even want to be in this conversation.

So I I've been there's been like forty emails.

Speaker 2

I just delete, delete, delete, delete, good you should it's enough.

Speaker 3

But I told Xander.

I was like, listen, I got this email and this is your schedule, and this just like no, like no, can't be at school that after that, you're going to have literally two weeks before the deadline for all the UC applications.

We're talking about the next four years.

Like I don't really care that much about, like you assistant directing this play.

So I had bad at him, but I was like, listen, you know we didn't really we should have thought this through.

This is really bad timing.

So you can't.

You can't do every single rehearsal.

He was like okay.

So he just sent me a text and he was like, mom, I talked to the teacher and I only have to be there.

I don't have to go every day.

I could just go.

The most important days for tech are Monday and Thursday, so perfect, all right, I'll take Tuesday and Wednesday, and then I maybe he doesn't have to be there on the weekend, and then I think he'll have to here opening night.

But he doesn't have to be there for all the performances because it's done.

Oh good, Like he's literally out there directing, right, there's a director, right, so he doesn't that he can skip.

We'll probably show Opening night and like closing night.

Speaker 2

Good good, Wow, I felt better.

That is a lot.

That's a lot, especially with the applications coming up.

Yeah, no, no, no, no, you had to step in.

Speaker 3

Ugh, yeah I did.

How are the kids doing with their I mean na is only applying to Santa Barbara, right, and same with him.

Speaker 2

Yeah, so they are working with they have a counselor at their school that they're working with, and they don't want my help.

Speaker 3

So I know, I.

Speaker 2

Keeping up checking in like we got it, we got it.

We got both of them, Like we got it, I got it.

I understand.

You know, they'll tell me they're gonna send it to me when they have it written, stuff like that.

Speaker 3

But we'll see.

Yeah it's exciting.

Yeah, it's exciting.

So we're gonna be like in the same boat again, I know, right, starting starting to Yeah, well the younger, the twins and the twins, right, yeah, it's going there, the twins and then the holidays are coming.

Speaker 2

Somebody on Facebook invited me to Thanksgiving.

That was really sweet.

Speaker 3

I know you're coming with me if you're not right, if you're not gonna.

Speaker 2

Have the kids right, So we'll see.

I think I am.

I think I'm cooking for them yea, oh really, yeah, Adam didn't win that.

They don't really like going to Adam's family.

They like when they like being home and smelling the turkey and all that, and then their friends can come over and hang out.

Speaker 3

So that's what we're gonna do.

Yeah, that definitely sounds more fun.

Yes, yeah, no traveling nothing right, Yeah.

Yeah, So that that's that.

So Elbie's birthday with today's the third.

Yeah, her birthday is the twelfth.

Got to do a twenty first?

Oh my gosh, what are you gonna do?

So, okay, here's what I'm gonna do.

I'm whoa, I may not.

I may not take her to Vegas.

I'm trying to.

I'm trying to think.

Here's the thing.

She's got a very exciting life.

She doesn't really need the addage.

She's got a lot of things planned.

I don't know that this is there's plenty of time for us to take a trip.

It could be after she graduates.

Yeah, where she's feeling more relaxed and she doesn't have like a lot of stuff.

It seems like she does have a lot going on.

She's going to she's got different raves happening, she's gonna be working with this company that I talk about.

On Tuesday, She's planning a trip to Oregon with her girlfriend to see a bunch of their guy friends.

Speaker 2

Nic.

Speaker 3

It was like, maybe what I do instead is I okay?

So I was like, one thing that I know she really needs, that she wants and needs is headphones.

Because her AirPods, like she bought them years ago.

Yeah, I think she's literally had those for three or four years.

For four years maybe, yeah, those things and they're not working, so they're not charging upright, huh.

So I said, well, do you want new AirPods or do you want headphones?

Right?

Most people are using headphones.

Speaker 2

I noticed that when I was traveling a lot of the young kids are on the planes with headphones.

Yeah, full on headphones.

Yeah, at the gym and stuff.

Speaker 3

Yes, So I told John, I think we should buy her like some good headphones.

Right, there's the beats and there's like another kind.

But I was like, Elbe's a little bit of a brand whore, not like she has to have those Apple like five hundred dollars ones, so we looked up but I wanted to get her some nice ones, so we looked up these.

I can't remember.

There were like one hundred and five.

I don't know, there's some five series for anyone's.

And it was really funny because I was going to Costco and I was like, maybe we should look at the headphones.

Then I was between two, like a JBL pair and the Sony pair, and I was like, you know what, fuck surprises.

She's picky, like it's her twenty.

I want her to be I don't want to spend like three hundred dollars right and have it be not the fact the thing that she right.

And John is super sentimental about gifts and like he loves surprises.

He has like a thoughtful gift.

But I was like, honey, I wish I could be like that.

Yeah, I know, I don't have that.

I just don't.

Yeah, I know some people are such good gift givers.

He really likes to put a lot of thought into it and he likes it to be a surprise.

Yeah.

But I was like, I hear you, But I think we should ask her.

I think we should just tell or what we're getting her and give her a choice, right, because one of them, I was like, not sure.

I didn't know if she would love the way the Sony's looked.

The other ones were a little bit more low key, a little smaller.

So John was like, are you think really like we're gonna and I was like, yeah, I want to ask her.

I don't blame cute.

So I sent her the picture of both the ones that we were looking at, and I was like, Hey, sorry to ruin the surprise, but we're replacing your AirPods with headphones for your birthday, and I want to make sure.

Here's two that are that are researched, and I want to know which ones you like the look of better.

Yeah, And she freaked out and she was like, oh my god.

She was like the Sony ones.

Those are the exact ones I've been wanting.

And she's like those that's it.

I can't believe this, Like wow.

So she's super excited.

Oh that's so cute, and I felt like, better find off on it, right, Oh, I gotta do for her birthday, and then possibly I'm going to offer to pay for her plane ticket to go to the race to Oregon.

Where's she going in Oregon.

She's going to University of Oregon to go visit somebody.

Okay, nice, Yeah, that's great.

Oh, I also have the twins.

And then you have the twins birthday.

Yeah, I don't know what I'm going to do for them.

How old Sadie wants a tattoo?

Did I tell you that?

Yeah?

Really, So Sadie's going to get a tattoo.

Okay, it's going to be expensive, yeah, for her birthday, and then I don't know about Xander.

Xander seems tough, like a tough one.

And then for Christmas, then you have the Christmas Welby wants these really nice speakers, her djaying that she's, you know, going to be doing right if she sticks with it, that's that'll be cool.

So that will be a surprise because she already sent me the what she was sending me a few of them and debating whether to get them.

And I know she doesn't have any money because as we discussed, her bank account balance is low.

So that will be a surprise.

I think she'll be surprised.

That's nice.

I'll get the speakers.

That's great.

Speaker 2

Yeah, I haven't even thought about Christmas for these kids at the fun I don't know.

Speaker 3

They're really I mean he's kinda want money.

Speaker 2

Yeah, that's pretty much it.

Little things like little things.

Yeah, I'll get them little things.

Sony's always the high I mean, it's all he's easy makeup and stuff like that.

Sonny, I mean I end up getting him like underwearing T shirts and stuff like that.

I don't know, he's just very low key.

He doesn't ask for anything so well.

Speaker 3

He usually ends up enjoying a experience.

Yeah.

Yeah, yeah, maybe he'll come up with a concert or a sporting event.

Speaker 2

Yeah that he wants to go to the UFC fight or something.

Oh, maybe we'll see.

Speaker 3

I don't know.

That'll be hard because Adam could probably get him into stuff like that, right.

Speaker 2

Yeah, but he will tell me, like he'll he'll know like stuff that Adam can't get.

So then I'll ask me tickets to a Laker game or something or not Laker game, but whatever, something like that.

Yeah, he knows, we'll ask me, and then that'll be that.

Speaker 3

Do you ever like, are you ever just looking on like Facebook and you just start you see stuff and you're like, oh, I'll buy that.

That'll like be something for like Christmas and then you forget about it.

Yes, all the time.

It's like a week before Christmas and you're like.

Speaker 2

What was that.

Sometimes I'll take a screenshot of it.

Speaker 3

Yep.

Oh my god.

My photos are littered with screenshots, screenshots.

I think I'm gonna buy right right for people.

Speaker 2

Yeah, so funny, I know only one I know, No, no, I do that.

Speaker 3

Yeah.

I see things like, oh, he could use this screenshot.

Yeah.

Yeah.

So then I look back and it's like from months ago.

I'm like, oh, I never even looked that up right right, It's like my job is done once I've taken the screenshot.

Yes.

Speaker 2

I do that with like documentaries too.

When people are recommending shows and stuff, I'll take a screenshot of it, like on our Facebook page.

Speaker 3

Yeah, speaking of.

Speaker 2

Yeah, so speaking of So, somebody on our Facebook page talked about Don't Gate Brandon, and so I went and so it's like I said, so I talked about it last week, so hopefully people have seen it, so we're going to talk about it.

There might be some spoil alerts, but so it's called Don't Date Brandon, and it's on Paramount Plus and also Amazon Prime, yeah, and YouTube.

Speaker 3

My ears are fucking with me right now.

Speaker 2

I feel like my voice is really high.

No, because I've been having allergies.

Anyway, Sorry, So I watched that.

Okay, it's a three part episode, and it's basically it's it's this These two wives come together, two ex wives of this man named Brandon, who is a psychopath and just basically like is he's very good with technology, and he makes he's he marries this one woman, and he has this ex wife, and he has a daughter with the ex wife, a little little daughter, and so they have to communicate.

So he tells the new wife, don't talk to my ex wife because she's she's nuts, and we're going to download this app, this parenting app, and that's how we're going to talk to her.

And there'll be messages from the ex wife going, you know, you have to work around my schedule and being really super difficult, and the new wife's like wow, like she's crazy, and then the ex and then making it look like the ex wife is like stalking them, like just getting into their business.

And so he gets like a restraining order against her, and he tells the new wife, don't ever reach out to her because then you'll violate the restraining order and blah.

Speaker 3

Blah blah blah blah.

Speaker 2

This goes on on Smart Smart right, So this this is going on for a while and then.

Speaker 3

Then what happened so also these So then they bring the.

Speaker 2

Ex wife on and she's like, I never I never done any of these things.

He's creating this whole you know, uh conversations on the app between us that is not meep talking.

So the what the new wife starts to get suspicious.

Speaker 3

Now then there and there's this all this other stuff.

Speaker 2

Then there's another ex girlfriend that is like, uh like hitting on him and she sees it.

She sees a message like who's this you know, Sydney chick.

He's like, oh, I dated her in the past, and she just won't let it go.

And she's like, well, do you know, does she know that you're were married?

So she gets this random message like from some chick like you know, trying to hit on her husband.

And she's like, well did you tell her that you're married now?

And blah blah blah, and and he's like, I'm going to do you one better.

I'm gonna go and I'm gonna get her arrested.

I'm gonna go to her place and then he and then he leaves and he goes, he drives, she leaves it there.

They live in Portland.

He drives to Seattle, where this girl lives.

He sends her a screenshop.

Speaker 3

You went better.

I'm gonna go see her.

Speaker 2

I'm gonna see her in person and get her arrested.

Speaker 3

Fuck you right, like like what?

Speaker 2

So then she gets a picture of her being like this blonde girl getting arrested with the cop out and he's like, see she's getting arrested.

Spoiler alert, that's from the internet.

It's not real, like he's doing all these things.

So the first two episodes is about these stories going back and forth and I'm just like, okay, gets there, Like they show that there's video surveillance of him like breaking into the house and stuff, and I'm like, what are.

Speaker 3

They gonna get to?

Speaker 2

I kept falling asleep, Like these girls were going back and forth.

Speaker 3

They were kind of annoying.

Speaker 2

I don't know how, and but they were just kind of just like they meet, then they joined forces, and now they're going to try and take the guy down.

And now he's on the run and they can't find him.

He at one point kidnaps his daughter and gets in the car with her and is driving, and the police are chased because now there's a like he's got a warrant out for his rest.

Oh, also he's doing like financial fraud shit, like he's making up all these things with this company and like swindles money from this company.

They talk to the cops about that.

So now this guy's got a warrant out for his arrest.

These two ex wives are after him, the financial police are, everybody's after him.

He's missing.

He gets his daughter, picks up his daughter.

Now there's like a police chase with the daughter in the car.

The daughter is texting with her mom saying like sos, like he's on the run.

The cops are chasing us, and she's twelve years old in the car, and the cops pulled back because of the because he was driving erratically with the kid in the car.

So then he drops her off at some restaurant pizzeria, gives her him ten bucks for a piece of pizza, and then leave.

So now like the daughter's traumatize and it's just basically.

Speaker 3

This whole story.

Speaker 2

And then then in the third episode that's when they show so anybody that's seen this okay.

There's a video camera in the bedroom.

She puts up video cameras outside of the house and in her bedroom.

She has a guy friend come to spend the night with her.

So because she's scared, all her friends are checking in on her because he's like harassing her.

He's like, first of all, he's threatening to kill himself.

He's already been, he's threatened to kill himself.

He's already been like on the run with his daughter.

He's dangerous.

So they're doing all these check ins with her and her friends every hour to see she's okay.

She has a guy friend come.

They're in the bedroom.

There's a bottle of vodka next to the bed.

Speaker 3

She's laying.

Speaker 2

You could see her laying like with her hand on her head.

She's laying with her with her heads at where your feet are at the bed, and the guy is laying in her bed with his head at the headboard, so they're lying that way, so you can only see the back of her head.

All of a sudden, this guy, he thinks he cuts the security cameras, but he doesn't, so you see him coming into the bedroom with a gun and a light a flash like pointing at the guy.

He walks into the bedroom.

She barely flinches, like she kind of just looks up and then puts her head back down on her hand, like not surprised somebody fucking walks into your bedroom.

I had to rewind that somebody walks into your bedroom with a fucking gun and a flashlight at the guy's head, you're gonna fucking jump up, like she's just kind of laying there.

Speaker 3

I don't know if she was drunk or what, but that was weird to me.

Speaker 2

Anyway, He's like, he gets like he's he gets into it like a tussle with her.

He grabs her, he puts her in a headlock and they're fighting, and then the guy gets the guy fo her friend.

Guy gets on top of him, gives him like a choke hold and knocks him out, put him unconscious.

Then the police come, then he's arrested.

And then the point of the thing is you think it's going to be a better documentary, no wonder.

It's like on Paramount, it wasn't that great.

It was just another story of a psycho guy with these two wives.

And then they come together and they do a podcast about him, and now they show him you know, being in the in the interrogation room with the cops and they're just like, you know, they're like, well, he's telling a whole different story about what happened in the bedroom, and they're like, well, what if we told you that you didn't cut the cameras and we have video of you and what you did.

It turns out the gun was a taser gun.

Turns out he had he had duct tape like inside of his jacket so that he could easily grab it, and he had zip ties.

He had a crossboat, like he was planning on kidnapping the white and raping her and like possibly killing her.

And later they found like ammonia and she found like ammonia stuff and bleach in her garage that she didn't put there.

It could have been worse, so this guy could have probably killed end up killing her.

But the two wives, the ex wives, get together and they do a podcast and blah blah blah.

Speaker 3

Which I listen to.

Speaker 2

Right, Okay, so I should we do an ad and let's talk about her.

Speaker 3

Hey so this podcast that these so okay, I don't have Paramount plus and I didn't know about the whole times on YouTube thing.

So one of our listeners was like, you know, they have they tell the story in more detail on their on this podcast called ex Wives, Undercover, Liars, Cheaters and Love Cons.

So I'm like, okay, let me go check this out.

Listen no offense to the person who recommended it, not for me.

I started listening to it and I was like, what, there's a lot of episodes.

So then I realized there's six seasons.

Yeah, I just saw that these women and the picture is so funny.

They're they're very blonde.

Yes, they look kind of alike too.

Yeah, well I guess the guy had a type.

Yeah.

So they're they're super blonde, very made up, and they're looking at the camera like, yeah, we're tough for detectives.

Yeah, so hey, good for them, more power to them.

But they're also like super southern.

So right away I was like, you know, and then and then he did, Okay, So I start listening to an episode and it's not the story about the guy.

So then I have to go look through the seasons, and I realized season one is like a bear story.

Okay, yeah, okay, Oh my god, it is so drawn out.

I started listening to it and I was like okay, or like, yes, you have to hear about each of their whole backgrounds, and that's how the documentary was.

Yeah, and I was like, get to those, get to it.

Does it need to be three episodes?

No, And there's a lot of like ohkay, and then when we met, like he said this to you, but he said this to me, but then I found out oh yeah, and he oh, and don't forget there's a lot of that.

Yeah, this toory was not succinctly told.

It didn't have a good narrative arc right to keep my attention.

Speaker 2

Yeah, so you didn't listen to their story, So I did you listened.

Speaker 3

To the whole thing?

I listened to a lot.

I listened to many episodes because I just sort of kept going and then it would go to the next one.

But then, yeah, so I didn't I didn't really even get to the part where he broke into the house.

I was getting to the part with like I heard about his the ex wife and the latest wife they did to her, and all the lies I knew they there's it's spoiler from the beginning, they tell you like we both were married to this guy who turned out to be like a psycho, right right.

But then I was like, Okay, I'm not going to finish this podcast because I just can't.

I just don't like it.

I don't like I don't like it.

Yeah, so I unfollow it.

But somehow, I guess because I've searched it.

I was listening to another podcast that I'm going to recommend to you, and every time an episode ended, they it would pop back up.

Have you ever had that happen?

So all of a sudden, I'm like coming up on Xlow Takes Club and I was like, wait, I thought I got rid of the They're still following you.

That's the worst.

Now they're stalking me right right now.

Start a detective agency and you to like find out why they keep stalking.

Speaker 2

You, yes, like get them off your back.

Oh god, I don't know.

I mean maybe people enjoyed it.

I just I just found it very like daunting and just just you know, too much background about them, Like just get to the point you know, like dateline, like they'll do you know, they lived in this beautiful town, a small town of only a population of two thousand people, and blah blah blah.

Speaker 3

You know, they do a little bit of that.

Speaker 2

Fast forward, like I don't need to know the town, what kind of town they live in.

Speaker 3

Remember we've talked about this before, but remember when we both used to watch The City Confidential because it was it was American Homicide.

What was the show that we both really liked with Bill Curtis, Oh yeah, American Justice.

American Justice.

Yes.

So they also had another one that was the same company.

It was A and E and it was City Confidential, which was American Justice, but with a lot of talk about the city right.

And I'd always be like, oh my god, I don't need fifteen minutes.

I'm not the city right.

Speaker 2

They always do that, but least Data Late Line keeps it to like four minutes, right, you know.

It's just like there's just too much just I don't know.

It was just kind of I kept falling asleep, to be honest.

Then I had to wake up and go, Okay, where did I leave off?

Where did I It just was like just get to the point the third episode was the most interesting because they had the video of everything, right, but it's like, Okay, we get it.

He was an asshole and he you know, conned the two of you.

Speaker 3

Which I think the problem is there's such a glut of things about like con men, right, Like there is all these guys that are like up to no good, right trying.

Speaker 2

To Yeah, go on Netflix and watch one of those those are you know?

Speaker 3

Those are better?

Speaking of Netflix, I forgot to tell you that.

Speaker 2

I I was like, I just needed something to watch at the gym.

H.

Speaker 3

My new thing is just watching like documentaries at the gym.

Yeah, and I rewatched Okay, is it called American Nightmare.

It's the one with the Chris.

Speaker 2

Watts, Chris Watts and the two daughters.

I just rewatched Shane and Shane, And that's a good documentary.

It is with that guy Chris Watts.

How he's so like, I don't know what's going on.

Oh and when he went to the neighbor's house, yes, and the neighbor.

Speaker 3

Was like, Dude, this guy's acting weird.

Speaker 2

Yes.

Speaker 3

I love that.

It's like, you, guys, can you hang back after he leaves?

You gotta talk to you about something?

Right, low key yeah.

And then he's like, yeah, this guy, I don't he doesn't normally like bring stuff out to his truck, and he did, and the cops are like, I don't know.

That sounds kind of normal, right me?

Uh huh yes.

Speaker 2

And then he was like on Good Morning America out front talking about is why I'm really worried about my wife?

Speaker 3

Yes, just what associates?

Come home?

Just really come home?

Yeah, that was that is a good documentary.

So then he turns out to be seeing this yoga instructor.

It was like, not that cute.

Jnan is like really a lot cuter than yeah, right right, Okay, So then that led me to what rewatching?

And there's no need There was no need for me to rewatch this, but I was just like home at watching Netflix and I'm like, I'm gonna watch this Scott Peterson memory again.

Speaker 2

Okay, dude, what the fuck that guy is so guilty.

Speaker 3

I cannot believe that anybody.

And what's his name?

Who?

We love?

Gara Goes, Gara Goes.

He's so kind of smartmy when he talks about this case.

And I'm telling you, we do love him, but he is such he's such a shmoozy.

Yes, yes, stuff he brings up, it's like, oh my god, are you kidding me?

Right now?

They go through all the stuff they find with Scott Peterson, he's such a liar with the boat that he just happened to buy that he didn't tell anybody about because he wanted it to be a surprise, and they're like a surprise for whom and he goes, oh, surprise for the father in law.

The father in law, and then they go like the father in law was like, why would he give a ship that you bought a boat?

He doesn't care.

And then he had the story about how he went fishing, but then he told somebody else that he was golfing.

Remember, Yeah, could not keep his story straight.

And then do you remember that when they were they were looking, he drove out to the marina when he felt, oh yeah, drove that whole trip again to just check and make sure they hadn't found something, right, they were the police retailing him.

He was acting so shifty.

But they came out with that podcast or whatever that was like, but no, but the neighbors had had that house broken into.

Oh yeah, cross, which is true, and I had nothing to fucking do with anything.

Yeah, I mean it was like and then the Amber fry coming out, Oh how about I know I'm in Paris, It's New Year's Eve.

That's so crazy.

I'm having such a great trip.

And she already fucking knows.

She's on the phone with this guy going oh really and remember her.

Speaker 2

Voice, Yes, she had that like baby what yeah, Oh, what are you gonna do for me when you get home?

Speaker 3

And he's like, I love so into you Amber.

Yeah, I lost my wife.

But first he tells her, I got to I have to tell you something, like because his friend finds out that he's dating the girl and he's like, he's married, tells the friend and then her friend is like, dude, this guy's married.

So then she confronts him and he goes, yeah, I really needed to tell you, like, but I lost my wife.

Uh huh she died right.

So then later when she's like, oh, but I loved when she was on the phone with him, and she's like, I find you said you lost your wife.

How did you lose your wife before she actually went missing?

Right?

Speaker 2

Wasn't that when she was being FBI was recording her.

Speaker 3

Yes, yes, she was taught she knew something was up.

She went to the police and she's like, thank god, she told me he lost his wife.

But that was like weeks ago before she actually went missing.

Speaker 2

Yeah, it was thanks to her.

He got caught pretty much, and he.

Speaker 3

Went fit supposedly fishing with the boat.

Didn't whatever it was, he didn't have something that you would have needed for the actual fishing or fishing.

Speaker 2

He didn't have that with him.

It was something about the ankor he made anchors, made those anchors cement anchers.

Yeah, and then they find the bodies exactly where he said he went right fishing, right, And now we're supposed to believe that like Garago's new trial, right, I mean, the Innocence Project is trying to get him off.

Speaker 3

Last I heard, it's probably not.

You know, there's an this is going to lead to another thing we want to talk about.

But there's the Innocence Project that actually is the progressive trying to get people who have been wrongfully right convicted exonerated.

There's another one, there's a different innocence LA base that is way more like Republican.

And you know who's into it is Emily from oc Housewife.

Oh right, that's her.

That project.

That's her project.

It's not the actual it's not the real project, the different one.

It's a spinoff.

Interesting, I didn't know that.

It's not the one that they get like volunteers, like law school students, right right, it's not the good one.

Speaker 2

So let's talk about OC sure real quick.

So the season was so fucking boring.

Speaker 3

All the way through, right, totally.

Speaker 2

I can't stand Camera, She's just the worst.

And then there's Gretchen, who I can't stand either.

So now we're watching these to idiots fight the whole time, and you give either Shannon, Oh you don't, well Shannon Madore, Yeah, why, well she's she's.

Speaker 3

Just awful and whiny and just like she I mean, she's not I'm me an alcoholic.

Can I get a belvetyre instead of yeah yeah yeah with a line?

Speaker 2

Yeah, there's nobody.

It's like that show.

They need to revamp that show.

Yeah, you know.

So then at the end of the season, but you know, I like Heather Debro, I know, yes, well when they did the Trevor Project episode, that was really nice.

Speaker 3

I like that.

Yes, she bugged me for a long time, but now it's like, totally understand why she's got like several kids.

She's fighting the good.

She has a trans son who's the same age as my kid.

I got to hand it to her.

She almost uses every episode.

Speaker 2

To she's fighting the good fight for sure.

Yes, yeah, so then you know, then the end of the episode, they they come to find out shockingly like it didn't surprise me.

Speaker 3

I shouldn't have surprised to any right.

Speaker 2

That Maga Barbie Gretchen is like liking horrible anti trans posts.

Yeah, And I was just like, what the fuck?

And so then I was like watching I can't wait for the reunion, but I was watching like some bunch of YouTubers talking about it, and then they're trying to spin it where Tamar by the way, Todombala fatch this one.

She's got a lot of fucking nerve.

She's got a son who is outrageously fucking al right against trance.

Speaker 3

Like horrible, Like she's what is she talking about?

Speaker 2

Jesus loves the gay.

He's like, what the fuck?

Like she's got a lot of fucking nerve.

I don't know why nobody ever says that, and like why don't they call her out too, Like you got a lot of nerve?

Speaker 3

So years ago, her son Ryan went on this crazy you know, he's just a drug addict, criminal domestic violence against his ex, you know, broke her hand or something, you know, shocking, but he went on this diatribe about like murdering trans people.

Oh god.

But he at the same time, there was another thing that he went on a diatribe about, which was about a story that was like from the sun, like the you know whatever British tabloid about a woman who whose kid was five and they transitioned.

So he was going like what the fuck, like crazy, and Tama responded to that and was like, yeah, that's really sad.

That's way too young.

Okay.

But then he also like separately tweeted a crazy thing about that again what I said before.

So Tama posts and she's like, I am horrified by his thing.

I don't agree with that or whatever.

But she had already she did something else that he said, okay, so then she had to go like, now regarding my other comment, like that was just me being a concerned mom, like you know, so she kind of didn't really change her views exactly, Like she didn't educate herself, right, It really rubs me the wrong way.

Her whole thing is like I do not stand with my son on that.

That's horrible, Like that's not how I believe right yet, But she dident it about like, yeah, that's so sad.

That's way too young, you know.

Speaker 2

Right right now, it's like now they're trying to say that that by the way, Gretchen's the way she responded when they like, what did you think of her reaction when they confronted her, I was like, oh, yeah, she's totally like she's didn't even try to defend.

Speaker 3

She didn't.

Speaker 2

She just was like, what I don't understand.

I need to see what you're talking about.

Yeah, give me a fucking break, you know what they're talking about.

Speaker 3

Then she's like, that's crazy.

I didn't I've never even seen that before.

Then Gina in the sprinter van is like, well she does follow those accounts.

Remember when Gina goes, well, I can't find the actual post that you liked, because why because Slade went and unliked her unlow she sent him all the screenshots right right, wow.

But now dumb people are like, well, she's like, I think Tamra did this to me.

I think, you know, that's the whole thing.

They think Tamra was behind it because Tamra talked to some bloggers and leaked right episode, leeaked what was going to happen in the season, right, so Tamra, which I don't like any of them obviously, but Tamra was like, okay, yeah, sure.

So in twenty twenty three, where like a lot of these likes were from, I was able to see into the future and know that Gretchen was going to come back.

That was really the long cone exactly two years prior.

I was liking posts and also the posts that she liked.

Some of them were pretty egregious.

But some of them are just right wing talking points right right, like if you're going to frame.

Speaker 2

Somebody for shitty likes, deal a little better.

Of them are like kind of just things that like.

Speaker 3

Yeah, Republicans say right right, like gender ideology, like they're teaching kids they can choose their gender in elementary school.

These democrats have gone crazy.

I'm out, Yeah, Like, I don't think you would choose that one to go like, oh this will get that's true.

That is true, Yeah, that makes sense.

You would choose much worse things.

All of them were worse, right, saying, like right, if if the ones that are not that egregious are liked.

I think we can believe that the worst ones are.

Speaker 2

Also like exactly exactly.

Yeah, so did you find those posts on Reddit?

How do you find those posts?

All the things that she thretened in?

Yeah, just look it up on run reddit.

Just go look at just look up transphobic posts.

Speaker 3

I looked it up.

Speaker 2

Yeah, you'll see a whole all the screenshops.

Yeah, it's like Matt Walsh blog, which is just gross, right I saw that.

Yeah, yeah, it's it's like she's so dumb.

She is the dumbest.

Speaker 3

She's just like she's just like Jesus, you know, against this what I don't know, right, I don't think it's and what do you think you believe it all that she did that?

If Heather Debro was accused of that, or if even if it was like Gina or anybody else, you'd be like somebody made the comment, like if it was Lisa Rinna, like I don't.

Speaker 2

Think no, no, no, but it's Gretchen.

It's Gretchen, right, come on, she's not trying.

Speaker 3

To pretend to be anything else, right, So now she's gonna come with receipts and ship on the reunion.

I can't wait.

So she's not going to have any receipts.

I can't wait.

Very easy to go back and just unlike stuff.

Of course, right, we'll look up those accounts.

Go go look at.

Speaker 2

The Clearly Slade did that overnight while they were in Amsterdam.

Speaker 3

That's why the next is right right, Yeah, I think he did it.

This is what I think happened.

I think that the night before how she had been crying all night.

Yeah, I think that she knew this was going to come out, and she knew.

So Slade unliked stuff then, but wasn't smart enough to just unfollow the accounts, right, what a dumb ass.

Speaker 2

So when she got called out and they realized she was still following the accounts, then she had to try to come up with a strategy for se right.

Wow, that's so crazy.

They need a revamp at fucking OC.

Yeah, just just blow them all up.

Okay, before we go, I have a recommendation.

Speaker 3

Yes, for a podcast, you kind of you have to pay for it, but I just I just paid for it for one month, okay, and then you can like unfollow or whatever.

But it's called Beth Dead, okay, Okay, and it's just look up Beth, Beth found it, Beth's dead, got it.

Speaker 2

And you can decide listen to the first there's two episodes that are out that are free, okay, and if you want to listen to the rest of the season, which I was just like, fuck, I gotta know how this ends.

Speaker 3

Oh, I can't lay Monica of We know I'm not a huge Dax fan, but whatever.

Monica is his producer.

So she made a podcast about a podcast that apparently goes way back precedes us even It was called Totally Lame.

Speaker 2

I want to.

Speaker 3

Say l A.

I M okay.

This woman Elizabeth Lame I think her name is, and her husband Andy, and they had this podcast together and Monica was a big fan of this podcast, and then she had another one that was like a spin off to that after she had a kid called like totally Mommy something so totally lame and then Totally Mommy and talked about like life as a mom or whatever.

And Monica was upset because their podcasts like abruptly kind of stopped and then there's a story behind, like a scary thing happened, weird wow, fan of the podcast, and I was like Lynette and I similar experience.

Really just somebody that became like really obsessed with the podcast or a social relationship and things get real fucked up.

Oh my god, I can't.

I'm gonna listen on the way home.

It's really good.

And you know how normally we don't love.

Speaker 2

We don't love when there's a lot of like backumble background, but you're gonna like it on this one because they're just good broadcasters and it's interesting, okay.

Speaker 3

And you kind of want all the backstory.

Speaker 2

And the girl whose podcast it was just tells a lot about kind of where she was in her life during that time.

Speaker 3

She does a lot of the responding to the fan.

And they have a whole like web page.

I mean it was way back, so it was sort of like when you first started the parent experiment instead of like a Facebook group had web page.

Yeah, I rememberould go on there, and at one point they had like thousands of they would answer listener questions.

So they play all these clips in episode one of them giving advice and then they talk about like do they stand by that advice.

It's very good.

Speaker 2

Okay, I can't wait.

I trust your opinion.

Yeah, I'm going to listen, so you can just like buy the season.

Speaker 3

I will will Yeah.

Yeah.

I was like, I'm excited, got me, I'm excited.

All right.

Before we go, we have one more shout from last week, which was maybe we did them all?

Did we do them?

Woll okay?

So the ones that we do every episode holder Wide Foundation, you guys in honor of the Borderline shooting boys who were killed.

They've helped with this foundation and they do a thing and it's holder Wide dot org.

Go read about it.

Yeah.

Adam can get you a car.

He's a car broker.

Adam's got a car dot com.

Speaker 2

Speaker 3
