Episode Transcript
[SPEAKER_07]: robots radio, games, lore, stories, community, just press play.
[SPEAKER_07]: Welcome to the Fallout lorecast.
[SPEAKER_07]: The podcast that explores the boundaries of our knowledge about the world of Fallout.
[SPEAKER_07]: Adventures.
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, that's what I say for the Elder Scrolls.
[SPEAKER_07]: I got distracted because Rick subscribes.
[SPEAKER_07]: So, thank you Rick for the sub.
[SPEAKER_07]: Wastelanders involved while there's welcome back to the Fallout lorecast.
[SPEAKER_07]: It is the end of the month.
[SPEAKER_07]: It's actually the end of the month for us because it is the thirty of right now.
[SPEAKER_07]: And I have my patrons joining me to discuss [SPEAKER_07]: creating characters in a fallout tabletop role playing game and what type of characters that we would create.
[SPEAKER_07]: And this is going to be fun because the options there's actually a lot of different options.
[SPEAKER_07]: Everything from vault dwellers to ghouls to super mutants to [SPEAKER_07]: Harry death clause in Robo brains and all sorts of fun things.
[SPEAKER_07]: So this is going to be great.
[SPEAKER_07]: We've got to cast with us and I'm of course excited to talk to all of them.
[SPEAKER_07]: But also by the way, this episode is coming out not this week because I have interviews from GCX that are coming up at just a few days when that this week's episode drops.
[SPEAKER_07]: So the episode will be up next week for anybody wondering.
[SPEAKER_07]: Here we go.
[SPEAKER_07]: Let's get into it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Welcome back to a bunch of faces that I've seen before and a bunch of faces that are new.
[SPEAKER_07]: Welcome everybody.
[SPEAKER_07]: We've got Lil Green and Pumpkin and Germinator, Void, Nova, what is name?
[SPEAKER_07]: Andy and Ebony Kitty.
[SPEAKER_07]: Welcome to the show everybody.
[SPEAKER_07]: So excited to have you all here.
[SPEAKER_07]: And we're going to do sometimes I do the little thing where we count down at the beginning and then everybody makes a funny sound.
[SPEAKER_07]: I want you to make a sound that would be the kind of thing that your character might say in the type of voice that the character might have.
[SPEAKER_07]: And we're going to do it all the same time.
[SPEAKER_07]: So it's going to be a mess.
[SPEAKER_07]: But it'll be a little bit of hints and see where things are going with everybody.
[SPEAKER_07]: So ready on the count of three, get ready to unmute.
[SPEAKER_07]: In fact, go ahead and unmute.
[SPEAKER_07]: One, two, three.
[SPEAKER_00]: Should it go you say a place from [SPEAKER_07]: Okay, that was a mess.
[SPEAKER_07]: Then welcome everybody.
[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you for being here.
[SPEAKER_07]: Void.
[SPEAKER_07]: In the pre show, you said that you would like to go first.
[SPEAKER_07]: And let me before we begin talking about your character.
[SPEAKER_07]: Let me explain this to everybody just a little bit.
[SPEAKER_07]: In fallout, the video games, which many of you are familiar with, you can only really be [SPEAKER_07]: A limited selection of character designs.
[SPEAKER_07]: It's not like you can design like we can now design ourselves as a Google in Seventy six, but that's a very new thing, but you can't be a super mutant or a robot and those kinds of things, but you can if you play fallout in tabletop.
[SPEAKER_07]: And so that's the idea is we are all building characters as if we're about to start a tabletop adventure, which we aren't, but who knows one of the ideas I had after this came up and shot was like [SPEAKER_07]: What if we just played like, you know, in our imaginations kind of tabletop version of the game in a patron chat in a future episode, which could be a lot of fun.
[SPEAKER_07]: So keep these characters around.
[SPEAKER_07]: But void, what kind of character will you design?
[SPEAKER_07]: What is your character like?
[SPEAKER_07]: What is their race or kinds of things?
[SPEAKER_07]: Are they focusing on?
[SPEAKER_07]: Do they have a backstory?
[SPEAKER_07]: What's their name?
[SPEAKER_07]: All of that stuff.
[SPEAKER_07]: Take us on a little journey here.
[SPEAKER_05]: So they don't really have a backstory.
[SPEAKER_05]: Mainly because it's a super mutant.
[SPEAKER_05]: And so what the super mutant is meant to be more of a boss type character, like boss of a, like, one of the super mutant settlements.
[SPEAKER_05]: He almost exclusively uses, oh, what's it called, melee weapons?
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_05]: Does he have a name?
[SPEAKER_07]: So when he sells his name, at the beginning, so we can call him something.
[SPEAKER_07]: His name is Gong.
[SPEAKER_07]: Gong, that's great.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's a good see for me.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I like that.
[SPEAKER_05]: and he exclusively uses melee weapons so he can just gong people and he has a super sledge and a and twelve grenades twelve specifically twelve grenades [SPEAKER_05]: Well, it asks for an amount, so I just put twelve.
[SPEAKER_05]: Sure.
[SPEAKER_05]: And then he has a piece of gutter off of somebody's house, and it's made out of like really thin, flimsy aluminum, so it really doesn't do jack shit.
[SPEAKER_05]: And then he has a full suit of X-o-one power armor that he doesn't need a frame for because he just puts it on like regular armor.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_07]: I like that.
[SPEAKER_07]: So he's but he's like a regular regular sized Superman.
[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, he's the leader of something as he bigger than the others.
[SPEAKER_07]: Is he a behemoth?
[SPEAKER_07]: There's just a regular one.
[SPEAKER_05]: He wouldn't say he's a behemoth, but I would definitely say he's a bit like [SPEAKER_05]: stronger than an average super mutant.
[SPEAKER_05]: He's got a strength of ten and a endurance of ten and a agility of ten.
[SPEAKER_05]: Well, all of his other specials are force.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, they're all like a baseline for followed to the twenty.
[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
[SPEAKER_07]: So it was kind of a dummy bad luck.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: All the other stuff.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Now, how did, I mean, you said he doesn't really have a backstory, but he has to have something going for him, being that he's a leader of this group.
[SPEAKER_07]: Do you have in mind how he became leader?
[SPEAKER_07]: Did he have to like kill the previous leader to assert his dominance or like how did that work out?
[SPEAKER_05]: Basically he was shunned from his original basically sect.
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to call it of colony of super mutants.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, colony.
[SPEAKER_07]: What is a group of super mutants called?
[SPEAKER_07]: It can't be a murder because it's like a pro, right?
[SPEAKER_07]: Like a pro is a flock of sea goals.
[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know, this is a good question, chat.
[SPEAKER_07]: If you guys know what a group of super mutants is called, let us know.
[SPEAKER_07]: But yeah, from his, his clan, whatever whatever it is.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so he was basically shun from his previous clan.
[SPEAKER_05]: And so he just went out on his own and it up surviving long enough to find a functional suit of exo one power armor.
[SPEAKER_05]: and he came back to that clan and basically killed the original leader killed all the people that were loyal to him and everybody that was terrified of him just basically melt and [SPEAKER_05]: Um, okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: Did he find something that gave him the ability to do this?
[SPEAKER_07]: Was there like a special weapon or some sort of adverse thing he overcame in order to be stronger than than the other ones?
[SPEAKER_07]: I feel like there's always this like, uh, some sort of culmination that like, or training montage in like an old movie, you know?
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, well, I mean alongside the XO one, he found he did find the super sledge.
[SPEAKER_05]: But before he even found those, he was basically just biting off the wasteland.
[SPEAKER_05]: And this is how he became strong enough to survive on his own.
[SPEAKER_05]: Whereas, normal supermittons, I don't know that they were really survived the wasteland alone.
[SPEAKER_07]: Right, they were lying on their communities.
[SPEAKER_07]: Newcast in chat says, I think it's called a war band in the tabletop.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, so that makes sense.
[SPEAKER_07]: Supermitton war band.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, let's open this up.
[SPEAKER_07]: Does anybody else have any questions for void for gunk?
[SPEAKER_07]: I see what is raising your hand.
[SPEAKER_07]: Go ahead.
[SPEAKER_07]: What?
[SPEAKER_03]: So my question is about the the XO on power armor.
[SPEAKER_03]: How is he actually wearing it?
[SPEAKER_03]: So you say he just puts it on, right?
[SPEAKER_03]: Doesn't need the frame or anything.
[SPEAKER_03]: But if he's larger than a typical super mutant, I don't really [SPEAKER_05]: You know, I kind of, he just kind of slips it on whether it fits or not.
[SPEAKER_05]: Like if it doesn't fit then it just splits it a seam weld and just is there by tension then.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, a lot of super means will just kind of like wear things as armor even though they don't fit.
[SPEAKER_07]: They just kind of like rope them to their bodies.
[SPEAKER_07]: You know, so I would imagine it's like pieces of the power armor just like in spots.
[SPEAKER_07]: Maybe not even in the right spots, you know, like just kind of hodgepodge together on him.
[SPEAKER_03]: And so also, so you said his weapon is a, that's a gutter.
[SPEAKER_05]: No, his main weapon is a super sledge that he found along.
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, that's right.
[SPEAKER_05]: One guy.
[SPEAKER_05]: But the gutter is for when the super sledge either breaks or like he hit somebody too hard with it or something like that where it goes flying because it's a rocket-powered sledge hammer.
[SPEAKER_05]: Um, yeah.
[SPEAKER_05]: No, the gutter is basically just a funny little bit that I, I, I, I want to.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Who else has questions?
[SPEAKER_07]: Any other questions?
[SPEAKER_07]: Feel free to just toss them out to void.
[SPEAKER_07]: Anyone else have thoughts or questions about this character?
[SPEAKER_07]: Nobody?
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I see Ebony Ebony Kitty.
[SPEAKER_06]: What are you thinking?
[SPEAKER_06]: Where about like wasteland wise?
[SPEAKER_06]: Would you say they're set?
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, where do they live?
[SPEAKER_06]: Are they in the capital waste?
[SPEAKER_07]: Are they?
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to say in Chicago.
[SPEAKER_05]: Chicago, you know that we have an on-click base in Chicago.
[SPEAKER_07]: Mm.
[SPEAKER_07]: So it was this was this the result of the on-click base specifically?
[SPEAKER_07]: His music.
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to say it was like an outpost of the on-click base.
[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
[SPEAKER_05]: Back on the XO one in.
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, so the location of the armor, but what about being a super mutant at all was was this was your character the result of a of direct experiment by that on-click?
[SPEAKER_07]: No, maybe.
[SPEAKER_07]: We, wheels are turning.
[SPEAKER_05]: We're guarding how long it takes to level up, like level up strength and everything like that within the games.
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to say that he traveled from like the Boston area in the Commonwealth area over [SPEAKER_05]: over all the states through that wasteland which we have no clue what even lies in there.
[SPEAKER_05]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_05]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_05]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_05]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_05]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_05]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_05]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_05]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_05]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_05]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_05]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_05]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_05]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_05]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_05]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Now, no other questions.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right, so we've got gunk the super moon.
[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you, Void.
[SPEAKER_07]: Starting us off with a super moon.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's always a good choice.
[SPEAKER_07]: Who would like to go next?
[SPEAKER_07]: Who are we adding to this group?
[SPEAKER_07]: It would be funny if we combined all of these into a party at some point and had some sort of justification for why they all end up in the same place and work together.
[SPEAKER_07]: Evan and Katie, I see your hand.
[SPEAKER_07]: Actually, you know what?
[SPEAKER_07]: In the pre-show, Pumpkin was wanted to go first, but ended up saying that Void could go first.
[SPEAKER_09]: So let's...
Evan and Katie can go.
[SPEAKER_09]: I've got a couple more things on it.
[SPEAKER_09]: Okay, okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: So pumpkin still finishing up his Ebony.
[SPEAKER_07]: What are you?
[SPEAKER_07]: What kind of character are you building?
[SPEAKER_08]: So mine would be a swamp folk, which I assume are my or lurk type the humanoid swamp folk.
[SPEAKER_07]: I believe are like the people in what was the what was the DLC where they're up in the swamp?
[SPEAKER_07]: What was that called?
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: So they're like the redneck point pleasant swamp people.
[SPEAKER_08]: When look at it, yes, they still be swamped folk, but mine would be set in Nashville.
[SPEAKER_08]: The best pro shop pyramid.
[SPEAKER_08]: The character's name would be Thesis.
[SPEAKER_08]: The leader of group that they're from is named Poseidon because you have the Parthenon in that real.
[SPEAKER_08]: So they would essentially it is just DCS uses a Triden as a weapon has aqua boy big leagues.
[SPEAKER_08]: It is essentially is on a quest to become the king of Athens.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_07]: Athens, Georgia, like they're on a journey from one place to another.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, or Athens like actual Greece Athens like Greece Athens like I have all Head Canon for Nashville, but is essentially they're wanting to take over the part the part and on Okay, right away over in Greece somewhere Who even knows if it's still there because the replica in Nashville.
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh the replica in Nashville.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay got it got it [SPEAKER_07]: All right, I love that they all have Greek names that they're all pulling from mythology.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's pretty cool.
[SPEAKER_07]: Um, any other details?
[SPEAKER_07]: Have any kitty?
[SPEAKER_07]: Anything else going on?
[SPEAKER_07]: Like, what do they look like?
[SPEAKER_08]: Um, they, they, they look kind of my own, my or lorky, but humanoid.
[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: So what does that mean?
[SPEAKER_07]: Are they like, they're just always wet and sweaty or do they have like, I guess they always, they are always wet and sweaty.
[SPEAKER_08]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_08]: So they, they, you're kind of slimy to texture.
[SPEAKER_08]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_08]: Okay, I assume they probably, they live almost symbiotically with my artwork.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, like they're, they're swamp people who actually legitimately live in the swamp.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Do they do they have like a mirror look pet?
[SPEAKER_08]: No, but they do.
[SPEAKER_08]: They fight with their trident in a way that mimics myorgs.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, myorgs don't have tridents.
[SPEAKER_07]: So when you say that doesn't mean do you mean like like their claws?
[SPEAKER_08]: So kind of like the kings how they have their very aggressive.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: interesting.
[SPEAKER_07]: Do they have a last name or it was the easiest, right?
[SPEAKER_07]: Was it the easiest?
[SPEAKER_07]: Just the easiest.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: Was, uh, did they have a last name?
[SPEAKER_07]: Or is it just the easiest?
[SPEAKER_07]: Just the easiest.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: Um, this is a very interesting character.
[SPEAKER_07]: I can kind of visualize what you're, what you're describing here.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Let's open this up.
[SPEAKER_07]: Who has questions about the easiest?
[SPEAKER_07]: Anybody have questions?
[SPEAKER_07]: Nobody, and you guys are not very inquisitive today.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I have like no question about more like an idea.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like an outpost.
[SPEAKER_00]: They both like very like not like Caesar's leech and like taking all the stuff from from [SPEAKER_00]: Roman mythology and building up stuff but like more like using very cheap movie props to build up their settlement with like plastic pillars and stuff like this like it's more looking like Disney Hacles movie or something like this but in the swamps [SPEAKER_07]: Right, yeah, yeah, they're like pull a bunch of old props and things and set them up.
[SPEAKER_07]: So it feels kind of like a classic, like designed place, like ancient Greece or Rome.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like I've been a couple of times to America and as a European, it's always fun to see how like American people imagine European culture and like imitating it and like restaurants and especially in Las Vegas.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, so there's like these How's it called this Italian place like made like Venice?
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, was it called yeah, yeah, there's a there's a Venice there's like there's one place that has a number of different places like you have like a little Paris and then you have like a like oh yeah Yeah, it was like if this big casino hotel all look like Venice and it's fun if you have been to the original place the American place [SPEAKER_00]: Almost looks better and cleaner than the original MS.
[SPEAKER_07]: Right, because it's all been, like, attended to by, you see, you know, staff rather than just, like, the people from regular city.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but everything feels like very, like, not natural, but kind of looks better in an imagination way.
[SPEAKER_07]: Like, a little cartini, like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I get a totally get where you're saying.
[SPEAKER_07]: If you go to theme parks, it feels kind of the same way.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, I have kind of that.
[SPEAKER_07]: and then you go to the different, you tour the different places to go.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah, that totally makes sense.
[SPEAKER_07]: What do you think about that Ebony kitty?
[SPEAKER_07]: They're pulling props and kind of building their own approximation of like a classical looking-looking place.
[SPEAKER_06]: That, yes, that's exactly what I had in mind.
[SPEAKER_06]: Cool, cool.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: What are they focused on with their stats again?
[SPEAKER_07]: Or did you say that?
[SPEAKER_08]: The stats were melee repair and speech because DCS was known to be a very melee because he killed the mentor.
[SPEAKER_08]: Speech because he was a very charismatic king.
[SPEAKER_08]: And what was the other one I said, um, melee speech and repair.
[SPEAKER_07]: And then repair just the difficult I like for a player.
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, it also makes sense if he's kind of constructing his own place.
[SPEAKER_07]: He would need a pair in order to do that.
[SPEAKER_07]: So yeah, that tracks that tracks.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, cool.
[SPEAKER_07]: Any other questions?
[SPEAKER_07]: Anyone else?
[SPEAKER_07]: No, I think we're good on this one.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right, Thesis is fun.
[SPEAKER_07]: Rick and chat says, Rick Retro and chat says Thesis needs a ship, which I also agree.
[SPEAKER_07]: Does he have a ship?
[SPEAKER_07]: Do you understand the reference Thesis's ship?
[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, yes.
[SPEAKER_07]: The idea that you replace a ship piece by piece, at what point is it no longer the same ship?
[SPEAKER_07]: Does he have a ship or is it his home that gets replaced piece by piece?
[SPEAKER_08]: Yes, I would assume the pyramid would probably be named the third, it would probably be the pyramid of Thesis?
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nice because that doesn't even like a jumble of like Egyptian and Greek together.
[SPEAKER_07]: And so that totally feels fall out of you, right?
[SPEAKER_07]: Like they don't have a real sense of history.
[SPEAKER_07]: So they just kind of mash stuff together and like, yeah, this seems right.
[SPEAKER_07]: I like that.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right, have any kitty good one?
[SPEAKER_07]: Who would like to go next?
[SPEAKER_07]: Pumpkin, are you ready?
[SPEAKER_07]: Are you ready yet?
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I think I'm ready.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, what kind of character are you going with?
[SPEAKER_07]: So I got a goal.
[SPEAKER_09]: A goal, okay.
[SPEAKER_09]: My goal's name is goggles.
[SPEAKER_09]: Goggles the goal.
[SPEAKER_09]: So everyone knows that a lot of ghouls don't use their real name after a time.
[SPEAKER_09]: They just kind of make a make up name and that's what they go back.
[SPEAKER_09]: That's what that's what goggles.
[SPEAKER_09]: goggles is a free is a three board goal who was a mechanic in the military.
[SPEAKER_09]: Now he was terrible at being a mechanic, but he was great at bartering out of out of things.
[SPEAKER_09]: So at the day the bombs were falling, he was given a [SPEAKER_09]: He was given a job to take a vehicle, a big truck to a dump site.
[SPEAKER_09]: And in this truck is lots of just nuclear waste.
[SPEAKER_09]: But as he's getting it from A to B, he goes through a tunnel.
[SPEAKER_09]: But as he's entering the tunnel, that's when the bombs go off and the tunnel collapses.
[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_09]: He is now trapped in this car for six years.
[SPEAKER_09]: He lived off of one week of food before he started the glorification process that he had in his lunch bag.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's a lot of food in the lunch bag, but okay.
[SPEAKER_09]: Now, you know, years go by, then he gets let out.
[SPEAKER_09]: He gets let out of the whole, but someone hears his radio playing, because somehow that's the only thing keeping him saying.
[SPEAKER_09]: someone digs about wondering what's the sound.
[SPEAKER_09]: He gets out and he's still like he's not okay.
[SPEAKER_09]: Definitely not mentally all there.
[SPEAKER_09]: But he's saying enough to be like, you know, I'm not going to kill you right now.
[SPEAKER_07]: It's not that feral.
[SPEAKER_07]: But he's mentally damaged the way anybody who would be in solitude for six years would be.
[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_09]: He still has all the power that all the like things of like he can still barter.
[SPEAKER_09]: He's good at speech.
[SPEAKER_09]: He's able to talk his way out of things.
[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_09]: Now nowadays, he's, you know, he works in a store as just, you know, he's kind of like a traveling merchant, but he still is like, you know, he can go on, he can help a player with missions, all that kind of thing.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: Cool.
[SPEAKER_07]: Cool.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's a, that's an interesting backstory.
[SPEAKER_07]: What, what are his stats?
[SPEAKER_07]: Like, what is he focused on?
[SPEAKER_09]: So his statism [SPEAKER_09]: So, again, it's not very strong.
[SPEAKER_09]: His charisma was put up to about a seven.
[SPEAKER_09]: His perceptions a little low.
[SPEAKER_09]: So, like, like I said, he's not a very good mechanic.
[SPEAKER_09]: So, I don't remember the exact numbers, but it was like, his strength was at a five.
[SPEAKER_09]: His endurance was at a four, six, seven.
[SPEAKER_09]: Like basically it's a speech bill.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: Um, does it what the kind of weapons and things does he does he still go with?
[SPEAKER_09]: He normally carries a wrap.
[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_09]: Sorry.
[SPEAKER_09]: He normally carries a wrap carries around the combat shotgun just because he doesn't need too much, but he's carries around the combat shotgun.
[SPEAKER_09]: And he usually keeps a decent amount of caps on him because he's, you know, he trades.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, so yeah, that makes sense.
[SPEAKER_07]: So here's a question.
[SPEAKER_07]: His name's goggles is there a backstory for how he got his name goggles.
[SPEAKER_09]: So one of the things that she did to help him stay sane was that he kept meaning his goggles.
[SPEAKER_09]: Like it was like kind of just he had goggles on him when he went in.
[SPEAKER_09]: And as he gets out, he just keeps him on him.
[SPEAKER_09]: And he basically wears his goggles, twenty four seven.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_07]: Does that mean that like his face has gulfed around the goggles?
[SPEAKER_07]: He's like, takes him off.
[SPEAKER_07]: If you were to take him off, would they be like the skin on the inside would be like, paler and like, well, he's already gone.
[SPEAKER_09]: So like, you know, a ghoul's eye, like, it's gone around there.
[SPEAKER_09]: So it's just a little deeper in.
[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Or maybe maybe there's like the flesh inside where the goggles go has like all, like, [SPEAKER_09]: Warner, like a leathery texture.
[SPEAKER_07]: Or what I'm thinking is maybe maybe even just goes straight to the skull like this.
[SPEAKER_09]: I'm just gonna like that.
[SPEAKER_09]: He doesn't wear that much, but like he wears it a lot.
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, like very, very smooth and human, like very beautiful eyes behind the goggles.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Something else is rotting away.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah, that would be the flip side.
[SPEAKER_07]: The goggles have preserved the skin in there, and for some reason the rest of it is all, you know, the most beautiful eyes you ever seen.
[SPEAKER_07]: Right, like you can imagine a moment in a movie or something with this character, where he finally takes off the goggles, and then like the woman love interest, finally notices beautiful eyes or something.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like the, uh, the Goulash Equivalent to like opening the pony tail off the note girl.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, I'll have said, and she's beautiful because she let her hair down.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, but he is also one of the very few people that can use mysterious stranger.
[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, okay.
[SPEAKER_09]: Why is that?
[SPEAKER_09]: So yeah, but other than that, that's really goggle.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's goggles.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, but do we not know why he can use the mysterious stranger?
[SPEAKER_07]: Is there is there a backspot?
[SPEAKER_09]: He really doesn't know.
[SPEAKER_09]: He kind of thinks he developed it while stuck in the truck.
[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_09]: Weird, okay.
[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, he's not fully there.
[SPEAKER_09]: So like he's just him seeing it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's that's how he tried to stay sane was that he imagined somebody else there.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's the mysterious stranger, right?
[SPEAKER_09]: So turns out it's an actual.
[SPEAKER_07]: It's actually real.
[SPEAKER_07]: Like every so often he thought he would hear voices from outside his like hole.
[SPEAKER_07]: He was stuck in turns out it was actually a real person and that person's been trying to help them out for a long time, but couldn't actually dig him out until somebody else showed up with like the right tools or something.
[SPEAKER_07]: And again, that's goggles.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, sweet.
[SPEAKER_07]: I like this.
[SPEAKER_07]: I like goggles.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Let's open this up.
[SPEAKER_07]: Any other questions or thoughts about goggles?
[SPEAKER_07]: Any anything that you guys would be like, oh, this would be a fun tweak or something.
[SPEAKER_07]: You could change or just find out more about Nova.
[SPEAKER_07]: Go ahead.
[SPEAKER_10]: Does it like any weird quirks that I have in a like a result of him being isolated for so long?
[SPEAKER_10]: Where he goes like occasionally feral or is he for the most part sane?
[SPEAKER_10]: It is he does at any source or weird.
[SPEAKER_09]: So for the most part he's saying, but every so often you'll kind of just see him talking, nobody around, he'll just start, like he's like he'll talk like he's in a conversation.
[SPEAKER_10]: Is it is the act like he was coming up with specific person or is it just like all people from the past?
[SPEAKER_09]: It's just an open conversation.
[SPEAKER_09]: He's like he's looking at something that's not there.
[SPEAKER_09]: And he's just talking.
[SPEAKER_07]: Now is it like a random of sort of in a thing that he just responds to that he's hallucinating or is it always the mysterious strange?
[SPEAKER_07]: It's randomized.
[SPEAKER_09]: So like think of like [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that, yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
[SPEAKER_07]: So sometimes it's like a, it could be a memory or sometimes it's just something else that he thinks is there that just isn't there or whatever.
[SPEAKER_07]: It's just kind of random.
[SPEAKER_07]: Cool cool cool cool.
[SPEAKER_10]: And what is doing the possible world now?
[SPEAKER_10]: Like what's this job?
[SPEAKER_10]: Or like, how does this?
[SPEAKER_07]: He's a trader.
[SPEAKER_07]: He's a member of the traveling, a traveling.
[SPEAKER_07]: So he's a traveling merchant.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: Does he have a like a specific pack animal?
[SPEAKER_07]: Does he have like a Brahmin or something else?
[SPEAKER_09]: He likes to be like, he likes to be harder.
[SPEAKER_09]: That's a big thing.
[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_09]: All right.
[SPEAKER_10]: And he's still trying to peddle himself off his repair man or is he giving up that stick with him?
[SPEAKER_09]: He had he had the option for you to repair that for him to repair your stuff, but it doesn't do much.
[SPEAKER_09]: It's like five.
[SPEAKER_09]: It's really bad.
[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_09]: It's like a five percent.
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh my god.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's great.
[SPEAKER_07]: Thanks, thanks for it's it's basically he just shines up the weapon and hands it back to you.
[SPEAKER_07]: This isn't actually fix anything.
[SPEAKER_10]: It's just shine here.
[SPEAKER_04]: So with him constantly cleaning his glasses, how much of the glasses actually left is he actually won't hold through them.
[SPEAKER_09]: So the lens is no longer exist.
[SPEAKER_09]: So they're just for ten lenses.
[SPEAKER_09]: So again, if he's not there, he's still like he's acting like they're there.
[SPEAKER_07]: I like it.
[SPEAKER_07]: I like it.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Also, what is his range for his, his caravan?
[SPEAKER_07]: Like where is he stationed and what kind of thing is he goes where the money is.
[SPEAKER_07]: So has he traveled across the entire country?
[SPEAKER_10]: Has he traveled into like, he has traveled back and forth a few times.
[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_10]: So we're saying he's a jet merchant probably.
[SPEAKER_10]: Uh-huh.
[SPEAKER_10]: It's probably just sells jet because if he goes, well, that's one of the theories is to why the caps spread all around the country was because of jet.
[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
[SPEAKER_10]: Right.
[SPEAKER_07]: So, yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: It would make sense as a ghoul too that you would trade in camps.
[SPEAKER_07]: Cool.
[SPEAKER_07]: This is a good one, Pumpkin.
[SPEAKER_07]: Anyone else sending final questions?
[SPEAKER_07]: Any final thoughts, Pumpkin?
[SPEAKER_07]: Anything else?
[SPEAKER_07]: Nope.
[SPEAKER_07]: Pumpkin's good.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Cool.
[SPEAKER_07]: Let's move on.
[SPEAKER_07]: Who would like to go next?
[SPEAKER_07]: Next on the list.
[SPEAKER_07]: We've got Andy Andy.
[SPEAKER_07]: First of all, welcome to the show.
[SPEAKER_07]: So glad you decided to join us and thanks for staying up late.
[SPEAKER_07]: I know it's a, and you're part of the world.
[SPEAKER_07]: It's like the very middle of the night early morning.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, it's three a.m.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like on a training course with my company.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm on a hotel.
[SPEAKER_00]: Still being my family on anything.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's pretty good.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go, let's go.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm glad to be here.
[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, we're playing, we're in Germany, we're playing like the Waston Warfare miniature game and it's all set in Oklahoma.
[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, I've been into the States like a lot.
[SPEAKER_00]: And my home base was in Oklahoma City all the time.
[SPEAKER_00]: So we decided to set up our setting there for campaign.
[SPEAKER_00]: But like parallel to our like miniature game, we tried to get into the D-twenty pen and paper game.
[SPEAKER_00]: I always think it's interesting that we don't know that much about like Europe or the state of Europe and the fallout universe.
[SPEAKER_00]: I really like that they keep it in the shadows and don't like flesh it out that much.
[SPEAKER_00]: So my character idea is like a DDR spy.
[SPEAKER_00]: So like a little history lesson.
[SPEAKER_00]: Germany was like after the Second World War was split on half, we had like these American British and Russian Zone and the Russian Zone.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like from the Soviets was like a real-life socialist experiment I would say.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, and for my idea for Fallout was like the DDR, so the German Democratic Republic, the socialist part of Germany, never faded away.
[SPEAKER_00]: We had like a ninety-nine, we had like the big reunion of Germany.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the only art I love that stuff.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so in my idea it was the other way around and followed.
[SPEAKER_00]: So it's a capitalist part of Germany.
[SPEAKER_00]: It was like joining the DDR to be a socialist.
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_00]: with all the evolution of the world and how the world changed and the followed universe and we had this big civil war in Europe.
[SPEAKER_00]: So they were like socialist and more connected to the communist party.
[SPEAKER_00]: This feels so wide away.
[SPEAKER_07]: Just a chime in.
[SPEAKER_07]: This feels like a very fallout, kind of alternate history event.
[SPEAKER_07]: I like where you go with this.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we had like this German movie goodbye leaning and there was like it takes place while German you were reuniting and it was from the point of view from like citizens of the DDR [SPEAKER_00]: So from the Eastern Germany part, and their grandpa was like dying, and this reunion was like almost there, but their grandpa was like a die-hard socialist, so for him created the story that it was the other way around.
[SPEAKER_00]: So that his dreams not fade away when he was dying.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he was like, oh yeah, the capitalist assholes.
[SPEAKER_00]: We were rising up, so it was the other way around.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like a dramatic comedy movie from Germany, so that was my idea.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the DDR, obviously, it's sent like a spy to America to check out these vaults.
[SPEAKER_00]: company, so my character is Harald Gork and Schmidt, while they changed his name to English, so he's not getting that much attention, so he's Harold Cucumber Smith.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's great.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's like getting into like a wall take and It's gonna he's gonna be a vaultweller and He's very young at a very promising young spy But like some month after he get into the United States get it get his secret secret identity Yeah, the great war happens and he was like stuck in that place and [SPEAKER_07]: Okay, this is a specific vault or is it just kind of a generic one?
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, we were like we were like I said we want to set up all the stuff in Oklahoma, but it's pretty generic.
[SPEAKER_00]: We can we can put him put him everywhere anywhere we want.
[SPEAKER_00]: Got it got it.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he got into a vault and it's like set there with this very patriotic like [SPEAKER_00]: capitalist brainwashed Americans and he's like socialist socialized Yeah, so he's like stuck there and had this very different mindset and Yeah, it is his first Abroad mission and he tries to Yeah, make a living in the in the waste lands after he get out of the wall and everything is his fucked so he's like oh man I'm here with all the people I hate and try to make a living [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think that's a nice idea and got all these German flicks to bring in so when we play Fallout it's like a very American game to play and a lot of my my friends I'm playing the pen and paper and the miniature game with [SPEAKER_00]: never been to the United States so it's a very good way to transport like followed ideas with German influence and German history so we can mix it up and they feel a little bit more home with these characters and stuff.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, blended all together.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's something I'm very interested in as an American playing fallout.
[SPEAKER_07]: It feels very normal.
[SPEAKER_07]: It's a very American focused game, at least so far.
[SPEAKER_07]: Who knows, maybe we'll get other locations in the future, but it doesn't go very far outside of the US.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I hope they can get them from the perspective.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's one thing about, for example, for Warham of Forty Kay, they flashing out so much of these stories said was like, [SPEAKER_00]: in the shadows and not pay attention that much in the past and now they are like opening it up and I don't think that's a good idea.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's always nice for the players to have a little bit a little story where they can use their own imagination.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, as a German name is Harald.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I would change it up to Harald.
[SPEAKER_00]: Harald, right.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and Gorken Schmidt is like cucumber is Gorker.
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_00]: And Smith was like the black Smith.
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, there's a lot of people in the US who came from like, I don't know, England, with Louis Smith, right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's very common.
[SPEAKER_07]: So that makes sense.
[SPEAKER_07]: Cucumber Smith, I love it.
[SPEAKER_07]: So is he still in Oklahoma?
[SPEAKER_07]: Is he still in that area?
[SPEAKER_07]: Is this setting say within the lifetime of somebody after the bomb stop or is there something that causes him to be able to continue living on past that?
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah, it's like our our campaign is set between followed one and two.
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, yeah, his fault got opened.
[SPEAKER_00]: We are not there.
[SPEAKER_00]: So our campaign started in California and it's a road to OKC.
[SPEAKER_00]: So they have to manage to get through half of the country to get Oklahoma.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it may be a bomb hit the vault or something.
[SPEAKER_00]: So it's opened up.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, okay, so I'm there at this point.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Let's fun.
[SPEAKER_07]: This is a lot of detail.
[SPEAKER_07]: You put into this.
[SPEAKER_07]: Let's open this up.
[SPEAKER_07]: Who has any questions or thoughts on this?
[SPEAKER_10]: Why Oklahoma is specifically?
[SPEAKER_10]: That's one of those bland states you can imagine.
[SPEAKER_10]: Because we tornadoes.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's very bland.
[SPEAKER_00]: We need it.
[SPEAKER_00]: And a lot of nice people.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I've spent a lot of time there.
[SPEAKER_10]: I know I live pretty close to it.
[SPEAKER_10]: I've been there quite often.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, see.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like at punk rock bowling, two thousand and thirteen in Las Vegas and met some very nice people from Oklahoma City.
[SPEAKER_00]: I hadn't any place to go.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I joined with them.
[SPEAKER_00]: I've been in war.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah it's more like that I have spent like month and month there so I have a lot a lot to say about Oklahoma or know the places and they got these brick city so like red brick buildings in the downtown Oklahoma city so that's a pretty nice thing to build for miniature game [SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, I think it's the place in America.
[SPEAKER_00]: I have the most knowledge about.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I like it because all the time I went to the US, the border.
[SPEAKER_00]: Is it the border police or border patrol?
[SPEAKER_00]: The first people you talk to when you're like a foreign at the airport.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they always were like, where are you going guy?
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, yeah, I'm going to Oklahoma City.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they were like, what the fuck?
[SPEAKER_00]: What are you going to do in Oklahoma?
[SPEAKER_00]: Why?
[SPEAKER_00]: What is a German doing in Oklahoma?
[SPEAKER_00]: And that was like, [SPEAKER_00]: The sentence, what is a German doing in Oklahoma was the idea for the character?
[SPEAKER_07]: Which is quite a funny, because I bet if you pulled the majority of people who live in Oklahoma, at least half the population probably has a German background.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it will probably.
[SPEAKER_00]: People tell you all the time, though, or my ancestors.
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Americans, because we're all this odd podge, we all like to say, oh, my family is from there.
[SPEAKER_07]: But the people who still live there, look at you, know you're American, like what's wrong with you.
[SPEAKER_00]: And also, it's like, it's like very, like, central in the country.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't see why a lot of atomic bombs should have been sent there.
[SPEAKER_00]: So it's probably not that damaged at all.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's a interesting idea.
[SPEAKER_07]: Unless there's like a military base near the city or in the city, places like Oklahoma City would be much lower on the priority list.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but you could you can play around with ideas like radiation tornadoes and stuff like this Yeah, let's say Oklahoma's dead center in the middle of tornado alley, so there will be a lot of red news around there Yeah, yeah red natives and stuff like this.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's a lot of pretty cool thing and you have this red desert all around and yeah [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, my idea is build like a lot of places I have been to in the Fallout universe for the Ninja game.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like I always say that the bar call to Lost Highway and they have like as a logo as a sign that have like flying, how is it called like the thing aliens?
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, UFO as a logo and that's pretty followedish.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I want to play to to build that place in the the tabletop miniature game.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, cool stuff.
[SPEAKER_07]: Also, real quick, I have to point this out.
[SPEAKER_07]: I have a feeling that Pumpkin and Void are in a vault where every so often they swap physical appearances.
[SPEAKER_07]: I think that's probably what's happening right now.
[SPEAKER_07]: Anybody who's listening on the audio platform is not going to notice the fact that they are now in each other's webcams and have the clearly in the same place that I'm swapped and there's just been sitting there waiting for us to notice.
[SPEAKER_07]: So this is very fun.
[SPEAKER_07]: Let's open this up.
[SPEAKER_07]: Any other questions?
[SPEAKER_07]: We are actually opening it up.
[SPEAKER_07]: Any other questions for Andy as I trip over all of my words because I talk too quickly.
[SPEAKER_07]: and the other thoughts and I've check keeps on wondering who the guy with the hat is in the background who keeps walking by in your camera.
[SPEAKER_00]: He looks like a lot of fun.
[SPEAKER_07]: It's the mysterious stranger.
[SPEAKER_07]: He's a rich retro.
[SPEAKER_07]: He's the one in the comment.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_07]: It's the mysterious stranger just showing up every so often.
[SPEAKER_07]: There's other people back there.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_07]: Awesome.
[SPEAKER_07]: Hi, everybody.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I think we're probably done with some questions for you.
[SPEAKER_07]: And thank you for the insight there from your perspective on Oklahoma and the states and the character that would be a fish out of water character, a vaultweller who isn't supposed to be that vaultweller who's pretended to be somebody else.
[SPEAKER_07]: That same, that seems very interesting.
[SPEAKER_07]: I like the layers on that.
[SPEAKER_07]: I would imagine you could design a story arc around a character like that where they come into that setting and Everyone's there enemy because they're a spy, but they can't let them on to that But then certain people get through because the human thing of like getting to know people and oh these are actually really real people and the relationships that evolve from that and then being lost in the wasteland again on how that changes a character and [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's like a very nice flick to your from a socialist country getting into a capitalist country but then everything changed because of the great war and you have to fit in and maybe you you like it in a way you learn that new society you don't know shit about capitalist countries because you're from a socialist country and now it's a wasteland and maybe you all like try to fit in and I think it's a very you can you can like build a story up about around that [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, imagine it'd be a massive culture shock when he gets to America.
[SPEAKER_10]: Like, wow, there's so much stuff in the shelves and the great war haps, like, oh, just like back home and there's nothing.
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: But I think for a socialist, like getting in race and a socialist country, maybe it's like, [SPEAKER_00]: It's like very abstract to see American society especially and fall out.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like everything is so much and it doesn't make that much sense because everybody is using these products that not really necessary at all.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then the grade war happens and everything is fucked in a year like oh man, this is like maybe it's like it feels like almost implemented.
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe exactly to say it's like, oh, it's like back home again.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, everyone's born again.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, well Yeah, I would imagine my wife is from the eastern park from Germany, so she have like a lot of from a friendly that got raised up on socialist Germany and it wasn't that bad at all.
[SPEAKER_00]: I would say [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, well, it's good.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's good.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I would imagine in the wasteland, the division between capitalist or socialist starts to be way less important.
[SPEAKER_07]: It's more about, are you surviving and how are you doing that?
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: For sure.
[SPEAKER_07]: For sure.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right, well, thank you, Andy.
[SPEAKER_07]: That was great.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right, who would like to go next?
[SPEAKER_07]: Who hasn't gone yet?
[SPEAKER_07]: We've got, we've got what?
[SPEAKER_07]: What?
[SPEAKER_07]: What's his name?
[SPEAKER_07]: I'm going to say it correctly this time, because I read things too fast.
[SPEAKER_07]: But hey, welcome.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm so excited to do this.
[SPEAKER_07]: This month.
[SPEAKER_03]: Dude, it's great to be here.
[SPEAKER_03]: I've listened to quite a bit of the podcast lately, so I really cool to be here.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, does my mic sound good?
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, he sounded good.
[SPEAKER_07]: So, who's your character?
[SPEAKER_03]: So, it's kind of, it was kind of hard for me to land on one for a while because any time I've played tabletop games like D&D and stuff, I've always played like a high agility high speed stealth builds.
[SPEAKER_03]: And then anytime I play fallout, no matter what I try to go for it, it always turns into a high DPS tank build.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_03]: No matter no matter what I go for it, it's just what it always turns into.
[SPEAKER_03]: So I decided to be in the middle.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is based off of the character.
[SPEAKER_03]: So I don't know if anybody's watched invincible.
[SPEAKER_03]: The the prime video show.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yes.
[SPEAKER_07]: I haven't watched it yet, but I'm familiar with it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Great show.
[SPEAKER_03]: I based my character off of Rex.
[SPEAKER_03]: Rex, blowed.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, back story is he started out as a human.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, when West Tech was had the entire town locked down in Appalachia and was slowly feeding them the FV virus and was slowly killing them.
[SPEAKER_03]: What his back story is, he was not born yet.
[SPEAKER_03]: He was still, he was very close to being born.
[SPEAKER_03]: And he got some of the effects passed down from the FV.
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, and so later, right?
[SPEAKER_07]: Like in the womb.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
[SPEAKER_03]: So what ended up happening was any of his bodily fluids was extremely superheated in like acidic and explosive.
[SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
[SPEAKER_03]: So what ended up happening, which is totally inaccurate to lower anything else, is the on-clave came in and paid his parents off to take him to do experiments on him.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_03]: And over the years, they continued to do experiments on him and they got to a point where they overdid it and he was going to die.
[SPEAKER_03]: So what they ended up doing is they took his brain out and they put him into an assault-tron body.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: So, so I love that I love that you've built up the idea that like their body fluid is a very important and mysterious and powerful thing and only to completely remove that from the equation.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, but, but it comes in a little bit later.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, they took inspiration, well, kind of.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, they took inspiration from his bodily fluids and they replaced the assault trons, laser weapons with plasma weapons.
[SPEAKER_07]: Like, wait, wait, like, blood plasma?
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, just, I mean, just typical plasma because the on-clave, they're very technologically advanced.
[SPEAKER_03]: they took what they found in his bodily fluids, and they integrated it into a weapons in him so that anything that he touched, he could turn into plasma and use it as a projectile.
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, okay.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, any metal he touches, any, he could pick up a gun and throw it, and it would become like explosive plasma.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_03]: So he's like, can't be.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: And so, what his stats are, well, I guess the three-pained ones is he has obviously explosives.
[SPEAKER_03]: He has a screenshot just disappeared.
[SPEAKER_03]: So he has throwing so he can throw the projectiles.
[SPEAKER_03]: He has explosives and he has athletics.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's like a fun build because, yeah, so in the show, he's kind of a dickhead.
[SPEAKER_03]: So he has no speech, not a lot of people like him, but what he did is he flaked from the on-clave and he became a kind of not quite a minute man, but he started helping people.
[SPEAKER_03]: So he's helpful, but also nobody likes him very much as a person.
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, he's also terrifying because he's basically a robobrain assault run.
[SPEAKER_07]: with a male brain in a female-looking body?
[SPEAKER_07]: Saltron?
[SPEAKER_03]: So, yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, and then the really cool, I guess, I mean, just little detail.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, I don't want to spoil the show.
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't want to spoil the show.
[SPEAKER_07]: So this is very, very closely tied to the show.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so that's what.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, because I mean, Rex in the show is kind of a tank.
[SPEAKER_03]: He gets shot.
[SPEAKER_03]: He gets shot in the back of the head at some point.
[SPEAKER_03]: But he can also touch anything and turn it into an explosive.
[SPEAKER_03]: And then, so, [SPEAKER_03]: But part of it being a robot is that if ever necessary, he could hypothetically touch himself and blow himself up.
[SPEAKER_07]: Or pull a piece of him off and then throw that.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly.
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: I like it.
[SPEAKER_03]: So that's that.
[SPEAKER_03]: So in his his name.
[SPEAKER_03]: his, oh, it was gonna be vex, but I figured that was a little too close.
[SPEAKER_03]: So I haven't really settled on a name.
[SPEAKER_03]: So vex was actually the name of my last stealth building, D&D.
[SPEAKER_07]: I'm vexed so.
[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, it is close, but.
[SPEAKER_07]: Thanks.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thanks.
[SPEAKER_03]: So that's my character.
[SPEAKER_03]: I like it.
[SPEAKER_07]: I like it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, so have this reminds me.
[SPEAKER_07]: Have any of you done a explosive build in New Vegas?
[SPEAKER_07]: Have you ever played New Vegas as an explosive build?
[SPEAKER_07]: And if not, what are you doing with your lives?
[SPEAKER_07]: Because you absolutely should be playing an explosive build in your days.
[SPEAKER_07]: Because you start out really close to the boomers.
[SPEAKER_07]: There's tons of dynamite right at the beginning of the game.
[SPEAKER_07]: And if you increase your stats and explosives and then use vats to just drop explosives at everyone's feet, you just blow everyone to bits.
[SPEAKER_07]: So this is what I've imagined is happening with your build is something like that where every time you come across anything that's has to be blown up, it just pieces everywhere.
[SPEAKER_07]: And that's just the path you leave.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yep.
[SPEAKER_07]: So that's cool.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right, let's open this up.
[SPEAKER_07]: Who has any questions or thoughts on this?
[SPEAKER_07]: Who?
[SPEAKER_07]: What would you do if you came across a Robo Brain Assaultron who can throw plasma explosives with they just pick up Ross?
[SPEAKER_09]: So how'd you pick up where you'd be invoiter in the same room?
[SPEAKER_09]: We thought of Iron Man III, the villains.
[SPEAKER_09]: The extremist extremist [SPEAKER_09]: The extremist group, the Iron Man III, though, the guy that had the superheating thing.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_09]: That's what me and Jeremy were thinking.
[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_03]: Gotcha.
[SPEAKER_04]: Derminator, did you want something?
[SPEAKER_04]: Go ahead.
[SPEAKER_04]: As an officer of the on-close, I cannot endorse this idea, but it's pretty interesting.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_07]: Boy, did you have something else you wanted to add?
[SPEAKER_07]: It looked like you maybe we're adding more to what Pumpkin said.
[SPEAKER_07]: No, you good.
[SPEAKER_05]: We also tuned in at a really bad time at like male brain in female body.
[SPEAKER_05]: So that's what we heard from then on.
[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
[SPEAKER_05]: We're getting discussing for the earlier earlier.
[SPEAKER_05]: So it's like we don't have the full concept of the care.
[SPEAKER_07]: So, he's a character that has explosive or very hot body fluids whose brain gets taken out of their body, put into an assault round body, and then they now can pick things up and heat them in order to throw them as explosives.
[SPEAKER_07]: Was that a good quick summary?
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, pretty much.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: So they can turn any material that they pick up into plasma, like a plasma rifle, and then throw it as a explosive projectile, like a plasma grenade, pretty much.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: Is this the thing in the hand as a whole or say for example you have sand?
[SPEAKER_04]: Is that basically turning into a massive scatter shot?
[SPEAKER_03]: That's good.
[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't think that deep into it, but that's a really [SPEAKER_03]: Damn, that's a solid question.
[SPEAKER_07]: We're like a cup of water.
[SPEAKER_07]: Like if you had a cup of water and then you threw it to the water splashed out and it would all be like plasma water at that point.
[SPEAKER_03]: Hello, I really did those are good questions.
[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't think that far into it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I really like making a room.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm getting getting hot, getting glass.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he can throw hot glass at people.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yes.
[SPEAKER_03]: I think that it would depend on how quickly you heated up the sand because if you held on to it for a second, it's going to turn into one ball.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you were to super heat it out super fast and throw it.
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think that the sand would like hard in the course.
[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not sure if you would personally do it, probably.
[SPEAKER_07]: Can you heat up a person and throw them?
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I don't, I guess probably anything that can get super heated in the plasma.
[SPEAKER_03]: So, that's a good thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's very, very handy like you can heat up like meals and stuff.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what I would do if I met him, but the socialist spy herald would definitely try to talk about socialist ideas and get him as a companion.
[SPEAKER_00]: So you can like, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: people and heat up meals and stuff and they make, maybe they open up a little restaurant.
[SPEAKER_03]: I said, I hope the people like their stake well done because it's gonna cook really quick.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you can just touch a Brahmin and heat up the whole Brahmin and then explode into little bits.
[SPEAKER_03]: There you go.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: This is fun.
[SPEAKER_07]: This is a fun idea.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right, any last questions for what?
[SPEAKER_07]: Anyone else?
[SPEAKER_07]: No?
[SPEAKER_07]: This is fun.
[SPEAKER_07]: Did you say the name?
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah, Vex.
[SPEAKER_07]: You're gonna go with Vex.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: Or if something similar, something kind of time.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, you guys could throw some names in there.
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't care.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: is is Vex confused by the fact that he's he was a male person, but now has a very shapely assaultron body.
[SPEAKER_03]: Now he doesn't care.
[SPEAKER_07]: He doesn't care.
[SPEAKER_07]: He doesn't care.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's like, yeah, it's cool.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's a badass.
[SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't care.
[SPEAKER_03]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: This is a good one.
[SPEAKER_07]: What?
[SPEAKER_07]: Very creative.
[SPEAKER_07]: Who would like to go next?
[SPEAKER_07]: We've only have a few people left who hasn't gone Nova hasn't gone, uh, germinator hasn't gone, little green hasn't gone, germinator you want to go?
[SPEAKER_04]: Sure, why not.
[SPEAKER_04]: So my character is a communication specialist with the on-clif.
[SPEAKER_04]: Of course.
[SPEAKER_04]: Of course.
[SPEAKER_04]: Of course.
[SPEAKER_04]: And he was born within the on-clif and as about as on-clif as you can get to be honest.
[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_04]: So from the on-clif, we'll just put it out there.
[SPEAKER_04]: Full fledged Nazi.
[SPEAKER_04]: Basically, I mean, that his name is Hans Claus of its.
[SPEAKER_04]: Wow, that's German too.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, no.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, of German descent, yes.
[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: Very, it seems like he's very of German descent, like recent German descent, because still has like an accent with his name that sounds German, like his family speaks German, right?
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_04]: And, um, [SPEAKER_04]: He specializes in being a one-man communications company.
[SPEAKER_04]: He's got a strength of nine, which gives him, according to this, a three hundred and forty pound Gary White.
[SPEAKER_04]: There's a carry like a big radio pack with him.
[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_04]: Radio pack batteries and tennis, everything in the one.
[SPEAKER_04]: So imagine a guy wearing a radio power arm or without power arm.
[SPEAKER_07]: Like somebody from like World War II or something who would be like the radio guy with the backpack and the antenna.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: And with the ability to tap into the different transmission towers started around the wasteland.
[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, they're then they're not being used.
[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, what's this name again?
[SPEAKER_04]: That was too busy laughing.
[SPEAKER_07]: Unsclaus of it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: So any other details about Hans?
[SPEAKER_07]: Where does he live?
[SPEAKER_07]: What's his, what's his part of a specific on clay group?
[SPEAKER_07]: Is he out in the wasteland doing reconnaissance?
[SPEAKER_07]: Like what's he doing?
[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_04]: So he is based in Alaska.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, specializing in long range nuclear bombardments.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, okay.
[SPEAKER_04]: So he's basically [SPEAKER_04]: getting ready to drop hell on whatever gets in his way.
[SPEAKER_07]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Is this pre-great wars?
[SPEAKER_07]: Is this during some of the skirmishes and battles that were in Alaska?
[SPEAKER_04]: No, this is this is post.
[SPEAKER_07]: This is post.
[SPEAKER_07]: I knew Vegas era.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, because if you get close enough to the war, the enclave existed.
[SPEAKER_07]: Some people absolutely were working for the enclave.
[SPEAKER_07]: There was no ambiguity about that.
[SPEAKER_07]: Like I didn't know if this was like something like that or if this was post.
[SPEAKER_07]: So how long after the bombs are we talking?
[SPEAKER_04]: And New Vegas era, so as I say, the, the, twenty, twenty, twenty, thirty years after.
[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: So, okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: Pretty close to where the timeline ends up.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_04]: Now it does it.
[SPEAKER_04]: And it's slightly off canon.
[SPEAKER_04]: The uncleye took over.
[SPEAKER_04]: Now let's say a force base as well, so they've got all the boomers of telearray and a B-twenty-nine.
[SPEAKER_04]: All right, they're disposal.
[SPEAKER_04]: All right, all right, is he unlike a mission?
[SPEAKER_07]: Is he ever specific goal?
[SPEAKER_07]: Like what's his motivation?
[SPEAKER_04]: And now he just takes his orders and doesn't with that question.
[SPEAKER_04]: He's just, uh, he's just a good soldier.
[SPEAKER_04]: Just doing what he needs to do.
[SPEAKER_04]: He did soldier.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Um, I don't, I don't know if I have any other questions.
[SPEAKER_07]: Anybody else have any questions for a germinator?
[SPEAKER_07]: Anything else you want to flesh out about this?
[SPEAKER_07]: He's a hundred percent human still.
[SPEAKER_07]: There's not like a goalification or anything that's happening.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: What go ahead?
[SPEAKER_07]: What's raising his hand?
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I think you're still [SPEAKER_03]: We know that the on-clave is like a super hyper American like the higher-up rich people.
[SPEAKER_03]: How did a recent German join the on-clave?
[SPEAKER_07]: Or is he just descended from German people?
[SPEAKER_04]: Or is he just descended?
[SPEAKER_04]: He's a descendant.
[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_04]: He's a descendant from the original uncleye families.
[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
[SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes he had Germans and it just like the Americans took Germans during and after World War II.
[SPEAKER_03]: So doing like operations.
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, man.
[SPEAKER_03]: Man is stuff.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: Gotcha.
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_03]: Sweet.
[SPEAKER_03]: Cool.
[SPEAKER_10]: So what exactly is he trying?
[SPEAKER_10]: Well, what exactly is this objective in Alaska if he's like a nuclear coordinator for nuclear strikes?
[SPEAKER_10]: Like what purpose does that serve in the on claims higher goals?
[SPEAKER_04]: But he is trying to hack into the system to target the Chinese remnants.
[SPEAKER_04]: He's still fighting the fight against the Chinese.
[SPEAKER_04]: He's still fighting the fight.
[SPEAKER_04]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's in Stillsby's family.
[SPEAKER_00]: It is separate.
[SPEAKER_00]: That is like, he's so perfect.
[SPEAKER_00]: He wasn't there when the great weapons and the, uh, uh, uh, uh, what was, what was it like, like the great battle in Alaska, but he's still fighting for the war from what he knows about it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, is he in Anchorage?
[SPEAKER_04]: He's in, well, just outside Anchorage, okay.
[SPEAKER_04]: I tell her he buys that you visit in.
[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's cool.
[SPEAKER_04]: Which one doesn't go on just nuclear artillery?
[SPEAKER_10]: This one has a lot like what is like twenty four inch high like high explosive, high nuclear explosive, high velocity artillery, so it's across the entire Pacific Ocean.
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, has he actually launched it in the next.
[SPEAKER_07]: So at this point has he has he launched nukes?
[SPEAKER_07]: He's on the quest to do it.
[SPEAKER_07]: He's done it already.
[SPEAKER_07]: He's done this before.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, so we said that's that's an interesting spin on the law or would be the idea that like wait some numbers of the obviously bombarding china for right Alaska with what would remain stockpiled it's like I would imagine either it is just like well, this is just what we have to keep doing or they have some being that he's a communications guy maybe he's picking up radio signals like long-wave radio systems that proved that the changes are there and so he's like well, we didn't eliminate him yet.
[SPEAKER_07]: We got to keep going [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, like, like, that's a, you will probably...
Wait, wait, so does it have like a counter-part and like, warmer, Hawaii or something like that?
[SPEAKER_10]: The train train with a radio broadcast originated from, so they can precisely eat the nuclear blasts.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, no, nuclear blast is basically like a shotgun.
[SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't matter what you aim at it.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's been city is enough to destroy anything you aim at, really.
[SPEAKER_10]: I think I am realizing China's so massive.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, if he's trying to, he would want to tell you, yeah, so he wouldn't want to tell you, it's a specific city or some pile, right?
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, that's, that's why you have radio direction, find us and judging by the strength of the radio signal you receive.
[SPEAKER_10]: Well, if it's a fight, if it's like a counterpart to him like a Hawaiian or guava somewhere to try and you like the broadcast, which wouldn't wouldn't even have to be that far away.
[SPEAKER_04]: It could be as close as an oil rig.
[SPEAKER_04]: Washing to an oil rig exactly.
[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, who knows we feel on cliff as other oil rigs out there?
[SPEAKER_07]: And if these up in Alaska, it would make sense that there might be oil rigs around or down the coast of the, you know, the site of the west coast of the country or wherever, you know?
[SPEAKER_07]: something like that.
[SPEAKER_07]: It was something like that.
[SPEAKER_07]: It was something like that.
[SPEAKER_07]: It was something like that.
[SPEAKER_10]: It was something like that.
[SPEAKER_10]: It was something like that.
[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, no, but disappeared.
[SPEAKER_10]: The bancher between you.
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I just find negative seven degrees outside.
[SPEAKER_10]: It's terrible.
[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, cool.
[SPEAKER_10]: We have a parrot right here on our balcony.
[SPEAKER_10]: That's the contrast between the bancher between them.
[SPEAKER_10]: I think it blurs.
[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
[SPEAKER_07]: And one is freezing and one's in some sort of tropical, you know, exactly.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, totally, totally.
[SPEAKER_07]: Cool.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: So you've made a straight-up on-clave soldier who's just continually bombing China still.
[SPEAKER_07]: I love it.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: This is fun.
[SPEAKER_07]: Any last thoughts on this one, German air?
[SPEAKER_07]: Not really cool.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right awesome stuff.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right, nobody you want to go.
[SPEAKER_07]: I know Lil Green said he would go last if if at all Yeah, I can go so [SPEAKER_10]: Uh, Smythra just doing is going to be a civilian.
[SPEAKER_10]: Just, he's me and Nova.
[SPEAKER_10]: Uh, he is a former, we guys are Ranger that had been pushed all the way back to Nevada from New Mexico fighting the Legion and in the course of doing so.
[SPEAKER_10]: He was heavily injured by a Legion air.
[SPEAKER_10]: Uh, he got a message slash across his left arm.
[SPEAKER_10]: So he used to be a sniper.
[SPEAKER_10]: within the Desert Rangers, but now he can only use pistols.
[SPEAKER_10]: And since the Battle of Hoover Dam, he has retired now lives within the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range.
[SPEAKER_10]: On the outskirts of a small little settlement, and he is acting pretty much just as a...
[SPEAKER_10]: As a prospector and so he is prospecting with the local mines the local in the industry that he can find and any like the swan noodles abandoned towns and cities within the local area and he is bringing the salvage back to the small to the small little shop he runs in town [SPEAKER_10]: Okay, he also adds a smoke as he also acts as part of the militia, but because he's arm is no longer good, he can only use a pistol, but he still likes to keep his snap right, he's a hunting rifle around now for old memory sake.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right, and what was his, oh, his name, Nova, you're just going with Nova.
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, just make it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's one thing we could name, so just for my name on there.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's fine.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's fine.
[SPEAKER_07]: So it sounds like he's been around for a while, is he?
[SPEAKER_07]: Is he middle age?
[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, yes, he's about fifty years old.
[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Kind of an older guy.
[SPEAKER_07]: Um, okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right, and does he have motivation at this point?
[SPEAKER_07]: Does he like seek revenge on the Legion or this individual?
[SPEAKER_07]: So no, uh, [SPEAKER_10]: His motivation was, like, he's a broken man, if I be honest, his entire family and his old city of, of a, what is it not, what's the capital of New Mexico again and forgetting?
[SPEAKER_07]: Capital of New Mexico?
[SPEAKER_07]: They didn't, I don't remember names of anything to be honest.
[SPEAKER_07]: Capital, we'll just search a real fantasy.
[SPEAKER_10]: When I was going to Santa Fe, we'll Santa Fe was sacked by the lead Santa Fe.
[SPEAKER_10]: His entire family was murdered by the lead.
[SPEAKER_10]: His wife and daughter were taken as slaves by the lead.
[SPEAKER_10]: All his son was killed in the battle and he was forced to evacuate with the remaining civilians that he could save.
[SPEAKER_10]: And so his motive at that point really was just to keep her revenge.
[SPEAKER_10]: But life after the battle of Hoover Dam, though, he just decided to settle down because there was no more [SPEAKER_10]: There's no more motivation for him after that because since CR had won and he did not see himself being able to pursue the legion across the desert anymore.
[SPEAKER_10]: So he decided to just try and live his life as best he could with the remaining time he had.
[SPEAKER_07]: Wow.
[SPEAKER_07]: Wow.
[SPEAKER_07]: He's kind of a bummer.
[SPEAKER_07]: Like is he is he is he depressed or is he just retired?
[SPEAKER_10]: It's it's both like I say I said he's [SPEAKER_10]: his entire life was ruined by the Legion.
[SPEAKER_10]: And so he is trying to rebuild his best he can, but he is more of a solitary figure than anything.
[SPEAKER_10]: Like I said, he spent most of his days prospecting because he brought something to do, and this is something he used to do back when he was part of the part of the desert rangers, what he would go through old military ruins.
[SPEAKER_10]: And he would try and recover as much as he could.
[SPEAKER_10]: Much of the equipment that he could, you know, guns, weapons, ammunition, explosives, armor, technology of any sort.
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, technology of any sort that would be able to help the Rangers and their fight against, you know, death which scroungeals before the Legion came about.
[SPEAKER_10]: But since then though, he's just a broken rundown man.
[SPEAKER_10]: And so he just spent most of his day prospecting going back to his old routine because he's pretty handy.
[SPEAKER_10]: He's, you know, he can actually, he's pretty handy with the technology.
[SPEAKER_10]: You can disassemble most most things and, you know, fix whatever he really needs to.
[SPEAKER_10]: But he does highlight.
[SPEAKER_10]: He does a, [SPEAKER_10]: He does run a stool though, out of the actors house making moonshine though.
[SPEAKER_10]: So that's his little secret to keep happy.
[SPEAKER_07]: Happy juice.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: In my own head canon of your character, can I have him speak like an old-timey prospector from like a Looney Tunes cartoon or something?
[SPEAKER_07]: Where he's like [SPEAKER_07]: Well, I'm shucking ignorant.
[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know the proper factor.
[SPEAKER_10]: I think that's a little too cheerful for him.
[SPEAKER_10]: I think it'd be more just down the...
The ethic would be a little more rundown.
[SPEAKER_10]: If I could be honest, like, he would, uh, okay.
[SPEAKER_10]: I'll often give him a lot of symbolic responses, and it would not elaborate, because...
If he would've would ask him, like, oh, what was it like?
[SPEAKER_10]: I can say nothing.
[SPEAKER_10]: He would just say...
It's gone.
[SPEAKER_10]: It's gone.
[SPEAKER_07]: Don't live there anymore.
[SPEAKER_07]: Don't live there anymore.
[SPEAKER_07]: Don't prospect out there.
[SPEAKER_07]: Because I'm a little prospect.
[SPEAKER_10]: It's a little bit easier to get away for reasons.
[SPEAKER_10]: Just leave it out like that.
[SPEAKER_07]: Can he say like Sim Elliott?
[SPEAKER_07]: Can he say Yippee Kai A.
At some point.
[SPEAKER_07]: So, um, well, what he's using Dynamite.
[SPEAKER_07]: He does.
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's what he says before he throws the Dynamite.
[SPEAKER_10]: Every Kai A.
Raiders.
[SPEAKER_07]: Take this, Raiders.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yippee Kai A.
[SPEAKER_07]: So he'd sounds like me to me like the kind of NPC that you'd come across in a game who was just like down and out and then you provide like one little piece of information and they're like oh well okay well here's what I want you to do now and all of a sudden they have motivation for something for the first time forever you know yeah look like I kind of based on the only one fellow from far-horror like that was kind of my starting point was him and so like [SPEAKER_10]: If you could, you know, if you do bring back something reminiscent of his old pass and he would obviously reminisce upon and he would probably open up to you.
[SPEAKER_10]: I really think this far ahead, but if you were to find some object in the world that did remind him or possibly even like [SPEAKER_10]: You know, his wife's necklace is something like that because probably she probably got brought along with the Legion to New Vegas, right?
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_10]: He served with a slave there, and then in the ranch sacking of the fort, she probably I killed, but you recovered her necklace and said you'd bring it back to him.
[SPEAKER_10]: Right, and that was like, are you ready to give a story like how do you with him?
[SPEAKER_10]: He sees it on you just like, what's that right there?
[SPEAKER_07]: Right, like I know that Nicholas, that was my wedding present in my wife.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I found that in the church and I gave it to her.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, cool.
[SPEAKER_07]: I like this.
[SPEAKER_07]: Who has questions for Nova?
[SPEAKER_07]: Let's open this up.
[SPEAKER_07]: Any other questions on this character?
[SPEAKER_07]: And everyone's just like, everyone's just depressed now, Nova.
[SPEAKER_07]: You've just [SPEAKER_07]: You've just really got rid of him.
[SPEAKER_00]: What has actually been really good?
[SPEAKER_07]: Andy, Andy likes it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, go ahead.
[SPEAKER_07]: What?
[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, I, your hand rules.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I got it.
[SPEAKER_03]: So because he got his arms slashed by a machete.
[SPEAKER_03]: Is it amputated or is it just?
[SPEAKER_03]: No, it just blows up.
[SPEAKER_03]: It just blows up.
[SPEAKER_03]: So because, I mean, I shoot guns in real life and I actually shoot long range and I prefer to shoot one handed long range.
[SPEAKER_03]: I like the whole gun here, and I like to rest my other arm right here.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I also have my butt.
[SPEAKER_10]: It's also not about that, though.
[SPEAKER_10]: It's about transport.
[SPEAKER_10]: So it's be very hard to transport a rifle across the desert with you.
[SPEAKER_03]: Just a sling over the shoulder.
[SPEAKER_10]: Well, I like do I have sixty guns?
[SPEAKER_10]: I know about this, but I'm saying that's the lore.
[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: I can imagine a justification for why you know on the fly if you if something's running out you're not gonna want to put down your pack open it up with one hand try to make sure it's a load.
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you know like all of that I would like like he can like operate a zipper you can lock pick with his left hand, but it's not it's not it's not Dexter's enough to hold it up to hold the rifle up for a long time because he's not gonna be like [SPEAKER_10]: In a situation where he was like that, he would be running around.
[SPEAKER_10]: He wouldn't prop his rifle up onto a tree stem or the likely.
[SPEAKER_10]: If something comes out of the woods, you're not going to find a local tree stump or a half brick wall to prop your rifle up.
[SPEAKER_10]: You'd be standing out there in the open, probably kneeling down to shoot.
[SPEAKER_10]: And his arm would be too shaky.
[SPEAKER_10]: That's why he only uses a third-seven magnet now.
[SPEAKER_10]: It's easy to hold, so he can use his old fort for him.
[SPEAKER_07]: Is this like primary arm the one that's wounded?
[SPEAKER_07]: So he has to use like if he's right handed, he has to use a bander.
[SPEAKER_10]: He is right handed, but his left, but like you would support your, uh, they see your officers arm would be your left arm typically and then the, I would support your rifle mostly.
[SPEAKER_10]: And if that shake, your room scope's going to be shaking, you're not able to hit very accurately.
[SPEAKER_10]: Right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that makes sense.
[SPEAKER_07]: Andy, do you have any other questions?
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you kind of chimed in there for a second.
[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, just want to say that sounds great and I am in general, all the guys telling so cool characters stories, probably use them from RRPG adventure.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, there's all sorts of, it's always fun to get together with everybody and have their own perspectives on like what would make a cool, you know, answer to whatever question we're coming up with or a cool character for the game.
[SPEAKER_07]: And I can imagine all of these is being some sort of variation on even a character in the video games that are NPCs that you would come across, you know, like even something as crazy as like, well, this is an assault round with a human brain in it.
[SPEAKER_07]: throws explosives, you know, like the game is wacky enough to do weird stuff but also realistic enough to kind of lean into certain other things and it got such a broad spread, you know.
[SPEAKER_07]: So cool.
[SPEAKER_07]: Any other questions for Nova?
[SPEAKER_07]: Anybody else?
[SPEAKER_07]: All right, Nova, any last thoughts, Nova?
[SPEAKER_10]: He also really like silver so whenever any silver where he finds out the ways he just puts on it is a little collection.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: So he's panning when he finds little streams or something.
[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, no, no, no.
[SPEAKER_10]: But yeah, I get kind of like, yes, spoons or plates or anything with silver and he just keeps it.
[SPEAKER_10]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_10]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_10]: It's just a little artistic hobby.
[UNKNOWN]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_09]: Why does that remind me of the episode of America, where it's the end of the world of Roger just collects his spoons?
[SPEAKER_07]: What's going on about that?
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, cool.
[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you for letting me.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right, Lil Green.
[SPEAKER_07]: Are you playing?
[SPEAKER_07]: Are you doing a character?
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to sit this one out.
[SPEAKER_07]: No character from Lil Green.
[SPEAKER_07]: I'm sorry.
[SPEAKER_07]: I'm Party Booper.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's OK.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's OK.
[SPEAKER_07]: Anything you want to share, anything you want to tell everyone, since you can at least take a moment of a spotlight.
[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, not really at the moment.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[SPEAKER_07]: Um, so this is fun.
[SPEAKER_07]: You look through the different character types and you have a lot to choose from.
[SPEAKER_07]: Um, we kind of just touched the surface here, vault dwellers survivor, brotherhood of steel, ghoul, robot super mutant, brotherhood expanded.
[SPEAKER_07]: So, you know, variations on side groups and that kind of thing.
[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, civilian, on clay, I bought hairy death claw.
[SPEAKER_07]: We're, we're, we're, we're looking at you.
[SPEAKER_07]: Intelligent Dethko also followed to Malisha, Old World Survivor, Reaver, Robo Brain, Slamter, Swampfolk, Tribal and Tribal Survivor.
[SPEAKER_07]: What is Slamter?
[SPEAKER_07]: Slamter doesn't.
[SPEAKER_07]: Try to guess, remember, with Slamter forced evolution S, apostrophe L-A-N-T-E-R.
[SPEAKER_07]: Do you know what that is a reference to?
[SPEAKER_07]: I feel like I should know this, but obviously it's not coming to mind.
[SPEAKER_07]: So don't know what that is.
[SPEAKER_07]: So if you want to, you know, so sure somebody on the internet will be like, robots, you're an idiot.
[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not going to listen to your show anymore.
[SPEAKER_07]: This is what it means.
[SPEAKER_07]: Is the tabletop game can for a follower?
[SPEAKER_07]: I don't believe so.
[SPEAKER_07]: If you talk to Bethesda Devs, they've listed out the games that they consider to be canon since they own the IP and that includes all the mainline games and tactics.
[SPEAKER_07]: I believe.
[SPEAKER_07]: I think those are the only ones that are actually canon with quotes plus the TV show.
[SPEAKER_07]: So there you go.
[SPEAKER_07]: Alright everybody, thank you for joining me.
[SPEAKER_07]: This has been super fun with all your different characters.
[SPEAKER_07]: We've been going for, let's see over an hour now.
[SPEAKER_07]: Let's wrap this up.
[SPEAKER_07]: We're gonna go back through and feel free to share ways that people can keep track of what you're doing or, you know, just thanks for being here, all that stuff.
[SPEAKER_07]: Let's just go, I'm gonna go through the screen and order it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Little green, we're going back to you.
[SPEAKER_07]: You're gonna kick us off.
[SPEAKER_07]: Little green, thank you for joining us even though you didn't design a character.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm sorry, I'm being a part of it.
[SPEAKER_01]: But I would just do my typical thing of if you want to talk to me, you can find me on the Instagram.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's a different one.
[SPEAKER_01]: The Discord under a little green.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you want to see my photography, you can find me on Instagram on a little green under a score of photography.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I've actually had a couple of people that have passed a month, add me.
[SPEAKER_01]: Actually someone from Canada too.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's really about it.
[SPEAKER_01]: I've actually got some content I'm pushing out from the past like a couple weeks.
[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, no, I'm mildly active there.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, go like myself.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, [SPEAKER_09]: I'm only on here for about two weeks.
[SPEAKER_09]: I'm here for Jen Cohen.
[SPEAKER_09]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_09]: More info on that from when Jeremy does his thing.
[SPEAKER_09]: But of course, you always find me on the discord.
[SPEAKER_09]: I give a blue sky at the pumpkin king with the eB, a three in the eyes being ones.
[SPEAKER_09]: You can find that link in the discord on the blue sky.
[SPEAKER_07]: page there's a channel yeah channel where if anybody's curious and wants to follow a bunch of us from the robots radio community go to the discord there's a link in the blue sky channel that will give you the pack or whatever it's called where you'll just find all of us so you can follow all this all at the same time so yes there you go yeah and we will be in the having our little after party [SPEAKER_09]: in after this.
[SPEAKER_09]: So in the discord, so you can always hang out with us there.
[SPEAKER_09]: We're going to be doing that tonight with actually all of the three of the five people of dungeons and dipshits.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: I'm sure Void will talk a little bit more about the podcast when we get to Void.
[SPEAKER_07]: Very cool.
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, thanks for joining us.
[SPEAKER_07]: And I hope you guys have a blast.
[SPEAKER_07]: Ping and out.
[SPEAKER_07]: That sounds great.
[SPEAKER_04]: Get out, get out, just usual from me.
[SPEAKER_04]: If you want to contact me, I'm germinated just about everywhere.
[SPEAKER_04]: He's gonna find at least.
[SPEAKER_04]: And not much has been going on on my head.
[SPEAKER_04]: Alright, well, keep on bombing the Chinese with nukes.
[SPEAKER_07]: Gladly.
[SPEAKER_07]: No.
[SPEAKER_07]: And anybody who's listening, this is not natural political stance of a real world situation.
[SPEAKER_07]: This is all fictional, and does not really include any real people.
[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not saying we should go to war with any nation.
[SPEAKER_07]: Everyone should be peaceful in all of that, but in a fictional world, this is hilarious.
[SPEAKER_07]: He's coming for you, Chairman Chang.
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, man.
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, no.
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, no.
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, thanks for joining us, Chairmanator.
[SPEAKER_07]: Void.
[SPEAKER_07]: Hope you guys have fun.
[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, we are.
[SPEAKER_05]: So as Logan said, we are the three of us.
[SPEAKER_05]: Riley Bell, who plays Ezio Traffles, Logan Williams, who plays Axis Little Light, and me, Jeremy Geiser, who is the DM of Dungeons and Dipschitz, are all going to be at JenCon for probably all four days.
[SPEAKER_05]: So if you want to, I'll guess [SPEAKER_05]: First through fourth or July.
[SPEAKER_05]: July thirty first to the August third.
[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to be at Jencon.
[SPEAKER_05]: So if you're in the live stream, there you go.
[SPEAKER_05]: But other than that, this is the first time that we're all getting together.
[SPEAKER_05]: He's from Illinois and that one crossed the country from Montana just to see us.
[SPEAKER_05]: So this is very fun for us.
[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, cool.
[SPEAKER_05]: But yeah, my name is Boyd on the Discord B-Zero, one D-six-nine-six.
[SPEAKER_05]: You can always find me.
[SPEAKER_05]: My DMs are always open if you need to rant.
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm always here for mental health.
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm great listener.
[SPEAKER_05]: I probably won't give you solutions, but I'm here.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's how therapy is supposed to work, though, is you're supposed to share things and then you come to your own realization.
[SPEAKER_07]: So you're probably doing it, right?
[SPEAKER_07]: Anyway, uh, I'm done with my outro.
[SPEAKER_07]: How's him?
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, thanks for joining us again.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nova.
[SPEAKER_07]: You got anything going on?
[SPEAKER_10]: Uh, no, nothing going on but I've always on the discord.
[SPEAKER_10]: Uh, just, uh, no, we're, we're on there.
[SPEAKER_10]: Uh, and just like with, uh, Mr.
Anazi over there, I'm not going all with my life either.
[SPEAKER_10]: Just, uh, [SPEAKER_07]: I don't know, or I'll start when you see.
[SPEAKER_10]: That's really not just give us all this loot.
[SPEAKER_10]: You can do a see how though.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's good.
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, nothing else going on to stay a living the average American life, I should say.
[SPEAKER_10]: And I have a dog in my hand right now.
[SPEAKER_10]: He really wants tension.
[SPEAKER_10]: All right.
[SPEAKER_10]: My dog.
[SPEAKER_06]: What's the dog?
[SPEAKER_10]: He's named Cajun, he's a Bernie's mountain puppy, and he is the biggest velcro dog I've ever seen in my life.
[SPEAKER_10]: I was a picture in a second, and if you guys want to see.
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, yeah.
[SPEAKER_10]: For sure.
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_10]: I'll live.
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I'm just going to record a video when it's just ahead of me.
[SPEAKER_07]: Slancers are FEV mutated raccoons.
[SPEAKER_07]: Wait, that's a thing.
[SPEAKER_07]: How do I not know about this?
[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, I have to look, maybe I have to do an episode about slancers.
[SPEAKER_07]: How do I not know about, do you guys, are you familiar with this?
[SPEAKER_07]: They were cut from the game.
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: So they're like, cut content.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's why I'm not familiar.
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, thank you, Newcaste.
[SPEAKER_07]: So Newcaste and Chad is filling me in on this.
[SPEAKER_07]: Thanks so much.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right, what is name?
[SPEAKER_07]: I'm gonna mess up your name forever now.
[SPEAKER_07]: What?
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you for joining us.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you gotta go on.
[SPEAKER_07]: Anything you wanna share put down into the world?
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I just wanna say pleasure to be here.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's a really great to actually be in the podcast and it's really cool to be here.
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but you can follow me on Instagram at what's his name W U T S I Z and AME.
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and then I'm on discord.
[SPEAKER_03]: I work a lot.
[SPEAKER_03]: Actually, well, I have this entire next month off.
[SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
[SPEAKER_03]: But well, [SPEAKER_03]: So I joined the army and I ship out September second, so I'm taking the month of August to myself.
[SPEAKER_03]: Got it.
[SPEAKER_03]: So unfortunately, I only be able to join you guys this month and next month after that, the government will own me.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: But now it's been a really good pleasure to be here and meet all you guys.
[SPEAKER_03]: So thanks for having me.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, thank you so much for the support.
[SPEAKER_07]: I'm glad you were able to join us and look forward to next month and good luck.
[SPEAKER_07]: Good luck with your service and thank you for serving and all of that.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, thank you.
[SPEAKER_07]: Thanks for being here, man.
[SPEAKER_07]: Let's go to Andy.
[SPEAKER_07]: Andy, you're first time too.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, thanks for having me.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks for staying up here.
[SPEAKER_00]: Andy, I'm from Germany and I have a fallout podcast in Germany.
[SPEAKER_00]: Just wrap the app season one, start with season two.
[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, what's the name?
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe germinated, germinated, I can listen to it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's Muka cost, so I'm the guy in the shed.
[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks.
[SPEAKER_00]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's new characters you can find at an Instagram and stuff.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's not all German content.
[SPEAKER_00]: We have a lot of like the miniature game content.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm hanging out with the cosplay group called Vaults.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a just build a T-Six-D power armor fully variable.
[SPEAKER_00]: running around at conventions.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's a nice experience to have this view to this very American fallout lore from a German perspective.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I'm glad to hear to be here and really enjoy your content.
[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you very much.
[SPEAKER_07]: Thanks so much.
[SPEAKER_07]: Good luck to you with your show and all of that.
[SPEAKER_07]: And you mentioned power.
[SPEAKER_07]: That sounds awesome.
[SPEAKER_07]: I got to go to GCX and you guys are going to hear the episode in like two days or tomorrow since your patrons.
[SPEAKER_07]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_07]: But while he was there, I got to meet the voice actor in person who does paladin dance.
[SPEAKER_07]: And I got to see him put on power armor for the first time.
[SPEAKER_07]: It was freaking incredible seeing that in person.
[SPEAKER_07]: Also, if you've seen the power armor, not just in the games, but in the TV show, you can see how big it is on screen.
[SPEAKER_07]: But when you're standing there next to somebody, and all of a sudden, they're over seven feet tall in power armor, it is insane.
[SPEAKER_07]: So if you have an opportunity to go to something like a GCX where they have like a fallout section with their [SPEAKER_07]: There were laser rifles, there was a Mr.
Handy, there were all the different helmets, there were like all sorts of things.
[SPEAKER_07]: It was very, very cool.
[SPEAKER_07]: So yeah, you'll be able to hear some of the interviews and things very, very soon.
[SPEAKER_07]: So, Andy, thank you for joining us.
[SPEAKER_07]: Thanks so much for taking time to do this.
[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks for having me.
[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks.
[SPEAKER_07]: All right, Ebony Kitty, you're wrapping this up for us.
[SPEAKER_07]: Anything you want to share?
[SPEAKER_07]: Anything going on?
[SPEAKER_08]: Uh, not much how Wayne seasons right around the corner.
[SPEAKER_08]: So my haunted house will be opening back up.
[SPEAKER_08]: Nice.
[SPEAKER_08]: It's sighted for that.
[SPEAKER_08]: Is it a closed themed?
[SPEAKER_07]: It is not Fallout themed, but it is spooky season soon.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, spooky season is just great on its own.
[SPEAKER_07]: It's just I didn't know if you were incorporating maybe some ghouls or something in there.
[SPEAKER_08]: No, just I love spooky season.
[SPEAKER_08]: Um, otherwise I'm going to in the discord by the same name.
[SPEAKER_08]: Love talking about Fallout reach out if you want.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's about it.
[SPEAKER_07]: Very cool.
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, thanks.
[SPEAKER_07]: Thanks, Kitty.
[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you to everybody for supporting the show and for being here.
[SPEAKER_07]: To wrap this up, I've got some new patrons to welcome some new people signed up in the last two weeks.
[SPEAKER_07]: I think it's been some read these out.
[SPEAKER_07]: Drailists, Leviathan, Matthew P, and Richard E.
Thank you for joining us and shout out to Germinator again, our only century bot.
[SPEAKER_07]: So if anybody really knows what'd like to be a century about, shout out every week, you're welcome to do that.
[SPEAKER_07]: But thank you for the continued support germinator.
[SPEAKER_07]: And we did get some reviews that came in.
[SPEAKER_07]: We can kind of read these real fast and you guys can respond if you want for fun.
[SPEAKER_07]: This one came in from day day, twenty four, found this about two weeks ago.
[SPEAKER_07]: Super hooked.
[SPEAKER_07]: I like the podcast better than the show.
[SPEAKER_07]: And I'm about to dive into the games and go and start at the beginning.
[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you.
[SPEAKER_07]: You're amazing.
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, thank you so much.
[SPEAKER_07]: Day.
[SPEAKER_07]: And then this one came in from Jesse the Grouch, who writes, finally caught up, robots or Tom, does a great job of exploring the Fallout universe I padcast at work and appreciate him helping me make the hours fly by.
[SPEAKER_07]: He's inquisitive and has a gentle nudge pushing you to explore the philosophical aspects of the series and setting.
[SPEAKER_07]: Tom is a genuine concern for the community and that comes off in the monthly patron chats.
[SPEAKER_07]: He also has some great father-daughter interactions with Laney Copilot.
[SPEAKER_07]: Thanks for helping me escape the dread and frustration of our current day's political climate via guiding us on the robots' fallout tour tom.
[SPEAKER_07]: Looking forward to the next three hundred plus episodes, two vault boy thumbs up.
[SPEAKER_07]: I'll thank you so much.
[SPEAKER_07]: Such nice words from everybody.
[SPEAKER_07]: I really do appreciate that.
[SPEAKER_07]: So if you'd like to help out, please leave a positive review at five stars on Apple.
[SPEAKER_07]: I'll read that on a few trips.
[SPEAKER_07]: So if I can see it here in the US, and then you can always leave reviews and ratings on other platforms, that's all very, very helpful.
[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you again to all of our patrons, chat.
[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you for joining us.
[SPEAKER_07]: I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week.
[SPEAKER_07]: I'll be back next week.
[SPEAKER_07]: There's some, I've got some cool episode ideas coming up, so I'm not going to spoil them, but some fun stuff.
[SPEAKER_07]: So I'll see you guys soon in the future.
[SPEAKER_07]: Until then, stay safe in the wasteland, and if you are an on-clave remnant hanging out in Alaska, keep on sending those nukes.
[SPEAKER_07]: See you guys next time.
[SPEAKER_07]: Bye everybody.
[SPEAKER_07]: to plug into everything else we're doing.
[SPEAKER_07]: Check out robotsradio.net.
[SPEAKER_07]: Reach out to me on Twitter at robots underscore radio.
[SPEAKER_07]: Check out the robots radio rocket club where you can join me and a bunch of our other creators creating your podcasts starting a new podcast or helping your current podcast grow.
[SPEAKER_07]: There's more information about that on robotsradio.net as well.
[SPEAKER_07]: And you can always talk with us and the entire community over two thousand people on the robots radio discord.
[SPEAKER_07]: Come join us.
[SPEAKER_07]: We'd love to chat with you.
[SPEAKER_07]: See you guys next time.
