Booty for Beats w/Vanessa (@realitea_recap)—RHOA, The Valley & Diddy Trial
Episode Transcript
Hello, Hello, Hello, beautiful and wonderful mixologists out there.
It is your girl money.
She's here, and how can she not be?
I think I just have to get inspired.
That's really what it is.
No Listen, times are hard, work is tough.
We're all just doing our best to hang on through the like everyday work life, egg prices, government things stress, people in Tesla's on the road really not knowing what to do with them even though the cars are self driving.
Speaker 2Don't understand that confusion, And it's just.
Speaker 1So many other things that keep, like, you know, getting in the way, and my mouth is on the floor every day by a different headline, and I don't know what else to do.
And then you fall asleep and you wake up and you do the whole thing all over again, and you blink, and so much.
Speaker 2Time has passed.
Speaker 1But hopefully in between all that, you've listened to some great podcasts taking care of yourself, and watch some good as TV.
Because baby, that's what I'm here to talk about today.
I have not in a long time felt this good about what my eyes have been consuming, not since this past season of Beauty and Black, which is coming back very soon, by the way, along with some other things that Tyler Perry has.
Speaker 2Decided to portray upon us.
Speaker 1But I will be partaking in all of it the same way I'm partaking in all this other mess and good stuff on TV that I can't not talk to you all about, can't and I hear your thoughts about and can't not wait to introduce my guest today, Vanessa from Reality.
I did her inst her podcast in her live YouTube stream a little while ago, talking about the good things on the Housewives of Atlanta as well.
And here we are because it keeps getting better and I'm pleasantly surprised, and I'm also really excited to have you here, Todavi and Essa, thank you so much for being here.
Speaker 2Thank you.
Speaker 3I'm excited as well.
Good things you talked about so far.
I can't wait to dive in.
Speaker 1Yes, I feel like this season I really did not know what we were gonna get.
It felt like the trailer told us one thing might happen.
Well, even before that, social media told us one thing might happen.
Right, we start king in Porsche together, WHOA, what Like that's crazy?
We couldn't wait for that.
Then some time passed, We're all confused.
Where is the season Porscha and Phaedria together, Okay, freaking crack, I'm confused, But where is it?
Speaker 2What we were we doing?
Speaker 1It's good to see you all together, and now here we are we find out Kenya gets kicked off at some point, we're all concerned whether you like Keny or not.
You just you assumed one thing was gonna happen, or you were gonna see.
We don't know where we're gonna go.
If she's kicked off mid season, it's phaeder coming to replace her.
She's joining the cast too.
Where Cynthia come from?
All these questions, who are these new girls?
Speaker 2And who would a thump that?
Really?
Speaker 1Who would have all of us talking?
Is one miss Angela Oakley?
Because baby so my mom twenty four to seven.
I am never not thinking about something that that lady has said in a confessional in like a conversation or a re yeah a ring like we're gonna get to it.
But the one William's story has me like like whoa that whole situation we just casually talked about it with smile as if it was normal, Like wait a minute, can we I can't wait to dive into that on the reunion.
What are you thinking about this season so far and now especially since Kenya has left, Like, was that a turning point for you?
Did you see that it's something that we should look out for, or that like you didn't know what was gonna happen, or did you feel like we could probably still have a good season with or without Kenya.
Speaker 3Yeah, I mean, I'm enjoying this season.
I'm enjoying the ride.
Can't wait to see where it goes.
I know, you know, a lot of drama to come, especially with the season finale and like you mentioned, diving into all of that and the reunion.
Speaker 4I think for me.
Speaker 3I was concerned with Kenya Levin just because I felt like majority of the cast we did not know well enough to know if they could carry on their own.
Speaker 4Some are, some aren't.
Speaker 3In my opinion, I'm, you know, not because of Kenya anyway, even if Kenya was still here when it comes to Britain, I just I'm not interested in her story, you know, the sisters, the beef between the sisters and the husband.
I'm not really interested in any of that at all.
Speaker 4Be honest.
But yeah, I'm enjoying the season.
Speaker 3I do think that even with Kenya gone it's gonna carry.
I know that Phaeder returns May twenty fifth, so we've got about what a week two weeks before she's back.
Yep, so she'll be returning May twenty fifth.
Speaker 4But yeah, I'm enjoying it.
Speaker 3I think, you know, Angela, I think is cool, Confused a little bit.
Speaker 2About a lot of her songs like that.
Speaker 4Yeah, that's still developing, but I'm enjoying the ride so far.
Speaker 1Yeah, I would say the same.
I was one of the people who was definitely more concerned about Kenya.
I didn't know where she would fit anyway with these new girls.
It felt like it still might be two separate shows and the worlds would merge in like a between Porsche and Kenya.
Speaker 2Way like Kingya and Porsche are old school.
Speaker 1Porsche's friends with Shamiya, Shamia is friends with these other girls, you know, and so on.
The circle continues.
But instead it kind of felt like, you know, things pivoted very quickly where I thought that the Kingya storyline would be like not necessarily like a Beverly Hills long out drawn.
You know, she's not coming back, but she really did get kicked off in like episode.
Speaker 2Three or four.
Speaker 1By four, We're pretty much done with Kenya, and that's pretty early on for a season of Atlanta.
So that felt like, I don't know what the turning point is if it wasn't that, And it turns out we got a lot of places.
Speaker 2That we can go.
We're we're traveling all day long.
We are a mom running errands.
Speaker 1Okay, we are all over the goddamn grid like we are Porsche, And so my thing, I really want to know your thoughts on Porsche because I think she's one of what makes her such a great housewife for me is that she is so controversial, like she is so polarizing and charming at the same time, and all the best housewives are like you love them, and then they do something that really pisss you off, or that it's so shady or it's so ridiculous that you're like two degrees removed, like this is a little too much, even if it was for me, like sing saying that she would sleep with Charles's man, even as a joke, but you are like, it's te funny, but you really disky with somebody else's husband, which is why you're making said joke, which is kind of crazy because then also we're mad at Old Girl because she brought it up.
Speaker 2And asked you that same question.
Speaker 1So it's just kind of like she's one of those people, like, well, she uses it when she's convenient.
But I think that's why I'm having a nice time.
I like that she is getting caught up and that this is not a clean season for Miss Portsche.
I don't think it should be easy, to be honest, because I think she did us dirty leaving the show a couple of seasons ago when she slept with that man's husband.
That girl's husband did she want the show and gave him a pound, and now you're divorcing him and it's really been three years.
I'm upset about that, So I think you should It's okay for her to have a little turn in the hot seat, but I'm also finding it hilarious while she's there.
Speaker 3Yeah, I think for me, I've said it on some of my recaps, I'm truly disappointed in her return.
I think that she she thought she was returning as Miss Scubadia right, and that did not happen for her.
Speaker 4She filed for the devoce.
Speaker 3And I don't mind her being in the hot seat, but she's not giving what I'm used to seeing from her and the hot she is, like what you mentioned, the shade, the funniness.
It seems like whenever she is in the hot seat right now, she's shutting down and we're not getting the Porsche that I'm used to.
You know the scene with Angela and Nashville where she just told her kiss ass and then she left the table, she didn't really address anything, Drew at the table saying you know what she said and not addressing it Shemiah.
We see in the upcoming episode as well, Samia sitting down with her to tell her her feelings and her kind of just taking deep breaths and yawn and like I'm used to her having clapbacks.
Speaker 4And you know, I don't mind her being in the hot seat at all.
Speaker 3I just she's not showing up as the Porsche that I know.
Speaker 4I do still love her.
Speaker 3I still try to give her grace and understand that she is going through a divorce.
And at this time and filming, Simon was on, you know, his Twitter fingers were gunn Wing girl love Flying.
I feel like the Shade room had an all black post with like white you know, typewriter lettering and every four to six hours training.
That man's feelings not always coherent about how he really just hated his wife right in the in the legal paperwork, right he was trying.
He's filming in the home, filming in the car.
Speaker 1So I get, like, I try to he's getting deported.
Speaker 2Like she's going through.
There's a lot of stuff right now.
Speaker 3Yeah, so I try to think because that's what I see from her.
Honestly, that's the body language that I read, like, I'm already going through enough.
I don't have capacity for this, so I'm trying to see the tide I am.
I'm a little bit disappointed in the return.
I expect it more.
She is literally my top housewife.
I love Portia, so I just I was excited for just her fun, her energy.
She still has it, but it's dimmed when she.
Speaker 4Needs it the most.
Speaker 1I feel right now, Yeah, I could definitely see that, and I also what I see what I feel like.
This episode focused a lot on and what is the topic of pretty much everybody's conversations right now surrounding Atlanta, is you know, Portia and Shamia's relationship and people feeling a type of way and of whether or not Portia did not recommend Shmia.
Speaker 2For the show.
Speaker 1And I think I have a really a hot take on that because we have seen this show or this franchise Bravo in general, but definitely disfranchise tear any kind of relationship apart mother daughter, father son, mother father like son, siblings like parent to children, husband to wife, and best friends, friend groups.
You know, we've seen like the worst of the worst of it.
And I think that Porscha really valued her friendship with Samiah, and I think that she knew what this show could do to their friendships, to their actual friendship.
And while I think she went about it the wrong way because I think that she was insecure, she wanted she in a lot of ways the things She's definitely jealous of Shemia, and it would it would eclipse her in a way if if Shmia was on the show.
But I also think that because it would eclipse her, that's what made her feel like her their friendship would be like WOU would suffer because at least Porsia's faintness, Shamia has the good husband, the beautiful kids, the beautiful house, the solid marriage, like all that Porsha didn't have that right, none of it not a not a single one one of those things except for the one happy kid, but like none of the other things that she have though not for lack of trying, like over and over again, but when it comes to the show, she has that and that kind of like made her and Shemiah like have this bond they could kind of share in it together enough, like where they're friendly, but like that's Porscha's domain versus that she'd be and Shamia's domain, and now Shamiyah has it all and what Porscha has right, And I think that I don't think Porsche thought she would be strong enough to handle that, whether she is the emotional intelligence.
Speaker 2Or not to know that that was that feeling.
Speaker 1I think it manifested in her being like I didn't feel like it would be good for our friendship.
And to be honest, she's not wrong, because we're halfway through the season pretty much in it's about a rap on the Smida and Porsche show.
Like we saw cracks early on in the first couple of episodes, we saw some things that were questionable that Porsche did.
It was really dirty of her to walk through Smia's birthday car scene knowing how the show works, no one will was filming.
That was really shady, like you did not want your girl to have a moment, And it's kind of showing that in how Shamia feels.
But Jamia is new to housewives.
Of anything you say, can it will be used against you at your own sound bath sister circle, because.
Speaker 2Let me tell you it came up.
Speaker 1Kelly was doing big work running back and forth from sleeping bag to sleeping bag and tell the girls what was said between Porsche and Angela, which is crazy because Kelly wasn't even there.
Speaker 2It was so crazy.
She had all the details.
Speaker 3Though, Yeah, I think you know, and I did hear Porscha say, and Shemiah kind of confirmed that Samia was on her list of housewives as she pitched to the show, and Porscha and moreso said, you know your husband doesn't want a film that yeah, may be a hindrance, and you know, yeah, I do agree that Porsche seems to struggle with sharing the spotlight with Shemiah, But I just feel like I agree, like I said, I agree with that part that they she may struggle to share the spotlight, She may struggle to have her on as a full time housewife when she's coming back and trying to make her splash as well.
But the friendship breakdown right now, in my opinion, it's Kelly and Angela playing this telephone game.
Like most of the stuff that Shemiah voiced his concern.
She was saying, well, we already talked about it, or she knows how I feel.
We've had these conversations, and Portia seemingly is like in her face and again in the body language, it's like, bro, I don't need this right now.
I'm already going through enough.
Speaker 2How many breakups?
Can I handle it one?
Exactly?
And she was.
Speaker 3Saying, like, yo, I thought if anything did arise between me and you, we was gonna chop it up like the good girlfriends that we are.
Like, why is Angela coming back to tell por about this wedd You know, Shemia upset about Porscha and not coming to her wedding that happened over five years ago, that we saw play out on Real Housewives of Atlanta that long ago.
Speaker 4Why is Kelly the.
Speaker 3One coming to tell you that Angela told Porsche everything.
It's like the two of them, in my opinion, are running them up between this friendship.
I was really hoping that after both of them seeing this last episode that they would be like, you know, all right, it's not that.
Speaker 4Big of a deal.
Speaker 3Nobody on camera at least has torn each other down, that you would allow a friendship of this long to fall by the Waystside and I did see this week Porsche actually did post a happy Birthday to Shamiyah, and I was hoping that like that opened the door, especially and seeing Shamia breakdown ball on Watch What Happens Live.
Speaker 2On Sunday about the friendship.
Speaker 1Porsche, I really like because I think Porscha really feels like when what I saw on this is Porscha's breaking down or Porscha's shutting down is her defense mechanism because she has to be a stone cold situation right now for Simon, because that man is out to get her.
He's so mad, Like that man is so angry and upset and like if you don't know, you don't know, but like you're wondering why Porscha is like literally acts like she has ero bandwidth, and you're like, then why did you come in Film one?
Speaker 2She didn't have any other job.
Speaker 1Right now, this man is literally like he broke her than broke broke her than he let her on to believe.
She does not have a lot of solace in that right now she has to provide for her daughter.
The hot Dog King and Drew Sador are actually not going to be the thing that puts Pillar through college, contrary to that belief.
And thank you for your offer, Drew, but that just simply won't be it.
We would not be making money off of that today, no more than the game putting Pullar through college with this be putting Pollar through college.
Like that was such a ridiculous statement to me, but like something she and this is the one thing that she knew she could do.
And I think that she knew she was gonna dodge some falling questions.
She knew she was gonna dodge the divorce thing.
She has nowhere to film.
They are in a restaurant every five minutes, in a park bench and a gym like she can't sit down in an air conditioned home that she lays her head at all.
And then you see her at this sound bathing or her own like little you know, promo event because she loves to keep the girls working while they're on the clock.
Hey pimp her by Porsche indeed pors.
Indeed because when that girl said sideball, when she said that Drew was at work, she said she got paid by the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Speaker 2I thought that she was at work.
I said, oh my god, like and that is the portion we love that.
Speaker 1That's why I'm last.
I'm rooting for you girl.
I want that energy.
I totally get what you're saying.
I want that energy on the show.
I think that her acting when she doesn't have the bandwid and shutting down as a defense mechanism because of how much stressful things going through at what at one time, and not knowing who her ops are and when it comes off from these newbies that it might be one of her best friends, and she doesn't have a lot of contacts.
She didn't have the emotional capacity to investigate further because the idea that that like investigating that and that being correct, it would hurt her too much right now, too stressful.
But Shemia took great offense to that because she's like, you know me better than that.
You should have come and checked with me because we've already talked about all these things.
Why would you just let these girls tell you anything?
And like you not believe or give me the benefit of the doubt, especially if you don't have the time to call me and ask me specifically.
So I felt really bad for both of them in that situation because I think that they do go much deeper than this show and between these little go betweens, right.
Speaker 3And like nothing has been said or done in this friendship that it can't be results rights, Like even when they was like you know, the interviews, we see the press runs, they're not Shemi is very respectful in what she says about Porsha vice versa.
You know, like because we see Shamia, dude, Like she was just on the Breakfast Club this morning.
Speaker 4And she told Britt Up, you know what I mean, Like she told Britt Up.
Speaker 3She said that, you know, she doesn't think she's she's a mean person, she doesn't think she's a good person, and she's not gonna last long on Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Speaker 4She said that this morning.
Speaker 3So it's just like with that said, you know, at least Shamia, she didn't see with your husband, So why can't you all resolve it?
Speaker 4Like it's not no money, no, Like.
Speaker 1It's not like she started a rumor that you were going to get drugged and sexually and so the dungeon aassmates, but her husband.
It's not that she started a rumor that you were going to get assaulted and drugged by somebody else in post proximity, if somebody's out of that room, or it scared me into thinking that even if the whether it was true or not, whether producer told me it or not, whatever the case may be, if you can make it work with Phedra and Kenya, you can salvage something has happened.
Speaker 3You dragged Kenya across the reunion stage because she's.
Speaker 1Like nextors and there were bullhorns, like there were so many things.
All you and Shmia have is like little thirsty new housewives who want to establish themselves and are doing a good job.
If they're splitting you all up so fast, they're doing what they're supposed to do.
Like Kelly gives me like many pocket sized black Tamera.
Speaker 3She is definitely starting a lot of shit and saying a lot of stuff out loud, you know, like at the belly barbecue, saying to Angela, what about that side baby?
Speaker 2Why sleet?
Speaker 1And then like apparently this is all Wendy Williams phone which that doesn't feel very off.
Love that Wendy though, give her a showback justice for my girl in her purple chair.
I don't care what the facts come from.
I care that they keep she keep them coming.
But she said that Wendy's husband, famously, you know, Kevin Hunter, had a side baby on her and was a terrible man.
Pos And apparently at a party were an event, Charles and Angela were there and Wendy was all upset talking about it, and Angela was like, don't worry, It's just a baby, and she was like, has this happened to you?
Because Wendy, ever the interview is okay, Ever the interviewer.
Speaker 2And was like, yes it has.
Speaker 1And she was referring to her first child's daughter, her first child's father with whom we have met, and that I guess.
You know, when Wendy told the story, she didn't fact check it.
There were any other men.
She just knows you married to this man and you did not clarify.
So she's gonna put one in four together and get whatever number Wendy Williams comes up with.
And this is what we got.
So for years the streets have thought that Charles has a side baby.
Now, whether or not that it's true is irrelevant to me.
I believe that Kelly a hit dog will holler.
I mean, I think we'll get more questions about it at the reunion.
But I also feel like at that point Angel would have had a lot of time to really focus and center who her like.
Speaker 2What her story?
What the story is?
Speaker 1Somebody pointed out, I think in a couple of different podcasts and redd It's like the way she introduced the ages of her children.
Speaker 2It was very confusing.
Speaker 4Yeah.
Speaker 1Yeah, the Charles Junior of it all, like not getting an age and stuff really made people go, you know, like, is.
Speaker 2What Kelly's saying?
Speaker 1The truth hasn't happened to you more than once?
Are you just accustomed to men having babies on you?
And that's why you told Wendy it's just a baby, Yeah, because.
Speaker 3It is bafinitly, I mean, she admitted to some infidelities happening.
She says, I was part of their split, which made more sense because just because he got kicked out of Madison Square Guard and indefinitely or permanently or whatever was not enough for you to just split up your marriage when they weren't married.
That long at the time, there had to be more to it, So I agree.
I felt like even the Wendy Williams interview was dug up because of the confusion she calls by only telling us that they're separated because of him getting kicked out of that that the Madison Square guard and telling us these age is not in the right order, or however she did it, it calls that confusion that, in my opinion, dug up that Wendy Williams interview.
So and I and I definitely know there's more to this.
If it's not a side baby, there's all we always know.
Where there's smoke, there's fire.
But I think that you can see it in the mid season trailer.
If you guys haven't seen that yet, it's out just seeing a word on the streets and then my dms, there's a lot more to come.
There's a lot more to Charles that we will learn in this upcoming season and season finale.
Speaker 4This season finale is going to be a good one guy.
Speaker 2So I'm just gonna tell you that.
So so, I mean, so far, so great.
Speaker 1I feel like every episode is building on another one, and every time I think that I want to know more about something.
We pivot to something I care about, Like my ADHD is really stimulated right now.
Speaker 2It's like, oh and I care about that.
Oh, gell me more about that.
Speaker 1Oh, actually, no, you do need to answer for that one.
I do need a follow up on that conversation.
And Kelly, why are you here?
The fact that that girl got up and ran over to Shemiah in the middle of the sound bathroom was like your eyes not closed?
Speaker 2Why not?
Speaker 1I was like, Oh, this is wild.
Y'all are working hard over time and I love it.
Not y'all all in your fluffy lingerie and robes and just.
Speaker 4The cheeks out right.
Speaker 2Hey, it was just in Atlanta.
Party is just It's good though.
They did, but they.
Speaker 1Did not come to play with you girls like they did not.
They actually looked really, really great and I'm I'm really loving this season.
I really would like.
I have a lot of questions about Angela and Charles.
I haven't decided where I stand on her yet.
I thought I didn't like her, and then my Housewives brain kicked on and I thought to myself, that might be why I love her, because I don't like her.
Speaker 4Yeah, I think she works in the dynamic you.
Speaker 1Know, and Carlos King said that they've been trying to get her on for some years.
Speaker 4Since season three or something.
Speaker 2Yeah, that's crazy to me.
What was the hold up?
Speaker 3Yeah, she didn't want to do it, like I think she was turning it down.
Speaker 1I don't know what changed, but pieces, I don't know.
She wants to make them.
If anything, if she's gonna leave, she needs to make obviously make a certain like a step rate in a big way, like and have a life for herself.
And we think we saw maybe she's gonna try that real estate by trying to sell.
Speaker 3Yeah, how she wants to load off these hot like we couldn't buy one house at a time and build them up and reselling.
Speaker 4We're gonna buy.
Speaker 1That house to Kelly for three million dollars Angela.
And it's also not even stage finished or rendered correctly.
He said, we have a lovely What did it reminded me of when Trump said concepts of a plan?
She said, we have blueprints of what it will look like, what it could look like.
I said, but could in what I'm buying are not the same thing.
I don't want to buy it could.
Speaker 2For three million of them things I need to know.
Speaker 3What it's look like, especially opening that closet door and it's looking like the laundry room.
Speaker 2Huh, no meal, and I agree with any point.
Confused, I don't know about that.
So and one house solving all your debts problems is actually.
Speaker 1Not how the state works.
Like called Jeff Lewis and just do something else, girl.
But maybe this is her moment, like this is her deep cut house.
I was of Dallas.
This is her Carrie camouflage by Carrie Jewelry line where she just gonna run around Thailand or something and collecting random beads and jewelry and put them together so she can divorce that man and stand on her own two feet.
Got book, and that's all we want.
I feel like if Angela could have done anything, she should have just not see anybody's agents and say we have a blended family of four.
Speaker 3Yeah, she definitely, in my opinion, calls she invited this.
Yeah, she opened the door, you know, and that's what it came in and flooded it because she came in my comments because I was questioning it too.
I was like, even in the pictures, is he older?
Is he younger?
Like when was he born?
And she came in my comments, like Charles Julia is a grown and you'll just have to watch.
Speaker 4And see it play.
I was like, okay, girl, I'm seeing it.
Speaker 1Feel like that's your way of saying, we're not gonna know, and you're not gonna tell us.
Speaker 3And she told us to tune in, and that's what she said, tune in and it'll all unfold.
And she said, but she did say.
She said that Charles Junior was a grown man.
That's what she said in my comments.
She even came to my DM too.
She was mad at me, child because I was putting my theories together and I had posted the Wendy Williams and if you were trying to understand because it was circulating everywhere, That's what she told me.
And I said, I'm seeing the girl like, I don't want this to be true at all.
Speaker 2I don't want you to have this life.
Speaker 1You have this life.
This is what you I'm discussing when you've presented me exactly.
Can only dissect and digest what you have given me to eat, and this is what you've given me.
And I'm letting you know, I'm asking what the ingredients saw.
I'm like, oh, so what kind.
Speaker 2Of cheesecake is it?
Speaker 1Don't ask questions what are you talking about?
You're giving me a cheesecake.
I want to know what kind.
Speaker 2They vary.
There are different colors and flavors and whatnot.
How old are your kids?
Like what kind of grown?
Speaker 1I ask you questions about that because her daughter being twenty four, you know, people couldn't even guess when Angela's age was two three weeks ago.
It was like the biggest topic on the internet, and they're saying forty four.
Me and Kendrick Tucker shout out to Kendrick, we disagree.
I just believe when I see the driver's license myself.
Speaker 4I agree.
I don't believe that at all.
Speaker 3Like the hot flashes got that wig slipping back like a convertible.
Speaker 1Okay, right, it's giving Kim Zosiak remember when back in the day she in that highly synthetic, very flammable.
Speaker 2Wig, was like, I'm thirty nine or twenty nine.
Speaker 1We were like twenty exactly twenty what.
He couldn't even keep it together.
He was like, you're what twenty twenty nine?
Speaker 2When were you born?
He was like, there's no way.
Speaker 1He felt like the bouncer, you know, I feel like that's gonna be on this season of Atlanta, The Reunion, the bouncer, what's your birthday?
Give me the age like you remember to run it off real quick.
From that, From that idea, Okay, this Angela girl, I'm confused because she talks about I mean, yes, having a baby at twenty is young because her daughter, I think it is twenty four, so she would have had her at twenty if she is forty four.
And she was like, you know, having her young, she had to do a lot of growing and all lot of stuff.
And I'm like, twenty is young.
But but then how old is Charles Junior?
Speaker 2If that's young?
So how old was Charles when he?
Should we ask for her?
Speaker 1How old was he when he had his first baby?
That seems to be where we're where we're that's what.
Speaker 2The blend is.
Okay.
Speaker 1My only thing is Gabriel Union told us that baby wasn't hers, but she.
Speaker 2Loved him anyway.
She told us the truth.
Speaker 4That's right.
Speaker 2It was a break baby, and we understood, we judged, but we understood.
Speaker 1We understand now.
But we can only deal with what you tell us.
And you can't get mad at my girl of Vanessa's DM's girl and her comments if you then want who put it on TV?
Speaker 2It made us go, now what right?
Speaker 3Because I said I was asking on my podcast because I said, y'all, I rewinded this shit like three times.
Speaker 4It's like, y'all me, it's not making sense.
Speaker 3And it was two young children in the picture, so I'm trying to and I was like, they.
Speaker 4Look a little maget age, so what's going on here?
Speaker 3Like so it was just allegations and assumptions that I was trying to piece together.
Speaker 4But I told her like seated says, proved me wrong.
Speaker 3I would love for you too, and like nobody wants this to be your life, like you said, like this is what.
Speaker 4I'm just trying to piece together.
Speaker 2Yeah, I don't know, but listen angela girl.
Speaker 1Yeah, I feel like her first ringing is gonna be the telltale son on whether or not we you know, will get her again.
While I think she's reality TV goal, she has opened up a lot of warmholes that like we can't not close.
Like it's it's juicy and good for us, it's good TV, but it does mean that we will have to she will have to answer some questions and then continue to for seasons to come.
They're never gonna let up off that girl golf of her now, Like it's just not gonna happen.
This is Atlanta, this is the big leagues, and so I but I also think she'll do it.
Speaker 2I hope she'll.
Speaker 3She says she's very transparent that she hasn't you know, she's been honest about his infidelity.
She mentioned that when she talked about the whole Wendy Williams thing.
So I think she will answer the questions.
I think she will show up, you know.
Like you said, it's like we're still getting to know her.
Some things I'm still figuring out.
But then there's some shade she throws, and I'm like.
Speaker 4I like you.
Speaker 1She reminds me of Stacy from pot Tomac, where I have.
Speaker 2A lot of questions.
There's a little bit of Delulu in there that maybe.
Speaker 1I can work with Bell, but it's like no dangerous and she's transparent about it.
Speaker 2Yeh.
Speaker 1It's very open about where like she's made mistakes, made decisions that we all can go hun that wasn't a good choice, But she's open about it and I can respect that.
Speaker 3Right, And then when you turn around at the Belly barbecue and say the stretch marks around your mouth, you got mouths on your mouth.
Speaker 2I'm like, okay, okay.
Speaker 1Her started to film Porsia that night when they were in the tub because she heard Porche say that she maybe she should sleep with Charles, and so she was like, oh, you clearly want to, you know, show off for the cameras.
Speaker 2So I'm doing now.
I'm not gonna do it for this, I said, no, girl.
Now.
She didn't confront her.
She said, let me feel that documentation.
Speaker 3There's a there's a foundation of a good housewife there.
What what she does with it is what's going to be the determining factor.
Speaker 4Like you said, I agree.
Speaker 1Yeah, you know when some certain people are just made for television.
And there are a few of the girlies on Atlanta right now that I still get that vibe.
Speaker 2Angela is one of them.
Speaker 1Britt I could care less about because she's so inauthentic that there's nothing that I believe enough to care enough or care enough to believe in, you know.
Speaker 2What I mean.
I don't.
Speaker 3Bryan's like the sisters her like it was Philly when they and it wasn't It was the scene for me where it was like Brittany and one sister at the mom's house helping her clean out the house, and the other sister called that they were saying that they don't speak too often, and they get her on the phone and they start all crying the mom Brittany, and this is.
Speaker 4That it was not authentic to me.
Speaker 3It didn't feel And I go off my feelings because with somebody that I feel is being genuine is on my TV crying, I'm crying with them, I'm laughing with them.
So if I don't get that gup feeling, that's just my pain.
And I'm like, I'm not feeling the genuine you know, the genuine is here.
Speaker 1So I've Proba this season like twice, like I've really felt her pain.
I've proud a Porsche even I felt her pain.
I have not felt any of Britain.
I don't feel bad for I don't understand is your struggle that your husband and sisters and family are so upse sess with you because you're so great that they are fighting for your time?
Speaker 2Yeah?
Speaker 1Is that the struggle is that what I'm led to believe is the hardest thing in your life.
Speaker 2Right, It's crazy because what like.
Speaker 1That is a wild thought for me to think, is that you gonna think that that's a storyline.
I would rather I care more about Why Charles don't give a fuck about Angela's family business?
Speaker 2Why what you're busy with?
Sir?
What are we talking about?
Why you don't know?
Speaker 1I just like want to know what's that dynamic?
Like I care more about that.
Why aren't you obsessed with your family?
Speaker 2You know what I mean?
Like I care about that?
Speaker 1Not they just let me so much.
Guys, my husband and my sisters fight over me.
It's so wild.
Speaker 3And my husband's getting me a new car every two years, that this.
Speaker 1Ring every couple of years, Which how dare can you ask me when I like, don't clarify that I have a second ring but not a second husband, Like.
Speaker 3There was no wedding band on because that's not like that's the whole tradition of it all.
Speaker 1You know, like you're married with no wedding band.
You know, there's a set like a wedding set.
Let's girls, No, it separates the girls.
You coming at Kenya like I have a husband and you don't.
But do we know that I'm not supposed to know I'm asking questions because you don't have the band on.
Speaker 2So you take.
Speaker 4Your sisters?
Speaker 2Yeah, key, like really wild, Like I don't understand it.
Speaker 1I think her sisters it should run farway from her and that husband of hers.
They are desperate and they should be going to I think they're on the wrong show.
But I don't know where to put them at the moment.
I just know that they don't belong on Bravo No quite yet, so they can keep that.
Certain people are made for reality TV.
Most of them have been landed on the cast of The Valley Wow.
This season has been quite a roller coaster of events.
You know, it's crazy because we started the season with like ten seconds but like the first couple scenes of Jax Taylor going to you know, rehab, I hasn't going to prison in my head, Wanka Holp, but going to rehab, going to treatment and trying to bargain the days and discount the days of where we are.
That lasted ten minutes of an episode.
And now he's rage texting from the rehab while we're on a cash trip to Santa Barbara because he feels so left out.
This show is a level of trashy, but I have not seen it in a while, but also was not marketed as such because everyone has strollers, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2Like, but don't let the strollers fool you.
This is a hot mess.
Speaker 3The stroller's got more baggage and messing it than it do baby.
Speaker 2Okay, it's just storage at this point because.
Speaker 4Nannies they just carry it around.
Nonsense.
Speaker 1Literally the babies with the nannies Andy there holding the baby's hand, they're both watching their parents like struggle with all this baggage and these strollers Like damn, that's.
Speaker 2A lot they got carrying one.
Ain't that about it?
You know?
Speaker 1Like listen, I don't know what to do about like my future friends when I'm in the second or third or fourth grade telling me that my dad said my mom sleeps with billionaires for fifteen hundred dollars a night.
Speaker 2What do I do When the man says, oh, your mom is cheap.
Speaker 1What do I do?
What do I do?
You can't take it back?
And you said that you said that to suss out a mole.
That's crazy.
Work of all the ways.
Speaker 4And what do I do?
Speaker 3And even with Danny, what do I do when they come up to me and tell your daddy get drunk on TV a lot, and they say he out here touching butts.
Speaker 2I don't know, we do.
Speaker 4What do we do?
Speaker 2All?
Speaker 1My mom said, your daddy be touching bucks when he's drunk.
Yes, that is conversations that children have.
I have been a teacher in elementary school for a long time.
Let me tell you so them kids know, they hear and it is not It can be in any kind of community.
I've worked in the country clubbist of communities, and the kids in third grade will tell you if your mama has been sipping the wine too much, okay, mammy juice too much, or if dad has a few beers too many when it comes up in a read aloud or on the screen of three juices for dad.
Hell, those look my dad's beers, but he has like six a night, my mom yells at him.
And then so now we're all looking at each other like huh really, oh.
Speaker 2Really, tell us more about that.
Speaker 1But that's going on at your kids' school because your ass decided to put on Bravo TV's The Valley I had of going on a cash trip that your wife ex wife soon to be not even the horse chet cheated on you more than once, possibly has a boyfriend, but also sleeps with billionaires for money.
Speaker 2So you say, you know, she's just a whore like all around.
Speaker 1It's like no no stop, no boundary, no line to crawl.
Speaker 2She don't care.
Speaker 1She'll on the man she cheated on her man with, like she'll just cheat, She'll just do whatever for fifteen hundred dollars as if the value paces doesn't pay more than at least a thousand dollars an episode.
Speaker 2I know that much.
Yeah.
Speaker 3Meanwhile, she's saying, like you do You the one spent up all the money, like you love it putting up all the money.
He said, I gotta work, Oh listen, true or not, someone has to make a lispit And that wasn't gonna be used money about this whole okay, okay, Like how I'm supposed to leave you and you have no money and you mad at me because I went to a different man, Like could you blame me?
Speaker 2Literally?
Speaker 3Yeah, So it's one thing if because she said in the episode too right, like you ain't treating me well, you ain't telling me I'm beautiful, You're not paying me any attention, So you're gonna do all.
Speaker 4That and not pay the bills right and put us in that.
Speaker 3It's like, you know, you're gonna have to pick a struggle here because some of us won't.
We don't mind crying in the rolls words, okay, but if you're not by the Roys and.
Speaker 2You ain't doing I'm posed to cry in now.
Speaker 1I'm cold, lonely, am broke, have all to do bad, all by myself.
Speaker 2Everyone, Miss Taraji and Tyler used to say, I can.
I don't need this.
Speaker 1She got two boyfriends, one billionaire and one air and or whatever his name is.
Speaker 2Listen, it looks a little weird, though.
Speaker 1You know, a couple of these guys I think are I have questions about and I think they have questions about themselves as well.
I think they have things they want to question.
I think I have things I want to question.
It's giving for my girlies who watch Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which on the day I'm recording this has just dropped season two and the Ghetto Trash are the ficially begun.
I have eight minutes left in the second episode and I have already like raised texted like.
Speaker 2I could not waste no time.
Speaker 1In fact, I did it wrong, and I had to pull myself off of it to watch the Valley because I was like, in the Valley was good.
It's just that I was in the mess already.
I was in that deep dirty soda with the girls when you took her up tonight, I rack comman, ladies, gens, those in between.
Get you some good, something superable, something simpable, a hugging a cup and watch these middle parks.
Let me tell you, the Housewives, this is not everybody's spot is replaceable from so there it is, alrighty, we are in it so fast, so quick, so early.
I'm having a great time over there, but like it's given.
You know, some of the husbands over there on the you know the Moment Wives show, you go, huh.
You go on to one of them all boy camping trips on the weekends, don't you?
Speaker 4Yeah?
Speaker 2Don't you like?
Just guys, I'm feeling like Jesse do too.
Speaker 3I mean between the between the man pennies in the episode Priory, the headband with the hair slick bag telling telling your strange wife that she's a cheated or like, I'm just like and then where are these cash shops coming from?
Speaker 2That she mentioned?
Speaker 4I want to know more about what.
Speaker 1You want to know more, because then I'm also gonna ask, like I mean, I think then the memo say a question that I feel like a man even like Andy Cohen wouldn't ask him.
It's like then, but the nice ladyhood, It's like, then, why weren't you touching her or giving her any attention for those years?
Speaker 2I'm just right, what was it?
Speaker 1Just?
Speaker 2I just want to know?
Speaker 1And which case can you be mad at her for that?
Yeah, you know, maybe going up the timing was wrong or something, But also what choices did we leave if.
Speaker 2You're not.
Speaker 1You are uninterested, not even not engaging.
The girl said you don't want me.
It was very clear you don't do You wouldn't hold my hand, wouldn't look me in the eye, give me a kiss on the way in.
Speaker 2Or out of work, implement nothing nothing not compliment.
Speaker 1Now that's crazy, because that's so simple.
You can at least like buy yourself two more years of like a mirage of it working if you got a good couple of compliments.
But he could muster up a one right with the billionaire rumor, we came up with it.
No time to suss oude a mole and Jack what in this boy shut the boys chat down?
Yes, it's a it's gonna mess up a lot of y'all's lives and they don't know it.
I'm like, oh no, y'all are sitting on a minefield and they're just adding more and more boys to the mindfield every day.
Speaker 4And Luke, I will say, Luke showed up.
Speaker 3I mean because he the one that told about what happened in the in the in the group chat.
Speaker 2Yes, then he came in service.
Speaker 3And then yes, and then he came for I mean a little sus with the mermaid as his as his uh his, how all passed.
He said that it was the little Mermaid that was weird.
Not we know that the little Mermaid was a teenager.
I'm just saying it was a little weird.
Speaker 2But oh yes, she liked.
Speaker 1But then also we should dress, we should addressed that Disney did that.
That's not even his fault.
Disney done made them teenagers sexualize.
That's not our it's not all their ages are questionable, like Angela and Charles's kids, their ages are very questionable.
Speaker 2We don't know, like we don't know, you know.
Speaker 1So, but that's that's a little weird, but you know, I hear you.
I see what you're saying.
Speaker 3Yeah, And then he called Jesse out at the wine tasting when he Jesse tried to come for him and he was like, and you're not manly at all, Like you're giving very much feminine.
Speaker 2Like okay, okay.
Speaker 1So I'm like, okay, and and there's nothing there to be ashamed of.
Speaker 2So why did I just let me know?
But I just want to know.
Speaker 1I just think it would add context as a situation.
We can stop asking those questions and ask different questions because it's just given how you move in is a little bit inauthentic in some ways, and there might be something to that that you might want to work out.
Iron that out.
It's okay, just let me blink twice.
If you go on the Utah camping trips with Doubleys, be on is okay?
You go with the boys, okay, Like, but the Valley is a ratchet show.
Speaker 2I'm having a nice time.
Speaker 1It's like Parent VH one.
It's like like it is.
Speaker 2It shows that.
Speaker 1You don't really have to have it all together to be considered an adult, right.
Speaker 3And they don't and at all speaking of like be all together.
What I was wondering too is Nia, Nia and Daniel became a topic of conversation with half of the group being upset with them that when they argue, they don't I guess necessarily share that or being transparent about that.
So how did you feel with how did you feel about Brittany and the other girls being so upset about feeling like Nia is not sharing her authentic life when they you know, she feels like she's laying it all out on the line, like you can't help I feel like with Brittany, what came to the forefront for you?
Speaker 4It was bubbling over like child.
We all knew this man.
Speaker 1This has been a simmering pot of rights on the back burner on Low since like season seven, like the problem he is burked, the right is burnt at the podcast one Low, like we've been simmering on this for a decade like Jack's.
Taylor has been looking to destroy some young woman's life since the moment we met him, and watch that ruin four or five other young women's lives.
Speaker 3Right, like you're not telling this is it's not even breaking through or.
Speaker 1I just was an asshole to you And he has a co co addiction.
He's all had a co connections.
Speaker 3The eyes stretched open since he was out there in Las Vegas in the parking lot pulling his shirt off, like you want.
Speaker 2To again, you want to go again?
What is wrong with you?
Like for real?
Speaker 1Like we've him finding out that he's bipolar.
He's the last to know.
Speaker 2We've all been the first money of us here one psychological psychology want on one class in college, however many years ago, and said now that right there looks textbook like he need to call the lady, like something over there and not clean.
Speaker 1So y'all find this out in twenty twenty five, does not really do anything to move that needle for me.
Like I feel glad that Brittany is standing up for her son and fighting back.
I do not feel bad for Brittany because Villa, since the very beginning, I understand you, going love and understand you and manipulated so a stosy schroedder Loralai Carmen veil whatever.
That girl with the black hair's name was Christian Zody, Like we've watched a lot of girls actually have this exactly.
We sing the blueprint right and for you to want so badly to be on a show where the blueprint was laid out in front of you, and you said you thought you could change him.
Speaker 2I'm like, I don't know why.
Speaker 3Yeah, Lepid don't change his spots and you can't teach your old dog new tricks.
Speaker 1And you were like twenty four but her he literally diated a range of like twenty one to forty year olds and all of them were like, oh no, this is a toxic situation.
We should run.
You let this man impregnant you.
And now you love your son and want to protect him, and you not have to spend your life protecting him from his own father because he's not going to make this easy for the rest of your life, for the rest of the.
Speaker 3Text thing, the rage texting you have a choice rehab.
Speaker 2It's crazy.
Speaker 3Yeah, like you you don't your block buttons don't work.
We all got the same I phone, don't We Like you're using to get these messages as part of your storyline.
Speaker 2So then because she.
Speaker 1May not want to air her out like air her man and stuff out like that, it gives really reminiscent of like Arianna and back in the day, like her and Tom's uh, they you know, everybody accusing them of not being transparent about their fights and whatnot on the show.
And you know, to that, I say, be careful what you wish for, because then we got Sandoval and now the whole show was basically paused because no one cares about anything else other than what happened up and there, because they were being transparent enough that we knew that that shouldn't have happened.
Like and they're drama in their fights, or they're drama in their fights, but when you have a relationship like what these some of these girlies have on the Valley, you're not being transparent.
You just made a wrong choice in partner and it's aired out like.
Speaker 2You don't have a choice, it's just on the camera.
Speaker 1Like you to control the crazy in your own four doors, Like, but your home would be experiencing this regardless, is the facts?
Speaker 2Right?
Speaker 3Yeah, speaking of that, like you mentioned with you know, be careful what you wish for and because your show will be sitting on the shelf.
Speaker 4There was talks today.
Speaker 3Did you see that they're being different ass members and low ratings and that they're crazy considering the Valley Like that caught me by surprise.
I'm not gonna say I necessarily believe.
I mean, I know it's a credible page TV dates that he usually has a lot of inside school, but I'm just not completely sold on it because it's such a trashy good time.
Like I'm enjoying, you know, Michelle and Jesse yelling at each other up the stairs and arguing at the winery.
Speaker 4I'm enjoying it, you.
Speaker 1Know, Like I enjoyed Michelle trying to kick that man out of the house that he rented, like did he pay for it?
Speaker 2No?
Speaker 1But the fact that she was like, he organized a trip, but she was like, so he can stay at a hotel.
That was hilarious to me.
But that's the kind of infighting I want between a couple.
Speaker 2It's like, out of it up.
Speaker 3Yeah, you showed up a trip that your strange husband is throwing and expecting to have a good time, and that.
Speaker 1Ass and felt so entitled to having a nice time.
She was like, you should about him out.
I'm like, no, why, Now, I understand he's an asshole, but that has nothing to do with his bearings on booking an airbnb.
Kristin and the girls like, no, it's still a cute howling we'll do that.
I want to drink wine and have a nice bathroom.
Speaker 4Yeah, like you, what did you really expect here?
Speaker 1That was just funny to me.
Grasping at straws.
You're gonna call me a prostitut, I'm gonna kick you out of your own yes.
Speaker 3And then just you being upset with your ex wife although you tell us you're in love and you've moved on, and you are purposely having this this woman that's allegedly sleeping with David Hasselhoff around your daughter.
Speaker 4What are we talking about here?
Like, give me more?
Speaker 2Like, I have so many questions.
Speaker 1They just filmed their reunion, so we'll see about that, and they filmed it mad early, like with mid through the season because the girls are very praggnantant.
Speaker 2They're due.
I think both of them are like doing tune.
Speaker 1So they couldn't really wait till the season finished airing because them girls are not making it okay.
They were not coming, so they chose to do it the safe way, and I love that for them, if you know.
Kudos and kadoos to the girls who were pregnant and still getting it this season.
Kristin, you really did your big one you're still giving me all the mess, all the confusion, like all the everything you know, wrong side mixed match loyalty.
I don't know if you're coming or going.
You're a girl's girl and a dudes got a girl at the same time.
Speaker 2It's very confusing.
But you're pregnant and getting it and.
Speaker 1This is you know, this is what I tried to tell even Marcelle it can be done.
Speaker 2You just weren't doing it and that's why you had to go.
Speaker 3Yeah, Christian Is She's hilarious to me, Like for her to be the voice of reason for Jackson is having mind blowing the fact that you are so you know, hell bent for what we're seeing on getting pregnant and tracking your tracking your ovulation, yet you will not stop drinking.
Speaker 2I love it.
Speaker 1It's crazy, Like didn't can just tell us, miss Ashley.
Speaker 2Don't do that.
You're not gonna get pregnant.
Speaker 1You keep drinking coronas, You're not getting pregnant like us, Like.
Speaker 3I mean in Woodstock and in the seventies, how did our moms and stuff get pregnant?
They we're still drinking and stuff.
So it has to be away cool sis, do your thing.
Speaker 1Yeah, go off girl, but listen, we know that you know she's pregnant and it's it's happening now and so you know, you know, shout out to a healthy baby for Kristen.
That relationship.
I always get nervous whenever I look at relationships play out on TV, especially when kids are involved, because any relationship.
Speaker 2With Christens I have to question market.
I just do.
Speaker 1It has an asterisk a TBD symbol over it.
It just does because we make poor choices and we stay in them well longer than we should.
Speaker 2So yeah, the Valley, I'm tuned in.
Speaker 1It's probably one of the few things this I've watched so many everything I've watched those week has been so like it had to be the best, like really, give it to me good because I have not been able to peel my eyes away no matter where I have been on this this Diddy trial, it has been absolutely crazy.
I am not gonna get into like the transcripts and specifics.
It is all out there if you want to go look, but at like the lifeguards say at the beach, like swim at your own risk, literally no pun intended, swim at your own risk, Like don't go if you can't handle it if you gotta.
If your level and threshold is short, and I thought mine was wide.
But we were on day four and I simply am like, y'all call me when the sentence it happens, because it's clearance happening.
Speaker 2Oh, that man got to go somewhere.
He's gonna go on down.
Speaker 4I don't know.
Speaker 2Where they're gonna send them.
Speaker 1On day four, we're on like testimony maybe number three of like fifty thousand individuals that like so many people have been subpoena.
We're talking about like dozens of people, and we're on like person number four.
Cassie is on day two of testimony.
Aubrey O'Day was announced to now from Danny Kane is gonna be testifying testifying.
We know that Don from Danny Kane is going to testify because that's what pushed the prosecution over the edge and filing this case.
Like there is a lot to uncover, and with every person, it's like a Russian doll, like you get like, you know, what does this have to do?
Because I really did day one, I had a hard time figuring out what cass how they were gonna like connect Cassie and Diddy being a terrible individual, monster to that girl, like in all the ways, abusive, awful partner, the whole thing, controlling, all the stuff.
How that is going to connect to a racketeering case?
And I know that sounds crazy, but like that's the way the justice system works.
His own defense team was like, yeah, we'll admit to the abuse, but like, what I got to do with this, that's.
Speaker 2What we're here for.
And they're not wrong.
Speaker 1So I just like, you know, and in the sense of like putting these people through their trauma just for like, for for what purpose?
I was confused until you know, Day two connected to a little bit more and then Aubrio dat kind of connects to a pattern of him using his singers and like, you know, his talent in various ways that are inappropriate, abusive and terrible.
Speaker 2Right and then Dawn and then like, oh.
Speaker 1No, there's there's something happening here, and we might this feels like the Nickelodeon Discovery documentary for like the hip hop boy music industry.
Speaker 2You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1It feels like like the dark side of hip hop is happening right now.
Speaker 3It's definitely in my opinion, and I'm no lawyer, So disclaimer there, but it gives as far as the trafficking charges that he's up against.
Listening to Cass these testimonies, it does feel like they're going to tie that into her testimony of what we would be in Los Angeles, Miami, Vegas and we would have these you know, I would be in charge of paying or he would bring the cash.
Speaker 4We would fly these people in.
Speaker 3So once you're crossing state lines right right, or for sexual pleasures.
I do think that's how they're going to tie in the trafficking, right I you know, and agree a lot of her stories of abuse and stuff are not really up for his charges, So I think that's how they're tying in her testimony.
Speaker 4Just my thoughts.
Speaker 3I don't see him doing fifteen to life.
I don't I see him getting ten, serving about five.
Speaker 1That's just I was thinking ten, serve seven or like seven and serve five, Like yeah, I think that they'll credit.
Speaker 2Some of the time that he's been in prison.
Speaker 1He had a ten year sentence with time served, then that would be like a seven year sentence and then you know, because he's he has been in there, and I think that they're gonna be like you know, for how serious the things are.
He has started serving his time, he has been humbled another he looked awful, terrible.
Speaker 2Terrible, And.
Speaker 4Who is doing these drawings?
Speaker 2Because out to get them?
Like he has an agenda?
Speaker 4Who is drawing this?
I want to fire to meet him?
Speaker 2Like, oh you hate them?
He said the rich.
Speaker 4I said that.
Ain't that?
Ain't did it?
Speaker 1My mama literally sent it to me like one of the pictures because she just saw it like pop up on her iPhone, like you know, the news articles, and she was like, just like this person is like this is horrible.
If you has good it, she goes, No, what you want to see us say?
He's the one right there?
And no, no, who is that?
Speaker 2Said question mark?
He's not the same man, Amma.
Speaker 4I told you, I said, al capone?
Is that you?
Speaker 2What in the world is going on here?
Speaker 3That?
Speaker 1And while I want every day to like have a little bit more of a boundary and not read too much, I will say my conspiracy theory brain and my tinfoil had perked up right up.
So I'm I'm a young I'm a millennial is what they call him.
I was, you know, I'm literally right in the middle of gen Z and millennials, So like I was raised a.
Speaker 2Millennial a way, but I understand gen Z.
Speaker 1You know brain that money use is that, So that's like for between like ninety five and ninety seven ninety eight, So like, you know, we're like mid nineties or to like a little bit late nineties, where a lot of gen Z one of the two thousands, so they don't have nineties experience.
Like a lot of our shows were canceled even by the time gen Z were born, but a lot of millennial shows were still on by the time we were born.
So like I grew up with Moesha and the Park and all that, but the kids like five years under me did not, So we're in the same like realm.
Speaker 2But like I remember my.
Speaker 1Super Sweet sixteen where he had two children on Nashell, one Justin Cohnes, one Quincy.
Quincy is not his son.
I had questions in the wherewithal even back then, to be like, how did a man who is alive and well end up signing over parental rights to another man?
Speaker 2That just felt so like wild to me.
Speaker 1Oh for this woman that he still wasn't married to, like Kim Porter, they weren't like married at least what I remember.
Speaker 2So I had a lot of questions, like how.
Speaker 1He would do that and convince this man to do that in a home and a household that isn't like y'all not even married, so like, I don't even it's not even like a step parent situation like that was so confusing to me, even as a young person.
Then fast forward to when Kwiin Porter died, and that has never sat well with me since I have literally never been I've never slept.
Speaker 2That's easy about that man.
Speaker 1Since kim Porter died and I was like, how in the hell does a model with access to all the money, all the treatment, all the anything in the world die of pneumonia.
Speaker 2I've had pneumonia.
I'm not healthy at all.
My mama has had pneumonia.
She has a lot of health risks we alive.
Speaker 1I'm confused, Like I just it was a very it was a very confusing situation because for him to be here, for him to preach so much on Super Sweet Sixteen and anywhere else that she was the ultimate love of his life, even while we knew he was with Cassie, which is kind of crazy to me.
All of that and you're not gonna do anything the same.
It just like it just felt a little bit like and I know people are like, you know, it doesn't mean pneumonia or COVID.
It takes who it takes, sure, Okay.
And I'm hearing some patterns and some things that concern me and these open trials that make me question and wonder if maybe we should have looked into that that lady dian of pneumonia.
Speaker 3Yeah, I think Jack, you are right, is out there that she is.
I always think about how she says, you know, like Uptown records and how it's started everyone you know, Andre Hareli, heavy d Kim Porta being the longest employee Uptown, like all of the everyone has died except for him, you know, So I think.
Speaker 4About that too.
And at first with Kim.
Speaker 3I was like, was she like a first to have COVID And we didn't know was it that?
But it's always been something in the back of my mind of how does a woman.
Speaker 4With all of you know, like you said, access just die at home of pneumonia.
Speaker 2I just see.
Speaker 4It's definitely concerned me, and it.
Speaker 1Now makes me question it even more considering I'm hearing and I'm learning all the things and precautions that he took to rehab this young lady, Cassie so she can continue to partake in d these quote unquote freak offfs, massages and ivs and doctors and constant prescriptions for UTI's and all these things.
You got all the resources apparently at your disposal, and you will use them.
Speaker 2So then what is it?
Speaker 1Why wouldn't we ask this question, like, how does it not make you go?
No, wait a minute, I got some questions then, because that serves you in kim port of the love of your life, didn't but you on the Instagram more than her loss and putting it up.
If you weren't publicly trying to play in gaslight people into believing one narrative.
But we're literally acting actively seeing evidence of a different narrative, then I think there would be a different story.
But we watched you make tributes on the internet to your young girls, you know, to your daughters and to their mom and to your other kid's mom.
Speaker 2Like we watched that happen.
Speaker 1I want you to acceptance speeches, you know, talking about Cassie Leavin and it being a different situation than what I'm hearing, and the fact this lady's gonna traumatize herself at eight and a half months pregnant, even after receiving twenty million dollars from you.
She There is a reason why, and it is so justice can be served and this story can be told so that your entire reputation at the very least gets completely demolished, because, like you said, if everybody else is dead and you're the only person here to live to tell this tale, it needs to be accurate.
Speaker 2And that man is monstrous and apparently we've let him get alloy with too much.
Speaker 1And I don't want to hear y'all trying to tear a black man down, because we've done this to anybody that has this kind of like Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein, Bill Cosby, Like this entitlement to women being like beneath you and doing whatever you want it under your control is weird and ridiculous, and it is also not legal in a lot of ways.
Speaker 2And you should just be out of count before it bo.
That's just the way it is.
Speaker 1Like, this is not the same things like trying to tear down any other black man for some kind of injustice or wrongful something something.
Speaker 2All the things I'm reading is wrong.
Speaker 3Yeah, And I just and being someone I don't know my gen whatever generation I'm in, but all I can tell you is in eighth grade, I thought the world of P Diddy, like he was the biggest thing to me.
I remember doing well on my grades and my mother taking me to the P Didty and the Fam concert like it was one of my first concerts, and it was just shocking.
I will admit I was one of the people that were questioning this.
Speaker 4And is it really true?
Did he do this?
Speaker 3Like he has all this money, why does he have to, you know, strong arm women into doing these things for him?
At most you would think that anybody they all willing to drop the drugs for all the money that he got.
Speaker 1You know.
Speaker 2The group is.
Speaker 4Why is it necessary?
Speaker 3Like I and the day that the big video came out of Cassie and the Elevator, it hurt my hearts so bad to see someone that you hold cause you know, in the United States we do we I ain't gonna say we worship our celebrities.
We hold them to the higher regard.
And it disappointed me so bad to see that.
And now I see the extended fifteen minute video has been has been put out there of like an extended fifteen minutes of that.
I couldn't even watch it, Like I couldn't believe get through.
Speaker 1The cross examinations today, Like I couldn't even get through that and relive in the videos they did that on like day one, I was like, that's crazy to me.
And this is supposed to be I think an eight week trial.
That's kind of a long thing.
Speaker 2Now.
Speaker 1I wanted to know, like, final question your thought on so the twins, the daughters, they keep getting ushered out before certain parts of the testimony.
People have, you know, had some discussion on whether or not they should be excluded from hearing, you know, the sins of their father and the things that he has done, especially to Cassie, who was only a year older than they were when he started doing all these things to her.
I feel like they should know how they I mean hot take, but I feel like they at this age they should know.
Honestly, they should be forewarned about the kind of men that.
Speaker 2Are out there.
Speaker 4How old are they?
Speaker 2How old seventeen?
They went to prom last year?
Speaker 4Okay, so they went to sing.
Speaker 2A prom like last year or yeah, last year.
Speaker 1I think they graduate this year or something, or they just graduated, and so they're like eighteen or something.
They're literally only a year younger than Cassie was, and Cassie started with him at like.
Speaker 2Nineteen, So.
Speaker 1They should know that these kind of predators exist, to be honest to me, because that's to me, the job of a parent is to also help you learn how to be aware of your surroundings, know what threats are out there with things that you know you should stay away from, what situations and kind of people you should stay away from ain't quite Frankly, ladies, you should stay away from people like your daddy and you've only known him as your daddy.
So I hate to say it, but it is true, and it is factual that they could have also had questions their entire lives about certain things and not understood certain things because kids are highly perceptive their entire lives and not know what the difference between like what was what you know he said and what is the truth?
But the truth is the truth, And I feel like they preserving them to me, I don't feel like does.
Speaker 2Anything at this age of where they are.
Speaker 1If they were almost any age younger, I might have a different opinion if there was custody involved, they could live anywhere else?
Speaker 2Are they?
Speaker 1Like, you know, there was still another all of that, sure, But the image of your daddy being this individual is not something that you need to be protected from.
You're not twelve, you're not ten, you're not eight, you're not even fifteen.
You are old enough to attend.
You were the kind of girls he was calling to attend these parties.
And I mean, to be honest, it's because men don't think about those consequences often when they make these these poor decisions and these and do these bad behaviors.
But I think that it's like one of those things they're gonna have to recover from all this regardless.
Speaker 2It's I don't know if.
Speaker 1It necessarily needs to be with like shoddy information and holes in the story, But like, what do you think on whether or not, like the girls should be still ushered out of the courtroom before they hear most of the testimony, because that's going to be happening a lot over the next eight weeks.
Speaker 3Then yeah, I think my personal opinion was I didn't think they should be there at all.
Speaker 4I question the reasoning of them being there.
I don't know if yeah, right.
Speaker 3And I get the wanting them to be there for like a simple the vote from from the jury, right.
I know that's normally why you want your family to show up.
I just felt like, just the snippets that I'm reading, the graphic details of it, Okay, I think at this point they know what their father is being accused of, the they know what is being said about him.
I just felt like the graphic nature of what I'm reading, I felt like at my grown age, I did, I said, this is inappropriate for me, That's true.
Speaker 2Reading a lot of it, I was like, oh, it's too much, you know, like it was.
Speaker 4That's just my take on it, you know, I get that.
Speaker 3And I thought I read something about Cassie saying that the first time she slept with him, she was about twenty two years old.
So I think I would feel more comfortable, honestly, if they were at that type of age twenty one, you know, you know a little bit older to be in the courtroom.
Speaker 4I just I don't the boys.
Speaker 3I think they're old enough, the you know, his sons are at all.
Speaker 1But they're even being a little bit like like they've been named in some things.
At certain points you know, or following that behavior.
Speaker 3Yeah, and not just because they're males.
I feel like they should be that.
I just feel like they're older and can be there and support.
But I just I personally don't think they should be in their period, not even just being ushered out the detailed and it's very graphic.
Speaker 4Guys, if you haven't.
Speaker 3Been following, I don't know how you could not, because it's in your feed, whether you want it to be or not.
It's talked about on the news, it's talked about on the radio every single day.
But it's just very graphic in nature that I personally don't think they should be there at all.
Speaker 1Yeah, so they're eighteen, they just turned eighteen.
They you know, she first met Combs when she was nineteen, so, you know, and that is where kind of like the whole story kicks off.
Speaker 2People have had some questions about that.
Speaker 1My thing is they're they're on the internet, right, so they're gonna see all of this almost regardless if they want to or not.
I think that they shouldn't.
Just if they are going to find out or be exposed to this, especially at eighteen, they're gonna look it up.
They're gonna they want to know, or they're gonna completely shut themselves off.
But they know how to work social media enough that they know how they're gonna navigate learning this information.
I feel like, if you're gonna take in this information, it shouldn't be just through the desensitization of social media.
If anything, if you're gonna take it on, you need to see how it affected that woman and how it affected the next woman and the other woman and the other women.
That they're not just screen grabs of transcripts of tweets from the shade room, you know what I mean.
But like, I think that the problem is that too often with young people, they learn so much through the screens because people think that they can't handle like what's happening in the real world.
But the thing is, when they experience the real world through the screens, they are completely desensitized to how like the gravity of the situation what your dad is being accused of is like severe, this is severe, This is like ruined lives of multiple individuals, families, like I'm hearing about we're talking about drug abuse and addiction and like like regular and physical abuse.
Speaker 2Like it's disgusting, and they should.
Speaker 1If they're gonna see it if they have to know if like, it'd be one thing if you've lived in like a world where there was like no access to this unless it was like publicized on the OJ trial or something.
And that's crazy because this is not being like filmed, and yet it's still like the most public trial that we've seen in some years.
I wish it was on TV, bro, I want it on court TV every day.
Speaker 2I'm so pissed about it.
Speaker 1I'm like, Judge, I have not forgiven that, Judge for not that that's put the cameras in there.
Speaker 2Because I can't only read with so many transcrits.
My eyes they start to, you know.
Speaker 1They and I guess what I'm reading.
I'm like God, because honestly, even I would like to see them.
I don't want to feel disconnected from this because we're talking about something racorteering and stuff is a transactional charge, is a transactional crime.
Speaker 2But these are human beings.
Speaker 1So I would like to know it from that perspective, if the jury gets to know it.
But I understand that like his daughters, like they don't deserve like they should.
It's young and it's graphic for them, and they don't deserve you know, you know this, they didn't do this quote unquote, but to me, that's Diddy's cross the bear.
Speaker 2You did this.
Speaker 1You put yourself in a situation where your children have to find out what kind of a monster you are in front of the whole world by all this control and crazy manipulation and alleged blowing up stuff because of you know, hanging out and you know with another artist or something like that, like you know, justice for kid Cutty apparently like a lot is there and I'm like, but he did this, Like no, his girls don't deserve this.
But also that's who that daddy is and he did not think about that.
So why do I have to think about that?
Or why does Cassie Attorney have to think about that?
Like you want them here for the show and the sympathy for the jury to be like to see his whole family stands behind him, but they stand behind him then not knowing what he is and what he's done, because you're ushering them out when that part comes to light.
Speaker 2So then they don't support him.
They just are there for show.
Speaker 1So if anything, I feel like it should have been like, you know, only the kids that actually support him, and this felt like it felt very tactful, but like I.
Speaker 2Would, that's my problem with him.
Speaker 3Yeah, it feels like there want to be there are not like not saying that anyone force them, but I feel like even they in their head are there to support as part of a tactic torit, you know, sympathy vote.
That's what concerns me about it the most.
And then again, like I said, the graphic parts of it, And it may be.
Speaker 4Because I'm such a daddy's girl, but I don't know.
Speaker 1It's just I don't know, And it maybe because I'm not famously for who's a new listener.
I was raised by narcissistic parents, so I am like very sensitive to these kinds of men and being like and I think that like it's there's never a good time to find out the sins of your parents, especially your father.
I learned that the hard way, and I was like eighteen, and I don't think it would have been any better if I was older.
I may be a little bit more therapy, but also I would have been gone.
I would have gone longer with them rose colored glasses on.
And I think that I think fondly for plenty of I just pray that, you know, for girls who are daddy's girls, that they have good daddies and these girls happen too.
Yeah, I just I'm concerned if they don't want to be there.
I hope they get the option to not come.
I like to stop seeing them, because if it is because they don't want one of them doesn't want to be there and they don't support this, I think that should be a respected boundary because that's probably based on them learning, you know, what they're learning and feeling how they feel, and that should be respected more than a sympathy vote for the jury for this man to get off for crimes he committed.
Speaker 3Yeah, and that's what it is like.
And you're telling me that they're eighteen.
Speaker 4I get it.
They can make their own decision.
Speaker 3And if they have decided to show up for him, cool, But if this is something that you've guys discussed with your lawyer team and saying how this would be great optics and that you're showing up for that, then that I necessarily don't believe in and write like yes, with growing up with my dad, we were very very very close.
Speaker 4He never did anything to this capacity, right.
Speaker 3But yeah, whatever, Yeah, this is a lot of the this is unfathomable, and that's a good thing, yeah, you know, but whatever he did, and you know, if he was in the streets or anything like that, never crossed paths with the dad that he was to me, you know.
So that's why I'm saying, like it doesn't take away from you know, maybe the dad he's been to them, but I worry about the tactic of them being there and the.
Speaker 4Graphics of it.
Speaker 3That's really what's me because it's like like, like we said, we're not getting into the transcripts, but listen, let me tell you some dirty stuff going on that what that means is un well.
Speaker 2Do you understand me?
Speaker 1The unwellness is is really deep, like it's really big, bad, Like yeah, it is not it is.
This is going to be the thing that is going to keep my attention for quite some time.
I don't know how I will keep up with it all.
Like the news this week has been absolutely insane.
Every Mermaid she got, you know, the little mermaid Barry.
What's going on y'all with with Lanes and they trying to say that Megan has something to do with the mangan said.
Speaker 4I said, I cannot.
Speaker 2Meghan has moved on from this situation.
Speaker 1I need y'all to understand the dead lady does not care about this Canadian midget.
Speaker 2At all at all.
Speaker 1She's on tour, she's cute, she's having a nice time, she's rich.
Speaker 2Why does she care he's in jail.
Yeah, I get that.
Speaker 3This like they really are trying to say because of this whatever, like this piece of information that this bodyguard is saying that Tory wasn't the one that that you know, shot her in the foot.
It's crazy to me to think that she was able to call up some some guy from Mexico that's serving a life a life sentence that has already has a record of harming other prison inmates that you you feel like she just was able to call all him up and say go go go sab Tory Lane's.
Speaker 4Like, what, No, it's too much.
Speaker 1It's like and if it was Kelsey, we would have she would have dealt with that go a long time ago.
And not to mention that man had a case he had an opportunity to prevent, to present any defense he wanted to, including this one, finding any evidence he wanted to shaking anyone down.
If there was any case, he could have and it wasn't.
The girl Megan was never even going to tell on you.
You did this to yourself, and now that you were in there, you want us to feel bad for you, when I'm still not done feeling bad for that girl who got shot in the foot for no dumb ass reason.
Speaker 2But so why what?
Speaker 1I don't the jury of twelve already decided this.
You had your opportunity.
None of this is Megan's problem.
Speaker 2Yeah, so.
Speaker 3Even if the other if the girl did was the one that shooting, you didn't want to snitch on her.
Speaker 4You brought it to the forefront.
You didn't want to then exactly so, And I.
Speaker 2Don't know what to tell you.
Sounds like you got you got what you know where you are, I don't know one way or another.
Speaker 1You were in there fully deserved and of no other volition than of Tory Lanes.
This is your situation you got yourself into.
Listen, before we get out of here, Vanessa, I just wanted to let the girls know that there are new shows coming out to Bravo and Peacock.
That is important because you cover everything.
In fact, you your Basketball Wives coverage has me my season.
The new season is cued up and I did not think I was gonna watch.
But also they're fighting, the girls of fighting.
I love when Jennifer and Evelyn fight.
I don't know, I just do.
I've been loving it for like twelve years at this point, so I'm like, okay, so maybe y'all will go back and watch.
Speaker 2So new shows are coming?
Speaker 1Are there any that you're really excited about that you saw announce you know, the NBC Upfronts just happened, canceled and renewed shows just got announced.
Speaker 2And Netflix everybody, you know, they're all.
Speaker 1Talking lots of new things happening or what are some that caught your eye.
Speaker 3I'm definitely excited for the shots of Sunset reboot.
I was a watcher of that show to see so to see their spin off of kind of them moving to the violent All Three as the MJ Vanessa, of course, I'm excited about that.
Speaker 4I'm also interested for a.
Speaker 3Laugh in the Housewives swapping show as well.
Speaker 1I think it's gonna be hilarious, you know, especially some of the ones that we're already talked about, Like, yeah, I think that would be fun.
Speaker 2I really do.
I would love to see that, you know.
Speaker 1I think that's a great place to put some of the girlies that we haven't seen, you know, the front in a while, shuffle them around.
Some husbands that are funny, you know, the dynamic of the husbands that we like on the show without it being too overwhelming of their energy.
Speaker 3Yeah, and I'm also excited for the new Housewives franchise Rhode Island.
Speaker 2I cover it, I did.
I did a post where I.
Speaker 4Broke down each girl and what they're about.
Speaker 3Like some of y'all might be sad about if Ronnie's coming back or not, if Jersey's coming back or not.
I my gun tells me Rhode Island's gonna make us forget all about that.
Speaker 1They are just as trashy, they have more money and just as trashy.
Speaker 4I love it, and we love it bad asses on that show.
Speaker 3If allegedly the cast that I share, I broke down each girl that's allegedly going to be on there.
Speaker 4You have some that have like.
Speaker 3Some you know, some street pharmacists, husbands allegedly or ex husbands like they the girl and the girls have money, they had their bringing, They're gonna bring the opulence.
If this is the cast that I broke down for you guys.
Over the weekend, I did a post on each girl.
There's social media how you can find them their handles, so definitely check it out money if you have it, But.
Speaker 4Listen, I'm just waiting, honey.
Speaker 3So I'm excited for the new franchise they're giving, you know, ghetto thought like city and I'm here for.
Speaker 2Ye I'm really into it.
Speaker 1They're saying it gives early seasons of New Jersey, which is some of the best ones.
Like I say, seasons one through five of New Jersey is like unlike any kind of reality TV I've ever seen.
It's like soap opera worthy, like and and if that's what we're getting back to those good old roots of Italian and well, you know that's what money, then I'm excited.
Speaker 2Go off Rhode Island.
I'm here for it.
Speaker 3Let's do it heavy into the Italian families.
Yes, that was a very very small, small place, small communities.
Speaker 2Yeah, like.
Speaker 4Exactly, I can't I can't wait.
Speaker 2And I'm sent a fly p lace girl.
We in Rhode Island.
Speaker 4Okay, see y'all later.
Speaker 3And then just lastly, Ashanti and Nelly.
I know people have mixed fields about Nelly yeah.
You know, they have may about Nelly and him, you know, for me, oh yeah, but the president, people have mixed feeling.
But for me more so for a shanty, you know, I'm excited to watch and give it a chance.
On Peacock, They're coming to Peacock, so I'm interested in that.
Speaker 2So I might give her a chance.
Speaker 1I used to actually watch Nellie's reality show on BAT.
Speaker 2I watched it, and.
Speaker 1I like his family, so I might give it a try for that.
So let me tell y'all, I have been watching TV my whole life.
I have been in the gutters of the gutters.
If there is a reality show that was on that really clunky looking direct TV scroll like that blue chunks that would turn yellow as you scroll down and go boo heavy, I watched them all every.
Speaker 2Okay, I'm of it anymore.
Look where we gottas.
Okay, now we're doing it.
We're doing something with it.
Okay, creative energy exactly.
Speaker 1It's called inspiration.
That is a full circle moment.
Speaker 2When the TV is good, we must talk about it.
Speaker 1Yeah, Vanessa, I have had the best time talking about all of this with you.
Speaker 2Thank you so much for coming on.
Speaker 3Thank you for having me wait, I'm excited for the new shows like we mentioned and Kamora Lee she has a show too.
Speaker 4But yeah, its god because.
Speaker 1Let me tell you something, I will never forgive the Style Network for going out of business one and two for canceling Comora's Life and the Fabulus because I have watched Ioki and Mingly grow up since the very early days and I.
Speaker 2As well, so I would love a show with them again.
It's coming to eave me too, but yeah.
Speaker 1Take over, Okay, I'm ready for that.
