My name is Dalton Suitor and let me tell you right off the bat, last night I rolled credits on Chained Echoes and we're going to cover this on the next Steam Machine podcast, so I don't want to give them too much away, but y'all need to play that game.

100% shout out to the RPG Wolverine, Logan Jarid, because he's the one that did the Patreon tier for us to play a game that they choose and he chose Chained Echoes and boy, I can't wait to talk about that man, that game.

But anywho, now here is your JRBG news.

Bandai Namco has confirmed the release date for Digimon Story Time Stranger's first DLC pack, Alternate Dimension.

It will be available simultaneously worldwide, but with a different date based on time zone.

December 8th for the Americas and December 9th for Asia and Pacific region.

After being previously teased during the November State of Play, the company has confirmed that Omnimon and Omegamon alter S the results of Jorgres slash DNA Digivolution between Blitz, Graymon and Siska.

Rurimon will appear as the fifth and last Digimon that completes the DLC 1 roster.

The same pack will also add Omnimon Omega on Alter B and Omnimon Omegamon Zvort Defeat.

In addition, the new story episode in this DLC pack will feature Kodai Kuremi's daughter Kyoko, who had previously appeared in Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth.

I love Cyber Sleuth, that's a great game.

In addition, Band Dynamico has also published A preliminary road map for the Digimon Story Time Stranger Season Pass, which reveals 2 more similar DLC packs on the way.

The second pack will have a new episode starring and Nori's friend Hiroko Sagasaka, while the third and last one we'll have another one featuring Asuna Shiroki and Monica Simmons.

Keep your eyes peeled out for that.

And Bandai Namco has also released the Tales of Zelia Remastered Version 1.0 Point 3 update with mini fixes for progression issues, visual issues, and more.

The update also addresses issues where the volume levels begin are being changed, or let me try that again when the volume levels being changed in the sound menu did not actually change the levels.

This update will go live on the Nintendo Switch at a later date, but is now available on all other platform.

Tales of Zillion Remastered is now available for PS-5, Xbox Series X&S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.

And then I'll tell you what, shout out the Namco and Bandai Namco because they've been by there's a good chunk of this is coming from this this episode.

Ohh.

Bandai Namco has released the prologue trailer for the dramatic exploration action RPG Code Vein 2.

Code Vein 2 features a deep narrative where players and characters are bound by blood, fate, and destiny, set in a future where the last remnants of humanity and revenants struggle against the world on the verge of collab.

Following the sudden emergence of a threat known as the Luna Rapacis.

I'm going to say Rapacis, the Luna Rapacis.

The Revenants have succumbed to madness, transforming into terrifying creatures called Horrors.

The Revenant Hunter guided by a mysterious girl named Lou who possesses the power to travel into the past to rewrite of the the fate of the world.

The player as the Revenant Hunter will intervene in key moments of history to alter key Revenants destinies that reveal hidden truths and information to save the future.

Players will embark on a journey through a world that spans across two eras where decisions carry weight in every battle, test, skill, and resolve.

Code Vein 2 features distinctive gameplay for an action RPG where players use blood drained from enemies to unlock a variety of powerful skills, build strategy for combat with Blood Codes, and use unique weapons and equipment called Jails to overcome challenging foes and epic bosses.

Players can also forge bonds with powerful partner allies who fight alongside them and enhance their abilities, and each partner offers distinct skills and deep narrative connections that shape the journey.

Band Dynamico will reveal many more details about the rich universe and gameplay in Code Vein 2 in the future.

So if you want to check this trailer out, it is over on the Band Dynamico YouTube channel and Code Vein is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PCV Esteem January 30th, 2026.

So, Sega and RGG Studio have announced that it will be delisting the original Yakuza 0 the day Yakuza 0 Director's Cut launches for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X&S, and Steam.

This announcement arrives after we learned that there will be an upgrade path for the existing owners of Yakuza 0 in both Kawami game.

The delisting news confirms that the Yakuza Complete Series Digital bundle on consoles and PC will feature the Director's Cut version of Yakuza once the original is delisted.

The Windows 10 version versions of Yakuza 0, Kwami, and Kwami 2 will be delisted on December 8th as well.

It is worth noting that as of the writing of this article by RPG Site that there is no information for the GOG version of Yakuza 0.

And if I were to guess, GOG will probably end up having both on there because GOG really tries to preserve old versions of games when they can.

So yeah, just thought that was interesting.

Square Enix and Dark Horse Books are releasing The Legend of Mana The Art of Mana 30th Anniversary Edition art book July 2026.

This book features 80 pages and is a hardcover release priced at 2999.

It launches on July 28th, 2026 in bookstores, in July 29th, 2026 in comic shops with pre-orders live on Amazon and other stores.

Square Enix has launched its new Chrono Trigger arrangement titled Chrono Trigger Piano Soundscape Arrangement digitally with the physical release shipping next month for the West.

Alongside the album, which features 12 tracks from Chrono Trigger with a focus on characters theme songs, a new promotional video has been released.

The album is available on CD in Japan right now for ¥3300 plus tax, with the North American and Europe Store releases set to ship out next month.

While it is not yet rolled out worldwide, the digital iTunes Store and Amazon Music links are floating out there.

So yeah, if you want, if you're a big fan of Colonel Trigger, check that out.

So another one coming from Bandai Namco and this one intrigues me because I really, really like this game a lot.

Bandai Namco has announced yet another Tales of Remaster is on the horizon as it will release the JRPG Tales of Bursaria Remastered worldwide February 27th, 2026.

This comes around the 10th anniversary of the game, which first showed up on the PS3 and PS4 in Japan in 2016.

The new release will appear on the Switch, PS-5, Xbox Series X, and PC.

And if people preorder, they get a super adventuring assistance set with 10 apple gels, 10 Life bottles, 10 Panacea bottles, and 10 Peach gels.

It's funny, the job that I have now, 10 apple gels and 10 Peach gels, means something completely different to me.

Tales of Bursaria is a prequel to Tales of Zestria or Zisteria.

However you want to say it though Bandai Nemco released it after the other JRPG.

Velvet Crow is a Damon as a result of a Damon blight affecting her arm during an Advent ritual that left her brother killed during a Scarlet Knight.

While now imprisoned alongside other Damon, she vows to escape and get revenge on her former brother-in-law Arthurius and the Abbey for murdering Lafacette.

As the game begins, she gets her chance, which also means encountering A Malek who looks like her deceased little brother, joining up with others who oppose the Abbey, and learning the deeper secrets about what is going on.

Well, it's like it's going to feature some new additions and changes.

One of the additions is a destination icon to help pinpoint objectives.

A Grade shop will be open which will let you earn and implement boosts like Expand Item Capacity, Always Wandering for more dire foes, Double Experience, Double Gold, half price enhancing and half off Bargains and Double Art Learning speed.

Past DLCS like Extra costumes will be immediately accessible.

Tales of Presario Remastered will come to Switch PS-5, Xbox Series X, and PC on February 27th, 2026, and the original version is still available on the PS3, the PS4 and PC worldwide.

So Square Enix has released a 15 minute new Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined video with footage and screenshots as part of a first as part of the first hands on media preview that went live.

The footage showcases 2 areas of the game, Emberdale from earlier on in the story, and Wedlock from a bit further in.

The Emberdale footage follows the heroes as they arrive just in time for the flaming festival, although the town clairvoyant has predicted that the volcano central to the celebration will erupt on the same day.

The festivities push forward with the help of the heroes, who investigate the cause behind the clairvoyance prediction.

The wedlock footage opens with an elderly band arriving in town, playing an enchanting melody that lures townsfolk into a portal connected to Hydrating Tower, intending to protect them from a foretold flood.

And so the hero set out to discover the unknown source of the disaster.

This segment also highlights the new Moonlighting system, which allows character each character to moonlight as a second vocation alongside their main class, unlocking the potential for various skill combinations.

For example, your hero can be both a sailor and a thief, Mary Bell can be a priestess and a mage, or Rough can be both a martial artist and a warrior.

Like the original Dragon Quest 7 Fragments of the Forgotten Path, which required players to visit a specific location to change vocations, you can now switch at any time by simply pressing down on the D pad.

The footage also features a brief look at the game's new tab based menus, first for the Dragon Quest series.

When previous Dragon Quest games have featured more classic Windows based menus, Dragon Quest 7 Reimagine adopts a more modern interface for more comfortable navigation.

Dragon Quest 7 Reimagine is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series Switch to Switch, and PCBS Steam in Microsoft Store, February 5th, 2020.

Sixth, just a quick shout out to Dragon's Dogma 2 for selling 4 million copies worldwide as of November 5th, 2025.
