Hello everybody and welcome to another episode of the JRBG Report.

My name is Dalton Souter and with there being a Nintendo Direct today, I figured what better time than ever to get a get an episode in, especially when there was some good JRPG news announced over the last week plus in today's Direct.

So let's go ahead and jump right into it, shall we?

With Romancing Saga 2, Revenge of the Seven is now available for the Switch 2 as a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition alongside the version One Point 1.0 update for existing platforms, where Enix has announced users who own the Switch version will be able to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition by purchasing the Upgrade pack.

The patch notes for One Point 1.0 include original soundtrack version for the two Dread Queen Battle background music tracks have been added.

Some abilities have had their potencies or effects increased, some have had them decreased, such as Penny Pincher and United Ravager.

More options added for new Game Plus customization.

A formation icon has been added to the battle screen and auto equip function can now be separately applied between and other gear, plus many more.

So if you are interested in Romancing Saga to Revenge of the Seven, now is as good a time as I need to jump in.

And ahead of Final Fantasy Tactics The Evil E Chronicles launching, Square Enix has showcased it once more during the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase with a new trailer.

Sorry the sentence threw me off because of the way it's The new story trailer trailer.

The new story trailer trailer for the Final Fantasy Tactics The Evil E Chronicles goes over them adding voice acting, new gameplay and more ahead of the games launched this September for all platforms.

If you would like to see this trailer for yourself it is over on YouTube on I'm assuming Nintendo of America's page because it was from the Nintendo Direct.

In other news, Atlas will release Persona 3 Reload for the Switch to on October 23rd worldwide.

The developer has announced pre-orders begin today in Japan.

The game will be available both physically and digitally for ¥7678.

A Digital Deluxe Edition will be available for ¥10,406.00, which includes a digital art book and soundtrack app.

The Digital Premium Edition includes the Digital Deluxe Edition content as well as the downloadable content Persona 3 Reload DLC pack.

The downloadable content episode Aegis Pack will be available separately for ¥3850.

Persona 3 Reload first launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PCV esteem and Microsoft Store February 2nd, 2024 and it is also available on game pass.

So switch two players will be able to play persona 3 reload coming here soon.

So today Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter stories 3 twisted reflection for PlayStation 5, Xbox series, switch 2 and PCV esteem will launch in 2026.

This all new adventure is the latest installment in the popular RPG series where monster riders embark on thrilling journeys a across the vast world of Monster Hunter.

Monster Hunter stories 3 Twisted Reflection tells the story of two nations on the path to ruin amidst the growing crystal encroachment.

Facing the land of azuria and Vermeil, the discovery of a mysterious egg gives cause for hope.

From the shell hatches a monster long thought to be extinct, A ratholos.

However, this glimmer quickly gives way to despair as a second monster emerges from the egg.

The Twin Ratholos share the same mark as the Twin Sky Scale Ratholos importance of destruction that hearken back to a civil war waged 200 years ago.

As the environment deteriorates and monsters face extinction, the flames of war once again begin to stir.

That sounds pretty cool, not going to lie.

In this tale, the players take on the role to the air of Azuria blessed with special abilities, leading them to become the leader of the Rangers and sole wrathless rider in the Kingdom.

The protagonist passionately performs their duties, protecting monsters and investigating egg courts.

However, a life changing event soon drives them to investigate the strange phenomena threatening the world.

In their search for the truth they set out to forbidden land beyond the northern Meridian.

So keep our eyes peeled for that if you are into the Monster Hunter Stories series because that sounds pretty cool.

So Gravity and Joymaker have published the first full gameplay trailer for Ragnarok Online 3.

This will be a new full-fledged sequel to the big classic MMORPG that took the world by storm in the 2000.

Ragnarok Online 3 looks geared up to bring back the classic MMORPG gameplay whilst bringing back the series familiar jobs like Knight or excuse me Lord Knight, High Wizard and Assassin Cross.

It will also have features like 10 player dungeons and the PvP Guild League.

The companies have also opened registrations for a new round of Pioneer tests that let people get an early look at Ragnarok Online 3.

The test version will be available in East and Southeast Asia, or to be more specific, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.

And and Matt Macau I think is how you pronounce that.

Those who passed registration will receive a contact on Friday, August 8th.

I have a though you guys know Team Retro, my buddy Mikhailov who used to join me on here now and then.

He was a big fan of the original Ragnaroka Online so I'm sure he is either hyped or incredibly worried about this game coming out.

Action RBG Utah Waare Romano zan will launch for PC via Steam on October 23rd.

Publisher DMM Games and Shira Vune and developer Aqua Plus have announced it will support English language, Japanese and traditional Chinese Chinese language options.

Utaware Romano Zan first launched for PlayStation 4 on September 27th, 2018 in Japan, followed by September 10th, 2019 in North America and September 13th, 2019 in Europe.

The PC version will feature a number of PC specific optimizations and enhancements.

It follows the story of Mask of Deception, featuring a slimmed down exposition interspersed with button pounding battles.

When a man named Haku who wakes up in an unfamiliar world, he quickly finds himself surrounded by beautiful but strict caretaker and a motley crew of warriors, scholars, princesses, and heroic bandits.

Under the direction of the dashing rogue Yukon, they'll rescue damsels, stamp out conspiracies, stymie invasions, build bonds as they fight to defend the land of Yamato from every threat, even the ones that wear masks.

So Capcom has released the Complete Monster Hunter Wilds original soundtrack for streaming and digital purpose or purchase.

Excuse me.

Featuring over 7 hours of music across 7 discs, the 126 track soundtrack for Monster Hunter Wilds is officially released on July 30th and has begun rolling out worldwide.

It will.

It is currently available on the stream on Apple Music and Spotify, and you can buy it digitally on Steam as well.

Monster Hunter Wilds is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X&S and PC via Steam Publisher Anchor and developer Project LA have announced Destiny Code, a card battle RPG woven with Bishojo.

It will launch an early access for PCVS, Steam and Epic Game Store in 2025 with support language for English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.

The early access release will feature 7 playable characters, each with their own background and combat style, as well as the core turn based card driven interactive battle system gameplay.

The main story spans up to Chapter 2, including individual character events and sub events.

Future updates will introduce new encounters, new stories, and unseen fragments of the world.

It is expected to remain in Early Access for about one year.

A little overview of the game.

A card battle RBG woven with Bishojo and a classic, and a clash over relics of a lost civilization.

What choices will they make?

A dramatic chronicle where strategy and decisions shape fate.

A school life spent with cute and beautiful girls as an agent of the ancient Prehistoric Civilization Center Intelligence X Executive Agency.

My goodness Mouthful Heart.

Grantzer is a former boy mercenary who has infiltrated the Academy, AKA the teaching institution of the subordinate organization.

He is assigned to teach a group of girls who have some mysterious reason to be there, as well as take on assignments from the administration.

Then one day, a new mission comes along, the discovery and recovery of the Grim forge.

But that was also the beginning of a huge conspiracy.

That's, that sounds pretty cool.

I'll be keeping my eye on that.

I do like a good RPG card battle or those seem to be very fun.

And it looks like, Yep, that there's a trailer for it and everything.

Nintendo of America an hour ago posted a trailer says start from zero with #octopath Traveler 0, the newest injury in the acclaimed HD2D RPG Octopath Traveler series coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, December 4th.

Whoa.

Well, all right, I hope to have more information on that coming up soon.

I did check, I did just check the trailer out.

Hopefully I cut that door.

You couldn't tell.

And it looks like you get to create your character and there's some town building aspects in it as well.

Color me excited, man.

I really enjoyed Octopath one and two.

In fact, if you'd like to hear more about Octopath Traveler 2, we did do an episode on it.

It's kind of a shallow episode because we didn't want to spoil a lot of the stuff story wise in the game because it's quite, quite good.

But over on Steam Machine Podcast, we did cover Octopath Traveler 2.

So yeah, Octopath Traveler 0 coming December 4th and it seems that Square Enix has also released a free update for Dragon Quest 3 HD 2D Remake with improvements for when playing on a Nintendo Switch 2.

While the Western Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase did not feature Dragon Quest 1 and 2 HD 2D Remake, a trailer was shown alongside confirmation for an upgrade during the Japanese Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase.

The update is available now for all who own Dragon Quest 3 HD 2D Remake on the Nintendo Switch.

The update includes graphical improvements to make the game appear sharper and smoother, and also an option to prioritize frame rate or graphics.

That's pretty cool.

Band Dynamco has released a new special moves trailer for Digimon Story Time Stranger.

The short one minute long Digimon Story Time Stranger Special Moves Volume 2 trailer has mini clips from different special moves that you can expect to see in the game.

If you missed it, we recently had a chance.

Oh, excuse me, No, that's just their rpgsite.net plug to them plugging an interview that they did with Real Suitcase.

So if you do want to hear that, go check that out.

But this comes out October 3rd.

I'm going to go ahead and be honest with you guys that have been avoiding trailers for this game because I really look forward to playing it.

I really call call me what you will.

I really enjoy Digimon always have I really like Digimon a lot all right, wow Neptunia game maker our evolution launched on consoles last year.

There had been no indication about the game releasing on PC until July 29th 2005.

After over a year of console exclusivity.

The title will be launching on PC via steam on August 26th.

The game system requirements have also been revealed, the so with the recommended CPU being over 13 years old and the recommended GPU requiring 2 gigabytes of VRAM, I don't think you have to worry about this not running on your PA.

Little overview for those of you who don't know what this game is though.

In a world of powerful rival game makers within the game maker world, in order to acquire shares, game makers have started to wage a battle for supremacy.

And so a new game maker steps into the fray, attempting to endure the battle for survival in game industry.

Plays the main pro tag older NEP and grow a previously defunct gaming studio to success.

But there may be other game studios ready to take you down.

With a revamped battle system, chained attacks, and transformative specials, older NEP and friends are ready for victory.

So this is freaking hilarious to me.

So a previously defunct gaming studios.

So if you know anything about the Neptunia series, all four of the girls represent consoles.

Vert the green heart is Xbox, blonde white heart is Nintendo Wii at the time, and Noir black heart is PlayStation.

Well, Neptune was always Sega and then Sega will kind of stop making consoles.

So this is freaking hilarious.

I, I'm going to, I can't wait to play this.

This is going to be awesome.

Up next, NIS America has announced that Disgais 7 complete the definitive version of Disgais 7.

Vows of the Virtual List will launch October 10th for the Nintendo Switch 2 in the West.

NIS America also has announced that the game's first playable demo on Nintendo Switch 2 will be debuting at PAX W.

If you're not kept up with it, Disguise 7 complete launch for PS5PS4 and Switch in Japan last July, but the western launch will only be Nintendo Switch 2 this fall.

The physical release has been confirmed to be a game key card release.

Kind of a bummer.

As of writing, there is no new news for a potential update or DLC for the existing version of the game.

So October 10th over here in the West.

Get your hands on Disguise 7 if you have an instant Switch 2.

There's more and more coming out for that system that makes me think I'll end up getting it at some point, but not now, not now.

I can't afford it.

So ES10 Nordics clear save data can be transferred to E 10 Proud Nordics on Nintendo Switch 2, as revealed in an early review from a Japanese outlet Dengeki.

The The review, which contains some spoilers, confirms that the clear data from the Switch version of E 10 Nordics can be brought over to E 10 Proud Nordics.

The review also covers that Proud Nordics will also include 29 DLC from the original game, not including the consumable items, and once again confirms that this is significantly upgraded version of ES10 Nordics for the Nintendo Switch 2 will offer a prioritized performance mode with up to 120 frames per second gameplay in addition to its default 60 frames per second rate as originally I think released ES10 Nordics is now available in the West for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch in PC via Steam and ES10.

Proud Nordics launches July 31st for Nintendo Switch 22IN Japan and on August 21st for Nintendo Switch 2 and Steam in Asia through Clouded Leopard Entertainment.

So hopefully that'll come over here eventually.

So Hong Kong based developer Ignacorva Studios has announced Spark Ignites, a 2.5 pixel art fantasy RPG in development for PC via Steam.

And finally, today, Square Enix has announced a new version of the Near Automata, or to Automata, however you want to say it.

And the Near Gestalt and Replicant Original Soundtrack vinyl set titled The Reconstructed Edition featuring selected songs from the original vinyl released on 2LP's.

The original vinyl release had 35 songs across 4 black LP's and was priced at ¥7920.

And this new set features 18 songs across 2 clear LP's and is priced at ¥9350.

So less songs for more money.

All right then.

It releases October 22nd in Japan and pre-orders go up soon in North America, though they do not give a date win for some reason, and I was wrong.

There is one more and it's another soundtrack.

Ahead of Final Fantasy Tactics The Evil E Chronicles launching, Square Enix has announced a new final release titled Final Fantasy Tactics Best Selection Vinyl Soundtrack and pre-orders are live now.

Final Fantasy Tactics Best Selection Vinyl Soundtrack features 15 tracks from the original soundtrack, with a code to download all 71 from the Final Fantasy Tactics soundtrack in addition to 31 previously unreleased songs in MP3 format.

An English release announcement has yet to be made, but the English product page lists CD Japan as a retailer with pre-orders now live from Square Enix.

So if you are into that, check that out as well.
