Zebulon Perkins was found in a motel with the car of his former teacher, Vivian James, in late December 2019. James, a beloved high school teacher in Jacksonville, Florida, had been murdered. Perkins gave detectives a story about buying the car from a man. But the story didn't hold up and led to Perkins being implicated in another woman's murder on Christmas Day.
