This conversation will explore the realities and challenges behind why it seems like police officers are not held accountable for misconduct and what we can do to change that. Coverage will include the roles different stakeholders play in keeping cops accountable (the police chief, police unions, the District Attorney, elected officials, etc.), body cameras as an accountability tool, why transparency is an issue within policing, and the topic of a national registry for police misconduct.
