I mean, it's not like he was like jealous or anything like that.

I just sensed like maybe he wasn't really that into me at that time.

And I kind of backed off a little bit.

I think I think what Jeff's saying is like he just took a little like hit to the ego as soon as he went to meet you, and then it was hard for him to kind of get back that confidence he lost.
