My question those centers are preseason hockey and fights.

First of all, I didn't like the elbow to cal McCart and I do think there had to be an answer for that.

I actually agree with that, and I have no problems with the fights, and I have no problems with gay fighting.

Here's My problem this is all happening in preseason and in a relatively meaningless afternoon of hockey where the Utah playing because they were traveling that day was late and the game got pushed back early in the afternoon and impacted just the whole flow of everything yesterday.

So my beef isn't with gay fighting or fighting or anything like that.

My beef is what are we doing here in preseason that any of this is happening.

So my my real feeling, I guess it is just get rid of all right?

My question is should they get rid of preseason games in basketball the NHL?

What's the point?

You gotta play a little bit?

Did you not just say just literally.

Right?

I always say you can't give it ain't better unless you play good brand to play play in the preseason.

They gotta play.

You can scrimmage against yourself and you can get in shape and just play hockey.

You gotta play games, maloney, do you think any of these people should do or get better?

Not just football?

Because in football you literally don't play, and hockey not only does everybody play that's on the team, but they've got a minor league system.

So if you're not on the team, you're in grand so what you're at least playing not a grand Rabbit right now.

No, No, My point is there's always a place to play in hockey and basketball, not in football.

Listen, preseason is a blink of an eye.

It's literally a blink of an eye.

I don't think that they're gonna die for playing a little bit of preseason.

I don't they need to play ten games or eight games.

No, do they need to play, Yes, especially game Landskog.

I think Gave wants to get out there.

And one of the things that's been missing.

Here's my biggest takeaway on the biggest thing that was missing from this team and Dan listened from the AVS team last year, was we're gonna take shots in my car and there ain't no retribution.

Lando Scott Landis Scott was doing that when he was healthy.

So I don't care if it's preseason.

No, there don't need to be ten games, but they need to play and basketball.

I'm telling you, I've been a thousand I've been in a thousand practices.

It's never the same.

Everybody in practice knows what you're gonna do.

You go at the speed to get by, and then the games happen.

And you know what you do when you don't play in preseason, You start the season eleven and ten and then then you lose.

All right, that's what I say.

Hey, Oh, the Nuggets had preseason games last year and still started eleven and ten.

If that's where you're.

They also went to Dubai or wherever they went.

I forget where they were.

Where did they go?

Yeah, yeah, they went on a vacation and erupted everything.

That's some sort of dude that who knows if will ever really play in the NHL is on the eyes with cal mccarr throwing elbows at his face because the only situation that would happen is a preseason game.

I mean, I I agree, gave somebody had to fight the dude, No doubt you can't do that.

The guy threw a cheap shot of kill, and so you know, game took care of business.

Hockey guys are good to hockey guy.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with it either.

I just have a problem with being in preseason is all.

The rest of it's, you know whatever, it's hockey.

I want you know what.

Someone told me a long time ago about coaching.

Better to start hard and get softer than to start soft.

And try to get hard.

And I think that's I think that's with playing pro sports.

Better to come out big, strong, physical, nasty, hard, then to come out and be missed it for that.

I still have a bad face in my mouth with how things ended in Denver, and I'd love to go out of my own terms.

With that being said, what I've learned over my many years in this league is how important it is to go to work every day with people you care about, you trust, your respect, and that are all pulling in the same direction.

So when I have a chance to go back into the NBA, I just want to make sure I'm working with a group of people that are like minded and here a common vision and are willing to do whatever it takes to make that vision become a reality.

And if that situation pops up, I would love to get back on that sideline.

I'm a competitor, I'm a teacher, and I am a coach first and foremost TV star second.

So that felt awfully generalized, Like like it felt, it felt really big a group of people that were going to be on the same page.

But I mean, was he really not just talking about one guy?

Was he really not just talking about Calvin?

He was talking about Calvin and his minions?

Okay, well, hey, the guy got fired.

He's gonna have some beefs, no doubt about it.

Yes, he had a toxic situation.

It was I mean whether it was on Blow's fall or whether it was Calvin's fault, I don't know.

I mean probably on both of them, right, But that was not a He's actually not wrong.

Could Calvin say the same exact thing, same things if they oh.

They weren't going in the same direction.

Don't you think it matters who was there first?

Like I think it does.

I think the fact that Calvin got their second means you were more or less.

I'm not saying you worked for Michael Malone, but you were there to support Michael Malone.

Now, if the GM hires the coach, maybe it's a little bit different.

But I think the way it was here, Calvin should have been there to support Michael Malone's vision.

That's the way I well, I think that's what he thought.

And but there's different ways to do it.

You do it through communication and talk and conversation, you know, professional disagreement if you can, but it's got to stay in that way and obviously a toxic and these guys are in human conversation.

That wasn't a professional disagreements.
