Go with momentum.

Sometimes you're faced between two different options or two different choices and maybe you're trying to make an opportunity work or you're trying to pursue a new path or you're trying to see what would be the right choice for you.

And sometimes, the paths they're conflicting but you think both can work, you're not really sure which one.

So you have to kind of try both.

But as soon as you get momentum in one, And sometimes the momentum takes a while to build and that can be the frustrating part and sometimes you have to be waiting for a while.

But for me, I just recently had an opportunity.

I was trying to pursue a specific opportunity for my business and I tried three different paths.

The first path, instant momentum.

It just worked.

And then things kind of died down for a while.

And I said, you know, I want to expand.

I want to get other opportunities outside this area.

So I started to pursue a second area, but as much as I would talk to people about my ideas, I had calls, I had emails.

I sent wonderful proposals, got a lot of good feedback, but then it never went anywhere.

There was ero momentum.

Or I got shut down and I was told no we're not going to go in this direction, but thank you so much And everybody saw the value in what I was proposing But nobody in that second group wanted to take it further and then I got an opportunity To go a third route So I was still working on the second route, but an opportunity kind of naturally presented itself for the third route I didn't actually go looking for it.

It kind of came to me You And since I've opened my mind and my eyes to the possibilities of that third area being a potential, momentum has started building in that area too.

So what does this mean?

I'm now going to let go of that second area altogether because even though I would love to expand my business in that area.

there's not a fit.

Maybe it's not a fit ever.

Maybe there's not a fit right now.

Maybe I haven't met the right people, but for now there's no momentum.

So instead of me continuing to waste effort and energy on something that has yet to produce fruit, let me go with area one and area three that are currently producing fruit and are building momentum.

And so if you're in a stage of life where, you know, you're just feeling like you're stuck and you're not really making a breakthrough.

Try to go back and identify, well, what area were people showing interest?

Or where was I making a little bit of progress?

And see what can be done on your end to increase and boost that momentum.

And sometimes I'll say too, sometimes you can't do anything.

Sometimes you just have to sit and give it some time.

But you might be doing things in the background.

You might be making connections with people.

You might be improving things.

And then over time, the momentum just comes out of nowhere.

I think I am wildly shocked at the leaps and bounds my business has made in the last two months after work I've put in for the last two years that was always building but now it just skyrocketed and I'm like oh my goodness can I keep up and that's an exciting problem to have in an exciting area to be in especially if you felt stuck like if you if anybody's listening and they felt stuck and they weren't going the right way.

I know what that feels like.

So, that's my That's my tip for today is just go with momentum honestly This supports your mental health and well being so much because when you keep meeting barrier after barrier and block after block Sometimes it ruins your creativity and it's hard to keep pursuing new opportunities But when you find momentum, you naturally get excited.

You get excited when someone books with you or someone wants to work with you or someone wants to partner with you.

And that excitement leads to collaborative opportunities.

It leads to more creativity.

It hopefully leads to more money, more connections.

So everything can really grow and expand from there.

Until next time, continue to serve yourself, your loved ones, and your communities from a full cup.
