Episode Transcript
I am so polite and friendly.
I'm not volatile.
Speaker 2You're so polite and so friendly.
Girl, You're on camera punching someone because you didn't like what they were saying to you.
It's open season on conservative influencers, at least in New York City.
We're going to break down a really horrifying, horrifying attack on an influencer that's apparently going to go unpunished, and so much more on today's episode of The Barad Versus Everyone podcast, my daily show where we take on the craziest ideas across the Internet, our media, and our politics off from an independent perspective.
Up first, we are going to check in with fair warning, guys, a really disturbing story.
You have this woman, Savannah Craven, who is a pro life influencer.
I believe she works with the pro life activist group Live Action.
Anyway, she exercises her First Amendment rights and she goes around in public speaking to people and challenging them on pro choice views and doing these men on the street interviews where she's pushing a perspective and then uploading their clips to social media.
Well, she had a horrifying encounter with another young woman, a black woman in New York City not too long ago, where this woman unprovoked assaulted her, punched her, and left her bloodied because of the argument they were having about abortion.
It was all caught on camera.
I can't show you the actual video itself or YouTube will demonetize this whole episode, but it was all caught on camera.
Yet Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, is going to let this person off the hook for violently assaulting a young woman who was espousing her ideas.
We're going to break it down.
Here is the latest video from Savannah updating herding her fans and followers on her situation.
Speaker 1On April third, twenty twenty five, I, Savannah Craven and Tau was brutally assaulted in the streets of Harlem while conducting interviews on planned parenthood.
The entire shocking interaction was caught on camera by my husband, leaving no doubt that the assailant, Breonna J.
Rivers, was not only guilty of aggravated assaults, but also exulting over her own vicious criminal act.
Speaker 2Just to by the way, guys, to confirm this, I've watched the whole video myself.
It is horrifying and it is absolutely unambiguous what happens in this footage.
Speaker 1Rivers was arrested and reportedly charged with felony assaults, but after an interview with two prosecutors, I was informed that the felony had been downgraded to a misdemeanor, despite indisputable video evidence of brutal assault and battery, producing significant injury trauma and resulting in over three thousand dollars in medical bills.
Speaker 2Yeah, guys, I'll probably have to blur some of the photo here, but it is insane that they downgraded this to a misdemeanor.
Violent assault of this kind in response to anything, really, but political expression is by no sane person or no sane legal systems definition a misdemeanor.
Speaker 1Over the next few weeks, the office of the New York District Attorney Alvin brad, infamous for its two tiered system of justice that favors criminals over victims, failed to pursue the case.
On July twenty third, twenty twenty five, I find out the prosecution simply allowed this misdemeanor to be dismissed on speedy trial grounds.
Apparently due to the prosecution's failure to file a certificate of readiness.
I was never advised by the prosecution that my case had essentially been abandoned.
Speaker 2This is horrible by the way that she found out from the vile wanna be influencer who assaulted her Instagram stories that her attempt at getting justice through the legal system had been abandoned and thrown away by either incompetence or malice.
She found that out through the villain's Instagram stories, not through the prosecutor's office contacting her and telling her that's diabolical.
Speaker 1Didn't.
As a matter of fact, the prosecutor assigned to handle my case isn't even admitted to the New York Bar, just an inexperienced law school graduate.
Yet he was able to handle my case under a student practice rule which is supposed to apply to only very minor offenses.
Prior to the dismissal, the prosecutors failed to communicate with me and with my lawyers.
Speaker 2And again, guys, that's the problem.
This left wing DA very clearly treated this as a petty minor offense.
It is not.
It is an egregious attack on free speech, an abuse of a young woman who did nothing wrong, certainly nothing illegal.
Whether you agree with her opinions or not, and it should absolutely have been treated with the utmost sincerity and seriousness.
Instead, New York City I had to send a message that it's okay to assault conservative young women if you don't like what they have to say.
Wow, just despicable stuff.
And there's so much more, including a really vile video that the will I'll just call her a criminal.
The thug that punched Savannah put out apologizing but also not apologizing at all.
We're going to get into all of it, Okay, so let's keep going here and take another look at the rest of Savannah's video.
Speaker 1There's and the failure to communicate continued after my lawyers intervene on my behalf to try and find out how this case could be dismissed.
To this day, my lawyers and I have received zero reply despite multiple text messages, emails, and phone calls.
It is inconceivable that a violent assault case such as this one that received wide spread media attention, including that shocking video, would be put into the hands of somebody not even admitted the New York bar who then allowed for the case to be dismissed.
It is hard to avoid the conclusion that this case was deliberately sabotaged.
To this day, my assailant, Breonna J.
Rivers continues to show zero remorse and make jokes about her act of violence toward me and other pro lifers.
Speaker 2Well, we'll get into this.
The assailant sort of expresses remorse, but then in my view, kind of cancels it out with the other things that she said.
And I am not a tinfoil hat person, and I'm always you know, never ever do I find it hard to believe that the government is incompetent.
Yeah, that seems to me to be the default state of government bureaucracies.
But it's suspicious, to say the least, that this case was so badly bungled that it was downgraded and assigned to some you know, like a student advocate whatever.
All none of that should have happened in the first place.
Now, whether there was really some conspiracy to to make sure this woman got off the hook, or whether it was just a series of bad decisions and mixed with incompetence, I don't know.
Either way.
I find it absolutely disgraceful.
And Alvin Bragg, I mean, this man should have been chased out of office a long time ago, for the lax on crime policies that he's instituted and approached to prosecutions that I think make New Yorkers less safe.
But this should be a career ending mistake for a prosecutor.
It won't be, I imagine, but it should be in a sane world at least.
Speaker 1I do not want clicks, fame, or sympathy for what happened to me.
I want justice for the countless pro life and conservative activists that go out and peacefully stand up for what they believe in.
And justice for the thousands of preborn children who will be aboarded today, tomorrow, and the next.
No one on either side of the aisle should experience physical violence for using their first Amendment right.
Shame on you out wow.
Speaker 2I mean, I completely agree with her on the political violence.
It shouldn't matter whether your pro choice or pro life.
This is not what we do, and this is an attack on basic American values and free speech, and in any sane local government it would be punished, but that's just not where we're at, I guess in New York City.
Now, what's so indicative to me is that this wanna be influencer woman, this Brianna woman.
She is a real piece of work, Brianna Rivers.
So she's kind of I wanna be TikTok influencer.
She's got all the socials, she's got the gibsen go in bio of course.
But everywhere I go I see on her page, I see people in the comment egging her on or saying she did the right thing, which is so insane to me.
But I do want to react to her apology video that she put out before the case was dropped, but after the incident went down where to me, I don't qualify it really as an apology video, even though she says she is sorry, because what comes next is so disgraceful.
But I'll let you judge with your own eyes and ears.
Speaker 3Let's look I do again.
I want to sincerely apologize to Savannah for this, you know, persic series of events.
I do honestly feel terrible about it and I am so so sorry to you.
Speaker 2Okay, I'll pause there because we're about to get to the bad part.
But like so, she admitted it on camera and they still couldn't prosecute her.
This is so suspicious and then your video should have stopped there.
The next seven minutes of this video weren't necessary.
I trimmed it down for the clip to show y'all.
But if you're really sorry, just unambiguous, no context, No you really don't need to keep going, just apologize.
But not capable of that.
Speaker 3As you'll see, Savannah continuously interrupted my thoughts and she raged baited me.
Speaker 2Oh my god, she rage baited me, or like, I don't know, thirty seconds or a minute out because I cut some of it out of you apologizing and now you're victim blaming.
Well, yeah, I punched her in the face like a thug, but she rage baited me.
No, babe, it is your job, as an allegedly fully grown adult, to be able to emotionally regulate yourself and somebody saying something in a way you don't like, or interrupting you, or even being rude, if we're even assumed that's true.
I'm not even saying Savannah was rude.
Assume she was doesn't give you the right to punch someone.
Doesn't mean she rage baited me.
You sound ridiculous, And the fact that you're making excuses or trying to blame Savannah for her own brutal, bloody assault is despicable to me, just despicable by.
Speaker 3Attempting to dictate what I was saying.
There's even a point in the interview where I throw the peace on as a silent goodbye.
Well, I throw the peace on as a silent goodbye, and Savah like the temptress of trouble.
She is continue to flip my words on this very slippery subject.
Speaker 2Oh my gosh, you are now blaming the victim and saying she's a temptress of what.
Speaker 1Was that of trouble?
Speaker 2She is a temptress of trouble because she asked you questions and discuss her political opinions with you.
Now you're just unhinged.
You just need to be behind bars because you're a menace, a danger to society if you're gonna just punch people.
And here's the thing, I put up the peace sign to start walking away and leave.
No one stopped you, ma'am.
You could have left at any time.
That's the thing.
You have no obligation to engage with Savannah, to give her content, to let her dunk on you, to speak with her, anything.
Just keep it moving, Just be an adult and walk away.
Don't assault someone.
Oh my god.
And then rage, Oh she rage badeed me.
She's a temptress of whatever.
Oh my gosh, what a piece of work we got here.
Speaker 3Continue to flip my words on this very slippery subject.
The light that Savannah is shining me in.
Speaker 1Is so false.
I am so polite and friendly.
I'm not volatile.
Speaker 2You're so polite and so friendly.
Girl, You're on camera punching someone because you didn't like what they were saying to you.
I'm not volatile at all.
Just say the wrong thing and I might slug you.
Speaker 3It really takes a lot, you know, for anything like this to to come out of me.
Yeah, so she professionally raped to me.
Then, yeah, this video as of now has altered my life drastically.
The Internet is literally making me a political mortar.
Speaker 2She's clearly not the brightest bulb.
She meant political martyr, but also, you're not a martyr.
That's not what words mean.
You're a villain.
Maybe because you actually did a bad thing and now people are acting like you did a bad thing, but that you weren't made a martyr.
That implies a whole host of things that are not at play here.
But clearly words are not her strong suit.
She just punches people rather than speak with them when.
Speaker 3I simply believe that women should have the choice if they want to become a mother or I.
Speaker 2Okay, that's not the point.
You're allowed to believe that nobody's mad at you for believing that they're mad at you for punching someone.
Speaker 1Mother or not.
Speaker 3People are calling me a leftist and a delusional democrat.
Speaker 2Okay, where's the lie, A zero lies detected rat.
Speaker 3I am being cyberbullied and by shamed by not only Savannah but her thousands of supporters.
Speaker 2Okay, I'm not going to get out the tiny violin for you being body shamed because I'm sorry, did you want people to send you flowers after you punched a young woman in the face and bloodily left her bloody in the street.
Oh no, won't somebody think of your feelings?
Breonna Rivers get out of here.
Speaker 3Of supporters, these people have shared my personal information, also my family's information.
I've had strangers go to my previous residence in regard to this incident.
Speaker 2Yeah, don't do that.
I mean, I want to say, well, let the system play out, but obviously the system's not going to do anything here.
Harassing her family going to her home, doxing her.
None of that is going to help anything.
It's only gonna make things worse and let her play the victims.
So please, nobody engaged in that.
Speaker 3At this point.
I'm fearful for my life.
I'm fearful for my wellbeing and the well being of my family.
Savannah has used this clip as an opportunity.
Speaker 2Okay, I don't want her physical safety to be endangered, and certainly not that of her family.
I mean, to the extent that's true, that is despicable.
But again, it's like, I'm not going to say deserve death threats.
I don't think anyone should be getting death threats, but it's like, if you're gonna behave in such a vile way when you know you're on camera in the age of the internet, I don't know what else you expected.
That's the same.
I'm not saying it's right, but I'm saying it is predictable.
Speaker 3Clip as an opportunity to finally have her social platforms go viral and monetize off of my off of my back.
Speaker 2Basically good you yeah that People are like, oh, well, she's using it to go viral or to make money, or to fundraise for her cause, as she should.
Why not make the bright side of something terrible happening to you?
Why not?
It's her life, it's her experiences.
If she wants to monetize it, if she wants to go viral, she wants to do media good, she should.
She was victimized, and yeah, there's nothing, I literally see nothing wrong with her monetizing that or promoting herself off of it.
Why wouldn't you why not find some silver lining in the brutal, brutal atrocity you subjected her to.
Yeah, I think that's I would do the absolute same thing, unapologetically.
Speaker 1Basically in in.
Speaker 3Oh, I'm again, I'm like, I can't even get my thoughts together.
She currently has several funding accounts, she has gained a large audience, and this is all over a provoked attack.
Speaker 2Oh my god, a provoked attack.
Speaker 3One.
Speaker 2I love how she's on camera admitting she attacked someone and we still can't get a charge to stick.
Apparently Alvin Bragg and then two to call it a provoked attack is ridiculous and untrue words.
Somebody saying opinions to you in a political debate does not provoke violence.
You chose to assault someone and you belong behind bars.
But she's not.
She's just Accountability is just increasingly absent from our society because people like this can do their big one absolutely like monsters, and then not face consequences.
And apparently that's the message that New York or Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg wants to send, that it is open season, at least in his burrow on pro life influencers, on young women who say certain things that upset people.
It's apparently okay to assault them, or at least there's no guarantee of justice if you do such a thing so blatantly on camera.
That is diabolical, That is a criminal failure in and of itself of the system.
Speaker 3I hope the people who can see through her malicious ways stand with me in solidarity.
Speaker 2Girl, No one's standing with you anything.
You look like you would struggle to stand up yourself, okay, though apparently you pack quite a punch.
I guess you have a lot to throw behind it.
Yes, that is me body shaming you, by the way, because I think you're a terrible person, So I will go there.
Yeah, if you're sorry.
Normally I wouldn't.
But the other thing is stand in solidarity with me against her.
No, nobody's stand I mean, that's the crazy thing.
Some people actually are standing with her.
That's the craziest part about this.
Speaker 3Actually, as I try to clear my reputation, I thank you all seriously from the bottom, bottom bottom of my heart.
Speaker 2Will have to clear your reputation.
You're acting like you've been light about clear the reputation that you got from people saying you did the thing you're on camera doing and admit to doing that.
That's not what those words mean.
But words are clearly not.
This person's strong and.
Speaker 3Soon awarding me everyone who has donated to my goalfundme, everyone who has sent me positive messages.
Because the Internet is such a.
Speaker 2Dark please yeah, apparently the streets of New York City are too.
And the fact that she attacks Savanna for having a gofund me but also herself has a gifts and go okay, like one of them was a victim, one of them was a perpetrator.
I have no issue with the victim having a gofund me, but you're going to attack her for that while you have one for yourself as the perpetrator.
What weird.
Speaker 3I appreciate appreciate and love, love, love all of you guys so much.
And I hope that the people who are in support of Savannah go and look at her previous interviews and just kind of check the common denominator here.
Speaker 1Because it's not me.
Speaker 2It literally doesn't matter.
I'm certainly not saying this is true.
I haven't seen that much of Savannah's content, but let's say she was the most obnoxious bad faith interviewer or debater ever, it literally doesn't matter.
You're still a criminal and a thug who belongs behind bars, and you had no right to put hands on her.
Seriously, her speech is her speech, and she has at bare minimum the right in our society to not be brutalized for using her words.
And the fact that you would try to victim blame her and this fake apology is diabolical and frankly, I think this person should face social stigma for the rest of her life for this.
And frankly, maybe there's even some sort of federal charge that could be brought against her.
I don't know, because I really think she needs to be she needs to face accountability for this.
We have to send the message that political violence is not okay.
And at bare minimum, I hope Savannah sues the pants off this woman in civil court.
I'm not sure she has a penny to be sued for, but hey, at least there'd be some sort of finding of responsibility for this woman's reprehensible actions.
Well, what do you guys think?
Are you even surprised that New York City would let someone get away with such despicable behavior or that they would all go about it like this?
I'm horrified, but if I'm being honest, I can't really say I'm particularly surprised.
Let me know what you think in the comments.
Make sure subscribe YadA ya da yah.
And by the way, guys, be sure to send in your voicemails for my Voicemail Friday episodes, where react to your world cover stories, give you advice on your personal lives, and answer any questions you guys have for me.
As always, the link to send in one of those is in the description.
Up next, guys, we got to talk about a pretty dising saga where a I mean like a violent criminal and radical is being just glowing la memorialized, memorialized by mainstream, prestigious publications, by prominent democratic officials.
A woman named Asada Shakur passed away this past weekend, and these glowing tributes went out to her.
And at first I didn't know who she was, so it didn't, of course bother me.
But the more that I have learned, the more diabolical these posts seem in hindsight.
So here is rolling Stone quote.
I advocate an end to capitalist exploitation, the abolition of racist policies, the eradication of sexism, and the elimination of political repression.
If that is a crime, then I am totally guilty.
And then their article is remembering Asada Shakur.
Now you're waiting for the other shooters job, right, Like, what else?
Is this woman just some liberationists, some wonderful activist the community no pointed out here, right, that's Twitter's fact checking system.
Shakur, a member of the BLA, was convicted of first degree murder, arm robbery, and aggravated assault for the killing of a New Jersey cop.
BLA associates helped break her out of prison and escape to Cuba.
Under Obama, the FBI added her to its most wanted terrorists list.
Yeah, so many, many, many liberal media outlets glowingly profiled this woman some of them mentioned in paragraphs seventeen in the fact that she, you know, murdered a cop, was broken out of jail by terrorists, and then fled to Cuba to live out her days, and was labeled by the Obama FBI not even like oh, some ultra republican administration, as a wanted terrorists.
Yeah, but of course because she was a revolutionary guy she hated capitally, that makes her slay queen boots down, Mama, Like, this is literally the level at which some of this extreme left wing thought operates, and it's actually kind of scary.
But it wasn't just publications.
The Democratic Socialists of America and prominent Democratic as in Democratic Party officials all again sung this woman's praises.
This is reporting here from the Washington Free Beacon.
Mom Donnie's political party morn's convicted cop killer Asada Shakur, a Trio Hobs House Democrats also paid homaged Shakur, who was on the FBI's most wanted terrorist list, So run Mam Donnie's political party, the Democratic Socialists of America DSA, mourned a Sada Shakur, one of the FBI's former most wanted terrorists who was convicted of murdering a New Jersey State trooper before fleeing to Cuba.
Apparently that's no big deal for them, because in a social media post Saturday, the DSA said, quote, the American state brutally oppressed Shakur and her fellow Black Panther Party members rest in Asada, Shakur wrote, the socialist group whose best known members are Mamdanni and AOC, the DSA has taken credit for powering Mam Donnie's victory in the New York City mayoral Democratic primary.
Congresswoman representatives rather Summer Lee, Ayanna Presley, and Yavette Clark, the chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, joined in on the outpouring of leftist support for Shakur.
Lee quoted a poem written by Shakur, we have nothing to lose but our chains with a black power fist emoji.
Clark wrote, if there is a single truth in this world, it is that Asada died a free woman.
Presley echoed the same remarks during a speech at a CBC event on Friday, rest in Peace and Power.
Presley said, I'm sorry, but this is psychotic.
If your idea of black power means supporting people who murdered police, supporting wanted terrorists, then you might be the problem.
You might be dan jeriously radical and unhinged.
But I guess I can't say I'm surprised from the Ayana Presleys of the world.
But it's not just politicians or media outlets.
Major organizations also mourned this woman and left out, of course, her atrocious crimes.
The Chicago Teachers Union and Janey Nelson, the president of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, also paid homage to Shakur.
Nelson reference Shakur as a freedom fighter and an example of undaunted resistance.
I guess that's one way to describe murdering police officers.
But okay, And then this article goes on to make a good point, which is that this stands in something of a stark contrast to how many of these same people mourned, or didn't mourn, Charlie Kerr, who was killed, of course a controversial conservative activist, but certainly didn't murder anybody.
And here's from the article.
The outpouring of support for Shakor is in stark contrast to the DSA and lawmaker's remarks after the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was allegedly assassinated by Tyler Robinson, a twenty one year old Utah man who embraced left wing and pro transgender political causes.
The CBC opposed a resolution last week condemning Kirk's death, saying the bill was an attempt to legitimize Kirk's worldview, a worldview that includes ideas many Americans find racist, harmful and fundamentally Unamerican.
Well, guys, I find it a tad more un American to support, or cheer or lionize somebody who murdered police and was a wanted terrorist, and to say nothing of the fact that I think her underlying ideology of teardown capitalism all this stuff is probably terrible and absolutely out of touch with reality.
But regardless quite the dichotomy there between how these groups spoke about Kirk or viewed his legacy.
Certainly I didn't agree with everything, or even a lot of what he had to say.
But if you made me choose between a cop killer and a conservative activist whose opinions I didn't always share, I think I know which one I would consider it to be more worthy of honoring their legacy.
But that's just me.
Thanks for letting us know where y'all stand, though, I do appreciate that.
And oh, spare a word for the fact that the Chicago Teachers Union is in on this.
If that's not a sign that the there are some left wing radicals in that city who have captured that education system, I don't know what is you, guys, Let me know what you think in the comments below.
One final thing I want to talk about is Trump's social media feed.
The president is sharing bizarre AI slop videos to his millions to millions of followers, including one.
It's a really weird video I mentioned.
Have to show it to you and then you can see what I'm talking about.
I'm confused about what's going on here, but I'm also concerned.
Here's the video that he shared that for context, guys.
It closely resembles a Fox News broadcast that includes Trump himself speaking, but it's AI.
None of this ever aired.
This is not a real broadcast.
Take a look sident.
Speaker 1Donald J.
Speaker 4Trump has announced a historic new healthcare system, the launch of America's first medbed hospitals and a national medbed card for every citizen.
Speaker 5Every American who soon received their own medbed card.
With it, you'll have guaranteed access to our new hospitals, led by the top doctors in the nation, equipped with the most advanced technology in the world.
These facilities are safe, modern, and designed to restore every citizen to full health and strength.
This is the beginning of a new era in American healthcare.
Speaker 4In this first phase, only a limited number of medbed cards will be really Registration details will be announced very soon.
Speaker 2So I'm genuinely quite concerned by this.
Why did he share this video?
He surely, unless he's also going senile and pulling at Joe Biden, he knows this isn't a real thing.
He knows he didn't say this.
He knows this isn't a real broadcast, So why would he share it.
It's not like some of the AI videos he's shared in the past are are clearly meant to be a joke, like they're funny in some way.
This one isn't funny.
It's just like deceptive and misleading.
So just posting a I don't want to call it believable because it's not believable to me, but maybe to some people that might be believable.
Fake broadcast about this medical technology that doesn't exist and is actually tied to like some weird conspiracy theories.
What is he doing?
Why?
Like why did he posts this?
Is he trolling?
Is he losing it like going senile?
Is he trying to be funny?
I genuinely don't understand.
I would assume he's probably not aware of the conspiracy theories around med beds, like but rather than him knowing about it and like somehow winking or nodding to I don't really understand why he would do that.
But this is inexplicable to me.
It's giving boomer extremely boomer president behind the wheel and kind of concerning.
But he's now deleted it.
So we've got reporting here from mediaite.
President Donald Trump has deleted a bizarre AI generated video he shared in which he was seen promoting a magic bed, which reportedly could cure all diseases.
The president late Saturday night shared the phony video on Truth's social which shows him on a fake Fox News broadcast of My View with Laura Trump touting a medbed which has mythical healing powers.
Some on the extreme right have promoted the conspiracy theory that the US military has med beds, which came cure any disease and even regrow missing limbs.
According to some versions of the conspiracy theory, liberal billionaires have kept the revolutionary beds from the public.
Many who believe the theory think Trump will make the technology available widely now that he's back in office.
Trump himself sharing a video about medbeds is likely to put wind in the sales of those who have been pushing the wacky theory on the darker corners of the Internet.
The video was deleted from Trump's account on Sunday morning, but not before backlash from prominent medical professionals and others.
So I think this is concerning to me because again I think it's unlikely he's intentionally fuel in conspiracy theories, but that will be the effect of it.
And somebody just needs to take the keys to this man social media away from him because his feet is increasingly unhinged and posting this kind of AI slap serves no apparent purpose other than to, I don't know, make us concerned about is mental well being.
I really, I don't know.
What do you guys think.
Let me know in the comments, make sure subscribe if you aren't yet, and we'll leave it there for today's episode of the Bread Versus Everyone podcast.
Thank you all so much for tuning in.
Yetta YadA yah, and uh we'll talk again.
We'll talk
