[SPEAKER_08]: Okay, oh, and I am with you.
[SPEAKER_08]: For number one, zero zero.
[SPEAKER_08]: It is episode one hundred Johnny.
[SPEAKER_08]: whether you've been a listener just last week whether you were a listener because we spoke to the tiger king himself live from prison or maybe you've been listener from the very beginning when I didn't read cat temp book I thank you it's been quite the ride all the way to episode one hundred [SPEAKER_08]: Not every podcast gets this far.
[SPEAKER_08]: Let's just let's just be honest, Johnny.
[SPEAKER_08]: Less than six percent of podcasts get to this point.
[SPEAKER_08]: In fact, most podcasts [SPEAKER_08]: Don't even get past episode three.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's right, over seventy five percent of podcast.
[SPEAKER_08]: Give it up after the third episode.
[SPEAKER_08]: But Johnny, it kept me moving buddy.
[SPEAKER_08]: You kept me moving and we have kept this train rolling into what has become one of the fifty most popular podcast in the United States.
[SPEAKER_08]: On iTunes and I can't thank you the audience enough So we've got a special treat for you this week episode one hundred is It's jam packed we've got as many guesses we can fit into one hundred and you know hopefully hopefully not only do you go damn Jake damn Joe damn Joe you brought the goods this week [SPEAKER_08]: Or maybe you go, hey, you know what?
[SPEAKER_08]: Maybe at two hundred he'll finally figure it out, you know?
[SPEAKER_08]: Maybe, Johnny.
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm being real here, Johnny.
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm being as open and honest as I can be.
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm bearing my soul that this show is just getting started.
[SPEAKER_08]: We've got a lot of things coming in the next one hundred.
[SPEAKER_08]: a lot of things and I appreciate you again if you've been listening from the from the get episode one or if you just started maybe even just this episode thank you so freaking much it is very much appreciated and you know we're going to keep we're going to keep this train moving sometimes you just have to put in new existence right you have to [SPEAKER_08]: put the words into existence.
[SPEAKER_08]: I say we're going to go another hundred episodes.
[SPEAKER_08]: We will reach episode two hundred.
[SPEAKER_08]: And it is now proven that when I verbalize it, when I put it into existence with my words, unfortunately, things just my country.
[SPEAKER_08]: At the beginning of July, not that long ago.
[SPEAKER_08]: In fact, a month ago today.
[SPEAKER_08]: We had an episode.
[SPEAKER_08]: I talked about storms.
[SPEAKER_08]: I talked about the wind.
[SPEAKER_08]: I talked about how I kind of like it.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't mind when fences fall down when the neighbors fences fall down because then I couldn't look in and I could see what's up.
[SPEAKER_08]: Did Johnny, can you roll the clip from July to place?
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't mind if some fences get blown over frankly.
[SPEAKER_08]: It really doesn't bother me.
[SPEAKER_08]: And I'm not talking about my fence.
[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, forget that.
[SPEAKER_08]: I leave my fence up, okay?
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm saying when I'm driving around, you know, some people are like, I don't like it when, you know, the neighbor's fences blow down and just looks bad in the neighborhood.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't mind it.
[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't mind seeing what kind of bullshit you're up to.
[SPEAKER_08]: Like this is prime time for me to know exactly what you got going on.
[SPEAKER_08]: Not a joke, Johnny.
[SPEAKER_08]: I really, I really like seeing one of those ruptured.
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm not like a peeping talk guy.
[SPEAKER_08]: Like I'm not in the window, you know, you know, finger down on the blinds and peeking through and watching to see what everybody's doing.
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm a if I walk by and I see you doing something out there.
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm going to see what's up.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's it.
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm going to see what's up.
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm going to see what you're up to and probably talk about it to somebody.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's that's about it.
[SPEAKER_08]: I will not go out of my way to know exactly what you're doing.
[SPEAKER_08]: For example, neighbor across the street, they had one of those open top dumpsters in their driveway for, I don't know, three, four days and it looked like they had a whole bunch of [SPEAKER_08]: tree branches and weeds and whatnot just thrown in right whole bunch of junk being thrown in there.
[SPEAKER_08]: I didn't care enough to go ask what kind of project they were working on.
[SPEAKER_08]: I didn't care enough to drive around their corner lot, drive around the house and see what was going on in the backyard.
[SPEAKER_08]: No fence there.
[SPEAKER_08]: I could just peek right through.
[SPEAKER_08]: No, but when my daughter was going to walk, I was like, hey, go walk by there and see what's up.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's my interest level with this kind of stuff.
[SPEAKER_08]: So your fence blows over when I'm driving by at my own convenience.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm going to drive by at my normal speed.
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm going to see what's up.
[SPEAKER_08]: We all know I have rules to this.
[SPEAKER_08]: There is literally when I'm driving only one thing that could possibly slow me down when I look over.
[SPEAKER_08]: And that's if a titty pops out, the little titty pops out, you look over and you see a titty, you will absolutely slow down.
[SPEAKER_08]: I will.
[SPEAKER_08]: They're not, they're not one size fits all guys.
[SPEAKER_08]: We know this.
[SPEAKER_08]: They are all shapes and sizes, so each one is its own individual.
[SPEAKER_08]: One pops out, I'm looking, I'm slowing down, I'm looking, that's the facts.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's the fact.
[SPEAKER_08]: Now, if you heard, if you heard my words exact, I like to see what's going on.
[SPEAKER_08]: You know, just kind of see what kind of bullshit my neighbors are.
[SPEAKER_08]: The people in the neighborhood are up to, but what I did also say is that I don't want my fence falling down.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's the last thing I want.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't want to deal with that.
[SPEAKER_08]: And yesterday morning, big ass storm, what happens for the neighbors tree falls down and crushes my fence?
[SPEAKER_08]: So now the neighborhood gets to see what kind of bullshit I'm up to.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's that's that's what I get for going on the record is saying I Don't have a problem with the fences falling down and seeing what's up.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's so this I'm hand up.
[SPEAKER_08]: That one's on me guys [SPEAKER_08]: The good news is, it was the neighbor's tree that fell out of my fence.
[SPEAKER_08]: So that one's not on me, right?
[SPEAKER_08]: Like their home owners insurance is gonna have to cover my fence, at least.
[SPEAKER_08]: So I'm gonna get new fence out of this.
[SPEAKER_08]: But damn, fence looks like hell now.
[SPEAKER_08]: Don't we get a new one?
[SPEAKER_08]: Well, here we are, episode one hundred.
[SPEAKER_08]: I've got I've got a couple of guests that are going to be joining us here in studio and just a little bit.
[SPEAKER_08]: Grant Pearson, Des Pearson.
[SPEAKER_08]: They've been on the show many times.
[SPEAKER_08]: We've also got quite a few people calling in.
[SPEAKER_08]: One to just wish us a happy one hundred.
[SPEAKER_08]: And for starters, here's a guy.
[SPEAKER_08]: He's been on the show many, many times.
[SPEAKER_08]: He's my brother.
[SPEAKER_08]: Kylo, them calling in the laugh with me.
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey Jeremy, this is Kyle.
[SPEAKER_01]: I just saw that I called you last night and [SPEAKER_01]: Um, not going to lie after a couple of beers.
[SPEAKER_01]: I can't really remember what I said.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I want to send this message.
[SPEAKER_01]: So hopefully you can use this, um, and hopefully it's a good one.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I just want to say congratulations on one hundred episodes laugh with me podcast.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's been a great time.
[SPEAKER_01]: Been listening since the beginning.
[SPEAKER_01]: Been on a couple of times.
[SPEAKER_01]: Been on unwillingly at least one time.
[SPEAKER_01]: That was wild, but it happened.
[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, love podcast will keep listening every single week.
[SPEAKER_01]: Keep a rolling.
[SPEAKER_01]: There you go, thanks Kyle.
[SPEAKER_01]: That was awesome.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's my brother.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's my brother right there.
[SPEAKER_08]: Just calling in, wishing us a happy one hundred.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's what it's all about.
[SPEAKER_08]: Love having Kyle on the show.
[SPEAKER_08]: In fact, every time Kyle's on the show, we gain listeners.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know what it is.
[SPEAKER_08]: He made Dizzy have his own kind of audience.
[SPEAKER_08]: He's a grocer.
[SPEAKER_08]: He's not in the media business.
[SPEAKER_08]: He doesn't have a podcast or a show of any type on his own.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know if he's advertising the pod at his retail location.
[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, maybe, right?
[SPEAKER_08]: Is he doing that?
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm not paying for it.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's the case.
[SPEAKER_08]: I have not once paid for an advertisement over there.
[SPEAKER_08]: So I'm just on the record there.
[SPEAKER_08]: But holy cow.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's great.
[SPEAKER_08]: And I'm sure Kyle will be back on the pot again in the next one hundred episodes.
[SPEAKER_08]: So all these all these call-ins people send me recordings.
[SPEAKER_08]: I haven't listened to them yet.
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm just noticing that Kyle had sent a second one before that.
[SPEAKER_08]: I thought we just had the one.
[SPEAKER_08]: All right, let's see.
[SPEAKER_08]: All right, Kyle had a second recording coming in.
[SPEAKER_08]: All right, dude.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yo, J-O and the left with me podcast.
[SPEAKER_01]: I just wanted to call and say congratulations on hitting two hundred episodes and I just want to say [SPEAKER_01]: that you did it without turning your back on the people that supported you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just kidding, you called me on my mother's birthday to turn me into some bit to monetize me.
[SPEAKER_01]: Your own good brother.
[SPEAKER_01]: You son of a bitch calling me on my mother's birthday.
[SPEAKER_01]: I trusted you and you turned your back on me and you fucking called me on my birthday.
[SPEAKER_01]: You.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's how I feel.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right, I'll talk to you later.
[SPEAKER_08]: All right.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's Johnny.
[SPEAKER_08]: Maybe we need to listen to these ahead of time because that.
[SPEAKER_08]: So here's.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_08]: Here's the thing.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_08]: Hand up.
[SPEAKER_08]: I called him out as birthday recording show.
[SPEAKER_08]: Me and Eric.
[SPEAKER_08]: We wonder what you're gonna have to birthday.
[SPEAKER_08]: Fell it in answer.
[SPEAKER_08]: Fell it in answer.
[SPEAKER_08]: It's all right.
[SPEAKER_08]: Tell me do it.
[SPEAKER_08]: I really, now because I now I feel like maybe we should have listened to these ahead of time, Johnny.
[SPEAKER_08]: Like, uh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_08]: Anyways, he's, uh, should I, I feel like now we should cut it to break.
[SPEAKER_08]: It's the one hundred episode I've got two great two guys who've both been on on the show A combined what four four five times now four combined I believe I think I've been on three times I think so so we've got Grant Pearson we've got Des Pearson and Together they make Pearson squared See I always have a problem [SPEAKER_06]: People say something squared.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: Because you're looking at one of something and the squaring one is one.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm just saying that mathematically when you say something squared it doesn't work.
[SPEAKER_06]: Like double Pearson.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's fine, but square does not correct.
[SPEAKER_06]: Square.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's what my advice said.
[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, yo.
[SPEAKER_08]: He's does so after we recorded.
[SPEAKER_08]: So ninety-seven that does was on.
[SPEAKER_08]: I found out he has like catch phrases.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't wish I knew about the catch phrases when we recorded the episode of it.
[SPEAKER_08]: All catch phrases.
[SPEAKER_08]: But here we are.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: That's what she said.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's not original at all.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's not original, but at all.
[SPEAKER_06]: I think he ran Lincoln said that one.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's uh, that's a Lincoln original Lincoln original okay.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's fair.
[SPEAKER_06]: You know, I did get his burger dress.
[SPEAKER_06]: Someone's like that's that's pretty good.
[SPEAKER_06]: He's like that's what she said.
[SPEAKER_06]: You think it goes that far back.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I think so.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's pretty impressive.
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean it could be something he ripped off from George Washington.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, who are we to?
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not a historian.
[SPEAKER_08]: Were you alive during that time?
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, no.
[SPEAKER_06]: No.
[SPEAKER_06]: I am approximately one month older than you.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm just trying to get it out of the square because it's like here I you're you're talking about it as if you were there and then doesn't I we we were talking about nine eleven so I'm just like how did that impact you and it happened and then he looked at me like I was the biggest idiot.
[SPEAKER_07]: I just my a twice.
[SPEAKER_08]: He's just full of catcher.
[SPEAKER_08]: He's got a bunch of lines.
[SPEAKER_08]: Good stuff.
[SPEAKER_08]: All right.
[SPEAKER_08]: Well, great.
[SPEAKER_08]: As you know, as the audience knows, because honestly, whenever you're on the show, it's some of our most listened to episodes.
[SPEAKER_08]: And I think it has to do, you're our movie expert.
[SPEAKER_08]: People love the movie.
[SPEAKER_08]: People love how they would.
[SPEAKER_08]: But we're halfway to the Academy Awards.
[SPEAKER_08]: Can you give us one movie you've seen this year that you would say you will absolutely hear about this movie when it comes Oscar time.
[SPEAKER_06]: There's two hopes for me with this one.
[SPEAKER_06]: There is the big crowd pleaser F-One.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: Great money.
[SPEAKER_06]: Which was fantastic.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know if it'll actually end up getting anything, but it's the kind of movie that the Academy Awards should nominate because people like it and people should go see it.
[SPEAKER_06]: So that's one.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'd love to see something scriptwriting for friendship.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I just watched it again last night.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's so good.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's fantastic.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think it's going to get anything anywhere else, but original screenplay potentially.
[SPEAKER_06]: I doubt that we're ever going to see Tim Robinson get a get an Academy Award for acting.
[SPEAKER_06]: He's fantastic and it don't get me wrong.
[SPEAKER_06]: Paul Rudd's fantastic and everybody's fantastic.
[SPEAKER_06]: But I think script writing I would love to see that happen there.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, that would be incredible.
[SPEAKER_08]: And definitely worthy at the end of that movie, I'm not spoiling anything because it's still fresh and a lot of people haven't seen it.
[SPEAKER_08]: But the end of the movie.
[SPEAKER_08]: when he is holding the gun.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, okay.
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm not spoiling anything.
[SPEAKER_08]: But what I'm saying is I was craving and desperate for like a buddy comedy with him and somebody playing the straight roll and him just fumbling around, you know, trying to solve crime or whatever.
[SPEAKER_08]: Wouldn't that be awesome?
[SPEAKER_08]: Like a, like a, what's the movie with the ice cube and Kevin Hart?
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, uh, ride was me right along.
[SPEAKER_08]: Right on.
[SPEAKER_08]: I just watched right along to their night again.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_08]: What I want something like that.
[SPEAKER_08]: Like give me give me Sam Richardson in the ice cube roll and give me Tim Robertson and the Kevin Hart roll.
[SPEAKER_08]: Let's go solve crimes.
[SPEAKER_08]: There you go.
[SPEAKER_08]: Perfect.
[SPEAKER_07]: I think I've only seen one thing.
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, Dr.
J Tech is the two things with like Tim Robinson.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yep.
[SPEAKER_07]: He was on SNL and also he showed me the sloppy sticks.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_06]: He hasn't watched, I think you should leave.
[SPEAKER_06]: There's a lot of stuff in there that I don't think is necessarily appropriate for a twelve-year-old.
[SPEAKER_06]: He lived through nine eleven.
[SPEAKER_06]: He did not.
[SPEAKER_06]: There's a few things I think I've shown him for my think you should leave, but...
Sloppy Stakes is excellent.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, Sloppy Stakes.
[SPEAKER_06]: Just in case you're ever connecting into my internet, that is the network name.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_06]: Stop this thing.
[SPEAKER_06]: Stop this thing.
[SPEAKER_06]: So.
[SPEAKER_06]: Good to know that.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to tell you the password.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_08]: Well, the hacker friends don't need passwords.
[SPEAKER_08]: They'll find the passwords.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: And they got to find me first wherever I'm at.
[SPEAKER_06]: You got that thing.
[SPEAKER_06]: I knew it all time.
[SPEAKER_06]: So they got to be where you're at.
[SPEAKER_06]: So anyway.
[SPEAKER_06]: But yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: So he's seen a couple of Tim Robbins and things.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's awesome.
[SPEAKER_06]: I would just big, big fans of that guy.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, you could see he's in the studio here.
[SPEAKER_08]: You could see I'm quite the fan.
[SPEAKER_08]: I bought so many packs of baseball cards to find that to rob to baseball card to then eventually give up and just buy it on eBay.
[SPEAKER_06]: Is that like the, uh, just all the boxes in the corner there?
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, like I just, tearing.
[SPEAKER_08]: I've got all these baseball cards and all I wanted was the Tim Robinson.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, you know, that's what you do.
[SPEAKER_06]: You do what you did.
[SPEAKER_06]: You tried to do it the honest way.
[SPEAKER_06]: I did.
[SPEAKER_06]: And you just went for the easy way.
[SPEAKER_08]: Well, eventually you get tired.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, there's only so many packs of baseball cards that you can open.
[SPEAKER_06]: There's only so much gum you can chew.
[SPEAKER_06]: Do they still come with gum?
[SPEAKER_06]: They do not.
[SPEAKER_06]: What that gum was terrible?
[SPEAKER_06]: Why would they switch that up?
[SPEAKER_08]: You can still find packs like old packs like the original packs that have the original gum and you can still find those.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_08]: So if you want like an original we can go find that stale as gum but it's going to I mean I'm pretty sure it'll break like glass.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I'd pretty sure it'll be a terrible, Oculus biting into the lightbulb sort of situation.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I want to provide some insight.
[SPEAKER_07]: I've actually seen like a YouTuber, uh, by like the thirty-year-old gum that came with like garbage pelkins things.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: And yeah, know it.
[SPEAKER_07]: It like when he bit into it, there is an audible crunch.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's so close.
[SPEAKER_06]: No gum gum does not crunch.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that is what I know life's rules.
[SPEAKER_08]: I've only got you for a little bit time here, but I wanted to just say like the YouTube channel at Des Under Score piece.
[SPEAKER_08]: So pizza crust videos, you can find Des of stuff.
[SPEAKER_08]: But Grant, you're not on it.
[SPEAKER_08]: Really ever.
[SPEAKER_08]: I know you get credits.
[SPEAKER_08]: I've seen his name in the credits.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, no.
[SPEAKER_07]: I think I think you're really [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I'm not in a whole lot of stuff.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, where are you at though?
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know, probably in bed.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_06]: Now that's where my kids find me.
[SPEAKER_06]: Usually, usually I'm somewhere doing something important, right?
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm a big, important person.
[SPEAKER_06]: You are a big, important person.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I...
[SPEAKER_06]: have many leather-bound books.
[SPEAKER_06]: You got you?
[SPEAKER_06]: You got a read?
[SPEAKER_06]: No, no, you're like visual.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I just collect them.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's all.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_06]: Like, you know, there'll be a time I want to watch a movie and it'll be like, I want to watch Euro trip.
[SPEAKER_06]: And then I'll just be like, Des, go find it.
[SPEAKER_06]: Because I don't know what those symbols mean.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but what a great movie.
[SPEAKER_08]: No.
[SPEAKER_08]: Wow, that sound track.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know about it.
[SPEAKER_08]: Well, we got to get, we got to get him in on a short or something.
[SPEAKER_06]: You probably act right?
[SPEAKER_06]: I've done a couple of things.
[SPEAKER_06]: I showed him something that I acted in once.
[SPEAKER_06]: How did that go?
[SPEAKER_07]: It was great.
[SPEAKER_07]: It was great.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_06]: One of my friends back in my time in the Lincoln Nebraska was making a short movie and so I was a part in it.
[SPEAKER_06]: I think I've seen this movie.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, there's actually two that I've been a part of.
[SPEAKER_06]: The other one I don't have a copy of.
[SPEAKER_08]: One for sure.
[SPEAKER_08]: I know I've seen.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_08]: Have you listened to his music?
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: A little bit.
[SPEAKER_07]: Was it on your normal?
[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: I'm going to put that in one of my videos.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_08]: So you have music that you own.
[SPEAKER_08]: Like you should be.
[SPEAKER_08]: You should have that in your songs.
[SPEAKER_08]: I have eight songs.
[SPEAKER_06]: Eight songs that you could use over and over and over again.
[SPEAKER_06]: I think somebody did it.
[SPEAKER_07]: I think somebody did it.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I think somebody posted them somewhere.
[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know where.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that was a long time ago.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's over twenty years ago.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but that's what we do is we just talk about the past.
[SPEAKER_07]: I love the past.
[SPEAKER_07]: The onion Arvada was revolutionary.
[SPEAKER_07]: I can't believe they broke up, man.
[SPEAKER_08]: I see we're starting.
[SPEAKER_08]: We're starting the new wave, man.
[SPEAKER_07]: We got to get the band back together.
[SPEAKER_07]: Let's get the band back together.
[SPEAKER_06]: All right, well the the next time we talk all have not put the band back together.
[SPEAKER_08]: Hey, let's get the band back together.
[SPEAKER_08]: Let's get them on the pod.
[SPEAKER_08]: Let's talk about the old days.
[SPEAKER_08]: But more important.
[SPEAKER_08]: More importantly, talk about the new days because there's a new day coming.
[SPEAKER_06]: New new day.
[SPEAKER_06]: New day.
[SPEAKER_06]: New day.
[SPEAKER_06]: New day is coming.
[SPEAKER_06]: New day is coming.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: We need we need a new album.
[SPEAKER_07]: We need I'll be the PR manager.
[SPEAKER_07]: I know what to call it.
[SPEAKER_08]: You could shoot the documentary.
[SPEAKER_07]: It would be called layers by the onion armada.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's funny, actually.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's good.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that's funny.
[SPEAKER_07]: A billion sales.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, a billion.
[SPEAKER_06]: Nobody buys records anymore.
[SPEAKER_06]: What's your catch race?
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, there you go.
[SPEAKER_06]: That's where you got to throw that in.
[SPEAKER_06]: So, yeah, well, I mean, nobody, nobody likes music anymore.
[SPEAKER_06]: Where everybody likes music, but they like them one song at a time.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's, uh, nobody's like looking at it going man.
[SPEAKER_06]: I wish I could listen to the entire tickets to my downfall.
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, that's insane.
[SPEAKER_06]: Why would you even?
[SPEAKER_06]: Why would you bring that particular album up in my face like this?
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm just saying you know he's like I got to listen to the whole thing they're like I wanted to listen to the one hit song off it and that's all you need this is the same like every song on the onion or buttons layers out that would they would all be hit song yeah yeah absolutely that's all I do break it's you're after banger after banger there would be there would be shricks there would be our body [SPEAKER_08]: You've already written the songs?
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, they're so easy.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, this is easy then.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, if you can write them for me, that'd be fantastic.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, it would be perfect.
[SPEAKER_06]: Absolutely.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, let's do this.
[SPEAKER_06]: Sounds like we're back in studio.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_08]: I'm not in the band, but we're back in the studio.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: Remember, were you there election night when I was just walking around playing guitar, singing songs about the election?
[SPEAKER_06]: I wasn't there, but I do know of this story.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: Was that two thousand four?
[SPEAKER_06]: I believe so.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it was the two thousand four election.
[SPEAKER_06]: We were just watching the, the results coming in and I kept playing songs, some of them were depressing then others.
[SPEAKER_06]: Just riffing.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yep, just riffing.
[SPEAKER_07]: I know.
[SPEAKER_07]: I know.
[SPEAKER_07]: I know.
[SPEAKER_07]: And also the other guy.
[SPEAKER_07]: All are in the election set for Biden because apparently he's been replaced.
[SPEAKER_07]: But that the other guy got voted in and that the I know the story.
[SPEAKER_08]: I feel like he's been asleep for the last year.
[SPEAKER_08]: You know what?
[SPEAKER_08]: A lot happened, right?
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, there's been a lot.
[SPEAKER_08]: Like since that moment, you just saying about a lot has happened.
[SPEAKER_08]: Has anything big happened this is why you had this is why you don't remember nine eleven.
[SPEAKER_08]: This is exactly why you've just got pretty far to your life.
[SPEAKER_06]: It's gone Yeah, I'm pretty sure that was that was a little bit before you sport.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I think that was like [SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't keep track of nine eleven.
[SPEAKER_08]: Why are we even talking about nine eleven right now?
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's awesome.
[SPEAKER_08]: What's with the ten dollars?
[SPEAKER_08]: So this is the first money I've ever made doing comedy.
[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, so if anyone app so I frame it because if anybody ever questions that I'm a professional Look at that people pay me [SPEAKER_07]: Did you just like tell jokes to teenager and he gave you ten dollars to screw off?
[SPEAKER_08]: No, okay.
[SPEAKER_08]: No, that is not how it went down.
[SPEAKER_08]: It was an actual show and an actual theater with actual people not insipede to come see me.
[SPEAKER_08]: Not mean necessarily, I was just one of the cast, but I was there.
[SPEAKER_08]: I told jokes.
[SPEAKER_06]: You did, I don't know if I was there for that one.
[SPEAKER_08]: You were not, but it's funny story about that show in particular, I almost ship myself on the drive over.
[SPEAKER_08]: So the point that I had already made terms with, I was okay, I was going to do this and I was going to just have to immediately [SPEAKER_08]: come up with jokes and this was gonna be mad that night because it was gonna be bad.
[SPEAKER_08]: But luckily I was able to park and get inside and nothing tragic happened.
[SPEAKER_08]: But that's wonderful to hear.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, just a little side-no-free eyes.
[SPEAKER_08]: All right, well thanks guys for hopping on episode one hundred of laugh with me.
[SPEAKER_08]: We'll have you both on again.
[SPEAKER_06]: Congratulations.
[SPEAKER_07]: Congratulations.
[SPEAKER_06]: I was gonna say congratulations on a hundred episodes, but that's better.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: That should, and the one hundred's episodes.
[SPEAKER_06]: It probably will end the entire show all together.
[SPEAKER_07]: Like we will not have a little.
[SPEAKER_06]: Are you gonna have a quade army?
[SPEAKER_06]: I need a quade army.
[SPEAKER_06]: I know.
[SPEAKER_06]: I was just thinking about that.
[SPEAKER_06]: But what do we call each other?
[SPEAKER_08]: Like what are we?
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_08]: We got to figure that out.
[SPEAKER_08]: But there needs to be.
[SPEAKER_08]: There's a population of people out there.
[SPEAKER_08]: What are we calling ourselves?
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_08]: It has to happen organically.
[SPEAKER_08]: Like it's got a, but I'm with you.
[SPEAKER_08]: I think we do need something.
[SPEAKER_06]: Odom, golden listeners.
[SPEAKER_08]: We're gonna keep working on this.
[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
[SPEAKER_05]: Thanks guys.
[SPEAKER_05]: Bye.
[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, man, it's Katmaslowski.
[SPEAKER_05]: Thanks so much for having me on your show.
[SPEAKER_05]: I hope you have a hundred more or more than that.
[SPEAKER_05]: I hope you have a lot.
[SPEAKER_05]: Just a lot more.
[SPEAKER_05]: Thanks, Kat.
[SPEAKER_05]: I hope we could, uh, we could get a lot more too.
[SPEAKER_08]: I guess, uh, I guess we'll just see what happens.
[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, at this point, I mean, Kyle's cost passed.
[SPEAKER_08]: Um, yeah, at least at least Kent didn't tear us down.
[SPEAKER_08]: in his video.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, we're gonna, Johnny.
[SPEAKER_08]: Next time we do something like this, we're gonna go ahead and listen to the clips I had at the time.
[SPEAKER_08]: Okay?
[SPEAKER_08]: New rule.
[SPEAKER_08]: Well, one of our most popular episodes of season four has been the interview we had with the Tiger King himself, Joe Exotic.
[SPEAKER_08]: called in from prison and uh...
you know kind of just gave us fifteen minutes that's all you can get right i think that's how long his phone call was uh...
from prison fifteen minutes uh...
but i shoot will take fifteen minutes from the tiger king [SPEAKER_08]: And if you haven't listened to the episode, please go back and listen.
[SPEAKER_08]: It was a fun fun-fifteen as the ladies call it.
[SPEAKER_08]: And yeah, I mean, the Tiger King.
[SPEAKER_08]: Shoot, the guy's trying to get, he's trying to get that part and still from the president.
[SPEAKER_08]: And he's certainly working in hard to do what he can to get a president.
[SPEAKER_08]: Sometimes I think he forgets that why he was put in there.
[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, he did.
[SPEAKER_08]: He did pay somebody to try to put down Carropaskin.
[SPEAKER_08]: Now some of the other stuff who knows, maybe he did have witnesses or whomever that were lying and made things up.
[SPEAKER_08]: And that's [SPEAKER_08]: some of the charges against him were sentenced to that because he because they lied but he did uh...
he did try to pay somebody to kill carol basking so he's still got to figure that one out and i'm sure we'd imagine anybody in president that's looking to pardon him's like well i mean the animal stuff may be not true right maybe not true but [SPEAKER_08]: How do you explain trying to hire an undercover FBI agent?
[SPEAKER_08]: Now one stuff, but with that big set, we did enjoy having a Tiger King on and here we go.
[SPEAKER_08]: Tiger King, go back to the side of the episode with the Tiger King.
[SPEAKER_08]: He did have something he wanted to say.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is your leader, President Donald Trump, not the Tiger King, Joe Exotic, Joe's an interesting character and I may pardon him or I may not, but that's up to me as I'm in charge of everything.
[SPEAKER_00]: Congratulations on one hundred big beautiful episodes of laugh with me.
[SPEAKER_00]: Would have been better if I was a guest.
[SPEAKER_02]: Man, that's the hundredth episode.
[SPEAKER_02]: A laugh with me with Jeremy Odom.
[SPEAKER_02]: It should boil a very vague issue.
[SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm a regular guest on here, man.
[SPEAKER_02]: Hundredth episode.
[SPEAKER_02]: Do you really think we would get to this point with all the shitty episodes?
[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't think so either.
[SPEAKER_02]: But this is where we are, man.
[SPEAKER_02]: Jeremy Odom, laugh with me.
[SPEAKER_02]: Hundredth episode.
[SPEAKER_02]: Y'all know what it is.
[SPEAKER_02]: Man, go listen to it.
[SPEAKER_02]: It should boil a very vague, it's no fun.
[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go.
[SPEAKER_08]: All right, Johnny, we really have to start listening to these before we put them out.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's oh my goodness.
[SPEAKER_08]: Well, thanks, Betty.
[SPEAKER_08]: Thanks for thanks for the kindish words about episode one hundred.
[SPEAKER_08]: Betty, you know, he was the two thousand twenty four laughing with me podcast.
[SPEAKER_08]: guest of the year and he's putting the work in trying to go back to back.
[SPEAKER_08]: He's got a different competition this year, but he's putting the work in.
[SPEAKER_08]: He's trying to go back to back.
[SPEAKER_08]: Well, here we are.
[SPEAKER_08]: We're getting to the end of the episode.
[SPEAKER_08]: We haven't heard from our guy Eric Larson quite yet.
[SPEAKER_08]: And if you're wondering why, why a guy who's been on the show [SPEAKER_08]: Probably half a dozen times already this year.
[SPEAKER_08]: Why haven't we hurt?
[SPEAKER_08]: Why is he not an episode one hundred?
[SPEAKER_08]: Well, tell you why.
[SPEAKER_08]: He's been on vacation for like a month.
[SPEAKER_08]: And if you go back and listen last few episodes, you can hear he's been doing these, you know, these kind of vacation blogs recalls it and it just kind of tells us what he's doing on vacation.
[SPEAKER_08]: He's been all over the place.
[SPEAKER_08]: He was up in the Dakotas.
[SPEAKER_08]: Last we heard from him.
[SPEAKER_08]: He was down in Georgia and Atlanta.
[SPEAKER_08]: So let's check in for Merrick.
[SPEAKER_08]: We have another vacation kind of occasion blog type deal.
[SPEAKER_08]: We've got, we got for Merrick.
[SPEAKER_08]: So here we go.
[SPEAKER_08]: Let's hear from Merrick.
[SPEAKER_04]: Jeremy, this is Eric.
[SPEAKER_04]: Travel log number four.
[SPEAKER_04]: Day ten of the epic North Dakota Georgia trip.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to try to do this one a little bit differently because it's currently nine a.m.
[SPEAKER_04]: in Georgia.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm a Saturday.
[SPEAKER_04]: I am standing on the top deck of a boat, pontoon boat that's about to go out on to Lake Alatuna.
[SPEAKER_04]: So setting this up today, I'm going to be out on this boat for eight hours and then I will [SPEAKER_04]: attempt to give you a call back tonight to tell you about the adventures but real quick this morning just wanted to hit on one topic I was walking by a Levi story of the day and saw some big signs in the window that said baggy is back and they had you know the baggy jeans baggy shorts baggy jeans skirts and you know it just it kind of made me laugh I mean you're another student of the nineties you know a lot of formative years in there and I mean [SPEAKER_04]: Levi's saying that baggy is back while having those displays.
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, those are weak.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's weak baggy.
[SPEAKER_04]: If baggy's back, then Jinko jeans are back.
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, those jeans that had the huge back pockets, like if you put your wallet in there, it'd be bumping on the back here in Leica.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's baggy.
[SPEAKER_04]: The shit that was in there, that's nothing.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's weak sauce.
[SPEAKER_04]: Frankly, I had doubts about generation Z beforehand, but I'm wondering if they can hang.
[SPEAKER_04]: Because if they're thinking the baggies back, like they've got a lot of work to do to get there.
[SPEAKER_04]: But that's all for this morning.
[SPEAKER_04]: Again, I'll give you an update here later on today.
[SPEAKER_04]: Right?
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I would have to agree.
[SPEAKER_08]: That uh, with Eric there as he's checking out the the Janko or he's talking about the Levi store the baggies back, but here's the deal.
[SPEAKER_08]: Those Janko jeans.
[SPEAKER_08]: It wasn't even that your wall would be hitting the back of your kneecap.
[SPEAKER_08]: You could fit a skateboard in your back pocket.
[SPEAKER_08]: Like those were the biggest back pockets.
[SPEAKER_08]: Anyone had ever seen [SPEAKER_08]: It was like they took, you know, the MC Hammer pants from the eighties.
[SPEAKER_08]: Actually, those, I'm gonna be ninety's two, right?
[SPEAKER_08]: Those big old MC Hammer kind of pajama pants.
[SPEAKER_08]: And then they, except they made them into jeans.
[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, that's essentially what it is.
[SPEAKER_08]: If we were to ever talk to the original designer of these big ass bag pants, I'm sure the MC Hammer pants would have to be some type of an inspiration.
[SPEAKER_08]: I would assume [SPEAKER_08]: They're like, what if those were jeans?
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_08]: I think Eric's on to something there.
[SPEAKER_08]: So that was that was Eric.
[SPEAKER_08]: He was on a boat and he was on the boat in the morning.
[SPEAKER_08]: He was about ready to sail off.
[SPEAKER_08]: We do have one more travel log from from Eric sitting here.
[SPEAKER_08]: It looks like it came about ten hours later.
[SPEAKER_08]: So.
[SPEAKER_08]: Johnny, I'm scared.
[SPEAKER_08]: We really should have listed in these at a time.
[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, little concern.
[SPEAKER_03]: Jeremy.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is Eric.
[SPEAKER_03]: for my fifth and final audio log of my fantastic journey from Nebraska to North Dakota to Georgia.
[SPEAKER_03]: I've been on about drinking for the last eight hours and I've come to several just universal truths.
[SPEAKER_03]: I've seen the blessings of the son of the sky of [SPEAKER_03]: You know, whatever religion that you practice, I understand now, and I have clarity.
[SPEAKER_03]: My shoulders are incredibly sunburned.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm incredibly dehydrated, and I drink an incredible amount of alcohol today, but I have the clarity that I've been lacking before.
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, this life that we're on, it's not about blackjack or...
Black baggy jeans or any of the things that I've spent time talking about in the last couple of travel logs.
[SPEAKER_03]: The journey's all about the friends and the people that spend time and continually invoke, invite you to vote gay.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, those are the most important people.
[SPEAKER_03]: And I know that this might be a very foreign concept to you, but I'm really trusting in Johnny to kind of convey this that when you're really loved, like universally loved, like probably the most popular person on the boat, people are always inviting you in a boat day.
[SPEAKER_03]: That I always want you to be on the boat.
[SPEAKER_03]: So if you're not getting invited a boat day, that probably means that you're not me.
[SPEAKER_03]: And that's a truth.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's just how it is.
[SPEAKER_03]: And the rest of all of these problems, they're all just static.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's all just sparkles in the sky that don't really matter to anybody or anything.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's just, are you getting invited to vote there?
[SPEAKER_03]: And for you, and pretty much the entirety of your listening audience, I mean, they're not getting involved invited about day.
[SPEAKER_03]: So they'll never be part of this truth, but I hope that my travel laws through here have enlightened them to what they're missing and what they could achieve.
[SPEAKER_03]: They just applied themselves and became friends.
[SPEAKER_03]: with the friends of the friends that I have in Georgia.
[SPEAKER_08]: That's so here's the deal.
[SPEAKER_08]: It's it's episode one hundred on my show Johnny on my show.
[SPEAKER_08]: And my good buddy Eric Larson.
[SPEAKER_08]: sends a travel law from his vacationing he's traveling the country he's like I want to tell you I want to tell you my stories I want to tell the people my stories my thoughts while I'm out there this would be good and I go awesome let's do it [SPEAKER_08]: And he gives us some nuggets along the way, right?
[SPEAKER_08]: He's playing blackjack in the Dakota's at the bar.
[SPEAKER_08]: You can go to the bar.
[SPEAKER_08]: You can just play blackjack and probably the money, the proceeds go to some charity, like the Boy Scout or something, right?
[SPEAKER_08]: That was good.
[SPEAKER_08]: That was a nice little nugget.
[SPEAKER_08]: Then we're at the Airbnb.
[SPEAKER_08]: And we're talking who gets to the side who gets the big room because there's some new room in your room in with multiple groups of people.
[SPEAKER_08]: You just who knows how do you decide who gets the big room or not?
[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_08]: Then you go down to Georgia.
[SPEAKER_08]: Then this idea pops in your head.
[SPEAKER_08]: Hey, what are strippers doing during the day?
[SPEAKER_08]: We know they're busy tonight, but what are they doing during the day?
[SPEAKER_08]: Why not open a themed car wash?
[SPEAKER_08]: This is Eric's genius.
[SPEAKER_08]: Then he goes on a boat.
[SPEAKER_08]: He has a nice little boat day and he decides on my show to take a shot at me.
[SPEAKER_08]: You take a shot at the kick on his birthday episode, one hundred.
[SPEAKER_08]: to say, I'm not invited on the boat.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, that that might be true.
[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know that I've ever been invited onto a boat.
[SPEAKER_08]: That might be true, but that doesn't mean I'm not the life of the party.
[SPEAKER_08]: What if I was on a boat?
[SPEAKER_08]: What if somebody had reached their hand out and said, Jeremy, come on the boat?
[SPEAKER_08]: I guarantee you, I hop on that boat, gingerly.
[SPEAKER_08]: And I [SPEAKER_08]: instantly become life for the party damn it Eric Johnny we got to listen to this shit before we put it out there that didn't make us look good dude Johnny it's episode one hundred and I'm in a bad mood this was this was fun this was a good episode Johnny this was [SPEAKER_08]: Hundred episodes.
[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you to anyone who's ever listened to our pod, who's downloaded, who's like, subscribe, comment, and share it.
[SPEAKER_08]: Told somebody about it.
[SPEAKER_08]: Where's the hat?
[SPEAKER_08]: We have hats now.
[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.
[SPEAKER_08]: To everybody who's ever spoke positively or negatively.
[SPEAKER_08]: But the laugh with me podcasts.
[SPEAKER_08]: We appreciate it, okay?
[SPEAKER_08]: All news is good news, right?
[SPEAKER_08]: Thank you so much.

[SPEAKER_08]: to some of our youngest guests, Des, Hattie, our young content creators.
[SPEAKER_08]: To everybody in between, from the Tiger King Kong in from prison, Jake Silverman, stand up comedian from New York City, Zach Peterson, one of the Midwest best stand-up comics going right now.

[SPEAKER_08]: Stephanie Purcell, Emmy Award winning, Stephanie Purcell, one of our first guests took a chance on us.
[SPEAKER_08]: And I can't say thank you enough.
[SPEAKER_08]: As we march toward another one hundred, I tell you what, can we get air back on here now and ask about this?
[SPEAKER_08]: Do you Johnny, thanks for sticking with us here.
[SPEAKER_08]: It's laugh with me.
