Nicole: Welcome to the Frontline Herbalism Podcast with your host, Nicole Rose from the Solidarity Apothecary.

This is your place for all things plants and liberation.

Let's get started.

Nicole: Hello.

Welcome back to the Frontline Herbalism Podcast.

I am yet again recording this in a car, in a car park because of childcare challenges.

And I'm really sorry about the sound quality.

One, my voice is going to.

And two, my microphone is for some reason not working, like the adapter for my computer isn't working for it.

So anyway, I'm really sorry about the quality.

I just wanted to say that the Herbalism PTSD and Traumatic Stress course is open for enrolment again.

Woohoo.

So you've probably heard me talk about this course on every single episode of this podcast, but it's like my main course, body of work that explores all about trauma and different nervous system states and the physiology of the nervous system, as well as how do we collectively respond to trauma and traumatic stress, like the political nature of trauma.

And then it really goes deep into nervines, which are plants with an affinity for the nervous system.

We look at 32 plants in depth with their own profiles, like their own video recordings, exploring their medicinal actions and their kind of role in recovery from trauma with, you know, a lot of nuance and experience.

And yeah, this **** in practice.

And you know, if you're new to herbalism, it's got like all the things about medicine making and how to forage safely and sustainably and herbal safety stuff and yeah, all the things.

So, yeah, it is open for enrollment.

Please check out the show notes of the podcast.

I'm going to link in where all the other episodes are, where I'm talking about the course in much more depth.

I talk about the modules, how it was designed, how it's structured.

So please check that out.

But yeah, please, please enroll if you're interested.

It's going to be available until early October.

And yeah, I'm going to be talking about it more on, on upcoming episodes, but I just, yeah, I just wanted to like nip on the podcast and tell you that it is.

Yeah, it is.

Ready to join.

It's completely sliding scale.

No one is turned away for lack of funds.

You can access it for free if needed.

But you know, like, financial contributions are seriously welcome, especially as I'm a serious single parent with a toddler, which again, is its own podcast episode at a later date.

Like they say, talk about your scars, not your wounds.

So I won't share the kind of **** show of things happening at the moment with my family, but we're all okay.

And yeah, the baby is.

He's doing great and is the best thing ever.

But anyway, yeah, if you can put some funds in, like a donation that's like amazing.

You're welcome to sign up to one of the payment plans so you can pay small amounts over several months.

And all of the money, like it pays for my kind of livelihood, like my, the monthly salary that I take, but it really like sustains the solidarity apothecary.

So it gets the books to prisoners, it gets the care packages out to people.

Means I can do one to one support with working class comrades and people without access to funds.

You know, it used to enable me to go to Calais, which I'm not doing at the moment because of the baby, but I'm still involved in the mobile herbal clinic project as you know.

And yeah, it just ******* enables everything.

So please, please, please sign up if you're keen.

I think it's a really high quality learning experience.

And yeah, there's not very many offerings that are similar out there.

And yeah, it's just part of this whole like solidarity economy with the course like your contribution is going towards like shitloads of other solidarity work.

So yeah, thank you for taking an interest.

Please check it out.

And yeah, thanks for listening.

I will be back soon.

Okay, bye.

Nicole: Thanks so much for listening to the Frontline Herbalism podcast.
