Today’s episode focuses on the collaboration between F&M Assistant Professor of Earth & Environment, Dr. Eve Bratman and Mr. Mike Devaney, Manager at the Department of Public Works, Bureau of Solid Waste & Recycling for the City of Lancaster for their project entitled “Residential Composting Cooperatives in the City of Lancaster.” They discuss how composting enables both a circular economy and enhanced civic engagement. Their project launches on Earth Day (April 22nd) 2021.
