Today’s episode focuses on the collaboration between F&M and United Way of Lancaster. We talk with F&M Assistant Professor of Biology & Public Health, Dr. Harriet Okatch; F&M Assistant Professor of Government & Public Health, Dr. Jennifer Meyer; and Mr. Kevin Ressler, President & CEO of United Way of Lancaster, for their project entitled “COVID-19 and Its Economic and Social Impact in Lancaster County.” They highlight the need for a public health department in Lancaster. Their multidisciplinary study covers the fields of economics, government, public health, sociology, epidemiology, and language learning, and has been designed by five F&M College researchers:
